Hello everybody, I'm here back with another video preaching about another subject, another topic, another doctrine in the Bible that a lot of people don't understand. And really the purpose of this series, this Four Dummies series, is to explain doctrines which, some of them are simple, some of them are a little bit more complicated, but things that a lot of people really reject for no reason, things that people attack and they straw man, they don't really understand what these doctrines are and what the Bible says about it. So that's the purpose of this series, to explain what the Bible says and to put to bed a lot of misconceptions and a lot of false attacks and a lot of lies about certain doctrines that I believe and that other Christians believe. Today I want to talk about the word reprobate, which is a word that appears several times in the Bible in both the Old Testament and the New Testament, mainly in the New Testament, explain what that means, what the Bible says about these people who are called reprobates. There's a lot of misunderstanding about this. I know there's a lot of people on Instagram here who have attacked me and my pastor and people in my church and said, you know, we teach this or we believe this, and honestly none of those things are true and those people, it seems like they're not even willing to understand or even listen to what we believe and what the Bible says. So first I want to start off with talking about what the word reprobate means or what is a reprobate. Now the first time that that word appears in the Bible it actually gives a definition. That's what I like about the King James Bible is that there's a lot of words which we might not use in our everyday vernacular, but which the Bible gives a definition for if you read the context. So the first time that the word reprobate appears in the Bible is in Jeremiah chapter 6 and verse 30. It says, reprobate silver shall men call them because the Lord hath rejected them. So he's saying that these people are called reprobate silver because the Lord hath rejected them. So what the word reprobate simply means is rejected. That's what it means, the most basic definition. Now in the Bible, in the New Testament, it gives some details about what reprobates are and the fact that reprobates, those who have been rejected by the Lord, as defined in Jeremiah chapter 6, are unsaved. And there's this false doctrine that people believe and where they say that reprobates are Christians that haven't exactly lived up to God's requirements, things like that. There's people who believe that Christians can become reprobates, but that's not true. That's not what the Bible teaches and we'll see that in 2 Corinthians chapter 13. So it says in 2 Corinthians chapter 13, examine yourselves whether ye be in the faith, prove your own selves, know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates, but I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. So he's saying that Jesus Christ is in you except ye be reprobates. Now it says in Romans chapter 8 that if, I'm sorry, I don't have that memorized but let me turn there real quick just so I make this point and just so I don't quote it wrong. It says in Romans chapter 8 of the Spirit of Christ in verse 9. Romans chapter 8 verse 9, now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. So the Bible teaches very clearly if you do not have the Spirit of Christ within you, then you do not belong to Christ. In other words, you're not saved, you're not a Christian. Every believer is given the Holy Spirit. Every believer has Christ dwell in their hearts as it says in Ephesians 3.17 that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith. So if you believed on Jesus Christ, then Christ is within your heart. But it says right here in 2 Corinthians chapter 13 in verse 5 that Jesus Christ is in you except ye be reprobates. That shows us that these reprobates, or as defined in Jeremiah 6.30, those who have been rejected by the Lord, they do not have Jesus Christ in them. According to Romans 8.9, that means they do not belong to Christ. They are not saved. That's what he's saying here. That's why he starts off the verse by saying, Examine yourselves whether ye be in the faith. That shows us that these people who are reprobates, they are not of the faith. Now they might be pretenders, there might be some who pretend to be Christians, but they don't actually have Jesus Christ within them. They're reprobates. They've been rejected by the Lord. Now how do people become a reprobate and what does that entail? You know, what is a reprobate? What does rejected of the Lord mean? Well, the primary passage about this in the New Testament is Romans chapter 1. It says in Romans chapter 1, and this is kind of a long passage here, but from verse 18 to verse 32, it explains how somebody becomes a reprobate. And it goes into detail about the characteristics of reprobates as well. So it says starting in verse 18 of Romans chapter 1, so here we'll see how somebody becomes a reprobate, why God rejects these people. Why are these people rejected of the Lord? It says, Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it unto them. For the invisible things of Him, for the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Because that when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God. Neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like the corruptible man, into birds, and four-footed beasts, and into creeping things. Wherefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves, who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worship and serve the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature, and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lusts one toward another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves the recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient, being filled with awe and righteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful, who, knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do that. So, there's a few details in this passage from verse 18 to verse 32 that I'll talk about later, but right now I just want to focus on how it leads into verse 28 of how God gives them over to a reprobate mind. So the reason why they're called reprobates, or the reasons why they're rejected of the Lord, is because they've been given over to this reprobate mind, okay? So their mind is changed in a certain way that marks them as having been rejected by God. Now, how do they get that way? Well, the simple answer is because they have rejected God, so the Lord has rejected them, okay? And I'll get to that a little bit later, the fact that there's many different places in the New Testament that talk about this, and I'll give a few examples of how somebody can become a reprobate in the New Testament as well. But in verse 18, at first it talks about the wrath of God revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness. So we're talking here about people who have the truth. These are not people who don't know the truth. These are not people who don't know what the Bible says. It even says in verse 19, "...because that which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it unto them." So these people who eventually become reprobates, who are given over to the reprobate mind, the Bible says God has shown the truth unto them, okay? That which may be known of God is manifest in them. So that which you can know about God, which is contained in the Bible, that has been preached unto them. That has been shown unto them. It's revealed unto them. These people aren't just ignorant. These people aren't just your ordinary, unsaved, ignorant person. These people have known the truth. But it says in verse 21, "...when they knew God..." So again, they know God. It's not that they're just ignorant. "...they know God, but they glorified Him not as God. Neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like the corruptible man, into birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things." So the Bible says right here that these people, they knew God. They knew the truth. The truth of God had been manifest unto them. But they willingly chose not to glorify God. They willingly decided to turn the truth of God into a lie. As it says in verse 25, "...they changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator." Now again, these aren't just people who happen to worship idols because this is something that they were born into. These are people who knew the truth, but willingly turned away from the true God, who willingly turned away from the truth, and decided to invent all these idols and invent all these false religions and worship the creature rather than the Creator. These are people who willingly turned from God. So it says, For this cause, God gave them up unto vile affections, verse 26. In verse 24, it says God gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts. And then in verse 28, it says God gave them over to a reprobate mind. So God gave them up, God gave them up, and then God gave them over in verse 28. Because they had known the truth, God had shown it unto them, they willingly turned from that truth and they changed it into a lie. And as it says in verse 28, they did not want to retain God in their knowledge. So again, these are not just your ordinary unsaved people. There's a lot of unsaved people out there who still believe in the true God, or who at least will claim to believe the Bible, or have some Christian background or something like that, or who might even not be even a claimed Christian, like they might be a Muslim, or they might be a Buddhist, or they might be a Hindu, or of whatever background, but these people don't hate the true God. They don't not want to retain Him in their knowledge. There's a lot of people out there like that. But reprobates are those who have known the true God, who know about the true God, who have the truth, but they hold it in unrighteousness and change the truth into a lie, who don't want to even think about the true God, who don't want to retain Him in their knowledge. Those are the people who God gives over to a reprobate mind. So we're not just talking about ordinary unsaved people here. We're talking about people who hate the true God, as it even says in verse 30, that one of the characteristics of these reprobates is that they are haters of God. These are not just people who don't know about God, or who people who just aren't sure, or who are kind of neutral. These are people who hate God, who don't want to even think about Him. That's what reprobates are. Okay, how this concept is taught in multiple places in the Bible, and I'll go back to Romans chapter 1. So if you want to, if anybody's following along in their Bibles, hold your place in Romans chapter 1. But another important passage that talks about this is Hebrews chapter 6. And we'll see in Hebrews chapter 6 that the result of somebody becoming a reprobate that they've been given up, given up, and given over by God means that they will never be saved. Okay, and a lot of people don't like this idea, but the fact of the matter is, the Bible teaches multiple times that there are a lot of people who, they've been given the chances. They could have gotten saved, but they decided to reject God. They decided to reject the truth, and they've been given over to this reprobate mind. So in Hebrews chapter 6, it also explains this doctrine about people who can never again be renewed onto repentance. It says in Hebrews chapter 6, verse 4, I'll pay attention to the details here, and we'll see also in some of the verses here that this is comparable to Romans chapter 1 and some of the other passages we'll look at, but it says in verse 4 of Hebrews chapter 6, For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance, seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain, that cometh oft upon it, I bringeth forth herbs, meat for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God, but that which beareth thorns and briars is rejected and is nigh unto cursing, whose end is to be burned. So the Bible speaks about these people who they've tasted of the heavenly gift, they've tasted of the good word of God, they've tasted of the powers of the world to come, they've been enlightened, meaning that the truth has been made known unto them, just like in Romans chapter 1. So they have had the truth revealed unto them. They know all the things about the Bible and the Gospel and the true God. These things have been shown unto them, but it says if they fall away from that, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance. So again, this isn't just talking about your average unsaved person who is just ignorant of the truth. This is talking about somebody who knows the true God, who has heard the Gospel, but who willingly turns from that and rejects that. That person, once they know the truth, and they decide willingly to reject that, that person, according to the Bible, it is impossible, according to verse 4 and verse 6, it's impossible of those who were once enlightened, if they should fall away, to renew them again unto repentance. Now, verse 8 is another key verse here to understand what this is talking about, where it says, But that which beareth thorns and briars is rejected. Okay, now thorns and briars, interestingly, those are the things that Jesus says false prophets bring forth in Matthew chapter 7, when he talks about the good trees and the corrupt trees and how the good trees will not bear good fruit. Okay, so he also uses the word here in verse 8, rejected. Again, remember, the word reprobate means rejected, according to Jeremiah chapter 6 and verse 30. That reprobate silver shall men call them, for the Lord hath rejected them. So, we're talking about people who are reprobates in this chapter, those who have been rejected by the Lord, and it says they're not unto cursing, and their end is to be burned, meaning the end, the result of what they have done in rejecting the Lord, and now they've been blinded, and now they will never bear good fruit. They will only bear these thorns and briars. The Bible says that their end is to be burned. Okay, that is their result. That is what they're leading into. Okay, they're not going to be saved, because it says that it's impossible for them to be renewed again unto repentance in verse 6. Another important passage on this subject is 2 Peter chapter 2, which the main chapter is all about false prophets. If you read the whole chapter, it starts off in verse 1 saying, But there are false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, which privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destructions. So, the context of this chapter is talking about false prophets. But at the end of the chapter, it says, also of these same false prophets, For if they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome. The latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it has happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog has returned to his own vomit again, and the sow that washed to her wallowing in the mire. Okay, so, it's talking about the false prophets who have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now, knowledge is not what saves us. Faith is what saves us. Now, notice how it says that the world overcomes them. Now, the Bible teaches in 1 John 5 that if we believe on Jesus Christ, we have overcome the world. So, these people did not believe. Now, they have the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They have the knowledge of the truth. They have the knowledge of the way of righteousness, as it says in verse 21. But these people did not overcome the world by faith. The world overcame them, and it says that they turned from the holy commandment delivered unto them, which I believe is the command in 1 John 3.23 where it says this is the command that he has commanded us that we should believe on a son, Jesus Christ. Okay, that's the command. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. But they have turned away from that. They've known the truth. They've known the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but they turn away from that, and the Bible says here that their end is worse than if they were to have not known the way of righteousness. So, the destruction that will come upon these reprobates, these people who hate God, these people who don't want to retain God and their knowledge, their destruction is going to be worse than just your average, unsaved person out there who's just ignorant of the truth. Now, it teaches this also in 2 Thessalonians 2, which will be a good segue into the different types of, the different things that somebody could do to cause them to become a reprobate. Because 2 Thessalonians 2, the context is talking about the man of sin, the beast, the antichrist. And it says in verse, I'm going to start in verse 9, Even him, the him is the wicked one that shall be revealed, talking about the man of sin, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. So again, this is 2 Thessalonians 2 and verse 9. It says in verse 10, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness and men that perish, because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, that they all might be damned who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Now, there's so many different things we can get from these verses here, but first we see that in verse 10, they received not the love of the truth. So they had the truth, but they did not love the truth that they might be saved. Okay, so, and then it says in verse 12, that they believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. So because they didn't want to admit that they were wrong, because they hated God, because they had pleasure in unrighteousness, they didn't want to receive the truth of the gospel. And so it says in verse 11, for this cause God shall send them strong delusion. Now, keep that in mind, because I'm going to explain later that it's God that rejects these people and He blinds them so that they cannot believe, so that they cannot be saved. It says here that God is the one that sends them strong delusion. God is the one that blinds them, that they should believe a lie, that they all might be damned. So no, God doesn't just give infinite chances to everybody. There's certain people who God is done with, who once they've rejected Him, once they have had the opportunity to believe the truth, but they hate the truth, they had pleasure in unrighteousness, they did not believe it, God gave them up to the reprobate mind and He sent them that strong delusion that they might be damned. That is their goal, that according to, remember Hebrews chapter 6, that they're rejected, talking about rejected by the Lord, and it says that their end is to be burned. That is their end to be burned, to be damned, to go to hell. They've had their chance to be saved, but they did not receive the love of the truth. It's not about the sins that they've committed, but the fact that they've rejected the Lord, that they've decided that they didn't want to receive the gospel, they hated the truth, they hated the true God, they didn't want to retain their knowledge, and so God blinded them. Now, I want to give a few examples of how somebody can become a reprobate and different ways in the Bible of how people could reject the truth. And there's three examples I want to give, and these three examples are things that a lot of people would agree on, but for some reason, when you start using the word reprobate, then all of a sudden people will attack the doctrine, even though it's basically the same thing that a lot of people believe. And I must start with turning to Revelation chapter 14 because that pertains to the same subject that's spoken of in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, the strong delusion it speaks about is the strong delusion of worshipping the beast, because remember, the context is about the man of sin, about the antichrist. So they didn't want to be saved, they did not receive the love of the truth, they did not believe the truth, so God gave them strong delusion that they should believe a lie, that they might be damned. Now, why are they going to surely be damned? It says in Revelation chapter 14, this is one of the ways somebody can become a reprobate, Revelation chapter 14 and verse 9, So the Bible teaches that these people who worship the beast and his image and then receive his mark, that they will surely be damned, that they will face this wrath of God and the smoke of their torment will ascend forever and ever in the lake of fire. So the Bible promises sure damnation upon those who take the mark of the beast. Once you take the mark of the beast, there is no hope. Anybody who is unsaved, the people who will be deceived into worshipping the beast and receiving that mark are the same people spoken about in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, who receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved and are all going to be damned because God has sent them that strong delusion. It's a sure damnation. They will surely go to the lake of fire according to this passage here in Revelation chapter 14 because they received not the love of the truth and then they took the mark of the beast. Another example, another great example that I'm sure a lot of people are familiar with is the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost, which a lot of people would commonly call the... Actually, you know what? I'm going to turn there later, but since I was already in Revelation, I'll just go to the end of Revelation and give another example, and that would be in Revelation chapter 22. So in Revelation we see the mark of the beast, but then Revelation chapter 22 also talks about people surely being damned for removing from the words of the book of Revelation. It says in Revelation chapter 22 in verse 18, Revelation 22 verse 18, For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. So that's another way that somebody could become a reprobate by taking from the book of this prophecy, meaning the book of Revelation, and taking things out of that, and the Bible says that God will take away his name from the book of life and out of the holy city and from the things that are written in this book. Now, this is part of changing the truth of God into a lie as spoken about in Romans chapter 1, because, of course, the whole word of God is the truth, but even particularly the book of Revelation, you know, if they were to remove words from the book of Revelation, they're taking God's truth, they're taking the word of God, the word of truth, and they're making it into a lie by removing or adding certain things. If you remove or add certain things from God's word, then the Bible promises sure damnation upon them. In Revelation chapter 22, verse 18 and 19. Okay, so now I want to talk about the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost, as spoken of in several passages in the Gospels, but I'll just turn to the book of Matthew. Matthew chapter... Hmm, do I have the right... Oh, yeah, okay, Matthew chapter 12. Matthew chapter 12 and verse 31. It says, It says, So Jesus teaches very clearly, any other sin, any other blasphemy can be forgiven unto men, but if you speak against the Holy Ghost, if you commit blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, He says that they never have forgiveness, that it shall not be forgiven unto Him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. So once somebody blasphemes the Holy Ghost, somebody who's unsaved, that person will become a reprobate because they've been rejected by God and there's nothing they can do now to be saved. There's nothing they can do to be forgiven. Now, this is where a lot of people will make false accusations against this clear biblical doctrine of the reprobate doctrine and they'll say, Well, you believe that if somebody commits homosexuality or one of these sins that are characteristics of reprobate, then that means you're teaching that that's an unforgivable sin. Or they'll also say, Well, because you teach that certain people can never be saved, you're teaching Calvinism. You're teaching limited atonement. Okay, but that's not true either, okay? Now, let me explain what the Bible teaches on this. The Bible clearly teaches that Christ died for everybody. In Hebrews chapter 2 verse 9, it says He tasted death for every man. In 1 John chapter 2 verse 2, it says He is the propitiation not for our sins only but also for the sins of the whole world. Even in 2 Peter chapter 2, which I read from earlier in verse 1, it talks about how Christ bought those who were the false prophets that denied Him. So even the false prophets, even those who deny the Lord, it says they denied the Lord that bought them, meaning Jesus Christ had already paid the price for their sins, okay? But that doesn't mean that they're going to be saved. So, yes, Christ died for everybody, but that does not mean that everybody has infinite chances to be saved. And also, the Bible does also teach that Christ's blood is enough to forgive us of any sin. In 1 John chapter 1 verse 9, it says that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. The blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse any sin. So the reprobate doctrine is not that Jesus' blood cannot wipe away certain sins. The reprobate doctrine is not that Jesus' atonement wasn't for everybody. The reprobate doctrine is not that Jesus didn't die for everybody or that Jesus didn't die for certain sins. He did die for everybody and He died for every sin. He died for the sins of all mankind. That's a fact. That's a biblical fact. But the reprobate doctrine is that certain people who have heard the gospel and who have had the chance to be saved decided to turn against God and rejected Him, rejected the truth, who don't want to retain God or their knowledge, and so God gave them up. Not that they never had a chance to be saved, but that they willingly chose not to be saved. That they willingly chose to either blaspheme the Holy Ghost or take the mark of the beast or change the truth of God into a lie or whatever it might be in rejecting the Lord and God rejected them. That's what the reprobate doctrine is. We do not believe in limited atonement. We do not believe that Christ only died for certain people. We do not believe that Jesus' blood can't wash away certain sins, even sins like sodomy. It can wash away those sins. It can wash away the worst sins in the world. The reason why people become reprobates is not because they commit some kind of sin that's too great, that Jesus' blood can't wash it away. The reason why people become reprobates is because they rejected God and now they can no longer believe. God has rejected them. He's blinded them. So why do we say that reprobates cannot be saved? It's not because Jesus didn't die for them. Jesus did die for them and Jesus' blood can wash away any of their sins, but there is a condition to salvation, and that condition is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We all know that. The Bible teaches in Acts chapter 16 verse 31, it says, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. In Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8, it says, For by grace are ye saved through faith. If we don't have faith, then we're not going to be saved. You need to have that faith, you need to believe in Jesus Christ in order to be saved from hell. So if somebody doesn't believe according to the Bible, they are not going to be saved. As it says in John 3 36, it says, He that believeth on the Son of God hath everlasting life. He that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on it. So if somebody does not believe on the Son, Jesus Christ, the wrath of God abides on them. Reprobates are those who have not only not believed before, but who can never believe now. This isn't people who have lost their salvation because we can't lose their salvation. This isn't people who Jesus didn't die for because Jesus died for everybody. These aren't people who committed some kind of terrible sin that Jesus' blood can't wash away because Jesus' blood can wash away every sin. These are people who have rejected God and God has blinded them and given them over to a reprobate mind so that they can no longer believe, so that they do not have any more chances to be saved. Now, we already saw in Hebrews chapter 6 that it talks about how it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance. So it's not that Jesus' blood can't wash away their sins, but it's impossible to renew them again unto repentance. Repentance being the change of mind where you stop trusting in your own works and start trusting in Jesus Christ. You need to have that repentance, that change of mind where you put your faith in Jesus Christ in order to be saved. But it says in Hebrews chapter 6 that these people who have been enlightened and tasted of the Holy Ghost and the good world to come and all those things, that if they fall away from that, that it's impossible to renew them again unto repentance and they've been rejected and their end is to be burned. But then there's other scriptures that teach this very clearly too, such as 2 Timothy chapter 3 which uses the word reprobate. It says in verse... I'll just start with verse 1 and go through verse 8 and then just focus on verses 5 through 8. Let's just look at the context real quick. It says in verse 1, 2 Timothy chapter 3, This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses and leave captive silly women laden with sins, led away with diverse lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Even as Jannes and Jamborees withstood Moses, so did these also resist the truth, men of corrupt minds reprobate concerning the faith. Now notice how it says in verse 8 that these people resist the truth. Again, this is a common theme in all of these passages. It talks about people who know the truth, but who turn away from the Holy Commandment, who know the truth but change the truth into a lie, who hold the truth in unrighteousness, who do not love the truth, who do not believe the truth. And now it says here in verse 8 that they resist the truth. So again, these are not just ignorant people. They know the truth, but they resist it. They hate it. They don't receive it. This is not just ignorant, unsaved people. These are those who have had the truth of God, revealed unto them according to Romans chapter 1. And it says in verse 7 that they are ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Never able simply means it's impossible. They can't. If it says never able, that means there are certain people who no matter how much they know, it's impossible for them to come to the knowledge of the truth. You can teach them and they can learn and you can explain the Bible to them all you want, but they can never come to the knowledge of the truth. They've been blinded by God. They have been given over to this corrupt mind, reprobate concerning the faith, as it says in verse 8. Now it also talks about in Titus chapter 1, it says that their mind and conscience is defiled in verse 15. Titus chapter 1 verse 15. Unto the pure all things are pure, but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure, but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient unto every good work reprobate. So again, these people who are called reprobates, their mind is defiled, their conscience is defiled, they are abominable, they're disobedient, they're reprobating in everything that they do. That's what the Bible says about these people. They are very wicked. They are people who have a corrupted mind, who are never able to come to the knowledge of truth. It's impossible to renew them again unto repentance. God has set them the strong delusion that they all might be damned. That is why Jesus said, of those who blaspheme the Holy Ghost, that they never have forgiveness. Now, again, pay attention here, because a lot of people misunderstand this doctrine and are willingly ignorant of this doctrine because they just don't want to listen. The Bible teaches that those who blaspheme the Holy Ghost never have forgiveness, that there is not forgiveness in this world, neither the world to come. That's what Jesus said. He said that in Matthew chapter 12, and I believe Mark chapter 3 as well, and I think also in the book of Luke, I'm not sure which chapter, but Jesus said it in at least three of the Gospels, that those who blaspheme the Holy Ghost will not be forgiven. Now, the Bible also teaches that Jesus' blood can cleanse us from all sin, and we can be forgiven of all our sins. So, what does that mean? Does it mean that Jesus' blood cannot cleanse the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost? No, that's not what it's teaching. But rather, that there is a condition of salvation, and that condition is faith, and there are certain people who will never believe and cannot believe. It is impossible for them to believe. It is impossible for them to come to repentance, Hebrews chapter 6. That is a reprobate. So, just stop and think about this. The Bible tells us that they know the truth. The Bible tells us that they have the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that they've tasted of the good world to come. They've tasted of all those things, and they've been enlightened, it says in Hebrews chapter 6. The Bible tells us that they have the truth, but they resist the truth. They change the truth of God into a lie. They worship and serve the creature more than the Creator. They are not thankful to God. They hold the truth in unrighteousness. They do not love the truth. They do not believe the truth. So, we're not talking about people who get saved. We're talking about unsaved people who have heard the gospel, who have heard about the true God, who know the truth, but who hate the truth, reject it, resist it. And God gives them over to a reprobate mind. And because God has given them over to this reprobate mind, which is equivalent to him blinding them or sending them strong delusion, the Bible teaches that they cannot believe. They cannot be renewed to repentance. Now, what that means is that they can't be saved, because you have to believe in order to be saved. It's not that they committed some kind of terrible sin that God could never forgive. It's that they have been blinded by God so that they cannot believe. That is the reprobate doctrine. Now, I'm sure there's still going to be some people out there who watch this, who just hate, who just don't want to listen to what the Bible says, and who are still going to say, Wow, I believe that everybody has infinite chances. How can you say that these people can never be saved? Because the Bible tells us that there are certain people who God sends strong delusion that they might be damned. Yes, God wants everybody to be saved. 2 Peter 3.9, He's not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But that is not something that is eternal. He doesn't just give people infinite chances. There are certain people who, once they have rejected God, He rejects them that they might be damned. It is too late for them. They have crossed over that line. Jesus died for their sins. They had the chance to be saved. They didn't want to be saved. They hate God. They rejected God, so God rejected them. That's the reprobate doctrine. Now, it teaches us also in John chapter 12 that there are certain people who, once they've received the truth, but they've rejected the truth that they cannot believe. John chapter 12, I want to start with verse 35. John chapter 12 and verse 35. Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you. For he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. Okay, so I'm going to stop right there for a second. Jesus is speaking about the light, and He says, we know that the light He's referring to here is Himself, because He said in John chapter 8 and verse 12, I am the light of the world. And He said also in John chapter 9, I believe, John chapter 9 and verse 5, as long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. So Jesus is the light. John chapter 1 teaches that as well, that in Him was life, and the life was the light of man, and the light shineth in the darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not. And there was a man sent from God, his name was John. The same came for a witness to bear witness of that light. And it says that was the true light, that lighteth every man that cometh into the world. Okay, so that's talking about Jesus. So Jesus is the light of the world. And He says, while ye have that light, which is Jesus, believe in the light. So He's telling you, once Jesus is revealed unto you, believe in the light that ye may be the children of light, because of course once we believe, we become the children of God. But He says, in verse 35 as well, walk while ye have the light. So the truth has been shown unto you, the light is revealed, lest darkness come upon you, for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. So He's warning them, if you do not believe this light, that ye may be the children of light, then darkness will come upon you. And we see that in the next few verses. It says in verse 37, But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him. So He's saying, you need to believe in the light. They did not believe. They had seen what Jesus had done. They had Jesus revealed unto them. It was clear unto them that Jesus was the Son of God, that Jesus was who He said He was, but they did not believe. They refused to believe. And it says in verse 38, That the saying of Ahziah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed, I report, and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed. Therefore they could not believe, because that Ahziah said again. So why is it that they could not believe? So first we saw in verse 37, Now in verse 39 it says that they could not believe. Why? Because, that Ahziah said again, So why can they not believe? Because God is the one that has blinded their eyes, hardened their heart that they should not see nor understand, and be converted and I should heal them. So God does not give people infinite chances. God does blind certain people and hardens the heart of certain people so that they could not believe, because it says, Lest they should be converted and I should heal them. God doesn't want these people to be converted. They got their chance, but it's too late for them. This is the reprobate doctrine, that people who have had the truth revealed unto them, the light has been shown unto them, they chose not to believe, they rejected it, they rejected the truth, God blinded them, lest they should be converted and God should heal them. They had their chance, the reprobates had their chance. It's too late for them. So, now that I've explained what reprobates are, you might be wondering, well, where does sodomites come into this? Because, a lot of people will understand that sodomites, according to the Bible, are reprobates, and me and my pastor and several other believers teach and believe strongly that the sodomites, or in other words, homosexuals, are reprobates. Now, people, again, will misunderstand this and say, well, you're saying that homosexuality is an unforgivable sin. No, I do not believe that. And neither does my pastor and neither do other new IFB pastors and neither do other Christians who believe similarly, who believe the reprobate doctrine. Now, of course, there might be some guy out there who misunderstands it and believes that homosexuality is an unforgivable sin, but that's not what the Bible teaches. These people do not become reprobates because they committed sodomy. They become sodomites because they're reprobates. It's the other way around. They have it backwards. The reason why people are reprobates is because they've hated the truth and they've rejected God and they've rejected His word, and so God has rejected them and He's blinded them that they should not be saved, and He's given them over to that reprobate or rejected mind. And one of the results of that is that they are filled with all kinds of sins. That's taught in Romans chapter 1. So go back to Romans chapter 1 if you have that with you. It says in verse 29 that they are filled with all unrighteousness, and it lists a whole bunch of sins, but if we go back to verse 26 and 27, it specifically singles out the sin of sodomy or being a homosexual. It says in verse 26, For this cause, so that would be in the context that they have changed the truth of God into a lie. They were not thankful to God. They changed the glory of God into an image made of the corruptible man. They became a man of their imaginations, etc. They rejected the truth of God. For that cause, for what they have done, God gave them up unto vile affections. And that's equivalent in verse 28 with them being given over to a reprobate mind. Because it talks about God giving them up, God giving them up, and God giving them over. So because of these things, because they have rejected God, they've also been given up to these vile affections. Now, vile means filthy, vile means disgusting. And it says that, it specifies what it's talking about here. It says, For even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature, and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves the recompense of their error, which was me. So it specifies here, if it wasn't clear, it's talking about men who are lusting, burning in lust toward another. So men with men working that which is unseemly. That would be sodomites, homos, faggots, queers, whatever you might call them. These are reprobates according to the Bible. How did they get that way? Now, normal people don't have a temptation to do such a wicked and disgusting thing. Now, normal people, because we have a sin nature, they're tempted to do all kinds of other sins. Normal males are tempted with lust after women. Normal males are tempted with adultery, and with fornication, and with those kinds of things. Yes, that's wicked, but normal people, even with our sin nature, are not tempted to commit homosexuality or sodomy. Even us in our sinful, fallen nature, in our flesh, do not desire to do that. So why are there some people who have a desire to do that? Because they have been given over to their reprobate mind or to their vile, their filthy, their disgusting affections. So that is one of the characteristics of being a reprobate, of becoming a sodomite. Now, the Bible says nothing good about sodomites. The Bible never has an example of a sodomite being saved. The Bible never has an example of a sodomite turning to God or changing their life. The only time the Bible ever talks about sodomites, you have God raining down. The first example is in Genesis chapter 9, when the first person who ever committed sodomy, Ham, his lineage is cursed by Noah forever. Then you got in Sodom and Gomorrah, where God rains fire and brimstone down from heaven and destroys the entire city and turns it into complete ash. And it's constantly used in the Bible as an example. It says in Jude chapter, or Jude verse 7, that even as Sodom and Gomorrah and cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh, are given forth or an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. So the Bible tells us that Sodom is an example of the vengeance of God, of eternal fire. Now, it also says in Leviticus chapter 18 that that sin is an abomination. It says in Leviticus 2013 that they are worthy of death. Their blood should be upon them. It talks about also in Leviticus 18 that that was one of the sins that caused the Canaanites to be vomited out of the land. In Judges chapter 19, it calls them the sons of Belial. Belial is a name in the Bible for the devil. So they are called the children of the devil, these Sodomites. So again, people don't become, or people don't just commit sodomy just for no reason. The reason why people are actually lusting their hearts after other men is because they have hated God and they've been given over to a reprobate mind. So it's not that they committed that sin and they became reprobates. They became reprobates and the result of that is that they became sodomites. That's why there's so few sodomites in the world. That's why it's not a common sin. That's why it's only like 4% of the population. Of course, it's getting higher and higher as we go on because we're living in such an ungodly society that hates God. But these people became sodomites because they rejected the Lord and they hated the truth and they resisted that. Not because, well, they just were born that way or they chose to be that way and then they can still be saved and they still love God or whatever. That thing doesn't exist and it's never spoken of in the Bible. Now, I would like to point out that somebody can commit the sin of sodomy and not be a reprobate. For example, somebody who's under the influence of drugs or alcohol can commit those sins. Somebody who is involved in another sin like greed. The Bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. If they're greedy, they could become a male prostitute or something like that. They could end up committing the sin of sodomy but not actually have a burning desire in their heart to do that. What the Bible talks about here is those men who actually burn in their lusts one toward another. These are people who actually have a desire to commit these sins, who actually covet other men. That disgusting act that normal people would never think about. But people can still fall into that sin, people can still commit that and that doesn't make them a reprobate. And a lot of people will attack us and say, well, if you believe that anybody who claims to be gay or anybody who claims to be a homo or whatever that they can never be saved, that's not true. Because a lot of people will say, because of this wicked society, that they're gay or whatever, but that doesn't necessarily make them a sodomite. Because there's people who are just brainwashed by our culture, people who just think it's cool, people who might be a little bit effeminate and everybody's telling them that they're gay and they think that they are, but people who just experiment with it, people who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol or who are greedy for money or something like that, that doesn't necessarily make them a full-blown reprobate sodomite. But somebody who actually has that desire, somebody who actually lusts in their heart after another man, that person is only like that because they've rejected God, according to Romans chapter 1. Now what are some other characteristics of reprobates? Well, it's not just that, it's all kinds of other sins as well. That's just something that the Bible singles out there in verses 26 and 27. But it also says in verse 29 that they are filled with all unrighteousness. Now, all isn't a difficult word to understand. All means all. If it says all unrighteousness, that doesn't mean that these people are just like you and me where we commit sins, but we don't commit every sin in the book, do we? It says all unrighteousness, and then it lists some. Fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful. Now, the thing is, if we're honest, you and I have committed some of the sins on this list. You know, disobedient to parents, proud, deceit, you know, we've lied, we've had pride before in our life, things like that. But these reprobates, they do all of these things. And it doesn't just say that they do these things, it says that they're filled with it. Notice how it says full of envy, full of murder, debate, deceit, malignity. So these people, they're liars, they're malicious, they're fornicators, they're sodomites, they're backbiters, meaning they talk about people behind their back, they hate God, they're despiteful, meaning that they're just full of hate, they're proud, you know, they boast, they invent evil things, so wicked things come out of their own heart, they disobey their parents, they don't understand things, they break their covenants, they break their truces, they're without natural affection, the natural love that they have for whatever, it might be their kids or their family or whoever, they don't have that natural love, they're implacable, meaning you can't satisfy them, they're unmerciful, they don't show mercy, these people are wicked, these are not just your ordinary unsaved people, these are extremely wicked people. Now, 2 Timothy, which I read earlier, also has a list of some of the sins that these reprobates commit. Now, some of these things are basically the same that are listed in Romans 1, but it says, their lovers are their own selves, now that sounds a lot like sodomites, covetous, bolsters, proud, which by the way, proud, again, sounds a lot like sodomites, they even have their pride parades or whatever, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, so they hate, you know, Christians, they hate good people, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, and it says from such, turn away. You know, these holier-than-thou types will say, well, I'll never turn away from certain people, I'll give everybody infinite chances, well, the Bible says to turn away from certain people, the Bible says that you should turn away from these people, the Bible says that they can never come to the knowledge of truth, so who are you to say, well, I can teach them to a point where they can come to the knowledge of the truth? No, you can't, it's not possible, according to verse 7. Now, 2 Peter chapter 2, again, talks about these reprobates, these, including, or more particularly, false prophets, because most false prophets, most false teachers are reprobates, as taught in 2 Peter chapter 2 and Jude chapter 1, and 2 Peter chapter 2 says in verse 14, Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin, beguiling unstable souls, and heart that is exercised with covetous practices, cursed children, which have forsaken the right way and have gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness, but was rebuked for his iniquity, the dumb-ass speaking with man's voice forbade the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest, to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever. And it says in the book of Jude, which is very similar to 2 Peter chapter 2, it says in verse 8, Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Again, it calls them filthy, just as it does in Romans chapter 1 where it says that they're vile. In verse 10 it says that, But these speak evil of those things which they know not, but what they know naturally as brute beasts, or in other words, a stupid animal, in those things they corrupt themselves. It says, Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Cori. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear, clouds are they without water, carried about of winds, trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots. Now what does it mean when it says twice dead? Now I believe that that means that they're as good as on their way to the lake of fire already, because remember, the lake of fire is the second death according to Revelation. Okay, before we get saved, we're already dead once. We've already died under trespasses and sins if somebody's unsaved. But these people aren't just, don't just die once, they're twice dead according to the Bible. It says, Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame, wondering stars to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. So God has a place prepared for these wicked people, and that is the blackness of darkness forever. And I even skipped over a very important verse in the book of Jude which also has to do with this, where it says that there are certain men, corrupt and unawares, who are before of old, ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. So these false prophets who creep in, who are reprobates, the Bible teaches that they are ordained to condemnation, just as it says in verse 13 that they are reserved for the blackness of darkness forever. So, yeah, this idea that there's people who just have infinite chances, or that everybody has infinite chances that God will never reject or hate anybody, that's a false doctrine because we see in Romans, we see in Hebrews, we see in 2 Peter, we see in Jude that there's a lot of people who hate God, who deny the Lord God, who resisted the truth, and the Bible says that they are reserved for the blackness of darkness forever. The Bible says they cannot cease from sin. It says they're filled with all unrighteousness. It says they're ordained to this condemnation. So the Bible has very strong language about these people. These are not just your ordinary, unsaved, lost sinner in the world. These are people who hate God, and God has given them over to reprobate mine because of that. Now, there are some examples of reprobates in the Bible as well, and I'll just touch on these briefly because I'll just do a little bit more of this, but I'll just touch on this briefly because there's another subject I want to focus on towards the end of this as well. And there's two examples of reprobates in the Bible I can think of, specifically people that are named. The first one is the Pharaoh of Egypt during the time of Moses. Now, the Pharaoh of Egypt, first it talks about him hardening his own heart, such as in Exodus chapter 8, I believe. I don't have these verses written down, but I know it's somewhere around here. Okay, I'm sure there's another example before this, but Exodus chapter 8 verse 15, But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart and hearkened not unto them, as the Lord had said. And again it says in verse 32 of Exodus 8, it says, Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go. Exodus chapter 9 and verse 7, it says, And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go. But in verse 12, there's a noticeable change where now it starts saying, And the Lord hardened the heart of the Pharaoh, and hearkened not unto them. And then it says again, later, I know there's another time, let me find it, sorry about the wait here. Exodus chapter 10 verse 20, it says, Now there's more examples because there's the 10 plagues, and then there's another time later in Exodus 14, I believe, when he's led out to chase the children of Israel to the edge of the Red Sea. First it talks about how the Pharaoh hardened his own heart, or his heart was hardened. Then it starts saying that the Lord hardened his heart. Now, that's because the Pharaoh first rejected God, and then God rejected him. It also talks about in 1 Samuel chapter 25, Nabal says he was the son of Belial, which again means a child of the devil, which is a name given to the Sodomites in Judges chapter 19, but it also says in 1 Samuel chapter 25 in verse 17, I believe this is Abigail speaking to David about her husband Nabal. She says, So what I believe that means is that she's saying that he is such a son of Belial, meaning son of the devil, that you cannot convince him of anything. Just like in 2 Timothy chapter 3 where it says that they're ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. You can't change their mind. You can't renew them again unto repentance. You can't change them. It's impossible. So those are two particular examples of reprobates in the Bible. But, oh man, my throat's starting to hurt. But the last thing I want to touch on real quick is just the subject. This isn't really 100% exactly about reprobates, but just about the subject of hate. Because a lot of people think that God loves everybody and therefore he will give everybody infinite chances. But the Bible does not teach that at all. The Bible talks many different times about God hating wicked people. And I'm not going to be able to go through all the examples today, but even just one verse or two verses should be enough to convince people if they actually believe the Bible. So if you believe the Bible, then open up your Bible to Psalm chapter 5 and read verse 5 and verse 6 where it says, The foolish shall not stand in thy sight. Thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing. The Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. So back to back, two verses we have. First it says of God that he hates all workers of iniquity. Now it does not say he just hates iniquity, it says he hates the workers of iniquity. Like Jesus says to those on the last day, he says, Depart from ye that work iniquity. And I think the parallel passage in Luke, he actually calls them workers of iniquity. Let me look that up real quick, just to make sure. Let me get the scripture reference. Luke chapter 13 verse 27. But he shall say, I tell you, I know ye not once ye are, depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. So those people that Jesus says that to on the last day, those people who are sentenced to eternal damnation, Jesus says that they are workers of iniquity and it says in Psalm chapter 5 that God hates all workers of iniquity. So that should be difficult to figure out considering he's sending them to burn in hell forever. Now it's a foolish thing to say that God loves people who he's going to throw into the lake of fire to burn forever. Now he did love the world according to John 3 16, but that's past tense. God loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. It talks about in 1 John chapter 4 that the love that God has is that he gave himself for the propitiation for our sins. God's love is that he sent his son to die on the cross to save us. That's his love, but not everybody is going to be saved. Not everybody is going to receive the truth. Not everybody is going to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. So yeah God loved them, yeah he gave them a chance, yeah he wanted them to be saved, but God's love does not mean that he just unconditionally loves everybody no matter what, no matter whether they hate him or love him, whether they believe on him or don't. No, he hates all workers of iniquity and it says he abhors the bloody and deceitful man, which is the reprobate, because remember the reprobate is filled with all unrighteousness. Romans chapter 1 that includes murder and maliciousness and it even says deceit as well. So the Lord abhors the reprobate, the Lord abhors, he hates the sodomite, which is a reprobate. Again, Psalm chapter 10 verse 3. For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth. The word abhorreth means to hate. Again, Psalm chapter 11 verse 5. The Lord trieth the righteous, but the wicked and him that loveth violence, his soul hateth. So the soul of the Lord God hates the person who loves violence, which would include the reprobate. Okay, Proverbs chapter 6. I'm sure a lot of people know of this one where it says, These six things doth the Lord hate, yea, seven are abomination unto him. And it says, notice a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, and heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief. Now they'll say, well those aren't people, those are just sins. Well it says in verse 19, Proverbs 6 verse 19, A false witness, that's a person that speaketh lies, and he, again that's a person, that soweth discord among brethren. So, some of the things that God hates includes the sinner, not just the sin. The people that tell you that God only hates sin and never hates the sinner are lying to you. That's not in the Bible. The Bible says in Proverbs 21, 15, that destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. The only thing that's coming upon these wicked people is destruction. God hates them. God's going to damn them. Remember in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, it teaches very clearly that God is the one that sends them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie. Now why would God do that? Why would God blind them in John chapter 12? That they should not be converted and that He should heal them. Why would He cause them to not understand and to not listen and to not see? Why would He bring them that strong delusion that they should not believe, that they might be damned? Why would He damn certain people and people and never give them a chance? Why would He take their name out of the book of life for changing the truth of God into a lie? Because He doesn't give you infinite chances. If you're not saved, you need to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before it's too late. And this doctrine is important for several reasons. Because it helps us to stay away from extremely wicked people and not waste our efforts on people who will never listen and who hate God. Number two, it teaches us the truth about what the Bible says about how God hates certain people and that there are certain people who we should just stay away from and are just wicked and want to hurt us and who want to hurt our children and who want to hurt innocent people. And then another thing is that it helps us to spend our efforts actually preaching the gospel to people who want to hear and who want to listen and not just give people infinite chances and think we're better than God and just giving people infinite chances because God doesn't give people infinite chances. That's what the Word of God teaches. This isn't clear. I don't know how much clearer it can get. There's been how many verses and passages I read, like 20, 30, something like that. I mean, they're pretty clear. If the Bible says it's impossible to renew them again in repentance, that they could not believe because God has blinded them, if it says they never have forgiveness, if it talks about people who are twice dead, who are reserved to darkness forever, who are ordained to condemnation, whose mind and conscience is defiled, it's pretty clear who can never be able to come to the knowledge of the truth. It says we're supposed to turn away from them. It says that they're of corrupt minds. It says they're reprobate, meaning they're rejected by God. How much clearer does it have to be before you actually have to believe the Bible? So thank you everybody for watching. God bless you and goodbye. God bless you.
