(Disclaimer: This transcript is auto-generated and may contain mistakes.) Hello everybody, it's me it's tall23 back in the video. In this video I'm going to be talking about false doctrines in Christian music and by that I'm not referring to actual good hymns and psalms and traditional music but things like contemporary Christian music which have become increasingly popular. The focus of this video is on heretics who make supposedly Christian music that's popular nowadays. And unfortunately I know some people and I've heard of some people who are actually good Christians but who listen to these songs by supposedly Christian artists which teach false doctrines contrary to the message of Scripture. And that's bad because a lot of gullible people out there listen to stuff thinking that it's better than the music of the world when in reality it isn't or it's even worse. I'll be going through a few examples today. Now the criteria for each of these songs or artists that I'm going to be talking about which I look at is that they identify as a Christian artist. Okay so that would include Christian contemporary, Christian rock, Christian pop, all that or whatever but if they're simply just a secular artist who happens to be a Christian in faith but who doesn't identify as a Christian music maker or who occasionally mentions God or Jesus that doesn't count. I'm referring to people who are actually making supposedly Christian music. Now I'm not going to go through a lot in this video because there are so many different artists out there and if I really just went through them all this would be like a whole documentary this would be like an hour and a half but I'm not trying to talk about every single one this is just to kind of go through it a little bit just probably just a few artists to make a point that the CCM artists out there are sellouts who care more about money and who care more about pleasing people and fame than actually singing for God and preaching the Word of God in their songs. And one of these false doctrines which you will see a lot in contemporary Christian music is ecumenicalism which contradicts the clear teaching of 2nd Corinthians chapter 6 verse 14 to 17 which is that we should separate ourselves from unbelievers. For example the popular artist Bill Gaither said in his autobiography which is called It's More Than Music he said that his performances crumble the walls of denominations and bring people from all the denominations together including Catholics, Presbyterians, Pentecostals, Baptists, etc. together to worship and Bill Gaither also published a hymnal called Hymns for the Family of God which includes songs by Catholics and Orthodox Christians. Now another ecumenical Christian musician is Chris Tomlin who is another popular CCM artist who performed at a so-called worship night with other singers who were Roman Catholics and from another group which is called Jesus Culture which preaches a false prosperity gospel message and they're related to another group another big one called Bethel Music so they're associated. Bethel Music is a large contemporary Christian worship group which is based out of a church called Bethel Church which is a false heretical church. First of all the Bethel Church is a Pentecostal Church so there are those kind of people who believe you can lose your salvation and who roll around on the floor and speak gibberish and call that the Holy Spirit. The Bethel Church is led by Bill Johnson who is a father of one of Bethel's singers Brian Johnson who teaches that Jesus lost his divinity when he came to earth so that's what Bill Johnson teaches he teaches that Jesus was God in heaven and when he came down you know God is manifest in the flesh he thinks that he wasn't God while he was on earth and he regained his divinity when he went back to heaven. Bill Johnson also teaches that the goal of Jesus was to give us revival by teaching and using practicing signs and wonders and he says that this is the gospel he teaches that the reason for Jesus's incarnation was so that we can do miracles and things like that but that's not the gospel whatsoever the gospel is the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life that's what the Bible clearly teaches in 1st Corinthians 15 and all throughout the New Testament and one of the singers for Bethel music is Stephanie Gretzinger who sang in the song called Pieces your love is proud to be seen with me which is directed at God in the song so this person miss Gretzinger is saying that God is proud first of all that's wrong because pride is a sin and she's also glorifying herself as well saying oh he's proud to be sent seen with me now there's also a song called send the rain by a group called the Ross Chester's which is another gospel music group which preaches the doctrine of ladder rain of Pentecostalism the lyrics say send the rain send the fire send the wind send the Holy Ghost in power send the rain we're ready for revival Lord we're ready to walk through that door ready Lord oh let it pour which is the same language that's used to teach the Pentecostal doctrine that the Holy Ghost will come in the latter days to give us some kind of special revival and that was that originated in the early 1900s which was the beginning of the Pentecostal movement and there's also another person named Kerry Jobe who is first of all a woman pastor which is a big red flag to show that that you shouldn't trust people like this because that's clearly forbidden the Bible in 1st Corinthians 14 34 and 1st Timothy 2 where it says that a woman should not speak a church and this person Kerry Joe preaches the doctrine that Jesus went to hell to fight and defeat Satan in the song called forever and then there's also a Hillsong which is a big one you know they're probably the most famous Christian pop Christian rock group out there which exists and is based out of a church I was originally found in Australia but they have churches all over the world and I don't know exactly how many records they've sold but it's well into the millions they've sold a lot of albums and a lot of people fall for this and think they're actually true Christians because they're the far they're the most in by far the most influential of all of these Christian contemporary artists and by far also probably the worst Hillsong is a group founded again out of a Pentecostal Church which I guess shows a pattern here that most of these Christian contemporary artists are Pentecostals so that should again raise a red flag which teaches a prosperity gospel and also ecumenicalism one of these singers of Hillsong is a woman named Darlene Czech and the first obvious sign that again they're false prophets is that Czech is a worship pastor this woman despite the fact that Bible teaches that women shouldn't stay silent in church she also wrote a song called you shine which says on the album cover that it's unifying churches to worship God so again ecumenicalism their goal is to bring everybody together this is part of the movement toward a one-world religion it's Antichrist in 2004 Czech interviewed a in a Christianity Today which is a Christian magazine and said I've been in the Catholic Church and in the United Church the Anglican Church and in many other churches and when worship is offered in truth this sound emerges regardless of the style it's the sound of the human heart connecting with its maker which again the Catholic Church Anglican Church United I'm guessing that's talking about the United Methodist Church all of these groups are false heretical teachers who preach a false gospel and this person is trying to bring all that together along with the other people in Hillsong well they also preach a false gospel themselves in two different ways actually they contradict themselves one way is that they say that you all you need to do is pray a prayer to be saved in the mighty to the mighty to be saved CD produced by Hillsong it says in the liner notes meeting God is as simple as praying a prayer which is not true because you actually have to believe praying is something that comes after you believe you need to trust in Jesus that's what the Bible teaches it says in a Romans 10 9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God if there's from the dead thou shalt be saved it's not just oh I'm gonna pray and ask God to forgive me but not actually believe it it's not as simple as just praying a prayer you actually need to trust in Jesus but then they contradict this in their statement of belief on their website which teaches a repentance of sins gospel they say in order to receive forgiveness and the new birth we must repent of our sins believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and submit to his will for our lives so they're teaching a work salvation that you actually need to do something in order to be saved instead of just believe in the Lord Jesus Christ that's one of three things that they list there they teach that you need to do that you need to submit to his will that you need to repent from your sins and that you need to believe so they're adding on to the faith aspect of salvation but what's more is that their gospel is man-centered they believe that it's all about just empowering their lives and that's another thing that they write in their and their statement of beliefs let me pull it up real quick they say that oh they say that that Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man is the only one who can reconcile us to God he lived a sinless and exemplary life died on the cross in her place and rose again to prove his victory and empower us for life now that was not the reason why Jesus died Jesus died for the atonement of our sins so that we could be given everlasting life not to just empower us and give us all this great aspect of miracles and things like that which is exactly what Bethel music and other false Christian music teachers believe as well now another thing is Carl Lentz who is the pastor for the Hillsong Church in New York he said that Joel Osteen is a good preacher which is false such again raise a red flag who paved the way for people like him and Joel Osteen again is one of those prosperity gospel teachers which Carl Lentz is himself because it's all about man for them as I said they want to just empower people that's their whole idea to just lift people up and exalt them and make them prideful and make them feel like God is just always on their side because it's all about man for them and they just think that God's just gonna give them a bunch of money and just let them do whatever they want and then the same interview I think it was on like Oprah or something I don't know Carl Lentz said that Jesus was not a moral teacher which is completely false because in Matthew chapter 5 verse 7 and 19 Jesus said think not that I'm not think not that I've come to destroy the law or the prophets I have not come to destroy but to fulfill for verily I say unto you till heaven heaven and earth pass one jot or one tittle shall no wise passing the law till all be fulfilled whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven and whosoever shall do and teach that the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven and of course Jesus constantly criticized the hypocritical morality of the Pharisees throughout his ministry so he was definitely a moral teacher I mean clearly Carl Lentz hasn't even read the Bible if he if he's actually read the Gospels that he'll know that Jesus teaches you know what to do and what not to do not only that but it says in Galatians 3 19 that the law was that the law was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator and we know that the mediator is Jesus Christ according to 1st Timothy 2 5 so the law was given by Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is God himself he was the one who as the Word of God declared the law of Moses he was the one who taught that he was the one who gave that to us you know in the book of Exodus when it says that Moses spake to God face to face and then later he couldn't speak to God that's because he couldn't see or God said in Exodus 33 20 no man can't see my face and live that was the father but earlier in the chapter he spoke directly with Jesus when it says Moses spake with him face to face so Jesus was on Mount Sinai as well giving these instructions to Moses and another problem with Hillsong is again another big red flag is that they support the sodomites in fact they had an openly faggot wedding at their church they've taken a pro sodomite position and also not only that but Carl Lentz has even defended abortion on live TV as well now all this is despite the fact that Leviticus 18 22 in Leviticus 20 13 calls homosexuality an abomination and says that they should be put to death and then of course Romans 1 teaches that there reprobates that they hate God and that they they cannot come to the knowledge of the truth but Carl Lentz and Hillsong teaches nope we can just accept all of them in so again the goal of all these contemporary Christian artists is to just bring everybody together it's moving towards the one world religion the one world government the one world morality the one world economy and just going away from the traditionalism and standing on the Word of God alone the biggest problem I think is the root of the fact or it's the root of the problem I guess would be the fact that people just don't understand the danger of these groups is that they're vague so these groups are very vague in their doctrine and that's one of the things that people don't understand that these people are dangerous that they're heretical because a lot of the lyrics don't directly say anything there's no substance to it it's just nonsense they give themselves the title of Christian music but in reality there's nothing Christian about it the lyrics for most of their songs if you just look up the lyrics for some of these groups the style just the behavior of the false prophets who put these things out is exactly like that of the world there's nothing really Christian about it there's no preaching of the true gospel there's no focus on what the Bible says it's all about people making feel good about themselves that's really the goal of this modern music the message in virtually all CCM music is just man life is tough and I really hope Jesus could help me he'll make everything better so it's basically just you know everything's so bad and then just throw the name of Jesus in there occasionally and therefore it's Christian music apparently but it's not it's so vague it's not focused on the actual message of Christianity and that's how they trick people they use their subtle little false doctrines here and there and when they draw in fans people who think it's okay and they start to influence their opinions by going on wicked talk shows and defending abortion or homosexuality or preaching a prosperity gospel or using those subtle little false doctrines in their lyrics but it's really just trash it's not actually Christian there's nothing that stands on the Word of God a lot of these people attack the Word of God and they teach false doctrine they're all false prophets they're not even saved you can't even call them Christians themselves so I don't know why you would label it as Christian music if you're going to listen to Christian music I would recommend hymns or psalms or spiritual songs as the Bible says or at least an artist or group which actually talks about right doctrine and which focuses on the Bible for example there's a group that I like called Savior Machine which is a Christian band and they put out four full albums about the book of Revelation and the end times and all throughout you can hear quotes from scripture at least half of the lyrics are directly from the Bible oh there's another song which they made which talk about false prophets misusing scripture and promoting heresies there's another song about how you should just leave vengeance to Jesus which again quotes from the Bible so that's just one example but the effeminate Pentecostal vague heretical nonsense that comes from the CCM people that you hear on the radio that's not of God that's of the world it's the same thing as the world's music it's pretty much the same it's just the the style the the actions of these people just the way they present themselves it's pretty much the same the only difference is that you will hear references to Jesus here and there throughout their lyrics and that's pretty much it there's no actual Christian substance to it so you know if you listen to this stuff Hillsong or Bethel music or the Rochester's or whoever else Chris Tomlin I would recommend throwing that stuff out or just deleting it from your playlist or whatever and just not listening to that stuff because it's it's not right it's not it's not actually Christian so thank you buddy for watching and goodbye
