Hello everyone, this is Joe and Karen Rodriguez from Phoenix, Arizona and we are here to do our third video on how to give the gospel in Spanish. Step-by-step tutorial. Alright, now again this is just a basic illustration of how to give the gospel. Very basic. Very basic. Now, in our previous video, we went over already the wages of sin and we went over the list of people that are going to hell, okay? In this video, we're going to concentrate more on the gift, the eternal gift. Also, we're going to concentrate on talking a little bit about Jesus, his life, how he was God in the flesh and how he did go to hell for three days and three nights and showing them what was the purpose of that. Alright, with that being said, let's go ahead and just get started. We're going to go ahead and concentrate on the gift of God, his eternal life. We're going to concentrate on that gift. I'm going to re-read Romano 623. Again, I'm going to concentrate on means the gift. I'm going to get to the point where I'm going to ask a question and I'm going to say, the gift of eternal life, how long does it last? You can also say regalo is a newer way to say or it's a more... Modern. This is different, modern. Don is like an older word. Yes. Don is an older word, but normally people use the word regalo. I would probably ask them, ese don, oregalo, devida antenna, cuanto dura. I'm asking the person, how long is the eternal gift? Well, most of the time you're going to get the answer, well, si es para siempre. The person is saying, well, it's forever. That's great. Sometimes a person may think you're maybe tricking them or maybe you're stumbling or you may not be able to pull that answer out and you can guide them through that, however you feel is easiest. But again, most of the time you're going to get si es para siempre, it's forever. At this point, I'm going to go over Acts 2 31. He's seen this before spank of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. So at this point, I'm explaining to the person that his soul did go to hell. However, he was perfect and that he didn't deserve to go to hell. We're going to go into later why he went into hell. I'm going to read Acts 2 31 in Spanish. So again, I'm just stressing out that his soul, su alma, no fue de jada en el infiendo. And el infiendo means hell. If you see el infiendo, think inferno. It was not left. So I'm saying his flesh also did not see corruption. Now, after reading this verse, I'm going to go into the part where that Jesus was God in the flesh. He lived a perfect life. He never sinned. However, his soul did go to hell for three days and three nights. I'm going to ask the person if God was perfect and he never sinned, why did his soul go for three days and three nights? Whose sins did Jesus go to hell for? So this was really difficult because this middle part of the presentation, I used a lot of verses. The fact that we're only doing three or four, we're trying to condense the whole message in just as little verses as possible. That's why we're choosing these verses and we're choosing Acts 2 31. It is such a great verse to illustrate a bunch of principles. So yeah, we just try to make it as condensed and simple as possible. If people have a hard time believing that Jesus was God in the flesh, then this presentation is not going to be enough. Or if people have a hard time believing that Jesus went to hell for three days and three nights, then this isn't going to be enough, this presentation. Maybe later we can do videos for those arguments, but right now this is just kind of your best case scenario. Everybody is kind of agreeing with you, but most Spanish people, except Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons, they'll agree that Jesus was God in the flesh. And even most Catholics, they do believe that Jesus went to hell for three days and three nights. It's in the Apostles Creed. So they shouldn't give you a lot of pushback on this. Okay, so what Joe just said, how you would say it in Spanish is... He never said. So you're asking them after three days and three nights, what happened? 99.9% of people will say, you know, he resurrected. Maybe a young person might not know and be like, I don't know. You know, then you just tell them, Si, el resucito. He came back from the dead. Pero una pregunta. Si, Jesus nunca peco, porque fue a el infierno. Okay, so you're asking, well, let me ask you a question. If Jesus never sinned, why did he go to hell? Now, take a little pause there. And most people look puzzled by this. You know, most people who are workspace salvationists, they can't explain that. If they think they can earn their own way to heaven, then why did Jesus, who lived a perfect life, go to hell? But then I follow up always with, oh, porque en fue el infierno. So now I'm changing it to, okay, or who did he go to hell for? And that's when I always see it click with people like, oh, he went for us. They'll say it themselves. And that's great because now they're changing gears. They're getting it. And you say, Si, pornosotros. Okay, so now we can move on to the gift illustration of Ephesians 2.8. For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourself. It is the gift of God, not of words lest any man should boast. Okay. So in Spanish, it sounds like porque por gracias soy salvo por medio de la fe y esto no devosotros. Pues es donde dios. No por obras para que nadie se gloria. Okay. So that's where we, I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with the gift illustration. Okay. So if you say like, if I give you this Bible as a gift and then I ask you for $10, was it really a gift? Of course not. No. Most people will say no. Okay. So when they say, okay, what if I give you this Bible and it's free, but I just asked you to wash my car. Is it really a gift? No, I'm working for it. Exactly. Or if I say, okay, what if I give you this gift, but then we get into a fight and I take it back from you, was it really a gift? No, because you took it back. Okay. So in Spanish, how you would say that is Si yo te doy esta biblias como un regalo, gift, y te digo, okay, ahora a dame de espezos, you could say it is dollars or, you know, I just pesos, people, it's easier to say, people know what it means. De verdad era un regalo, people will say. Right. Okay. So I would say la biblias dice que somos salvos por nuestra fe en el y en su resurección, es un regalo gratis y no por nuestras obras. So basically what I'm saying in Spanish is, okay, at this point, we're just going over that the Bible is telling us that we're saved in our faith in him and his resurrection, and that it's also a free gift and it's not of worth works, but a faith at this point. So the last part in this video, the last verse we're going to turn to is Romans 5-8. Romans 5-8. Okay. That says, mas dios encareces su amor para con nosotros que en que ciendo un pecador es Cristo Murillo por nosotros. Romans 5-8 says, but God commended his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. And again, we're just going over the fact that it's not over works or anything you can do. It's just your faith on Jesus Christ and his resurrection that gets you into heaven. Right. You have to believe that he was resurrected, that God raised him from the dead, and you have to obviously believe that he is God in the flesh. And we're showing you that he lived the perfect life, yet he went to hell for three days and three nights, rose from the grave, and that salvation is a free gift, not of works, and you receive that gift when you place your trust in Christ. So the next video, we're going to transition into calling upon the name of the Lord. And after that, we'll do the final conclusion video where you kind of ask those closing questions to make sure they really understand. And then after that, if they do get it, then you pray with them. And then after that, maybe we'll do some follow-up videos. Follow the video, some examples we do out there in the field. Objections of objections. Objections as well. Hopefully these are helpful to you. Let us know how we can improve. There's a lot to improve, so be kind, be gentle. How do the YouTubers say it below the description? In the comments below.
