Matthew Stuckey here and I wanted to give you a soul winning tip here today and you know when you're just starting out the first thing you really need to understand is that you need to have a soul winning plan. Kind of an organized structured system of what you're going to do when you're actually out there. If somebody actually came down right before you and bowed down and said what must I do to be saved? Would you actually know what to tell them? And the truth is that if you've been going soul winning for a very long time you know what to say. But if you're new then obviously you're not quite sure where do I start? How do I explain stuff? How long should I take? There's many questions you have and so the Bible says in Ephesians 6 verse 15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. So a large part of preaching the gospel is actually the preparation phase. And so there's many facets of the preparation but it kind of starts off with just having a plan of what you're actually going to do. Now here's the truth you know everyone who's a good soul winner has learned how to be a good soul winner because somebody taught them how to be a good soul winner. They learned from somebody else and then they basically learned what verses to use and how to explain it and then they got to go soul with a lot of different people and kind of picked up things here and there and then that's how they have their soul winning plan. And kind of the end goal is this that you're going to start with a template just a basic plan from somebody else and you're going to kind of model your presentation off that and then as time goes by what will hopefully happen is you're going to kind of make that plan your own. What I mean by that is everybody's created differently. There are a million great verses in the Bible. I personally use John 3 16 every single gospel presentation but the truth is there's many verses that teach the same thing. So if you choose not to use it that's perfectly fine. So you kind of make your soul winning plan your own and as long as you're still playing explaining the same things it's okay if it's slightly different kind of your order kind of your structure or you know kind of how you explain it as long as you're making sure you're going thoroughly through everything and logically getting them from the beginning of not being sure how to get to heaven to the end of hey it's just by faith alone and then they call on the Lord at the end. And so when it comes to having a plan you say okay Brother Stuckey I'm motivated I'm going to go out soul winning this is good okay so so how do I make my own plan. Well the good thing is you know with the online ministry and social media and things such as that you know what there are already good plans out there that you can borrow from. So what I'm going to do to try to help you is I'm going to link three different things in the description below. And so the first one I'm going to link is a soul winning demonstration between Pastor Steven Anderson and Pastor David Berzins. Now this is a very very old soul winning demonstration. And so Pastor David Berzins was not a pastor at the time and Pastor Steven Anderson was a young pastor at the time. But I can say that this was really the soul winning demonstration I used to kind of restructure my soul winning plan. Because the truth was I was very zealous for a while preaching the gospel for many years but my gospel presentation was all over the place because I just didn't really have a teacher to kind of show me a structured format of how to preach the gospel. That is a demonstration that I used and then I really just had to humble myself and realize hey this is much better than what I'm doing. And I just kind of modeled my soul winning after that. And as time went by there were certain phrases and things that I wanted to say or certain verses that I wanted to use. And so it's a great demonstration and many people have used it to become very effective soul winners. A couple of things to keep in mind about that. This was back in the days of YouTube where you can upload ten minute videos so it pretty much gets right to the max of that. And so in an ideal situation in a perfect situation where everything lines up you might be able to preach the gospel in just over ten minutes or around that time. But quite honestly usually there are certain things that are going to take a little bit longer. And so I've personally been soul winning with both of them before and generally their actual soul winning would take a little bit longer than that but it's a great demonstration to give you the basics and put you on the right path. And so I would definitely highly recommend that. Another thing I'd recommend is the soul winning seminar designed by Pastor Roger Hermanez. You know our pastor of our church, our sending pastor. And it's a very structured and organized plan and it just kind of shows exactly how he gives the gospel. And so I'll link the soul winning seminar down there so you can view it for yourself. There's the actual video of it but there's also the PDF where you could just see all the verses and that is definitely an effective way. That's actually the main way my wife gives the gospel is very very similar to that. And I did have a few people ask me about what Bible verses that I use in an earlier video. And so I'll also show you all the verses. I'll link all of the verses that I use on a normal typical presentation. Now my gospel presentation is a little bit different than both of those because it's time went by I kind of developed my soul winning plan and kind of made it my own. But you're also going to see great similarity between all three plans because all of us learn from other people and you know what they learn from other people they learn from other people all the way back to even before the time of Jesus Christ because they were soul winning in the Old Testament. And so that's how you learn you just learn from somebody else. So you want to have a soul winning plan. And so I'm going to link those three below. I'd highly recommend that you check those out and you know look over the verses and see how they explain it because quite honestly they've been doing it for a very long time. You're going to see very very good and just clear explanations. The Bible says in Isaiah 28 verse 10 for precept must be upon precept precept upon precept line upon line line upon line here a little and there a little. And so in Isaiah 28 it talks about just kind of you know getting a little bit at a time but it's kind of showing kind of a detailed and structured sort of system. And that's really the way the gospel presentation should be. Your gospel presentation should not be just all over the place. And you know that's kind of how we all start. And that's why it's so important to have a plan because it really kind of shows you wow it's just very logical and structured and gets you down that road from beginning to end. So I'll put those in the description. Check them out. Once again obviously go out there as a silent partner right now if you're not doing that. If you have if you have people at church that are soul winning and you can kind of learn a lot of things from them and there's no substitute for actually being out there actually in the situation. It's one thing to practice something it's another thing to be involved in it. But this is just these are just great supplements you can use to help your soul winning. So tip number one is just basically have a plan as you're going out soul winning. Anyways thank you and God bless.
