(Disclaimer: This transcript is auto-generated and may contain mistakes.) Hi, how you doing? Just wanted to invite you to Faithful Word Baptist Church. Do you go to church anywhere? Uh, no. I'm a Jehovah's Witness student. Oh, okay. Well, um, do you guys go to like a Jehovah's Witness church or? Uh, Kingman Hall. Okay, alright. Well listen, more important than going to church though, I just wanted to ask everybody a question that's, do you know 100% sure that you're saved? That you have eternal life? Yeah, I think so. Okay, you think so? Pretty sure. What makes you say that? I think I follow God's laws, Jehovah's laws pretty well. Okay. Listen, could I just take a couple minutes and just show you what we believe out of the Bible? Yeah. About being saved? Just a couple minutes? Okay. Well look, the Bible says right here in Romans chapter 3, it says, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. So we all have sinned, right? Yeah. Okay. And the Bible says that we come short of the glory of God. So do we really measure up to what God expects? No. Well, the Bible says there's a punishment for our sins. It says here in Romans 6 23, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So the Bible says the wages of sin is death. So there's a punishment for our sin and that's death. But after we die, the Bible talks about a second death. It says right here, In death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Okay. So that's talking about a second death of going to hell. Okay. The lake of fire. And it even says right here, let me ask you this. Have you ever told a lie before? Everybody has, right? Look, it says right here, But the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters, and those are all really bad things. But, he says, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. So where does that say that all liars are going? To hell, right? Okay. But God loves us. And because God loves us, he provided a way to save us. Okay. It says right here, But God commended his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Okay. So, of course, you know, Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, right? Lived a perfect life, never sinned. And do you remember when they arrested him, they beat him, they spat upon him, and then they nailed him to the cross? Well, the Bible says that when he was on the cross, he himself bare our sins in his own body on the tree. So every sin that you've ever done, every sin that I've ever done, when Jesus was on that cross, it was as if he had done it. So he was basically being punished for our sins. Okay. Now, Jesus died on the cross. They took his body, buried it in a tomb. Okay. His soul went down to hell for three days and three nights. And then three days later, he rose again from the dead. Okay. Now, do you believe that Jesus died for everybody? Yeah. Okay. Do you think that everybody's going to be saved? No. Okay. Well, the question is, then what must we do to be saved? Okay. And the Bible has the answer to that. It says right here, now you talked about, you know, following God's laws, following the laws of Jehovah. Okay. But look, the Bible actually says right here, it says and brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved in thy house. So what does that verse say that you have to do to be saved? It says believe. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Okay. Now, look at this verse, this most famous verse in the whole Bible, John 3 16. The Bible says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And it says right here, he that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he had not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. So that right there says that whosoever believeth should not perish, but have everlasting life. So the Bible here is saying that whosoever believeth on him is who will be saved. Okay. Now, does that say in this verse, anything about going to church to be saved? Does it say anything about joining a particular religion to be saved, being baptized, does it say anything about following the commandments? It doesn't mention it here at all. It says whosoever believeth. That's what it said over in Acts 16. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Look at this verse, John 6 47. The Bible says right here, verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Okay. So that right there is saying that if you believe on Christ, you'll have everlasting life. Now, let me show you an important verse here. John chapter 11. The Bible says right here in verse 25, Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And watch this next verse. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this. So the Bible say here that if you believe on Jesus Christ, you will never die. Isn't that what that says right there? It says whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. That's what eternal life means. To live forever. To never die. Okay. Now, let me show you this verse in Philippians chapter one. In Philippians chapter one, the Bible says right here, find my place here. Verse number 21, for to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, which is the fruit of my labor, yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better, nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. So where does that say right there? When you die, who do you go to be with? Who did Paul expect to go to be with? Christ, right? It said, you know, if he lives, it's Christ. To die is gain. He'll depart and go to be with Christ, which is far better than living on this earth, right? Okay, now hold up. So where is Christ? Where is Jesus Christ right now? Jesus Christ. He's up in heaven. At the right hand of the Father. Okay. So if Paul is saying that when he dies, you know, physically that is, when his body dies, when he breathes his last breath, where's he going to go? According to this, to be with Christ. So he's going to heaven. Oh, no, no. There's only 144,000 in heaven. It talks about that in the Bible. I think it's in Revelation. Okay. So you don't, but wait a minute. Didn't the Bible say, whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die? So that means that when a Christian breathes their last breath, their body may die, but their soul is never going to, they're going to be still living, you know, living up in heaven. You don't believe that? No. I've seen it in Revelation before. Okay, well let me let's go there. Hold on. I think I know what passage you're talking about in, in, let's see, Revelation chapter seven. Okay. 144,000. Okay. I think, I think I see what you're saying right here, where it says, till we have sealed the servants of our God and therefore, and I heard the number of them, which were sealed and we're sealed at 144,000 of all the tribes of Israel. Okay. And then, uh, let's, let's look down a little further down in that same chapter though, revelation chapter seven, because these 144,000 are only mentioned in two chapters, revelation seven and revelation 14. Okay. So let me show you that real quick. It says right here in verse number nine, after this, I beheld and lo a great multitude, which no man could number of all nations. Okay. So the 144,000 were of the tribes of Israel. It says a multitude which no man could number of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues stood before the throne and before the lamb clothed with white robes and palms in their hands and cried with a loud voice saying, salvation to our God, which sit upon the throne and unto the lamb and all the angels stood round about the throne and about the elders and the four beasts and fell down for the throne on their faces and worship God and it says here in verse number 13 and one of the elders answered saying to me, what are these, which are arrayed in white robes? And once came and say, and I said to him, sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation and wash their robes and made them white and the blood of the lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple. And he that sit on the throne shall dwell among them. Now, wait a minute. This group right here, it says right here is of all nations, all people, all kindreds and stuff. And it says that it was a great multitude, which no man could number. So that's not 144,000. And where are they before God's throne? Where's God's throne? Where's the throne of God right now? It's in heaven, right? Okay. And, uh, Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of the father in heaven. This is right before God's throne. And it's talking about a multitude that no man can number of all nations, all people, all kindreds. And really up here where it's talking about the 144,000, it really didn't even mention anything about them being in heaven. Okay, let's go to chapter 14 though, just to see that other part. It says right here in chapter 14, and I looked and lo, a lamb stood on the Mount Zion and with them 144,000 having his father's name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven as the voice of many waters and as the voice of a great thunder. And I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps and they sung as it were a new song before the throne and before the four beasts and the elders. And no man could learn that song, but the 144,000 which were redeemed from before the, from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women for their virgins. So that right there is showing that this, whoever the 744,000 of Israel is, they're all males and they're all virgins. It says, these are they which follow the lamb with us. Whoever he go with, these were redeemed from among men being the firstfruits unto God and to the lamb. And their mouth was found no guile for their without fault before the throne of God. And I saw another angel and he goes on to talk about something different. Okay. So really the 144,000 was really eventually in the same place as the multitude that no man can number. So if, if this 144,000 is before God's throne and that great multitude which no man can number was before God's throne of all nations, do you see how they're in heaven? I can definitely see what you're saying. I mean, look, it's a, it said right here that a great multitude that no man can number is before God's throne and they're going to be with the lamb wherever he goes. Okay. So when it, when a believer breathes his last breath, Paul said, I have a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better. Jesus said, whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. So if I were laying in the grave, if I were to get hit by a car and all of a sudden I'm just laying in the grave waiting for the resurrection, I'd be dead and that'd be rising again. But the Bible says whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. So when I breathe my last breath, I'm going to go to be with Christ. I'm going to go straight to heaven and still be living up in heaven. Do you see what I'm saying? Okay. So I don't want to get too far off on that because the thing that I was trying to emphasize to you was that salvation is by believing. The Bible says for by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves. It's the gift of God, not of works lest any man should both. So it's not by keeping the commandments, it's whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Now look at this. I'm going to show you just one last verse here on this. It says for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Now is a gift free or do you have to pay for it? It's free. Okay. So if I were to give you this Bible as a gift and say, all right, but you've got to give me a dollar. What if I said like, okay, I'll give you this Bible for free, but you have to wash my car. That's even worse. That's not a gift. That's not a gift, right? Because I'm making you earn it. So who pays for the gift, the giver or the receiver? Giver. Okay. So who's giving us eternal life? That's God giving it to us. Right. Okay. So who pays for it? God. God pays for it, right? How much do we have to pay in order to be saved? What did the Bible say we had to do? Believe, right? Believe on Jesus Christ. Okay. So what did the Bible say? We have to do anything other than believe? Just said, whosoever believeth in it. Now at this point though, I want to make sure you understand one thing. The Bible said, if you remember, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Okay. And in Ephesians chapter four, the Bible says there's one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and father of all. So there's really only one Lord, one God. Now, do you believe that Jesus Christ is God? He's the son of God. Okay. Cause wait a minute. He says, not God. He said, you got to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. So, I mean, you can't just believe on a Jesus. That's a man. You know, you got to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. There's only one Lord. I mean, do you believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh? I believe he's the son of God, but you don't believe that he's equal with God. Okay. Well, what if I, what if I could show you in the Bible that Jesus is God, that the Bible says that. Yeah. But what, I mean, do you believe the Bible though? Yeah. What if, what if I, do you believe it or not? All right. So what, what if I could just show it to you flat out, then would you believe it? All right. You want to see it? Okay. Let me show you. I'm going to show you four verses. Okay. Four places. The first place I'm going to show you is a Hebrews chapter one. The Bible says right here in Hebrews one eight, but unto the son he sayeth. So where are we talking to? Okay. But unto the son, he says, thy throne. Oh God is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. So that's talking to the son. That's talking to Jesus, calling him, you know, thy throne. Oh God, call him God. Okay. Let me show you another one. Isaiah nine, six. Okay. And the old, let's go to the Old Testament. Isaiah nine chapter six. The Bible says right here, it says for unto us a child is born unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the Prince of peace. It's that right there again, calling the son, the mighty God, the everlasting father. Let me show you another one. Let's look at a first Timothy three 16. First Timothy chapter three verse 16. The Bible reads right here and without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit scene of angels preached unto the Gentiles, lived on in the world, received up in the glory. It's like my Jesus, you know, God manifests in the flesh, but let me show you the last one. Okay. I'm gonna show you one more and I think this one will really, really do it for you. This will really illustrate it for you. Okay. Mark 10 and let's start reading in verse 17. Okay. It says right here and when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running and kneeled to him and asked good master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, why call us thou me good? There is none good, but one that is God. He's saying right there he's not God. He says there's none. What do you, oh, you, hold on a second. Wait a minute. Let's read this again. It says, why call us thou me good? There is none good, but one that's God. Okay. So let me ask you this. Is Jesus good? Do you think Jesus was, do you think Jesus is a sinner? He's perfect. Do you think that Jesus, would you classify him as bad? So he's, he's what? Good, right? Right. So wait a minute. If he's good, then he's God. Because doesn't it say right here, it says, good master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, why call us thou me good? There is none good, but one that is God. I mean, look, I'm not good. You're not good. We've all sinned and come short of the glory of God. We could go up and down this whole street here. None of these people are good. There's only one that's good and that's God. And so if Jesus Christ is not God, then he's not good. And that's coming out of Jesus' own mouth right there. I mean, do you see that? So, I mean, now that you've seen that, but unto the son he saith, thy throne, O God. God was manifest in the flesh. Unto the son he saith, thy throne. His name shall be called the mighty God. One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God. And right there, Jesus said, I mean, now do you believe? I believe the Bible. So you believe that Jesus was God in the flesh then? That's what it says. That's what it says, right? Okay. So look, do you believe that you've sinned? Yeah. Okay. Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins? Yeah. And you believe that that Jesus was God in the flesh? Yeah. Okay. And that he physically rose from the grave? Like that he physically walked out of that grave? Okay. Yeah. Now, let me ask you this. If you were to believe on Jesus Christ right now, what kind of life would he give you? It starts with an E. Eternal. Eternal life. Okay. So let me ask something. If God gives you eternal life, is that ever going to end? Eternal means forever, right? So what happens if you were to go out and kill somebody? Is he going to then take that away from you? It's a gift. It should last forever. Okay. He gave it to you. It's eternal. If you were to take it away from you, that's not eternal either. You know, if he took it away from you, how's that eternal? Okay. So the Bible teaches, you know, I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish. Neither shall he men pluck them out of my hand. And so the Bible's clear that it's everlasting life. Once you're saved, you're saved forever. Jesus said, I'll never leave thee nor forsake thee. Okay. So according to the Bible, since you believe that, that Jesus is the only way to heaven, right? Yeah. That he died on the cross, that he's God in the flesh, that he rose again. If you were to ask Jesus to save you right now, would he save you? Yeah. Okay. And how long would you be saved for? Eternal. Eternal. Okay. What if you never go to church? What if you live a bad life? I still need to have a job. What if you don't keep the commandments? So we've all sinned. I mean, you know, we're all come short. Yeah. We all come short. Okay. So let's pray right now. Okay. I just, what I want to do is just help you pray and tell God, tell Jesus that that's what you believe, that you're trusting him to save you right now. Okay. So you can just pray this with me. Just bow your head and you can say this after me. Dear Jesus. Dear Jesus. I know I'm a sinner. I know I'm a sinner. I know I deserve to go to hell. I know I deserve to go to hell. But I believe that you died on the cross for me and rose again. Please save me right now and give me eternal life. I'm only trusting you, Jesus. Amen. Now you meant that, right? Yeah. That's all the Bible says you got to do to be saved. Okay. Now, look, this is not what your religion teaches. I mean, you know that. You said it yourself. You've been shown that only 144,000, we're going to heaven. Yeah. But I mean, it's not, you know, the Bible doesn't say it's faith. It says it's belief. It said it's, it said it's, you know, God in the flesh, Jesus Christ. So, you know, I would love for you, I gave you that invitation. We'd love for you to come to our church sometime. You know, Sunday mornings at 1030, Sunday nights at six 30, Wednesday nights at seven, you know, we'd love for you to come by.
