My parents, they believed God. They claimed to believe the Bible but they didn't believe salvation by faith alone. So I grew up and my dad was a bit of a... He had some weird doctrine because he used to talk to all the Jehovah's Witnesses at the door and listen to all the TV preachers. So I grew up thinking that there was a soul sleep, it was worse to get to heaven and a few other weird doctrines that the Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons believe. But then I was always into dinosaurs growing up. I'm sure a lot of you are probably going to know where this is going. I was watching Ken Hovind on YouTube. I came across a video called Science is Falsely So Called by Matt Powell. I watched that and I noticed that Pastor Anderson was in that. The way he was talking got me interested. I was really into young earth creation at that time. I started watching a lot of his sermons. I think I came across one of his sermons, Once Saved Always Saved. I watched it and I guess that's what led me to the Lord and caught upon the Lord. Ever since then I've just been watching more preaching on YouTube. It's just gotten me into soul winning. I noticed I had to find a good church to go to. I was originally attending an old IFB church. They didn't want to go soul winning. They just wanted to do the occasional track job once a year. It wasn't even once a month, it was just once a year. I was looking online on the new IFB website. I came across Blessed Hope. At the time it was New Life Baptist Church. Pastor Sepulveda's church. I noticed they did soul winning. I messaged him and asked him if I could have some training. He gave me the number of one of the church members. They took me out and I ended up just joining their church in the long run. My Christian life has just improved a lot since then. I've kept learning. My future goals are just to keep going soul winning. Same with Brother Ramson. I just want to lead as many people to the Lord as I can. Maybe even one day hopefully become a pastor. If God willing. That's it. I'd also like to thank my pastor for all the hard work he's done. He does pastor two churches and travels up and down between Brisbane and Sydney. It is hard work for him.
