Song number 260, He is Able to Deliver Thee. 🎵Music🎵 Song number 260, let's sing it out on the first. Tis the grandest theme through the ages rung, Tis the grandest theme for a mortal tongue, Tis the grandest theme that the world there sung, Our God is able to deliver thee, He is able to deliver thee, He is able to deliver thee, Though by sin the breaths go to Him, For rest our God is able to deliver thee, Tis the grandest theme in the earth or me, Tis the grandest theme for a mortal strain, Tis the grandest theme, tell the world again, Our God is able to deliver thee, He is able to deliver thee, He is able to deliver thee, Though by sin the breaths go to Him, For rest our God is able to deliver thee, Tis the grandest theme, let the tidings roll, To the guilty heart, to the sinful soul, Look to God in faith, He will make thee whole, Our God is able to deliver thee, He is able to deliver thee, He is able to deliver thee, Though by sin the breaths go to Him, For rest our God is able to deliver thee. All right, great singing everybody. Good morning. Welcome to Sure Foundation Baptist Church. Let's take our bulletins and go through those. If you don't have a bulletin, would you just lift up your hand and one of our ushers would happily bring you a bulletin. On our front cover we have our verse of the week. It says, The fear of man bringeth the snare, but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be saved. Proverbs chapter 29, verse 25, a great scripture there. And our service times are Sunday morning at 10 30 a.m. You're here at that service and then Sunday evening at 3 30 p.m. Then we'll be having a special men's preaching night tonight. We'll talk about that here in just a minute. And Thursday evenings we have our Bible studies at 6 30 p.m. We're going to be in 1st Corinthians chapter 15. And that is a really long chapter. I may have to preach two sermons out of that or just not touch on every single verse. Because last week I touched on every single verse and we went a little late. So like 15 minutes late. But anyway I was having fun. I don't know about everybody else. Anyway our soul wanting times are listed below. And what soul wanting is when we go out in the community and reach people with the gospel. Jesus said go ye therefore and preach the gospel to every creature. So he's saying to go not to come. So church is for save people and we go out to the loss and reach and that's what the Bible actually teaches. We have several different times you can go during the week. The only time that we don't have soul wanting going on is on a Wednesday. And we're still looking for someone to lead that time. Now I was thinking about it when I woke up this morning. I was thinking I feel like I got like an extra hour sleep. Was I'm pretty sure that daylight savings time happened last night. I think everybody wakes up to cell phone alarms now. So I don't even think it really matters because did anybody even know that. Is it next weekend. My calendar actually says it's today. That today is the last day of daylight savings but maybe I'm wrong. Is it next weekend. Can I get a witness. Well while Ryan's looking that up I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. So anyway back to the soul wanting. We will do soul wanting today. I'm not sure how that's going to how it is next week. Well then my calendar is wrong. All right. Well sorry about that. Well I guess you didn't get an extra sleep. Next week you'll get an extra hour of sleep. So that doesn't mean stay up an extra hour. Just enjoy it. So all right. Well I guess I was wrong. But wouldn't be like I said wouldn't be the first time. So we do have soul wanting today at 1 p.m. It might be around 1 15 ish and there's a lot of people knocking on doors today because it's Halloween right. So when you show up with no costume on they might get a little upset. Think you're trying to get some candy. Just make sure you tell them that you're from a foundation Baptist church. All right. So it might get a little awkward today but it's all right. We still got to go soul wanting right. Amen. So we have regional soul wanting times and those are listed below that. If you're not the WhatsApp group then you know after you've been here for a little maybe a couple of weeks or something. We'll put you into that WhatsApp group. It's basically our private church group where we can it's like a virtual message board. And so if you want to know what's going on with our church or we also have a prayer request group that you can get into. And we pray for each other. There's lots of prayer requests shared in there. So if that's something you're interested in please see me or my wife if you're a lady please see my wife. If you're a male please see me. We're the only gatekeepers that let people in. So anyhow our praise report you can see we've had 50 salvation so far for the month. So praise God for that. Twenty six of those were in Yakima. But hey we'll get them however we can get them right. So but we've had a pretty good month. I mean that's a good that's a good number. Maybe we can get a little a few more to add to the list for the last day of the month. And you can see our year to date salvation our attendance was I think maybe the lowest attendance we've had in a long time. We had a lot of people sick but I'm glad to see a lot of people are back. And so speaking of the sick thing what's we're incorporating the COVID fist bumps and the just it's better to just have a little bump like that with someone than to shake hands after someone wiped their face or whatever. You know kids are super spreaders. So you know it's not just COVID it's any sickness like the stomach flu was going around a couple of weeks ago and that was awful. So let's just be mindful of you know keeping a social distance of just don't get like that in someone's face right. I'm not saying six feet OK. I'm just saying we should take precautions. The Bible says when you have a running issue which means it could be a snotty nose or whatever that you should quarantine yourself. So that's what the Bible actually teaches for seven days and after seven days if the priests look upon you and see a snotty nose then you quarantine for seven other days. So anyway that's another sermon for a different time. So anyway let's look at the event. So don't forget to sign up for family pictures and if you are just a single or whatever that's fine too. You can have like the wolf killer pose or whatever you want to do. But after we have like a schedule that's running and are people signing up for that is what's your cutoff date Miss Kylie. She doesn't have one so OK. Well it should you know so those are good to give away for Christmas presents especially if you're cheap like me and you just want to give a picture of your beautiful face to your family then hey it's free of charge. We don't charge for anything at this church. We don't sell anything at this church so that you're more than welcome to sign up and that's a virtual sign up. But if you are not in the WhatsApp group and you want a family picture taken or a single picture taken of yourself then just see Miss Kylie she's right there raise your hand in the air and wave it like you don't care. All right. And she will figure out a time for you to go and get your picture taken so please don't forget about that. Today we have pizza on the house. Of course again I'm not charging to buy the slice. It's all free. OK. So I ordered 23 pizzas I hope that's enough for everybody I know there's some teenagers here so teens let's let's keep it real. All right. There's other people that want to eat too. So if I see a Mount St. Helens stack of pizza on your plate you might get taxed. All right. So anyway let's just make sure everybody gets gets a piece and hey don't don't slack to go get it and be like oh there was no pizza left. Well hey snooze you lose you got to you got to get in there and jump on the grenade right and get that pizza. So but yeah so I don't know if anybody brought anything extra beside that but we do have water that's also free and pizza. Yeah. There's other stuff that's here. No. OK. Well I think my wife's saying that she's going to go get some drinks like maybe soda or healthy soda or whatever you guys whatever she'll figure it out. But anyway so we'll have pizza after the service we'll probably wait like I told him to be here at 1215. That's usually when I get done preaching usually. So we'll we'll probably about 15 minutes after the service is over we'll we'll do the prayer and then we'll eat. And let's see. So men's preaching night is tonight. Who's planning on preaching tonight men. One two three four five six. Perfect. All right. So six. That's all. That's the. The gates closed. All right. Last time I wants to worse them. I'm going to preach boo boo. No no no boo boo. Well six minutes at 60 minutes for the preaching each man gets 10 minutes to preach. So let it rip tonight guys I'm looking forward to hearing you guys preach I hope everybody else is too. And let's see November 6 which is this coming Saturday we're going to have an usher training and money handling procedure training. And that will be at 12 p.m. lunch will be provided. And if you're an usher I want you there. OK. So it's like a retraining. All right. And then also if you're someone that is a monarch money handling person you do the counts for the tithes and offerings. I would like you to be there we're going to update some of our policies and procedures for that. So we can always tighten the screws. So we're just going to tighten some screws. So if you're there I mean I need you to be there if you're someone that takes care of stuff like that. So and if you're an usher I need you to be there. If for some reason you can't be there just please come see me after the service and we'll try to figure something out. Maybe we'll record it or something. Then the weekend after that which is two weeks from now Pastor Roger Jimenez will be preaching for us at the p.m. service. He'll be preaching for us at three thirty p.m. I think he's bringing his wife and a couple church members. So we're looking forward to seeing Pastor Jimenez and letting them. They'll be the first time he gets the ripped face from this pulpit. So I'm very excited about that. And he always preaches great sermons for us. He's a great friend of ours and happy and blessed to have him come for us. November 21st is our Thanksgiving potluck and men's preaching night after the evenings at the evening service. We'll have a Thanksgiving potluck. Everybody's going to be in a turkey coma during the preaching but you know we'll just give you a shot of adrenaline or something and wake you up. So anyway that's November 21st and then we'll have our first kids Christmas choir practice. I'm not sure where we're fitting that in. I think maybe before the evening service is that or after the evening service real quick. I don't know. We'll figure that out. We've got a couple of weeks to figure that out. So November 24th we're switching the Thursday to a Wednesday evening service. So if you show up here on Thursday the rapture didn't happen. Okay. Because the rapture comes after the tribulation. But that's another story altogether. But anyway if you show up here on Thursday of that week it's not going to there's no service. So come Wednesday evening the 24th and we'll have our midweek service. Then December 11th we'll have a ladies cookie exchange white elephant game at 1 p.m. at the Bender home. Please bring three dozen cookies and a container for goodies plus 10 percent on top for the pastor. I'm just joking about that. December 19th we have the Christmas service. Our official Christmas service will be that the 19th so the weekend before that Saturday of Christmas. And then we'll have a children's choir and they'll sing for us like they always do. They always do a great job and it's always fun and cute to watch them do that. And then we'll have the prime rib dinner after the morning service. So we every year of our church which is this will be the fifth one I think that we've had a prime rib dinner. And so I usually call upon people to have their best prime rib recipes that they want to they want to help cook a prime rib. And if you want to show off your prime rib skills then we would definitely like you to cook a prime rib. And it's nice to have like a variety because prime ribs get no matter pretty much no matter how you have it. I mean but you can mess it up so you know if you've never done one before maybe talk to Rachel Ray or something I don't know. But anyway so that's going to be going on then and then the 23rd is a candlelight service. That'll be that Thursday and then we'll pray in the new year on December 31st which is a Friday night. We'll have a game night, ping pong tournament and foosball tournament. So that's going to be a fun thing. We'll try to pick up some cool prizes for the winners the champions of those games. And you can just bring board games or whatever you want and we'll have a great time. We're a family integrated church that means the children and infants are welcome during the church services. However if they become extremely distracting please take them to the mother baby room. The mother baby room is located back there with the sign that says mother baby room and then the dad baby room is located in that corner and that door right there. So please take your children there and they're also utilized to be utilized for training. And you know I mentioned this on our Thursday sermon that you know I don't expect your 15 month old and your two year old and maybe even up to three year old to just sit through a service without making a peep. It's just that's why we have those rooms available for you because it's just not possible. So if you're spanking them constantly because they're 15 months old and they you know you shouldn't be spanking a 15 month old constantly like that anyway in my opinion. But you know I'm just saying that I don't expect them to be these perfect angels in church. You know little kids they have an attention span shorter than ours and ours is about 15 minutes because then it's a commercial break right. So I just want you understand that you know use the mother baby room use the dad baby room but what I don't. Here's what's distracting. What's distracting is bringing them out putting them back in bringing them out putting them back in. I mean just over and over and over again. I mean I might not it might not affect what I'm doing but it is a distraction it's a distraction to other people so you know there's nothing wrong with sitting in those rooms with your children. And what you know if the volume is not right in there we'll make sure it's right. We'll try to get that right. But the reason why we pipe in the preaching so you can still listen to it. So it's really not supposed to be a place where you're just you know bumping your gums talking about daily events and what you're making for dinner tomorrow and stuff like that it's supposed to be. I mean when we're preaching time it should be quiet time. You know obviously if you have a child screaming and they just won't quit screaming well then just take them outside maybe take them to the car. Watch the sermon on your phone or something. But like we've got to kind of get a little bit of a handle on it and I'm not saying I don't want kids in the service I do. And if they're just like you know chirping and you know that doesn't bother me. But it's that that that does bother me. I think it bothers other people. So let's just be mindful of other people and utilize those baby rooms as necessary. So also reserve the back rows for families with young children and rockers are for pregnant and nursing mothers and elders only. Please no men allowed in the mother baby rooms and vice versa. No unattended children in anywhere in the building. This is another thing that I brought up on Thursday. You know here's my rule and I'm Officer Thompson right now. OK. You're under arrest. The mother baby rooms the dad baby rooms are not for your children to just play carte blanche after and before the services without being attended. OK. If you want to go in there with them and do that that's fine. But like if they're well I mean we should be able to restrain our children when they're doing stuff. You know if you don't if you're not watching them then they can just do whatever. But I just want to make sure that the children are being watched. And then when things because things get broke and that's OK. Sometimes things are going to get broke. But like if it's because of complete negligence then you know we've got to fix something. All right. So let's just make sure we're not just letting our kids destroy things as you sit there and watch them do it. So if you're in the mother baby room and your child is doing this on the gate. You know there's a gate in there that's used to separate the crawling room from the toddlers. All right. So they shouldn't be just wrenching on things in there. I mean just get up and just stop them from doing it. I mean you're the parent. OK. So let's just make sure we're taking care of God's house. And obviously this is the church of God is the people. But we still have to meet here. So anyway I just wanted to mention that stuff really quickly. I'm not trying to be the warden but I kind of have to be because I'm the pastor. So it's kind of my job right. Anyway so and I'm not mad at anybody. You know God might be mad at you but I'm not. No I'm just kidding. So I'm just joking. But there's no food allowed in the assembly area. Now today when we have the pizza we're going to have some tables set up. And if I could I forgot to ask the ushers. Would you please set up some tables either right after the service. You know right after service would be great to set up some tables and chairs and just get that room ready. And you can also meet in the upper room if you want. But just again be careful. You know watch your children up there. Make sure those gates are closed and your kids just aren't walking up and down with unfettered access to the upstairs. OK. So I know that it seems like I'm being mean but I'm really not. So I just want everybody to be safe. And I just want to take care of the things that we have. Amen. All right. So silence your cell phones at this time if you would please or turn down turn off Pastor Anderson right now. We're at church now. We've had that happen before. So anyway we're someone's listening to something you know on accident. You know it happens it's funny. But just turn off your cell phones. That's distracting when your phone goes off too. So just take the time right now to do that please. And you can see online donations are available on our Web site and text through text giving. And there's the totals of the off titles offering that have come in so far for this month. And then we have two special birth announcements. I announced Isaiah Anthony Yefimoff born last week on the 22nd. And he was weighing in at six pounds 10 ounces and 19 and three quarters inches. So congratulations to the Yefimoff family and also CJ and Miss Rachel's baby came. And the name is Levi Woods. I don't know about the middle name I'm trying to figure out what that is. It's got to have something that matches with the woods some kind of a tree right. So anyway I'm sure they're trying to figure it out. And congratulations to the Woods family. And Levi was weighing in at nine pounds eight ounces 21 and a quarter inches long. So congratulations to both families. And then there's a special birthday tomorrow for Nia Dehas. Still hard for me to say that last name. But I'm just kidding. But tomorrow is Nia's birthday. How old are you going to be Nia? Twenty two. Wow. Deuce deuce. Who else? Liberty on the fifth. Where's Bender? Rylan make a note please. So Liberty's is on the fifth. So let's sing happy birthday to both the birthday girls right. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday God bless you. Happy birthday to you. All right. That's all I have for announcements. I know that went a little bit long. But let's sing another song. Actually one more thing. If it's your first time here we're happy that you're here. I just want to let you know that we have care package or gift packages for each first time visitor. If you wouldn't mind grabbing one of these on the way out. As you leave there's a little table right in the foyer there. And just grab one of these bags. It's a special gift for just being a first time visitor. And it has it'll have some kind of film in it. Some kind of DVD. Being Baptist is a good one. It's got a nice pen and some other items inside there. Please take that as a token of our appreciation for you being a first time visitor. And we we know that there's other options in town. We just appreciate being here this morning. If you have any questions after the service or you want to talk to me about anything I reserve time at the end. If you've never been scripturally baptized you know we want to baptize you. And so just come and talk to me after the service and we'll set up getting you baptized. OK. All right. And if you don't know for 100 percent sure that you're going to heaven. If you were to die today please come see us after the service. And one of the people in our church will gladly just show you what the Bible says it takes to go to heaven. All right. That's all I got for announcements. Let's sing another song and receive the offering. All right. Our next song is song number 238. Christ liveth in me. Song number 238. Christ liveth in me. Song number 238. Christ liveth in me. Let's sing it on the first. Once far from God and dead in sin. No light my heart could see. But in God's word the light I found. Now Christ liveth in me. Christ liveth in me. Christ liveth in me. Oh what a salvation this. That Christ liveth in me. As rays of light from yonder sun. The flowers of earth set free. So life and light and love came forth. From Christ living in me. Christ liveth in me. Christ liveth in me. Oh what a salvation this. That Christ liveth in me. As lives the flowers within the seed. As in the cone the tree. So praise the God of truth and grace. His spirit dwelleth in me. Christ liveth in me. Christ liveth in me. Oh what a salvation this. That Christ liveth in me. With longing all my heart is filled. That like Him I may be. As on the wondrous thought I dwell. That Christ liveth in me. Christ liveth in me. Christ liveth in me. Oh what a salvation this. That Christ liveth in me. Amen. Good singing. Brother Ramon, could you bless the offering for us? Thank you so much for this day. . . . . . . . . . . . Okay, turn in your Bibles to Deuteronomy 18. Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.
