(Disclaimer: This transcript is auto-generated and may contain mistakes.) here this morning and I just wanted to thank everybody for making the trip out and coming to the services this morning. I know some of you drove pretty far or took a train from very far out and I really just wanted to say I appreciate you coming here and there's some people I've met here today and there's some people I haven't met but if I get a chance I'll definitely love to talk to you. If you want to speak with me or just meet me after the service that'd be something I'm definitely happy to do. Also I just want to thank brother Ian and miss Lisa for all the hospitality and the church of course for all the hospitality we really appreciate it. Had a great day out soul winning yesterday even though people in our little group didn't get saved but we had 28 salvation so that's very good and also I just want to mention really quickly that we want to take a picture after the service so I think brother Ian just forgot to say something but that's okay that's why I'm here I'm the pastor but after the service we're going to also have pizza at 12 30 so everybody's welcome to stay for pizza afterwards but the price you have to pay is that you have to take that picture with us okay so it's free as long as you take the picture so anyway so that'll be about 12 30 right is so I'll be right before I finish my sermon I'm saying no I'm just kidding I'm hopefully hopefully I am kidding but anyway I want to get to the sermon and just one real quick more thing I want to say about the food yesterday the food was good but the pizza won't be served in courses today so I just want to let you know that and I want you guys to start praying for this specific thing that Panda Express is is is going to bring their their restaurants to England so that would make things a lot easier because if you have a Panda Express in every neck of the woods then that way we can just really easily purchase it and get and get it rolling so anyway but the title of my sermon this morning is make King James make England King James again make England King James again I think it's very interesting that I'm here at a time when you know monarchs are changing you've had a queen for all these years and you know now you have King Charles right he's he's your new king but I had this sermon planned well before all this happened so I just think it's you know very interesting that I'm here at such a time as this and you know obviously we have a picture here of King James on the bulletin and that wasn't done accidentally it was done on purpose and I believe that King James was a great king of England and even though historians and maybe even modern historians and bloggers and youtubers and you know people just they have you know they have issues with King James but in reality I believe King James was a great king and if if today England had a king that was like King James it was actually ruling like King James and it was actually actually in charge like King James was I think that England would be a lot better off today and obviously you know a lot of people were calling for me to preach a really damn hellfire and damnation sermon against the queen but you know she's gone and there's somebody in her place now and you know sometimes people get upset when you would speculate whether someone's in heaven or hell or not but I mean obviously she paid lip service to to being you know the defender of the faith and all this other stuff but do you think that England is better spiritually now that she or do you think the kingdom of of God in England is better off because of all the things that Elizabeth did in her life it's probably not it's probably gotten worse in the last what 70 years that she reigned or whatever and you know it's looking pretty bleak with Charles also because Charles you know he's walking around with you know a paper plate on his head all the time with the with the Jews and he's you know he's he's very ecumenical just like a lot of other leaders are now and he wants to call himself the defender of faith and not the defender of the faith because really the faith is Christianity and he doesn't he he you know he said some things in like 1994 that really irked some people but even then I'm sure England was better off spiritually than it is right now because right now Islam has basically taken over as the the main religion for this country and you know what if we made England more King James it would be a lot better off than it is and so I have four points I have two sermons I'm preaching about this so that I'm only preaching two points of the sermon this morning and I want you to look down at your bible at Daniel chapter 2 where the bible says in verse 19 it says then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision then Daniel blessed the God of heaven Daniel answered and said blessed be the name of our God forever and ever for wisdom and might are his and he changeth the times and the seasons he removeth kings and setteth up kings so that little place where it says he removed removeth kings and setteth up kings this is this is Daniel's talking to the king basically of the whole world at this time and Nebuchadnezzar is very powerful God used him to come in and destroy the temple destroy Jerusalem and he's a very great and mighty gentile king but isn't it interesting how God still is working in the life of this unsaved king at this time and using Daniel and I mean he's having a dream about what's going to happen in the future he forgets the dream and doesn't even know remember what the dream is about he just knows that he's troubled by it and then he brings in his astrologers and his soothsayers and all these wicked people to come in and try to tell them what the dream means and none of them can tell them what the dream means they can't even tell the dream so they're all about to die and this would include Daniel and because it seems like the king just puts them as all the same type of people but Daniel and his friends were different weren't they they were servants of the most high God and they said you know Daniel's like well I'm going to help everybody out and save everybody here and so he goes to the Lord the Lord interprets the dream for him he actually tells the dream to Nebuchadnezzar that he had already forgotten and then gives the interpretation thereof which is what we just got done reading but in this he says it says that he removeth kings and steadeth up kings and that is the truth that God is the one that has set Charles as the king over you I mean if you want to go by what the Bible says the Bible says that he's the one that sets up kings he's the one that also removes them now I believe the perfect will of God is that each each leader or king of each country or where whatever place they're at is that they would be a godly king that they'd be a king that the people can trust in and that he would protect them and lead them into battle and he would judge righteously and he would according to this verse right here scatterth the wicked and bringeth the wheel over them that doesn't sound very nice does it but you know what that's what judgment is supposed to be like you know the wicked are supposed to be punished and the ones that do right are supposed to be exalted right but you don't see that happening today and you don't see the the governments of this world being ruled by righteous kings you know a lot of places don't they don't even call it kings you guys are not even really ruled over by your king you're ruled over by some prime minister or whatever and then the parliament and then you know the king though is supposed to be the one that rules the nation that's what the bible teaches and god sets these kings up and he also removes them so you had one removed this week and now you have one set back up but i believe that the bible teaches that we are going to get what we deserve what do the people deserve well you know apparently america deserves joe biden god help us but he also determined that you know you guys are ruled over don't you have a new prime minister i forgot what is it trust prime minister trusts and you know it sounds like people are sus of trust and don't really you know they don't really think she's going to do much of a better job but you know it is a shame when women are ruling over the nation and so queen elizabeth you know the the whole song god saved the queen and there's been queens in the past that you know people say are good rulers but you know really the the bible teaches that men are supposed to be the rulers and obviously as a king being a good king and i believe that king james was a good king despite what the historians say and he left a legacy of great things you know most people remember who king james is why do they why do they remember who king james is because of the king james bible right but you know he also he also wrote other books that i think show what a great king he was i'm going to go through those books in order that's why it's going to take me two sermons to get this done because there's a lot of things to be said about king james but let's let's finish reading verse 21 here in daniel i'm going to talk about king james here in just a minute but i want to read some more verses here daniel 2 21 he changes the times and the seasons he removeth kings he seteth up kings he giveth wisdom unto the wise and knowledge to them that no understanding he revealeth the deep and secret things he knoweth what is in the darkness and the light dwelleth with him so daniel is talking to neba kineser again the king of the world basically and the bible says and let's look at verse number 36 or 37 excuse me it says thou oh king art a king of kings for the god of heaven hath given thee a kingdom who gave neba kineser the kingdom what did neba kineser just rise up on his own or did god give it to him what's it say it says it was given the kingdom power and strength and glory god gave him those things was he a saved person at this time no he wasn't and some people would say that he's not he was never saved i might uh have a different opinion about that i tend to think he might have been saved i don't 100 know for sure but look at verse 38 says and wheresoever the children of men dwell the beast of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand and hath made the ruler over them all thou art this head of gold so neba kineser was called a king of kings not the king of kings there's only one king of kings and that's the lord jesus christ he is the king of kings and he is the lord of lords look what it says even neba kineser realizes this in verse number 47 if you look at verse number 47 if i can get my page turned here verse number 47 says the king answered unto daniel and said of a truth it is that your god is a god of gods and a lord of kings and a revealer of secrets seeing thou could reveal this secret so neba kineser even realizes that the person he's dealing with whose god he believes in is different than any other god and he is the he is the revealer of secrets and he is a god of gods now you notice that it says god of gods and that g is small and lord of kings so he is the head of all kingdoms he is the head and ruler of all you know gods is another word of saying like judges or people that are ruling or in power so the fact is is that the bible teaches throughout the scriptures that kings are do have like an absolute power when it comes to their power on the earth and that power is given to them by god god sets them up and removes them the bible clearly teaches now when it comes to james you know you know this is gonna be kind of a history lesson today too and many of you live here but maybe you don't know some of the details about king james maybe you just don't know books that he wrote and i think that uh in a time like this it's important when we're thinking about kings and queens because it's so you know i don't think it's an accident that this all happened you know while i'm here i just think it's it's a great opportunity to teach what the bible teaches about it because they're you know there's just some things that are entrenched in culture and i i think that you know we can get the wrong idea about things i mean just even the way that this government's set up right now like i said it's not why god wants it to be and you know there was a uh an english civil war that happened after king james was the king where charles became the king and then the people basically overthrew the king cut his head off in front of everybody and then took over the government it was kind of so it's like english england's version of the revolutionary war basically and so then when they set back up charles ii he was kind of you know he didn't rule absolutely anymore the monarch did not rule absolutely after that and i think it's been like that ever since that they have to have the permission of parliament to do all these things and so on and so forth but do you think does it seem like neva kenezer had to ask for permission to kill all the people in the land no because he was ruling and even though you know he he wasn't a very nice guy in a lot of his life he was still the king and what he said went and that's just the way it was but i would just say this to like when it comes to authority and power in this world we have who we have and we should be able to uh live within this world to the best of our abilities and not be these seditionists these anarchists and these people that want to overthrow government that movie v versus vendetta is complete garbage and blasphemy and it's filthy and you know the guy guy falx was not the not the hero that people want to portray him as now he was a wicked person he was an evil jesuit catholic that wanted to overthrow and kill all the king and all of his men and all of parliament and all the lords and everything else so let me read you a little bit about king james here and i am going to source several articles as i preach this but uh let's let's let's uh listen up about king james so king james was the king of scotland before he was the king of england and basically his mother um and i'll get to that here in a minute but i'll get to that let me uh not get ahead of myself here but king james was the king of scotland and his name was james charles stewart and uh he was the king of scotland the sixth king and from the 24th of july 1567 and king of england and ireland as james the first so he became james the first when he took over as the king of england after elizabeth died with no heirs right so he was uh uh let's see so as james won from the union of the scottish and english crowns on march on 24th of march 1603 until his death in 1625 the kingdoms of scotland and england were individual sovereign states with their own parliaments judiciaries and laws though both were ruled by james in personal union so basically he kind of brought all the the nations in this island or you know ireland's a different island i guess but but he brought all that together and became one big nation called britain they called it but james was the son of mary queen of scots and a great-grandson of henry the sixth i believe henry the well it says five yeah six henry the seventh king of england and lord of ireland and thus a potential successor to all three thrones he succeeded to the scottish throne at the age of 13 months after his mother was compelled to abdicate in his favor four different regions governed during his minority which ended officially in 1578 though he did not gain full control of his government until 1583 and 1603 he succeeded the last tutor monarch of england and ireland elizabeth won who died childless he continued to reign with all three kingdoms for 22 years a period known as the jacobean era until his death after the union of the crowns he based himself in england in the largest of the three realms from 1603 returning to scotland only in 1617 and styled himself king of great britain and ireland he was a major advocate of the single parliament for england and scotland in his reign the plantation of ulster and english colonization of the americas began so you know king james also started america you're welcome america but anyway and then they revolted and you know they won the war but that's not a very popular thing to talk about so i'll just move on from there but at 57 years and 246 days james reign in scotland was the longest of any scottish monarch he achieved most of his aims in scotland but faced great difficulties in england including the gunpowder plot in 1605 and repeated conflicts with the english parliament under james the golden age of elizabeth elizabethan literature and drama continued with writers such as william shakespeare john dawn ben johnson and sir francis bacon contributing to a flourishing literary culture james himself was a prolific writer of authoring works such as the demonology 1597 the true law of free monarchies 1598 and the basilican doran 1599 so king james wrote these different books and it says he sponsored the translation of the bible into english later named after him the authorized king james version sir anthony weldon claimed that james had been termed the wisest fool in christiandom and f at that associated with the character with his character ever since so he you know just like any good person or good christian or good king they're going to have their name smeared through the mud and this clown here called him the wisest fool in christian but i think he left us a great legacy he left a great legacy here in england and united everybody and ruled well he wrote but he was a very smart man he wrote books several books and then he obviously offered the greatest translation in the world of the bible and the king james bible and whatever native language you speak i'm sure there might there may or may not be a great translation of the bible but in english the translation the best translation of the bible is the king james version and you know basically the popularity of the king james is it's so popular it's still the most read bible today in the whole world it's still the most read bible you know all these different modern versions they have it's still the best and why because when people read the king james they just know it's the word of god it's got power and you know like well that's not a very good reason well you know i got same saved by the king james bible somebody took the bible and showed it to me how to be saved out of that bible and you know most people that are missionaries are doing missionary work are using the king james bible how many baptists have knocked on your door with an niv and said hey can i show you how to be saved how many people from a revised standard version have you seen come to someone's door or your door and you know how many people period have ever come to your door with a bible trying to get you saved i mean not very many it's usually the joe was false witnesses that bring their false version of the bible and and that's trash and then obviously the mormons claim to be king james only but only as it's translated by their uh their apostles and whatnot and uh they just they don't really believe the bible they actually deny the bible they think that joseph smith was the prophet but anyway i'm not preaching about that tonight but uh or this morning but you know historians they don't really paint king james in a very good light and you know obviously history is called his story for a reason but the fact remains that king james legacy and the greatest thing that he probably ever did was to authorize the king james version of the bible it's just a fact okay and the way he ruled was the way that kings are supposed to rule and what he believed about being a king was what was right about you know the right thing to believe about being a king you know and he wrote the basilican door into his son which was how to rule as a great king he believed in the divine authority of kings and you know the bible i believe agrees with that theory now i did read some place where it says that he believed it was an apostolic authority um i don't see anywhere else besides that one article but again people are going to try to paint him in a bad picture people try to make him a queer because uh you know he basically he wasn't very uh strong as a man as far as like physically and so like he couldn't even walk on his own until he was seven years old so he had some definite physical challenges he liked to ride horses but he had to be strapped to the horse in order to ride it because one time he got thrown off of a horse into the water and he almost drowned because he just wasn't very strong but you know he wasn't strong physically he couldn't lead people out into battle necessarily but solomon wasn't very you know where do you see where solomon was was great in that aspect he probably wasn't great in that aspect david was great in both aspects but here's the thing nobody's perfect no person in this room is perfect no leader is perfect and i don't think king james was perfect either i think he probably had some hang-ups religious and some of the religious things that he believed that i wouldn't probably agree with you know this whole thing about being called the defender of the faith that's what every monarch of england has been called but where does the bible say that you're supposed to be the defender of the faith now obviously you can defend the faith but to be called like the the governor of the church you know i i really don't think that those things should be on the same you know there there should be a separation of powers there and i believe the bible teaches that very clearly so but anyway he was strongly committed to a peace policy and tried to avoid involvement in religious wars especially the 30 years war that devastated much of central europe he tried and failed to prevent the rise of hawkish elements in the english parliament who wanted war with spain he was succeeded by his son charles now i already mentioned that charles had his head cut off publicly and in front of everybody but you know it's my opinion that king james was probably england's greatest ruler and known as he was known as the solomon of king the of the king or excuse me he was known as the solomon king of england and again he was feeble physically but so people made him to be some kind of a queer or something but you know that does not he does not look like a queer in my opinion i mean obviously the the the clothing was like this royal apparel or whatever but like you know just minus that part of it his he doesn't look like queer right so i don't think he does anyway but uh you know and i just i just think that uh people want to want to demonize him because they hate the bible they hate god's word and so they want to say well king james is a homosexual that you know your bible's not very good that's what they want to say that's just not true that's that's not true so now mostly so he had when even when he was an adult he had he had to lean against people sometimes because his legs were so weak but that doesn't make somebody a queer just makes them disabled you know he was kind of you know he was kind of disabled a little bit physically so but i do believe that he was a saved man and you're like well pastor thompson why would you think that he's a saved man well i have the a couple of books that he wrote here and i just want to read you a passage about what he believed about salvation he's writing this this is called the basilica dorn it's called it's interpreted as the king's gift it's the book that he wrote to his son but it says you know he's basically instructing his son to live his life as a christian man first and as a king under god you know second basically he's just saying hey i'm advising you and i'm admonishing you to live the christian life so in one part of this page number 14 it says for the first part then a man's service to his god which is religion that is the worship of god according to his revealed will it is wholly grounded upon the scripture as i have already said quickened by faith and conserved by conscience for the scripture i have already spoken of it in general but that you may the more readily make choice of any part thereof for your instruction or comfort remember only this method so he kind of goes into the method of studying the bible and he breaks all the bible you know put into the poetry the law the prophets and just basically says if you want to you know learn how you're sinful read the the books of moses and and so on so forth and i don't have time to go through the whole thing i would you know if you're interested in history at all this is a really great book to read but obviously i don't have time to read the whole thing to you today and it's not a this is supposed to be a sermon and it's going to turn into one so just hang tight okay i just kind of want to give an overview of who king james was so here here's another excerpt from the book it says but because no man was able to keep the law nor any part of it please god please god of his infinite wisdom and goodness to incarnate his only son in our nature for satisfaction of his justice in the suffering for us that since we could not be saved by doing we might at least be saved by believing so what does it sound like he believed that you're saved by believing isn't that what we believe sounds me like he was saved and it says the ground thereof of the law of grace is contained in the four histories of the birth life death and resurrection of christ and so he's basically telling his son you know he's instructing him to read the bible and and and basically how to study the bible that in order to be a great king his son must be a great christian first and so i think that's you know to me that's wouldn't it be nice to have a leader in this country that actually believed that but and it is possible you know a lot of times we think well it's just impossible to have somebody that's a ruler that is a christian or is saved but you know in in this time period king james it sounds to me like he was saved doesn't it sound to you like he was amen so um and then you know he's called a calvinist people say well king james was a calvinist and maybe he was to a certain degree but uh you know it's funny he wanted to replace the heavily noted geneva bible that was basically oversaw overseen by uh john calvin himself in geneva it was translated in geneva and it was heavily calvinist in its notes so if king james was such a calvinist then why did he want to replace that with another authorized version and he really hated the notes in that bible and because it's just like it's just like a basically calvin's commentary on the bible so i mean i don't think he's as calvinist as people thought he was and sought to replace that bible king james was well educated speaking greek latin and french he wrote several books of course i mentioned that um including the authorized version is what he authorized he didn't write the book now people say that king james wrote the bible okay king james didn't write the bible number one god wrote the bible number two he put it in the hands of 54 scholars that were able to speak multitudes of different languages including greek and hebrew aramaic and syriac and all different types of ones that there were they could actually speak those languages to each other and a lot of times when they would get together in their translation groups they would just speak greek only that's how fluent they were show me somebody that translate the bible these days that can actually even speak greek at all they probably depend on lexicons and all kinds of other stuff but anyway i don't want to get into that yet um but uh i you know i believe that king james was set up by god for the time period that he arrived in and you know to unite the united kingdom and to you know obviously authorized the king james bible i think that uh after that was all this turmoil you had uh oliver cromwell who rose up and actually had the king murdered i mean basically over and guess what he was a calvinist he was a puritan and so you know and and after all that happened you know that's where parliament got all of its powers because of him and then he's the one that killed king charles um having his head cut off for some and some mock trial you know so it sounds to me like the calvinist you know wasn't a very good guy there so but uh about 15 years after his death he was accused of being a sodomite and again still maligned even today they'll say who are the lgbtq uh people that were kings and before i'm like king james is on that list or whatever it's just like so you're telling me that king james who wrote a letter to his son about how to be a godly king explain how you're saved and then explain to him how to study the bible you're telling me that a sodomite is the one that he was a sodomite that's just no sodomite is gonna sit there and write a letter to his son about how to be a godly king how to be saved how to study the bible that's just not gonna happen not gonna happen in a million years in fact he probably would have uh not had sons because well you know they can't reproduce they can only recruit now obviously they could if they you know just want to desire an heir or whatever but it doesn't set you know king james loved his family there's lots of uh he didn't marry other wives he just had one wife and he had multiple children so but you know people like i said people like to malign you know they want to malign people that are actually good they don't want to put king james in a positive light because then it would say then people would be like well if he was such a great king what was great about him well how about all the great things that he did and and the things that he believed in as a king but see when the country doesn't want to receive something like that then they're gonna just they're gonna go off and and do what they want and then god's gonna give them the king that they deserve see god gave him a king that was great and then what did they do they used uh you know the people are the ones that end up turning evil the people are the ones that end up not wanting that godliness they don't want to be ruled in such a way they want to replace the king with a parliament just like you know the united states wanted to replace king george as their king you know over some tea some tea taxes or something it's like that that's that's what look at our gas prices look at how much food is costing nowadays you know we're america was worried about a little tea tax i don't think that's what it was really about i think what it was really about was about seizing power and you know obviously becoming the tip of the spear for the one world government was the ultimate goal for the united states but that's another sermon i'll preach some other time so uh you know the black hebrew israelites are this group that believes that that black people are the descendants of the original tribe of judah and they say they just malign king james they hate king james and they'll just take any opportunity to to say that and they're i mean they're basically racist not basically they are racist they're like white people or the devil and black people and anybody that has like brown skin is is some tribe of the lost tribes of israel so right now you know white people are very demonized and i can understand why some people are upset and you know but this this whole thing about colonizers and how bad it is to be colonized well a lot of colonization helped people to get right with god it helped to get those countries right with god and going back to your heathen origins is not the right way to to move forward and and maybe there was some really bad people that did some really bad things but you can't just put you know you can't just reverse that and just say all white people are bad that's that's a ridiculous statement if you're a christian you should just believe that we're all one in christ jesus no matter what color your skin is because we all believe the same color it's red we all bleed blood we're all the same we just have different cultures and skin pigmentation and so on and so forth but you know black people hate king james uh not all black people i see i just did it right there but uh i mean these black hebrew israelites but also like i remember when i used to listen to hip-hop a long time ago this is a long time ago all right but ice cube had a song where he blasphemes god and he blasphemes the bible he blasphemes even king james himself and it's called when i get to heaven and he said you know basically he was saying that king james you know had relations with his mother and it just repeats that mantra why do people want to destroy the name of king james or the king james bible because they they don't want the truth to get out to people they want like when people hear that repeated over and over again someone that hears that song is going to think well hey king james had these relations with his mother king you know king james was bad and so therefore the bible that he you know authorized is bad also and you know music is is very ice cubes very wicked you know people think you know oh i like that song today i had a good day or whatever but he also has a song called when i get to heaven that totally blasphemes god blasphemes his word and talks wickedly about king james himself but he also talks bad about the father the son the holy ghost so it's just a you know people out there just want to malign king james for all these weird reasons but king james didn't know his father his father was king stewart lord um or henry stewart lord darnley is actually it was his title he was murdered when king james was an infant by a gunpowder explosion when james was eight months old so pretty strange how you know his father was killed they put two barrels of gunpowder underneath his room and blew it up and killed killed his dad when he's only eight months old and then he was 13 months old when you know he was he was taken away from his mother and he never saw his mother again his mother was again married queen of scots she was executed by queen elizabeth when he was 21 years old but he never saw her again after 13 months so pretty amazing you know the james king james grew up not ever knowing his real parents he was just raised by tutors and people that taught him and obviously god put people in his life to help him succeed because most people will not succeed without their parents but king james did even though he was a child that could bear you know he could barely walk he he had trouble walking he was weak but his mind was strong and king james was powerful in his words and wisdom but his body was weak and contemptible who does that remind you of the apostle paul right the apostle paul said my body's weak and contemptible you know and they say that they even said his voice was was you know they basically want to accuse him of having a squeaky voice or something but paul the apostle you know wrote over half the new testament he was a very great man of god very powerful preacher and so king james also helped standardize the english language the english language was not standardized until the authorized version was was put in and so punctuation and you know how you know sentences were structured in certain words you know english is a hard language to learn how to speak i think there's a lot of different words that mean the same thing which is kind of confusing to people it's confusing to me sometimes there's two there's two the word two t-o then t-w-o then t-o-o you know and then you know the letter two i don't know there's just a lot of words for a lot of everything it's pretty weird but anyway so but how to make king james or how to make england king james again is is really the title of the sermon i just wanted to give you a brief history about him and what a great man he was but i wanted to show like through his books the things that he believed and the things that he brought forth as a king in england and so the first book that he wrote was called the demonology book now in 1597 king james of scotland published a compendium on witchcraft called the demonology is what it was called and it was published in england in 1603 when james acceded to the to the english throne so he wrote the book before he went to the to the throne and it was a book about witchcraft and witches and i have the book here you're more than welcome to look through it at the end of the service and it basically just kind of talks and he references scripture about different witch things about witchcraft and things like that and he was definitely against it and i'm going to read you just this excerpt from this article and it's probably not in favor of him but i just wanted to read it anyway it says following queen elizabeth's death in 1603 there was no heir to the throne so england was left without a ruler james of scotland became or james the sixth of scotland became james one of england crown joining the crowns of england and scotland a personal union the english were excited about this significant event and wanted to know what king james would do for their country many were keen to learn more about him so they read the one book he wrote demonology following this they quickly discovered he was serious about hunting witches king james believed that there were witches all over scotland doing the bidding of satan now if you study anything about you know the these you know the british aisles or you know great britain or scotland or ireland you're going to find that there was pagans here that were before christianity arrived here and there were witches that were here there were people that were sacrificing their children to the devil there were you know all kinds of wickedness that's where basically halloween comes from is from here and uh it's celebrated you know what you know this sawan or whatever you call it was a big thing in ireland so but people try to make this time period out to be like well people were just really superstitious and accusing everybody of being witches and i and i do think that there was a hysteria that started over witches and witchcraft but it doesn't mean that there wasn't really witches and witchcraft going on okay so how do we make king uh england king james again well number one we should start getting rid of witches witchcraft and other occult arts again we should start doing that again if you want to make it like king james wanted it to be and how he did try to make it to be he wanted to get witches and witchcraft out of this land why because it's wicked it's evil and it's of the devil and so if you want to make this country better again maybe we should just get rid of all the witchcraft that's going on you're like well pastor thompson i don't really see that well you guys are christians you're obviously not around that kind of stuff as much or you separated from those things but who has been involved in these kind of things i mean i'm sure that there's people i don't want to embarrass anybody or anything but i'm sure there's people in here that have in some time in their life had something to do with occult type practices and witchcraft isn't there i mean you can nod your head if you want like yeah yeah there is so but and maybe you just don't realize that you have or maybe you don't realize that you are you could still be currently involved in this stuff and then you just don't even realize that you are but you know i so what it says following this they quickly discovered how serious he was about hunting witches king james believed there was witches all over while he was while he was certain that they were dangerous king james is talking about he was adamant that they should be prosecuted and punished by the proper authorities this is what's important here because this is what we get in trouble for all the time in our preaching is that we'll say some you know like you know the bible says in leviticus 2013 that homosexuals should be put to death that's what it says right and then people say well you guys are you know preaching violence and trying to get people to get violent that's not what we're teaching we're teaching what can you know king james taught that you know witches are dangerous and and he thinks that they were wicked and the bible teaches that they should be put to death but he was also that means he just really made sure people understood what he was trying to say or he tried to make them understand that they should be prosecuted and punished by the proper authorities that means there was supposed to be a real trial with real evidence at the end of that they would decide that the judgment would be decided whether they would be put to death or not now it's not his fault that people got all hysterical about it and went crazy with it and started allowing little children to be witnesses in courtrooms against their own parents and things like that that that kind of stuff happened because you know i mean obviously the king rules from one location it's not like it is today where you could just fly somewhere really quickly and be there you know and and probably these people were getting out of control and and putting these people to death that maybe didn't deserve to be put to death i'm not sure but one thing i do know sure is that king james was right that there was witches here and as a matter of fact in this book at the end it kind of it gives some people some evidence against people that were actually punished in scotland before he ever became the king of england that were known witches that would not uh you know they were still involved in those things and i want you to turn to exodus chapter 22 verse 18 exodus chapter 22 verse 18 it says in exodus 22 verse 18 and i didn't write the bible so i'm just going to tell you what it says it says thou shalt not suffer a witch to live now you're like well that's just your interpretation well it's pretty clear what it's saying isn't it it's not my interpretation that's what the bible says doesn't it it says thou shall not suffer suffer means to allow that shall not allow them to live once they're discovered to be witches like legitimate into sorcery and witchcraft and look every every culture around the world has this in it they have the temples and the places where they would sacrifice animals they have the places where they sacrifice human beings they would be involved in cannibalism they'd be involved in the occult every culture in this world has that in it and in africa they have witch doctors and in all different nations you know they call them in in america they call them uh shamans you know that's the they're basically just but they're sorcerers they're it's it's witchcraft and god says that you're not we're not supposed to suffer a witch to live when saul went to the witch at endor that was the end of his kingdom wasn't it why did god have allow saul to be killed because he went to seek a witch that had a familiar spirit and he was trying god would not speak to him anymore because he was angry with him and he basically stopped him from being he wanted him to be to be done being the king but the final straw with god the final nail in his coffin so to speak was the fact that he went and sought out a familiar spirit instead of just waiting for god to answer him and to do the right thing turn to deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 9 deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 9 the bible says deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 9 i'm just going to start reading as you get there when thou art come into the land which the lord thy god giveth thee thou shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations there shall not be found among you anyone that maketh his son or daughter to pass through the fire and that is exactly what it's what what it means people would kill and sacrifice their own children that's the isn't that how all these nations around the world were doing things they were killing and sacrificing their own children it says or that uses divination or an observer of times or an enchanter or a witch right or a charmer or a consultor with familiar spirits or a wizard or a necromancer you know these things were written far before king james was the king of england these things were written and and put and penned down by moses himself handed down by god himself god told moses to write these things down and he didn't stutter and it doesn't just mention which it matches it mentions everything to do with the occult here and a necromancer is someone that like goes to the dead to seek advice or or things like that a wizard you know wizard you know you have wizards familiar spirits familiar spirits are dev or people you know these people that are consultors with familiar spirits they're trying to conjure up your dead loved ones or whatever in reality what they're conjuring up is a familiar spirit and that word familiar obviously we use that in the english language just like hey are you familiar with this to me what that means is that these devils are familiar they've been walked you know they've been to and fro throughout the earth for thousands of years they probably know things about our history they probably know things about our family history so when you get one of these wicked people that are like trying to conjure something up they might know real details about your family history they might know where your aunt lost her her gold wedding ring or something and where to find it they you know and they use those things to try to entrap people so they can you know bring forth these wicked things into their lives and so that they'll instead of seeking god in their life they're going to seek these people that that are giving them what they want but in reality they're they're subjugating them under satanic rituals and and basically getting them to become with you know what they're being learned being taught from which is these wizards and witches and all this different stuff you're like well you know this stuff isn't really real pastor so you're talking about wizards the next thing you know you're gonna be talking about unicorns and you know all this other stuff well there is unicorns in the bible too but they're not the horses with this with the horns i don't think i think they're probably rhinoceroses or something but unicorns are in the bible okay dragons are in the bible and you know what dragons were they were just dinosaurs that were made at the same time adam and eve were made adam named them all he named those dragons okay so but the bible is very clear that witchcraft is something that's that's a death penalty situation and in england it was the death penalty up until the 1700s for witches now the problem with society is that when you allow these things to just continue to grow then then obviously then it's the country is overtaken by this kind of stuff and so do you think that there's wizards and witchcraft and things like that going on in england today do you think that there is there obviously is and there's a lot of it and like some of these people that were like you know killed under the witchcraft laws that were put it you know that they went through these trials and were put to death they have whole towns what's the one i'm gonna say it wrong it's is it lancaster how do you say it brother is it lancaster okay all right good i finally got something right i thought there was gonna be some kind of anyway so lancaster isn't like a famous place where witches are right where they did these witch trials they hung them and burned them and all these things but now if you go to those towns i guarantee you that there's going to be shops that are promoting witchcraft and all this stuff so in one hand they're saying like hey witches are you know you know they they went crazy with the witchcraft thing and started killing all these witches that weren't really witches but then we're going to have all these witchcraft shops that are open with crystal balls and healing crystals and and all the other stuff the the lucky candles and and the things so you can get your man you know these love potions and all this other stuff it's sold all over the country it's all it's sold all over the world and it's the bible condemns those practices as witchcraft as sorcery like if you're burning a candle and you pay this witch some money and you burn a candle to try to get someone to fall in love with you that's that's kind of weird like can't you just get somebody on your own or something you know just talk to them or something get them to you know you can get them to like you and hey if someone doesn't like you why would you want to force someone to to like you or whatever this is weird or to fall in love with you but uh the bible says in verse 18 here in deuteronomy 18 it says or excuse me in verse 11 it says or a charmer or a consultor with familiar spirits a wizard a necromancer for all that do these things are an abomination unto the lord and because of these abominations the lord thy god doth drive them out from before thee thou shall be perfect with the lord thy god and these nations which thou shalt possess hearkened unto observers of times and unto diviners but as for thee the lord thy god hath not suffered thee to do so so god's saying the reason one of the reasons why i'm casting all these Canaanites out of the land is because they did all these things all the things that were just listed i just read to you they were doing those things we're talking about the Canaanite culture in the middle east but that same culture existed here that same culture existed in china and still does and just all the nations of the world look satan that's one of his his main hooks is witchcraft and observing times and sorcery and think you know they want so this they they want to use the power of satan which is real satan's power is real there was people that were you know in the bible jans and jamborees were able to to produce some of the same miracles seemingly that moses was able to do with Aaron they were able to turn the water into blood they cast their their staffs on the ground they became snakes right you guys remember that in the bible and then moses and aaron's you know staffs ate the other ones or whatever but they were able to turn to do these things because why because they do really have power that's why god wants us to avoid them that's why god wants us to avoid those things because he has not suffered us to do these things he does not want us involved in these things and you know and king james realized that and he's like let's get these witches out of the land i'm going to write a book so that you know some of the trappings of witchcraft and that we should just you know we should put them on trial we should put them to death if they really are witches and you know now that would be unheard of you're there's probably some people in here right now going this guy is crazy i'm never coming to this church again or whatever but you know why would the bible say these things if they weren't true they are true you know they're true they're true today well pastor thompson how do you know they're true you can walk down a main street in this in any place in this in this area and you're going to find mediums occultists don't they have psychic palm readers and stuff like that here i'm sure they do they have them in america and i always pray that god would destroy that place and get rid of it and make them go out of business because we obviously cannot take the law into our own hands and go and start burning witches or whatever right so it's not within the power of our hand but you know what if there was a ruler in this country like king james maybe there'd be a little bit less witchcraft to deal with they're like well it's not really affecting me it is affecting us because even though i talked about all these things that i talked to this lady about on last wednesday but one of the things that she talked to me about was healing crystals you know people say that that's witchcraft because it is it's because it's part of witchcraft crystals don't heal you it's that's just rubbish and superstition right i'm starting to use your guys's words rubbish call that garbage right so second corinthians chapter 11 let's turn to second corinthians chapter 11 second corinthians chapter 11 see the devil can transform himself into an angel of light look what it says in verse 13 it says for such are false apostles deceitful workers transforming themselves into the apostles of christ talking about phony christians fake christians that don't really believe the truth and it says in no marvel don't don't let this be a marvel to you for satan himself is transformed into an angel of light see the hook that satan uses from the time that children are really little is things that are seemingly innocent right they're seemingly innocent the ouija board or ouija board however you want to pronounce it is like a board that just has letters and things like that you know that they sell that hasbro owns the rights to that it's a it's a game company and they sell that in stores for kids to buy and take home and play around with but it is an occult practice to use one of those boards and you know those practices can lead you to being demonically possessed you're like well i don't really believe that that exists believe me there is demonic possession that goes on just go downtown to the nutters that are down there and just watch and walk around for a little while i mean i'm sure in downtown london you have the the same type of things that we have in downtown portland or downtown vancouver where people are just like out of their mind you know screeching and you know talking to whatever just yeah you know you know what i'm talking about right you guys have those here i thought i saw one yesterday it's not as bad like you go to downtown portland it's just bad i'm sure downtown one has the same thing though because downtown one's a lot bigger than downtown portland but it says in verse 15 therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed into ministers of righteousness whose end be whose end shall be according to their works so like we shouldn't be marveling that you know satan would transform himself into something that looks light that looks like it's not that bad but you know packaging up witchcraft and putting it on the shelf as a game as a board game to play with it's not a board game to play with kids you stay away from that kind of stuff it is wicked it's a gateway to being possessed it's a cult in nature and we should stay away from it turn to revelation chapter 21 verse number eight revelation chapter 21 verse number eight i'm going to read second chronicles chapter 33 verse 6 second chronicles 33 6 says and he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of henim talking about manassa and he observed times and used enchantments and used witchcraft and dealt with a familiar spirit and with wizards and he wrought much evil in the sight of the lord to provoke him to anger see and god punished him for these things he had him captured but then also you you see manassa you know even though he did so many wicked things look witches are still able to be saved so if they're able to be saved that means that they're not reprobates necessarily all of them or whatever as we would call them because there's people in the bible they get saved they're in witchcraft now it doesn't mean it's not a punish a crime punishable by death it still is you know but that's not christian's jobs to do that you know we should try to get them saved if we can even though they're you know using their crystal balls or you know whatever they're doing we should still try to get them saved who in here has run into a door where someone was saying that they're into witchcraft ever ever in your time sowing okay lots of people somebody was just telling me was it miss anna it wasn't she didn't tell me but somebody was telling me that miss anna knocked on a door was it you miss anna and you knocked on a door and it's like somebody was literally about to sacrifice a chicken right right before she got there yeah but there's no don't worry there's no witches in the in the land there's nothing to worry about you know nothing to see here so revelation 21 verse 8 you know it it does condemn these things revelation 21 verse 8 condemns a person to death but you know we always read this verse to say well these are the types of people that go to hell but you know they are able to be saved okay so i want you to understand that people are able to be saved revelation 21 8 says but the fearful and unbelieving the abominable and murders and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone which is the second death and sorcery is the use of black magic to harm people you know people will say well there's you know there's good magic and there's bad magic there's black magic and there's white magic no it's all bad it's all bad magic okay because we're forbidden to use these things or forbidden to take practice in these things and like they have this whole religion called wicca or whatever wiccans and they're basically it's just like they're saying that they're these good witches or whatever but brother ene was showing me a an article saying that these people that were saying that they're white witches or whatever are dressing up in cloaks and daggers and sacrificing children and stuff i mean it happened how long ago was that like 15 years ago that the yeah and i'm sure there's all kinds of stuff like that that goes on every single day revelation 22 15 says for without are dogs and sorcerers and whoremongers and murderers and idolaters and whosoever loveth and maketh a lime witchcraft is tied to you know to sorcery sorcery it like i said is the practitioner of black magic and that's what witches do that's what witches are so there a lot of this stuff is used interchangeably but i want to show you a couple different scriptures let's look at acts chapter 8 verse 9 acts chapter 8 verse 9 there's a man named simon who was a witch he was a sorcerer and he was able to be saved in in acts chapter 8 says but there was a certain man called simon which before time in the same city used sorcery and bewitched the people of samaria giving out that he that himself was some great one to whom they all gave heed from the least to the greatest saying this man is the great power of god and to him they had regard because uh that of a long time he had bewitched them with sorceries so he wasn't doing good things he wasn't simon the good witch of the north or something he was bewitching them he was doing evil things to them with his sorceries and you know the bible is not going to just the bible is true and every word in it is right and so when it's talking about witches and sorcery it's talking about real things that happen this guy was a real person his name was even says his name was simon and he was a witch he was a wizard or whatever you want to call it and he was a sorcerer so he was using you know satanic practices to do bad things to people because he wanted to hold them under his thumb in some way shape or form and you know make them be afraid of his power it says but when they believe philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of god in the name of jesus christ they were baptized both men and women then simon himself believed also so if you believe are you saved yes you are simon himself believed also and he was baptized he he was even so saved that he actually continued with philip okay and wondered beholding the miracles and signs which were done now of course simon you know he tried he was he wanted to have that power for himself and tried to buy the power and then you know obviously he made some mistakes but you know simon got saved that's what the bible says and he was some kind of a wizard or something like that so then you of course you have the the acts chapter 16 where you have the woman that was possessed with the spirit of divination and then paul cast that devil out of her so so witchcraft is tied to satanic things it's not like you know they're apart from each other when it comes to witchcraft and sorcery it is just satanic there's no way around it it's not good in any way shape or form you know the wizard of oz lied to you there was no there's no such thing as glenn to the good witch of whatever there's no such thing as a good witch all right the only good witch according to the bible is a dead witch all right but or a witch that converts and gets saved okay so and i'm not again i'm not telling anybody to kill any witches or anything like that don't get crazy with me all right but in acts chapter 19 i'll have you turn to one one more set of scriptures about this acts chapter 19 so you have the seven sons of skiva and they try to cast these devils out and they're like paul we know jesus we know but who are thou and then he beats you know this demon-possessed guy beats them mercilessly and you know leaves them naked and wounded right and so you have in verse 18 or yeah it says in verse 17 and there this was known to all the jews and greeks also dwelling at ephesus and fear fell on them all and the name of the lord jesus was magnified so you know when god's power is introduced into people's lives people's lives are changed and so even a witch who experiences these types of things or some kind of you know person that is into satanic things they still can be saved you know god's word can have a great power on people and it says in verse 18 and many that believed came and confessed and showed their deeds many of them also which use curious arts brought their books together and burned them before all men there was a big book burning party and it was basically all their satanic black magic books and cure and books of curious arts things that are forbidden by god they burned them and you know why because you don't want these to move on to some other generation don't sell your books on amazon or ebay if you have some kind of book like that it should just be no longer in existence you're like well you're that's what adolf hitler did no adolf hitler burned like a bunch of pornography and maybe he did burn some books he didn't like but you know what there's no good book that's a book on witchcraft that we should just keep laying around in our house those things should be destroyed so that we so another generation can't get a hold of them but it said so mightily grew the word of the lord and prevailed so how would we apply this stuff to our lives i mean i i've kind of gone over a lot of things when it comes to uh witchcraft but how how would this kind of stuff apply to your lives well let me just ask you this are you suffering witchcraft or some kind of trinkets of of uh sorcery in your life you know maybe you don't even know what they are are you you know keeping nana's crystals from when she was alive or her trinkets or whatever things that would be considered uh occult type things because you know i i mean i my wife's grandmother kept the ouija board underneath her bed for years and like she was so attached to that thing but she got she ended up getting saved and i remember one time i just had this conversation about deuteronomy chapter 18 with her and like i'm just like trying to teach her something in the bible and she she got she destroyed it and got rid of it and my wife was like man what did you say to her to get her to get rid of that and i was just like just ready for the bible you know that this stuff is this practice is wicked so if there's something that's in your life that you're still attached to you know you don't want to have these attachments to occult the occult and witchcraft and things like that so um you know if you're involved in astro astrology remember the caldeans were into astrology and these people were you know these are things that are fit forbidden astrology is like when you believe that um you know that the stars and and the planets have something to do with your life but they actually just don't okay they don't you know i love that little meme that says the stars the the sun moon and stars how you know have nothing to do with your life and like all your horoscope it just keeps reading that over and over again for every day of the week but people open up a newspaper well if there's newspapers anymore but people used to open up the newspaper and they would find their daily horoscope in there so are you saying saying every person was born between those dates is having the exact same day as the other one that's just rubbish isn't it so you know but like what about harry potter uh-huh yeah what about harry potter harry potter is a big thing in england isn't it and harry potter's books are something that you know i'm sure a lot of you have read because you're you're you're british you know you're english or whatever but are you sneaking into the harry potter book still as a christian huh you watching the movies i hope not because look they're repackaging harry potter as a thing gear it's geared toward children's but it's so funny how so many adults are into it right it's like they're the adults are most almost more into it than the kids are in a lot of cases you know and you got all these books and you know it's basically turned england back to witchcraft again not not that they ever really came out of it after king james uh was annihilating it when he was the king but you know jk rowling's worth of 1.1 billion dollars you know why because she's repackaged witchcraft into something that is you know something that kids want to absorb i i worked at walmart when i was when when it was like at its zenith harry potter was like crazy going you know there was toys and all the shelves about it and stuff like that which just as a new christian that just vexed me to have to put those and straighten them back up in the shelves because around christmas time i remember this little kid walking up and grabbing one of those wands there i mean they would sell the harry potter wands you know they're selling things that kids want to pretend to be witches the broomsticks and everything and i always make jokes about how you know hey i got your new car or whatever to people women that would walk by but anyway i could have got in trouble for that but anyway uh you know those kids like takes his wand out and he like does some kind of spell in front of me or something i'm just like what in the world but you know those books do have real incantations in them so playing around with stuff like that it might seem innocent laugh you know it's just you know it's just good fun it's the books are good it's it's it's encouraging kids to read yeah about witches and witchcraft and then it also makes harry the the main character of the story out to be some good guy doesn't it but really in reality he's a wizard isn't he and what what's what should happen to wizards according to the bible supposed to be put to death aren't they so as christians we got to stay away from stuff like this and don't allow your children to dabble into these things because you know what they they're why does god tell us to stay away from it is it because it's good for us or because it's bad for us is it is is is witchcraft good for us or bad for us why does god say to stay away from things because they're dangerous to you like a good father he's going to teach his children to stay away from certain things that are going to harm you stay away from the stove son don't put your hands on the flame son or whatever hey you know don't you know whatever it is that a parent would keep your kids away from there's a lot of dangers in this world and parents have to keep their kids away from them naturally you'll do that around the house well how come a lot of parents won't keep their children away from witchcraft then how come parents won't keep their children away from stuff like this it's because they just you know people get to see we give into pressure don't we we give into pressure because of our our family members we give it a pressure because of television we get into pressure because of the bbc we get into pressure you know we give into all these pressures because there's a lot of pressure that comes upon christians and you know people don't want us to conform to the bible people don't want us to worship god and spirit and truth they want us to dabble into stuff like this and this is what always got the kings of israel in trouble they'd always throw all this stuff away but then they'd leave the high places wouldn't they so don't let harry potter be a high place in your life or these different kinds of trinkets and you know i was going to mention essential oils but i don't want to get in trouble but anyway i i don't really think it's witchcraft but it can be though if you just think that only essential oils can heal you and god's not the one that can heal you i mean you got to be careful about what what are you what are you believing about what can heal your ailments because king asa he said you know i'm going to just go to the doctors and the physicians and let them heal me and then he didn't go to god instead he's supposed to you're supposed to go to god with your stuff about your physical ailments not into oils and ointments necessarily and obviously those things are good for you they can help you or whatever but you know just make sure you're not dabbling into something that's you know witchcraft repackaged into christianity because there's a lot of stuff like that like the daniel diet if you just eat only pulse if you just only eat vegetables and drink water then you'll be fairer and fatter than in face than other people but that was a miracle from god that's not a diet that's you know if you want to do that to lose weight then do that to lose weight but don't say that's going to heal your cancer it's going to heal your brain tumors and all this stuff because that is just people just putting wizardry into you you know i mean in reality getting cancer treatments from modern technology is is a lot more effective than trying to do it your own way i know that's not a very popular thing to say but it's a fact okay and and some people just want to do it their own way you do what you want but i would say this that you need to stay away from the things that would be considered witchcraft repackaged so i'm out of time it's 12 it's 12 15 the stuff's about to come so i'm gonna have to try to work this on to one great big point in my next sermon and but what i want to talk about after we come back is basically the i'm going to get into the divine rights of kings and also you know what what it takes to be a good ruler and i believe that king james had those things nailed down so again when it comes to witchcraft king james was totally against witchcraft he wrote a whole book about it you know i believe like i said that king james was a great king and he put forth some great teachings and great doctrine but he was a king he was a ruler of people and you know what if if england wants to get back to being a christian nation which i'm not sure if they do or not but i know the people in this room want this country to be turned back into a christian nation i mean it's probably never been a holy christian nation but you know king james was a great king and he ruled with you know the bible as his guide i mean i just read you some of the things that it said about him but he ruled with the bible as his guide and he wanted to pass that knowledge on to the next generation didn't he wanted he wanted to pass that stuff on to his children that's what i'm going to talk about in the next sermon and you know obviously he passed on the great legacy of the king james bible for us so um you know we need to get on the right track in in in england and how's that going to happen hard preaching you know going out and winning the lost which is what we're going to try to do today and you know us banding together as you know we're this is a small team here but as a small team we can do great things for god and maybe just maybe we can turn at least some of the people back to the lord and maybe we can make uh king we can get a king like king james again to rule this nation i know it's a long shot folks and i know that charles probably isn't who you you know he's not the king that you want him to be but maybe he will maybe he could be uh maybe he'll uh pass on quickly and maybe there will be a godly leader that can rule this nation as it's supposed to be ruled so let's go ahead and have a word of prayer and then uh we'll finish don't forget about the picture okay all right lord we thank you so much for this wonderful day we pray that you just bless each and every person that's come here today and lord i've talked about some things that are you know probably controversial it's not controversial to me lord it's not controversial to some people but maybe it is controversial controversial to some people in here and lord i pray that you just uh if there's anybody here that's just not saved today i pray lord that they would take the time to understand that you died for them and that you rose again for them so they could be saved i pray that you would just not let anybody just walk out of here today without knowing whether they're going to heaven or not and lord we pray that you would bless the food that's to come and all the things done in your name here today in jesus name we pray amen
