(Disclaimer: This transcript is auto-generated and may contain mistakes.) We're going to start a series in Romans here soon, but this is kind of a stand-alone sermon. So let's look down at our Bibles at verse number 17. It says, Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them. The Bible teaches that we're supposed to mark certain people that would cause divisions within our churches. We're supposed to mark people that cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which we have learned that we need to avoid them. So that could be people in churches that creep in and try to steer people in the wrong way. But in the context of what I'm preaching today, I'm talking about false prophets that we should avoid and that we should steer clear of. Look at verse number 18. It says, For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. So there's people out there that they call themselves followers of Christ. They call themselves saved. They call themselves believers. But in reality, they're not. They teach doctrines that are contrary to the doctrines that we've learned. They teach doctrines that are contrary to this book right here. And how do they do that? Well, they deceive with good words and fair speeches, and they deceive the hearts of the people, and they deceive the hearts of the simple. That's why I've been talking about how don't be simple-minded. You've got to get knowledge, and you've got to get wisdom from this book. Otherwise, those people can fool you. Otherwise, those people can trick you with their fair speeches and good words. And I know that there's people that will listen to false prophets and think they're saved that are saved Christians. Because I get hate mail pretty much every week, every day about my Billy Graham sermon when I preached that he was roasted in hell, right? So Friday, Rabbi Zacharias, if that's how you pronounce it, Rabbi Zacharias died, and the world is mourning over him and all this other stuff. But I'll tell you who's not mourning today. I'm not mourning the death of Rabbi Zacharias because I think that he died and went straight to hell. And you know what I say? Finally. But people are going to get upset about this sermon. But I just want to say this right from the very get-go that, look, I'm not, you know, the title of the sermon is Why Rabbi Zacharias is Roasting in Hellfire, OK? That's the title of the sermon. But why am I preaching that? Is it clickbait? No, it's not clickbait. Because when you click on clickbait, it's usually not what the picture on the video is showing, OK? But the picture on the video that's showing on this one and the title of the sermon is going to be exactly what I preach. And it's not going to be clickbait. It's going to be I'm clicking and guess what? Everything that the title says is going to be preached about, OK? So anyway, the people just, you know, and then I know for sure that there's many people going on there. How dare you say that about Ravi, Ravioli, how dare you say that about him? He was a great teacher. He was, you know, he's way better than you. You're fat. He's skinny. You know, they're going to say all kinds of stuff like that, right? Because when they can't tear down your message, they're going to tear you down. And when they can't tear down the things you say, they're just going to say, judge not, you know, how dare you judge? Well, you know, the Bible says we're supposed to judge. There's a book called Judges where people judge people in that book. You know, the Bible says we're supposed to judge righteous judgment. And so today I and look, I know that probably if you've never heard of him, just take the principles that I'm going to be preaching out of this sermon and apply those to anybody that you would listen to or anybody that someone says, hey, you should listen to this guy. And then, you know, hey, I'm going to know how to diligently find out whether the spirit that he's preaching from is the right spirit. OK, so I am going to read a few things about about the man himself. And again, look, I think he went straight to hell. I think he was a false prophet. I don't think he taught the truth about salvation. I don't think he taught the truth about the Bible. And look, you know, if you don't even preach from a right Bible version, you know, in my mind, you're a false prophet. So and I'll prove that to you. But anyway, let's look at some of the things about Ravi Zacharias. He was born 26th of March, 1946. He died the 19th of May, 2020. Amen. And was an Indian born Canadian American Christian apologist. Can any good thing come out of Canada? I don't know. Just kidding. He definitely wasn't good. But he was author of more than 30 books on Christianity, including the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association's Gold Medallion Book Award winner. Can man live without God in the category theology and doctrine, as well as Christian bestsellers Light in the Shadow of Jihad and the Grand Weaver? Zacharias was a founder and chairman of the board of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. Well, he doesn't have an ego or anything, does he? Host of the radio programs, Let My People Think and Just Thinking. Now, if you've ever used to listen to Christian radio, you know, there's chances are you would turn that on in the middle of the day sometime. And this clown's preaching. OK. And I wouldn't even call it preaching. It's just more like he's talking, you know, because he's one of those intellectual, you know, people that are intellectual, seem to like him. And he comes across as this intellectual guy that uses a lot of logic and reasoning for things. And he's called a Christian apologist. OK, so do you know what? Now, look, people say, well, apologists, I'm not apologizing for anything. You know, I'm a Christian. All right. So and I agree with that. I'm not here to apologize. You know, but but listen to what the definition of apologist is. Apologist is a person who offers an argument in defense of something controversial. So basically, he's he's one of the he was one of those people that offers argument to defend Christianity. All right. Because it's controversial. Well, and I would say that Christianity is controversial to a certain extent. But the Bible says in First Timothy 3 16 and without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached under the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. The Bible says it's not controversial. It's without controversy. It's a fact. Christianity is a fact. And Jesus Christ being the son of God is a fact. Him dying on the cross, being buried and raised to the dead. That's a fact, Jack. All right. It's a fact. Jack, how you doing? It's a fact, though. So, look, I don't feel like I need to defend Christianity because it's controversial. I I just I defend the faith, obviously, because there's people like this guy that will come in and try to overthrow the faith of some. There's people like this guy that don't preach out of even a right Bible version and calls himself an evangelist. OK, how are you going to evangelize if you don't have the right book? How is that possible? Anyway, so here's some more about him. Zacharias was born on 26th of March, 1946, in Madras in India. His family moved to Delhi, where he was quite a young man. He grew up there. His family was Anglican, and he was a skeptic until the age 17, when he tried to commit suicide by swallowing poison. Too bad he just didn't happen. But anyway, while he was in the hospital, a local Christian worker brought him a Bible and told his mother to read to him from John 14, which contains Jesus's words to Thomas the Apostle. Zacharias said it was John 14, 19 that touched him as a defining paradigm because I live. You also will live. And that he thought that this might be my only hope. A new way of living. That's not like salvation to you. A new way of living. Isn't that doesn't that seem like it's works? I don't know. I just jumped out at me. Life is defined by the author of life. He committed his life to Christ. So I mean, and I guess bad terminology could be there. Look, people are going to scrutinize this sermon because they're going to say, well, you didn't have enough evidence to accuse him of being a false prophet. But is that really clear on how he got saved? I mean, I don't think it was so praying that Jesus, you're the only way one who gives life as it is meant to be. I want it. Please get get me out of this hospital bed and I'll promise I will leave no stone unturned in my pursuit of truth. So, you know, but the funny thing is he wasn't led into truth, was he? He was led to in 1966. He immigrated with his family to Canada. The first mistake, not just earning his undergraduate degree from the Ontario Bible College, 1972. Now Tyndale University and is an administrative divinity or master of divinity, master of divinity from Trinity International University, 1976, 1990, participated in guided study of Ridley Hall, a Church of England theological school in Cambridge. So are you part of the Church of England in here? What is the Church of England teach? They're basically just Catholic life. And this guy calls himself an evangelical, which means that he's part of the reformers type of churches. OK, so I just you know, I want to bring some brief things about his beliefs and some synopsis of his beliefs and point by point, just kind of show you some things that this isn't an all inclusive sermon about everything he did wrong and all that stuff. But I just want to show you some of the stuff that to me is enough evidence that he's a false prophet. So anyway, it says that Zacharias was a frequent keynote lecturer within the evangelical community at events, including the Future of Truth Conference 2004, the National Religious Broadcasters Convention Exposition 2005, the National Conference of Christian Apologetics 2006. On successive nights in October 2007, he addressed first the students and faculty of Virginia Tech when the community of Blacksburg, Virginia, on the topic of the evil and suffering in the wake of the Virginia Tech massacre. Zacharias has represented the evangelical community at occasions such as the National Day of Prayer. OK, in Washington, D.C., the annual prayer breakfast at the United Nations and the African Union Prayer Breakfast Maputo Mozambique and was named honorary chairman of the 2008 National Day of Prayer Task Force. Does it sound like he's like hanging out with, you know, Bible believing Christians or does it sound like he's ecumenical? Sounds like he's ecumenical to me. You know, I don't think I haven't I still have not yet gotten my invitation to the International Prayer Breakfast before and the annual prayer breakfast at the United Nations. They haven't invited me. I don't know why, you know, but you know, they invite they invite false prophets to those things. They invite all different types of faith, whatever they are. You know why? Because the United Nation has an agenda to have a one world government, a one world religion and a one world world ruler. And his name is going to be the Antichrist. Listen, listen to what else he did. He also participated in the Ecumenical Together Conference in 2016 meetings in July 2016. And you know what? Pope Francis, you know, he he said that was a great meeting. That was that was a valiant effort to be ecumenical. Listen to what it is. It's the ecumenical together movement meetings where they had all kinds of different music playing. You know, it's like being a Nebuchadnezzar statue or something. You know, all when all different kinds of music began to play and, you know, all different kinds of preachers that are not solid on doctrine at all. There are a bunch of TBN false prophets and things like that. And that's what the kind of things that he would go to. So turn over to Revelation chapter 13, verse 11. Let me show you a verse here real quick, because, look, these false prophets, they can seem like they're good. You know, Joel Osteen, you look at him and you think, man, you know, he's got the great teeth. He's got the great smile. You know, he's got a great suit on. He looks. Does he look like a dragon when you look at him? No, he doesn't look like a dragon. He looks like a sheep, doesn't he? Looks like a nice, meek person or whatever. But here's what Revelation 13, 11 says. It says, And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. See, there's these people that are false prophets. They might look like a lamb. They might sound like a lamb, like they're all, you know, soft and they're preaching and, oh, brother. And, you know, they just have that lingo down. But what they're saying is like a dragon. What they're saying is like a devil. The devil represents, a dragon represents the devil. And so this is the false prophet that it's talking about here. But look, all false prophets are like that. All, you know, false prophets aren't going to come out and dress in demon costumes and then try to preach to people. They're going to come out looking like a lamb. They're going to come out looking like somebody that follows Christ. But in reality, they speak like a dragon. So look, and I'm just going to go over his salvation belief right now. So what is his salvation? What is Ravi's salvation belief? Well, right now, you know, his belief is the true belief, probably because he's roasted in hell and realizing he was wrong. Right. But what is his belief? Well, the sad thing is I couldn't find it. So, yeah, just do a Google search and try to find what Ravi Zacharias believed about salvation. You're not going to find it because it doesn't have it on his main page of his ministry. It doesn't have like if you just search every I mean, if you just do an initial search on someone's beliefs, usually you can find out pretty quickly what they believe. But if you have to search page after page after page on Google and then you click on video after video where he's supposed to be saying what he believes about salvation and it never ends up saying what he believes, then that means he's hiding something. That means he's in his he's keeping information from us because he wants to be so vague that he wants people to listen without saying, oh, this is what he believes. Well, then I'm not going to listen to him. He wants you to listen to him. And so that's why he's so was so vague about what he believed. You know, you can't hardly find anything about what he believes about salvation. And look, even if you can find a clip that says that he believed it was salvation by faith alone, you know, Billy Graham has the same clips out there. But what did he believe? You got to repent of all your sins and basically you got to stop sinning. I mean, there's a lot of evidence against Billy Graham. You can't really find a lot about Ravi Zacharias. And maybe he just learned a lesson from Billy Graham and stepped up his false prophet game. Because, look, if you're an evangelist and you want people to know what how to be saved and what the gospel is, don't you think you should put what it is on your statement of faith? Or don't you think you should put it what it is in your preaching? I mean, if you call yourself an evangelist, don't you think people should be able to get evangelized off your off of what you say? But what it is is that he just wants to be vague. These kind of people want to be vague so that you don't know what they really believe. So and I just think that that's a bunch of garbage and not just to me. To me, that might prove to you. Well, well, Pastor Thompson, you're going off the deep end. You're saying that because you can't see what he believes about salvation, that he's not saved. Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying. Because, hey, if he if he was right about it, why would he just proclaim what the truth is? You know, even false prophets put on a lot of false prophets will put on what they believe about salvation and the wrong. But he's so slick, he doesn't want to put anything so that nobody will be upset with what he preaches. OK, so and he was also the first evangelical preacher to preach at the Mormon Church, the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake, Utah, in over 100 years. OK, so what can we learn about him so far? Well, you know, he's attached to ecumenical movement where he's interfaith. OK, that's what it means is that you're involved in interfaith things. So you don't have a problem sitting next to the Jews. You don't have a problem sitting next to the Catholics. You don't have a problem sitting next to the Hindus. Have you ever seen like a march in design where all those people are up on the stage at the, you know, with the pope? And it's like got all these different faiths. And that's that's what it is. That's what ecumenical is. OK. And he said there, he says, you know, we have our differences when he's talking to the Mormons, but we have to cultivate a great common cause. OK, so what is he saying? He's saying, well, I know we have our differences, which he never mentioned when he preached there. But he said, I want to I want to focus on the things that we can come together about. That's what he was all about. So, you know, what do we have to do with the Mormons? I mean, I've let two Mormon missionaries sit in our service as long as they didn't say anything to anybody. They but they got up and walked out after the service was over, said, hey, it was great service, whatever. But as far as me going there and not preaching what I believe is true, if they would have started to preach to people, I would say, get the hell out of here right now. But anyway, so I we have we should have nothing to do with Mormons. We should have nothing to do with Jehovah's Witnesses. We should have nothing to do with Seventh-day Adventists. Why? Because they're cults, because they're false. And we shouldn't have anything to do with any false prophets. We should never have fellowship with false prophets. We should not promote them in any way. I don't care what the cause is. I'm not going to promote a false prophet for any reason. Knowingly anyway, because you never know. Sometimes people are false prophets. You just don't realize it. So what's the Bible say? Let's turn to Second John, chapter nine, turn over to Second John, chapter nine or verse nine. Excuse me. Here's some chapter nine. Second, John nine Bible says, whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the father and the son. If there come any unto you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed. For he that bideth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. So any time a Mormon comes to your door, do not invite them into your house. Any time a Jehovah's Witnesses come to you, do not invite them into your house. If a Seventh-day Adventist comes to your house, do not invite them into your house. You know why? Because the Bible says that you're not supposed to receive them into your house. And look, that goes for any false prophet. You know what people do, how people receive in 2020, how they receive false prophets into their house without even having to physically be there? Through the television. And so if you're not supposed to receive them in your house physically, how about not receiving them in your house through a television or through some computer monitor or something? Now, I'll have to look to see what they believe and things like that to study. But I do that study so you don't have to. So look, we're not supposed to receive them into our house through the television or through them coming to our house, period. You know why? Because then we're not supposed to bid them God speed. We're not supposed to say, God bless you, brother. Have a great day. Thanks for coming. We just agree to disagree. Now, you know what I do as I rip them a new one and then they want to leave. Sometimes I'm nice, but I still tell them the truth. You know, and if they're coming to be with another gospel, they're a curse, the Bible says. So look, if you're mean to them, you know, but they're going to I don't want them to take it like we're persecuted, brother. That's you know, this is why we're being persecuted. I want them to know that they believe a lie. They believe lies and it's straight from hell and that they're going to go to hell for preaching a false gospel. So look, we're not supposed to bid them Godspeed because guess what? We're partaker of their evil deeds. So guess what? If you tell them Godspeed, brother, God bless, then you're God is holding you responsible for being a partaker and what they're partaking in. What are they partaking in? Sending people to hell, giving a false gospel, preaching lies. And you know what? We're not supposed to have anything to do with them. We're not supposed to have anything to do with them. And we're not supposed to tell them to God bless you. So why? So why would Robbie Zacharias go to the Mormon tabernacle to preach to Mormons and then not tell them the truth? Well, because he's not of the truth. That's why he wants to come together with them and have ecumenical services with them and crack jokes and tell about how much he respects the leader there and all this other stuff. And then at the end, he tells them, God bless you. At the end of his sermon that he preached there, which was weak, he gets up and says, God bless you to that congregation. So guess what? He's partaking of their evil deeds. So that's why we're not supposed to say God bless you. Yesterday, I was at the door of the Jehovah. Jehovah's false witness answered the door. And he was fairly nice, but it looked like he had his shirt and tie on, like he was ready to go out and knock some doors or something. But when I asked him if he wanted to hear the gospel, he said, no, thank you. And I said, OK, all right. And then he said, God bless you. And I just said, nothing. I didn't say God bless you because I was like, I don't want to be partaker of his evil deeds. I mean, I don't know for sure if he was a false prophet, but, you know, he was Jehovah's witness and he didn't want to hear what I had to say. He wouldn't even take my invitation. So that means he's indoctrinated into what they believe and he's part of their cult. So what else did Ravi Zacharias do? Well, he literally called Joyce Meyer a great Bible teacher to her face on. I mean, you could look it up and see where he said it. He said that she's a great Bible teacher. Well, first thing, she shouldn't even be a Bible teacher at all. You know, he goes on her show and he calls her a great Bible teacher. He's friends with Billy Graham when he was alive. So, look, birds of a feather flock together. It's just a fact. You know, I know that's in second opinion chapter two, but it still holds true. A lot of times you hang out with who you're like or you become like the people you hang around. So I would say that, you know, that these are gigantic red flags to me as far as him being a false prophet. Here's another thing. He was loved by the world. You know, everybody's so sad that Ravi died. Oh, poor Ravi. You know what? They should be rejoicing, you know, because we're going to rejoice someday when we wash our feet in the blood of the wicked. We should be rejoicing when a false prophet dies and goes to hell. I mean, obviously, I'm not you know, God doesn't have any pleasure in the death of the wicked, but we should be glad that they're not here to promote their false doctrine and their lies to other people. It's murdering souls because I mean, what was the influence he had? He had influence over millions of people. 40,000 people would show up to hear and preach. Now I know that I'm going to get this comment too. Well, you're just jealous because he was a great man of God and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Look, I'm not jealous of him at all because you know what? I'm going to heaven when I die and he is in hell. So I'm not jealous of that. So anyway, he was loved by the world. Ravi Zacharias had all these people that loved him, including the Mormons. And he was a famous and popular preacher. But what does the Bible say about that? Well, let's look at Luke Chapter 6, verse 26. What did Jesus say when everybody likes us? You know, because if everybody liked me on every YouTube comment, I would probably think maybe I'm a false prophet. But not everybody likes me. A lot of people don't like me, as a matter of fact. That's because I get to preach the truth. I get up and preach what the Bible says. And people don't like that, you know, because all they know is judge not. And you should love everybody. That's like basically their their whole theology. But look, the Bible says Luke Chapter 6, verse 26 says, woe unto you when all men shall speak well of you. For so did their fathers to the false prophets. So why did why did Jesus say that? Because, you know, if you're one of those people that everybody says, oh, I love him, he's so great, blah, blah, blah. You know, they did that about the false prophets, too. So he's saying, hey, false prophets are loved by everybody. And so when what did Jeremiah go through? Nobody loved Jeremiah. Everybody hated Jeremiah. Everybody wanted Jeremiah to die. Even his own family members were plotting to kill him. Jeremiah was ill treated by everybody. You know, and so that's the opposite of what Jesus is saying here. Not all men spoke well, Jeremiah. Everybody was, you know, Jeremiah, I'm sure it was pretty hard when everybody hated what he was about to say. That's a that's hard. That's hard to get up in a place where everybody hates what you're about to say. You still preach it anyway. That's a true prophet. That's a man of God right there. So here's what he says concerning the church. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the community of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, everlasting life. I agree with some of that stuff. But he says we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church. Now, there's a little asterisk next to it that didn't used to be there, but because people gave him a hard time about saying he was Catholic. So then at the bottom, there's like a little, you know, where his asterisk was is like him explaining how he just believes in a universal church. And so not necessarily Catholic as in, you know, all the things that the Catholic Church does. But guess what? That's what Catholic means. It means universal church. And that's what the Roman Catholic Church calls itself the universal church. And look, I couldn't be so any further than disagreeing with that. I mean, that's a wicked teaching. It's not right. It's false doctrine. So why do I think Ravi Zacharias is a false prophet? Well, first of all, he can't even find out what he believes about salvation. He's ecumenical. He was loved by the world. And also he called himself a Catholic, a universal church believer. And basically he's saying that everybody that says the name of Christ or whatever is in all in one church. Is that true? Is that what the Bible teaches? You know, I can disprove that really easily and I'm going to do it for you right now. So turn to Galatians chapter one. Look, I'm just turning to a few different things in the Bible that disprove this thing that we are one great big church and we're all members of this one big church. It's not true. Galatians chapter one verse one says, Paul an apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ and the God, the father who raised him from the dead and all the brethren which are with me unto the what? What's it say there? Churches. Is churches plural or is that singular? Horrible. That means there's more than one church in Galatia. So right there, just that verse alone wrecks the fact that there's supposedly this universal church of all believers. That's not true. Now one day there will be, you know, all the people will be in one accord up in heaven, but right now that's just not the truth. And the Bible says unto the churches of Galatia. Now turn to Acts chapter 15 verse 41, Acts chapter 15 verse number 41. If it was just one church, don't you think Paul would use the word church every time and never have a poor, I mean the word churches is found many times in the Bible. Well look at Acts chapter 15 verse 41. It says, and he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches, not one church, not confirming the church, confirming the churches. So that means that Ravi Zacharias' view about the church is wrong. So if everything that he believes is false, then how is he a good man of God? If everything that he believes or teaches is not true, wouldn't that make him false? I mean, I think that that makes him false. Romans chapter 16, I won't have you turn there. That's our text that we read. It says, salute one another with a holy kiss. Now don't do that to me, right? The churches of Christ salute you. The churches of Christ salute you. That means, it's plural, that means there's more than one of them, not just one big universal church. First Corinthians seven verse 17 says, but as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches. It was just one church. What did he just say? And so ordain I in the church, the one big universal church. That means that the apostle Paul did not believe that doctrine. He did not teach that doctrine. And that doctrine is false doctrine. And look, the Roman Catholic church is a false church. It's pagan. It's not a Bible believing church. You know, that the kid I got saved yesterday, when I was out soul winning, he, his dad was Catholic. And one of the things I told him, I said, I was going over what sin is. I told him, I said, bowing down and worshiping statues is idolatry. And he didn't understand that. And so I had to go back and explain that to him. But that's what I, and what are the, what are the Roman Catholics do? They worship idols, they bow, they make graven images. They worship graven images. I had to tell him about Mary, how Mary he's like, so we're not supposed to pray to Mary. I was like, no, you know, there's only one God, one mediator between God, man, the man Christ Jesus. It's not Mary. So what does he believe concerning the Bible? And to me, I think this is the most damning evidence of all. You know, I can't, you're right. I can't produce his statement on what he believes it takes to be saved because he doesn't put it out there, which makes me think it's not right. But anyway, because it was right, he put it out there. You know what? On our, on our church website, you can go to our statement of faith and it says exactly what we believe about everything. We're an open book at this church. You know, I'm tired. You know, I hear this about statements of faith. We shouldn't judge churches by their statements of faith. And look, I understand why people say that, but isn't it the pastor's responsibility to make sure that the statement of faith is right? I mean, if that's your church that you're the head, not the head up, but you're the person in charge of the church, don't you think that the statement of faith should be right? And if someone sees something wrong in your statement of faith and it's not the right doctrine, don't you think that you're responsible to change that and not to just let it ride and then have more people call you and ask questions about it? You know, I don't have a problem with someone looking at my statement of faith and judging what I believe based upon that. I want people to look up our website and say, Hey, what do they believe? Oh, homosexuals and abomination. And you know, we don't allow homos to be in this church. I want them to know before they come, they can't blink, blink, blink. They're breathing. They can't bring their little faggot cousin in here to hang out at the church and molest other kids or whatever. They can't bring their brother or sister who's a queer in here and try to get them saved because they can't be saved. I don't want them in here. And I tell them that by my statement of faith on the church website, what do we believe about the Jews? What do we believe about the rapture? Everything that we believe pretty much is on there. That's major doctrines. And look, I understand that not everybody that has a bad statement of faith is bad, but I'm just saying that isn't it your responsibility to make sure that it's right? Anyway, concerning the Bible, this is what they believe about the Bible. This is what Ravi put in his statement of faith. So he put something in his statement of faith about this says, we believe the old new testaments to be the infallible word of God inerrant. Hey, I believe that too. As originally given. So what's he saying? He's saying that the Bible, this Bible we have right here isn't the originally given Bible. Isn't it? Know what he's saying? So right there, doesn't that just make you have doubt? Wouldn't that make you have doubt in the word of God that there's, that we have the true word of God? So let me ask you this because people are gonna, people are going to attack me on this and they're going to say, how dare you call him a false prophet? I'm going to say, how dare you call him a good person? How dare you call him a good man when he doesn't even believe the Bible? He believes in the original manuscripts. So apparently the 10 commandments are null and void because Moses destroyed those on Mount Sinai. He destroyed those and had to make it. God had to make another copy. So what is there something lost in translation off the second group of stones? How about when Jeremiah had his script that the book of Jeremiah read to the princes and Kings and then one of his guys came and cut it up with a pen knife and threw it in the fire. So I guess that's the only original manuscript he believes about Jeremiah. All the rest is, we're not really sure if that's really true or not. How is that person a prophet of God? How is that person in evangelist? How is that person an apologist for God and calls himself a Christian when he doesn't even believe the Bible? It says verbally inspired by God, the complete and sufficient revelation for his will for salvation and conduct. But if you don't have this, if you don't have the right books, if you can't trust what we have right now, then how are you going to get saved and how are you going to have the right kind of conduct? Turn to first Peter chapter one. These are my hobby horse verses for this right here, but I'll tell you what, these are the most clear verses about the word of God in my opinion when it comes to this subject. How are you going to be born again if you don't even have the right word of God? See we believe at this church the King James Version is the best version and the infallible inspired word of God in English. And so we don't believe that there's salvation in these other modern Bible versions because why? Because they're different. They change, they change things, they change doctrine, they change the salvation versus themselves. So how are you going to get saved out of something that's really not God's word? First Peter one 23 says being born again. What did Jesus say? You must be born again. Okay. Not this one says not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible. So is corrupted Bible translations going to get people saved? They say well let's talk about Jesus. Well yeah Jesus is the word of God isn't he? Okay. But anyway not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible. So look I believe that this book here is incorruptible. I believe it's the word of God and it has power and it's been translated faithfully and it's gotten many people saved. It got me saved. So where's all the people that burned at the stake for the NIV? Where's all the people that burned at the stake for the NASB? Where's all the people that burned at the stake for the New World Translation? Where's all the people that died for all these modern Bible versions? They're not there because nobody died for those versions because they're false. How are you going to take that translation and act like that's something you should rest your head on? That you should rest your salvation on when it hasn't been passed down the right way. This book has been was was banned in all these different countries. It's still banned in all different countries all around the world. Why? Because it's true? Because people died to make sure that it was faithfully translated. William Tyndale rode around on a horse from place to place translating off the back of a horse and he did a really good job because he was really smart and he learned all that he knew all these languages. But you know his translation still wasn't perfect. But you know what? He burned at the stake because he wanted to make sure that everybody could get a copy of the Word of God. How many people from the NIV editing place got burned at the stake for translating into the NIV? If that's the Word of God, don't you think people would hate it? It came straight from the basement of Rome. Came straight from the basement of the Catholic Church. It came straight from a monastery from in supposed Mount Sinai in a trash can. You're telling me that was the Word of God? They burned a bunch of the leaves of it supposedly. That's a whole other topic of discussion. But anyway look the Word of God is incorruptible and that's how you get born again by the incorruptible Word of God. By the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever. Look at verse 24 says, for all flesh is as grass and the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, the flower thereof falleth away, but the Word of the Lord endureth forever. Not in the original manuscripts. The Word of the Lord we have right here. Just right in that. And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you. So this Word of God is the Gospel that's preached unto you. It's not some original manuscript that we don't have anymore. We don't have the original manuscripts. You know why? Because it's not important to have the original manuscripts. Because as long as we've had a faithful translation, as long as we've had that we have the true Word of God which you know turn to Psalm chapter 12. I'll show you what God promised to preserve a perfect Word of God for us. Psalm chapter 12 verse number six the Bible says, the words of the Lord are pure words as silver tried in a furnace of earth purified seven times. It's so pure it's been purified seven times. There's no dross in it. There's no mistakes in it. There's nothing wrong with it. Look at verse seven, thou shalt keep them oh Lord thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever. This generation forever. How long is forever? It's everlasting right? There's going to be a perfect Word of God forever. Forever. His words are settled in heaven forever. And so look God is faithful and he's given us a translation that we can trust. He's given us a translation that's right. So my question to you is, these people that promote false Bible versions and the Bible says that they're corrupted. They're not getting people saved. So let me tell you this, if Rabbi Zacharias did not use the King James Bible then he wasn't getting people saved. I mean does that does that make sense? So if he's going around preaching out of a false Bible version his whole ministry then he so he's like I'm going to seek the truth for the rest of my days. Well he really failed in that area didn't he because he didn't find the King James Bible. You know yeah he didn't find right doctrine on the church. He didn't find you know the the fact that he should proclaim uh from the house to what he believes. And you know his ministry wasn't even a real church. He believed in the holy cath the holy catholic church which he's not he didn't have. He had Rabbi Zacharias international ministries or whatever. That's a parachurch organization. It's not a real church. So and what's the Bible say about being ecumenical? Well turn to second Corinthians chapter six. Second Corinthians chapter six. Now I'm just going to kind of start to wind this down a little bit and I just want to show you some very clear scriptures about false prophets because here's the other thing people will say is they'll say well you know he could have repented at the last second but look once you're a false prophet you're always a false prophet. You're not going to change from that. Paul was forgiven for the things he did because he did it in ignorance and in unbelief. These false prophets know that they're false prophets and they have things that they want to accomplish by being false prophets. Now here in second Corinthians chapter six looking verse 16 it says and what agreement hath the temple of God with idols for you are the temple of the living God as God has said I will dwell in them and walk in them and I will be their God and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them and be separate saith the Lord and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you. See you know he should have maybe read that verse before he went and preached at the Mormon tabernacle. Now I would preach at the Mormon tabernacle if I was able to say whatever I wanted but do you think he was able to say whatever he wanted? He was so not able to say whatever he wanted that he didn't say anything that he disagreed with them on. He just said yeah I know we disagree on stuff but we're coming together. You know we're coming together with Joseph Smith, Brigham Young and you know we're all going to be gods of our own planets and what else do they believe? A magic underwear thing, polygamy, pedophilia, yeah they're basically masons. I mean there's so much we don't agree with them and they're wicked. We're supposed to come out from among them and be separate saith the Lord and touch not the unclean thing and then he says he will receive us. Jude chapter Jude. Turn to Jude. The last time I said Jude chapter one someone said there's no chapters in Jude. Thanks. Actually there is. It's just one book. Chapter one. No I don't know. Anyway Jude three says beloved when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation it was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Why am I preaching a sermon like this? Why am I preaching that Ravi Zacharias is roasting in hell? Well I'll tell you why because we're supposed to earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered unto the saints and I don't want anybody going off into false doctrine following this guy because he's so intelligent and because he's so well spoken and because he has fair speeches and good words so that he can deceive the simple. I don't want anybody in our church to be deceived by him. You know people in our families when they find out we're Christians they'll try to give us all kinds of dumb stuff right? And they mean well I think sometimes. They'll give you like some coloring book that doesn't have that has NIV verses in it or they'll give you some book from some false prophet and they're like this is a great book. This is Joyce Meyer's newest book. You really want some good doctrine in this. She rips face in this book. But that's why I'm preaching this. I don't want you to get tricked by some people might not even know who he is. But let's look at the principles of false prophets of where they're headed. Look the Bible is very clear. If you're a false prophet you're going to hell. And if Ravi Zacharias is a false prophet guess where he's going? Well he's already there. He's in hell. All right so it says for there are certain men crept in unawares who were before of old what's it say ordained to this condemnation. You know if you're saved there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. So these people are not saved they're ordained to this condemnation. Ungodly men. Does that sound like they're saved? No. Turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Here's another thing about Ravi Zacharias. He was rich. He was stinking rich. All right so am I saying that every rich person is bad? Well when your ministry is what got you rich I think that that's a problem. I mean you've seen my car right Slimer? I'm not exactly rocking a BMW guys. I'm not in a Jaguar. I'm not in some fancy car. Now again I just want to put an asterisk next to this. I wouldn't mind having to escalate because they fit me. All right so my car if you've ever seen me get into it's like I got to put some Crisco on my hips and slide in there. So I got to be like Bo and Luke Duke when I slide into the car. Anyway so I'm not exactly you know in a luxury vehicle. Okay it works for what I need. So anyway but what is his net worth? His net worth is well it says he formed his two Toronto based ministry Ravi Zacharias International Ministries in 1984 and is the host of radio shows called Let My People Thinkin' Just Thinkin' all of which has helped him to pocket a net worth of 7.5 million dollars. So isn't Satan the prince and power of the air? Yeah so I mean usually when you hear someone on the radio unless it's a privately owned like Baptist radio station or something they're going to be false prophets playing on that radio station. I mean one to ten anything you listen to well I haven't listened to Christian radio in a long time but anything you listen to is just filled with false prophets. John MacArthur, Ravi Zacharias and then that guy that talks about Alistair Begg he's like from England or from Ireland or something. You know everybody likes to listen to him because they like to hear his accent or something but his teaching is garbage. So these types of people are the ones that make a lot of money. What's the bible say about false prophets and money? Well let's look at second Peter chapter two verse number one. Second Peter chapter two verse number one and look the bible warns us so many times in the new testament to beware of false prophets. I couldn't even put all the verses in here. Right. You know Paul was crying basically telling them hey when I leave grievous wolves are going to come in not sparing the flock. That means they walk they're going to come in and chew up the sheep and spit them out or eat them totally. They'll just spit out the fluffy parts right. Anyway so what's it say but there were false prophets also among the people even as there shall be false teachers among you who shall privily bring in damnable heresies even denying the lord that bought them and bring upon themselves swift destruction and many shall follow their pernicious ways by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of and through covetousness shall they with feigned words that means fake words make merchandise of you they want to make money off of you it says whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not and their damnation slumbereth not they're damned they're going to hell skip down to verse number 14 having eyes full of adultery then that cannot cease from sin beguiling unstable souls and heart they have exercised with covetous practice practices cursed children which have forsaken the right way and gone astray following the way of balaam the son of bozor who loved what the wages of unrighteousness why did he want to curse the children of israel because he wanted that money he was promised a lot of things and god was stopped trying to stop him from cursing the children of israel but balaam wanted that money and that's what these false prophets want they depart from the ways of righteousness and they want to fall after filthy lucre and money it says but was rebuked for his iniquity the dumb ass speaking with a man's voice forbade the madness of the prophet these are wells without water clouds that are carried with the tempest to whom the midst of darkness is reserved forever for when they speak great swelling words of vanity they allure through the lust of the flesh through much wantonness those that are clean escaped from them who live in error while they promise them liberty they themselves are the servants of corruption for of whom a man is overcome of the same is brought in bondage so these people they overcome people they overcome the simple with their fair speeches and their great swelling words of vanity and allure through the lust of the flesh but they themselves are the servants of corruption and they are when the people they over that they overcome are brought into their bondage that's why they make people to fold more the child of hell than they are themselves they overcome them with their bondage and they overthrow them and that's why when you go to fall you know these false prophets are are making children of hell just like themselves and they will go to battle with us at the doors over their works salvation because that's ultimately what the false prophets teach is that you have to be a good person you have to be we confess and forsake all your sin or you're not saved and all this other stuff turn to matthew chapter 7 matthew chapter 7 verse 15 the bible says beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly they are ravening wolves they look like sheep but they're wolves on the inside joel osteen looks like a sheep doesn't he but he's a wolf on the inside ravi zachariah looks like a nice kind old indian gentleman but you know what he was he was a false prophet he was a liar and he was a wolf in sheep's clothing it says you shall know them by their fruits do men gather grapes and thorns or figs of thistles even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit here's the other thing well he got many people saved and you know when he went off in the fall start no they were always not saved that's what the people say about billy graham well he was good for a while and then he got bad because he was old no he always believed that stuff that stuff was always in his heart that stuff always came out in his preaching he was bad fruit he was a bad tree that produces bad fruit every tree that bringeth forth not good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire so hey when you get mad at me for saying that ravi zacharias is roasting in hell fire look what the bible says jesus said these bad fruit trees are going to be cast into the fire what's he talking about there you're going to go to hell so if they're roasting in fire it's because the fire never ceases the fire is not quenched it's everlasting fire it's everlasting torment it lasts forever so if they're roasting and still roasting and roasting and roasting they're roasting in hell for all eternity look at verse 21 it says not every one of them this is their fruit right here not every one of them says saith unto me lord lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he did do it the will of my father which is in heaven many will say unto me in that day lord lord have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils in thy name done many wonderful works see they're going to bring their works before god just like cain did and guess what they're going to be condemned to hell because jesus is going to say to them and i will profess unto them i never knew you depart from me ye that work iniquity so their sins aren't forgiven because they're trusting in their works where do they get that mentality from where do they get that false doctrine from they got it from the false prophets that tricked them into believing those things and so they're sending people to hell so why would i preach against ravie zacharias because he sent lots of people to hell with his false doctrine and his buddy billy and his buddy joyce myers who is a great bible teacher apparently matthew chapter 24 i'm just gonna read for you matthew chapter 24 turn to jeremiah chapter 5 verse 31 i'm almost done matthew chapter 24 i'm gonna read for you it says that many false prophets shall rise and deceive many i mean how many ways does he have to say it how many times does he have to say it and people still don't listen they're like oh he's a great bible teacher you should really listen to him no i shouldn't because his doctrine is false and if everything that he preaches is false then he's a false prophet it's just that simple so here in german chapter chapter 5 verse 31 the bible says the prophets prophesy falsely and the priests bear rule by their means and my people love to have it so and what will you do in the end thereof so what's god saying he's saying that there's prophets that prophesy falsely and his people his people love to have it so so even his people listen to the false doctrine of these false teachers so not everybody that bags on me over that billy graham sermon or everybody that is going to bag on me over this sermon right here not all of them are necessarily bad people but you know what god's people love to have false doctrine preached to them for some weird reason and we i don't want our church to feel that way i want our church to understand exactly what we believe and i want our church to to understand what these false prophets believe so that they can stay away from them so you're like well this is very negative yeah sometimes you gotta preach negative stuff you know because there are people that get sucked in to this kind of stuff and they're like whoa i just love how he expounds on the scriptures well i don't know if you've ever listened to me before but he doesn't exactly do that so um titus chat i'm going to skip titus and skip and skip down to the second timothy chapter four verse one go ahead and turn over to second timothy four verse one i'll just start reading while you turn there first crinthians or second timothy four one says i charge you therefore before god and the lord jesus christ who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing in his and in his kingdom preach the word be instant in season out of season reprove rebuke exhort with all long suffering and doctrine for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine and guess what we're living in that time right now there's many false prophets out there if you go and just look for preaching on look every time i watch like a good sermon from a pastor you know who what it rolls into if i have it on auto roll on youtube it goes right to john mccarthur every time he must be paying someone off a very hefty ransom to be able to just have that i don't watch john mccarthur why would that be on my suggested videos it's like man i gotta hear this garbage again and look i don't want to listen john mccarthur but this is the time we're living in where false prophets are promoted where everybody you know it's it's magnified right now it's going to get even worse as the time comes to to fruition here it says for the time will come when they will not endorse sound doctrine but after their lust shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears joist meyers joel osteen uh pat robertson uh ravi zacharias billy graham who are some other good ones they some other bad good bad ones huh francine chan uh who else huh johnny pied piper anyway there's a whole trove of people that are false prophets and people heap to themselves piles and piles of false prophets because you know what they want to hear how their ears tickled they want to be made to feel so good when they walk out of church sometimes you got to be feel bad though sometimes we should feel bad when we walk out of church because of where we're at in our lot in our christian walk sometimes we need to get our toes stepped on sometimes we need to get beat up a little bit and you know the bible has says rebuke and reprove those are two negative things the one positive is exhort okay so if you're getting two times rebuked and reproved and one time exhorted that's what it should be like if that's what paul said for timothy to preach like then that's what it should be like that's right so it says that she'll turn their ears away from the truth and she'll be turned onto fables not truth statements fables are just things that are just not true right they'll turn away people in the last days are going to turn their ears away from the truth there's not a lot of churches that preach like this church there's not a lot of churches that preach like verity baptist church there's not a lot of preaches uh churches that preach like faith we're about the church and it's because people have turned their ears away from the truth and they don't want to hear that kind of preaching. So we need to be people to love this book. We love real prophets, real men of God that actually get up and say things the way they need to be said and aren't shying away from those types of things. So the Bible, so let me do two more verses here. I'll just have you turn to Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 20. I'm gonna read for you John 1 John 4 1. And 1 John 4 1 it tells us about, it's talking about trying the spirits. So if you don't believe what I say, believe what the Bible says. And when you have some prophet preaching to you, try that prophet and see whether the things that he's saying are matching up with this book right here. Because if they're not, then guess what? It's not a good spirit. It's a bad spirit baby, all right? 1 John 4 1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Many. Why is this so important? Because we have to try the spirits whether they're of God. Don't just listen to anybody that comes along the pipe. Hey, try that spirit and find out whether that person is really of God or not. You're in Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 20. Look what it says. But the prophet which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. That's what God says. That's the remedy for a false prophet. Now obviously right now, we're not supposed to go out and kill false prophets. We're not really under that government. But someday, someday when all this these governments fade away, and the everlasting government of Christ is here, then when the false prophet tries to come and speak in in some other God's name, then the Bible says that their parents will thrust them through. That's how hardcore it's gonna be then. So the false prophets are being done away within the land if they even try to rise up against God in the millennial reign of Christ. So again, if everything someone preaches is wrong, or pretty much everything. And from false salvation, to false Bible versions, and all all these other things, that person's going to help. And they're going to be there for all eternity. And they're a false prophet and God's people should say amen that that false prophet when a wicked person dies, the people rejoice. That's what the Bible says. So you know, they're gonna he's Robbie Zacharias. Guess where he's gone straight where he's at. There's no compartment. You know, I know he probably believed in purgatory. But you know what he went straight to hell. And he's still there. It'll be there for all eternity. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you Lord so much for this wonderful day. Pray that you bless the soul wanting to follow. Lord and we pray that you would bless the preaching service at 5pm. Pray that you just bless everybody that came out today. Pray that you'd watch over us.
