Okay so John chapter 10 and so John chapter 10 basically continues straight on from Jesus addressing some of the Pharisees at the end of chapter 9 so if you have a look at chapter 9 and from verse 39 and Jesus said for judgment I am come into the world that they which seem not might see and that they which see might be made blind and some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words and said unto him are we blind also Jesus said unto them if you were blind you should have no sin but now you say we see therefore your sin remaineth then it goes straight into verse 1 verily verily I say unto you he that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold but climbeth up some other way the same is a thief and a robber but he that enterth in by the door is a shepherd of the sheep to him the porter openeth and the sheep hear his voice and he calleth his own sheep by name and leadeth them out and when he putteth forth his own sheep he goeth before them and the sheep follow him for they know his voice and a stranger will they not follow but will flee from him for they know not the voice of strangers this parable spake Jesus unto them but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them okay let's pray father I thank you for your word I thank you for this great gospel I thank you for this chapter and for just so many truths that will you know we can learn from this please fill me with your spirit now help people to hear what you've got to say for them to them out of the out of your word and help us to just just just pay attention and listen and be open to the truths that come come come from this in Jesus name we pray Amen okay so this is a parable Jesus explains it in the following verses let's go through the following verse and then we'll come back to the parable so verse 7 Jesus says then said Jesus unto them again verily verily I say unto you I am the door of the sheep so this is the third I am of the Gospel of John Jesus has already said I am the bread of life in John 6 I am the light of the world in John 8 now he's saying I am the door of the sheep so the door is to the sheepfold which isn't it's not like a huge grazing field the sheepfold is basically a safe area it's a safe enclosure where the sheep are collected okay kind of like a pen yeah he says in verse 8 all that ever came before me are thieves and robbers but the sheep did not hear them I am the door by me if any man enter in he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture he's the door yeah the door to salvation not a door the door he's the only door to salvation isn't he he's the only door I am the door he says I am the door by me if any man enter in any man yeah okay the offer from from the beginning is is to everyone isn't it but of course we have a choice to reject that but if any man enter in not if only some if the pre predestined men enter in or if the Jews enter in it's if any man enter in he shall be saved not he shall start being saved not he might be saved he shall be saved yeah if any man enter in he's a door if any man entering he shall shall be saved going through a door is pretty easy isn't it like the other I am is going through the door is pretty easy isn't it like eating of eating some bread is pretty easy like when he goes on to say so you know he's a water as well okay and he says here and shall go in and out and find pasture once he saved he continues sorry he says and going to find pastures oh sorry point being once he saved he continues to live his life doesn't it so once you're one once you're saved you still have to live life don't you still have to go in and out and find pasture it's not that just that you're in the sheepfold and that's it you still have to live life so he says here and shall go in and out and find pasture now verse one of the parable said verily verily I send to you he that enter is not by the door into the sheepfold but climb it up some other way the same is a thief and a robber what's the difference between the thief and a robber so a thief one who secretly unlawfully and feloniously takes the goods or personal property of another the thief takes the property of another privately the robber by open force now the robber in law number one one that makes it goods or money from the person of another by force or menaces not always force and with a felonious intent and number two in a looser sense one who takes that to which he has no right one who steals plunders or strips by violence and wrong okay so it's not again not just violence by wrong as well okay so obviously this is talking about false religion okay false religion clearly but I would add to that infiltrators false prophets as well okay that those that both are among us and those are without as well it's the unsaved trying to gain access to the sheep isn't it and that can be both current and probably future potential sheep yeah okay verse 8 said all that ever came before me are thieves and robbers but the sheep did not hear them okay coming before him as well you could look at that and coming before him in our own lives so before we came to Jesus Christ there many that came before him weren't there there were many different ideas of salvation false religions that many people have been exposed to any other way of salvation any other way to heaven is a lie and is ultimately theft and robbery isn't it okay any other way because so much of it is about money isn't it so much of false religion is about money I mean just you know think about it think about the amount of money in false religions I drive regularly into central London and I go past Westminster Cathedral I also go past Westminster Abbey as well wow you see see anyone seen those places recently the money involved in there and and just ridiculous isn't it the amount of money we were looking my kids were asking me about the Vatican the other day so I just went online and showed them a few documentary short little videos about the Vatican just what a colossal waste of money just ridiculous isn't it the amount of money people's money that has been given to the church spent on that let alone the money that's been siphoned away and the rest of it absolutely wicked it's so much about money isn't it and all false religions the world over any of the successful ones are just absolutely loaded aren't they um so theft yes but how about robbery so how about robbery how many cults so how many cults where they where a lot of it is is threats of some sort or other isn't it at least they don't want you to leave the cult do they a lot of people fear you know that fear of leaving but think about the the physical violence threatened by false religions over history I mean the Roman Catholic Church for one I mean absolutely horrific is that when you look back in history and the crimes committed by that wicked false religion on people it's just been terrible and still we have people the world over that were involved in the Catholic Church who know this but it's not just the Catholics what about the Protestants as well I mean good old John Calvin who who many people seem to basically idolize don't they the world over called for servitors to be burned at the stake didn't they and that that was one of you know just one of many many of the Protestant Church you were again you know they were just swapping what the Catholics were doing weren't they and there was kind of you know the same thing a Catholic witch-hunt and and especially going for people that really believed didn't they because the Anabaptists didn't fare too well under either of them did they about the Muslims as well and the threats of violence and and you know you got all sorts of things going on for people dare you know people who are mixed up in Islam who want to either not be involved or marry out of it or anything else there's a lot of violence a lot of threats a lot of violence threats on threatened to unbelievers and what is it it's robbery isn't it it's robbery because ultimately again it comes back to money and it comes back to a whole system and people making money out of it but the sheep did not hear them did they he said all that ever came before me are thieves and robbers but the sheep did not hear them now if they're sheep and they're saved then at some point they stopped hearing them didn't they at some point they must have stopped hearing them and really ultimately I suppose did they really believe them because there are those you sometimes feel don't you when you're out soul winning there are those that are so mixed up in false religion it doesn't matter what you tell them it's like they they all they truly have put their whole heart into it but the sheep can't have done could they to have got saved verse 10 said the thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly and a false religious leader the false prophet the infiltrator come to steal don't they they want your money but it's not just your money they want your friendship they want your allegiance as well so obviously looking at the big false religions it will be the money mainly the motivations of money to be involved in that to preach that to be one of their false prophets it's money but the infiltrator the the false prophet that tries to get into churches okay a lot of the time it's money sometimes they want to put a you know a following off them but a lot of the time they want your friendship as well they want your allegiance they want to pull you away they want to befriend the church and pull them away from the leadership pull them away from the truth and again they're stealing now aren't they they're stealing your friendship they're stealing your allegiance because really they don't have your heart and you know they don't have your your welfare at heart do they because really what they want it's for their own their own nefarious reasons they want to they want to stop people getting saved don't they so a lot of the time the people that attack churches the ones that are preaching against our sorts of churches the ones that are coming into our sorts of churches the people that are just pulling potential sheep away into their false religions they're they're they're destroying because they're stopping people getting saved aren't they they're stopping I mean some of these false religions you could say and look people have a free will choice to go into them don't they have the choice to be good and evil okay and I'm not trying to absolve them of blame but the people are wicked in these false religions at top of these false religions and they're stopping people getting saved and in the same people that attack our sorts of churches so winning churches are ultimately trying to prevent salvations now they claim they're not they claim they're just so angry about whatever you know unfairness say they think they see in our churches or you know this hero worship or whatever it is a claim is their major issue but really what are they really doing they're attacking one of the few soul-winning churches around one of the few soul-winning churches in the States all they're really doing is stopping people getting saved and claiming that it's for you know you know the greater good and everything else and and notice how they never attack any of the other churches they don't care about the churches that aren't out soul-winning do they okay they don't care what what so-called qualifications or lack of that the pastor's have in those churches they don't care they don't care about the so-called you know cult-like mentality in those churches they did when they were so winning when the the brother hauls churches and those other churches were so winning they cared then didn't they then they were getting attacked then the attacks but but now they just move on it's just always so winning churches but what a great second half the verse as well says I am come that they might have life and there is a choice there isn't now I'm come that they might have life and number two there and that they might have it more abundantly now look there's there's obviously there's people that use this verse and preach you know their health wealth prosperity type nonsense from it what does abundantly mean fully amply plentifully in a sufficient degree so I you know I've heard this preach in different ways and I don't believe it is just talking about having eternal life because he's come that they might have life and then and that they might have it more abundantly because you know the false teachers preach the the health wealth prosperity but they obviously always base it on a little bit of truth don't they so there's a little bit of truth to wash down the poison you know they'll they'll claim that and then go if you just put a bit extra in the offering plate you know then you're gonna be alright you're gonna you're gonna be rich you're gonna you're gonna get all this all the blessings of God and look we're not guaranteed riches and good health but turn to Psalm 112 Psalm 112 would anyone here go back to their old life okay you might have times when the devil tries to tempt you to look back at Egypt and think things are actually much better then but when you really really sit down and you think about it no way would you I don't think you would and the devil will tempt you with that but really when you're clear when you have clarity there's no way you want to go back to your old life is there and when you're living for Christ when you're getting sin out of your life when you're in the spirit and resisting the flesh you're doing things for God it doesn't compare does it it does not compare it doesn't matter what worldly pleasures you might have had it doesn't matter if you've gone from the riches and the fun and all the things that the world tells you is great to the to what the world will tell you is a boring Christian life the truth is you wouldn't swap it would you I hope you wouldn't swap it because it doesn't matter what tribulation you're going through it doesn't matter what what hard season of life you might be in it does not compare does it it doesn't compare and and and if you all think you're looking back then you know you really have to you really have to be real with yourself and honest and just remind yourself of the burden of bondage of that sin that we're all under and look don't get me wrong we can still be under the bondage of sin can't we but you know what if you're living for Christ you're trying your best it's a different game isn't it it's a different game and obviously knowing for sure as well that you're saved how different is that but having life yeah we have life through salvation but to have it more abundantly and and it is abundance and I'm not talking about wealth and I'm not talking necessarily and I'm not talking about you know you can have the best health but you have abundant life when you live for God don't you it doesn't matter it doesn't compare look at Psalm 112 says praise ye the Lord blessed is a man that feareth the Lord that delighteth greatly in his commandments so you might have it more abundantly you're blessed when you fear the Lord and delighteth greatly in his commandments his seed shall be mighty upon earth the generation of the upright shall be blessed wealth and riches shall be in his house and his righteousness endureth forever unto the upright there arises light in the darkness he is gracious and full of compassion and righteous a good man showeth favor and lendeth he will guide his affairs with discretion surely he shall not be moved forever the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance he shall not be afraid of evil tidings his heart is fixed trusting in the Lord his heart is established he shall not be afraid until he see his desire upon his enemies he had dispersed he have given to the poor his righteousness endureth forever his horn shall be exalted with honor the wicked shall see it and be grieved he shall gnash with his teeth and melt away the desire of the wicked shall perish the man that feareth the Lord that delighteth greatly in his commandments we should have life abundantly and I think we do and I think like I said when you really when you feel like you're in the spirit and you feel like you're doing your best for God and look we're gonna fail often we're gonna have bad days and good days but when you are life is there's so much more abundance isn't there then then what we did have then the life before that he says in verse 11 I am the Good Shepherd the Good Shepherd giveth his life for the sheep so this is the next I am I am the Good Shepherd it does make you think of Psalm 23 a bit doesn't it the Lord's my Shepherd I shall not want but Isaiah 40 turn to Isaiah 40 because I believe here Jesus again is saying he's make it clear that he is God Isaiah 40 Psalm 23 obviously the Lord's my Shepherd Isaiah 40 in verse 10 behold the Lord God will come with strong hand and his arm shall rule for him behold his reward is with him and his work before him he shall feed his flock like a shepherd he shall gather the lambs with his arm and carry them in his bosom and shall gently lead those that are with young and it's just another one of the I am's the I am statement itself being God and it's just Jesus showing although who he is who he's being prophesied about he's talked about he is the Lord and even though he is God he gave his life for us all for all the sheep didn't he gave his life for every single one of us verse 12 says but he that is an hireling and not the shepherd whose own the sheep are not seeth the wolf coming and leaveth the sheep and fleeth and the wolf catcheth them and scattereth the sheep the hireling fleeth because he is an hireling and careth not for the sheep right Jesus is a good shepherd that's contrasted by the hireling the person that's just in it for the money of course the motivation of most false prophets is money isn't it okay and we you know I don't think that's probably lost on anyone here the motivation is money and it you know like I said before it's not just submit the megabucks is it so you look at other you know I've thought before about like the Church of England vicar for example and you know this guy okay he's not really loaded but really it's still for in their mind a comfy cushy job okay he's not he's not flying the private jet but he still generally you know he's got a house for free he's got you know he gets pretty good money pretty good standing in a community and everything else and they are pretty well for doing very little okay it's like 15 minute little sermon air you know they even get free dresses to wear as well so I don't even have to wait for it but but it's the same with all with all of this and it's the same with the repent of your sins pastor because the repent of your sins pastor he's gone through Bible College and for him now to basically have that job he's got to keep preaching a lot of the time this rubbish to be whatever denominator you know part you know Baptist sort of group that he's with and everything else but it's still it's a job a lot of times house I remember the first church I was kind of involved with it was an evangelical church I remember this lady there saying to me oh you know have you ever thought about you know being a pastor and it the first thing she said was get a free house you know get it's good money that's what these guys are just saying to each other you know it's like wow like that's it that's that's your kind of trying to entice me to be like a evangelical as one of these sort of wicked churches anyway but um but but the hireling they you know and they are and these guys are in it for the money in one way or another it might not be mega money but it's a lot of the time they feel it's easy money following the way of Balaam the son of Bozor who loved the ways of unrighteousness but like I said I think there are likely many Baptist pastors in the world who are in it for the money I think okay might not be mega bucks so they're in it for the money they're preaching lies they're preaching they're preaching not the truth because they don't want to lose their congregation and I'm saying at the beginning maybe before they're full on false profit I don't think they literally let necessarily just go straight into that they're not just false profit from the start all of them but they're just preaching lies for the money aren't they I don't know what that crossover point is where that time comes maybe it does come from Bible College for some but then they're there the motivation is a job and then when they're there they're preaching they don't want to lose whatever support it is from the sending church maybe they maybe you know if they've come out you know I've known a you know a couple that have come here that have been sent out they're basically getting paid to do it they're getting paid you know and they don't they're not going to start preaching the truth when the sending church is telling them to preach lies and when they're there for the money they're relying on the tithe or relying on the support of the sending church they want to see numbers rising in their churches don't they okay so they want to see those numbers going up they're selling their books aren't they sometimes out of the church as well they want popularity so they won't they won't preach on the sin then will they they won't preach in the sin they won't call out the war and these aren't necessarily false prophets sometimes so this could just be a hireling so this could be a hireling someone who's motivation someone who's who's who's basically you know gone into preaching really like that lady was trying to entice me many years ago their motivation a lot of the time is the money and the job and the the the easy life and well I don't have to you know break my back doing whatever job it is anymore right now all I have to do is write a little 10-minute sermon for this you know dud church somewhere preach once a week you know it but when they're in it for the money they have to keep the church high a lot of the time because it's all about the money it's all about the tithe it's all about the support they won't preach on the sin will they a lot of the time is they worried about losing people they won't preach the truth they won't call out the wolves among them as well because when you're calling out the walls again you're losing the church so they kind of don't really care too much because all they want is people in the church they don't want to be contentious they don't want the challenges they're more likely to leave the church when it gets difficult because they weren't there for God were they they weren't there for the right motivation they were there when they're just in it for the money they're the hireling and and you could take that principle or you could see that principle in other areas of your life can't you what about child care so you know do you think that anyone really cares about your children like you do no one does do they no one cares about you you know you want them to and you kind of sometimes you're confused well they don't see the cuteness that you see you know you decide they're so they're just looking thinking yeah great the snow all over their face you know the the rest of it this like screaming voice it just winds you up love my kid like I do you know but but they don't do they do a lot of the time a parent will think the sunshine's out of their kid don't they but but many people don't see that but they don't and look you know when when you you know when you get that that hireling in to look after your kids they're never gonna look after your kid like you do they're never gonna put on their own they're never gonna care so much I remember I remember seeing like just the most blatant display this one so I was doing a landscaping jobs job many years ago and I was at the customers house and they're with the kid and you know playing with a kid and then the nanny turns up yeah and the nanny was just you know like this super nanny just so loving so kind so much attention to this kid while the mums getting ready and everything yeah okay so I'll do this job the mum goes shuts the door gets in the car suddenly the phone comes out it's like yeah whatever right literally for the next couple of hours there was this that the kid was just left to themselves and you know and I didn't even care that you could see that you know and that's the hireling isn't it because the hireling obviously is gonna look good in front of people but as soon as you you know as soon as you're you know the parents out of the way the hireling just resorts to being a hireling and again you see that in the workplace don't you as well anyone who's ever employed people if they're just based on a wage anyway I used to get it again when I employed people for landscaping you know that you would leave them on the job and they look so great and then you leave the job and then you come back here did you actually get anything done at all because if they're not on a reward and that's why a lot of jobs have reward schemes have incentive schemes and things like that don't they because the hireling is just there for if the money's coming anyway they don't really care do they because they're just there for the money there's no other vested interest okay but that's the same I believe that's the same when you have people in the ministry just for money who are just there just for money just for a paycheck that's really they don't really have a passion they're just kind of there because you know that's that's what they could do that's a good they're not bad job yeah fancy yeah maybe we could go into that that'd be a good job you know that's not what we want do we you want around churches you want people are passionate want to preach the Word of God I want to make a difference and make changes not people that well fancy a bit a bit of easy cash verse 14 says I am the good shepherd and know my sheep and have known of mine as the father knoweth me even so know I the father and I lay down my life for the sheep okay now let's have a look at verse 2 again then of the parable okay so verse 2 but he that entereth in by the door is a shepherd of the sheep so Jesus is both the door for the sheep to enter through faith and also the shepherd or at least he's a good Shepherd isn't it it said verse 3 to him the porter openeth and the sheep hear his voice and he calleth his own sheep by name and leadeth them out Jesus knows each and every one of us by name that's pretty pretty cool thing to think about isn't it and from salvation he wants to lead us through life as well okay so after salvation he wants to lead us through life verse 4 and when he putteth forth his own sheep he goeth before them and a sheep follow him for they know his voice he leads by example why do the sheep follow him for they know his voice yeah so deep down save people do know his voice don't they they know the voice of the shepherd if we're to follow Jesus so we have to know the difference between his voice and the voice of strangers now obviously deep down we know his voice and look praise God that we have every word that Jesus wants us to hear preserved for us as God promised to yeah in this book we've got the book but we've also got in this book we've got every call of the shepherd in it don't we so we've got every it's like the shepherd guidebook there for the sheep but we have to learn it and and you know if we want to know and understand his voice we have to learn it don't we so look we might know it and we know it when we hear it but you want to know every single call don't you you want to know every single one of those shepherd whistles and everything else you've got to learn it you got to learn the book because when we know his voice it says in verse 5 and a stranger will they not follow but will flee from him for they know not the voice of strangers oh we have to flee from the strange voice yeah that's what we should be doing shouldn't we we should be fleeing from the strange voice the false doctrine we should flee from not what oh well I'm not sure well I like the way they talk and oh I like this and like I saying with hymns and all of that we should literally be fleeing the other way from it I don't want to hear it I don't want any of that getting in my head I don't want to hear that stuff and look that was hard wasn't it that was hard up until you know sort of January this year when we when this got started because it was difficult because on one hand you're trying to stay faithful and go to church and on the other hand you you just keep hearing false doctrine don't you we should just be fleeing it we don't want to hear false doctrine and of course I'm talking about you know damnable heresies here and look and heresies to a degree if you're literally just hearing false doctrine that's a bit concerning isn't it then you're wondering well how you know where's your grasp of the Word of God but but especially when we're hearing things you like did he just say that I'll just give him the benefit that we should just be fleeing it shouldn't we fleeing it we don't want to be around it but the damnable heresies obviously it's not just coming from from from the you know the preacher the pastor it's not just coming from YouTube the damnable heresies will and do come from people amongst in churches don't they and we have to flee from it you have to make you know you hear that you're hearing that strangers voice then that's like that's a big cause for concern is there and that's the time to go and tell someone about that and look the voice of strangers well will include whispering in the church as well okay like and like I said I'm not saying about anyone who whispers or anyone who use a hushed tone or anything I'm not saying that that's it they're a hundred percent they're wicked but that is the voice of strangers isn't it that is one of the tactics is the whispering and it's subtle and like I've said before it's subtle but and look this isn't like witch hunt time like I keep saying because I know churches could do I don't want to do that but but on the same hand we should be fleeing from that so it's not that okay right you've got to look out for it no but but look out for it for your own good because people they're subtle really clever they'll befriend you and then whisper to you and then try and just make you you know try and put thoughts in your mind make you hate other people flee from it just flee from it people like that get away from them you know because that that's that's where which that's how they break up churches and they're clever about it that obviously the false doctrine outside the church flee from it YouTube flee from it false Bibles flee from it I don't want to hear any one preacher if I hear someone preaching false Bibles switch off straight away I mean I don't I just don't see why you'd sit through a word of it and that's same if I'm looking or reading on things and you know and reading different theories and ideas or stuff it they're using a false Bible good night done switched off no way second you see that it's a voice of a stranger and if they can't recognize that what hope have they got you know it's get rid of that get rid of any of that sort of stuff now verse 14 jump forward to verse 14 he said I am the Good Shepherd and know my sheep and a known and a known of mine as a father knoweth me even so know I the father and I lay down my life for the sheep because he and the father with the Holy Spirit make one God don't they okay verse 16 and other sheep I have which are not of this fold them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold and one shepherd so what's this other fold well he's talking to the Jews here in Jerusalem okay he's he's been preaching throughout basically Israel the other sheep of the Gentiles aren't they the other sheep of the Gentiles turn to Ephesians chapter 2 because there are many heretics all over this country and the rest of the world that want to split Christians into their idea of race don't they just love it's so fleshly man just loves splitting people into race they love being proud of their race they love being negative about their race they love just anything they can it says race race race isn't it and of course the world pushes that on us as well the Zionists want to elevate the so-called Jews don't they as one race and Gentiles as another yeah they love doing that don't they I mean it's completely lost on them it seems all the many converts to Judaism not not just throughout history but throughout the Bible that's just doesn't matter about that because we could still just call them a race what they just become a race again at what point what if you convert to Judaism maybe now how many generations till you're now the race of Jews anyone want to guess at that I don't know I reckon it's probably a few generations maybe it's only one generation if you just grow your hair with some curly tassels get a yamakaron or one of those silly fairy top hats and dress in that weird outfit that they wear maybe that's enough maybe then you're a new race maybe you're a race of Jews but it's nonsense isn't it it's nonsense there are these Hebrew roots people that want to claim that their race are one of the twelve tribes you heard that stuff before yeah and I don't know how many of the twelve tribes are speaking to a guy and by the way there's been quite a push on that there's kind of these black Hebrew roots guys pushing this a lot of the time but I spoke to a guy not long ago is trying to tell me that in fact the whites the whites are one of whatever tribe and the pure race and everything else it's like where'd you get this rubbish from you know um but always always when you look at this always this goes in hand with with the false gospel doesn't it there's always some work salvation washed up in there because they don't know the voice of Shepherd do they now I'm not saying everyone mixed up in that is because people get saving there somehow that sometimes they just don't actually try and read the Word of God hear the Word of God and then they're not really recognizing the voice of the Shepherd now they can recognize when they hear it but it doesn't mean that they're gonna hear it does it just cuz you're safe doesn't mean you're automatically gonna read your Bible Jesus said there would be one fold and one Shepherd now most of these people don't get either of those truths do they okay one fold one Shepherd okay because again they want to try and add other sort of you know shepherds in or or a different version of the Shepherd some sort of full Shepherd and many different folds and there are churches throughout the world we don't really get that so much here but there are churches are basically just basically you know they're separated by race aren't they their church is a black church or a white church or a messianic Jew Church or whatever it is it's just such nonsense isn't it Ephesians chapter 2 and from verse 10 and this is just a great passage okay it's a quite a few verses but just try and really really just listen to the words for we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained that we shall walk in them wherefore remember that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh who are called uncircumcision by that which is called the circumcision in the flesh made by hands that at that time you were without Christ being aliens from the Commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the Covenants and promise having no hope and without God in the world but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were afar off are made nigh by the blood of Christ for he is our peace who hath made both one and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us having abolished in his flesh the enmity even the Lord Commandments contain ordinances for to make in himself of twain one new man like one fold so making peace and that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross having slain the enmity thereby and came and preached peace to you which were far off and to them that were nigh for through him we both have access by one spirit unto the Father now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the Saints and of the household of God one household isn't there and a built upon the foundation of the Apostles and prophets Jesus Christ himself being the chief Cornerstone in whom all the building singular fitly framed together grieth unto an holy temple in the Lord in whom ye also are builded together for inhabitation of God through the Spirit one fold one shepherd yeah pretty simple isn't it and again one of many many passages throughout the New Testament makes it very clear doesn't it and and wow just just beggars belief doesn't it that so many so-called save people just seem to just completely misses true okay one fold one shepherd verse 17 back to back to John 10 there therefore doth my father love me because I laid down my life that I might take it again now that the therefore is revert is referring to verse 15 there as a father knoweth me even so now I know I the father and I lay down my life for the she and and you know what an amazing thing he did didn't he that he he laid down his life verse 18 no man taketh it from me but I lay it down of myself I have power to lay it down I've had to take it again this commandment have I received of my father I remember when I was younger learning the story of Jesus and you know when I say the story definitely not having the gospel preached me but knowing you know the story of Jesus is his life is his death is burial his resurrection and and in my mind it was kind of like he was a bit weak you know it's like you just couldn't evade those Romans you know just because there's always the Romans isn't it you know if you notice when you're young that's taught at school it's those evil Romans the Jews is kind of not really mentioned yet and it was kind of like you know Jesus Christ I mean well you know if he's God you know God's son why did you know because at the time you don't really understand it we just think why can they evade them why can you know maybe just didn't have this sort of power that you're kind of thinking you must have where's a superhero power you know but when you really understand it when you really understand the gospel and you really understand that he laid down his life for the sheep the power required to do that is just amazing isn't it that's that's going to hell and and I believe he suffered an eternity in hell in those three days to pay for all of our eternities in hell and I and for me the power required to do that is something else isn't it that's amazing that is beyond any sort of supernatural power that he could have just evaded capture and killed them or whatever else Jesus God willfully died for us willfully died for us physically and spiritually that's amazing isn't it absolutely amazing yet he still submitted to the Father didn't he he still submitted to the Father he was still an example to us submitting to the Father and in Philippians chapter 2 you can turn there if you like Philippians chapter 2 great couple of verses here that just make that so clear Philippians 2 6 who being in the form of God talking about Christ here thought it not robbery to be equal with God but made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men and being found in fashion as a man he humbled himself and became obedient unto death even the death of the cross what an amazing God we have what an amazing Lord we have absolutely amazing go back to verse 19 guys it you know that to me is it's a great little passage then it's good reminder for us when we get a bit puffed up even the Lord Jesus Christ humbled himself became obedient unto death even the death of the cross gave verse 19 back to John 10 there was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings and many of them said he had the devil and is mad why hear ye him okay that's the reprobates isn't it that's a reprobate the twice dead the sons of Belial many of them and many of them said he had the devil okay and again you know in this time that we're in now don't you think they're probably many many more and look you know it's such a truth of the Bible this in it and it's missing sadly and it's miss it's been missed in anyone here who's had it been at any previous churches in this country obviously I don't think any one of them believe this doctrine understand this doctrine but it's such a clear part the Bible it's such an important part of the Bible and it is something that we that we have to deal with in life don't we and we have and again we don't have to be just constantly accusing everyone and calling everyone it but on the same man we don't want to just avoid that part it's a bit uncomfortable don't want people to feel a bit you know awkward and think about this no like that there there were many many said he had the devil yeah and and and that that you know that that what happens you call him a devil you say Jesus Christ has a devil because they said he had the devil yeah that they're in danger of eternal damnation so me the the blaspheme in the Holy Spirit these people are reprobates and there were many them and now there are many many more okay because people have got worse and worse and worse and worse so look the truth is there are many around and there are many in our lives and I was talking to a brother the other day and just talking about people back in my past it just when it starts dawning on you how many reprobates you probably knew I like and you're looking back not so old because they were all like flaming sodomites it's easy to just go well they you know sodomites reprobates that's it no I'm talking about like blatant psychopaths when you look back at how they behaved and the way they behaved and when you look into this wow there are so many there are so many and so many that were basically a thorn in my side when I was young and leading you into all sorts of sort of wicked situations and stuff like that and man there are many there are many verse 21 others said these are not the words of him that had the devil can a devil open the eyes of the blind okay remember this is straight off the healing of the blind man in chapter 9 yeah verse 22 and it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication it was winter and Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch then came the Jews round about him and said unto him how long does thou make us to doubt if thou be the Christ tell us plainly they just want to accept it and worship him don't they it's like oh just tell us because we just want to want to worship you oh maybe not yeah he cuz he's already told them in a variety of ways isn't it it's like he spelled it out in this way that way he's tried every different angle Jesus asked them I told you and you believe not the works that I do in my father's name they bear witness of me it doesn't matter what he says it does they still won't believe will they it's a refusal to believe like these atheists are sometimes think you know and you know it doesn't matter what amazing creation they see what unique beautiful flower without any other purpose and being a unique beautiful flower what unique beautiful creature you know that you just wow how did you even come up with the idea of that it just doesn't matter it's just a sheer refusal isn't it in the same way here it's just a refusal it's just it doesn't matter what you do what you say no verse 26 but ye believe not because ye are not of my sheep as I said unto you they don't believe because they're not saved pretty simple isn't it they don't believe because they're not saved my sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me and I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand my father which gave them me is greater than all and no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hand I am my father a one what a great few verses there for eternal security I'm great and I used to use this a lot in gospel presentations I do sometimes as well but I think originally when I was first just preaching the gospel I used to use this all the time you know for this this was my chosen eternal security passage he says my sheep hear my voice and I know them and I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish shall never perish not might not perish and it's not because they're now perfect is it it's not because they're now perfect because they will keep repenting of their sins they shall never perish yeah and you know sometimes it's confusing how people get that but again because they're not of the sheep they don't hear his voice do they and they choose not to when you're trying to show it to them you know it's like like I know if they look at this they think like salvation turns you into some sort of repenting robot okay well I'm saved it's eternal because I will just always repent of every sin I do it says bizarre is I had I had one of these today and she just would not get over that you know no in fact she did get over eventually then claimed she already was saved but then kind of went back you know anyway but they're just so frustrating these people aren't they but but again when they years in these Pentecostal churches and preaching out that full stuff it's so hard to get them out isn't it no one can pluck them out of his hand not even yourself because many people come out with that one don't know you know you know that like oh well only if you give up your your faith you know only if you choose to give up well what what are you not a man are you not a person because obviously it's talking about person here no no man no man he said neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand my father which gave them is greater than all and no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hand he says I am a father one look no one can just take you away from God can they no one can take you away it doesn't matter verse 30 when he says I am my father one that's one God that is in three persons yeah I am my father a one God he's not saying I am my father the same person yeah which is ridiculous because he's talking and praying to his father a lot as well as many many other truths right verse 31 then the Jews took up stones again to stone him in verse 24 they said then came the Jews round about him and said unto him how long does thou make us to doubt if thou be the Christ tell us plainly he's just basically told them and now they want to kill it oh but but but he said that he was one you know with God the Father that's why they want to kill him you know but but what does Christ mean anointed Messiah yeah so what they what who do they think he is if he's saying he's the Christ that's what he's saying I mean you don't have to turn there but just a couple of verses just remind you that Isaiah 7 14 therefore the Lord himself this is prophesying of him shall give you a sign behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel which as we know means God with us yeah it's not oh well the Christ is someone separate is God with us Isaiah 9 6 said for unto us a child is born unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called wonderful counselor the mighty God the everlasting father the prince of peace okay he is God in the flesh the Christ was always going to be God in the flesh wasn't he and now that he said it tell us plainly he tells them now they're going to try and kill him because really they just want an excuse to kill him don't they it's like tell us so that we can then have an excuse to kill you verse 32 Jesus answered them many good works have I showed you from my father for which of those works do you stone me so look these murderous Jews have just taken up stones are holding the stones and Jesus is still talking to them at this point isn't it so he's still talking to them verse 33 the Jews answered him saying for a good work we stone thee not but for blasphemy and because that thou being a man makers thyself God Jesus answered them is it not written in your law I said ye are gods now this is from Psalm 82 if you want to turn there and by the way he said he said here is it not written in your law so that's the Psalms here being called the law yeah I think many people think it's just the Ten Commandments so it's just you know the the Torah now that's the Psalms being called the law as well and from Psalm 82 in verse 1 it says God standeth in the congregation of the mighty he judgeth among the gods how long will ye judge unjustly and accept the persons of the wicked sealer defend the poor and fatherless do justice to the afflicted and needy deliver the poor and needy rid them out of the hand of the wicked they know not neither will they understand they walk on in darkness all the foundations of the earth are out of course I have said ye are gods and all of you are children of the Most High but ye shall die like men and fall like one of the princes arise Oh God judge the earth for thou shalt inherit all nations now God's here with a small G I believe now I've heard is preached in different ways I mean some have maybe gone back to back to Genesis 3 maybe as well but I know I just think it's just talking about them being elevated above the world because as we know the God small G talking about throughout the Bible are not gods are they they're not gods they're just idols people devils and ultimately Satan is really behind all of that isn't he being elevated to God and in and just being elevated above people so they're not so not being elevated God being elevated above people okay so here I believe that when he's saying ye are gods and all of you are children of the Most High well by being children of God and then I believe this Jesus explains that in the next verse of verse where we were of John there of John 10 where he says where are we where he says sorry about being gods he says Jesus said is it not written in your law I said ye are gods then he goes on in verse 35 if he called them gods unto whom the word of God came and the scripture cannot be broken say ye of him who the father of the sanctified has sent into the world of thou blasphemous because I said I am the Son of God so verse 35 if he called them gods unto whom the word of God came and I believe that it's basically by being the ones who receive the Word of God okay that they're elevated above people it's not that they're gods small G in terms in terms of they've got some sort of power I just believe they're elevated by people they were given the Word of God they are gods you know in the in the world being elevated by others that's how I read that verse so verse 35 they because he says if he called them gods unto whom the Word of God came that's what I think that's why what it's talking about I don't think it's talking about that one verse and the scripture cannot be broken because it's a power the power of the word they were it came to them first didn't it say ye of him whom the father sanctified has sent into the world thou blasphemous because I said I am the Son of God so Jesus is showing the hypocrisy of their stance based on that isn't he but he's also stating who he is even clearer so he's kind of arguing back remember they got the stones already to stone him and then he's saying then he kind of adds it a bit more there he says say ye of him whom the father has sanctified and sent into the world thou blasphemous because I said I am the Son of God so he's getting even bolder here really with them he's making it clearer verse 37 if I do not the works of my father believe me not but if I do though you believe not me believe the works that ye may know and believe that the father is in me and I in him and that's it if he was just some guy claiming to be God you could see how it might irritate them couldn't you but he's doing miracle after miracle healing casting out devil's many are believing on him for salvation they have no excuse today they have absolutely no excuse verse 39 therefore they sought again to take him but he escaped out of their hand and like I said the other week they're trying to murder God they're still they they you know they can't argue it they're just trying to murder they're still trying to murder God how wicked what a wicked wicked religion that is because there are some wicked false religions in the world aren't there okay but modern Judaism is a false religion that that comes from people that were trying to murder God I mean that's something else isn't it absolutely something else and yet we have churches and I could go on a rabbit hole of this every week but it winds me up so much that you have churches around this country and around the world that are trying to get us to elevate these people these people that are full that they're not a race they're following a religion they're following a religion which which at least 2,000 years ago was trying to murder God and ever since is blaspheming him and trying any other way to turn people against him and everything else it is absolutely wicked is it and it is I'm so look I'm not sorry because look people who call themselves Jews yeah I've got nothing against those people any more than any other false religion look for me I'd love to get them saved but the truth is that religion has to be the most wicked as in it that religion is wicked that Babylonian Talmud is wicked it's blasphemous and people that get into it they get I think they reprobate sooner than any other religion because what they do they're teaching them that Jesus has a devil they're teaching that he's some sort of magician and all the other filth it's wicked it's a wicked religion it's not a race it's a religion yeah we've got nothing against people that want to call themselves a race of Jews but the religion is wicked it's absolutely wicked and I mean trying to murder God that's something else isn't it you know murders one thing trying to murder God amazing verse 40 and went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized and there he abode and many resorted unto him and said John did no miracle but all things that John spake of this man were true only more people like John the Baptist they if the Pentecostals especially the Charismatics focused on speaking the truth they wouldn't never be trying to do miracles would they spend the whole time trying to do miracles and prove something with the miracles of tongues and miracles of this and miracles of that or what did John the Baptist do he just preached the truth didn't he John did no miracle but all things that John spake this man were true and that's something that's something we could all learn from isn't it yeah forget trying to you know trying to just oh what works can I look we should want to do works for God don't we but but ultimately we want to make sure that we're spot on with truth yeah and the truth comes to the Word of God doesn't it verse 42 and many believed on him there and that's that many again many believe many believe many believe me throughout the Gospel of John we see it pretty much every single chapter that many believed how many are in the upper room at the beginning of Acts 126 many many many many and 126 people why because if you get saved it doesn't mean you're automatically going to be a disciple if only again there's the few remnant of saved churches in this country could get that idea into the head they might go out and continue to preach the gospel and not put it all down to whether or not that person turns up at church whether or not they do the discipleship program whether or not they get baptized that's got nothing to do with it many many many many believed on him what does it take to be saved believe in the Lord Jesus Christ our shall be saved okay but many believed but many didn't become disciples did they because being a disciple if you continue in my word then are ye my disciples indeed there's a condition there to be a disciple you need to continue in the word to be saved you need to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ two separate things and if only people could get that through their head it would be great because then they might actually have more of a zeal for soul winning again because again we could put too much focus on what we gotta get them to the church you know they're not going to how do it you know we want to disciple him yeah sure you know off the Great Commission in Matthew is about discipling them yeah but the first part of the Great Commission is getting people saved and look that should be our main motivation and whether or not they come to the church they're saved aren't they yeah we want to get them yeah we want to disciple yeah we want to do that but look throughout the Gospel of John many many many people believed and many didn't become disciples in fact the vast majority did it on that let's pray father I thank you for your word I thank you for the great truths there thank you for eternal life you know and and thank you that we do hear your voice and thank you that you know us and that we follow you and thank you that you give unto us eternal life and that we should never perish and it's just you know it's an amazing truth it's something that sometimes I think we could take for granted and thank you for for what you've done for us and thank you for your many other truths thank you that everyone here is is trying to be a disciple thank you for that please help us to be a good disciple to follow you to follow your word to love your word to follow your commandments and help us to do that this week help us to keep you in the center of our week help you help us to to be more like you in in in the workplace in in you know thank you for today we thank you for the salvation's please help us to get people saved in the week and help us to be back here next week to worship you to honor you and to go out and get people saved in Jesus name we pray all of this
