too fussed about our little little page but um we have got this bizarre situation haven't we where basically people are lining up across the world for what is at the best some sort of experimental jab isn't it right at the best some sort of experimental technology and and that's that's without being a complete pessimist about it um and that's at the best and it's a trial isn't it and on that note and it's something so I haven't preached on this properly yet there's been some great sermons out there with with guys that have got a bit more time to research this stuff as well but um if you are even contemplating if you if it's even crossed your mind to to put this junk in your body then I'm sorry but you're nuts you're absolutely crazy if anyone is even it's even crossing their mind you are nuts okay you are nuts and and the word of god I think is clear about this but let alone if you're a safe child of god so you're nuts if you're just some run-of-the-mill person walking around who's they've got out there that they haven't just buried you know Pfizer were fined 2.3 billion dollars for illegal marketing and off late on in this off label drug case so this is in USA today this is something that they've tried to fact check because people are using it to say look what are you doing and and everyone's admitting that they got fined this money it's just whether or not you know it was based on on it's basically the finer points but this was the story back in 2009 so in the largest healthcare fraud settlement in history pharmaceutical giant Pfizer must pay 2.3 billion dollars to resolve criminal and civil allegations that the company illegally promoted use of four of its drugs including the painkiller bextra the us department of justice announced wednesday okay this is criminal and civil allegations against a company producing things which people around the world are just lining up to get jacked into the arms these are criminals these these are criminal companies besides bextra drugs with geoden an anti-psychotic zyvox an antibiotic lyrica an anti-epileptic drug once the food and drug administration approves drugs docs can prescribe them off label for any use but makes cut market them for anything other than approved use listen to this Pfizer subsidiary from pharmacy and upjohn pleaded guilty to a felony violation for promoting off label use of bextra such as for pain relief after knee replacement surgery at the FDA's request Pfizer pulled bextra off the market in april 2005 because of its risk including a rare sometimes fatal skin reaction outweighed its benefits it had been approved only for treating rheumatoid arthritis osteoarthritis menstrual pain so this is causing a rare sometimes fatal skin reaction they're fully aware of this and these guys are marketing it for these uses i mean these people are absolute scum surely we should look well to their going shouldn't we um as part of the settlement Pfizer pfe will pay a criminal fine of 1.195 billion dollars the largest criminal fine ever imposed in usa for any matter and these fires are producing one of the i'm right here Pfizer's one of these vaccines isn't it um according to the justice department pharmaceutical and upjohn must pay a 105 million dollar criminal fine okay they also paid a billion dollars in civil damages and penalties to compensate federal health care programs for false claims submitted as a result of its marketing bextra and other for drugs for off label use or unapproved dosages in an interview wednesday with usa today former Pfizer sales representative job kobchinski said he was told to distribute 20 milligram samples to rheumatologists and orthopedists even though the fda had approved only 10 milligram dose of arthritis if you look into the fda by the way what they approve isn't probably something to go off as safe the 20 milligram dose were approved only for menstrual pain yet kobchinski says he never called on gynecologists or other doctors who would treat that complaint in 2003 kobchinski 45 a west point graduate filed the first whistleblower lawsuit leading to the justice department investigation kobchinski says he was inspired by dave display he just got fired and that generally seems to be what goes on so looking well they're going you wouldn't really trust these people would you anyone's does anyone trust these sorts of people kickbacks false claims at medicaid rebate statute astra zenica 520 million dollars astra zenica the one that they were injecting all the elderly with off-label promotion kickbacks that was the problem with them um false claims act they were pulled up on Pfizer in 2004 430 million dollars off-label promotion on urontin false claims act astra zenica in 2003 355 million dollars medicare ford xylodex prescription drug marketing now the name you might not have heard who is moderna so moderno are the ones that are basically a new company set up for and and in fact the i think the um the name's a bit of a kind of it's a bit of a take on the mrna technology that they're using anyway now moderna a new company but again they're no less dodgy so in february 2016 a nature editorial criticized moderna for not publishing any peer-reviewed papers on its technology unlike most other emerging and established biotech companies and compared its approach to that of the controversially failed theranas so in september 2018 thrillis published an article titled why this secretive tech startup could be the next serenas criticized its reputation for secrecy and the absence of scientific validation or independent peer review of its research though having the highest valuation of any u.s private biotech company at more than five billion dollars a former modernist scientist told stat it's the case of the emperor's new clothes they're running an investment firm and then hopefully it also develops a drug that's successful now how about this a conflict of interest of board member in may 2020 moderna board member dr monkeff slough sloughy resigned from the company to become chief scientist for us's operation warp speed anyone heard of that operation warp speed this is a group designed to accelerate the development of a covet 19 vaccine the guidance went from moderna to to the u.s operation warp speed sloughy continued to hold more than 10 million dollars in stock options in the company in his new role while the federal government invested 483 million dollars in the company to assist in covet 19 vaccine trials senator elizabeth warren called the holding a conflict of interest and said slowly should have divested his options just it's just amazing isn't it but point being quite big that that the simple believeth everywhere but the prudent look at the prudent man look at the world to his going and should we not should everyone surely before they even and again there are many reasons not to get that but surely looking at these people why on earth would you trust anything people are lining up for it i mean what about what about when we know where it's headed because we can all probably see where to a point we got an idea where this is going i mean already we're seeing travel restrictions aren't we being being brought in and i don't want to be too negative because there's been a lot of a lot of persuasion hasn't there there's been a lot of suggestions of what they'll restrict which has resulted in many people just lining up for a shot haven't they but so far so far we know that there's going to be less quarantine if you're double jabbed i think is that the only one so far that's actually been that's actually going through after all the suggestions you might not be able to oh and nightclubs isn't it nightclubs amen to that okay but but you know the travel restrictions for maybe for someone like myself most of my family are in this country i've got a couple of members of family abroad it's not so much of a big deal for me but for many people here there's and and many people may be watching online there's the thought of look i might not be able to see certain family members again i might not be able to see certain family members that could be a pretty disappointing thought can't it that could be pretty for some that that's got to be pretty pretty depressing if you want to use that word um what about some of the life restrictions as well so again for you know okay i won't eat out anymore if that's if it comes to that i won't do this okay we can all cut those things off but for other people they're they're worried about jobs aren't they some they're worried about jobs worried about maybe family members outer family member will they still come and see them anymore will they still get to you know get to see some of their external funding they want to get saved that are now starting to be angry with them considering them some sort of threat to humanity because they haven't lined up for the shot um there could be that can't they're like i said job prospects the persecution that people are worried about maybe that will come with this persecution at least from family and friends persecution in in in the workplace persecution just in society in general and make it harder maybe um but you know people are worried maybe concerned am i going to be able to to go to the to the grocery store in the future am i going to be able to get this or go there or do that my kids are they're still going to be able to do these certain you know fun hobbies and try these places and things there's there's got to be some worry out there and it's not just covid related is it so of course we've got this crazy situation going on but there's a lot of this could be tough times in life going there there'll be some real tough times a lot of us can can be you know could be concerned about many things there could be lots of worries there could be lots of things which feel like they suck your joy out of life parenting can be tough can't it parenting in this day and age especially but parenting in general can be tough and and it's easy for us well joy joy and having kids yeah but for for some it can be it could be a it could be a rough time can't it and there could be many challenges that come up for some it's a lack of children some people it's just not having kids some people want to have kids they can't have kids maybe they don't they're not married or maybe they are married they're finding that difficult um and then there's a single people i'll tell you you're a single bible believing christian and it's not like you know there's just all these all these people to think to choose from just you know someone's saved in this country's hard enough isn't it finding someone saved and let alone someone who wants to live for god um and then for some of us maybe maybe it's the aging you know that can be that could be a sobering thought for many so as you get older the the years start to tick by quicker and quicker um you know and and you kind of think wow life's just passing you by financial issues as we said many people they have financial worries can really really suck joy out of life illness as well um illness can be tough and and i'm not just talking about when you're sick for a week or two weeks some people suffer with chronic illness don't know some people are just constantly dealing with illness day in day out and and again and then you're told right you know be joyful you're a christian and that can be tough um and what about this wicked nation we live in this wicked nation sometimes it can be hard to be skipping down the street singing oh what a beautiful morning when you're skipping past the the the flaming sodomite and the rest of the weirdos and the people that aren't even turning their eyes to the trans whatever that you've all passed and no one even seems about an eyelid anymore you see these kids and you're looking at them thinking wow like what on earth are we creating in this country what's the next generation going to be like and let alone just just the liberal freaks and weirdos and just just everywhere everywhere so look if i haven't sucked the joy out of you yet then uh amen you guys are doing well but but you know with that list and you know that's just off the top of my head so off the top of my head they're just things that can bring you down they're things that can suck the joy out of you there are things which can you know you're told to have joy in life but sometimes it's not that easy so how do we find joy in all of this how do we as christians how do we as bible believing christians find joy in all of that and all of that and and a growing list and a longer list for many people and there's lots of things which can do that and like i said for some it's easier some of us you know are naturally maybe more upbeat more joyful people and other people aren't are they other people aren't and it's not that they're lesser people it's not that they're a worse christian but some people just naturally they don't find that so easy do they they don't i don't know if it's upbringing if it's just the way they are or if it's many other things but let's have a look because because the word of god the word of god gives us some things gives us some ways to be joyful um but the first thing to point out is that there is a link between our behavior and our joy okay there is a link between how we behave and our joy in life if you have a look at psalm 32 where we were there and the last verse there verse 11 said be glad in the lord and rejoice ye righteous and shout for joy all ye that are upright in heart all ye that are upright in heart now you might be saying well the righteous here it's just talking about the righteousness imputed to us by christ well again it's talking about the upright in heart as well i think he's talking about people that are trying to live righteously people that are trying to live right don't know acts 13 acts chapter 13 joy is one of the fruits of the spirits in galatians 5 and we know it says the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace long suffering gentleness goodness faith meekness temperance against such there is no law so the second one there the fruit of the spirit love joy in acts chapter 13 verse 50 to 52 it goes hand in hand with the holy ghost from verse 50 but the jews stirred up the devout and honorable women and the chief men of the city and raised persecution against paul and barnabas and expelled them out of their coast but they shook off the dust of their feet against him and came unto iconium and the disciples were filled with joy and with the holy ghost it goes hand in hand they're filled with that joy and with the holy ghost proverbs 29 18 you don't understand it says where there is no vision the people perish but he that keepeth the law happy is he he that keepeth the law happy is he when we live right when we're in the spirit we should be filled with joy shouldn't we we should be filled with joy but it's not always so easy it's not so easy to get in the spirit when you're not when you're feeling down is it when you're low you're stressed you're unhappy it's a vicious circle and then you often find it hard to get in the spirit don't you okay so it's not just oh well i've just got to live better because sometimes then it goes hand in hand you start indulging start feeling sorry for yourself and then that sin becomes a block the sin starts to become a block doesn't it that starts to then go further down you start to go more downhill and then it's hard to pick yourself back up and for so many people that are many christians they deal with this this is a this is a reality on sometimes a day-to-day basis well god like i said gives us key key areas of our life where you can find your joy and the title of my son was finding the joy in christianity and number one is the joy of salvation number one the joy of salvation turn to psalm 51 psalm 51 now david has just been rebuked by god through nathan the prophet for bathsheba this is a particularly low time for david here okay this is a bad time in his life if anyone doesn't know the story basically he's committed adultery and then he's basically committed murder okay and sent off you're either hit hard to die um and and to cover up the fact that he's basically committed adultery with bathsheba he's impregnated her i mean this what an absolute mess um he's just been rebuked by it and psalm 51 if you have a look at verse 12 david says well from verse 11 he says cast me not away from thy presence to take not thy holy spirit from me and this is obviously talking about being filled with the spirit not talking about losing salvation restore unto me the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit he said restore unto me the joy of that thy salvation our salvation shall should fill us with joy shouldn't it should fill us with joy whatever happens whatever happens in life everyone in this room that's put their faith in jesus christ everyone here is going to spend eternity in heaven i mean there should be some joy that should be something we can remind ourselves of daily something i remind myself of when things are hard it's just remind yourself you're saved you'll save whatever happens it doesn't matter what happens in this vapor of a life because it is but a vapor isn't it doesn't matter you have eternity eternity in heaven and what a great thing to remind yourself of when times are hard you know whatever happens that's where you're going and and nothing could change that can it absolutely nothing can change that you don't have to wonder you don't have to wait and see see what god decides at the end you know on that you know or saint peter or whatever the nonsense at the gates or the other rubbish they come out we don't have to worry about any of that do we because we know the truth we know what the word of god says the word of god says he that believes in me have everlasting life you know we have everlasting life you cannot lose everlasting life it wouldn't be everlasting and that's the amazing thing to know turn to uh first peter chapter one well you're turning there psalm 13.5 says but i have trusted in thy mercy my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation i have trusted in thy mercy my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation rejoice in it that's something you could celebrate every day couldn't you celebrate it every day that you are saved you are destined for heaven no matter what happens first peter chapter 1 verse 8 to 9 talking of jesus christ says whom having not seen you love in whom though now you see him not yet believing you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory receiving the end of your faith even the salvation of your souls joy unspeakable and it should be joy unspeakable shouldn't it you know and sometimes i know it like life gets hard doesn't it and other things get in the way and other things start hitting you and getting on your mind but we should have joy unspeakable we're saved yeah yeah we're every single person here is a saved christian we're saved we're we're you know whatever happens we're destined for heaven he says here he says yet believing you rejoice he didn't say you rejoiced when you got saved he said yet believing verse 8 you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory okay that's something that should be ongoing and ongoing rejoicing turn in romans chapter 15 romans chapter 15 and verse 13 says now the god of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope through the power of the holy ghost that's all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope what's that hope well titus 1 2 says in hope of eternal life which god that cannot lie promised before the world began okay and and again we should be filled with that joy filled with that joy and that peace that comes from believing from knowing you're saved what an amazing truth um okay so find the joy of christianity number one is the joy of salvation something we should remind ourselves of every day i believe especially when you're having low times number two the joy of the bible number two the joy of the bible turn to psalm 119 psalm 119 and verse 161 psalm 119 verse 161 princes have persecuted me without a cause but my heart standeth in awe of thy word i rejoice at thy word as one that findeth great spoil so even during persecution he's in awe of this book okay so even during he says prince of persecuted me without a cause but my heart stands in awe of thy word and no matter how tough life is if you found some great spoiler that's basically that's a big a great treasure if you found some findeth great spoil read it rejoice at the beauty the truth the power turn the proverbs chapter and the and the fact that you're a proverbs chapter three and the fact that you're able to to understand it because the vast vast majority of the world it's like reading a different language on open this book isn't it chapter so proverbs chapter three and from verse 13 happy is the man that findeth wisdom and the man that get his understanding where'd you get that from this book no for the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver and again they're of the fine gold she is more precious than rubies and all the things our cancer desire are not to be compared unto her length of days in her right hand in her left hand riches and honor her ways are ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace she is a tree of life to them that they hold upon her and happy is everyone that retaineth her we have it we should retain it retain it in our hearts as well but we should retain goeth forth and weepeth bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again with rejoicing bringing his sheaves with him so even if times are bad even if you're going through a rough time in life when you get someone saved it's a time of joy isn't it isn't it a time of joy when you get someone saved and look we sometimes we could go to some receptive places we could kind of maybe just gloss over it subject unto us through thy name so they've just returned with joy haven't they and they're and the the devils are subject aren't they they're subject unto us there's a power in the gospel isn't there there's a power in the gospel that we are honored we're honored to possess aren't we but we wield this power we have the holy spirit in us and we're able to go out get people saved and and and wow you know maybe if you put your spiritual glasses on you'd see some amazing stuff when you're going on and and they're subject subject to this gospel um but even someone else's soul winning should cause us joy so even if you're like well i haven't managed to get out or i haven't got i haven't got anyone saved and that's not the point anyway is it but regardless someone else even if you you haven't managed to get out for whatever reason turn to acts 15 acts 15 and verse 3 says in acts 15 3 and brit being brought on their way by the church they pass through phoenicy and samaria declaring the conversion of the gentiles and they cause great joy unto all the brethren okay they cause great joy unto all the brethren by declaring the conversion declaring the conversion of the gentiles so basically by telling them of their soul winning they were causing great joy so just hearing of other people's hearing last night i mean that should cause us great joy shouldn't it that we should just be wow that is that is great like this is amazing people are getting saved and and i don't think anyone here probably isn't but but regardless we should just be happy shouldn't we we should be happy we should hear of people solely i'm not saying you know everyone has to literally tell of every single salvation if they want it they want to share it great amen high five um and just being a part of a church like this should bring us joy shouldn't it being part of a church like this that's that in this little small church of ours is one of a kind in the uk we're up to nearly 600 salvations in a year 600 salvations every single person here is a part of that every single person is a part of that nearly 600 salvations so far i mean we're going to hit the thousand aren't we i'm going to easily we're going to hit the thousand and what what an amazing thing to be a part of and that should bring us joy shouldn't it okay that that declaring the conversion of all these gentiles in the uk that should cause great joy unto everyone that calls themselves one of the brethren yeah okay so find the joy in christianity number one was the joy of salvation number two the joy of the bible number three the joy of so many and when you are feeling low get out there get out so winning anyway when you're feeling down just get out get out because it makes such a difference isn't it but the least listening to other people getting people say should should bring you joy right number four the joy of church the joy of church so turn to psalm chapter 42 psalm 42 from verse one as a heart panteth after the water brook so panteth my soul after thee oh god my soul's thirsteth for god for the living god when shall i come and appear before god my tears have been my meat day and night while they continually say unto me where is i god when i remember these things i pour out my soul in me for i've gone with the multitude i went with them to the house of god with the voice of joy and praise with a multitude that kept holy day so our soul sorry should thirst for god in his house shouldn't it our soul should be thirsting for god and to be in the house of god church should be a place of joy shouldn't it and praise it says here he says i went with them to the house of god with the voice of joy and praise with a multitude that kept holy day now again like i said before that that has been hard isn't it for that that has been hard isn't it for probably most people in here that had that that was definitely hard when you were listening to at the least sort of low level heresy um let alone the damnable heresy week in week out when you're sitting there listening to just waiting for the next thing waiting thinking oh eventually that you know it's going to come out when you when you're going to church and you you can't even talk about soul winning because it's going to wind people up there can't talk about the fact that you're homeschool your kids because because it's you know people start getting really defensive or worried themselves when you can't when you go to church all you're listening to is the jews week in week out every single service or when you're going there just listening to the gospel every single week it can get pretty hard can't it and it can be hard to find that joy but we don't have that anymore do it so we don't have that you know i'm trying my best not to preach heresy and about the jews every week i've got a couple of servants on him actually but it's been a bit of a different slide to what you used to but but regardless regardless of any of that we're not you know no one's preaching here so you could come here and you can talk to fellow brothers and sisters in christ about trying to live with god can't you you could talk to them about the word of god you could talk to them and not feel almost ashamed that you're you're putting pressure on them that they now that that pastor is going to follow you around literally even more because you dared to you know talk about the word of god or dared to just mention the fact that you know that you went out soul winning once or something you don't have to worry about any of that you could share it you could enjoy it you could be you could sing hymns you don't have to worry is that oh is he going to start preaching a work salvation or you could worry if you want but it ain't going to happen so there is none of that anymore so with that in mind we can now just come with that joy can't we that joy to church and get and just be a part of a of a real church a real church in this country turn to psalm 43 just over to psalm 43 from verse three oh send out thy light and thy truth oh let them lead me let them bring me unto thy holy hill and to thy tabernacles then will i go unto the altar of god unto god my exceeding joy yea upon the harp will i praise thee oh god my god the light and truth the church is like a tractor beam should be like a tractor beam shouldn't it that light and truth of the word of god of being in a in a place full of people that have the truth that are saved should be something that verse three says oh send out thy life and my truth let them lead me let them bring me unto thy holy hill and to thy tabernacles and and look when you're when you're down when you're feeling low this is the place you need to be isn't it you need to get get yourself in church get yourself in church don't use it as an excuse not to come because it just gets worse doesn't it when you're feeling low just and you know what even in a bad church even in a bad church if it is just about a church it's still better to be there isn't it than not to be in church at all but just the praising of god alone can uplift you can't it think like i was thinking about this think about the money spent around this country and around most of the world on going to the most junk worldly concerts of people with borderline zero musical talent who've just been marketed because they're some sort of you know whatever the picture they want right now some sort of effeminate little skinny jeans wearing queer and it's like right we're going to market him we're going to make him you know we're going to have like you know morons like whatever the version of simon cowell is today just telling people how talented they are because they're marketable and we're going to just convince you know the masses to support it and then and these people get excited don't they they get excited they've gone to this concert they you know the lighters are up at the end or whatever do they still do that i don't know if i show my age a bit here maybe it's a vape sticks i don't know but you know people people get excited about that stuff don't they and it's being a part of something with with other like-minded people it's they feel like this sort of buzz there don't and everything else obviously there's going to be drugs and our connoissement but but the joy they get from that rubbish yeah the joy they get from usually zero musical talent you know and someone's screeching away on something and it's just some song that they've heard it's catchy or something else and they're all just just having this great time but we're all coming together and singing to god we're all coming together and singing hymns of the faith you know and okay we might be a cappellaing it not so great sometimes and you know and but it doesn't matter does it because we all get together we're all singing to the lord and what a great thing to do and what a joyful thing that should be and we should be getting more joy than the worldly concert goers shouldn't we we should be getting more joy we should be here just enjoying that loving that singing to the lord knowing that the lord is listening to us and loving it and it pleases him we're making a joyful noise unto the lord aren't we um psalm 27 6 says and now shall mine head be lifted up above above mine enemies round about me therefore will i offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy i will sing yay i will sing praises unto the lord and that's how we should feel here shouldn't we should be offering sacrifice of joy when you're here get joyful enjoy your singing to god and he's listening to you that's amazing so find the joy christianity number one was joy of salvation number two the joy the bible number three the joy of soul winning number four the joy of church number five the joy of walking with god the joy of walking with god turn to psalm uh chapter five so psalm five verse 11 says but let all those that put their trust in me rejoice let them ever shout for joy because thou defendest them let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee so that's not just salvation that's that daily reliance on god isn't it that's that daily reliance on god thou defendest them talking about god here um and and those that put their trust in it he he does defend us yeah if only we knew if only we really knew what was probably going on on a day to day probably an hourly basis i mean you're you're some of the few not only are you some of the few saved christians in this country but you're some of the few saved christians in this country that are actually going to a proper church and trying to live for god and are going out soul winning and uh and they're reading your bibles and uh and they're trying to do things right and are bold enough to actually say the truth to people and to preach the truth to people in your daily lives and everything else we have all got beacons above our heads we have all got beacons above our heads and you know what if god wasn't defending us and protecting us we would probably all be finished off really quick okay you ain't doing it on your own strength okay and we can often we can look at life oh why has this happened and why that and oh it just feels like god didn't help me with that yeah but you don't know how much he actually has been helping you with you know so much and yeah we still have to live life don't we we still live life and we still go through the trials and tribulations of life but i tell you what if we had our spiritual glasses on now it'd probably be there's warfare probably going on above this church probably warfare on that on that staircase right now i think the our guardian angels are holding off the forces of evil while we speak uh truthfully you know like you know we're we're doing something big in this country okay we're doing something big and it's going on right now and you know we we have to we have to we have to put our faith and trust in god with that don't we because you're doing it on your own no one's doing it on their own he defends us doesn't he and as as well it said here let them also that love thy name be joyful in me like the joy someone might feel when they're freshly in love when they're newly in love with someone but the difference is god's not going to start annoying you after a bit of time you're not going to suck he almost does that that's not going to happen with god is it so this is the sort of love that you can have you don't have to worry about what the future holds with that he's not going to let you down when you get to know him is it god doesn't let you down when you get to know him oh now i know him better i wish i hadn't got into that relationship it doesn't happen does it god doesn't let you down he's not he's not going to leg it at the first sign of trouble is it i sometimes think about this when i see some of these guys out nowadays you're thinking wow like you know that you just the effeminacy just shining off of me you're thinking you know what when they're out with their wives you're thinking if the trouble went off you can imagine these guys like you get you know that's the truth isn't it but god ain't gonna do that you don't have to worry that ladies here you don't have to worry is god gonna excuse me it's god gonna leave you to it you don't have to worry about that guys we don't have to worry about because we need him don't we you know some of us think we're tough but we need god don't we we need him and he's not gonna leg it he's not gonna he's not gonna run he's not gonna leave you too he's not gonna forsake you um turn to psalm 28 when i read psalm 146 verse 5 psalm 146 5 says happy is he that have the god of jacob for his help whose hope is in the lord is god so we should be happy that we can call on god can't we he is our help you can call on him you can ask him psalm 28 7 says psalm 28 verse 7 the lord is my strength and my shield my heart trusted in him and i am helped therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth and with my song will i praise him and the lord is my strength my shield i reckon that a good shield would be a good cause for rejoicing wouldn't it i'd like to have a good shield and like a good old battle shield i'd be pretty chuffed if someone gave me a shield for my birthday in fact it's my birthday coming up soon my wife's listening to this a nice big shield yeah that'd be pretty cool wouldn't it but but god's better than the shield isn't he but he he is his the psalmist says here the lord is my strength and my shield my heart trusted in him and i am helped therefore my heart greatly rejoiced it and with my song will i praise him and imagine how let down you be if you were trusting in your buddha amulet imagine how let down you'd be if you were trusting in that or your buddha tattoo or whatever it is it's like all the rage nowadays you know that's going to sort me out i used to know a lot of people that used to get this stuff and um and just crazy i get these like buddha you know big tattoos on their chests and backs they're going to compete and then they get beaten up just wondering what went wrong because buddha's a dumb idol yeah he ain't helping you um you got oh what about if you trust in you in your hindu animal god you know you've been making all your little you know your little shrines to whichever one of the million ones it was feel a bit let down wouldn't you at times hey yeah your little hindu animal god or maybe your crucifix trusting in that your little amulet of saint whatever michael or or who's the one saint christopher you know for safe travel you know and they're all praying to it and kissing it and everything else ain't doing nothing for you ain't helping you you're only going to let you down but god doesn't let you down does he yeah yeah we have to go through tough times in life but the lord is my strength and my shield my heart trust in him and i am helped he will help you he does help you therefore my heart greatly rejoices and with my song i will praise him now turn to some 637 says because thou has been my help therefore in the shadow of thy wings will i rejoice okay and we should be rejoicing should we rejoice in the shadow of god's wings he has his wings over you he looks after you he protects you um and again when times are hard just remember that you walk with god you've got he talks to you through this word you know you can talk to him you can pray to him he helps you he protects you so find the joy in christianity number one joy of children now for some of you expectant mothers those watching or listening it might not always feel like it you know and it it can be tough can't it it can be tough and it can be tough being pregnant it can be tough not just being pregnant it can be tough with newborns it can be tough with older kids you know having kids can be tough turn to john's chapter 16 gospel of john chapter 16 verse 21 john 16 21 a woman when she is in travail have sorrow because her hour is come but as soon as she is delivered of the child she remembereth no more the anguish for joy that a man is born into the world there's a joy isn't it that manages to surpass what can be a pretty traumatic birth experience can't it in fact a lot of the time you know i think we like to think oh it's just so natural that you know they just come out you know it's it's awful it's everything else but the truth is having kids can be pretty tough can't it but it's amazing isn't it how quickly after what should probably cause years of post-traumatic stress heads up within five minutes not even that of of of mums just being full of joy yeah that a man is brought is brought into the world and it's an amazing thing isn't it it's amazing thing having kids um psalm 127 5 says happy is a man that had this quiver full of them they shall not be ashamed but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate so that joy should continue shouldn't it we should be happy to have a multitude of children but there's a bit of a condition with children isn't there there's a bit of a condition turn of proverbs chapter 17 it's not just automatic happiness let's break it to you guys in case anyone's under any illusions here it's not automatic happiness for children proverbs 17 verse 21 says he that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow and the father of a fool hath no joy the father of a fool hath no joy there's no joy coming from a foolish child okay no joy it's not well you know i get a bit of joy once you if you beget a fool you do doeth it to your sorrow okay and and like i said the joy isn't automatic with kids it's not automatic is it when you go out there you walk out on the streets and you see some of the most worldly kids and you see the junk they get up to you see the way they behave they see the way they talk the way they act that you think those parents are getting joy from that i don't care how cool that parent thinks he is i don't care how worldly that parent is they ain't getting joy from it they're not yeah they might get that little bit of you know dodgy pride when they think how tough their kid is or they think how you know how how street their kid is or whatever the rest of it but the truth is when you're worried that your kids is going to get locked up when you know your kids is ruining their lives it's just going to be a mess there is no joy there is there there's no joy and it will suck it out of you any joy that you did have from having kids turn to proverbs chapter 23 there is a condition isn't there chapter 23 verse 24 says the father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him thy father and thy mother shall be glad and she that bear thee shall rejoice the joy comes from righteous children doesn't it okay and firstly obviously getting your kids saved is a must isn't it there's some joy there knowing that you'll always see your kids in heaven for eternity once your kids are saved but regardless it says he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him my father and my mother shall be glad is she that barely shall rejoice we want our kids to be wise don't we and and right now in in this day and age trying to raise wise children i think it's it's hard yeah okay we oh well we homeschool them yeah we you know we we keep them away from from the schools we we keep them in the word of god but that's not just okay job done then job done because it's tough and the influences are everywhere aren't they the influencer and kids are so easily influenced aren't they so easily and it can just take a short amount of time and and the negative influences we there's so much to do but if you do it right if you do it as god wants you to you can get so much joy from them guide you when you're watching your children grow up and they're getting older and they're wise and they're living for god and they're loving the word and that that's a great thing isn't it and that's something that should bring us joy and seeing our kids trying to you know going against the grain and not being like 99.9% of kids in this country is something that that should bring us joy shouldn't it okay but it comes from the wise children but there is a joy there so find the joy in christianity number one was the joy of salvation number two the joy of the bible number three the joy of soul winning number four the joy of church number five the joy of walking with god number six joy of children and last one number seven the joy of persecution the joy of persecution turn to luke chapter six luke chapter six luke chapter six and verse 22 says blessed are ye when men shall hate you and when they shall separate you from their company and shall reproach you and cast out your name as evil for the son of man's sake rejoice ye in that day and leap for joy for behold your reward is great in heaven for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets okay the key part of this verse by the way is for the son of man's sake yeah so it's not when you're getting reproached and persecuted for just being an obnoxious idiot yeah but just trying to wind people up for just trying to be in their face no the key part of this verse is for the son of man's sake verse 22 the end of verse 22 okay it's not that we're necessarily seeking it is it but but blessed blessed are ye when men shall hate you and when they shall separate you from their company you want to be separated if your old worldly friends ain't separating you from their company if they still really want to be around you there's a problem yeah something's up yeah if your old worldly mates are still you know just so what okay there's one thing they might be trying to draw you back into that life but if they really just want your company something's going wrong there okay blessed are ye when sorry blessed are ye when men shall hate you when they shall shall separate you from their company and shall reproach you cast out your name as evil for the son of man's sake and you know what that doesn't happen to your worldly liberal you know limp-wristed christian does it okay oh they're just so nice oh they're just so what we've told you christian should be that happens when you actually stand firm on the word of god that happens when you say the truth what the bible says about sodomites that's what happens when you say what the bible says about how men and women in a relationship should be yeah that's what happens when you tell them what the bible says about many many issues in life isn't it okay when what the bible says you're going to hell without without faith in jesus christ okay and and how many so-called christians are not getting any of this because they're not standing on the truth they're not saying it as it is they're not saying the truth i'm not saying you have to go there and just start preaching you know you know leviticus 2013 to every one of your family and friends but you know what when it comes up you shouldn't be ashamed of the word of god should you yeah preach the word of god talk the word of god and and we should be just just lining up with the word of god shouldn't we with everything we say everything we think turn to first peter chapter four first peter chapter four and verse 14 if ye be reproached for the name of christ happy are ye for the spirit of glory and of god resteth upon you on their part he is evil spoken of but on your part he is glorified okay if you be reproached for the name of christ happy are ye okay we're we should be happy when we reproach for christ but a lot of people find that hard don't they so a lot of the time it can be difficult it could be difficult you know my family are just turning on me that old old auntie whatever doesn't want to talk to me anymore or you know doesn't come and see the kids anymore or anything else but but when it's for the name of christ we should be happy happy um he is glorified in that first thessalonians 1 6 says and ye became followers of us and of the lord having received the word in much affliction with joy of the holy ghost so even in much affliction there was a joy of the holy ghost yeah okay well even in those hard times there should be a joy and again it goes hand in hand doesn't it because it kind of goes full circle back to the beginning what i'm saying at the beginning here you don't have to turn the second timothy 3 12 says yay all that will live godly in christ jesus shall suffer persecution okay so if we're living right if we're living godly we are going to suffer persecution but if you're living right you should be full of the holy ghost shouldn't you now i'm not saying you're going to be filled every minute of every day but you should be seeking to be in the spirit shouldn't you should be seeking to be filled with the holy ghost when you're living right though you will eventually suffer persecution so it's a kind of it can be a vicious oak for some because then the persecution comes in they don't start feeling and then they feel rubbish and they don't get the joy and then and then it's hard to get back right with god but no you should seek that joy get that joy from the persecution then stay in the spirit say you've been right for god um that's where instead of being miserable about that persecution we should find that joy should we find that joy remember that we should be happy okay you're having just a fraction of what jesus christ went through um and that's even if even if at the least you just remind yourself that the afflictions are improving you have a look at um just last last one now turn to james chapter one james chapter one and from verse two my brethren count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience but let patience have a perfect work that you may perf that you may be perfect and entire wanting nothing so count it all joy in those tough times count it all joy you're getting improved you're learning patience you're becoming more complete yeah you're becoming more complete you're learning that patience you're becoming more of the person that god wants you to be and at the least just remind yourself of that when you're going through those tough times find that joy there and then with everything else find the joy in christianity the joy of salvation when you're having hard times remind yourselves you're saved you're saved you go to heaven no matter what happens the joy of the bible you have the word of god you have the ability to understand the word of god you have the holy spirit in you read the word of god get the joy from that word of god remember like we said those people that don't have this just at every store and to be able to just get one home delivered on the next working day you know we should appreciate this we have the word of god the joy of soul winning remember that joy when you're feeling low get out there get soul winning get that joy from other people as well but get out of yourselves get out there get that enjoyment from going out preaching the gospel to people the joy of church get that joy from church come to church don't avoid it when you're low when you're down when you're here enjoy singing to the lord get that joy number five the joy of walking with god remember that joy we have god we have he's our shield he's our protector he's there he's our help he hides us in the shadow of his of his wings he i mean what an amazing person to have the god of this world to personally walk with you to help you to guide you give you strength remember that joy the joy of children when you do it right do it god's way raise them god's way and you will get the joy from them you know you go through tough times when they're young you go through that there's going to be hard times you know they can sometimes sometimes when they're really young as well they can be little pickles can't they you know and you got to go through that because you could do two things then you could just give them what keeps them happy shuts them up you know oh i just just give them something you know like the worldly way give them an ipad or whatever else as they get older just shove them in front of something i'll tell you what you're gonna have a monster when you're older you go through it when they're young right go through it you lock horns you win win when you're young and you're you'll have it you'll have you'll have a wise child for life and number seven was the joy of persecution when you're doing things right when you're doing things for god you will get past it enjoying get the joy from that be happy that you're counted worthy to suffer it um on that let's pray father i thank you for your word i thank you um thank you for all the areas of our life that you've given us that to seek joy to seek joy from you seek joy from from the christian life and and help those of us here and those of us watching online that that find this hard that have these low times and have these low moments help them to to pick out these parts of of the christian life to to to realize that joy again to to fulfill themselves with that to rejoice and to be happy and um help us to just keep all these things in our mind and even those of us that maybe don't suffer with this so much to just just be even more full of joy to to be lifted up and and and just full of the happiness that comes from from being a a saved child of god and we thank you for that um thank you for this day please help us this afternoon to to go out and and to show people the joy of salvation um get people saved and to try and disciple them as well and getting the lord just guide us guide us to the right people today and please bless our afternoon
