(Disclaimer: This transcript is auto-generated and may contain mistakes.) Well, good evening, everyone. Welcome back to Mountain Baptist Church. Take your songbooks and turn to song number five. Song number five in your songbooks, we'll sing When I Survey the Wondrous Cross. If you would stand, we'll sing song number five. When I survey the wondrous cross On which the Prince of glory died, My richest gain I count but loss, And pour contempt on all my pride. Forbidded Lord, that I should boast, Save in the death of Christ my God, For all the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to His blood. See from His hand, His hands, His feet, Sorrow and love flow me, go down. Did e'er such love and sorrow mean, Or thorns composed so rich a crown, Were the whole realm of nature mine, That were a present far too small? Love so amazing, so divine, Demands my soul, my life, my all. Let's pray. Heavenly Father and Lord, we just want to thank you, God, for today. Thank you, God, for the service this morning. Thank you, God, for the great sermon this morning and also for the souls that were saved this afternoon. So now that you would just meet with us, I pray that you would bless everything that's said and done. Fill our pastor with your spirit, for it's in Jesus' name we ask all of it, amen. All right, may be seated and turn to song number 10. We'll sing Near the Cross, song number 10. Jesus, keep me near the cross, There a precious fountain, Free to all a healing stream, Flows from Calvary's mountain. And the cross, and the cross, Be my glory ever, Till my raptured soul shall find, Rest beyond the river. Near the cross, a trembling soul, Love and mercy found me, There the bright and morning star, Sheds its beams around me. And the cross, and the cross, Be my glory ever, Till my raptured soul shall find, Rest beyond the river. Near the cross, O Lamb of God, Bring its scenes before me, Help me walk from day to day, With its shadows o'er me. And the cross, and the cross, Be my glory ever, My raptured soul shall find, Rest beyond the river. Near the cross, I'll watch and wait, Hoping, trusting ever, Till I reach the golden strand, Just beyond the river. And the cross, and the cross, Be my glory ever, Till my raptured soul shall find, Rest beyond the river. I was checking the sound. It sounds fine. I recorded the sound and everything. I don't know what happened to the sermon this morning where it all dropped out. It can't be the stream. I don't think it's streaming because it was the recording that had it as well. So I'm going to put that on your task list there because I'm starting to not care anymore about that whole situation. So you're here to hear the sermon, and that's it. I'm done. Now obviously we want to try to get that fixed, but I think we had three this week, right? So one on Monday, two on Wednesday, and then I know we had one, Charles and Brother Wade, you guys had one. Was there any others today? So it was just hard knocks. Did you guys go to the Wynwood? Okay. So what is that, five? So good job with the soul winning. And just on the bulletin there, just some general announcements. Obviously we have our mother baby room for the mother and babies only offering box in the back there. Just remember that any offerings and stuff like that, it doesn't get counted until after the Sunday afternoon service. So if you put something in on Wednesday, if it's a check or whatever, it's not going to get dealt with until that week. So just so you know that. Unless you're doing something different, but I think that's the way. Yeah, okay. Soul winning times, we have our normal soul winning times, but just remember that now it's Monday instead of Tuesday. That brother Charles is leading up there. And then our Bible memory, we have Psalm 12 and Hebrews 4-12 for our memory verse for the week. We have the ladies prayer, or the men's prayer meeting, not ladies, the men's prayer meeting at the end of the month here. That's on the upcoming list. And we will be trying to plan some soul winning marathons, obviously this year. We got some areas that we want to try to hit, so just be on the lookout for that as we go into the new year here. Places I want to hit, like Terra Alta, I'd like to hit, just do the whole town in one day. We got Kingwood. Our big ones that we want to hit every single year is Wheeling, Charleston. So those are our big ones we want to hit. But I was just talking with brother Richie, we may go to Parkersburg or something like that and try to hit that. Maybe we'll do Martinsburg so we can hit the north, south, east, west, hitting all the directions, I don't know. But anyway, I think it's fun to do those types of things. We haven't done a Pittsburgh one in a while, but we'll see what we can get in the schedule there when it comes to that. And then we got the birthdays already. Pregnancy is being a prayer for all the ladies on the pregnancy list. And so Ms. Ruth, Ms. Ginger, Ms. Catherine, Ms. Alyssa, and Ms. Rachel on the list here. So being a prayer for all these ladies, but again being a prayer for all the ladies that just had babies and for the recovery and all that and just being a prayer for the families there. About all I got, we're going to try to figure out this whole life situation. I feel like we're in the foyer there, it's like nice and bright, we come into a cave to have church so we got to get that figured out. So bear with us with the darkness. I don't know what's going on with that. Just a reminder, if you have any invitations in your car or anything like that, try to flush all that stuff out so you don't get those mixed up. So you're not putting an invitation on the door that has our old address on it. So we got new ones and so just try to remember that. Who's reading tonight? Brother Anthony? Picking it up again? Alright, so Brother Anthony's going to be reading. We're going to continue on a Revelation series. So Revelation 19, Brother Anthony's going to read that after we sing one more song. Alright, take your song books and turn to song number 12. Song number 12, we'll sing Blessed Redeemer, song number 12. Up Calvary's mountain one dreadful morn, While Christ my Savior weary and worn, Facing for sinners death on the cross, That He might save them from endless loss. Blessed Redeemer, precious Redeemer, Seems now I see Him on Calvary's tree, Wounded and bleeding, for sinners pleading, Blind and unheeding, dying for me. Father, forgive them the steady pray, Eaten while His lifeblood flowed fast away, Praying for sinners while in such woe, No one but Jesus ever loved so. Blessed Redeemer, precious Redeemer, Seems now I see Him on Calvary's tree, Wounded and bleeding, for sinners pleading, Blind and unheeding, dying for me. O how I love Him, Savior and Friend, How can my praises ever find end, Through years unnumbered on heaven's shore, My tongue shall praise Him forevermore. Blessed Redeemer, precious Redeemer, Seems now I see Him on Calvary's tree, Wounded and bleeding, for sinners pleading, Blind and unheeding, dying for me. All right, take your Bibles and turn to Revelation 19. Revelation 19, we'll have our designated reader, I guess, Brother Anthony, come and read that for us. Revelation 19, Bob reads, And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, Saying, Alleluia, salvation and glory, And honor and power unto the Lord our God. For true and righteous are His judgments, For He hath judged the great whore, Which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, And hath avenged the blood of His servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia, and her smoke rose up forever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshiped God, That sat on the throne, saying, Amen, Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye His servants, And ye that fear Him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, And as the voice of many waters, And as the voice of mighty thunderings, Saying, Alleluia, for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, For the marriage of the Lamb is come, And His wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, Clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And He saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at His feet to worship Him, And He said unto me, See thou, do it not, I am thy fellow servant, And of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus, Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. And I saw heaven open, and behold, a white horse, And he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, And in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, And on his head were many crowns, And he had a name written that no man knew but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, And his name is called the Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, Clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, That with it he should smite the nations, And he shall rule them with a rod of iron. And he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords. And I saw an angel standing in the sun, And he cried with a loud voice, Saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great, That ye may eat the flesh of kings, And the flesh of captains, And the flesh of mighty men, And the flesh of horses, And of them that sit on them, And the flesh of all men, Both free and bond, Both small and great. And I saw the beasts and the kings of the earth, And their armies gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse and against his army. And the beast was taken, And with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, With which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, And them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone, And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, Which sword proceeded out of his mouth, And all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Let's pray. Dear Lord, thank you for this time. We can gather again and continue to learn from the book of Revelation. I pray God should be a pastor Robinson. Help us all to learn this afternoon. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Amen. So you're there in Revelation chapter 19. And we are continuing our study through the book of Revelation. And honestly this is the finale of God's wrath. Barring, you know, count the fact that he's going to throw Satan into the bottomless pit or into hell for a thousand years. But this is really the finale until, and then you go into the thousand year reign of Christ. And so we kind of saw the finale with the seventh trumpet, seventh vial being poured out. And the fact that you have all the nations falling. You have, you know, this great hail. But then you have Babylon being destroyed in one hour. And you have this great battle. So this chapter is going to be dealing with the marriage supper to the lamb. In other words, the battle of Armageddon or the place of Armageddon where the battle is going to take place. And, you know, what people, you know, especially in the pre-Trib Baptist realm, the marriage supper to the lamb has been portrayed as if we're like eating some dinner with the Lord. And we're having like this marriage feast up in heaven and passing the rolls and all that stuff around. But that's just not the case. Actually what the supper is going to be talking about is the fowls of the air eating the flesh of like captains and kings and those that took the mark of the beast. So this marriage supper is actually a little more graphic, a little more, you know, not like a feast. Like it's not a potluck, okay. This isn't a Baptist potluck. This is, you know, a battle where all the enemies of the Lord are going to be killed and these birds are going to eat their flesh. So that's what we're dealing with here. But let's look at verse 1 here because we just got out of chapter 18 where Babylon was destroyed. And we see here that there's a lot of rejoicing over this and obviously in heaven we'll be rejoicing when this actually happens. But in Revelation 19 verse 1 it says, After these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven saying, Alleluia, salvation and glory and honor and power unto the Lord our God. For true and righteous are his judgments, for he had judged the great whore which did corrupt the earth with her fornication and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia, and her smoke rose up forever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshiped God that sat on the throne saying, Amen, Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants and ye that fear him both small and great. So we just saw that Babylon got destroyed and who is Babylon? But that great whore that sitteth upon the beast. So in chapter 17 we see that the woman that sitteth upon the beast, that great whore, is that great city which is Babylon. And I believe if it s in our day that s America being destroyed. But we have basically all those in heaven, whether you have the seraphims, which are the four beasts, or if you have, you know, just the angels, the twenty-four elders, and all the saved are going to be rejoicing when that happens. And one psalm just always rings out when I think about this. When you think about God judging the earth and the saved rejoicing over it. Go to Psalm 58, Psalm 58, Psalm 58 and verse 6. Psalm 58 and verse 6. You know, all these contemporary Christians, if you will, all these, you know, a psalm a day, a proverb a day, you know, they never pick, they're always, I feel like they have a very small group of verses to pick from in Psalms because there's so much in Psalms that is rough. That is not the cue, like, I'm fearfully and wonderfully made, you know, and those are all great verses. But, you know, in that same passage where it says, I'm fearfully and wonderfully made, it says, do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? I mean, that's the same passage, right? So, anyway, in Psalm 58 and verse 6 it says, break their teeth, O God, in their mouth. Break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord. Let them melt away as waters which run continually. When he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces. As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away like the untimely birth of a woman that they may not see the sun. Before your pots can fill the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living and in his wrath. And you say, wow, that seems rough. Well, thorns and briars are likened unto those that are the children of the devil, or sons of Belial, as it says in 2 Samuel, and as it says in other places in the Bible, that which beareth thorns and briars is rejected and is nigh on the cursing. You're dealing with, this lines up perfectly with Revelation 19 because all those that are killed in this battle are all those that took the mark of the beast, all those that are twice dead already and that are destined to hell anyway, and they're all going to be killed. That means in a thousand year reign there's not going to be any reprobates going into that thousand year reign. I believe you're going to have a mixture of saved and lost, saved and, you know, believers and unbelievers, but none of them are going to be past feeling or in that position, you know, going into it. Every single tear, if you will, every tear is going to be cast into the fire, okay? And that's the end, that's the end game, you know, and the great wine press of the wrath of God, if you will, but it also talks about the binding the tears into bundles that they may be burned. He's going to bind them all and that's where you see that there's so many parables and so many things that link to this moment in time of this battle that's in Armageddon to this marriage supper lamb. But let's keep reading there in Psalm 58 because you may say, that seems a little rough, that seems a little rough, you know. I mean, David, you must have been having a bad day. And I've heard people say that some of these psalms are like, oh, David was in the flesh. No, the Holy Ghost spake by the mouth of David. I mean, the psalms are all the word of God. That's the Holy Ghost speaking right there. Obviously, David said it and David was right to say it. And so that being said, you have in verse 10, the righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance. Let me read that again. The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance. Now, you need to put your cupcake Christianity down for a second and realize that the Bible actually teaches that we're going to rejoice when God pours out his vengeance on this earth. We're going to rejoice. Do you see all the praise the Lord, hallelujah, her smoke ascendeth up forever. And they're saying, praise God, hallelujah. I mean, that doesn't sound like the Joel Osteen Christianity that's on TV, does it? No, that's actually biblical Christianity. That's actually what the Bible teaches. And notice what it says, and keep reading there. It says, the righteous shall rejoice when he seeeth the judgment. He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. That's a Bible verse. That's scripture. You say, that seems a little rough. Well, is God too rough for you? Maybe you need to get a picture of who God is. And get a picture of what true righteousness is. Because, you know what? When I think about a bunch of pedophiles, and a bunch of rapists, and a bunch of people that are psychopathic, that hurt people, that are just the worst of the worst, that are going to be killed at this battle, and it says that their blood is going to go up to the horse bridles, yeah, I think I'll wash my feet in the blood of the wicked, and I will rejoice over their death. That's biblical. Now, notice what it says in verse 11. It says, so that a man shall say, verily there is a reward for the righteous, verily he is a God that judges in the earth. So that, that is actually what's going to happen. And you know what? There's going to be a lot of Christians that right now in this life would say, you're wicked for thinking that way. That's wicked to have that mentality. Guess what? They're going to be there rejoicing because they're actually going to be in the new man at that point. Because you know what? All those weak Christians that don't want to read their Bible, that don't want to get past proverbs, you know, the proverb of the day, that actually read the Old Testament, the New Testament, good night, we're in Revelation, what's going on right here, that, you know, he's going to kill all these people and he's going to let the fowls eat their flesh, and they're all going to split hell wide open. But yet, you know what? They don't want to think about that. They think that, you know, God's just all goodness and light, and there's no justice, there's no judgment. But you know what? When you think about people getting hurt, and people being murdered, and people being kidnapped, and all the wicked stuff that goes on in this world, if you were God and you saw that every single day, wouldn't you rejoice too? And God will rejoice. And it talks about when he comes, that his voice is going to be like a woman that travaileth. Meaning like he's keeping silence right now, but when judgment comes, the hammer's coming, and the sword is coming, and he's going to let it down hard. And when it comes in Revelation, listen, we're going through Exodus and we're going to see the plagues in Egypt, but the plagues in Egypt aren't going to come close to what's going to happen in the future. Imagine all the things that you see from Genesis up to Revelation as far as what God has done and put all that together. Because if there's going to be tribulations such as the world has never seen, there's going to be the wrath of God, which the world has never seen, and it's going to be righteous indignation, and we're going to be rejoicing when it happens. And so I love this psalm because it just puts things into perspective. Yes, we should love our enemies, but those that hate God, we don't love. And we should regard these psalms as being scripture, that this is the word of God. And obviously things need to be in the right place. You know, the old lady that we give the gospel to that doesn't get it, I'm not like, break her teeth in her mouth, oh God. I mean, that obviously doesn't apply to her, right? You know, I'm not saying that about her. Or even the person that cuts me off or the person that's trying to slight me or whatever the case may be, I'm not saying this psalm to them. But the person that hates God and is past feeling and their conscious has been seared with a hot iron, yeah, that applies to them. Now, we see that with, obviously, the demise of Babylon. And then we get into this marriage supper of the Lamb, if you will, the marriage of the Lamb. And Revelation chapter 19 and verse 6 here, let's read on. And this chapter, I'm really going to be hitting on this battle of Armageddon, this marriage supper more than anything. There's little things in here that I could spend more time on, but just for sake of time, I'm not going to spend a whole bunch of time on it. But Revelation chapter 19, verse 6, it says, And I heard, as it were, the voice of the great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundering, saying, Alleluia, for the Lord God, omnipotent reigneth. Now, this is where you see, you know, Jesus Christ is going to rule and reign for a thousand years. And omnipotent, omni means like all, and potent is like powerful, so basically all powerful. But this would be like the same as the Lord God Almighty. When you think of the word Almighty, that's the same as omnipotent. So, we're talking about the fact that Christ is reigning. This was stated when the seventh trumpet sounded. So it's almost like, you know, he's reigning now, and it's time to just judge everybody. And if you know the timeline of the beast was going to reign for 42 months, that ended at the sounding of the seventh trumpet. But in Daniel, there's another timeline, meaning that there's the 1260 days, which is 42 months, that is given to the beast to reign. But then there's another timeline that says, From the abomination desolation, which is when the beast starts to reign, till the end shall be 1290 days. There's an extra 30 days there. And not to bore you with timelines or anything like that, but that means from the seventh trumpet sounding, that ended the reign of the beast. But you know what that 30 days is? Punishment. Like, Christ is reigning. It says, when that seventh trumpet sounds, it's the finale and it states that the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ. And that, you know what, at that point, he's reigning. And when it says here, the Lord God omnipotent reigneth, he's reigning. He's reigning and he's reigning and he's bringing judgment on the world. So I hope that makes sense that he's reigning at that point, but he's cleaning the house. He's cleaning the house. For those 30 days, you have all the cities and nations are going to fall. Babylon's going to come to remembrance. It's going to fall and burn up in one hour. Then all the beast and the false prophet and all his minions are going to be gathered together in this one place called Armageddon and he's going to take them out. That's what's going to happen. He cleans house. And now keep reading here in verse 7, so Revelation 19, verse 7. I wasn't really planning on getting that fire on the sermon, but you know, how can you read Revelation when you're going through this and not get excited about what's going to happen? Because this is victory, my friends. The marriage supper of the Lamb is a victory. It's going to be exciting for us. Not for them, though. It's going to be fearful. They should be afraid. But it's going to be an exciting day when we're there at the marriage supper of the Lamb. And so I just think of everything that's going on in this world and if you want to feel better about everything that's going on in the world, just read the end of Revelation and see what happens at the end. Because we win. And we don't just win. It's not like a close fight. What you're going to see here, this is not a close fight. This whole time it's like, well, you know, could the devil... Is there competition here? Is it like this real big battle? Here's the battle for the souls of men, for the hearts of men, to get as many people saved. That's where the battle's at because God gives us free will and obviously the battle's between Christ and the devil as far as winning the hearts of men or obviously the devil wants us all to go to hell. But as far as beating the devil or beating the antichrist, as far as having power over them, it's going to be like that when the Lord takes them out. We'll get to that at the end here. But in Revelation 19, verse 7, it says, Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him, for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. So notice how the Bible uses a lot of the time is come. Like I said, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ. That means when that seventh trumpet sounds, boom, that's at that moment that's happening. Here, when we're in Revelation 19, it's there, right? So we're seeing that this is happening. At that moment, this is the marriage supper, and it says, For the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Verse 8, And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not, I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren, that have the testimony of Jesus, worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Obviously, I've already touched on this, but this angel is one of the seven angels that have the seven last plagues, or the seven vials. It's obviously someone that's saved. It's a Christian. It's a believer. But what we see here is that we have this marriage of the Lamb, and his wife hath made herself ready. Now, what this is going to be is all believers, the saints. Now, a lot of people say, well, the church is the bride of Christ. Well, it could be, if you're talking about when we're all in one place. But church means congregation, and so you've got to be careful with that when you're saying the church is the bride of Christ. You know what it's saying the bride of Christ, or the wife is? Saints. All believers. I mean, that's what the Bible says here, isn't it? And it's talking about the saints that have fine linen, clean and white, because you're dealing with people that are saved. Now, go to Revelation chapter 21 and verse 9, and it's interesting because the bride, or the Lamb's wife, if you will, is also, the city is also called that. So the people, the saints are called that. So here you just see it's the saints, it's those that have the fine linen, she hath made herself ready. I mean, we see stuff about the church that you can kind of loosely see where people are coming with that, because it talks about in Ephesians that he might present the church as a chaste virgin, you know, clean and spotless and all that. Locally speaking, yes, I would agree with that. You know, like local churches, you know, that's our prerogative, is that we're all, like, living for the Lord, and we're separate, and we're walking in the Spirit as a church holistically. But there's not this universal church, okay? This universal church that just encompasses all Christianity. No, there's the holy nation of believers. You know, we're a holy nation, but we have individual churches that make up that holy nation. And eventually, we'll all be in heaven together. I mean, when this happens, sure. You know, you could say the church is the bride of Christ because we're all in one place, we're all congregating together for this battle. So, yes. But just to say that now, like, right now, the church is the bride of Christ, you know, that's where you get into this universal church stuff, so you've got to be careful with that, okay? Bring in my coffee. So, Revelation chapter 21 and verse 9, I just want you to see here that even the city itself is referred to as the bride or the lamb's wife. In Revelation 21 and verse 9, it says, And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the lamb's wife. And he carried me in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. So, why is that also called the bride of Christ? Well, all the saved are going to walk in it. So, you can be talking about the bride of Christ is this city that's comprised of all believers. And people take, you know, the bride thing too far in some cases, meaning this is that you've got to take it in context. People will take John the Baptist talking about how he's the friend of the bridegroom, right? And state, get into this Baptist brighter type stuff, okay? There's context to everything. I mean, John the Baptist was bringing, he was sent for it to prepare a way for the Lord, right? So, you have, obviously Jesus is the bridegroom, but to think that John the Baptist isn't part of the bride, you know, like a part of the Lamb's wife. He's not, is he not in that group? And what you're doing is you're taking what's said here in Revelation 19 and saying that's exactly what was meant over here in John chapter three. And you have to do the same thing with parables and kind of separate those parables. This parable over here, you know, that term may mean something different based on the context of what's being taught than over here. Okay, and this happens a lot. So, you can't just say, well, over here, you know, bride meant this and it was talking about this. Well, like I said, I could show you where the bride is the city itself that's made up of stones and gold and all that. Over here, I can show you where the bride is this. And I think both are true in that case, but obviously what we're dealing with here is, you know, New Jerusalem and go to Hebrew chapter 12 because the reason that I wanted to show you this is because when you think of people being in heaven, there's a city in heaven called New Jerusalem or the heavenly Jerusalem. And right now, there is a general assembly of believers in heaven, but that's not where all believers are at right now. So, to say, like, the church is the bride of Christ, what church? How many churches? Right, if you said all believing churches are the bride of Christ, okay, but what about people that don't go to church? You know what I mean? Like, you got to think about your choice of words when you say that, because not everybody goes to church. Actually, most people don't. So, you would be right to say that all believing churches that have believers... But here's the thing, in the believing churches, there's plenty of people... There's people in there that are believers. So, how about you say this? All the saints... All the saints are the bride of Christ. All the saints are the lamb's wife, okay? And in Hebrews chapter 12, verse 22, obviously, at this church, like, in heaven, they're all saved, okay? Because they're in heaven, so they obviously have to be. But in Hebrews chapter 12, verse 22, it says, But ye are come unto Mount Zion and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. So, when we're talking about this new Jerusalem that's coming down from heaven, that's there right now. And it says, And so, yes, in heaven, you have a general assembly, if you will, of believers. But right now, that's not all believers, right? You have believers that are down here still living, that are all throughout the world, in church or not in church. And, you know, so you've got to be careful in what you say there when it comes to that. But at the Battle of Armageddon, that statement would be true, because all believers are gathered together there, okay? So, but I just tend to just say, you know what? Let me just go with what the Bible says. The lamb's wife are the saints. The lamb's wife is that new Jerusalem that's coming down from heaven. That's what the Bible teaches, and I'm going to stick with that. And when you start trying to put in other things, like, well, ergo this, you know, this equals that, therefore this equals that, it's like you start getting convoluted, and now you're not even in the context of what's being said. So, the reason I say that is because there are weird doctrines out there, like the Baptist writers, and you're like, what are you talking about? There's people out there that believe that, you know, there's a lineage of being baptized from John the Baptist to where you're at now, and if you're not baptized, then you're not part of that bride. Like, there's a bride that doesn't include all believers. Okay? That's basically what they're stating, that the bride of Christ is like those that were baptized from John's baptism, and then, you know, John baptized so-and-so, right? Let's say he baptized Apollos, and then Apollos baptized someone else, and then this person baptized that person. You go down the line, you know what that sounds like? An endless genealogy. Good luck finding that one. I don't remember. You know what? I've gotten on ancestry.com, and, you know, you can kind of see, like, birth certificates, but I don't see baptism certificates, you know, from going back to John the Baptist. So, you know what? If you're going to come in here and tell me, you know what? I was baptized by someone that was baptized by someone that was baptized by someone that goes all the way back to John the Baptist. You know what? Pass the bologna, or pass the bread because the bologna's already been around, because that is just insanity. I'd be more convinced that you said, I am a son of Abraham because I have the genealogy going all the way back to that, or I'm of Shem, because it's just... Anyway, so I want... The reason I say that is because there is weird doctrines out there, and so you just want to be careful on your terminology when you're talking about the bride of Christ or the lamb's wife. Stick with what the Bible says, and you won't get in trouble with that, okay? So, where am I at? Revelation chapter 7. Go to Revelation chapter 7. So, when it talks about the saints and having this clean and white fine linen that they're wearing, that represents something, okay? It represents purity because we were sinners and now we're saved, and it says it's the righteousness of saints. But is it our own righteousness? Because it says that it may be found in him not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteous which is of God by faith. The idea here is that when I believed on Christ, his righteousness was imputed unto me, and therefore these robes, they represent the righteousness of Christ that was applied to us. And how was it applied to us? Well, Revelation 7 verse 14 says this. It says, And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest, and he's talking about where did these people come from, this great multitude found in heaven, and he said to me, These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and have washed the robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Now that seems like that's not possible, right? If you think about like, all right, I'm going to wash my garment off and I'm going to dip it in blood. But the blood makes you pure, okay? The blood of Christ, that's what cleanses us from all sins, that's what forgives us from our sins. We are washed by the blood of the Lamb, and that's where we get this clean and white garment is by the blood of the Lamb. We have overcome Him, you know, talking about the dragon, by the blood of the Lamb. And we have made our garments white by the blood of the Lamb, and that is who's standing there at this marriage of the Lamb is because we've been saved by the blood of the Lamb. Not by our own works, not by our own righteousnesses, it's by His righteousness that we stand there, okay? So, you know, obviously people could look at it and be like, well, you know, it's the righteousness of saints because they live a good life. Nope, nope, if you're trying to live a good life, you're not going to be standing there, you're going to be standing before the great white throne judgment where you're going to be judged according to your works. But what I want to point out here is that there's two passages I want to get to, and one, there's a parable about the wedding, the wedding parable, and I believe that that wedding parable is talking about this event. A lot of people have looked at the wedding parable and said, you know, this is heaven, and it's weird because someone's literally getting kicked out of heaven then, okay? But if you understand this, and go to Zechariah chapter 3 first. Go to Zechariah chapter 3, and I want to show you something here. First of all, when we get saved, we are given new raiment. Now, I hit this, I think I did not preach a whole, I'm loosely trained to thought of what I preached anymore, but I preached a sermon called White Raiment or something like that, right? And I preached on that. Now, spiritually speaking, we have white raiment on, right? We have the righteousness of Christ, but right now we still have the flesh, the garment, you know, of flesh, if you will. But in Zechariah chapter 3 and verse 3, it says, Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and stood before the angel, and he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. So I want you to see very clearly that this raiment is representing, like, you're casting off your sins, and you're putting on righteousness. Now, that's what happened when we got saved. When we got saved, when we believed on Christ, our sins were as far as the east is from the west. They were cast behind God's back. But God's the one that did it, by the way. And this whole idea of us casting off our sins as far as us doing it, that's not going to work. You need God to do it. And you notice here that Joshua's just being clothed upon. He's telling this angel, Take away those filthy garments and put these on him. Notice who's doing it. It's not even Joshua doing it. He's just standing there and getting the filthy garments taken away and a change of raiment. It says in verse 5, And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head and clothed him with garments, and the angel of the Lord stood by. So I just wanted to point that out in Zechariah, that dealing with these filthy garments. And when you think about verse in Jude, for example, where it says, Some have compassion, making a difference, and others save with fear, hating even the garments spotted by the flesh. And so you can kind of see how garments are regarded to as far as the flesh and sin and the fact that you need a change of raiment. You need new garments. And this is where you get, you know what, you have a new creature and you've been born again. So the Bible uses a lot of different terminology to describe kind of the same thing as far as putting on new clothing, putting on the new man. It's kind of like an aspect of putting on something. But I want to get to this parable of the wedding. Okay, go to Matthew chapter 22. And I obviously preached on this when I went through Matthew. But it's been a little while. It's been a few years, I think, since I've been through Matthew. Because I did Matthew, then I did Acts, then we went to Isaiah after that, I think. So it's been a little while. But in Matthew 22, I want to read this parable. I'm going to read it pretty quick. But I want you to, when you first read it here, notice what it says in verse 1. It says, And Jesus answered and spake unto them, again by parable, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king which made a marriage for his son. So as soon as you see, like, the kingdom of heaven is like unto, you're automatically thinking, I'm in heaven. Like, this is in heaven what heaven is like. Okay? But when you're talking about the kingdom of heaven, you know what, obviously Christ was down here and He's going to rule and reign in that time. So you're automatically thinking, like, I'm in heaven, so all this stuff is taking place there. I don't believe it is. And when you think about this correlating to the marriage supper of the Lamb, that makes a lot more sense. Okay? Because the marriage supper of the Lamb, you're down here on earth and there's saved people and lost people and you're not having people getting kicked out of heaven because there's going to be someone that's going to be kicked out of this marriage. Okay? Now look at verse 3. And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants saying, Tell them which are bidden, behold, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fatlings are killed and all things are ready. Come unto the marriage. But they made light of it and went their ways, I'm sorry, one to his farm, another to his merchandise. So what you have to understand is throughout history, God has been calling people to get saved. And all the saved will be at this marriage. They'll be at this supper. And this is why we go out so many because we want people to get saved and ultimately, if you get saved, you'll be at this marriage, supper. Verse 6. And the remnant took his servants and entreated them spitefully and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wrought and he sent forth his armies and destroyed those murderers and burned up their city. Isn't there a city that just got burned up that we just read about in chapter 18? Verse 8. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good, and the wedding was furnished with guests. Now here's a point where I want you to get where this makes a lot of sense with what we're dealing with. Revelation 19, you're dealing with those that the lamb's wife are arrayed in a certain garment. Verse 11. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment. Now think about what that would mean in Revelation 19. It means that they're not arrayed in fine linen. They don't have the righteousness of God on them. Actually, it says right here in verse 12, it says, And he saith unto him, Friend, how come camest thou in hither, not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Sounds like, you know, Jesus says that to another person. Remember Judas, friend, betrayest thou the son of man with a kiss? And keep reading there, verse 13, And then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, for many are called but few are chosen. Now in that context, you know what, that would make actually a lot of sense because wasn't there some, there's actually two people that are going to be bound and cast into outer darkness. When we're talking about outer darkness, we're talking about, we're not talking about being cast down in hell, we're talking about the lake of fire. Okay, so if you think about this in the aspect of this battle where you have all these people that have taken the mark of the beast, he didn't have a wedding garment on. But not only did this guy not have a wedding garment on, go to Zephaniah chapter 1. I believe the Bible teaches that they had strange apparel on. So in Matthew 22, they didn't have a wedding garment, so they obviously weren't saved. This guy wasn't saved, he didn't have the righteousness of God applied to him or imputed unto him. But in Matthew 22, it doesn't necessarily say that, it doesn't say he was naked, it just said he didn't have a wedding garment on, but notice what it says in Zephaniah chapter 1 and verse 7. Zephaniah 1 verse 7, it says, Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God, for the day of the Lord is at hand, for the Lord hath prepared sacrifice and hath bid his guests. Sound familiar to what are we dealing with, the marriage, supper, and lamb? We're obviously dealing with the sacrifice that's going to be offered unto the fowl of the air. But notice what it says here in verse 8. And it shall come to pass, in the day of the Lord's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their master's houses with violence and deceit. Who's at this place of Armageddon? All those that have taken the mark of the beast. All those that are past feeling. Because Joshua had filthy garments on, which we all had filthy garments on because we were all lost and we all needed saved, right? There's a difference between having filthy garments on, which is dealing with iniquity, and having strange apparel on. So what we're dealing with here is that in this battle, every single person that has strange apparel on will die. And I want this to be very clear that in the battle of Armageddon, or this marriage, supper, and the lamb, not everybody in the world is dying, but all those that are there are going to die. Every single person that's at this battle is going to die, because not every single person in the world is at this battle. But it's all of the beast and the false prophet's armies that are there. And they all have strange apparel on. They're all going to be bound up, and they're all going to die. But specifically, the beast and the false prophet are going to be bound up, and they're going to be cast into outer darkness. And that's what it says at the end, which I'm going to get to. So I hope that makes sense, and I just want to show you those different correlations, both with Zephaniah and that parable of the wedding. So hopefully that parable will make more sense, so that when someone says, see, well, in heaven, people can be cast out if they don't have a wedding garment on. It's like, how in the world did they get in to heaven, right? It's not like someone's at the gates and they made a mistake, and they're like, oh, man, how'd this guy get in here? The idea, though, is that he's making a distinction between the apparel of the wedding apparel that all the saved will have compared to this person that came in that didn't have it. And specifically, I believe it's saying he has strange garments on, and that person is going to be bound up. Because it seems a little rough, right? We read the story and be like, oh, man, I didn't wear the right thing. Like, I didn't know this was a black attire affair, you know, and I came in here wearing blue, and I'm getting bound up and throwing it out of darkness. I mean, it's obviously dealing with a spiritual matter of being saved or being lost, but in particular, this isn't just being lost. This is having something strange on. And I think of Jude where it talks about they go after strange flesh, you know, when that term strange is used. It's dealing with something that's past just being a sinner, past just being dead and trespassing sins. I believe you're dealing with someone that is twice dead that you're dealing with. Because you think about how would you deal with this with, okay, well, you have the children of God, you have the children of the devil. You have, you know, the good raiment, the clean and white raiment, and you have this strange apparel, right? But in the middle here, you have lost people that are just unbelievers. They're not a child of God, they're not a child of the devil, but they're a child of disobedience. They're a child of wrath. They have filthy garments on because they're sinners, but they don't have strange apparel because they're not over here in the children of the devil category, but they're also not children of God because they haven't believed on Christ and His righteousness imputed unto them. So you see how God uses apparel in one case to talk about saved, lost, and reprobate. He also uses like a child aspect or being a child of something as saved, lost, reprobate. Okay, so I hope that makes sense. Revelation chapter 19 and verse 11, this is where Jesus is going to come on a white horse, and the pre-Tribbers always try to take you to this passage when you're in Matthew 24, which makes zero sense, okay? No mention here. You'll see no mention of a cloud, you know, coming in the clouds. You'll see no mention of a trumpet sounding. You know, this is a completely different event, okay? When Jesus comes in the clouds, we're going to be caught up together with Him. This is where we're going to come with Him on white horses out of heaven. You say, well, is that the third coming? Sure. I mean, that's what it states. Okay, He came in Revelation chapter 6, the day the Lord has come, and there's a great multitude found in heaven. You know what? Yeah. He reaps in Revelation chapter 14, the parallel passage, and then here we're coming in the clouds with Him, or not coming in the clouds. We already came in the clouds, you know, or was caught up in the clouds with Him, but we're coming out of heaven with Him. But first here it says in verse 11, it says, And I saw heaven open, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns. And he had a name written that no man knew but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God. Now go to Genesis chapter 49, and I know we kind of already hit on this a little bit, dealing with the line of the tribe of Judah when we were in Revelation chapter 5, but I want you to see this correlation here with how Genesis was going to be talking about this event in Revelation chapter 19, which hasn't happened yet. So Genesis chapter 49 and verse 9, and this chapter is dealing with Jacob talking to his 12 sons about what's going to befall them in the last days. So you can definitely see how this would apply in the last days, which we're in right now, but obviously that's the next thing on the calendar is the great tribulation, the rapture, and God's wrath being poured out. In Genesis 49 and verse 9 it says, Judah is a lion's will. From the prey, my son, thou art gone up. He stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion, who shall rouse him up? So at that point I kind of covered that, right? You know, that he's the lion of the tribe of Judah. I don't really want to get into that again, but in verse 10 here it says the scepter shall not depart from Judah nor a lawgiver from between his feet. Why? Because Jesus Christ is going to be upon that throne. Upon the throne of David, which would be obviously upon Judah, because David is of Judah. It says, until Shiloh come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Now Shiloh, I believe, is a name given to the Lord Jesus about when he's going to come. And it says in verse 11, binding his foal unto the vine and his ass is cold unto the choice vine, he washed his garments and wine and his clothes in the blood of grapes. What do you think that applies to? Maybe the vesture dipped in blood that he's coming in on a white horse with, right? How about his eyes shall be red with wine. And it says in Revelation 19 that his eyes were as a flame of fire. And it says in his teeth white with milk. Now obviously it talks about his face being white, his hair being white, so that makes sense that his teeth are also white. But that being said, as you can see, basically this prophecy, if you will, of the Lord Jesus coming on this white horse and coming to triumph. Now go to Revelation 19, verse 14. Here's where it gets exciting for us. So that's obviously going to be exciting to see. But what you've got to know here is that we're coming with them. And we're coming on white horses. And so this is going to be an exciting event. And, you know, my daughters a lot of times will ask me, are there animals in heaven? I say, well, I know there's horses. So that's for sure because we're going to be riding white horses down from heaven. I personally believe there will be animals in heaven. I'm not sure if, like, all of them are going to be there. Hopefully cats aren't there. But I feel some groaning. Someone likes cats in here. They should have been thrown off the ark with geese. Anyway, so in Revelation 19, in verse 14, this is where this gets real for us. It says in verse 14, And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. So we know we're talking about the bride. We're talking about the saints. Because who's wearing fine linen, clean and white? What was just talked about above there when you're talking about the saints? So we're coming on white horses. In verse 15 it says, And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and he treadeth the wine presses of fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So Jesus is coming and he talks about the sharp sword that proceedeth out of his mouth. What do you think that is? What's our memory verse for this week? The word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. There's no coincidence. I don't think this is like a circus act where we're talking about having a sword down your throat and you're pulling this thing out. We're talking about the word of God. The sword that's proceeding out of his mouth, this sharp sword, is the word of God. Obviously his name's called the word of God. But let me show you something exciting here. Go to Psalm 149. Psalm 149. Not only are we going to come on white horses, I believe we're going to come down with two-edged swords in our hands. Now, I know that the beast and the false prophet are going to be taken out by the Lord, but I'm hoping we get some action in there too. I don't know. Maybe we're just there for moral support. But obviously we're with the army. We're there, but Jesus is just going to speak the word and the false prophet and the beast are going to be bound up and cast into the lake of fire. It's by the word that proceeds out of his mouth. Also, you saw there that it says that he's going to rule with a rod of iron. And you remember in Revelation chapter 12 that that child that was born, that man-child that was born, was going to rule nations with a rod of iron. It's clearly the Lord Jesus that you're dealing with in Revelation chapter 12. So don't want to rehash that too much, but you can see that correlation. Psalm 149. In verse 5, it says, Let the saints be joyful in glory. Let them sing aloud upon their beds. So who are we talking about here? The saints. It says, Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishments upon the people, to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, to execute upon them the judgment written, This honor have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord. Where do you think this is happening? I believe it's happening when we're coming on white horses where you have Jesus on a white horse with a two-edged sword or a sharp sword proceeding out of his mouth. And we're talking about binding kings and we're talking about executing judgment upon them. Go to Jude. Go to Jude in verse 14. Jude in verse 14. I don't know about you, but that's pretty cool. Right? You get on a white horse coming out of heaven with a two-edged sword in your hand and obviously we're going to be following the Lord Jesus Christ. I mean, that's going to be an awesome day. And Jude in verse 14, it says, And Enoch, also the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds, which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches, which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. What do we think we're talking about? We're talking about this battle of Armageddon. We're talking about where he's going to come. And when it says ten thousands of his saints, I believe you could be dealing with a number that's innumerable, which I believe is the case. You're dealing with a number which no man can number. I mean, if you said ten thousands, that could be any number, right? But I believe that's used in a lot of cases to mean basically something that's innumerable. It's just a huge number of saints that are going to be there in the end. And to execute judgment upon all, but it says in this passage, It says, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints. And it says that to execute judgment upon all, and it talks about on them, and it's talking about what's it referring back to, I guess is what I'm trying to say. It says prophesied of these in verse 14. And Enoch, also the central madam, prophesied of these. Well, who's the these? He's got them talking about those that are twice dead, plucked up by the rouge, raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame, wondering stars to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. So who are we talking about? People like Cain, Balaam, and Korah. Well, who are you dealing with in the battle of Armageddon? Same type of people. So it all fits hand in glove when you're dealing with this. Go to Joel chapter 3, Joel chapter 3, Joel chapter 3. This is not in the corner. This is all over the Bible when it comes to this battle. And Joel chapter 3 and verse 1, this idea of God gathering all the nations together and destroying them. That's what this is. That's what the marriage suffered the lamb is. That's what the place of Armageddon, if you will, this battle that's going to be in this place called Armageddon, that's what we're dealing with. Armageddon is not talking about some asteroid trying to destroy the earth. Armageddon is a place, a valley in particular, that God is going to gather everybody to to destroy them. And I want you to get the picture here in Joel. I know we kind of already hit this when we were dealing with Armageddon or that place, but in Joel 3 and verse 1 it says, For behold, in those days and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations and bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and parted my land. So what is he doing? So what is he doing? He's gathering all the nations and he's bringing them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat. Go to verse 9. Verse 9 says, Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles. And Gentiles can mean nations, right, or heathen. It's a lot of times used synonymously. So when we're talking about the Gentiles, we're talking about the nations. It says, Prepare war. Wake up the mighty men. Let all the men of war draw near. Let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble yourselves and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round the bow. That is where you deal with Revelation chapter 16, where they're gathering each other together. That's six vials poured out and Euphrates is dried up to make the way for the kings of the east, that they may gather basically all these people together to this place called Armageddon. So he's calling all these people to battle. Then it says here in verse 11, that second part there, it says, Fither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord. You know who that's talking about? Us. Talking about his armies coming down. And we see that happening, obviously, in Revelation chapter 19. Verse 12, Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley Jehoshaphat, for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round the bow. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is right. Come, get you down, for the press is full. The fats overflow, for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision, for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. So this is where you think of the fact that you had the great wine press of the wrath of God. It's mentioned in Revelation chapter 14, which I believe begins when he starts blowing these trumpets and pouring out these vials. But the finale is this battle where he's gathering everybody together, and where it talks about this wine press and the blood going up to the horse bridles. I believe you're dealing with this battle where people are dying and basically you're going to have these massive casualties and all the fowls are going to eat their flesh. So go back to Revelation chapter 19 and verse 17. And we'll end the chapter here. So again, we're not dealing with a supper that you'd want to have necessarily when it comes to food. Right now I'm kind of hungry. But you're dealing with these fowls feasting. Now I want you to see that here. In verse 17 it says, And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God. Do you see here, who's eating at this supper? Is it us? We're not the ones eating. No, it's the fowl that fly in the midst of heaven. Verse 18, That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gather together to make war against him that sat on the horse and against his army. So who's there? When it's saying that he's going to feast on the flesh and the flesh of all men both free and bond, when it says the flesh of all men, I don't believe it's saying of all men in the whole earth. I believe that you're dealing with in that area, he's saying the flesh of all men both free and bond. So when he's saying like the flesh of all men, he's basically like they're not discriminating whether they're free or bond, whether they're small or great. Whoever's there in his armies that are gathered together with the beast, they're all going to die and they're all going to be eaten by the birds. That's what it's stating here. And then it states in verse 20, it says, and the beast was taken and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone and the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse which sword proceeded out of his mouth and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. So the beast and the false prophet were cast into the lake of fire. The remnant were slain with the sword that proceeded out of the mouth of him that sits on the horse. So obviously I believe by the word of God they're actually going to be killed. Now as far as you say, well what's our part in there? In finding the kings. So I think we have some part in there in this battle and maybe we won't know until that happens but obviously they're all going to die and the beast and the false prophet are going to be the first to be cast into the lake of fire. Right now no one is in the lake of fire. Now go to Daniel chapter 7 because Daniel foretells of this and now it's not going to mention the false prophet necessarily he's going to be talking about the antichrist or the beast if you will and I want you to see that in Daniel it talks about the fact how not only is he going to be cast into the lake of fire but he also talks about how he's going to be broken without hand. And when you're reading through Daniel you're like, what in the world? How's he going to be taken out without hand? And notice what it says in Daniel 7 verse 11 it says, and I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake and I beheld even till the beast was slain and his body destroyed and given to the burning flame. You say, well how do you know that this isn't talking about like hell beneath? Because it says his body was destroyed and given to the burning flame. Because the lake of fire is both soul and body in hell. Okay, so it is hell right, because it talks about God destroying both soul and body in hell. That's the lake of fire though. When you're dealing with soul and body you're dealing with the lake of fire. Daniel chapter 8 verse 24 or 25 Daniel 8 verse 25 it says, and through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand and he shall magnify himself in his heart and by peace shall destroy many. He shall also stand up against the prince the prince of princes but he shall be broken without hand. You know why he's going to be broken without hand? Because Jesus is going to destroy him with the words of his mouth. With the sword that proceedeth out of his mouth. So it's without hand. He's going to be just taken by Jesus' words. And so that's why it's saying that. And when you read through Daniel you're kind of like thinking what in the world? Like what is this talking about? Daniel 11 you don't have to turn there necessarily, but it says in verse 45 it says, and he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain, yet he shall come to his end and none shall help him. That's where that happens. And Revelation 19 at this battle that's where the Antichrist is going to have his demise. That's where he's going to die. And the last thing I want to point out is go to Revelation chapter 20. Is that when the beast and the false prophet are cast in the lake of fire they don't just get annihilated. They don't just get completely burned up and they're just out of existence. And this is where hell really has some gravity here because hell is forever for the people that are there and they are going to be there forever. And it's no different for the lake of fire because you say, well clearly people are going to be in hell until the lake of fire at least. Because where are they pulling all these people up from hell for this great white throne judgment? But then you may ask yourself, well when they're cast in the lake of fire are they just completely annihilated? Well let's see what happens with what it says about the beast and the false prophet. So Revelation 20 verse 10, and the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. That's a thousand years later. I know it's kind of you're skipping a lot because you're just like ten verses down from where we just read in Revelation chapter 19. That's a thousand years later. One thousand years later the beast and the false prophet are still in the lake of fire and the devil meets them there. I mean I don't know about you but I always think that's interesting that the beast and the false prophet precede the devil being cast into the lake of fire. Doesn't that kind of, I mean that that's got to show you how wicked those two men are. That literally they are going to beat the devil there. You know you would think the devil would be the first one to be cast into that lake of fire. But you know what? Obviously God's right to do what he did and they just got a straight ticket. They just went straight past Go and collected two hundred dollars as they went straight to the lake of fire. I mean think about it. Isn't that interesting that they don't actually stand before the great white throne judgment? They just straight up like skip that part. You're going straight to the lake of fire. I don't know. I just think that's interesting. It's almost like they're just treated just as what the devils are treated. And obviously you know the Antichrist is going to be extremely wicked but that kind of shows you that level of wickedness of the Antichrist and the false prophet. So there's the marriage stuff of the land. There's the battle at Armageddon and hopefully the audio works so the sermon will actually be able to be listened to later on. But I'm excited. Obviously we're going to be, we have three more chapters in Revelation and you know we'll be done with that and like I said hopefully Revelation hasn't been that complicated because people think it's like this daunting book but it really isn't that daunting. And the only reason that maybe get complex is because I'm making it that way because I have a lot of confidence that you can handle some deep stuff when it comes to that. But it really is a simple progression of events and let's end with a word of prayer. The Heavenly Father we thank you for today. Thank you for your word and thank you for the book of Revelation and thank you for the honor that you're going to be giving us to come with you on white horses to execute judgment upon the beast and his armies and Lord just to be with you that day and to be a part of that what a day that will be and just thank you for that privilege and just always something to look forward to among other things for all eternity and Lord just pray that you be with us as we go back to work this week and bring us back to the appointed time and Lord we love you. Pray also in Jesus Christ's name. Amen. Brother Dave will come and sing one more song and that will be dismissed. All right. Take your songbooks and turn to song number 13. Song number 13 in your songbooks. We'll sing must Jesus bear his cross alone if you would stand. We'll sing song number 13. Must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free no there's a cross for everyone and there's a cross for me but consecrated cross I'll bear till death shall set me free
