We will follow the steps of Jesus, where'er they go, If they lead through the temple, holy, preaching the word, Or in homes of the poor and lowly, serving the Lord. Footprints of Jesus that make the pathway glow, We will follow the steps of Jesus, where'er they go, Then at last when on high He sees us, our journey done, We will rest where the steps of Jesus end at His throne. Footprints of Jesus that make the pathway glow, We will follow the steps of Jesus, where'er they go. Amen. Wonderful singing. Let's start off our service with a word of prayer. Dear Lord God, Heavenly Father, I thank you for giving us this day, Lord, and this church, and the blessing to be able to come to your house and hear the preaching of your word and be edified by a wise and discerning pastor who teaches us from your word, Lord, and divides the word of truth rightly. And I thank you for our pastor, and I thank you for every precious soul in this church, and I thank you for the souls that were saved out there today. I ask that you please bless this service, Lord. Please be with us as we sing these hymns that they may be pleasing to your ears. And most of all, Lord, please fill Pastor Mahim with your spirit as he preaches your word. Give us also your spirit in the congregation that we may leave here edified. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Amen. You may be seated. Turn your song which is song number 281. Song number 281. Pass me not, O gentle Savior. Song number 281, nice and strong, all together on that first verse. Pass me not, O gentle Savior. Hear my humble cry. While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry. While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. Let me at a throne of mercy Find a sweet relief Kneeling there in deep contrition Help my unbelief. Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry. While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. Trusting only in the Spirit Trusting only in the Spirit Heal my wounded, broken spirit Save me by Thy grace Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry. While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. Thou the spring of all my comfort More than life to me Whom have I on earth beside Thee? Whom in heaven bought Thee? Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry. While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. All right, great singing. Thank you for being here this evening. Just a few announcements here before we sing our next song, which will be song number 100 day by day. If you want to get that ready in your songbook, song number 100. Our services are as follow. And we're going to have a point system and also rewards at the end of that. Of course, the conclusion to the fall program is the annual Thanksgiving banquet. And so we're looking forward to that. Please be in prayer for that, that we get a lot of new people into church, get a lot of people saved, baptized, and integrated to the congregation here. And you see there at the bottom, of course, the regular reminders. Please make sure you silence your phones during the preaching so as to not be a distraction during the service. Day by day and with each passing moment Strength I find to lead my trials here Trusting in my Father's wise bestowment I've no cause for worry or for fear He who's on his kind beyond all measure Gives unto each day what he deems best Lovingly it's part of pain and pleasure Mingling toil with peace and rest Every day the Lord himself is near me With a special mercy for each hour All my cares he fain would bear and cheer me He whose name is counselor and pound The protection of his job and treasure Is a charge that on himself he lay As thy days, thy strength shall be in measure This the pledge to me he made Help me then in every tribulation So to trust thy promises, O Lord That I lose not fate's sweet consolation Offered me within thy holy word Help me, Lord, with toil and trouble meeting There to take as from the Father's hand One by one the day's the moment's fleeting Till I reach the promised land Amen. Wonderful singing. At this time the ushers will come forth to collect the offering.
