Let's all find our seats and grab a song book. Let's all stand together for this first song. This will be song number 23. There is power in the blood. Let's all grab a song book. Open that song book up to song number 23. There is power in the blood. Let's all grab a song book. Open that song book up to song number 23. There is power in the blood. Let's all stand together for our first song. Song number 23. There is power in the blood. Everyone nice and strong. All together on that first verse. Would you be free from your burden of sin? There's power in the blood. Power in the blood. Would you, O evil, a victory win? There's wonderful power in the blood. There is power, power, wonder working power in the blood of the Lamb. There is power, power, wonder working power in the precious blood of the Lamb. Would you be free from your passion and pride? There's power in the blood. Power in the blood. Power in the blood. Come for a cleansing to Calvary's tide. There's wonderful power in the blood. There is power, power, wonder working power in the blood of the Lamb. There is power, power, wonder working power in the precious blood of the Lamb. Would you be wider, much wider than snow? There's power in the blood. Power in the blood. Sin stains are lost in its life-giving flow. There's wonderful power in the blood. There is power, power, wonder working power in the blood of the Lamb. There is power, power, wonder working power in the precious blood of the Lamb. Would you do service for Jesus your King? There's power in the blood. Power in the blood. Would you lift daily his praises to sing? There's wonderful power in the blood. There is power, power, wonder working power in the blood of the Lamb. There is power, power, wonder working power in the precious blood of the Lamb. Amen. Let's open our service with a word of prayer. Father, thank you, God, Lord, for allowing us, God, to be here tonight, Lord, and hear your word preached unto us, God. Lord, thank you, God, for the power in your blood, God, that cleanses us, Lord, from all unrighteousness, God, that you've given us the free gift of eternal salvation, Lord, through that blood, God. Pray, Lord, that you would bless the service, Lord, bless the singing, Lord, feel pastored with your Holy Spirit as He preaches to us, Lord. Pray also, God, that you would be with us, Lord, in the congregation, Lord, that we would apply that which we hear to our lives, Lord, and leave here edified, God. We love you, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. You may be seated. Song number 30, nothing but the blood. Song number 30, nothing but the blood. Everyone nice and strong all together on that first verse. What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. For my pardon, this I see. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. For my cleansing, this my plea. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Nothing can force in a tone. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Not of good that I have done. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. This is all my hope and peace. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. This is all my righteousness. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Alright, great singing. Just a few announcements here before we sing our next song. If you want to get that ready, it'll be 343. Revive us again if you want to get that ready in your songbooks. If you did not get a bulletin, go ahead and raise your hand and one of the ushers can get one for you. Brother Maury, I'm actually going to be praying over the prayer bulletin tonight. If you did not get a bulletin, raise your hand and one of the ushers can get one for you. Some important information on there, of course, our services are as follows. Sunday morning is at 1030. Sunday evening is at 5 pm. And then we have our Thursday night Bible study at 7 o'clock. We are currently going through the book of 1 Samuel. You see the so many times and teams. The list of expecting mothers. If you can keep Miss Olivia Lee in prayer. I believe she'll be going tonight to the hospital to deliver the baby. I don't know all the details. But please keep her in prayer. All would go well with that. She would have a safe delivery. And then you see the important reminders there at the bottom. Some of the upcoming church events. We have a Don and Miss DJ's wedding coming up this Saturday. And so it says RSVP by February 20th. So if you can get in the time machine and go back to the 20th and do that. If not, I don't know what to tell you. But we're looking forward to it. And along with that, there's going to be a wedding rehearsal tonight after service. And so if you could just clear this area. And everyone who's involved in the wedding party just meet here. And we're just going to go over the events on Saturday. And then the ladies prayer night is going to come up. It's coming up on Friday, March 4th. There will be dinner provided here at the building for all the ladies who make it. Birthday breakfast and Judea soul winning is on Sunday, March 6th. And then we also have Pastor Jonathan Shelley. He's going to be preaching for us. Amen. And that will be on Sunday, March 6th. And so he'll be here for Sunday morning, Sunday night. Looking forward to having him. It's going to be exciting. And so he hasn't preached for us since he was still at Faithful Word, I believe, in the old building. And so looking forward to having him come out here to the west side. The west coast to the best coast, right? I was going to say just kidding, but I'm not. All right. All right. San Diego Soul Winning Marathon is coming up on Saturday, March 12th at 830 a.m. We're teaming up with Faithful Word Baptist Church to do the marathon there. And the address, the location is right there on the bulletin. And so if you want to participate in that, you are free to. Hope to have everyone or as many people as possible participate in that so we can get as many souls saved as possible. You see the little reminders there. No food or drink allowed in the main auditorium except for water and coffee. And then no loitering in the foyer or fellowship hall during the preaching service unless you're a dad taking out your son, taking out your children out for just to kind of distract them. Obviously dads can't use the mother-baby room so they're free to use the foyer along with the fellowship hall. And then quiet time resumes on Sunday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the main auditorium in the mother-baby room. And make sure you silence your phones during the preaching so as to not be a distraction during the service. Let's go ahead and go over the prayer sheet here for tonight. We're going to pull that out. Some important things to go over here. Of course continue to pray for God's favor on our church. Continue to pray for the soul winning that we would continue to see many people saved in 2022. The world is getting crazy out there. And that's a good thing because then more people would be open to the gospel, amen. And so pray for the soul winning that we get a lot more people saved, a lot more people baptized. Pray for the protection of our church that God would see us through these years. And this year, of course, and just that we would continue to be successful and prosper as a church. Spiritual numerical growth, more laborers. Pray for the pastors in training. Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention I've already kind of mentioned it already, but just as a reminder, there's actually no pastoral institute tomorrow because we're getting ready for the wedding. And so those of you who are involved in that don't come tomorrow night, all right. But pray for them. Pray for the pastors in training. And then you see the church families there. Pray for different families, salvation families to grow, barren women expecting mothers, new mothers and newborns. Thank God that we're in a church where quite a bit of the ladies are expecting, amen. They can't be said of many churches. A lot of churches don't necessarily have that. And and so I see it as a sign of God's blessing upon our church. Please continue to pray for them to continue to bear children and be healthy, that all would go well with their deliveries. Pray for Glenn's wife's salvation, Tamara's family's salvation, and unspoken requests there. And then you see the different needs there on the right hand side. Our church of the month is Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tucson. Pray for brother Corbin Russell, who's the deacon there, that God will bless him with wisdom as he leads the church. Pray for their sowning there and protection and success. And then I want to mention two other pastors that are in need of our prayer. One of them, of course, is the one who's going to be visiting us soon, which is Pastor Jonathan Shelley. He's actually being evicted from his location, his church location. They did basically they just moved into within the last year or so, within the last couple of months. And so he's been fighting a very long, arduous battle with the sodomites. And I don't know all the details as far as what exactly took place, but basically they have to move. And, you know, obviously the way we see it, because we've kind of been through something like this, if you're not careful, we can count this as a loss. But it's not really a loss, because when we lose something in the will of God, it's only to get something greater, right? And so obviously God has something prepared for Pastor Shelley and the church there. He's a man of God. The Lord loves him. The Lord loves the church there. They're getting a lot of people saved. And so, you know, looking at it immediately is just like, oh, man, are we suffering a loss? But not really. You know, when that ordeal happened to us, we realized that God had something better for us. And surely he showed us the greater thing that he had for us. And so I believe that God's hand is on Pastor Shelley and the church there. But pray for them, because, you know, obviously it's stressful. It can get overwhelming and just having to, you know, find out where you're going to move and what's going to happen. It can be a very stressful next couple of months. And so please pray for him that God would strengthen him and that he'd give him wisdom. And then pray for Pastor Thompson. All my buddies right here, they're all getting persecuted, of course. We're in good company, man. Pastor Thompson is actually going to be protested this weekend at one of his church plants in Spokane. And so pray for him that that God would use them, that he would be able to get more people saved and just make them more fruitful than he already is. Obviously, here's the funny thing. Let me share something really funny with you, though, regarding this protest is they got a lot of propaganda on the Internet, you know, just kind of rallying people to protest this church. And so he sent me some screenshots of what they have on the Internet. And they're just like, you know, this is Pastor Thompson and and, you know, this is his church. We're going to protest them. But they have my face on there. And it's not like it's like one mistake. It's actually multiple pictures of me, you know what I mean? And they're some pretty good pictures, to be honest. And so, you know, they have my face on them. They're like, this is the guy, you know what I mean? We're going to protest him. And then they had like a little mini article where it said, like, Aaron Thompson had a church in California that got bombed supposedly by protesters. And he said somewhere in the article said something to the extent of like one of his church members did it or something like that, you know, but it's just like such bad journalism, you know what I mean? Like, do I really look like an Aaron Thompson? I mean, just be honest. Come on. But I told Pastor Thompson, I was like, you better give me some dibs on those rewards, though, like, because you're using my face, my friend. OK, and so I better get at least 10 to 25 percent of those rewards that you're going to get for that protest. But pray for him. Obviously, God's hand is on him as well. And all this persecution is just proof of that. Right. You know, from a carnal perspective, people can look at this and say, oh, they must be doing something wrong. From the world's perspective, it's like they're doing something wrong because of, you know, what they're suffering. But when we look at things in light of the Bible, when we look at persecution and reviling in light of the Bible, we see that it's actually a byproduct of godliness. OK. Yea, all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. And so this is a clear indicator that both Pastor Shelley and Pastor Thompson are godly men. They're men who love the Lord. They're men who love the Bible. And so automatically there's going to be some sort of opposition against them. And they're going to come out on top. Why? Because God's people always come out on top and let them think that they got the building and they got him evicted. Folks, we're not tied down to a building. You know, whoever, you know, they're putting all this effort into getting Pastor Shelley out of the building. But here's the thing. He's not tied down to that building because none of us are. The pastors of the new IFB do not emphasize buildings at all. We only emphasize it as far as like, you know, because we have to like meet in a place. You know, we don't want to meet outside. But really, we can meet anywhere. You know, the church is not the building. The church is the people. OK. And so only good can come out of this. And of course, we want to pray against the enemies of God who are obviously, you know, promoting this and fighting against him. But pray for them. And I know they're going to come out on top. They're godly men. They love the Lord. But we want to keep them in prayer. OK. If you have an additional prayer request that you'd like to be mentioned on the prayer bulletin, you can put that at the bottom of the sheet here. Tear that off and put it into the offering plate. We'll make sure that it gets in there for the following week. All right. That's pretty much it. Let's go and pray over these needs. Father, we thank you so much for our salvation. We're so thankful for the privilege we have to come to church, Lord, to hear the word of God preached, to sing the hymns, to fellowship and to honor and glorify you. We want to lift up these petitions up in prayer, Lord, and in faith, knowing full well that you will meet these needs because they are according to your will. We do pray for the sowing in our church, Lord, that you continue to use us as a church, as individuals to be a light in darkness, Lord, in this crooked and perverse nation that we would hold forth the word of life and go out and preach the gospel and get as many people saved as possible, Lord. And I pray that you would remove any hindrance, anything that would try to stop us from getting people saved, Lord. And I just pray you continue to prosper us, that we get more people into the kingdom of God. And of course, we do pray for the protection of our church, Lord, continue to protect the individuals in our church and the families, Lord, and the leaders of our church as well. I pray that you'd strengthen us and prepare us for the battles ahead and protect us not only physically but also spiritually as well. We do pray for more laborers as the church continues to grow numerically and spiritually, that there would be men in the church who are willing to stand in the gap and make up the hedge and be the leader that they need to be, not only for their families but also for our church as a whole and then for our state and for our country, Lord. We need more godly men who love the Lord and love the people Godly men who love the Lord and love the Bible and are willing to step up and influence others for righteousness. We do pray for the pastors in training that your hand would be upon them, Lord, and that you'd bless them and prepare them and remove the hindrances from their lives. I pray that you'd remove any deficiencies or fill in the deficiencies that they may have, Lord, and things that whatever, maybe it's character flaws or just things that they need to work on, Lord, may you continue to mold them into what you would want them to be. And bless them, Lord. We pray for the families in our church. So thankful for all the families, Lord, and the growth that we've seen and all the children and, Lord, all the women that are expecting and the wombs that are filled with the fruit of the Lord. So thankful for how you blessed our church. May you continue to do so, Lord. We pray for all the ladies who are expecting in our church that you would give them a healthy and safe pregnancy and a healthy delivery, that all would go well, Lord, and that your hand would be upon them and help them to recover. We do pray for Glenn's wife's salvation, that you'd touch her heart, Lord, and I pray that you'd bless her, Lord, with understanding that she would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. And I pray for Tamara's family's salvation as well and her unspoken prayer request that you'd meet those needs as only you know how, Lord. And do pray, Lord, of course for the Church of the Month, Faith Ward Baptist Church in Tucson and Brother Corbin, that you'd give them wisdom and give them prudence and understanding and help them to influence his people to draw closer to you, to love the word of God, and to increase in their passion and zeal for souls and for the work of the Lord. But we also pray for Pastor Shelley and Pastor Thompson as they're under attack at this time, Lord, that you'd give them special grace and give them favor, Lord, and may they shine forth as lights, Lord, and I pray, Father God, that you'd do a great and mighty work in their church. And I pray for the people in their church that they would not disband or forsake their pastor. May they stand with them during this time. And now is not the time to tuck our tails and run. Now is the time to stand behind the man of God and to stand for the word of truth. And we've only one life to live, and so may we stand for the truth while we have we're still alive. And so I pray that you bless them, Lord. Bless Pastor Shelley and Pastor Thompson. Protect them. And we know the promises of God that say that all things work together for good to them that love God. We know that to lose something in the will of God is to get something better. And I pray that you increase their faith through this. Lord, may you use them greatly to get more people saved, more people turned to the word of God, and that you would magnify Pastor Shelley, magnify Pastor Thompson through this, and magnify their churches, and more importantly, magnify yourself through their tribulation. And Lord, may you bless the service tonight. May you give us ears to hear that what you would have for us this evening. We love you and we thank you. Pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen. Let's go ahead and take our songbooks 343. Revive us again. Song number 343. Song 343. Revive us again. Song number 343. Revive us again. Everyone nice and strong all together.
