So going back to Thursday, anything from Thursday? All right, anything else from Thursday? What about Friday? Okay. Anything else from Friday? Saturday? Eight in the Safford group. All right. Anything outside of the Safford trip for Saturday? And then what? Two. Two. All right. Anything else for Saturday? How about today, Sunday? Brother Scott? No. Two for today, six for Brother Tilsons. Okay, anything else from today? Another one over here. Is that a one? All right. Anything else from today? All right, very good. Keep up the great work on soul-winning. Whoa, all right. There we go. One more. Anybody else out there? Oh, there you are, young fella. I see you back there. Getting old. No, I'm just kidding. All right. All right, very good. Let's go ahead and sing our next song. Come lead us. All right, in your hymnals in the front there, you should find the insert of the song we'll sing, Psalm 96. If you don't have one, please raise your hand. Psalm 96, so sing unto the Lord a new song, Psalm 96. Go forth a salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among the people. For the Lord is great and great the tomb he brings, he is to be feared above all gods. Give unto the Lord, all ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Oh, sing unto the Lord a new song, sing unto me. Sing unto the Lord, bless his name, show forth his salvation from day to day. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord reigns the heavens. Honor and majesty are before him, strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Give unto the Lord, all ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name, bring an offering and come into his courts. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, fear before him all the earth. Say aloud, believe that the Lord reigneth, the world also shall be established. Let it shall not be moved, he shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice and let the earth be glad, let the sea war and the fullness thereof. Let the field be joyful and all that's therein shall all the trees be for the Lord rejoice. Be for the Lord, for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth. And the people with his truth, oh, sing unto the Lord a new song. Sing unto the Lord all the earth, sing unto the Lord, bless his name, show forth his salvation from day to day. Amen, good singing, your hymnals please, turn to hymn number 204. Songs in the Mountains, song number 204. If you know the parts of this one, sing it out, number 204. We'll sing it on that first verse, there are songs in the mountains, there are songs in the veil 204. There are songs in the mountains, there are songs in the veil, hearts may sing in the daytime and when nightshades prevail. Oh, then sing when the bird sings or when storm clouds are low, for the saints can rejoice while God his blessing restores. So I sing, sing, sing, and I sing when it's cloudy, I sing when it's high, for I'm happy in Jesus. There's a song in my soul, there will come days of sadness, there may come times of need, but the Savior is with me, he's the shepherd in me. For he bears all my burdens and he covers my heart, he is here when I need him, he will never be part. So I sing all the day and I sing all the night, and I sing when it's cloudy, I sing when it's high, for I'm happy in Jesus. There's a song in my soul, the white stones of the world, it's in the glass through the night, and the joy of the sinners, all he changes to cry. But the heart feeds on the end and the soul of God's own, it's the gift of our Savior, his presence made known. So I sing all the day and I sing all the night, and I sing when it's cloudy, I sing when it's high, for I'm happy in Jesus. There's a song in my soul, I'm a spirit to comfort and to teach and to guide, I'm a father to hear, be that whatever in time. And my high grace forever takes my guard at the throne, so I sing on my journey for I'm never alone. So I sing all the day and I sing all the night, and I sing when it's cloudy, I sing when it's high, for I'm happy in Jesus, there's a song in my soul. Amen, great singing tonight. Alright, this time we'll pass the offering plates around. As the plates go around, let's turn our Bibles tonight to Revelation chapter 6. Revelation chapter number 6. As we always do, we'll read the entire chapter beginning in verse number 1. We'll follow along silently with Brother Dan as he reads Revelation chapter 6, starting in verse number 1. Revelation chapter 6, the Bible reads, And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold, a white horse. And he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red. And power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. And it was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo, a black horse. And he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny, and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And his name that sat on him was Death, and hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw unto the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them. And it was said unto them that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also, and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as saithcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood. And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand? Lord, thank you for this opportunity to be here tonight, and I pray that you would fill our pastor with your Holy Spirit, and please help us all to learn something and be edified tonight. It's in Christ's name I pray, Amen. Tonight I'm preaching on the subject of the post-tribulation pre-wrath rapture. The fact that the rapture comes after the tribulation, but before God's wrath, is poured out on this earth in an unprecedented way. Now, the popular doctrine today amongst most evangelical Christians, independent fundamental Baptists, the Hollywood approved doctrine, is the pre-tribulation rapture. Now, what does the pre-tribulation rapture teach? It basically teaches that Jesus Christ could return at any moment, before this service is even over. You know, people could just disappear, just boom, just like we're just living our lives, everything's great, no tribulation, no wrath of God, we're just going through life, and then just boom, we get warped out of here before any of the end times events take place regarding the things that are going to go on in this earth that are described in the Bible as the tribulation and the wrath of God. It's a false doctrine, and it's not taught in Scripture, and, you know, when I was coming up as an independent fundamental Baptist, you had to believe in the pre-trib rapture or you're in big trouble. Okay, if a preacher ever came out and spoke against the pre-trib rapture, he'd be blackballed. He could never get a speaking engagement anywhere, all of his friends would turn on him, and pastors would push this hard from the pulpit, and they would really try to pressure you and intimidate you, and I've even heard many times them say, hey, if you don't believe in the pre-trib rapture, you're not even saved, and stuff like that. Many times, not one time, not one preacher, I've heard that many times. Now, it's funny that now they're kind of on the run now, because, you know, we came out with our film back in 2012 after the tribulation. It's been seen by millions of people. A lot of people are waking up to this, and a lot of people are coming around. Now they're kind of on the run. Now they're kind of like, hey, it's okay if you're not pre-trib, because of the fact that, you know, we've shown from the Bible that the pre-trib rapture is a total fraud. Okay? But here's the thing that I want you to be careful to understand. Before I ever came along, before our film came out, or we turned around a lot of people on this issue, let me tell you this, okay? There were always people in virtually every single independent fundamental Baptist church who did not believe in the pre-trib rapture, because it's so obvious in Scripture. It's so clear, obviously, there were people in every church seeing the problems with the pre-trib rapture, and just seeing the fact that it wasn't taught in Scripture. And so this is not a new thing. It's just that, you know, the guys in the pulpits were pushing it hard, because they were getting it crammed down their throats in Bible college hard, and their friends were peer pressuring them hard. And so one of the reasons why they had to get up with so much bluster about the pre-trib rapture back in those days was because of the fact that there were always people in the church questioning it because of the fact that it was so bogus. You know, I remember one time I had a deacon kind of corner me on this issue, and I was in a church that was just hardcore pre-trib. Every church I went to before I started this church believed in the pre-tribulation rapture, okay? And I remember, you know, I was not a troublemaker, I didn't say anything about it, but this deacon kind of just cornered me, and he's kind of pinning me down, like, what do you believe about this? And so I had to just tell him, I said, you know, I'm not pre-trib, you know, I don't believe in the pre-trib rapture. And then basically he told me that he didn't either. This guy's a deacon in the church. And then he starts showing me stuff in the Bible, you know, giving me even more ammo about how it's not pre-trib. So there's nothing new under the sun. People have realized this doctrine's bogus, but it's so foreign to scripture that pre-tribbers have to teach a lot of really strange things to get the Bible to say what they want it to say. One of the things that they'll often teach is, well, Jesus didn't teach on the rapture. And then another thing that they'll teach is, well, the rapture's not found in the book of Revelation. Here's why they say that. Because when Jesus taught it, and when Revelation teaches it, it's clearly after the tribulation. It's clearly not pre-tribulation. So they're just like, oh, Jesus didn't talk about it. What about Revelation? Oh, Revelation didn't talk about it. It's only the apostle Paul. Folks, that's so ridiculous to think that something as important as the rapture, the second coming of Christ, end times, that Jesus wouldn't even talk about the rapture. And then to turn around and say that the book that's all about end times, Revelation, it's the whole point of Revelation, doesn't touch on the rapture. That's crazy, okay. But that's the kind of stuff that they teach. So what we're going to do tonight, we're going to look at a couple key passages and see this in scripture. We're going to look at Matthew 24, and we're going to look at Revelation 6. So we're going to get Jesus' teaching on the end times, and we're going to get the book of Revelation's teaching on end times. And we're going to get a clear picture of the sequence of events. What order are things going to happen? Now, go if you would, you're in Revelation 6, go if you would to Revelation chapter 5, because what we want to talk about in Revelation 6 are the seals, you know, the seven seals. Because when you go through the book of Revelation, you have these different sequences where you have the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven vials. You know, what do they mean? When we think of a trumpet, we think of a battle, we think of warfare, right, the trumpet sounds and some kind of an attack is happening, okay. When we think of the vials, God tells us they're the vials of God's wrath being poured out on the earth, right. So those two are pretty easy to understand, the trumpets and the vials. But what do the seals mean? What do they represent? Well, if we go back to Revelation chapter 5, we're introduced to this seven sealed book. It says in verse number 1, And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven or in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. Now what does this mean when it says that the book is sealed with seven seals? Keep your finger here and go back to Ezekiel chapter number 2 in the Old Testament. Ezekiel chapter number 2. Now, in the olden days, let's say you wanted to send a letter or some kind of correspondence and you didn't want it to be tampered with. Or you wanted it to be for a certain person's eyes only. Then you would seal it up so that everybody can't just read it, so that the mailman's not looking at it. You know, think about when you write a postcard, the mailman just kind of looks at it. It's just all exposed unto him. You gotta be careful what you write on those postcards, right? Whereas a letter that's in an envelope is sealed up. You know, if you got an envelope and it was torn open, you'd be wondering, you know, what's the mailman doing here? Is he reading my mail? Is somebody else reading my mail? You'd be concerned about that, right? Well, in olden times, these things would be sealed. If you read, for example, the book of Esther, I believe three different times it talks about something being sealed with the king's ring. And it's like a seal of authenticity, and then it could also be a seal to make sure it doesn't get looked at. So you would take a scroll, right? So if you rolled up a piece of paper, you can imagine a scroll. And the word scroll, take off the S and the C, it's a roll. A roll and a scroll are the same thing. So you roll a piece of paper, you got a scroll. And then what you would do is you would drip hot wax on the outside of that. And then you'd have a ring that has a special symbol or something that's unique. And then you'd press it into that wax. And then it's like, okay, that's the king's insignia. I know this is an official document. Just like when you get a birth certificate, it has a little imprint or something to tell you that it's authentic. But if you put it on the scroll, you can't read the scroll. Because if you roll something up and then put that wax on the outside, now you can't see what's inside until you break the seal. When you break the seal, you can see what's inside. But once you've broken the seal, you can't fix it. Because if you remelted that wax, you'll ruin the insignia. Does everybody understand? So the seal provides authenticity, and it proves that it hasn't been read. Because if someone opened the seal and then tried to reconnect it, they would ruin that insignia. Okay, so here we have a book that is sealed with seven seals. So no one can see what's inside. No one can read the words of the book. Let's compare Scripture with Scripture here. Look at Ezekiel chapter 2 verse 9. Ezekiel chapter 2 verse 9. And when I looked, behold, a hand was sent unto me, and lo, a roll of a book was therein. Notice the wording here. Roll of a book. So when you hear about a book in Revelation, you might picture something like this. This is a later invention. You know, this style of book with a sewn binding and this kind of a case with pages, that's a later book. In Bible times, the books that they had were a roll of a book. So you can see here that a scroll is being called a book, right? So that's the technology that they had, long pieces of paper. They would roll them up, and that was the book or the scroll. So it says a roll of a book was therein, and he spread it out before me, right? So you can picture unrolling a scroll. And it was written within and without. Now, stop and think about a scroll being written within and without. If you're rolling it up, there's sort of an outside and an inside from the perspective of rolling it. So when it says it's written within and without, on the inside and on the outside, it's basically saying it's written on both sides. So it's a big, long piece of paper. You write on both sides, and then you roll it up. There's your book. There's your scroll. Because back then, they didn't waste paper because the paper's difficult to make. It's expensive. It's harder than just it would be today where it's churned out of a machine in high quantity. So it's written within and without. And there was written therein, lamentations and mourning and woe. And this has to do with the judgment of God that's coming. All of the sad and horrific things that are going to be happening are written in this book in Ezekiel chapter 2. That's the same type of situation that we have in Revelation. Okay, so go back if you would to Revelation. And it says in verse 1 of chapter 5, And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. So instead of saying within and on the outside, this time it says within and on the backside. It's the exact same thing, right? Who can open this book? Who can loose the seals thereof? It says in verse 4, I wept much because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. Now, notice that reading the book and opening the book are equivalent. In order to read it, you've got to open it, right? When you open it, you can read it. These two things are connected. So I prepared a little visual aid here of this. I didn't have any wax or a signet ring. I wasn't very sophisticated, so I used spry gum, okay? So I chewed gum, and I sealed my book here with seven seals, okay? So here we go. We've got the seven seals on the book. Now, in order for me to read this book, I'm going to have to open all seven seals. I can't just open one seal. And I've heard so many pre-trib preachers get up and say, you know, the one seal's open, then you can read a little bit, and then the next seal, you read a little bit, next seal, you read a little bit. But hold on, look at this. I could take off six of these seals, and you're still not going to be able to read the book, are you? You're not going to be able to read the book until all seven seals are gone, because one seal is enough to hold this thing shut. So if a book were sealed with seven seals, that's just a really intense level of security, you know, just really seal this thing up, making sure that it's tamper-proof. That's what's going on here. Nobody is able to open this book. They can't open the seals. They're up. I've heard preachers try to explain this, you know, how you could just open one seal at a time and read the book. And I'm trying to undo my seals here. But look, you know, when you've got something sealed up like this, you can see that as I open this, there's a little bit of damage happening to the paper, isn't there? You know, as I try to do this. Now, you know, ideally I'd have like a knife or something, and I could do this with a little bit less damage. But here's the thing. If you put hot wax on paper and you open that up, you know, there's going to be a little bit of the paper that's covered in wax, and there's going to be a little bit of damage and so forth as you open it. Okay? So, but as I get this open and I get rid of my gum seals here, okay? Well, then look. Now, you know, you can freely open it. And here's the thing. The rest of the paper is all intact. No problem. Like, everything's fine. There's no issue. The only part that has an issue here is just at the top where the seals were. So I've only damaged this tiny part right here. Everything else is good to go. Now, the way I've heard these pre-trip guys explain it was like, okay, it's rolled up and then you put a seal. You know, so I got to do this here as we go here. All right, chew the gum, make my seal here. But basically what they're saying is like, you know, you read a little bit, you roll it up a little bit, and then there's a seal. You know, roll it up a little more, put another seal. And then you keep opening. No. Because there's been no scroll like that in the history of mankind because that makes absolutely no sense to do it like that. That's just a made-up idea just to try to make the Bible fit what they want it to say. No, that's not how it works, right? If a book, if he's looking at a book and it's sealed with seven seals, there's not like all these internal seals. Because you'd be damaging the scroll the whole time you open it. You'd have all this mess inside. And you'd be trying to open it and cut seals. It's nonsense. Books have never been sealed that way. This is how it works, right? So the point is that you have to open all seven seals before you can read the book. Okay. So it says in verse number five of chapter five, And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and loose the seven seals thereof. So then in chapter six the Lamb starts opening these seals. So each time he opens a seal, something happens, right? So he opens a seal, something happens. He opens a seal, something happens. Then when he finally opens the seventh seal in chapter eight, now all of a sudden God's wrath begins. Now we have the seven trumpets and seven vials of God's wrath. And that's where you have all the lamentations, mornings, and woes of God's extreme unparalleled wrath. Now you say, well, you know, bad things are happening during the tribulation. Bad things are happening during the seals. Bad things are happening right now. Bad things are happening in 2021. It doesn't mean we're in the tribulation. It doesn't mean we're experiencing the unparalleled wrath of God being poured out. You know, obviously God's angry with the wicked every day. But there's a future period of extreme punishments and judgments from God. And these things are supernatural cataclysms that are going to be taking place with the seven trumpets and the seven vials, water turning into blood, fire and brimstone raining from heaven, all of these horrible judgments upon nature and upon the earth. It's going to be destroyed in so many ways. Okay. But let's look at this just point by point. So what is the book? The book contains lamentation, mourning. Well, it's, it's God's wrath. You know, once the seventh seal is open, that's when God's wrath begins to be poured out. And the six seals leading up to that, they are not God's wrath. This is the point that I'm trying to make. Okay. The events of the six seals are not God's wrath. They are the tribulation, but they are not God's wrath. Now what does tribulation mean? Tribulation means trouble. Okay. Look at the letters in the word tribulation. T-R-B-L are the consonants. Well, that's where we get our word trouble. Same place. T-R-B-L. Trouble. T-R-B-L. Tribulation. You see that? So the tribulation is going to be a time of trouble, a time of affliction, and a time of persecution, but the tribulation is not the wrath of God. Okay. The tribulation comes before the wrath of God. And if you actually pay attention tonight, I will prove that to you beyond any shadow of a doubt. You won't be wondering about it. Okay. Now, let's get through this. Look down, if you would, at Revelation chapter six, verse one. And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw him behold a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer. This is not the unparalleled wrath of God here. This is just a guy on a white horse, a crown is given unto him, he goes forth to conquer. Okay. Let's look at the second seal. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red, and power was given to him that sat there on to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another, and there was given unto him a great sword. Now this seems to be a logical consequence of the first seal being opened, because the first seal, you have this guy going out to conquer. Well, you know what? When somebody goes out to conquer, what's the result? Warfare. I mean, if somebody's going out to conquer, somebody says, No, I don't want you to conquer. And then there's a war. So one guy's going out to conquer, then the whole world is at war, because it says he's taking peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. This seems to be a global conflict. You know, we've had a couple of conflicts that we have labeled what? World War I, World War II. So this is, if you will, World War III. It could be World War IV, but, you know, hopefully it's just World War III. You know, hopefully we don't have too many of these things, right? So this is World War III. Look at the third seal. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld on low a black horse. And he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny and three measures of barley for a penny, and see thou hurt not the oil and wine. Now, a penny in the Bible is an amount of money that someone would earn for a day's labor. An unskilled laborer goes out in the field and works all day, and they are paid with a penny. And so that gives you an idea of about how much money this is, right? About how much an unskilled worker would make as a day laborer. Now, can you imagine spending an entire day's wages on a measure of wheat? How much does an unskilled laborer make in one day? A hundred bucks? A hundred and fifty bucks? Right? Okay. Well, if he goes out and makes a hundred bucks, can you imagine just buying like a measure of flour or a measure of wheat for a hundred bucks? That's an incredible food price, isn't it? Now, why would food prices be that expensive? It's when food is in short supply. Supply and demand. If food is in short supply, a measure of wheat is a penny, three measures of barley is a penny. These are extreme food prices, okay? So, it's signifying famine. Again, that's a logical result of World War famine results because supply lines are interrupted, right? Food supply lines are damaged, crops are damaged, resources are redirected other places, and people starve. I mean, look at all the pictures from World War II of people starving. Tons of people starving. And you know what? It's not just people in concentration camps that are starving. You'll see people just living in these war-torn areas in France and Germany and elsewhere and Soviet Union especially that are just starving. I mean, they just can't get food. The supplies just aren't there. And so, everything's logical here, isn't it? And then the fourth seal is open and look at verse 8. And I looked and behold a pale horse and his name that sat on him was Death and hell followed with him and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth to kill with sword and with hunger and with death and with the beasts of the earth. And again, this is no surprise. If the world's at war, if there's famine, it makes sense that people are dying of the sword because of the fighting, because of the violence, and not only just warfare but obviously, you know, in a time of warfare, there's all kinds of looting and raping and pillaging that's going on. Sword, hunger, we just talked about that with the famine, death, and with the beasts of the earth. Now, what does that mean with the beasts of the earth? You know, this could be a reference to just wild animals hurting people although it's kind of hard to believe that that many wild animals would hurt that many people for this to be significant. I think it's more likely prophetic because God knows everything and God knows the end from the beginning. You know, this could be some kind of a pestilence that's being transmitted by beasts of the earth. You know, you think about disease is probably what we're talking about here because that's how a beast of the earth can kill you because, you know, let's say, yeah, you could get torn apart by a lion or a bear or something, but how often does that really happen? But, you know, what's more likely is getting bit by something that's carrying a disease, right? Let's say a dog has rabies and it bites you. Well, you know, that can kill you quite easily in fact. You could get bit by mosquitoes that could kill you. You could get bit by any other venomous beast or just beasts that are carrying diseases. And so this could be a pestilence, you know, and I don't know if the Bible would really classify germs as beasts because obviously they aren't really tiny animals if you think about it, but I believe that that's on the right track for understanding that is that somehow these animals are going to be killing people. I doubt it's just going to be wild animals tearing people apart, although it's possible. I think we're talking about wide-scale death here because if we're talking about, you know, a fourth part of the earth, talking about, you know, one-fourth of the globe being affected by this punishment that involves sword, hunger, death, and the beasts of the earth, I think it's more realistic that the beasts of the earth are leading to disease through some kind of a poisoning or virus, bacteria, fungus, whatever. So we understand that. So these are also known as the four horsemen of the apocalypse, right? The four seals are associated with these four horsemen that have the conqueror and then we have warfare and then we have famine and then we just have death in general, dying by a whole bunch of different means, okay. Now who is that guy that goes out to conquer on the white horse? I think it's pretty obvious that this guy's the antichrist because he rides on a white horse like Jesus, but he's not Jesus because Jesus is not going out to conquer and sending the whole world into a spiral of warfare and famine and pestilence. You know, if it was Jesus, it would just tell us it's Jesus because in Revelation 19, Jesus comes on a white horse and it tells us that he's the word of God, he's the son of God, he's God Almighty, you know, it's Jesus, there's no question about it. Whereas this guy is a mysterious figure on a white horse, a crown is given unto him, he goes forth conquering and to conquer, it's clearly the antichrist because he's an imposter. Now, think about it, if you want to show up as an imposter, do you show up before the real guy or after the real guy? It's common sense, right? I mean, stop and think about Jacob and Esau. Who shows up first? Jacob shows up pretending to be Esau. If he would have showed up an hour after Esau had already been there, how would his plan have worked out? Not at all. It's ridiculous, right? So the imposter shows up first. Antichrist, a lot of people don't understand this word antichrist. Some people misunderstand the word and they think it means against Christ, like anti-abortion or whatever. That's not what anti, the prefix anti also can mean in the place of, replacing instead of. Antichrist is the one who takes the place of Christ. He's the fake Christ, the false Christ, the impersonator. That's why the Bible says, who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ, he is antichrist that denieth the Father and the Son. Because if you're saying that there's a messiah, if you're saying that there's a Christ that's not Jesus, you're basically looking for someone else that's in the place of Christ, because you're not accepting Jesus as the Christ, so you're looking for this other guy to replace Jesus and that's what the Bible calls the spirit of antichrist. Looking for that other messiah, looking for that other Christ. You know, hmm, I wonder, what group of people in this world believes there's a messiah that's coming but that Jesus wasn't that messiah? Hmm, trying to think of anybody, is it Buddhism? No, Buddhism isn't like that. The Jews, right? They believe that they're, because in order to, in order to say that Jesus is not the Christ, you have to believe that there's a Christ and that it's not Jesus. Atheists aren't saying that Jesus isn't the Christ. Atheists would just tell you there is no Christ. The Jews believe there's a Christ that's not Jesus, that's the spirit of antichrist. They deny the Father and the Son, right? They don't believe in the Trinity, they don't believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Okay, so that all makes perfect sense. Now when we get into the fifth seal, something different happens. So the first four seals, we have the antichrist going out to conquer, world war, famine, pestilence, etc. Nothing really supernatural there, is there? I mean, a guy going out to conquer isn't necessarily supernatural. By the way, here's one more proof that it's the antichrist. It says a crown was given unto him. When we get to the descriptions of the antichrist later in Revelation, it says that the dragon gives him his power, gives him his authority. So his authority is being granted to him by Satan. So when it says a crown is given unto him, it's being given unto him by Satan, if we compare scripture with scripture. But you know, a guy going out to conquer isn't necessarily supernatural. Warfare, that's not supernatural. We've already done it twice, World War I, World War II. Famines aren't supernatural. You know, just ask the Soviet Union and Communist China, okay? Diseases aren't necessarily supernatural, they're, you know, viruses, bacteria, etc. Okay, so, so far nothing's really supernatural here. It's just bad stuff that's happening. Now let me ask you this. Aren't these all things that have kind of already happened throughout history? Like have we had conquerors going out and trying to take over the entire world? Yeah, oh yeah, all day long. Have we had famines, pestilences, earthquakes? We've had all those things. Okay, now let's look at the fifth seal. And it says when he'd opened the fifth seal, verse 9, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them, and it was said unto them that they should rest yet for a little season until their fellow servants also and their brethren that should be killed as they were should be fulfilled, not be held when ye do open the sixth seal. So what's the fifth seal all about? It's just people getting killed for the cause of Christ. It's the martyrs of Christ. It's people dying for Jesus. So we have, is that supernatural? Okay, let me ask you this. Is that the wrath of God? Now this is what's so ridiculous and absurd about saying that the seals are God's wrath. The seals are God's wrath on this earth. Okay, so Christians being killed is God's wrath. That makes absolutely no sense. That's insane, right? Who's mad at Christians? God? Man, these Christians are holding fast my name. They haven't denied my faith. I'm sick of it. Kill them. That sounds like something the devil would say. You know, the devil has great wrath, the Bible says, and that he goes forth with great wrath and that he wants to destroy God's people. But this is not the wrath of God. If anything, that's the wrath of Satan. That's the wrath of wicked people. So nothing that we've seen here in the first five seals indicates God pouring out his wrath. God bringing supernatural judgment or plagues, like he did in Egypt, or God being angry and so he's lashing out and killing his own people. That doesn't make any sense, folks. This is not the wrath of God. I think that's very clear to an honest person who just reads these five seals. Now when we get to the sixth seal, look what happens. I beheld when he'd opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of air, and the moon became his blood, and the stars of heaven fell onto the earth, even as a fig tree cast with her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind, and the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places, and the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bond man, and every free man hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, fall on us and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, for the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand. Now notice the words in verse 17, the great day of his wrath is come. Now what does that mean, the great day of his wrath is come? It means it just showed up right now. It didn't say it had come, you know, it had already come back with the first seal. It had come with the second seal, no it had not come with the third seal. It had not come with the fourth or fifth seals. When we get to the sixth seal, the Bible says the great day of his wrath is come. Now I believe that when the Bible says day there, it's just talking about a day. Just like we know a day, and what I mean by that is a calendar day. You know, like today is a certain day, it's a Sunday, it's what is it May 16th or something like that? So that's what day we're talking about. So when the sixth seal is opened, the great day of God's wrath is come. Not had come or has come, but is come. Joy to the world, the Lord is come. You know, it means we're celebrating his arrival now. That's is present, right? Is come because he got here. Does everybody understand? I mean it's not that complicated, right? So if the great day of his wrath is come, that means it wasn't here yesterday, it wasn't here last week, it wasn't here a year ago, it wasn't here two years ago, it just showed up. Now this makes perfect sense because of the fact that when the sixth seal is opened, and they say this, the seventh seal is opened right afterward. There's not a big delay between the sixth and the seventh seal. The sixth and the seventh seal are opened in rapid succession and so it makes sense like the great day of his wrath is come because once that seventh seal is opened, you know, then here we are, right? And it's like, okay, now here's all of the stuff that God's gonna do, all the wrath that's gonna be poured out on mankind, represented by that scroll filled with lamentations and mourning and woe and it's the wrath of God. In fact, even as God's wrath is being poured out, God describes three of those judgments specifically as the three woes and he says like, you know, one woe is past and behold there come two more woes hereafter. The second woe is past, right? So in addition to having, you know, seven seals, seven trumpets and seven vials, you've got the three woes and what does woe mean? Woe just means like you're doomed. It just means like woe unto you means like, wow, I'm glad I'm not you is what that means. So woes are sorrows, wailing, just horrible things that happen to you and that's what that book represents because God can do a lot worse than Satan as far as like harming people. I mean, God's a lot more powerful than Satan and so, you know, the events of the first five seals, you know, which are basically manmade or the devil is driving those things, you know, are nothing compared to what God's going to do and the trumpets and vials. When you read the book of Revelation, the trumpets and vials are way more severe. Now stop and think about this. Who gives that crown to that imposter, that phony in the first seal? Is that God that gives the antichrist that crown? No, the Bible says the dragon gave him his authority. Okay, you say, oh, I don't know about that. Okay, well, what about the fifth seal? Who's the one killing Christians, is that God or the devil? So if the devil's killing Christians in the fifth seal, doesn't it make sense that the devil's giving authority to the antichrist in the first seal and doesn't it make sense that the devil's behind a bunch of warfare and famines and nightmares on this earth that are going on by means of natural things? Okay, so now we understand that the great David's wrath is come with the sixth seal being opened, but what are the events of the sixth seal? The big events are the sun and moon being darkened, right? It said in verse number 12, the sun became black as sackcloth of air and the moon became as blood. So the sun and moon are darkened and the stars fall from the sky. That is the main thing about the sixth seal. Sun and moon darkened, stars fall. Now go back to Matthew 24, let's see what Jesus taught. So we've seen some teaching from Revelation chapter 6, let's compare scripture with scripture and let's go to Matthew 24 and see if it jives with what Matthew 24 is teaching. And sorry flat earthers, but when the Bible, we don't have any in our church, thank God, I sure hope not. But anyway, you know, they think like, oh yeah, how can the stars be giant fiery balls of gas, you know, and fall to the earth or whatever. They think like the actual stars that we think of like that are actually, you know, light years away from us, that those are going to fall in the earth. Well, that's obviously stupid and ridiculous because if one of those were to hit the earth, the entire planet would just be consumed. That's nonsense. Okay. But they're like, when it says stars fall, it's false. No, you just don't understand the Bible, okay? Because actually, if you study any ancient literature, you'll know that every heavenly body, anything that's up in the sky that's a heavenly body is called a star, okay? That's why planets were originally called wandering stars, wandering stars, and they got shortened to just wanderer. That's what the word planet means. It's Greek for wanderer, okay? And so, you know, in ancient literature, the sun is called a star, the moon is called a star, the planets are called stars. It's just the way literature works back then. And so we have what are called falling stars, right? And shooting stars. So if we looked outside and said, oh, I saw a shooting star, we know that's not a giant ball of gas similar to the sun light years away that fell. We know that that is a meteorite. And so meteorites are what we call shooting stars, even in our modern vernacular we call them stars. And by the way, the proof of this, because they're like, well no, if it says stars fall, you know, take your over-literal reading and go hang it, because the Bible also talks about bringing a turtle for a burnt sacrifice. A turtle's a turtle! No, it's actually a turtledove. If you'd studied to show yourself approved unto God, you'd know that it's not talking about a reptile, okay? It's talking about a turtledove and it's just calling it a turtle because it's old language. That's it. Okay. And by the way, you can prove the flat earth bozos wrong on this anyway, but they won't listen because they're retarded. But basically, you know, because a little bit later in the book of Revelation, it talks about how a third part of the day and the night are being blacked out and it says that the sun's not shining for a third part of the day, the moon's not shining, and it also says that the stars aren't shining for a third part of the day. So guess what that means? The stars are still there, so they didn't fall out of the sky, did they? They're still there. A couple chapters later, they're still there. So what fell were meteorites. And if you study some of the cataclysms and things that happen, you know, they're consistent with a meteor impact on this earth because God talks about a star falling from the sky called Wormwood and crashing into the sea and crashing into the rivers, he has a star hit the rivers, he has a star hit the sea. And so these are what we would call in our modern vernacular meteorites hitting, you know, if a meteor hits the earth, it would cause severe damage even if it's very small, okay, relatively speaking. But I don't know why I went off on that. But anyway, go to Matthew 24, because you guys are all too smart for that. Matthew 24, verse 3, let's see what Jesus taught about this. It says in verse 3, And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately saying, Tell us, when shall these things be, and what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you, for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, see that ye be not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nations shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes and divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows, then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you. Now stop and look at this and compare it to what we just read in Revelation 6. What was the order in Revelation 6? Christ with the first seal, then warfare, famine, and then just general death by several different means. And then the fifth seal was what? Martyrs. People being killed for the cross of Christ. That's the exact order of what we just read. In Matthew 24 we start out warning about people who come saying, I am Christ. There's your first seal. You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. There's your second seal. He says in verse number four, nations shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. That's still the second seal. There shall be famines. There's your third seal in the exact order. And pestilences and earthquakes. That would be part of the general death that's coming with the fourth seal. All these are the beginning of sorrows and then what should be coming next? Martyrs. Let's see if it comes. They shall deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you. Right on time. Now tell me something, is that a coincidence that the exact order of events that Jesus taught is the exact order of events that Revelation taught? Of course not. Because they're both talking about the same events. They're talking about the same period. What shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world? Revelations teaches us about the end of the world. He says here's the sequence of events. You got the anti-Christ. He goes forth to conquer. There's warfare. There's famine. There's pestilence. You go to Matthew. Same exact order. Then they deliver you up and kill you. That's the fifth seal. Right on time. Perfect order. I want to draw special attention to verse number six. At the end of verse six it says, see that you be not troubled for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet. Okay. Let's go back to our scroll. What are the seals? The seals are things that have to come to pass but the end is not yet. Does everybody understand that? This is stuff that has to happen so that we can get to the end, right? There are seven things that need to happen first. So all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet. So when the first seal is open, not yet. Second seal, not yet. Third seal, not yet. Fourth seal, it's not the end yet. Fifth seal, hey, this is stuff that has to happen but the end is not yet, right? Because you can't read what's inside the book until you open the seven seals and these seven seals set off these events on this earth. So I don't have any gum on me, do I? All right. There was a lot of gum flying when I flung that thing around. You'd tell me, wouldn't you? And then in Matthew 24 here, he talks about how they're going to deliver you up and they shall kill you. There's your fifth seal. Many shall be offended, shall betray one another and shall hate one another and many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many and because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Now hold on a second. What does that mean shall be saved? Is this talking about you have to endure to the end if you want to go to heaven? That's not what this is saying. A lot of people take that out of context and say, hey, you got to endure to the end if you want to be saved. But actually, let's compare scripture with scripture. Look at verse 22, and except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened. So if the days weren't shortened, there'd be no what saved? So when the Bible says he that endure to the end shall be saved, it's talking about his flesh being saved. He's saying if you endure to the end, you'll be saved, meaning your flesh will be saved, your skin will be saved. And that's why he says here, you know, if those days weren't shortened, there'd no flesh be saved. Everybody would be killed. But for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened. So this time period is going to be cut short for the elect's sake. The elect, by the way, are God's people. The Bible says who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It's God that justified the elect or the saved. So basically what it's saying here is that, you know, the elect shall be saved if they endure to the end. Is that talking about their spiritual salvation of their soul getting to heaven? No, that's just by believing in Christ. That's already a done deal. It's talking about being rescued. You know, when Peter is drowning and he yells, Lord, save me, he's not saying like, I'd really like to go to heaven. He's saying like, get me out of the water, I'm drowning. So that's what, you know, this is a flesh that's being saved. And so you endure this to the end. If you can survive this or make it through this or endure the wars and the, the famines and everything, and especially the martyrs, you know, where, where people are being killed for the cause of Christ and you got to survive that. If you can survive that, then you'll be rescued. You will be saved. Your flesh will be saved is what the Bible is saying. And for sake of time, we'll jump down to verse 29. It says, immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Now is that what we would expect if we had read Revelation 6 and we're wondering, hey, does Matthew 24 line up with Revelation 6? Isn't that what we would expect? Because everything's been coming right on time. Wars, famines, death in general, through pestilence, earthquake, whatever. And then persecution of God's people, killing of God's people, right? Martyrs being killed. The next thing we should expect, where's that sixth seal? Well, what's the sixth seal? Sun and moon darkened. Boom! Here we go. Verse 29, immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Can there be any doubt that the sun and moon being darkened and the stars falling in Revelation 6 is the same as the one in Matthew 24? I mean, come on. Any reasonable person would say these are clearly the same event. It came right after persecution. It's right on time. And it's a very significant event, the sun and moon being darkened. And by the way, this is not just an eclipse. Because when an eclipse happens, yeah, the sun is darkened. And when a lunar eclipse happens, the moon turns bright red. So the moon turns into blood. But here's the thing about that. They can't happen at the same time. You know, you can't have the sun and moon darkened at the same time. It doesn't work because of the fact that, you know, when the moon is, or when there's a lunar eclipse, that only happens on a full moon. And when there's a solar eclipse, it only happens on the new moon, so it's the opposite time of the month. It can't happen at the same time. So it's a supernatural, very significant event, you know, when you're moving these astronomical bodies and creating this supernatural event of solar and lunar eclipse at the same time. This is a big deal. That's why God keeps pointing to it over and over again. Even in the Old Testament, he's talking about this. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and notable day of the Lord come, Joel chapter 2. It talks about in Isaiah chapter 13, I mean just over and over again, the day of the Lord, sun and moon darkened. It's a big deal, okay? That's what happens. And here's the point that I really want to drive in right here. It says, immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened. Now don't miss this. The sun is darkened after the tribulation, after, after. Now, now, think about this for a second. In the book of Revelation, when the sun and moon are darkened, what do people say after the sun and moon get darkened? After it's darkened, they say, the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand? Okay, so everybody stop and understand this. This pulpit is going to represent the sun and moon being darkened, okay? This is, this great event here, sun and moon being darkened, the great sign in heaven of the end. Sun and moon darkened, okay? Over here is the tribulation. Because the Bible said, and the time is going to flow this way, okay? So the Bible said that after the tribulation, there in verse 29, the sun and moon are darkened. Everybody got that? So what comes first? The sun, I'm going to quiz you. What comes first? I know this is real easy. Maybe three-year-olds or four-year-olds want to participate. This is for you. This is end times prophecy for pre-K, all right? Maybe even a theologian will be able to understand this. Which comes first, sun and moon being darkened, or tribulation, according to Matthew 24, 29? Tribulation comes first, then after the tribulation, sun and moon are darkened. But Pastor Anderson, Matthew 24 is talking to the Jews. Okay, okay, let's, that's absurd, but okay, okay, fine. So Jews, let's add the word Jews. Hey Jews, immediately after the tribulation, shall the sun and moon be darkened. Hey schwomo, after the tribulation, the sun and moon are darkened. So even if you're talking to the Jews, does that change the order of sun and moon being darkened and tribulation? But you, the rapture, I'm not talking about the rapture right now. Did I say rapture? I said after the tribulation, the sun and moon are darkened, Jews. After Jews, the Jews, tribulation Jews, sun Jews, and Jews, moon Jews are darkened Jews. It doesn't change the meaning. Either way, you end up with, first comes the tribulation, and then after the tribulation, the sun and moon are darkened. See how that doesn't have any effect? No effect. You can put Jew as many times as you want. That's what Joseph Smith did, by the way, in Joseph Smith's Pearl of Great Price. He gives his version of Matthew 24, and he says, then shall be great tribulation upon the Jews. And after the tribulation upon the Jews, he does that. Okay, because he's controlled by the same guy who came up with the preacher of rapture. I digress. Okay, everybody got that? Okay, now, let me ask you this. When do they say the great day of his wrath is come? After the sun and moon are darkened. Everybody understand that? So let's get our order here. Sun and moon are darkened, now the great day of his wrath is come. Did the great day of his wrath come before the sun and moon were darkened? No. Sun and moon are darkened, okay, now it's here. The great day of his wrath is come. So riddle me this. If I'm over here representing God's wrath right here, the great day of his wrath is come, okay, Daniel, jump up here and you be the tribulation, okay? So Mr. Tribulation and Mr. Wrath, okay. So here's the thing, Mr. Wrath is over here after the sun and moon are darkened. Sun and moon are darkened, then the wrath comes, right? Mr. Tribulation is before the wrath. How can we be the same person? Can you explain that to me? Is Mr. Tribulation Mr. Wrath? Are we the same person? Because one of us comes after the sun and moon are darkened and was, but how can we both be the same person? But yet, pre-tribbers, they all believe that the, well the tribulation, that's God's wrath. That's what they'll all say. They will all 100% say, well the tribulation is a seven year period of God's wrath. Daniel Ryder is Pastor Anderson, even though we're occupying different space. There's a great gulf fixed between us here. All right, have a seat, Brother Daniel. Look, I mean, it's common sense, folks. Yeah, but Pat, you know, you forgot this, written to the Jews. What does that change about what I just said? You're dead wrong about it being written to the Jews. You're dead wrong thinking that the elect are the Jews, that's nonsense. But even if you believe that, you would have to admit that the sun and moon are not darkened until after the tribulation, and you'd have to admit that God's wrath doesn't come after, until after the sun and moon are darkened, meaning that the tribulation and God's wrath are two different things. So according to the Bible, if we actually let the Bible define terms for us, what is the tribulation according to the Bible? The tribulation is the first five seals. That is the tribulation according to the Bible, because the Bible describes the first five seals and then says, okay, now after that tribulation, after the tribulation of those days, then the sun and moon are darkened. By the time you get to God's wrath, the tribulation is over. So you have the tribulation, then you have the sun and moon are darkened, and then you have the wrath of God being poured out. This is why we call what we believe post-tribulation pre-wrath rapture, because the rapture takes place after the tribulation, but before God's wrath is poured out. We are not going to be here for all of the cataclysms of water turning into blood and fire and brimstone raining from the sky and all of these horrific things. That's why the Bible says that when you see these things come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads for your redemption draw nigh. When you see the sun and moon are darkened, you know this is it. This is the day. It's happening. Okay. Let's look at what we would at Matthew 24 verse 29 and let me show you the post-tribulation pre-wrath rapture, okay? Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, exactly what we saw in Revelation 6, and then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven, then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn. Now isn't that what they were doing? Hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne. Hide us from the wrath of the lamb. They're all wailing and mourning and weeping and they clearly see the son of man because they're saying hide us from him. You know they're saying hide us from the wrath of the lamb. So it says that they shall see, they shall appear, excuse me, then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory and he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other. And then he says in verse 36, but of that day and hour knoweth no man, know not the angels of heaven but my Father only. And then they'll say, oh well no man knows the day of the hour, that means it could happen today. No. Because it happens after the tribulation. No man knows the day or the hour because we don't know when the tribulation starts. You know we can't be a hundred percent sure how long it's going to last because it's going to be shortened and so no man knows the day or the hour. No one knows when Christ is going to return. Now you say well you know but when we see everything happen then we'll know. You got it right. It doesn't say no one's ever going to know, it just says that nobody knows until it happens. After it happens we're going to look back on it and know, am I right? I mean that's obvious. But here's the thing about it. If I said to you after summer, after summer I'm going to come visit you at your house after summer. Would you go home and say you know clean the house because Pastor Anderson's coming at any moment? No. You'd wait till after summer and then you'd say okay now he's coming at any moment. But to say that he's coming at any moment now would make no sense because of the fact that summer hasn't passed yet. Okay. And that's what the Bible is telling us here. You know learn the parable of the fig tree. When his branch is yet tender, verse 32, and putteth forth leaves you know that summer is nigh. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near even at the doors. You don't know the day or the hour. Anyone who tries to predict it is a fool because nobody knows. But he says when you see the things come to pass then you can say like okay it's near, it's at the doors, we can see that it's happening now. That's what he's explaining here. And so you could try to wiggle out of this all you want but the scripture is so clear that it's after the tribulation Christ comes in the clouds, he gathers the elect. And you say well no that is talking about the Jews. First of all the whole book of Matthew is about God basically saying to the Jews the kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. But let's say you were to swallow that lie that says oh the Jews are God's chosen people even though they're not saved, even though they hate the Lord, even though they don't believe in Jesus, they're just elect somehow. Okay even if you were to swallow that, which I encourage you just look up the word elect every time it occurs in scripture and you'll see that there are many places where it cannot be referring to the Jews or Israel. It's impossible. Clearly referring to Christians. Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justified. Look I've heard that preached my whole life, that verse. That's one of the most popular verses in the Bible. Romans 8, nothing can separate us from the love of God. Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It's God that justifieth. Being elect is being justified. Just as if I'd never sinned, right, justified, saved. And by the way, who shall lay anything to the charge of any Jew? It's crazy right? It doesn't make any sense. You know we could give all kinds of charges against Jews, right? All day long. Jews are going to go to hell when they die if they don't get saved. They don't become a Christian. They're going to go to hell when they die. That's what the Bible says. But even if you were to swallow that nonsense, that would still not change what this is saying. Because if you were to swallow that, you'd still have to admit that the tribulation happens before the sun and moon are darkened and God's wrath isn't poured out until after the sun and moon are darkened. And then if you're going to claim that this is happening basically, because the pre-trippers will say, you know, there's the seals and there's trumpets and there's all God's wrath, it's all the tribulation, it's all, they kind of just put it into one blob, it's all one thing. Then basically what they would have to believe is that part way through the seven years of Daniel's seventieth week, they would have to believe that basically God just darkens the sun and moon and just shows up and grabs a bunch of Jews. Like what sense does that even make? Like after the tribulation but before God's wrath, he shows up and just, you know, air lifts out a bunch of Jews. That's the, what? That doesn't even make sense. That's not even what they teach. And you know what they'll try to say? They'll try to say that Matthew 24 is at the end of the seven years, because they want to make the whole seven years the tribulation. That's not what it is. It's first the tribulation, then sun and moon are darkened, then there's God's wrath. It's in two very distinct segments. But they want to just say the whole thing is the tribulation. So when it says after the tribulation here, they want to put that at the end of the seven years, because to them after the tribulation is end of seven years. Well then here's the problem that you're going to run into then. You're telling me that at the sixth seal the seven years are over? What about everything that happens after that? What about the trumpet? Where do you put the trumpets? Where do you put the vials? Do you see the problem with that? So if you're going to end the week at the sixth seal, you've got a huge problem of what about the trumpets that clearly can't even start until after the seals are done. The trumpets can't even start until then. So basically that's a massive problem that they have. And then they'll try to say that Revelation 19, when Jesus comes on the white horse, that's Matthew 24, except that if you compare Matthew 24 and Revelation 19, they have almost nothing in common. Whereas if we compare Matthew 24 to let's say a rapture passage like 1 Thessalonians 4, they have a lot in common. Trumpet sounds, Christ coming in the clouds, elect being gathered, it's all there folks. So anyway, you know, obviously I could go on about this all night because there's so much that the Bible has to say, but I really wanted to just focus in tonight on this idea of post-tribulation pre-wrath. That the rapture comes after the tribulation, but before God's wrath. That means that we are going to be here for World War III, yes we will. We will be here during a time of famine. We will be here during a time of pestilence. We will be here during a time of persecution. And we will be here to see the Antichrist come to power and we will be persecuted if this happens in our lifetime. We're going to be there for all that. Now you say, well that's not very comforting. Well I'm sorry, you know, would you like your pacifier back in your mouth and then I can maybe explain to you the comfort? Because guess what? The Christian life is a life of persecution, trouble, trials, and tribulations. That's what the entire Bible teaches. Why would we be spared of persecution when Christians throughout history have always been persecuted? All that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Christians have gone through times of, well God's not going to pour out his wrath on his own people. You got it right. That's why it's a pre-wrath rapture. He's going to allow us to go through wars. Haven't Christians throughout history gone through, I mean Christians went through World War I. You don't think Christians, you don't think born again Christians went through World War I, World War II, and were starving and getting skinny and, you know, having to dodge bombs and explosions and get shot at and everything. You know, people have always gone through stuff my friend. And if this happens in our lifetime, we're going to be there. But you know what the Bible tells us specifically? Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. So I'm not going to spend five seconds worrying about it. I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight and I'm not going to worry at all about the, you know, oh what if the tribulation starts? You know, what's going to, I mean if the tribulation starts, I think that's great. If it starts tomorrow, I'll be like, cool. Even so, come Lord Jesus. Because it's worth going through that to get to, you know, the second coming. I mean it'd be a privilege to be here because most generations aren't going to be here during the end. You know, it'd be kind of cool to be that generation when Christ returns in our lifetime. And you know what? If God allows me to be martyred, that's okay, you know, because that's a great honor. But most of us are not going to be martyred. The vast majority of us are not going to be killed. The vast majority of us will survive to the end. So that's cool too, right? You say, pastor, you're going to be the first one that gets killed, you know? You know what? That'd be cool too. I mean, being the first one killed, you know, or I mean, hey, I wouldn't, I'm okay with that. But I'd much rather be alive and remain under the coming of the Lord. And I, you know what? I personally believe that if it happens in my lifetime, I will survive all the way to the end. That's what I believe. Because I think the pre-trib pastors are the ones that are going to get smoked, okay? That's my opinion. And I have reasons for that, but I'm out of time. So let's bow our heads and have a word of prayer. Father, we thank you so much for your word, Lord, and Lord, there's so much deception out there. There's so many lies out there. And Lord God, I know that there are a lot of good preachers who have been deceived by the pre-trib rapture. God bless them. And Lord, open their eyes and help them to see what a fraud it is because they've been so brainwashed at Bible college or whatever, Lord. I know there's a lot of good people that believe this, Lord, but I just pray that your word would cut through the lies like a knife. And I just pray that these pastors would actually read Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, take the blinders off and read Revelation and see that it's pretty clear that this pre-trib rapture is a false Hollywood doctrine, it's a false Charismaniac doctrine, it's not biblical, and it's a doctrine that teaches people basically that they're going to avoid persecution and trouble and it kind of lulls us to sleep when really we're supposed to be ready and watching. Even if it doesn't happen in our lifetime, Lord, we know we'd do well to be ready and watching anyway. And even so, come Lord Jesus, and it's in His name we pray, amen. Amen. Amen, please take your hymnals and we'll sing hymn number 150. My faith has found the resting place, hymn number 150. Let's sing it out nice and loud on that first verse. My faith has found a resting place. Sing it on this first verse together, hymn number 150. My faith has found the resting place, not in the eyes for free. I trust the ever-living One, His wounds for me shall free. I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that He died for me. Enough for me that Jesus sinned, this is my fear and doubt. A sinful soul, I come to Him, He'll never cast me out. I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that He died for me. My heart is leaning on the Word, the rigid Word of God. Salvation by my Savior's name, salvation through His blood. I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that He died for me. My great physician heals his sin, the loss he came to save. For he is precious blood he shed, for he is life-beating. I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that He died for me. I need no other argument, I need no other plea. I need no other argument.
