And we do not have a verse of the week on the front of the bulletin, but happy Children's Day for everyone here, for parents and, of course, kids as well. We are a family-integrated church, meaning children and infants are welcome during the services. We do have a mother-baby room back there for your convenience as well as the ladies' comfort room, and the men's comfort room is up here in front. Remember, no eating during the service, maintain a professional atmosphere, and keep the children from running and making noise during the church service. Our weekly service times are listed. First service is at 10 a.m., second service at 1130, Wednesday evening Bible study at 7 p.m., with soul winning on Wednesdays at 4 p.m., meeting at the church building. Saturdays at Case and Memorial Circle from 10 to 12, lunch provided by church, and then two to four. Sunday afternoons, soul winning usually at 2.15. We're planning to get started with soul winning a lot earlier today. The first sermon's probably not gonna be shorter, but the second sermon will be shorter, so we're gonna get started at least 30 minutes early. Probably by 1.30 is actually our goal to get started for soul winning because we do have activities later today. And our salvation and baptisms are listed there for October as well as year to date, as well as birthdays and anniversaries we have listed for November there. Next page, our Bible memorization challenge. We do have prizes back there on the back table if you're able to complete the prize. Upcoming activities, and so we do have, today is our second annual Children's Day, so we're gonna have a lot of games geared toward kids in the afternoon. I don't have it listed here, I forgot to add it, but we do have soul winning marathons tomorrow and Tuesday, but obviously all of this depends on the weather, right? So to be honest, early this morning, I wasn't even sure if I was gonna be able to come up here because the rain was coming down super hard, especially in Pampanga, but then it kinda just cleared, so it's like, well, we walk by faith, right? We're just gonna assume it's gonna be okay. So I'm assuming we're gonna have soul winning today around 1.30, but obviously we'll see with the weather as long as it holds off, and soul winning marathons on Monday and Tuesday, once again, that will depend on the weather as well. But anyways, next week we do have choir practice, and we also have choir practice on the 13th and the 20th. Our four year anniversary is on the 27th. Our anniversary in Pampanga is coming up in just 13 days, so it's coming up very quickly. Many people have signed up for that, and so that's gonna be a great time. Possible upcoming activities, so I didn't put for sure, but most likely we're planning a missions trip to probably to Baguio in March. I forgot to bring a sign up sheet today. I will bring it next week to get kind of a survey of who might be interested in that. And then in August, we have our two year anniversary at VBC Beekle, so we'll probably plan a special trip for that as well, but that is coming up a long time down the road. I just list those activities because those are things you might have to save up money if you're planning to be a part of, so I wanna give you kind of a heads up, not just kind of last second. Current upcoming series, we are in the Book of Ezra. We are taking a break from that here today. Information on a group chat, then we do have that note that we do have our CCTV that is paying attention to everything you do, right? So don't do anything horrible, right? And on the back page we have a place for notes for the sermons here today. So I believe that's it for announcements. At this time, we will sing song number 176. It is Children's Day, so Jesus Loves the Little Children. Now, one note on this, we're gonna sing it three times through the first time through Jesus Loves the Little Children, the second time through Jesus died for all the children, and of course, you know, Christianity's not complete without Jesus rose for all the children on the third time, okay? So we're gonna sing this song 176, Jesus Loves the Little Children. ["Jesus Loves the Little Children"] On the first. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world. Jesus died for all the children, all the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus died for all the children of the world. Jesus rose. Jesus rose for all the children, all the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus rose for all the children of the world. All right, at this time we will take our offering. ["Jesus Loves the Little Children"] ["Jesus Loves the Little Children"] Thou condemnest thyself, without the judges do us the same things. But we are saying that the judgment of God is according to truth against them, which commits such things, and thinkest thou this, O man, that judges them which do such things, and do us the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God. Or despises thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance. But after thy heart is an impenitent heart, treasures up unto thyself wrath against a day of wrath, and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will render to every man according to his deeds, to them who by patient continuance and well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life. But unto them that are contentious and do not obey the truth, but obey in righteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile, that in glory, honor, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile, for there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law. For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles which have not the law do by nature the things contained in the law, these having not the law are a law unto themselves, which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts demean while excusing or else excusing one another. In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel, be all thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, and knowest his will, and approvest of things that are more excellent being instructed out of the law, and are confident that thou thyself are the guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which has the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Thou, therefore, which teaches another, teaches thou not thyself. Thou that preaches a man should not steal, is thou steel. Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, does thou commit adultery. Thou that abhors idols, does thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonors thou, God. For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law. But if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. Therefore the uncircumcision, keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision, and shall not uncircumcision, which is by nature, if it fulfill the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision does transgress the law. For he is not a Jew, which is worn outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh, but he is a Jew, which is worn inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter, whose praise is not of men, but of God. Blessed be the name of God's word, let us pray. Lord God, in heaven, we thank you, Lord, for the state that you've given to us. I pray, Lord, that you would give us good weather for our soul, and in our fellowship, Lord, and our event, Lord, for this day. I pray, Lord, that you would bless the preacher and the preacher in your word, Lord, this day. We love you, in Jesus' name, we pray, amen. All right, we are in Romans chapter two, and of course, this is the Halloween, All Saints' Day, All Souls' Day weekend, and traditionally, I preached basically one sermon against kind of the dark holidays. Last year, we started Children's Day, so I had one sermon against kind of like satanic, you know, things such as that, I preached against voodoo, and the second sermon was an edifying sermon. Well, it's the same thing today, because the first sermon I'm preaching about serial killers. Okay, now, at first glance, you might say, oh, Brother Stuckey, you know, what does this have to do with Halloween, or All Saints' Day, or All Souls' Day? There's a dramatic increase in violent crimes at Halloween. In fact, it's the most dangerous day of the year for children. Now, in a lot of countries, not so much here, but especially in America, there's a lot of trick-or-treating and all over Europe, and basically, you got all these kids that are going out from house to house, getting candy, dressing up as a devil, and then going out and getting candy. Oftentimes, they come without their parents, so you've got like seven-year-olds and eight-year-olds walking in these neighborhoods, away from their parents, on Halloween, a satanic holiday, while dressing like a devil, and the parents assume, well, nothing's gonna happen. But actually, what you see is a dramatic increase in violent crimes, such as murder. In fact, there's a movie series called Halloween, and it's a movie series. I think I might have watched one of those movies like 15 years ago, or 20 years ago, or something like that, but it's a movie series where this guy just goes around and kills people, and apparently, it's something that people find entertaining in 2022, but they call it Halloween because it's very common on Halloween. Some of the most violent crimes have come on Halloween, which is, I believe tomorrow is Halloween, the 31st of October. But anyway, you say, well, Brother Stuckey, does the Bible ever talk about serial killers? Well, I don't believe the Bible directly speaks about serial killers, but it certainly indirectly speaks about serial killers. The reason why it probably does not directly talk about people like Jeffrey Dahmer, though they did exist in the Bible days, is because you have to be simple concerning evil. You don't wanna get too much disturbing information into your mind. As I preach this sermon, I'm not gonna go into gruesome details where everybody has a nightmare tonight. Because honestly, if you know all these intense details, it would probably give a lot of us, including me, nightmares thinking about this stuff. It's not good for your mind. So I'm gonna be very light in terms of talking about the gruesome nature of what these people did, but at the same time, unfortunately, this is something that exists in our world, so we do need to be aware of what the Bible says about it. Now, here's what it says about psychopaths from an article. Psychopaths are pathological liars, manipulators, and charmers. They have a distinct lack of remorse for their own bad actions, a failure to accept responsibility for the same, and an overall lack of empathy. They are impulsive and irresponsible, seeking constant stimulation. Many are horribly violent, and their motives more commonly will involve sadistic gratification, according to an FBI bulletin devoted to the disorder. Now, first off, I don't like that terminology, disorder, because these are people that, their conscience is seared, they're bad people. Saying it's a disorder implies you can just give them a pill and everything will be fixed, and that's not what the Bible teaches, okay? But it says the psychopath is an intraspecies predator, it reads. And so it says here on this other article, a psychopath doesn't have a conscience. If he lies to you so he can steal your money, he won't feel any moral qualms, though he may pretend to. He may observe others and then act the way they do so he's not found out. So basically, people that are psychopaths and have no conscience, they're basically like professional actors, because they've gotta spend their entire life 24-7 acting like they're a normal person when they're not. And so they basically learn to, you know, mimic other people's emotions in certain situations so they appear normal when in reality they're not. And what takes place is 95% of the time they're successful, and there's that other 5% of the time where you're like, that was bizarre, right? They have a weird reaction because they basically let their guard down a little bit. Now, one thing they say about psychopaths from the world's perspective, which is incorrect, is they say psychopaths are born, sociopaths are made. So according to that, a psychopath, it's just a genetic situation where basically, because of, you know, biology or whatever, you just happen to be born a psychopath. The question is, what does the Bible say about this? Well, Romans 2, notice what it says in verse 14. It says, for when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these having not the law are a law unto themselves, which show the work of the law written in their hearts, notice this, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the meanwhile accusing or else excusing one another. The Bible says here in Romans 2, verse 15, it says these people, they're born with a conscience. Everybody is born with a conscience. Now, what they say about a psychopath, or what we would term a reprobate, is it's someone without a conscience. And they look at people and they say, well, they don't have a conscience, therefore they must not have been born with one. That's the wrong conclusion. Because what the Bible says is, they were born with a conscience. Every single person in this world is born with a conscience. What the Bible teaches is, at some point though, some people can lose that conscience. Now, go in your Bible to Ephesians 2. Ephesians 2. Now, there are a couple of false teachings on this idea of children of the devil, which is a term for someone who is a reprobate. And one false teaching comes from the Catholics, where they teach everybody's a child of God. Well, that's not true, because Jesus said he must be born again. So if you have to be born again, you're obviously not a child of God until you're born again. All of us were unsaved, not children of God at one time, and then we got saved, we believed on Christ, and we were born into God's family. Then the other false teaching is from the Calvinists, where they say, no, no, no, not everybody's a child of God. Everyone's a child of the devil. Well, that's not what the Bible teaches either. What the Bible teaches is that as a baby, if you die, you go to heaven, but you reach an age where you're held accountable by God, and at that time, you've got to make a choice, and then you can either choose to believe on Christ and become a child of God, or you can open up that door to being a reprobate. Now, most people stay in the middle, they never choose either side, and when they die, they are forever cast into a lake of fire. However, in this world, you can believe on Christ and receive everlasting life, but you can also go the other direction and basically can damn your soul to hell because you've chosen the side of the devil at some point. This is what the Bible teaches. Notice what it says in Ephesians 2. Ephesians 2, it says, And you hath he quickened, verse one, who were dead in trespasses and sins. Quickened means to be made alive, okay? Wherein in time past he walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. And the Bible says that people, they're basically just following the course of this world before they're saved, and they're not aware of it. Even people, whether they be conservative or liberal, they just kind of follow the flow of everybody else, and they're gonna be on this path that's gonna lead them to hell. The Bible says you must overcome to be saved. Now, we overcome by faith, but everyone's just kind of going down this course of the world, and the Bible says children of disobedience. And the Calvinist is gonna turn here in verse two and say, well, see, a child of disobedience, therefore they're a child of the devil. Doesn't say a child of the devil. Doesn't say a child of Belial. It says a child of disobedience. You say, what does that mean? It means we're all born sinners. Everyone's disobedient. Everybody sins, right? I mean, before someone's saved, I mean, the Bible uses a terminology of sinners and saints. Well, of course, we're still sinners after we get saved and become a saint. But it uses that terminology because an unsaved person, dying unsaved, all that comes forth are their bad actions, and they get judged for that. And they are a child of disobedience with a million bad actions and no good actions at Judgment Day, right? We were all children of disobedience by terminology because all we were were people following the course of this world, unsaved people with sinful, fleshful desires. Then it says in verse three, among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. And once again, they'll say, well, children of wrath, therefore a child of the devil. Once again, it doesn't say a child of the devil. When you die unsaved, what abides on you forever, according to John 3.36? The wrath of God. And what the Bible's showing is that if a person does not get saved, the only thing that comes forth are their bad actions. And you know what? Everyone that's unsaved is on their path to the wrath of God abiding on them for all eternity. That's what the Bible teaches. It does not say that people are children of the devil without a conscience and totally depraved, and God's gotta regenerate them. That's not what it says here in Ephesians 2. Go to Acts chapter 10. Acts 10. Acts 10. Totally depraved in Tagalog, Ubo Nang Sama, you know, is the terminology. And Calvinists claim that everybody is totally depraved before they're saved. Everybody just could easily become a serial killer. Everyone could just get into the most bizarre sexual perversion ever. Everybody's got that in their nature, according to the Calvinists. Right, well that's not what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches that you're born and by nature you have certain natural desires, but there are unnatural desires that you do not have. Look, the average person in this world that is unsaved does not have this inner desire to murder people for fun and be a serial killer. That's ridiculous. And if somebody tells me, you know what, I used to have those desires, I'd be like, whoa. I'd be kinda scared. It's like, I mean, are you kidding me? Because, I mean, you think of murder as being perhaps the worst thing that you could possibly do. I mean, I look at serial killers as being the most depraved, messed up people ever. Because honestly, you know, they get into sexual perversion far before they get into serial killing and then it just gets far worse. And it's just like this disturbing stuff that no normal person would ever have. You cannot tell me that they were born with these desires. You cannot tell me that the average person just at a young age had a desire to harm people for fun. When kids are born, they have natural compassion. When somebody gets hurt, they feel really bad. To say that they would have this inner desire to cause harm, that doesn't make any sense, that's ridiculous. Like, have you ever had kids? I mean, that's not the way that kids act, right? Bible says in Acts 10, verse one, there's a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band. Now, let me ask you this question. In this story, if you're familiar with your Bible, is Cornelius a saved man or an unsaved man at this time? Unsaved, no question about it because when Peter recounts this story, he says that, you know what, I gave him the gospel when he got saved. By my mouth, he heard the gospel. I mean, specifically, God sends Peter to preach the gospel to him. He doesn't just send Peter on a long distance to someone who's already saved. Hey, let's just have lunch together. No, he sends him to preach the gospel because there's nobody else to do the job. But what the Bible says in verse two is a devout man and one that feared God. Because, see, the Calvinist says, well, before you're saved, you have no fear of God, but wait a minute, that's not what the Bible says. And they wanna quote from Romans 3, but you know what, Romans 3 is a quote from Psalm 14 where it basically is referring to reprobates in the middle section between those verses we quote, right, where they basically wanna cause wickedness or feeder swift to running to evil. You're taking that out of context when you look at the quote it's from. But what the Bible says here in Acts 10, verse two is this unsaved man fears God. So don't tell me that every unsaved person just naturally hates God as according to the Calvinist and wants to kill people and cause harm and has all of these things within their nature. That's not what the Bible teaches. Go in your Bible to Romans 1, Romans 1. Bottom line is point one, people are born with a conscience. Everybody is born with a conscience. Everybody is born with a conscience. Now here's the thing, I don't dispute the fact that there are people in this world without a conscience. What I dispute is the idea that they were born without a conscience. Don't tell me, well, Jeffrey Dahmer was just born without a conscience, we just gotta find that magic pill that will fix it. Maybe give him a little bit of shock therapy, give him some more candy, it's gonna fix the problem. Never put these people to death because there might be a chance to reform them after they've killed 47 people, 57 people. It's like people are out of their minds in 2022. They don't wanna do what the Bible says and just believe what the Bible says and they use man's wisdom and they just have so much compassion for these serial killers when in reality they're allowing those serial killers to cause harm in this world. Look, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, whatever famous serial killer, they were born with a conscience. However, at some point they obviously lost that conscience. They obviously no longer had guilt or remorse for anything that they did. Why does that take place? Well, point one is people are born with a conscience. Point two, people turn on God. It starts by people choosing to turn on God. Every serial killer made a choice at one point in their life to turn and rebel and hate God. That's not every unsaved person. But that is the road that the person is a serial killer went down of hating God and turning on God. Notice what it says in Romans one verse 19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. What the Bible says here in verses 19 and 20 is basically you can look out at what God has created and it's obvious there's a God. You don't have to convince your child that God is real. Right, when someone's an atheist, it's because they've been convinced and brainwashed that God is not real. But see, everybody can look outside at a young age. They see the sun, they see the moon, they see the stars. Hey, do you think this created itself or do you think somebody created this? Somebody created it. You know why a child says that? Because they're not Bobo. You show them something it obviously didn't make itself. Right, common sense. And you can look out at what's been created. It's obvious there's a God. I have never in my life ever questioned whether God was real. I'm not saying that that's the truth for every single person in here because maybe there are people in here that did question that. But the reason why you did is because you were brainwashed. That's a fact because you can look outside at the sun and the moon and the stars and the mountains and what God has created and you know that God is real. And so people to deny the existence of God which is what you see here in Romans one, they're without excuse because God's made it manifest as it says in verse number 19 that he's real. He's made it manifest by what he's created and he's also made it manifest by that conscience on the inside of you, right? And look, evolutionists, they cannot explain where the conscience comes from. They like to avoid questions like that. If we're just an evolved animal, why is it that we have a conscience? Because the world's gonna say animals act off instinct. They're gonna admit humans are different. Well, how did we evolve a conscience? But see, we're created by God which we believe we are different than the animals and yes, we do have a conscience. We don't just act off of instinct. We're actually born with a conscience and that conscience will make us feel guilty sometimes when we do something wrong or even think about doing something wrong. When a child tells a lie, they know it's wrong. They feel bad about it but they are sinners just like all of us are sinners but they are born with a conscience. So how is it they could lose that conscience? Well, what the Bible says is that people can choose to turn on God. Verse 21, because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God. Now I want you to realize this does not necessarily mean that these people heard a clear presentation of the gospel. A person can become a reprobate without hearing a clear presentation of the gospel. Look, a lot of people in this world are reprobates and they've never heard a clear presentation of the gospel but that does not mean that God has never given them any information about himself. People can get information about God being real and the truth of God and choose to reject God without hearing a clear presentation of the gospel. These people, they knew God, they knew it through the nature that he's created and they chose not to glorify him as God. They chose to reject God. They knew God, they knew things about God but they chose to reject him. Now don't misunderstand what I'm saying because if somebody hears the gospel many times, they're hearing more truth and it's a matter of them choosing to reject the truth. So you're more likely to become a reprobate if you hear the truth over and over again and you're around it because you make the decision to believe it or reject it. However, even people in this world that don't hear a clear presentation of the gospel, they can have truth revealed to them about God and choose to reject it. And what the Bible says in this verse is, neither were thankful but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. It's interesting when it says neither were thankful because you know what, if you have young children and you ask them at the end of the day, did you have a good day? You know what they always say? Yes. It's like, what did you do today? I mean, sometimes my kids, I went upstairs and downstairs and they're thankful that they got to go upstairs and downstairs. They're thankful they get to jump. They're thankful they get to walk. They're thankful for the food that they eat. I mean, kids naturally are thankful. I'm not saying kids can ever be rebellious but I'll tell you what, kids are very thankful for the gift of life at a young age. There's no question about that. So the question is, what would take place to cause someone not to be thankful? And see, certain things happen to people in their lives and they choose to rebel against God and get mad at God. Instead of naturally being thankful like young children are, they end up choosing to rebel on God. And the Bible says, their foolish heart was darkened. They become vain in their imaginations. They start thinking stupid things like, well, maybe we evolved from a rock four and a half billion years ago. It's like, what a stupid conclusion to come to but they're becoming vain in their imaginations. It's like they wanna be the next Disney writer or something like that. Let me come up with a fairy tale that no one's come up with. They just come up with this stupid stuff that doesn't make any sense. Why? Because they're not thankful toward God and they don't wanna glorify God and so they choose to believe the stupidest things in order to reject God. Now, it's not merely evolution you could look at because a lot of religions, they worship animals. They become vain in their imaginations. They believe stupid things that don't make any sense. I was just researching just a couple days ago. Probably a lot of you are aware, in India, there's this famous temple called the Rat Temple is its nickname. I can't remember the actual name of it but it's filled full of thousands of rats and it's for some female goddess, owns the temple or whatever. They say they go and they give offerings to her and everything. It was funny, I was looking on TripAdvisor. I'm curious what the reviews of this place are. Most of them are positive, right? If you wanna go to India, you wanna check it out. I mean, most of the reviews are very positive, right? Because they're saying, oh, you get to worship this goddess. You feel so close to God. Now, some reviews were negative and they're like, it was a lot dirtier than I expected. It's like, what did you expect a rat temple to be like? But isn't that a stupid thing to worship rats? It's like, you gotta be, I mean, your foolish heart is dark and now you're starting to believe in stupidity. Right, just stupid stuff. And you know, Hinduism's the easiest one to look at because they very much worship animals. Or the story of Ganesh, how his father comes home, he doesn't recognize his son and he cuts off his son's head. His wife is like, what happened to our son? And then he goes out and cuts off an elephant's head and that's the elephant god that Hindus worship. It's like, talk about being vain in your imaginations. Talk about foolishness, that's stupid. Right, but yet in this world, there's a lot of stupid religions that people follow. And why is that? Because they're rejecting the true God. They're rejecting God that created them because they don't want to give glory to the actual God. The Bible says, professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and changed the... Corruptible man and to birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things. And people start worshiping these animals, they start believing in evolution and these things and what they're doing is changing the glory of the uncorruptible God and then worshiping animals. Right, it's madness, it's stupid, but that's what takes place. Now go in your Bible to Genesis 19. Genesis 19. You say, what's that called, Brother Stuckey? It's called turning on God, rejecting God. Instead of believing in the simple truth that there's an almighty God that created me and I should give glory to God, they refuse to do that so they become vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart is darkened, the Bible says. Now from this article, it says about psychopaths. Psychopaths are found in every country, belong to every race and the majority are men. According to several studies, roughly 1% of the men in the United States are probably psychopaths and they most likely exhibited signs at a very young age. Now I don't doubt that most people that became serial killers exhibited signs of being a psychopath at a young age. Their conclusion is therefore they must have been born without a conscience. That's the wrong conclusion. What the correct conclusion is is that children often unfortunately have very messed up upbringings, have a lot of disturbing things that take place to them and therefore they get mad at God at a very young age. I look back on my life, I was very thankful just growing up, I loved just being able to play soccer, spend time with my family, I had a nice upbringing but that's not the case with everybody. And if you have a nice upbringing, you're very thankful for just various things that you're given in life and the gift of life that you get to experience. But unfortunately not everybody has a childhood like that and what takes place with serial killers, if you know their backgrounds as children, all of them had the most messed up upbringings that you could possibly imagine. Let me give you a couple examples of this. There's a guy by the name of Henry Lee Lucas. Now by some accounts, he murdered more people than anyone in the history of the United States. Now the reason why it's hard to determine whether or not that's accurate is because serial killers will often take credit for people they didn't kill because it's kind of like a competition, who killed the most. And also during that time period, he was in the past, DNA evidence and things such as that were not as prolific as they are now and is not as good. So basically this man was a vagabond, he just traveled around and it's really hard to verify did he actually kill these people or not. So it's not really known if this man killed as many people as he claimed or if he did not. Regardless, it is known that he killed a lot of people. But this was his upbringing. His mother was a prostitute, Viola, and his mom would force him to watch her work. And his mom also forced him to dress up like a girl and cross dress him. That way she could make money off him being a boy prostitute with both men and women. I mean, can you really think of a more messed up childhood than that? I doubt anybody in this room had anything that bad happen in their life. That's pretty messed up. I mean, it's not shocking that this person who was forced to dress like a girl and then act like a boy prostitute to make money for the family, it's not surprising that he chose to get mad and angry at God. And don't misunderstand me because this man could have chosen to believe on Christ and gotten saved. He did not have to get angry at God. But of course, if that's your childhood, you're gonna be more likely to get mad at God than if you have a normal childhood. And this person had a very messed up childhood. What takes place? Well, I mean, he killed more people than anybody in the history of the United States, right? Well, largely because of what took place to him, he chose to turn on God. And what you see with people that have upbringings like this, or if you've ever listened to people that are serial killers, what they're often going to say is that because of the harm done to them, it's like they had a desire to do that to other people. It's kinda like you had a very disturbing thing happen to you and the victim becomes the victimizer. That often takes place, unfortunately, but this is why the LGBTI recruiters, because they will harm a little child and that child gets angry at God and they wanna cause that same harm to somebody else because it's what took place to them. Another example is a guy by the name of Otis Tool. Otis Tool, his father was a drunk and he was raised just by his mom. And his mom dressed him in girls' clothing. Seems like there's, for people to say, hey, let your children at a young age dress them in men's clothing and women's clothing as little kids. Well, it sounds like you might be creating a serial killer. Because that's what we saw with Henry Lee Lucas. Same thing with Otis Tool. She dressed him like a girl and she called him Susan. Instead of calling him Otis, she called him by the name Susan as she dressed him as a woman. And in their family, there were a lot of incest and pedophiles both for men and women. So pretty much the same upbringing that Henry Lee Lucas had. Well, what takes place? Well, what takes place with these people is they get very angry at God. And they turn on God, they blame God, and now they wanna cause that harm to other people. Because the Bible says about people that it reprobates, they take pleasure in them that do them. Not only do they do these things, they want other people to do these same things. They get enjoyment out of it. You say, why? Because of the fact that probably happened to them and they get angry at God and they wanna cause the same harm to somebody else. It says here in this article, childhood trauma has also been linked to serial killers. Studies have revealed a number of significant statistics supporting the idea that mental and physical trauma may have long-lasting effects upon an individual. 42% of convicted serial killers suffer from physical abuse as children, 74% from psychological abuse. Sexual abuse also seemed to be a prominent characteristic among serial killers as 35% witnessed sexual abuse and 43% were sexually abused themselves. Now, let me just say this. I believe these statistics are far higher. And the reason why is cause your mind naturally will block out painful memories. And what often takes place is when someone has horrible things take place to them, their mind blocks it out so they forget about it. But then sometimes like a couple of decades later, something takes place that brings it back to memory and is like, oh, I remember being molested as a little child which they had completely forgotten about. And so although these statistics are pretty high, 42%, I mean, it's probably a lot higher than that. And a lot of those people blocked it out of their minds because they're blocking out what made them rebel on God and hate God, okay? Genesis 19, verse four. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compass the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter. When the Bible says there's old people, there's young people. You say, well, how old are we talking about? I mean, I think that they're pretty young because they're both small and great in this crowd, right? They're people that are probably less than 10 years old or amongst this group. At a young age, there are people that have already rebelled against God and turned on God, and people would look at that 10-year-old that's a reprobate and say, well, see, he must have been born that way. No, he must have had a really bad experience in Sodom and Gomorrah, and now he wants to cause the same harm to other people. That's the correct conclusion to come to. And they called on the lot and said unto him, Where are the men which came into thee this night? Bring them out unto us that we may know them. And Lot went out at the door unto them and shut the door after him and said, I pray you, brethren, do not sow wickedly. Go to 1 Timothy 4. Or another thing to look at is, you know what, if being a psychopath is not genetic, if you're not born a psychopath, why is it you often see two brothers in the same household being reprobates? Two brothers in the same household both being pedophiles? And they say, well, see, therefore, must be genetic. No, no, no, that's called the older brother molests the younger brother. And that younger brother also ends up hating God. Look, this is not the most pleasant thing to talk about, but this is a reality. And look, we live in a light version of modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah in 2022, here in the Philippines. There's no reason to, we're the only Christian country. Quit lying to yourself. I mean, other than maybe Thailand, in Asia, this is probably the number one LGBT country in all of Asia. I mean, it might be the highest percentage in the world of guys that dress like women. Let's just be realistic in our situation. Don't just put a blanket over your head like a little child and say, well, Mom and Dad can't see me. Right, it's like, no, they can. They know where you're at. Don't deny reality. I mean, realize, when this country is glorifying Vice Pangit and Mimi Yock and all those, girl, Ubuntu, it's like, yeah, you know what? This country's not hiding the fact we love and embrace the LGBT culture. Look, it is not the safest country in the Philippines to live in. Right, and I said this before, before I moved here. There are people that were trying to convince me not to move here, Filipinos that were living in America, and they were saying, hey, it's a very dangerous country. Now, here's the thing. They said it was a very dangerous country because President Duterte was killing drug dealers. Now, here's the thing. They're right, it's a dangerous country, but it's like, as you're telling me this and you're watching Vice Pangit on TV at the exact same time, you're missing the danger. I'm not doing drugs. I'm not out at three in the morning, but I'll tell you what, it's not the safest place for kids in 2022, right? This is the reality in the Philippines in 2022. It's not the safest place, and look, how is it there's all these kids that are sodomites in Sodom and Gomorrah? It's because the kids are not watching, or parents aren't watching them and the kids are being molested. Why do you think there's such a high percentage of the LGBT in the Philippines? Because no parental supervision and they're getting molested. It's not just at the Catholic church. It's at the school systems, it's at other churches. Even in Baptist churches that have junior church that have no real security for kids, it's taking place. It's a fact, and look, this is not the most pleasant thing to think about, but Genesis 19 is Bible. This is reality. Point number one, these serial killers were born with a conscience. They had a conscience. It's not a genetic thing. But what took place is because of a messed up childhood, they chose to turn on God. Now another thing to realize is this, because I preach on the reprobate doctrine from time to time, and it's kind of a newer doctrine to people that are not familiar with this type of church, because other Baptist churches, they say everybody's a child of the devil, which is not true, right? When someone first becomes a reprobate, they're not gonna immediately commit the most decrepit, disgusting acts immediately. There's a downward spiral, which we're gonna see later on, of getting worse and worse, but this is evident if you know anything about serial killers, and look, if you preach a sermon series on psychopaths, you have to actually study this a little bit, so honestly, I know some information that I probably wish I could get out now, right? But it's like when you look at people that are famous serial killers, they started by robbing houses, then they got a little bit more intense, then sexual assault towards women, then sexual assault toward men. I mean, it just got worse and worse and worse, so people that become serial killers, that's kind of the bottom of the barrel, meaning they probably started at a very young age of rebelling on God and became reprobates at a young age. It's not that when they were 25 years old, and it's possible to reject God at the age of 25, but it's very unlikely you become a serial killer, because that's way down the line. It's someone who at a young age had such a messed up childhood, they wanna cause the same trauma toward other people. They turn on God, and what takes place? Their conscience is seared, according to the Bible. First Timothy four, verse one. Now the spirits speak of the Presley that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron. You see, according to this verse, they had a conscience, and it was seared with a hot iron. It's not that they were born without a conscience. They were born with a conscience, but their conscience gets seared with a hot iron. Now, you know, it's up to you how literal or symbolic you wanna take this. I know that they say with psychopaths that if you actually take pictures of the brain, their frontal lobe looks different than a normal person. I don't know enough about that to give a dogmatic opinion, but what they'll say is the frontal lobe looks damaged. Well, maybe it got seared with a hot iron. I mean, maybe that God actually left a physical mark. I don't know that to be the case, but that is possible. Maybe that's true, right? But regardless of whether or not that's symbolic, regardless of whether you can actually take the conscience to a specific location or just it's within you completely or whatever, it gets removed by God. It gets seared with a hot iron, the Bible says. Why? Because they chose to turn on God. Go to Titus 1, Titus 1, Titus chapter 1. Titus 1, verse 15. The Bible says in Titus 1, verse 15, onto the pure all things are pure, but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure, but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God, but in works they deny him, being abominable and disobedient and onto every good work reprobate. See, the Bible says, you know what, there's people who are onto the pure, all things are pure, but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure, but even their mind and conscience is defiled. This is a reference to people that are reprobates here in the second part of verse 15. The Bible says their mind and conscience is defiled. So an event where we could have completely innocent and pure thoughts, they don't actually have pure and innocent thoughts like we would. Think of something completely innocent like a baby getting its diaper changed. Completely innocent. Nobody thinks anything of it. Babies are cute. They laugh, you know, everybody, but that's not the way a reprobate is actually going to look at the situation. Now you say, well, Brother Stuckey, I've never noticed them saying anything disturbing. Well, of course, because they're professional actors. See, they're better actors than, I don't know, Leonardo DiCaprio or whoever you want to say, because they've been doing it their whole life. Now, a lot of those professional actors are actually doing it, pro-acting in their personal life and because they're reprobates themselves. What I'm saying is, I mean, literally, people are training themselves when they become a reprobate to try to act normal because they don't want to make it obvious. They're not going to walk up to you and say, hey, I'm a serial killer. Just wanted to let you know, right? I mean, they're going to act like they're normal, right? So don't expect them to just make it extremely obvious. They're going to act normal people that are psychopaths. They're not going to blow their cover. They're going to try their best to act like normal people. Look, nobody knew that Ted Bundy was this psychopathic killer. Right? I mean, you see pictures of him. You know, he seems like a good looking guy, charming, intelligent guy. And then all of a sudden it turns out he's like one of the most decrepit humans in the history of the world. But nobody knew that. Everyone who knew him said he was such a nice guy. He was so charming. It's part of the act. He's a professional actor. Go in your Bible to Jeremiah 6, Jeremiah 6. Jeremiah chapter 6. Now what I said is that these people will act normal or act like a normal person would 95% of the time. Because they're training themselves to act normal. Right? They act normal 95% of the time. But every once in a while they will say something or do something where it's just like, what? And then of course they'll just kind of cover it up and just like make it into a joke or whatever. Try to make it seem like, oh, it's just a joke or whatever the situation or there's a misunderstanding or whatever. And it's like our natural reaction as normal people is when you see someone who basically does something really bizarre, you're just like, well, maybe he didn't really mean it like that. You kind of give the benefit of the doubt. But it's the same people that will slip up from time to time and they'll act like a normal person most of the time. And then all of a sudden they'll just do the exact opposite. And it doesn't fit because it's not what a normal person would do. And you think, well, this is what they're actually like. They just made a bad joke. So no, no, no, this is what they're actually like. You're actually getting to see what they're actually like. They actually accidentally let it be known what they're like. This is not what they're like. This is them acting, right? This is what the Bible teaches. Jeremiah 6, verse 30. Reprobate silver, so men call them, because the Lord hath rejected them. The Bible speaks about people that are reprobate. I mean, it's said in the verse we just looked at, unto every good work reprobate. What are these people? They're people who are rejected by God. Why? Why would God do that? Because they've already rejected God. They rejected God and they became vain in their imaginations and they hated God. And eventually it reached a point where it's just kind of like, okay, you're gonna have the curse of God in your life. You're gonna act like an animal. I mean, that's literally the curse of God to act like an animal. No conscience. They just go off instinct, whatever they desire. And it's like, they're literally acting like an animal. Don't let anybody tell you, well, you know what? We're similar to dogs. We're just further evolved. No, no, no, we're completely different than a dog. I mean, have you seen the things that dogs do? Have you seen the perversion? I mean, dogs, when they're in heat, they just do disturbing things. Guess what? That's what a reprobate does. I mean, and this is not something they're gonna make obvious like a dog does in public, but it's just like, it's the truth. This is what the Bible teaches, right? Turn your Bible to Romans 1. This is a tough subject for people to grasp because if you're not a reprobate, you're not gonna understand it because you don't think like they do. And this is one of those things you just gotta take for granted. Well, what does the Bible say? I'm gonna trust what the Bible says. I'm gonna believe what the Bible says because they're not gonna make it manifest right in front of you most of the time because they're a professional actor. They're gonna act like they're a normal person, but what's gonna eventually take place, we're actually gonna see verses on this, something's just not gonna match up with that person, right? Romans 1, verse 24. Wherefore God also gave them up, rejected them, gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts to dishonor their own bodies between themselves, who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator who is blessed forever, amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. What that's referring to in verse 26 is women with women doing unnatural sexual perversion with one another. Verse 27, and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lusts one toward another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving themselves that recompense of their error which was meat, and even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient. Go to Genesis chapter four, Genesis four. Now, there are things that I believe, if you study what the world says about psychopaths, they're actually things that are helpful to actually understand the topic. I personally think the 20 psychopathic traits are very useful as a Bible-believing Christian, and most of them you can easily match with the Bible. Every one you can at least indirectly match with what the Bible says about reprobates. Most of them, though, it's called the psychopathy checklist where basically you have these 20 traits and you get a zero, one, or two for each trait, and if I'm remembering this correctly, and basically they add up your score, and if it's over a certain amount, it's like a sure sign you're a reprobate, and if it's below, it's a sure sign you're not, and I'm gonna show you why biblically here in a second why this is actually accurate according to what the Bible says, but what you normally find is people are either like really high on this scale or like zero points. One point, two points, I mean, we're all sinners, but certain things that you would not expect a normal person to do, and what you find is people are either very high, like the high 30s, or like zero points, one point, two points. I mean, there's a dramatic gap, so rarely is there a question mark. Well, they're kind of borderline, right? I mean, so it's actually a pretty useful thing because what you find is people that are psychopaths, they exhibit pretty much all of those things. It ends up becoming manifest. Genesis 4, verse six, the Bible says this. And the Lord said unto Cain, why art thou wroth, and why is thy countenance fallen? Why are you so angry, Cain? Because I accepted Abel and I rejected you, right? Or I rejected the offering you gave me. Verse seven, if thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? Now ask yourself this question in verse seven when he says, if thou doest well, not if you had done well, but if thou doest well, you're gonna be accepted. Does that sound like he's a reprobate yet? No, he is not at this time, because he's still being given the option, if you do well, not if you had done well. No, no, if you do well, you're gonna be accepted, right? He's not rejected yet. And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. There's two options, right? And he says, and unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. And what it says there at the end of verse seven is, you know, here's the thing, if you do well, you're gonna be accepted, and you know what, you are gonna rule over your brother, Abel, if you do well. He's not a reprobate at this time. Why would he rule over his brother? He's the older brother, right? So he still has the option to do well, according to verse seven. However, there's the other one. If thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. You say, what is that referring to, Brother Stuckey? Well, think about analogies with salvation. Jesus said, I am the door, right? Who knows that verse? I am the door, right? What did Jesus mean by that? It means being saved is like opening a door. No work needed to be done, right? It's just like you just open the door, you're saved forever, eternal life. But here's the thing, there's also, symbolically speaking, a door to being a reprobate where people make that choice, and they reject God, and what he says is, here's the thing, you open up that door to being a reprobate, sin lieth on the other side of that door. What does that mean? It means your conscience is gonna be seared, and you're gonna be filled full of wickedness in everything it mentions in Romans 1. That's what the Bible's saying. But here's the thing, in verse seven, Cain is not a child of the devil. According to this, he's certainly not a child of the devil, because he could still do well and be accepted. So don't tell me psychopaths are born children of the devil. That is not what the Bible teaches, right? Verse eight, and Cain talked with Abel's brother, and it came to pass when they were in the field that Cain rose up against Abel's brother and slew him. So did Cain do well or do evil? He chose to do evil. Now go to 1 John 3. 1 John 3 is a very key chapter in the Bible for many reasons, but linking it with Genesis 4 is helpful to understand what's being talked about here. The Bible says in verse 10, in this the children of God are manifest and the children of the devil. Whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, and neither he that loveth not his brother. Now let me ask you a question. Is verse 10 a comparison between saved people and unsaved people? No. Is it a comparison between unsaved and children of the devil? No. It is a comparison between children of God and children of the devil. The saved and the reprobate. Most people in this world are neither, right? Most people in this world are not saved, but they're not reprobate. This in verse 10 is a comparison between saved people and reprobates, people that have opened a door, right? The door to salvation or the door to being a reprobate. This is the comparison in verse 10. Well, what the Bible says is, you know what? In this, the children of God are manifest. What does manifest mean? Manifest means seen. When we go sowing and we get somebody saved, we don't see them just shine a bright light, right? We don't see them physically change. We don't see anything there. But if you're around people that are saved people and you compare them to people that are children of the devil, what the Bible's saying is actually their actions will be manifest because this is referring to works in verse 10. The key is it's not a comparison between saved and unsaved, which people try to make this out to be. It's from saved people and reprobates. You say, what does that mean exactly? Here's what it means. The Bible is written to save people, right? A lot of things I preach, the unsaved world, they're like, you know, why are you preaching about this? Right, unity within the church means nothing to someone who's not in church, right? It means something to us that are in church. And what the Bible's saying is, you know what? I'm actually gonna give you a way to kind of find out if someone's a child of the devil. Now I want you to realize two plus three equals five is not how simple this is. But the Bible is saying you can judge people that are children of God versus children of the devil by their actions. Now here's the thing. At our church, which is very clear on salvation, you know what, people will claim the right message of salvation. And of course, I believe most people here are saved for sure. The vast majority of people are saved. But here's the thing. If somebody's at our church for years and they go soul winning with us every week and they say the right words, is it really possible for that person to be an unsaved person but not a child of the devil? No. Because if they're going soul winning for five years and saying something they don't believe, they're obviously just doing their acting door to door. And what the Bible's saying is, now wait a minute, you can actually look at these people and you can see based on their actions. Now don't misunderstand what I'm saying. At our church, in the past, we have kicked people out of our church. I do not believe that everybody we kicked out was a child of the devil. I believe some of those people we're gonna see again in heaven. But I do believe some of them that we kicked out are children of the devil. There are people that I would say personally for sure, there's no question. You say, well, Brother Stuckey, how could you say that? You don't know they're hurt, but I know their actions. And when they're doing unnatural, wicked, evil things, I don't care how smooth of a talker they are, they've made it manifest through their actions what they are. And you can't be naive about this. I mean, you see these people, 95% of the time, they seem like the greatest Christian in the world, and then all of a sudden, they make the most inappropriate joke. You're like, what in the world? Or they're stealing just like tons of money from people. They're like going after people less than half their age and it's like, what is wrong with this person? And it's just like you say, Brother Stuckey, it's just like, well, how can you judge? I can judge because of 1 John 3.10. And you know what, you, and I've said before, as a church member, you have the benefit of being a bit naive. I don't have that benefit because I've gotta be the judge, jury, and executioner of cases when it comes to this. And you can disagree with me, that's fine, but I'll tell you what, just because somebody says the right thing about salvation, that's not a good defense, because Judas Iscariot would've been innocent by your book. Well, yeah, he killed Jesus, but I heard him preach the gospel. Wow, great defense he got there. Look, as I said, I don't believe everyone we've kicked out of this church was a reprobate, nor do I know for certain with various people, nor is it something I'm gonna stay up at night and think about. That's not the point. My point is this, that when you see people that seem to be just nice, normal people, and then all of a sudden, 5% of the time, it's like the most bizarre thing, because they're not doing a very good job acting at that moment, you can't be naive. You gotta be like, wow, red flag, that does not make sense. Because people, and we're talking about serial killers in this sermon, but let me explain this. When you look at famous serial killers, this is what they'll say about them. Yeah, you know what, in hindsight, they were like the nicest person, but there were a couple times they did something that was really bizarre to me. Right, and it's just like your natural reaction is to just give the benefit of the doubt, and that's my natural reaction. Because it is possible, maybe they just weren't thinking. Maybe they just said something they didn't mean or whatever, but it's actually like, no, no, no, no, they're actually showing what they're actually like. Go in your Bible to 2 Timothy, actually no, look at verse 11, verse 11. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother, wherefore slew him, because his own works were evil and his brother's righteous. And what the Bible says here is Cain, the actions that he made to manifest was he murdered someone. Now, is it possible for a saved person to kill somebody? Yes, it is. However, if somebody is a murderer, they're much more likely to be a reprobate than if they're not a murderer. Right, I understand we defend salvation and I defend salvation very zealously, but you have to understand that it's not like, well, a psychopath just acts like everybody else. It's like, no, no, no, no, when somebody's doing a lot of terrible things, it makes it more likely they just don't have a conscience. Because here's the thing, when you do something wrong, you feel guilty. Look, all of us have lied before. And if you say, Brother Succy, I've never lied, you are a liar, my friend. You're lying to me right now. Here's the thing, you know what? We tell small lies sometimes and we feel guilty about it. Even on something that's not even that big of a deal, somebody asks you something and then you lie about it and then the conscience gets you, right? It's like, man, I feel guilty. And you feel terrible and sometimes it just stays in your mind for a long time, for hours you feel bad because you told a lie. Well, here's the thing though, if you have no conscience, you would just tell the lie and not feel bad about it. So what's gonna take place? You're just gonna lie all the time. You're gonna be of your father, the devil, who was a liar from the beginning and abode not in the truth, the Bible says. Go to 2 Timothy 3, 2 Timothy 3. Look, people like Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, make no mistake about it, they were bad people. It's not just, wow, they killed people. Look, actually their works would have made it manifest what they were if you actually pay attention to them. Things that just would not match with these people. Now look, as I said, I might have watched one of the movies of Halloween a long time ago. If I did, I think it was when I was in high school, which was before I was saved, but if so, I don't really remember, because I never really liked horror movies. I don't really understand how you find gratification in people going around killing people, but it's like a common movie series. And it's just like, you watch movies like that, and look, I don't know what the plot is, but I guarantee you it's not gonna be accurate. The problem is people form their beliefs based on what Hollywood says or what the news says or whatever says, rather than just forming it based on what the Bible says. Because oftentimes in these movies, they'll make these people out to be like, well, it's just because they're crazy. It's not their fault. No, here's what's scary. Serial killers are not crazy. They're completely sane. They're not out of their minds. They just desire very different things in a normal person. That's what's so scary about it. Because the fact, it's not that they're just crazy. It's not that they got one too many concussions, boxing or whatever. It's like, no, no, no, no, no. They're just bad people. But they're not crazy. They're doing things with a clear purpose. They're not just acting insane. That's what is so scary about these sorts of people. Second Timothy three, verse seven. Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, now as Janus and Jamborees withstood Moses, so did these also resist the truth. Men of corrupt minds reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further, for their folly shall be made manifest, shall be manifest unto all men as theirs also was. Once again, their folly's gonna be made manifest. It's going to be revealed. Now, did Judas Iscariot fool the people around him for three years? Yeah, you know what? He fooled the people around him for three years, but it eventually came out. But here's the thing. He actually made it manifest in those three years as well if you pay attention, right? Because he's the one who causes division. When you cross-reference between the gospels, I don't wanna go on too big of a rabbit trail, but he's the one who's criticizing how money is used, and you think, well, it's just because he's so godly, he wants to use the money for missionary work. No, no, no, the Bible says it's because he's a thief. He was making it manifest. It's just subtle. You gotta actually pay attention to what the Bible's saying and what these people do. Point number one, people are born with a conscience. Point two, people turn on God. This is why they become these decrepit serial killers and bad people. Point three, their conscience eventually gets seared. They were born with a conscience, but as they turn on God, they can reach the point where they're rejected. Because look, when you look at people like this, people that are the Jeffrey Dahmers, it's like you look at them, and you're like, what's wrong with that person? Why would they do things like that, right? Well, the Bible does not leave us in the dark about it. It doesn't go into gruesome detail about serial killers. Neither am I in this sermon. But what the Bible's saying is, well, this is what took place to them. It's not that they were born without a conscience. It's that it was seared as they turned on God, and then their conscience was seared. And what the Bible teaches is they become worse and worse after their conscience is seared. 2 Timothy 3, verse 13. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. They get worse and worse and worse and worse and worse until the day they go to hell forever. Go to Romans 1. We'll look at just two more places. Romans 1. Romans 1. This is the reason why there's no reason to try to reform these people. They're not gonna change. I mean, even people that study psychopathy, you know, from the world's perspective on this, they will say it seems like there's no hope for these people. They've been trying for years and years, but it's kinda like, man, I was studying this to hope to come to the answer to this, but it seems like they're without hope. It seems like there's no cure for them. It seems like there's nothing you can do. Well, you know what, you're right. There is nothing you can do. Your conscience can be seared. It can't be un-seared, though. Now look, don't misunderstand me. As a saved person, this could never happen to you. Once you're saved, you have eternal life. But to the un-saved person, they can choose to make that decision where their conscience is seared, and there is no turning back. Right, now for us, it's like I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back. For them, it's like I've decided to reject Jesus, no turning back, because sin lieth at the door when you open up that door. There's no turning back from it. There's no way to fix these people. Romans 1, verse 29. It says, being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whispers. Bible says these people are full of murder, full of murder. Is it possible for a saved person to commit murder? It is possible. In fact, in the Bible, you do see it. However, they're not full of murder. And of course, that would be a rare thing anyway. Very few people kill anybody as it is anyway. But these people are full of murder. Backbiters, haters of God, they hate God. Look, I've never hated God in my life. Have I been upset before? Like I thought, man, why didn't I get that job or whatever? Yeah, but you know what? I've never hated God. But the Bible says these people hate God. Now, one thing you should not misunderstand, somebody could say they believe in God and be a reprobate. And they could mean it when they say they believe in God. But here's the thing, they hate the God of the Bible. Do you understand the difference? There's reprobates that come from all over the world. But here's the thing. Those people, they hate the God of the Bible. They hate the rules and the laws of the Bible. There are religious people for sure that are reprobates, but what they hate is the God of the Bible, the true God. Because there is only one God, right? Haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things. Inventors of evil things, one thing that comes to my mind is during the dark ages, the Catholic church came up with these various torture techniques. And I remember seeing the video maybe three years ago, somebody linked it, and you know, INC made a video on like 10 torture techniques of the Catholic church or whatever. Literally other than the two that I had heard of before, the other eight, and you know, you just get desensitized because being crucified is actually pretty gruesome, but it's like, well, you've heard it so much, it doesn't feel as gruesome. I mean, in Pampanga, you see it during Easter time. So it's kind of like, right? But the other torture techniques, it's like, that thought wouldn't even enter into my mind. It's like, who would come up with this? Like they invent evil, they invent disturbing things. That's not the only application, but that is one application, inventors of evil things. Disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful. On a side point, you know, the second sermon's gonna be a edifying sermon, it is Children's Day. Let me just say this, disobedient to parents. Hey parents, teach your kids to be obedient at a young age. Because that's kind of low on the scale of, you know, the evil things that are coming forth, but what the Bible says is, disobedient to parents. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, so they do these things that they know are considered evil by at least the God of the Bible, but have pleasure in them that do them. It's not just that they enjoy doing these things, they enjoy other people doing these things. You say, what are you saying, Brother Stuckey? Here's what I'm saying. If you pick up the newspaper, and it reads tomorrow, there's people at our church that live very close to this church, murder on Kaganhwa on the streets. And it was like one of your neighbors. You're gonna be horrified. You're gonna know that person, whether they're saved or unsaved, you're gonna feel horrible that that person died. A reprobate, if they read that, would be happy. Now here's the thing, are they gonna make it obvious that they're happy? Well, no, because they're an actor. But if you literally take what the Bible says, they have pleasure in those things happening. I mean, the reaction they're gonna probably give is, that's horrible. And honestly, they'll probably be a little bit over the top with it, where they're a little bit too sympathetic, like it's not actually appropriate. But the reality is, they are gonna actually enjoy that. Why? Because they take pleasure in this. Look, guys like Jeffrey Dahmer and these serial killers were saying, not only do they commit these crimes, they enjoy it when other people commit those crimes too. They enjoy that. People that are pedophiles, they're happy when other children are molested. I mean, it's a fact. I mean, it's a scary thing, but and look, are we talking about a large percentage of the population? Well, according to these statistics, they say 1%. I mean, let me just be honest with you. In the Philippines, it's a lot higher than 1%. Right. Because what they don't understand is this LGBT culture is a byproduct of being rejected. Sexual perversion is a byproduct. It's a lot higher than 1% in our country. Now, that does not mean that most of those people are gonna commit murder, because as I said, that's very down the list of being decrepit and messed up. But it does mean that they have no remorse for their actions. It means they would have no problem, I mean, if they had the option. I mean, this is, if you take the Bible literally, and you understand this, if someone like that had the option, someone who's a reprobate, to get a million dollars, and all they had to do was commit murder, and they knew they would not get caught, they would instantly do it. Why? Because they don't have remorse for their actions. You say, well, what stops them from all becoming serial killers? Because they don't want to go to jail. They don't want to get caught. They're afraid of getting caught. But they have no remorse for doing it. They have no problem with doing it. Right? Go to Proverbs 22. Proverbs 22. You say, well, Brother Succy, why is it you said these people, they start with robbing houses and things like that if you look at people that are famous serial killers? Because the first time you rob a house, and you're like, oh man, I might get caught, I might get caught. Then nothing happens, and you get more confident, and you start doing worse and worse and worse things. That's the reason why. That's why they don't just start with something that's really horrible. They start by robbing a house, and then they get worse and worse. One example of this, and he was, as far as I know, the most prolific serial killer that was not caught as of four or five years ago, was the Golden State Killer, which I've mentioned a few times, and he was living in Sacramento when my family was living in Sacramento. Now, thankfully, it's not a small city. There's a lot of people, so it makes it less likely. It's your next door neighbor. But it's just like the most prolific serial killer is the Golden State Killer. He was living in Sacramento when we were living in Sacramento five years ago. Well, this man, earlier in his life, he started with robbing houses, and then he started to do sexual assault towards women, and then it just got worse and worse and worse and worse. The reason why he got caught is because of DNA evidence, modern-day DNA evidence from something a long time ago, where before, he was easily able to get away with it. Now, the reason why often serial killers are able to get away with these crimes is because, as I said, they don't react in the same way as other people. So if a normal person committed a crime like that, they would get really worried they'd get caught, and they'd make a mistake covering up the crime, whereas they're not like that, so they're like a cold-blooded killer, as the expression would be. And they actually plan this out, so it's like, unfortunately, they can oftentimes get away with these horrible crimes. The other reason is this, that oftentimes, when they do get caught, they just talk their way out of it. And this is literal. I mean, the three biggest serial killers that I know by name and history, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, they all did this. Jeffrey Dahmer was literally caught with this kid that, you know, he had, because he gave them a lobotomy, you know, he was doing all kinds of bizarre stuff, and these neighbors, you know, he was caught on the street, and the neighbors told the police as they're going by, they said, hey, this man is a killer. It's like, you gotta protect this kid. And there were several ladies that said that. He talked his way out of it. And he said, no, no, no, we're just homosexual lovers that got into a fight. And literally, they caught him, and they let him get away, and then he killed several more people. It's like he just smooth talked his way out of it. John Wayne Gacy, they knocked on his house. They're like, you know, the neighbor said, we heard all these noises at the house. There was all these screams. And he's like, I don't know what they're talking about. And he's like, yeah, you can look around here, look around here. I mean, when you go to the same house several times in a week, and different neighbors, it's like, talk about being Bobo, but they just smooth talked their way out of it. And I don't wanna say anything more, because I don't wanna go too gruesome, but that's reality, because they're able to get away with it because they're charming. A couple examples of what we're talking about getting worse and worse, who knows the name Charles Manson by name? I've mentioned that before, he's not the most common name. All right, Brother Matthias, God bless that hand. So he's, in some ways, he's the most famous serial killer in US history, but he's not really a serial killer because he never killed anyone, but he convinced other people to kill for him. And he was actually the most prominent man in the world that said he was Jesus Christ at one time. He said he was Jesus Christ. And so he had a flock of disciples, and he said he was Jesus Christ reincarnated. He was the Apollo Kibbeloy of his day, right? He said he was Jesus Christ reincarnated. And he convinced his followers to basically commit these murders for him. And so it became major news because a celebrity was killed. And so it became major news like 50, 60 years ago. But here's the thing, this guy at a young age, as a teenager, was arrested several times for homosexuality when that used to be a crime. And of course, well, he's not 18 years old. He might change, is what they said. And one of the times he was arrested, he was assaulting a young boy with a weapon in that way. So it's like, but he was only like 16 or 17 years old. We can't try him as an adult because he's not 18 yet. See, this is how foolish the world is. Why do they think that? Well, they think that they can get better. No, no, they don't get better and better with a pill. They get worse and worse. They're never going to change. Now, what people would say is, but wait a minute, Brother Stuckey, here's the hole in your theory. Why is it that a lot of serial killers stop killing? And here's the thing, that's actually a fact. Many serial killers stop killing. So why is it if they get worse and worse, they quit doing it? Because they no longer have enjoyment in it. So they go down some other road of disturbing. Because they no longer get any sensation because they've done it so many times. And look, many serial killers, they literally did stop killing because they no longer found enjoyment for it. But see, you can look at a guy like the Golden State Killer and yeah, he stopped killing. Plus they get older, they're not as able to do it as they used to. But yet he would still call his victims from 20 years ago and just kind of mock them. So it's like, okay, yeah, he really changed, right? Let's see, Jeffrey Dahmer, when he got caught, he uttered the words, for what I did, I should be dead. Immediately when he's caught, he said, for what I did, I should be dead. Boy, he sounded really remorseful. Or maybe he just wants to get a light prison sentence. Maybe he didn't want to get the death penalty. But he became a Christian in jail. You're insane and you don't know your Bible. Jeffrey Dahmer did not get saved in prison. Number one, it was a Church of Christ preacher that preached to him. It wasn't a fundamental Baptist that preached the gospel. But you say, well, yeah, every serial killer literally gets saved in jail because they want a light prison sentence. Literally every single one that I'm aware of pretty much ends up getting saved in prison. You say, why? Because if you say you're a born-again Christian, oh, you're gonna have this magic change now. And then people are gullible enough to fall for that. No, no, the Bible says they get worse and worse. They never make any changes. You say, okay, Brother Stuckey, what can we take away from this sermon? Now, as I said, the first sermon on Children's Day is against the Halloween sort of stuff. Last year against voodoo, this year against serial killers. And you get upset at this sermon, let me just say, well, I'm not the one who named a movie series Halloween about a serial killer, okay? So it is what it is. But what can we take away as normal people? Go to Proverbs 22, Proverbs 22. Because I'm assuming, I hope, nobody is or will become a serial killer in this room. I hope, right, as far as I know. So how does this apply to us? Because probably most likely you're never gonna have a neighbor that's even a murderer, much less a serial killer. But aren't there a lot of people in this room that have young children? Say, what can I take away? Well, you know, it's a dangerous world in 2022. Let me say, number one, there's a reason why there's a death penalty. You say, Brother Stuckey, I don't believe in the death penalty. Well, you don't understand the Bible then. Right. Number one, there's a death penalty in the Bible for many things. And number two, there's a necessity for the death penalty because there are people that are not gonna change. Right. A second thing we could take away is we need to get kids saved at a young age. Because here's the thing, these people that we mentioned, they had the most messed up childhoods ever. I mean, the ones that I mentioned, being dressed up as girls and being forced to make money in sexual perversion as a little kid, it's like no wonder they chose to turn on God. But here's the reality, there are a lot of kids, I'm sure we've knocked on the doors of many people, kids that are being molested either at school or at their church or even by family. This takes place in this world. But here's the thing, at a young age, before they rejected God, if we come to them with the gospel, they could believe on Christ and not turn on God. I am very thankful I had a nice childhood. I never had anything like that happen to me. But at the same time, it happens to a lot of people, unfortunately. And unfortunately, although kids naturally love and are thankful for the gift of life and the small things in life, unfortunately, kids like this, they can often get mad at God and rebel at God because of what took place. But you know what, we can still reach them and preach the gospel to them when we walk by them on the street. I mean, we go soul winning, and we run by, a lot of kids are just running around, and I understand at a young age, sometimes it's hard for them to pay attention and get saved, but we see eight-year-olds, nine-year-olds, 10-year-olds, 11-year-olds get saved, and we can reach them before they reach this point of getting mad at God. Notice what it says in Proverbs 22, verse six. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Bible says that if we train up a child in the correct way, when they get older, they will not depart from the truth. And the bottom line is, it is our job as parents to train and take care of our children. And the biggest takeaway I can have as a parent of young children is this, we need to make sure we keep our kids safe in 2022. You know what, people tell me of the days where, well, when I was younger, we used to just leave the front door unlocked, you know, we left the keys inside the car and didn't lock it because we didn't wanna risk losing our keys. It's like, in 2022, you're gonna lose your car. You're not gonna lose your keys. I mean, you leave your keys inside the car running, it's like, you're gonna lose your car. It's like, maybe there was a day when things were safe and there wasn't all this violence. That is not the world we live in in 2022. It is a scary place in 2022 and it is a scary place with young children. Now, do I believe that God is gonna help protect our kids? Absolutely. But I also believe as parents, it is our job to do the best we possibly can to try to ensure that they are safe. You say, why? Because it is a dangerous world. And I'll tell you what, I get it, you know what, people, you know, we often naturally wanna trust other people, but you know what, things like this are happening to kids from other family members, uncles, aunts, cousins at the school system, right? I'm not saying at church it often takes place. I'm not saying that you don't trust anybody in this life, but I'm just saying, you know what, don't be naive. You gotta be very careful, don't just automatically, you know, my wife and I, there are certain members of her family that we would trust around our children. There are certain members that we would not. But they're all family, you should trust all of them. Well, you can do whatever you want with your kids. That's not what I'm gonna do with my kids. You say, why? Because of the world we live in. It's not a safe thing to do with your kids. You need to be wise. Let's close in word of prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing us to be here today and getting to see your word on this topic and help us to understand all topics in the Bible, even ones that are not necessarily the most pleasant to think about. Help us to be aware of the things happening in this world, God. Ask you just to continue to bless our church and bless the families and the kids at our church, God. We pray this in Jesus' name, amen. All right, take out your hymnal. And 390. Have I done my best for Jesus? 390. ["Hymn for Jesus"] 390, have I done my best for Jesus? 390, have I done my best for Jesus? 390. 390, have I done my best for Jesus? On the first. I wonder have I done my best for Jesus. Who died upon the bluebell tree? To think of his great sacrifice and Calvary. I know all the respects he'll bless from me. How many are the lost that I have been fed? How many are the chained, the tall, too free? I wonder have I done my best for Jesus when he has done so much for me? The odds that I have wasted are so many. We are all loves and we're blessed, too. Because of all my lack of God for Jesus, I wonder if his heart is breaking, too. How many are the lost that I have been dead? How many are the chained, the tall, too free? I wonder have I done my best for Jesus when he has done so much for me? I wonder have I given up for mother? Lord, have I let them lie alert? I might have left a wonder to the same old. But I see the precious life I might have stored. How many are the lost that I have been dead? How many are the chained, the tall, too free? I wonder have I done my best for Jesus when he has done so much for me? How long will I stay with people like me? How can the mountain heights have hung? The blood is dying down the walls of someone. Turns down and all the saints match the stone. How many are the lost that I have been dead? How many are the chained, the tall, too free? I wonder have I done my best for Jesus when he has done so much for me? I'm gonna ask our brother Franklin to be close to some prayer. For those who have come to come to us, especially to pray to Jesus' sacrifice andARmillion. Yes, let's pray, amen. Now I will praise you all. Amen. Amen. you
