It's time to take our offering. It's time to take our offering. It's time to take our offering. It's time to take our offering. It's time to take our offering. It's time to take our offering. It's time to take our offering. It's time to take our offering. It's time to take our offering. It's time to take our offering. Amen. Amen, for scripture reading, please open your Bibles to the book of Psalm. Psalm 93, Psalm 93. Right in the middle of your Bible, you would open your Bibles in the middle. You'll find Psalm 93, please say amen if you're there. Amen. And as our custom, we will be reading the entire chapter, Psalm 92. Psalm 92, verse 1. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praise unto thy name, O Most High, to show forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery, upon the harp with the solemn sound, for thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work, I will triumph in the works of thy hands. O Lord, how great are thy works, and thy thoughts are very deep. A brutish man knoweth not, neither does a fool understand this. When the wicked spring is a grass, and when all the works of iniquity do flourish, it is that they shall be destroyed forever. But thou, Lord, art Most High forevermore. For lo, thine eyes, O Lord, for lo, thine enemies shall perish. All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. That my horn shall thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn, I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Mine eye also shall see my desire in mine enemies, and mine ear shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age, they shall be fat and flourishing. To show that the Lord is upright, he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Blessed be the name of God's word, let us pray. Lord God in heaven, we thank you, Lord, for this day that you have given to us, and I pray that you will give us good weather and a good day, Lord, for our soul winning and fellowship later on. I pray, O Lord, that you will bless the preacher and the preaching of your word, Lord, this day. We love you. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. All right, we are here in Psalm 92, and the name of the sermon is Mythical Creatures of the Bible. Mythical Creatures of the Bible. Now, of course, we don't believe any creatures are fake, right? We don't believe any creatures are mythical, but there are certain creatures that are mentioned in the Bible in certain animals that the world would mock the Bible. They'd say, well, you guys believe in dragons and unicorns, and sometimes there's kind of a new Christian who, you know, hasn't read the Bible, and someone shows him a verse about a unicorn. It's like, well, you guys believe in unicorns. No, we don't. And then all of a sudden they show him the verse on unicorn, and then the Christian's like, oh, they don't even know what to say, right? Now, our verse of the week mentioned the unicorn, right? Now, let me say a couple things about this. We'll go through the seven big animals or creatures that are really kind of used to mock the Bible or criticize it. Let me just say a couple things about this as we start. Number one, there are a lot of animals that used to exist that do not exist now because they're extinct. I mean, every single year hundreds and hundreds of species, and some say up to 2,000 species, become extinct. So just because something does not exist today does not mean it's never existed. Another thing to consider is a large part of this world is completely uninhabited by people, right? And where people are, animals are not because they are in fear of humans. And so there's many parts of the ocean, many parts of the jungle that are undiscovered. There could very well be some of these animals or a lot of strange creatures that the world has no idea about. Every once in a while there'll be some giant sea monster that basically dies and is washed up on the beach, and they're like, what is this thing, right? Because they've never heard of it, they don't know what it is, but it's some sort of massive creature. And so, look, just because you haven't seen it with your own eyes does not mean that it does not exist. Now, the first animal I want to look at is the unicorn. Notice what it says in Psalm 92, verse 10. Look, there's no indication in this verse that this is a fake creature. The Bible clearly says the horn of a unicorn. And, look, just a few verses later it talks about the importance of dwelling in church, how you'll bring forth fruit in old age, and Baptists would preach that and say, amen. Well, we can't shy away from a couple of verses earlier. It is also the word of God, right? The Bible says the horn of a unicorn. The word unicorn appears nine times in our King James Bible. Now, turn to Numbers 23. Now, here's a definition I found online of a unicorn. It says the unicorn is a legendary creature that has been described since antiquity as a beast with a single, large, pointed, spiraling horn projecting from its forehead. So, of course, a lot of kids, they love unicorns, right? They'll have the stuffed animal or the book bag or something like that. And, you know, young kids especially love this creature and everything like that. But let me just say this, that whenever we're trying to figure out what something is, our first source of knowledge is what? The word of God, right? And here's what I would say, that when you look up various animals in the Bible, they represent different things. For example, if you think about the ant, what does an ant represent? Hard work, right? Isn't that what the Bible says? Go to the ant, thou sluggard, right? When we see an ant, it shows us and it reminds us we need to work hard. You say, why? Because ants have drank like 20 cups of coffee every day. They're always just like moving around. It's like, man, just calm down a little bit. But they work very hard, right? Or, for example, the eagle in the Bible represents an animal that just kind of effortlessly goes through the air kind of explaining how we can not grow weary in the Christian life and keep serving God until the day we die. So certain animals represent different things, and the unicorn represents something very specific, okay? So we're trying to figure out what is this unicorn, what does the Bible say? Numbers 23, verse 22. God brought them out of Egypt, Numbers 23, verse 22. God brought them out of Egypt, he hath, as it were, the strength of an unicorn. Go to Numbers 24, Numbers 24, Numbers 24. Numbers 24, verse 8. God brought him forth out of Egypt, he hath, as it were, the strength of an unicorn, right? And I'm not going to go there for the sake of time, but if you remember the end of the book of Job, there's these giant creatures which we'll look at later on in the sermon, Leviathan and Behemoth. But in chapter 39 of Job, it talks about the great strength of an unicorn. Now let me ask you a question. When kids have this little stuffed animal of this unicorn, when you see that animal, do you think, what a strong animal that is? That's not what I think. I mean, that animal would get torn apart in the jungle pretty quickly, right? You would not say that is a strong animal. So here's what I'm going to tell you. The unicorn that's mentioned in the Bible is not the picture that you're thinking of what people say is a unicorn. That's not a strong animal, right? You say, well, Brother Stuckey, what is this animal? Well, it's kind of funny because yesterday when I just opened up the sermon, somebody told me afterwards, right when you're explaining a strong animal with horns, it dawned on me it's a rhinoceros, isn't it? I was like, you are right. A unicorn is a one-horned rhinoceros, and I'm going to prove that to you. Number one, we look at the Bible as our source of knowledge. We're looking at a really strong animal. Does a rhino fit with a really strong animal? Absolutely. I look at it as the baddest, toughest animal, pound for pound, that there is. Now, some bugs are pretty crazy, and if they were huge, they'd be pretty dangerous. But in terms of like real animals or big animals, not insects, a rhino is like the toughest, baddest animal that there is, right? But let me give you some other proofs of this. Let's go to the dictionary. The 1828 definition of rhinoceros from the Webster's dictionary. And the Webster's dictionary is the most famous dictionary, no question. So in 1828, this is what it says about the rhinoceros. A genus of quadrupeds of two species, one of which, the unicorn, has a single horn growing almost erect from the nose. So the definition of a rhinoceros in the 1828 dictionary was, well, a one-horned one is a unicorn. Now, I don't know where we get this modern-day unicorn that's just kind of fanciful that you see in movies and TV shows or whatever, but according to the dictionary, less than 200 years ago, if you said a unicorn, everybody would know, oh, it's a rhinoceros. Right? It's a one-horned rhinoceros. Now, of course, I always had this image of rhinos as being two-horned. I didn't actually have an idea that there could be one-horned rhinos because in America, if you see rhinos at the zoo, they have two horns. But actually, you know, throughout history, the one-horned rhinoceros was actually the dominant one. There are one horn, two horn, and even some rhinos with no horns in history, but this is an animal that has largely become extinct because the horns are very valuable, so they've been killed off, and many of the species of rhinos do not exist today. But in 1828, when you said unicorn, people would know, hey, it's a rhino with one horn. Of course, back then, people believed the Bible, so they used the Bible as their main reference, so it would be easy to remember. But nowadays, if you say unicorn, nobody's going to say rhino, right? No one's even heard of that. But the dictionary in 1828 says a one-horned rhinoceros is a unicorn. Also, in today's world, there are basically five species of rhinos left, and four of those species are two horns. One species is one horn. This is known as the Indian rhino, okay? It's native to the country of India. Now, of course, whenever you have a name of an animal, there's the name that everybody knows, Indian rhino, and then there's this scientific name that nobody can pronounce, right? It's always true in science and the medical industry. There's something everybody knows, and there's a technical term that's got 50 letters. It's like, what is this, right? So we know it as the Indian rhino, but here's what it says about the Indian rhino. The Indian rhinoceros, parentheses, here's the scientific name, rhinoceros unicornis. I mean, it's just obvious. A unicorn is a rhino. The one-horned rhino that exists in India, the scientific name has unicorn in the name. The dictionary says a one-horned rhino is a unicorn, right? This is one, and you can disagree with me all you want. This one's just obvious. When you look it up, the Bible's just super clear. This is actually a creature that does exist today. It is becoming more extinct, though, because just 50 years ago or so, there was only a couple thousand rhinos with one horn left because they've gotten hunted. I think there are 27,000 left, but it's an animal where basically the horn is very valuable, so poachers will kill that animal to take the horn and everything like that. But just looking at the dictionary, the scientific name, the biblical definition, I mean, a unicorn is just a rhino with one horn. One other piece of information. Nowadays, scientists actually say that, you know what, we've discovered the unicorn is not a fake animal. It's actually a real animal, and this also has a scientific name, elasmotherium sibericum, which is the Siberian rhino. I don't know how to pronounce this. But they say that we've discovered this animal, and this is the unicorn. It's not this horse with a horn. It's actually this one creature. I don't know why they don't consider the Indian rhino a unicorn since that's in the name, but this Siberian rhino, if the pictures are accurate, this is like the baddest animal that ever existed. I mean, this horn is like 30 feet long, and the animal is like twice the size of a normal rhino, and it's really hairy, kind of like a mammoth is to an elephant. And I mean, this is a tough-looking creature. I mean, it would kill an elephant just by spearing it with its horn. I mean, it's a beast, right? And so they say that, you know what, the unicorn is actually real, but it's not this horse or this pony with this ice cream cone sticking out of its head. It's actually a rhinoceros that has become extinct, right? And I agree with them. Go to Deuteronomy 32. Now, of course, the question would come up, has a creature that looks like a modern-day unicorn, the pictures you see, has that creature ever existed? And you know what, I cannot tell you yes or no because I don't know for sure. My opinion would be no, and I'll give you my reason why I don't believe a creature like that's ever existed. Think about our church. We are a body of Christ, a local body, and every member or every part of that church body has a valuable function. Nobody is useless. Everybody has a function, right? Now, of course, it's up to you if you perform that function, but you have a purpose for being here, that God has placed you in this church. Well, the same thing is true with our physical bodies. Every part of our body has a purpose. I don't know the purpose of every part of my body, but I'm sure every part does have a purpose. Now, in evolution, they talk about vestigial organs, and what they say is there's basically animals that have evolved, and now they have body parts that are useless. I don't believe that because I believe every part of your body has a use that God specifically made. Here's the reason why I don't believe this modern-day unicorn ever existed because I really don't see what the purpose of that ice cream cone sticking out of its head would be. For a rhinoceros, it makes sense. It uses it to fight. I mean, for like a pony or a horse that's eating grass or whatever, I just don't really see what the purpose would be. I mean, it's possible a horse with the horns existed in the past. I would just say probably no because I wouldn't understand the purpose, but maybe there would be a purpose. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would say this. Biblically speaking, if you say unicorn, what is it talking about? It's just a one-horn rhino. Anyway, I've had people tell me before, well, you guys believe in unicorns, right? Anyway, these are people you don't want to debate with, but they always annoy you. These atheists that mock the Bible and in your flesh you want to make them look like an idiot, well, here's your chance, right? You can explain what a unicorn actually is and say, haven't you ever heard of an Indian rhino? You don't know the scientific name? What's wrong with you? Haven't you ever read a dictionary? Have you ever looked up rhino in a dictionary? It doesn't look bad, okay? But I'm not advocating debating for 45 minutes out soul winning, but I'm just saying we've all been in the flesh before. I've been around evolutionists, and I understand, right? So number one, we looked at unicorns. A unicorn is simply a one-horn rhino. I think it's pretty clear. The next creature I want to talk about is the dragon. The dragon is mentioned 34 times in the Bible. Here's what it says from an article about a dragon. It's a mythical monster like a giant reptile. In European tradition, the dragon is typically fire-breathing and tends to symbolize chaos or evil, whereas in East Asia it is usually a beneficial symbol of fertility associated with water and the heavens. So of course everybody knows what a dragon is, or at least what we hear about dragons. Kids love dragons. They're interesting animals. They fly, they breathe fire, things such as that. So let's just see what the Bible says about this creature, the dragon, okay? It says in Deuteronomy 32 verse 33, Deuteronomy 32 verse 33, their wine is the poison of dragons and the cruel venom of asps. Now, an asp is a type of snake. Venom is poisonous. So the venom of asps, poison of dragons, what I would say is the dragon is a serpent-like creature, right? Because it talks about, you know, poison, venom. It talks about asps and dragons. Now, of course, underneath saying a serpent-like creature, there's kind of this small serpent that slithers on the ground, and a dragon's like a more dangerous, you know, very scary version, right? You know, this great hissing dragon. But it's similar to a serpent. Now, here's the thing. In the Bible you don't see the word reptile, right? We have modern-day classifications. The Bible doesn't have the same necessary classification that we have. For example, if you ask me, you know, what did Jonah get swallowed by? Was it a whale or a fish? Well, I'd say both are correct. You say why? The Bible mentions both. And the Bible says a great fish, and in another place it says whale. What that tells you is a whale is a very large fish. Now, of course, if you said whale today, you wouldn't think large fish. It's a little bit different. It's similar, but it's different. Realize the classifications in the Bibles, you don't see the word mammal, you don't see the word reptile. It's just a little bit different, okay? So a dragon is similar to a serpent. Now, turn to Psalm 74. Psalm 74. You say, Brother Sucky, do dragons still exist today? Well, I would say that I don't know about this flying, fire-breathing one, but let me explain to you a dragon I do believe exists, the Komodo dragon. I don't believe that animal is misnamed. We just read about the poison of dragons. Here's what it says about the Komodo dragon. As a result of their size, Komodo dragons are apex predators and dominate the ecosystems in which they live. Komodo dragons hunt and ambush prey, including invertebrates, birds, and mammals. It has been claimed that they have a venomous bite. So we've got a poisonous, giant reptile. It's a dragon. There's a reason why they called it the Komodo dragon. That's why it got its name. It's a poisonous creature. Now, it's not the flying, fire-breathing one, but it is a dragon that exists today, and it's a pretty scary animal. Has anyone ever seen YouTube videos of the Komodo dragon? I saw on this, I think it was this Japanese game show where basically they had a Komodo dragon that they were basically having contained, and someone would start running away from the dragon, and they let it go, and the Komodo dragon ran after them. And look, the Komodo dragon, if you've seen it, it looks like it would be very slow, but it's not slow. It runs, like, really weird, right? I mean, I can't even describe it, but it is very fast for a short distance. I'm like, who would possibly do that, right? Trying to run away from, like, a poisonous, giant dragon. But it is a very scary creature, right? And it is a poisonous creature, and it is a giant reptile. Well, maybe not all of these giant dragons exist today, but the Komodo dragon would be a remnant of it. So look, I don't see the Bible being like, you know, oh wow, how can you believe that? Well, there's an example right there. I didn't call it a Komodo dragon. That's the name that everybody knows. Now, I'm sure there's some scientific name that none of us know, but we know it as the Komodo dragon, right? Psalm 74, verse 13. Psalm 74, verse 13. Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength, thou breakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. So notice here, it mentions dragons in the waters. Thou breakest the heads of Leviathan in pieces, and gave us him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness. Now, we will talk about Leviathan later on in the sermon, but I believe the definition of Leviathan is basically a large dragon in the water, would be the definition that you're seeing, because it mentions dragons in the waters, their heads being broken. Next verse, thou breakest the heads of Leviathan in pieces. The Bible defines itself. It's showing you that Leviathan is a large dragon that dwells in the water, okay? What I'm showing you there is some dragons actually are in the water. Not all of them are land animals. And of course, the modern-day depiction, you would think of dragons as always flying, fire-breathing, living on land, but biblically speaking, with its classification, that is not true, okay? Some are actually in the water. Go to Jeremiah chapter 9. Jeremiah 9. Jeremiah 9. Now, look, the only reason why people doubt these things in the Bible is they say, well, I've never seen it with my eyes, so it must not exist. Just because you've never seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You know, when I was a math teacher in the U.S., I had a student who, I think he was from Nigeria, but he was from Africa, I remember, and he lived in a remote jungle area, and he told me one time that they were always scared in the village they lived in because at nighttime there was this giant, flying, like, dragon, dinosaur-type creature, and he's kind of embarrassed to tell me this because nobody believed him, and I said, I actually do believe you, because areas where there are not people, there's very few people, there's going to be a lot of animals, and I believe there's probably a lot of weird animals out there that we have no idea about. Now, I don't know whether that would be, like, similar to a pterodactyl or a dragon-like creature, but he said everybody in the village was afraid of this creature, and they had to make sure their animals were inside because that thing would just snatch up whatever, right? And so, look, just because you've never seen it with your eyes doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Look, we live in Metro Manila. It's a very populated area. You're not going to see a lot of these creatures, okay? It says in Jeremiah 9, verse 11, And I will make Jerusalem heaps and a den of dragons, and I will make the cities of Judah desolate without an inhabitant. Jeremiah 9, verse 11 speaks about the den of dragons. So think about a dragon's den or a dragon's cave. That's something you hear about with the normal description of a dragon. It's accurate. That's what the Bible says. They dwell in dens and caves. This is a very tough animal, and yet it dwells away from humans because humans, all animals are afraid of humans, the Bible says, right? But it does say that they have a den that they dwell in. Now, turn to Isaiah 27. Isaiah 27. Now you say, well, Brother Stuckey, how can you tell me that this exists, okay? Well, let me just read you from somebody who's kind of famous. I mean, who's heard of Alexander the Great? Kind of a famous person in history? I'm not talking about some random homeless person, okay, that's talking to himself or whatever that's crazy. Alexander the Great is one of the most famous people in history. I'd imagine just about everybody knows that name, right? They make movies, TV shows about him. Well, Alexander the Great, this is what he said when he went to India. In 330 BC, after Alexander the Great invaded India, he brought back reports of seeing a great hissing dragon living in a cave. So according to Alexander the Great, the most powerful man in the world, he said he saw this giant hissing dragon living in a cave. Why would he make that up? This is not someone who's just doing all these drugs and just out of their mind saying, man, I just saw all these visions or whatever. It's like this is the most famous man in the world and he says, when we went to India, we saw this giant hissing dragon that was living in a cave. And it said one of Alexander the Great's lieutenants, Onisocritus, stated that the Indian king Abiserus kept serpents that were 120 and 210 feet long. So one of the head people for Alexander the Great in his military said, with my own eyes, I saw that this leader in India, he had these giant dragons that are basically 200 feet long. Look, these are famous people in history. I get it. We don't see this today. Just because it does not exist today doesn't mean it never existed, though. And these are famous people. Alexander the Great said that he saw it, right? There's no reason to doubt it. You say, well, Brother Stuckey, actually, let me read you also from this. I forgot. He brought back reports of seeing a great hissing dragon living in a cave. You say, well, how do you know that's real? Because it says which people are worshipping as a god. Well, of course, that's accurate. In India, they're worshipping a giant dragon. It makes sense to me, right? And so this is what Alexander the Great personally saw. Let me give you another just common sense example that I thought of. You know, Chinese New Year was just relatively recently and they have 12 animals that are part of the zodiac, right? 12 common animals. I don't know if your birthday is, what, in a certain area, you're this animal or whatever, every year there's a new... I don't know much about it, okay? Chinese New Year's not big in the U.S., so I'm kind of ignorant about it. But let me just name to you the 11 other animals because a dragon is one of those animals. The first animal I have on the list is a rat. Is a rat a real animal? Yes. An ox. Is an ox a real animal? Yes. A tiger? Yes. A rabbit? Yes. A snake? Yes. A horse? A ram? A monkey? A rooster? A dog? A pig? Are any of those even debatable? Everybody would say those 11 animals are real. So they just picked 11 real animals and let's just make up this magical creature that doesn't exist? I mean, use some common sense. Does that make any sense at all? Right? If they picked 11 real animals, common sense would tell you the other one's real too. I mean, and here's the thing about this. If you do any sort of research around this world, there are drawings of dragons, dinosaurs. Even before they discovered dinosaur fossils in the 19th century, they should have already known that they existed because all around the world you see those drawings. Everybody just magically drew like this dragon, you know, like all over the world. Obviously, it was a real creature even if we do not see it existing today. Common sense would say that. So number one, we looked at the unicorn. Number two, we looked at the dragon. Number three, let's look at Leviathan, which I believe is basically a type of dragon, a water-dwelling dragon. That's what it says in Isaiah 27, verse 1. In that day, the Lord with his sore and great and strong swords shall punish Leviathan, the piercing serpent. So once again, you see a serpent mentioned. And so what I believe the biblical classification is, is you basically have a serpent and you have different types of serpents, and a dragon is like a large type of serpent, and Leviathan is a type of dragon. That's my opinion from looking at these verses. Obviously, the classification is different than we have. But a serpent, and then there's different types of serpents, and then there's even underneath that, you know, all these different branches that go out. But it mentions Leviathan, the piercing serpent, even Leviathan, that crooked serpent, and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. So you see the link between dragons and serpents, and Leviathan is in the water, and what Leviathan is, is this giant dragon that lives and dwells in the water. Turn to Psalm 74. We looked at it already. Let's look at it again. Psalm 74. Psalm 74. Psalm 74. It's actually pretty amazing that if you just let the Bible define itself and just pay attention to what the Bible says, you can actually figure out a lot of stuff. The Bible gives you a lot of information if you pay close attention to what's being said in these verses. Look, a lot of this stuff I didn't know until I personally studied myself, but the answers are found in the Word of God. Psalm 74, verse 13. Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength. Thou breakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou breakest the heads of Leviathan in pieces. So you can tell that Leviathan is a dragon that lives in the water, very clearly in Psalm 74, and of course it linked it with being a serpent in Isaiah 27, which would be a very large serpent. Alexander the Great said he saw a great hissing dragon. Well, of course that's one of the features of a small serpent or snake that you see. Right? I mean, they hiss. Right? Well, I mean, a dragon is very similar. The weird little tongue that they got, just like the small little serpents or whatever, just a giant version of it. Go to Psalm 104. Psalm 104. Psalm 104. Psalm 104, verse 25. Psalm 104, verse 25. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts. There go the ships. There is that Leviathan whom thou hast made to play therein. So once again, you're seeing Leviathan linked with the sea. This is a water dragon. Okay? Turn in your Bible to Job 41. Job 41. Job 41. Now, of course, people would ask, well, does a creature like this exist today? I don't know. I mean, there's a lot of crazy sea monsters that are out there, and they say only 5% of the ocean has actually been discovered, so I don't really know what's in the other 95% of the ocean. I would just say probably the most discovered areas are nearer to people, I would assume, and basically the areas that are undiscovered, well, that might be where certain animals hide because, you know, the people aren't there. I would say I would feel kind of scared being in a submarine in some of these undiscovered areas. Who knows what sort of creature would be popping up, right? So I don't know. That's my opinion, but anyways, Job 41. Job 41. Job 41, verse 1. Canst thou draw Leviathan with an hook, or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? Now, once again, you're seeing the reference to being a water animal, drawing it out with an hook. Go to verse 15. His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a closed seal. So you're looking at a reptile-type creature, right? It's got scales, it's living in the water. Go to verse 18. By his kneesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are the eyelids of the morning. Now, his kneesings is a makalumang word for sneezing, okay? So basically, this animal, when it sneezes, a light doth shine, and that's referencing fire, right? So basically, this is not a creature you want to even get near to. You're having a conversation with Leviathan, it sneezes, and boom, you know, you're set on fire, right? And it says, his eyes are the eyelids of the morning, once again using symbolism to describe, you know, fire. It says, out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. Out of his nostrils go with smoke, as out of a seething pot or cauldron. His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. So here's an animal that can breathe fire. Now, I personally don't believe Leviathan only is in the water. I believe it can be on land, but its natural habitat is in the water from looking at these verses. But it says that it can actually breathe fire. Now, people hear that, and they say, well, that's crazy. I would never believe that. How is that possible? But there's a small creature that's really well known for doing the same thing. It's just a small creature. It's known as the bombardier beetle. And basically what it does as a defense mechanism is when it spits out, it spits out boiling liquid. And what happens is it has basically two compartments to its body, and individually they cause no harm. But, I mean, just think about basic chemicals. Two chemicals mean nothing. Once you throw them together, boom, right? And when it spits, these combine together, and then boom, this boiling hot liquid flies out. It's probably pretty similar to Leviathan or some of these dragons where basically once they breathe, they can just throw out smoke, okay? Throw out fire. Go to Genesis 9. Genesis 9. And look, if you ever read, like, old books or old stories and everything, they'll talk about dragons, and they'll talk about how basically everyone's in fear of the dragon and the town they live in. It's like a competition who can kill the dragon. And everybody wants to kill the dragon, right? And you say, why? Because men are stupid, right? I mean, I would be right there. It's like, that's right. Just give me a spear. I'm going to go after this fire-breathing poisonous animal. I'll take it out, right? That's the way men are, right? But this is in all kinds of books and stories. You read about them trying to kill and hunt dragons. Here's the reality. We're not animals. We're smart enough to do it. Especially in our modern-day world with guns and modern-day weapons, it's like no animal would stand a chance. It's not like Godzilla exists, right? I mean, there are dinosaurs and large creatures. There's not like this five-million-foot-tall, you know, creature that you've got to have, like, nuclear missiles hit or whatever. I mean, Leviathan's a giant creature, but yet people do have the ability to kill that creature, right? I mean, they have weapons. They have modern-day stuff. Now, notice what it says in Genesis 9, verse 2. Genesis 9, verse 2. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth and upon all the fishes of the sea, and to your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you, even as the green herb have I given you all things. In verse 3, it says that we're allowed to eat any meat, right? The Bible's very clear on that. It's not a sin to eat any kind of meat, okay? But what it says here in verse 2 is the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth. When I say any sort of meat, I'm not including humans, okay? I'm saying any animal, which we are not an animal, okay? What it says here in Genesis 9 is that basically we're allowed to eat any animal, but what it says is in verse 2, every animal is afraid of humans. Every animal is afraid of humans. And this is a fact. Large animals, when they come in contact with humans, they will flee. They will run. I've used the example before that I was very close to a giant bear in the wilderness, and that thing ran away from me like a scared little girl, right? And I ran away like a scared little girl, too. It's amazing how fast you can run when you really need to, right? I was afraid, you know, I don't know, if that's just the cub, if Mama Bear's around, I better get out of here, right? But that animal was afraid of me, just ran away from me. Now, why would it be afraid of me? I mean, it's five times my size. I mean, it's got claws. I mean, it's just like how would I possibly... I didn't have a gun on me or anything, so that animal's going to kill me if it wanted to. But it ran away. You say, why is that? Because the Bible's true. Animals are afraid of humans. And you know what? After the flood, God puts something inside of them where they're aware, hey, humans can actually kill us, because it's linked with the fact that we eat the animals, so somehow they know just by instinct, hey, let's just get away from the humans, and that is what you see, right? Turn to Job chapter 40. Job 40. So what I'm saying is, you know, some of these creatures, they might still exist, and they're just not where humans are. And so if you go to uninhabited islands, you're probably going to see some weird creatures. I'm not saying they're all going to be these giant creatures, but there's probably a lot of animals that don't exist here, right? I mean, some of these animals, they could exist today, or maybe not a giant flying dragon, but I mean, a Komodo dragon's real. Maybe there's other creatures that are like that, some reptiles that are kind of undiscovered that people are not aware of. Just because we don't see it here does not mean it doesn't exist, right? I mean, in America or here, I mean, a snake is going to be a pretty small animal in general, but there are actually some pretty dangerous and scary snakes that are in this world, right? I saw this mini documentary about the seven deadliest snakes in the world, and this guy was basically, he would agitate the snakes and get a picture like within a couple feet, and the guy was crazy. But the only one he did not do that with was the black mamba, because he said this one's just too dangerous. And the black mamba is only 12 feet long, but it can stand up six feet on its body. So you could be going running in the wilderness, and then you come face to face with a black mamba. It's like, whoa, right? There's a lot of scary creatures that are out there. Number one, we looked at the unicorn. Number two, we looked at the dragon. We looked at Leviathan, which is essentially a water dragon. And you know what? There could be various sea monsters that exist today that we're not aware of. Or, for example, a lot of people have seen giant sea monsters, and everyone says they're crazy. Well, who knows? I mean, maybe some of them exist. There's a lot of cases, if you look back in history, of ships that just go missing, and then they find it broken in 100 pieces, and it's like some sort of crazy animal, some sort of crazy sea monster just smashed it into pieces, and they have no idea what happened, right? But obviously there's some sort of creature, if it can bend a giant ship into like 100 pieces, right? The next one I want to look at is Behemoth, which is mentioned in Job 40. Job 40, verse 15. Job 40, verse 15. Behold now Behemoth, which I made with thee. He eateth grass as an ox. Lo, now his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moved his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his stones are wrapped together. So here's a creature that, you know, people have not seen in today's world, so they kind of question, what is this? Now if you look at Bible commentaries in the past, with Leviathan they'll say, probably an alligator, probably a crocodile, a fire-breathing animal that's the most dangerous in the world, and look, a crocodile is dangerous, but it's not Leviathan, right? It doesn't breathe fire. I mean, obviously it's in the reptile category, but basically what they did is they looked at the Bible and said, you know what? It's got to be a creature that exists today. That's bad logic. Just because it does not exist today doesn't mean it never existed, and you can look at the description and say, certainly not an alligator, certainly not a crocodile. Well, with Behemoth they say, well, this must be an elephant. It's a giant creature. They said it eats grass. I mean, it must be an elephant. Well, you say, what's the problem with that? Verse 17 is the problem. He moveth his tail like a cedar. Look, a cedar tree is very thick, very strong, very durable. How about an elephant's tail? I mean, this is a big, bad creature, and it's got the weakest, flimsiest tail in the entire world. I mean, it's got such a small tail, and it's such a giant creature, this is not an elephant. You say Brother Stuckey, but, and look, this is when they wrote commentaries hundreds and hundreds of years ago. What could this creature be? And then, of course, they find fossils of dinosaurs. Well, they have a pretty big tail, don't they? And see, what's funny about this is people used to mock the Bible, look at these creatures, Behemoth and Leviathan, and now they've discovered dinosaurs, and yet the same kinds of people will mock the Bible and say, well, you guys don't talk about dinosaurs. It's like the word dinosaur is a 19th century word, but the Bible spoke about Leviathan and Behemoth, which are essentially dinosaurs, these giant creatures. The Bible is always ahead of its time, and this creature Behemoth, I mean, it sounds like some sort of dinosaur to me. It's got a giant tail, it's a really strong creature, his bones are strong pieces of brass, his bones are like bars of iron, he is the chief of the ways of God, he that made him can make his sword to approach onto him. And look, of course, I know that there's various modern-day dinosaurs that they mention, various names like T-Rex and Brontosaurus and all these different ones. I don't know whether Behemoth would be specifically one of those or it's sort of an umbrella term for many of them, right? My son honestly knows a lot about dinosaurs to me. He'll say, what's the name of this creature? I have no idea, right? I know T-Rex, and that's about it, okay? It's Aerodactyl, all right? But fine, it's easier than ever. Now, go in your Bible to, let me skip ahead to Isaiah 11. Isaiah 11. Isaiah 11. Isaiah 11. Isaiah 11. So we looked at the unicorn, we looked at the dragon, we looked at Leviathan, which is essentially a water dragon. Behemoth is some sort of dinosaur-like creature. Next, let's look at the cockatrice. The cockatrice. Now, the cockatrice is mentioned two times in our King James Bible. And here's what it says about the cockatrice in mythology. It's a legendary monster with a deadly glance, supposedly hatched by a serpent from the egg of a cock, the rooster, and commonly represented with the head, legs, and wings of a rooster and the body and tail of a serpent. Now, look, this creature has never existed, okay? There's never been a half rooster, half dragon that existed. But I will say this, that the pictures, you know, you see of dragons or videos you've seen, I mean, they've got a pretty gnarly-looking head sometimes. Some of these reptiles, their heads kind of look kind of scary. So I can see where this could get morphed into mythology or whatever. But let's just see what is a cockatrice. Well, Isaiah 11, verse 8. And the sucking child shall play in the hole of the asp, which an asp is a serpent. And the reason why it mentions that is during millennial reign, you're not going to be afraid of these animals at all because, you know, an asp in today's world is going to be very poisonous. You're going to have a few of it. And the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's dick. And so once again, we're seeing that this animal is like a snake-like creature and it mentions a cockatrice den. Well, it mentioned a den for dragons, right? Go to one other place, Isaiah 14. Isaiah 14. And Isaiah 14 makes it pretty clear what we're looking at here. Isaiah 14, verse 29. Isaiah 14, verse 29. Rejoice not thou, O Palestine, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken, for out of the serpent's roots shall come forth a cockatrice. So once again, it mentions a serpent. And his fruit, which means the offspring, shall be a fiery, flying serpent. So from what I'm seeing on these two verses, a cockatrice is really what we think of when we say dragon, right? We're looking at a fiery, flying serpent. This is actually a dragon. I think actually it would be a classification of dragon. Because one dragon would be the water-dwelling dragon, the leviathan. A cockatrice also is a den, so I would say this is basically a land dragon. Now, I'm not saying all dragons can fly and breathe fire, because the Komodo dragon is a poisonous dragon that cannot do those things. But I do believe that there have been dragons in the past that breathe fire and the flu, and this would be an example. So this is probably the scariest creature ever. It flies, it breathes fire, and it's poisonous. So when Alexander the Great saw a dragon in a cave, it's basically a cockatrice, is what I'm telling you. So when you see what's known as a dragon, it's actually a cockatrice. There's actually many different types of dragons. Not all of them would be the flying, fire-breathing ones, but a cockatrice is an example. Once again, there's drawings of dragons all around the world. I think it's foolish to say they never existed when it's in books, in old stories, and it's not written in a way like it's this fake mythological creature. It's written as if it's real. There's a reason why everyone talks about them around the world, because they've actually seen them. Same reason why there's myths of a worldwide flood around the world. Maybe it actually happened, right? Now the stories don't fully add up. Some will say one thing, some will say something a little bit different, but all around the world there's myths of a worldwide flood. Many times there was eight people that survived. Wow, I wonder where they got that coming from, right? Now turn to your Bible to Genesis chapter six. Genesis chapter six. Genesis chapter six. Look, this is kind of more of a unique type of sermon, but it's an interesting topic to me. It's always annoying to me when people want to mock the Bible and criticize it and everything. Just ignorant people that don't know what they're talking about, but they just try to make us look bad. Here's how you can answer some of these things. Many people at our church actually have asked me about a lot of these preachers. Like, what is this? And quite honestly, for some of them I'm like, I'm not sure. Let me look up the verse and see it in context, right? Because I didn't know personally myself, because I don't really think about it that much. So it's good to just know all things in the Bible and be aware of these things. So let's look up next giants in the Bible. Giants in the Bible. Now giants are mentioned 19 times in the Bible. And when you think of a giant, or when kids here are a giant, they think like Jack and the Beanstalk. They think of a giant that's like 500 feet tall. Look, 500 feet tall people have never existed before. The Bible speaks about giants. You say, well, then what is it? In the 80s, there was a pretty famous professional wrestler. He was kind of the rival to Hulk Hogan, known as Andre the Giant. You say, why are they called the giant? Because he's like this tall. He's like 7 foot 3, but he's not 700 feet tall. He's 7 feet tall. Do you understand? I mean, a giant is just a really tall person. And look, I get it. In mythology and stories, they want to make it entertaining for kids. So there's like this giant creature that's like hundreds of feet tall. A giant, biblically speaking, is just a really tall human being. So look, at our church, none of us would be giants. Like, this is a rare person that is that tall. Now, there's people at our church that are tall, but no one is anywhere near what a giant is. And so a giant in the Bible, biblically speaking, I mean, David was not fighting a 200 foot tall human being. He was probably fighting somebody who was like 7 foot 5 or something like that, somebody really tall, not 200 feet tall. Now, let me just give you a basic math lesson to help you understand this stuff. Now, I'm not quite 6 feet tall. This is probably 6 feet tall. But just to make it kind of easier, let's say I was 6 feet tall, okay? I have no idea how much I weighed because I don't believe in weighing yourself. I weighed myself once in the past decade. Let's just say I weighed 75 kilograms. I really have no idea, okay? So 6 feet tall, 75 kilograms. If I was twice as tall, how much would I weigh? 12 feet tall, 75 kilograms. If I was twice as tall, how much would I weigh? Now, many of you are immediately thinking 150 kilograms. That's not correct because we're three dimensional. We're not one dimensional because there's height, there's width, there's depth, there's three dimensions. So what you would do is 2 times 2 times 2. So roughly speaking, I understand there's bone density and all these things that I mean, but roughly speaking, it would be 8 times as much weight. So for example, someone like Shaquille O'Neal, we would call a giant. In reality, he's not that much taller than me, right? I mean, it's not like he's, I mean, it's only like, you know, basically 15 inches. But here's the thing. If you're like 1.2 times as much in height, 1 times to the third power, you're looking at almost twice as much weight because Shaquille O'Neal weighs more than twice as much as me, right? Unless he's gone on a diet recently. In the playing days, I mean, he was like 150 plus kilograms. He was huge and he looked huge, but in reality, the height's not that much different because if he was just as thin and basically he didn't grow in any, you know, width or depth, you know, then he wouldn't look massive and just intimidating, but it's because we're three dimensional, okay? So when David fought Goliath, let's say Goliath was 1.5 times as tall as David. I don't personally believe David was done growing at that point. I could be wrong. But let's say we're talking 5 feet versus 7.5 feet or like 5 foot 5 versus, you know, 8 feet roughly. Well, 1.5 times 1.5 is 2.25 times 1.5 is 3.375. So he could have weighed more than three times as much as David. Well, you understand where we get David versus Goliath then, right? I mean, but what I'm just trying to tell you is this. Someone who's just like this much taller would actually weigh quite a bit more because we're three dimensional. Now, Genesis 6 is a famous passage. I do my best to fit math into every sermon, right? So Genesis 6, Genesis 6 verse 1. And it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw their daughters and men that they were fair and they took them wives of all which they chose. Now, this is not a confusing passage, but many Baptists have just completely messed up this passage because what I believe is being said here in verse 2 is the sons of God saved people, right? If you're saved, you have eternal life. You have everlasting life. You're a child of God and they saw the daughters of men. They saw them in what way? That they were fair. Basically, you have saved people looking at attractive, unsaved women and they married women simply because they found them attractive. Now, of course, that's not really hard to believe because isn't that what people do in 2022, right? And as I said recently as I talked about the difference between men and women, especially for men, this would be true, right? Just marrying someone simply because you find them attractive, right? So we have saved people marrying unsaved people simply because they're attractive. Well, obviously, that's the wrong thing to do. You're not supposed to be unequally yoked together with an unbeliever. But saved people marry unsaved people and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man for that he also has flesh, yet his days shall be in 120 years. So God is very angry. Then it says this, There were giants in the earth in those days and also after that when the sons of God came in on the daughters of men and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Now, in verse 4, if you pay attention, it says there was giants in the earth in those days and also after that when the sons of God married the daughters of men. You see, verse 4 actually goes back slightly in time because verse 2 tells you saved, married, unsaved. Verse 4 tells you, well, you know what, there was giants and then after that is when the sons of God married the daughters of men. So here's the thing. There was giants before the sons of God married the daughters of men. You say, why? There have always been tall human beings. That's all it is. This is not complicated. The Bible is entertaining enough on its own. I don't have to just make up stuff to make it entertaining. Saved people married unsaved people makes perfect sense. And also after that, the sons of God came on the daughters of men and they bare children to them. You say, but it says the same became mighty men. And what people say is, other Baptists will say, well, the sons of God are fallen angels and they basically slept with women and then basically they had these giant offspring like Jack and the Beanstalk, right? And they say, well, what is it talking about with mighty men? Well, here's what it's talking about. Men that basically have strong influence and power because if you look up mighty men in the Bible, it can either refer to strong people or people that are like politicians would be declared mighty men according to the Bible. It depends on what you're looking at. If you're talking about going out to military, a mighty man would be someone who's strong. If you're talking about influence and power, biblically speaking, a mighty man is someone who's basically powerful. Politicians, presidents, they're mighty men, right? They have influence, they have power. Men of renown is men of reputation. Basically, people know who they are. Look, people know who the politicians of the Philippines are. They don't know who we are. We're not mighty men. We're not men of renown speaking in terms of our influence on this world. Now, spiritually, we can be mighty men and mighty women, but I'm just saying in terms of influence on this world, we're not politicians, right? We don't have that sort of power. Now, what people say is, well, the sons of God are fallen angels and they married these women. They had children. Well, there's a couple problems with this. Number one, the Bible says that angels do not have that sort of desire. They neither marry nor are given a marriage like the angels which are in heaven, right? People say, well, that's just the good angels. The bad angels, though, they do have this desire. Well, there's no verse that would indicate that. But when you look up sons of God throughout the Bible, you're always looking at saved people. I mean, what are people before the time of Christ if they're not children of God? What are they then? Because preaching the gospel in eternal life is something that has always existed. So when somebody got saved, they got born again. And even Jesus said himself to Nicodemus, Art thou master of Israel? And no, it's not these things. You don't understand being born again. It's all throughout the Old Testament. What are you talking about, right? Because salvation has always existed. People went soul winning back in the Old Testament. Now, yes, the Old Testament doesn't mainly focus on that, but look, prophets were preaching the same things in the New Testament even before it was written down in our form that we have today. It's just saved people. Why would a fallen angel be called a son of God? It doesn't make any sense. And here's the thing. If fallen angels are sons of God, that would make the devil a son of God. Now, some dispensationalists would say that's true. The devil is a son of God. Some would say they're not. But here's what some dispensationalists teach. Some say, well, the devil slept with Eve and that was Cain. Cain was the offspring. That is basically the seed of the serpent. And basically, Satan slept with... I mean, this is weird. That's crazy. And some will say, well, in the end time, Satan will sleep with a woman and then that's where the Antichrist will come from. Well, here's the thing about this. They'll always say they'll basically tempt some woman who has no idea that they're a fallen angel, but they'll never mention that the Bible says these people get married. It's not just that they slept with them. They lived with them and they lived a long time back then. So for hundreds of years, I had no idea my husband was a fallen angel. For people that are married to a serial killer, I had no idea they were a serial killer. I had no idea he was a fallen angel. I had no idea he was married to the devil. This is science fiction. This is ridiculous. Here's another logical inconsistency. Let's say, for example, because what they say is fallen angels slept with women and they had children that were 500 feet tall when they became adults. Well, how big were they as babies? Because I'm pretty sure that if a woman gave birth to a 20-kilogram baby, they would die. Right? It's just like this doesn't make any sense. Because you never hear them mention this. Well, I mean, because obviously if they're going to be super huge, well then as a baby they're not going to be small. That doesn't make any sense. Just so many logical inconsistencies when the Bible is very clear that the sons of God are saved people. It also says here in this passage in verse 5, And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth. Who's he mad at? Is he mad at the angels in verse 5? He's mad at man. Why? Because man married unsaved women, and then all of a sudden if saved marry unsaved, they don't teach their kids the ways of the Lord. And the kids grow up and they don't love God, didn't get saved, and then wickedness is going throughout the entire world as a result. So God is mad at man. Look, if a fallen angel slept with a woman, which is not possible, right, we're dealing with the realm of science fiction here, the offspring is not a human. I don't know what it is. I mean, this is a science fiction story, right? But he says he's mad at man. He's not mad at these hybrid half-angels Nephilim creatures. And what people will say is this. Well, I mean, God had to send the flood because of these giant Nephilim creatures. And basically the bloodlines were destroyed where basically everybody in the world was half-angel, half-human. This is ridiculous. This is not what the Bible teaches. God is mad at man. He's not mad at the angels. Now turn your Bible to Isaiah 13, Isaiah 13. And look, some of you have even told me some things I haven't even heard before. I've heard recently how some people say, well, the angels didn't just sleep with women, they slept with animals as well, and that's where you get, like, the mermaid, right? Or that's where you get, like, we're going to look at the last creature, the satyr, which is a half-human, half-goat in mythology and stuff like that. It's like, this is crazy. And what I heard in the U.S. before, there's conspiracy videos online where they'll say if you look closely at the giant mountains in this world, you can see a nose and eyes because it was basically Nephilim that got wiped out in the flood, and that's where we get our mountains. It's just like the Bible's entertaining enough on its own. You don't have to just make up this stuff that makes no sense. They're just saved people marrying unsaved people. Same thing happens in today's world. Lastly, let's look at the satyr, the satyr. And this is what it says about the satyr. In classical mythology, one of a class of woodland deities, attendant on Bacchus, represented as part-human, part-horse, and sometimes part-goat, and noted for riotousness and lasciviousness. So what a satyr is in mythology is like a half-human, half-goat, or half-human, half-horse. So half-human and half-wild animal, basically, right? Well, the Bible actually mentions satyrs, so let's see what it's talking about. Isaiah 13, verse 21. But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there. Isaiah 13, verse 21. But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there, and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures, and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. So we're seeing satyrs mentioned. We're looking at, you know, linked with wild animals, the desert, and dancing, okay? Now, look, of course, when it's saying the satyrs are dancing there, it's not talking about doing the waltz, or the tango, or breakdancing, or something like that, right? Just kind of the movements of these creatures is, you know, you'd say, oh, it's like it's dancing, the way it's moving, or whatever, right? Now, turn to Isaiah 34. Isaiah 34. Isaiah 34. Isaiah 34, verse 14. And it says, the wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyrs shall cry to his fellow, the screech also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. So it mentioned in the other place in Isaiah 13, wild beasts of the desert, and what do we see here? Wild beasts of the desert. So satyrs would be an animal that's in the desert, and it would be a wild animal, I would say, or it's at least linked with them. And it mentioned in chapter 13 about it dancing, and in chapter 34, it mentions it crying. Well, crying is not like a dog whimpering. Crying in the Bible is crying out or yelling. So you're looking at some sort of like kind of wild sort of animal that dwells in the desert. Basically, in these passages where it's very desolate, people are not around, this animal dwells, and it's basically very loud when it cries out. It has a dancing-like movement. And, you know, there's a couple of different creatures you could think of, and one possibility is the satyr mentioned in the Bible could be several different animals today that would fit underneath satyr, like a different classification, which I would probably lean towards. But, you know, Brother Marlin mentioned one that I thought was a really good fit. He mentioned the coyote, and that is actually a very possible description because they dwell in the desert. The hockey team in Phoenix, because Phoenix is desert land where Faithful Word is, the Phoenix coyotes, coyotes are out there in the desert land, and they cry out, and they're known to have like dancing-like movements. And so that is a good example. You know, that's a possibility. And it could be several different wild beasts, but you're looking at some sort of wild dog-like creature, you know, like a coyote, you know, something like that. And so there's no indication, though, in these verses that it's a half-human, half-goat, right? Like this is the one of all of them on the list. I'm not really 100% sure, and there's only a couple of verses. But regardless of what you think, if you say, I think a coyote fits, you know, that's fine, but it's not a half-human. It's some sort of wild animal that basically cries out and has a dancing-like movement, and that's what we're looking at. So the creatures we looked at in the sermon, we looked at the unicorn, which is, to just recap, a one-horn rhinoceros. We looked at a dragon, which a dragon can be on the land or in the water. Leviathan, which is a water dragon that can also breathe fire. Behemoth is some sort of dinosaur-like creature. Giants are just tall human beings. This is not whatever people think it is, just a tall human being. A satyr is basically a wild sort of beast, coyote-type creature. And a cockatrice is basically what we think of when we say dragon. It's basically a land dragon that breathes fire and flies and is poisonous. And so those are the main creatures. Of course, there's other ones I didn't mention, like, for example, cherubim and seraphim, which are angelic beings, which is probably the best way I could describe that. You've got animals in Ezekiel chapter 1. I mean, there's some specific weird creatures and animals that God has created that we're going to see in heaven and things such as that, but are not necessarily here on earth. The Bible talks about the beast of the sea in Revelation 13, which is just symbolic of the devil, you know, being a dragon, and then the false prophet and the beast rising out of the sea and all that. And then the Bible speaks about the pit locust in the book of Revelation, and I believe that's personally a specific creature God's created to torture the enemies of God during the end times. So there's certain creatures that we don't necessarily see here today, and certain of these creatures we went through, maybe a lot of them are extinct, right? I mean, these are creatures I mentioned specifically because we don't see these creatures today. Maybe you hear about them, you see them in a movie, and there's a lot of different opinions about it, but, you know, when you look at the Bible, it's actually not that complicated with most of these creatures. And look, at the end of the day, there might be a verse or something you do not understand in the Bible. The Bible is perfect. Just because you do not know the answer does not mean that the answer is not out there. Let's close in a word of prayer for you. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing us to be here today and just getting to see this sermon, and just help us to know our Bibles and be ready to answer those that would attack our faith and criticize us, God.
