My heart can be so troubled, trembling with fear Eyes closed, tied, expecting to overflow with tears If I could manage to whisper the name above all names Suddenly I am at peace and things aren't quite the same It happens every time I speak his name My spirit comes within me, I feel him ease the pain It's a mystery I think I never could explain But it happens every time I speak his name Why is it we seek comfort from everyone but him? When hurts and failures leave us lonely and unnamed Oh, for the sound of Jesus' name to soothe and gently mend Let the broken hear the name that makes things new again It happens every time I speak his name My spirit comes within me, I feel him ease the pain It's a mystery I think I never could explain But it happens every time I speak his name Jesus, Jesus, Jesus There's just something about that name It happens every time I speak the name of Jesus My spirit comes within me, I feel him ease the pain It's a mystery I agree I never could explain But it happens every time I speak his name It happens every time I speak his name Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Go ahead and turn on this mic. Can you hear me all right, guys? Wow, that's loud. All right, glory. I'm going to go ahead and shut this one off. All right. Well, it's great to see so many great faces out here tonight and people that love the Lord and are excited about serving Christ and living the Christian life. You know, I really wish that more people out in our community here in Durand were more serious about the gospel. But you know what? At least there is a remnant. So the Lord's been working. If you got your Bibles handy, we're going to turn over to Romans chapter number one. And we're going to start in verse 20. It says for the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen. Notice that wording. The Bible says it's clearly seen. Being understood by the things that are made. So we understand it. Why? Because we're the creation of God. We understand that we're created. And it says be understood by the things which are made, even his eternal power and God had so that they, referring to people that have really no belief in God, are without excuse because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God. Neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations. And their foolish heart was darkened. Notice that wording there. The foolish heart. They're fools. The Bible says professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. Let's go ahead and pray. Dear Lord, I thank you so much for this opportunity to be able to stand behind this pulpit and declare your word. Lord, I pray you'd hide me behind the cross and that you'd use me today to bring a message that'll change lives and affect people and give them an inspiration to just break through and share the gospel with their community every day. Every day, Lord, I pray that every day we can all be soul winners. I pray that you'll work in our church and work in our midst. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. So the title of my sermon tonight is Creation, Cults, and the Two World Religion. Creation, cults, and two world religions. So basically this sermon is just, I'm just going to flat out be honest. I'm preaching a sermon. Let's say for example, let's just say for example I wanted to start a club and say, well, we're going to have this club, and let's say at the center of my club I said, we're not going to believe in Santa Claus. Let's just hypothetically say that. Wouldn't you say that that's kind of a silly club? Wouldn't you say, wow, you're founding a whole entire club off of a belief, off of a lack of belief in somebody? I mean, wouldn't that kind of be silly? But what's the difference? Let me ask you a question. What's the difference between that and all these atheists out here in Durand? And there's a ton of atheists in Durand. That's why I'm preaching this message. It's because when you go out door knocking, you're going to run into them. And by the grace of God, I've seen many of them get saved. And this sermon I'm hoping is going to be able to help us to reach even more atheists for Christ. But I mean just think how stupid it would be if I just founded a club and said, oh, it's on how we don't believe in Santa Claus, and we're just going to publish a website and go worldwide. I think that'd be dumb, but you know what? The atheists do the same thing. I find it amazing that they attack pastor, they attack myself, and they attack everybody in here. And they'll say, oh, well, we don't believe in God, but let's just go attack somebody we don't believe in. Do you see the logic behind it? Oh, I don't believe in so-and-so, but I'm just going to sit back and attack him. No, you do believe in him, and one day you'll have to answer to him. And the only reason you don't want to believe and you want to live in an illusion and get drunk and do drugs and all these other things is because you don't want to deal with the reality. And the reality is this, that God is going to one day judge this world. And if you're not saved, if you haven't placed your faith in Christ, folks, you'll split hell. I'm sorry, I'm not going to butter it over. There's too many preachers that come along and they just butter things over and they want to make people feel good about themselves. And look, folks, I hope you feel good about yourself. I hope you have some sort of self-esteem, and I hope you feel good about being a Christian, but let me tell you something. There's come a judgment day for the saved and the unsaved, and we need to understand that even though we're saved, that's not a license to get away with sin. God is still going to judge us, and we all still have to stand before the throne of God. You know, it just cracks me up. Oh, I'm going to attack something I don't even believe in. Real logical. Real smart. That's why the Bible says professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. And isn't it amazing, they're the ones that claim that they're the wise guys, you know? So one of the objections that people give me all the time, notice the Bible says these things are clearly seen. Just because I can't see, you know, I had an atheist tell me, I don't believe in God because I can't see God. I don't see Him. Where is He? And he says, if Jesus Christ appears in front of me, I'll believe it. But let me ask you a question. This building, I don't know when this building was built, but you know what, I can't see the builder, but you know what, I have enough brains to understand that somebody put this place together. I have another question. What is more complex, this little building that we have here, the world and the way things work together? If this world is more complex, wouldn't that demand that there would have to be a designer? And this is just to answer another atheist that attacked me recently. He says, oh, well, you have to apply that same logic to God because then God would have to be more complex. Well, let's think about that reasoning for a minute. Anybody knows that it's impossible for there within time to be an infinite amount of cause and effects. So if we go back far enough in time after cause, effect, cause, effect, cause, effect, there has to be a first cause or something that's actually outside of time, space, and matter. And what's amazing is any philosopher will admit it, but what's crazy is a lot of atheists will say, well, yeah, there's definitely an uncaused cause, but they won't admit it's God because they don't want to answer. And folks, I understand there are some things that we don't like to deal with, but you know what, if you lack a belief in God, then you need to change. You need to change that, and our society is really, really going downhill quick, and it's with this agenda that the public school system is pushing. And I'm sick of it, and I'm going to stand up. I mean, let's say, for example, the church just decided to go out, and I'm going to use more scripture here, but let's say, for example, we had a beach party. And we go out, and we go to the beach, and I see on the shore, I see like a sand castle on the shore. What idiot would say, oh, that just washed up on its own. I mean, how delusional would you have to be to, oh, it just washed up on its own. You know, somebody would say, no, there was an intelligent designer that made it. And so you have to apply that same argument of complexity to the universe. The universe, my friends, was designed. And by this time, usually when I talk to an atheist, if they're honest, if they haven't gotten really mad and left, they'll at least say, okay, yeah, there's a God. You're right, but how do you know it's your God? And that's what I was hoping they'd ask, right? Amen? And so God is the first cause. He's the uncaused cause. And notice it's a singular uncaused cause. There's only one God. There's not millions. And even a philosopher will tell you that there's only one. There's one uncaused cause. And they know that it has to be intelligent, and I believe it's loving. I believe it's the God of the Bible. And I believe He came down here and took on flesh. All the time, people are like, oh my, why would God allow certain things to happen? Let me ask you another question. And I don't want to just go on logic, logic, logic. I want to use the Bible. But some people need to hear this. All of us have a beginning and an end, right? Does God have any beginning? So why would us as finite people think that we can apply a finite understanding to an infinite being? I mean, you're going to tell me that you can apply a finite understanding to an infinite God. That you can't do that. That violates the rules of logic, and it actually violates the Bible. I'll also prove that tonight. So let's turn over to Genesis chapter 1 and verse number 13. So during this message I'm also going to use, because a lot of times I come at atheists with these arguments from the Bible. Then they'll try to correspond and argue a little bit, but what we're doing is we're actually going beyond that and proving their correspondence to be a fraud. So what they do is they actually dig themselves in a deeper hole. And praise God for that. So the Bible says in Genesis chapter 1 verse number 13, and you know God gave us these things. It's amazing. God gave us the Bible so that we could understand science before science itself even came out. We'll also prove that here. So the Bible says in Genesis 1 13, it says, In the evening and the morning where the third day says that God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens, to divide the light from the day, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years. I just want to pause there. Notice that it says it's to divide the day from the night. Did you notice in Genesis that God is just dividing things up? So when it comes to homosexuality, you better believe that the men behind this pulpit aren't backing down to the homo agenda. There's a division there. I'm sorry folks, whether you like it or not, there's a difference between a male and a female. It's just how God made it. The Bible says right in Genesis that God divided. And when you try and go against that and put together what God divided, it's an abomination, it's filthy, it's disgusting. And they may not get punished for it in this life like a Christian, but they'll have all eternity to deal with it in the future. We'll continue here. Verse 15. God said, And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon the earth. And it was so. Isn't that beautiful? You know, God created the sun. I mean, you just think of the sun. God created this great ball of fire in the sky, put it in a perfect spot, not too close where we'd burn up, not too far away where we'd freeze to death. In a perfect spot. You know what's amazing to me? You know, evolution is like an atheist's Bible. You take away my Bible, you beat me. I'm sorry. But if you take away an atheist's evolution, that's their Bible. That's all they have. And isn't it amazing that all scientists will say is, oh yeah, they come out and they just openly say, oh yeah, the sun is burning up 250 tons a second. But at the constant that the sun is burning, within just 100 years, or a thousand, excuse me, a million years, you know, a million years just seems crazy. But that's how evolutionists are. They're like little magicians. You know, you've got to bring out the big numbers. Try to be impressive, you know. Even though it's kind of illogical. But, you know, just one million years ago, the sun would have completely engulfed the earth. That's a scientific fact. And they're just now figuring, they're like, whoa, you know, what do we do with this? But they won't tell it to people because they don't want to admit they're wrong. But the sun is actually burning at a constant, and it's burning further and further down. So just a million years ago, do you realize our earth would have been completely engulfed by the sun? Whoa, no, but it's logical to believe in evolution. I think the earth's millions of years old. You're an idiot. If you think that, you're an idiot. You know, and they're pushing this propaganda, you know, the moon. The Bible says, let the lesser light be for the night. I just love that, how God said, hey, this is the lesser light, and that's to rule the night. So you can just have the cool of the night. And I imagine back in Bible days, they probably slept in tents. Sometimes I wish I was in Bible days. I love the outdoors. But, you know, the moon is getting further and further away. And the moon, folks, I don't know if any of you know this, but the moon causes our tides. And it's getting further away. And so, just one, let's just use one million years. They say 6.2 billion, which is just insane. But, you know, let's just say one million years, for example. With the constant that the moon is moving away, we would have been flooded just a million years ago. And the moon still causes tidal waves today. It still causes tidal waves, but oh no, it's just so logical to believe in evolution. I think the earth is just billions of years old. I had an atheist tell me, oh, you don't believe we're related to that grass outside? Hitler said, if you can tell a lie big enough, loud enough, and often enough, people will believe it. And he says, if you can let me control the textbooks, I'll control the state. And so what they've done is they've infiltrated, you know, it's amazing. I don't like to get on the subject of evolution with an atheist because they just freak out. They're like, oh my, I can't believe you don't believe in evolution. Why would I? It's stupid. You have to actually defy science. Oh, it's scientific. Well, what about this? Oh, I never thought of that. Oh, it never really even crossed my mind. Because we live in a school where it's just fill in the blank, fill in the blank, fill in the blank. They're not taught to logic. They're not taught to reason. I thank God I was in a home where I at least got taught how to logic, you know? And you know what all these atheists have in common? They've been attacking us online. They put out a little two-hour documentary trying to expose the one pastor and I put out, Brother Brandon, put out a two-hour documentary. You know what all these atheists have in common? Video games. They all play video games. And Harry Potter, you get on their channel, they're in fantasy land. That's all they ever do. They can't think for themselves. They sit back and they drink Coke all day and sit behind the video game system and then wonder why, oh, you're crazy, brother pal, for believing in a creator. Oh, you're insane. No, you're crazy. And you need to get off the video game system and somebody needs to preach to them the gospel of Jesus Christ and so that they can be saved. That's what we need. And I'm sick and tired of these stinking video games. Messing with people. And you know what another thing that's growing in our society? You know what another real bad thing? And scientists are like, oh, my, I wonder how this is. Anxiety. How many kids can't get out of their house? You know, I had a guy come in my office at my job. So much peer pressure. I don't know if I can handle it. I just got to smoke. I don't want to do it, but I got to smoke for my friends. I'm thinking, man, why don't I start a peer group where we just don't smoke? Does that make you feel better? But it just blows my mind the way society is going. It's just against the Bible. It's an attack on the Bible. And we need to stand firm for the Bible. Another thing they say is, oh, well, carbon dating. Well, it's amazing to me. You carbon date something, and it's alive one day, dead the next, and they carbon dated at 8,000 years old. Oh, but that's the number one proof. That's the number one proof we have for evolution. Well, I'm sorry. You failed. And they didn't involve that in any textbooks. They just lie. Ernest Haeckel, one of the most popular philosophers and teachers of evolution, that was a friend of Darwin. They were around the same time. Him and Darwin were real close friends. He started this whole idea of evolution along with Darwin, right? But Darwin didn't have DNA, like Pastor covered this morning. Darwin didn't have any of that. But Ernest Haeckel, this guy, drew these fake drawings to make a human embryo and a dog embryo look exactly alike. And he was convicted by his own university of being a fraud, a liar, a secular university. But guess what? You go to any public school here in Durand, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, even down south in Texas, you know whose textbooks they got down there? Ernest Haeckel's. I understand he was convicted of fraud over 130 years ago. You know, sometimes, I mean, I get that it takes a while sometimes to get textbooks updated, but I think that's a little long. And I think there's an agenda behind this. And as the people of God, we need to just take a stand. Folks, I'm so tired of people not taking a stand. I'm not saying that any of you in here aren't. You know, I'm not trying to sound like a great guy or something. I just study this stuff. I love it. I love science. I love the Bible. You know, oh, I can't believe you believe the Bible. Well, let's logic. Let's say, for example, four different guys, one from this direction, maybe one peeks out of the baptism, one from this direction, one from this direction. They all come, and they don't know each other. This is the stage. They don't know each other, but they all come and say the same thing to you. You would believe them. Number one, they couldn't have made it up as a joke. Number two, the Bible says out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established. You do understand that the four gospels were dug up in four completely different areas, four completely different times, four completely different authors, and they all match up? Oh, but it's so illogical to believe the Bible. I can't believe you believe that bunch of fairy tales. Well, you know what? I can't believe that you'd actually deny a historical fact, which is the resurrection of Christ. Everybody knows that when Christ resurrected, all of history was shaken. All the calendars were reset. Not Hitler, but Caesar and Augustine. They turned to one another, and they were so shocked. And it's not like, you know, I was talking to an atheist the other day, down in the park with Garrett. He's not here today, but I was talking to an atheist the other day. He goes, oh, well, you know, what did he say? He said something so silly. Oh, well, you know, the centurions, they just wanted to be Christian. They just felt like being Christian. How brainwashed do you have to be? Is it like one day, okay, this guy dies, and he raises from the dead, and he defies death, but, you know, they're just gonna follow him because they just feel like he might have something correct. No, I follow him because it's a historical fact that he rose again, and the Bible says, he said, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life. Let's continue here. You know, it's funny. I heard Bill Nye come on the other day, and Bill Nye, this guy, who knows Bill Nye? Probably everybody, okay, yeah. This guy, he comes on, and he goes, oh, you know, your world just becomes so fantastically complicated when you don't believe in evolution. Well, you know what? Let me tell you something. You know when your world becomes fantastically complicated? When you don't believe in creation! That's when your world becomes insane, and you just don't know right from wrong, and you say, well, I think this might be right, but you know what? Kids need standards these days. They need somebody to tell them what to do. And somebody, you know, they get all confused as to what's wrong and what's right, and they have kind of an idea that maybe you shouldn't go out and kill people, although we're getting to the point now where kids are so desensitized by these Call of Duty games, all these video games, that they just go out and shoot a bunch of people and don't feel bad about it, and let me tell you why, because there's an agenda to push it down our throats Why? Because they're just a speck of dust. They don't really matter, but God sees that, and it grieves God. God wants nothing to do with it, and to all you Calvinists out there that think that God just foreordains all this, you know what? God said, choose you this day whom you'll serve. He didn't say, oh, I chose for you. No, He says, choose. And every day, you and I know that we all wake up with a free will, and we can either choose to accept or reject the gift of God, and we can also choose to do the right thing and the wrong thing, and we need to apply that to our lives. Oh, your world just becomes so fantastically complicated. You know, and it amazes me, these professing scientists, they sit back. Let's just look at Steve Hawking. He's like, I'm not trying to be an idiot here. Let's just look at him. He's in a wheelchair all his life. Can't even talk. They put his glasses on just right, and they have the Hollywood movies to make it look like these guys that wear these glasses and look super goofy are just so amazing. And you know what? I've met some guys that are pretty smart like that. But you know what? Stephen Hawking was a fool, and he's burning in hell right now. And that breaks my heart. I wish he would have got saved. I wish Steve Hawking would have placed his faith in Christ. You know? So they'll say, well, why do you believe the Bible? Well, two or three witnesses the Bible says, I've got like a ton. You've got Moses, and Moses just happened to line up with Jesus. All of these happened just to line up with each other. You know, the death of Christ was prophesied over a thousand years before he even came in Isaiah 53. The Bible says he'd be bruised for our iniquities and by his stripes we'd be healed. And that he'd raise again, according to the scriptures, the Bible says. You have to be an idiot not to believe in Christianity. You know, I'm not just preaching from atheism to God. I'm saying from atheism to Christ. That's what people need. They don't need just to a belief in, well, a higher power, a lot of people say. Oh, I believe in a higher power. You know? And, you know, people ask me all the time. They're like, you know, and this is the number one question that I get from the atheists. They'll say, okay, God's real. I'll admit it. But let me ask you this. Why is it that God created this world, knowing the beginning from the end, knowing that we would sin? And that's a good question, right? I'm not going to say that's a bad question. Let me ask you another question, though, because I like to ask questions. You know, we have to ask the logical questions. That's what the schools need. It drives me nuts. I could never be a public school teacher. I'd get fired probably on my first day because we'd be doing logic, logic, logic. How in the world? Let's say, for example, Aidan, you're probably going to seek a wife one day. Let's say you might already be seeking. I don't know. You're a little young yet, but we'll get there. Let's say, for example, Aidan, that you were locked in a room full of just ugly women. There's no such thing as an ugly woman, all right? The beauty's in the eye of the beholder. But let's say, for example, you were locked in a room with just girls that weren't very, like, oh, my goodness. You know, the boogeyman would be better than this. You know, if you were locked in a room and all you saw was ugly, would you know what beautiful is? No. If you only felt hot water, would you know what cold is? If we only knew what positive was, would we know what negative is? So how in the world, explain this to me, how in the world would we know what love is if we didn't understand hurt and pain? Instead of asking me, well, why did God create this world where man fell? And, folks, whether that shakes your faith or not, you know as well as I do that every day we wake up with a free will, and we can either choose to do right or we can choose to do wrong, and our decisions do affect other people. They do. And we would not be able to understand the cross. God wouldn't have been able to demonstrate his love unless things worked out the way that he did. And the Bible says that one day he's going to restore all things and that he's going to come down here. The Bible says that he'll wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death. Amen. You know, people are like, oh, death is so terrible. You know what? It's probably not as bad as you think. Because on this side of eternity, I mean, we're in a drop of a bucket compared to eternity. I mean, why is everybody getting such... And I understand. Loved ones die, and we love people. But you know what? On the other side, they'll be there if they've trusted in Christ, and every man will be given a chance. So, like I said, evolution is the atheist's Bible. And it's funny. It's just been debunked, debunked, debunked, and yet people are like, oh my, let's just keep believing. You know? But I'm crazy to them. I'm the insane one. I had one of them tell me, you pay too much attention in church. One thing that really kept me on track growing up, people are like, oh, you were so sheltered. You bet I was. And I'm so thankful for it looking back. My parents sheltered me, and when I was 18 years old, I went out and I got my first job. I was 18 years old. And I realized when I got my job, I said, there's no way I could have handled this if I was 15. There's no way I could have handled all the insanity, you know, all the crazy stuff that goes on in the workplace, and I'm so thankful. I'm so thankful that they took care of me, and they actually taught me how to reason. I'm thankful for that. And you know, the one thing that kept me away from the world, the Bible says pure religion and undefiled is this, that you take in the widows and help the fatherless. But he says also, he says what you need to do is, he says you need to remain unspotted from the world. And you know, that's pure religion, the Bible says. And you know, the one thing that kept me unspotted was when my dad took me out. He took me out soul winning constantly, constantly. Every Saturday we went out soul winning, and I wasn't very good at it. I was kind of a shy guy. Still I'm a little shy sometimes, but you know, he took me out, and we went and went door after door after door, and I got to see the result of Islam, the result of Judaism even, the result of Hinduism, and just how messed up these people were. I got to see the result of atheism too, and that's why I hate it so much. That's the one thing that like, it's like wow. How crazy do you have to be? But I saw all these things, and it kept me out of sin, and it kept me out of things, because I'd look at a drunkard and I'd say wow, he's got a Bud Light next to him. That's what that does to somebody? My goodness. You know, a guy sleeping in his own vomit in his front yard in the summertime. You know, I'd see some other adulterous woman that was running around, and I saw the anger and the fighting that would go on, and just the hatred when the other man would show up, or the other woman in certain cases, and it would just, it bothered me, and I thought man, I don't want that in my marriage. I don't want to be a drunk deadbeat. I want to do something with my life, and that's what kept me out of sin. So if you're like, man, my kids are falling away. I'm not referring to anybody in here, but there's a lot of kids that fall away from the faith, and I don't know why. Take them soul-winning. Do something that worked for me. Get them under hard, good preaching. Get them under a man of God that can mentor them and help them. Yes, and shelter them, and I said it. I do believe it. It is fine to shelter somebody. So they'll say, well, how do you know, how do you know it's your God? And I'm going to close with this. They'll say, well, how do you, there's so many gods out there. Let's go ahead and turn to, let's turn to John 5, 24. But we really need to focus on having a burden for these people. They just, they can't, a lot of them just can't really reason, and we need to help them. I don't blame a lot of them who grow up in a public school system where you have a hard time reasoning. I really can't. But the Bible does say on the same token that the fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. A lot of people stop there, but the Bible says in the next part, it says they've done horrible, wicked things. So a lot of times, it's wickedness. John 5, 24, Jesus says, verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. And folks, there is no other people group out there that has a risen savior that said those words. And this is before he even died. I mean, there's such a big case for creation. You know, a pastor and I, it's funny, these atheists, they put out a video exposing a video on eternal security. I mean, wow. I'd like to see us put out a documentary on creation, proving evolution, because there's really nothing out there. I googled it before I came. I thought to myself, well, maybe there's somebody who destroys evolution. And I explain this to every atheist before they get saved. They'll come to faith in God. Then you have to tell them, okay, look, they'll usually be the ones to say, well, why the Bible? Why not the Quran? Well, the Quran was written by a pedophile, and it's only one witness. I'm not going to put my faith in one witness. Oh, what about the Book of Mormon? Now, same story. Angel Moroni came to one guy. Unhistorical, unreliable, and unbiblical. So I put my faith in God's word, because there's multiple, multiple, that's what the Bible says. That out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established. I have one more scripture. 1 Timothy 3.16. We'll go ahead and close. The Bible says, and without controversy. And so, in other words, Paul's saying, no doubt about it, that's what without controversy means, great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifest in the flesh. And so, here's the difference between the two world religions. Most people are trying, like the Tower of Babel, to work their way up to God, trying to be good enough to just get up there and, you know, latch onto the kingdom. But God actually came down here. That's the difference. And actually, you know, no other religion believes that. None. They'll all say, well, God, you know, God is, there's one religion, I'll give them that. They say, oh, I'm God. All of us are God. You know, like polytheistic. But, you know, if we have a beginning and an ending, then we're not God. So it just falls apart. But God actually came down here. He took on the form of a man. The Bible says he was tempted in all points yet, as we are, like as we are, yet without sin. The Bible says he went to the cross willingly, knowing what, I mean, greater love hath no man than this. I tell, I run into these Jehovah's Witnesses and they're like, Jesus couldn't have been God. I'm like, no, he had to have been. And they say, well, why? Because greater love hath no man than this, than that a man lay down his life for his friends. I see people lay down their lives for each, I've seen it. I saw a motorcycler one time, I was in Bancroft. A guy laid down his life for a motorcycler, pushed him out of the way, because a semi was coming the other way. And this guy was, but in order for God to demonstrate his love, wouldn't he have to lay down his own life, if greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends? Does that make sense? God loves us more than anybody, and God himself would have had to come and lay down his own life for his creation. And that is why we have the element of hurt and suffering, and that's why we can understand love. False prophets, they don't want you to go soul winning. I'm just going to say that right now. They want to make you feel good. Let me be honest, soul winning is not always fun. False prophets will say, oh don't worry, it's all predetermined. Folks, if I believed it was predetermined, I wouldn't be so serious about winning people to Christ. It's not predetermined. The Bible says that he's willing that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So bid them to come in. You know, I just, I got to see what sin does to people, and it just blew my mind. And I'd read the Scripture and it says, sin when it is finished bringeth forth death. And I've seen many people die. And we need to just pull together these people. God, I'll go ahead and close with this. Random thought that just came to my mind. Look, I'm not trying to offend anybody, but just for a lot, because there's a lot of young ladies in this world that think that tattoos make them more attractive. Ladies, if you want to attract a good guy, don't get tattoos. Please, for your own sake. I look at it and I'm like, ugh. It's just ugh. I mean, to me it's just absolutely disgusting. It makes me want to throw up. I don't care how beautiful your face is. If you've got a tattoo on your body, my goodness. You know, and if you've done that, if you've made that mistake, God bless you. You know what? Just don't go and keep getting more. You know, none of us are perfect. You know, and I can't choose not to preach on something just because somebody might be living in it. Then I couldn't preach on anything. I couldn't preach on adultery. We couldn't preach on anything. So I'll go ahead and close with a word of prayer.
