All right, so if you guys have paid attention over the last six months, I've been doing a series called Fundamental Truths and I started with fundamental truths about the rapture. We had the big white board up here and talked about the timing of the rapture, different characteristics of the rapture. Then I transitioned to fundamental truths about the Holy Ghost and we talked about the distinct person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit and different attributes associated with Him. And now tonight I've decided to preach fundamental truths about creation and the reason why is because all of us have to be shored up on even the most fundamental aspect of the Christian faith because even creation is under attack today and if we aren't knowledgeable about what the Bible says when it comes to the very beginning and what happened and how God created the earth, then how can we defend creation to those who would mock it? And you say, well, who mocks creation? I mean, who would do that? Well, the atheists of our world today and those who reject God, they laugh and they scoff and they mock at the creation story. The reason why I think a message like this is important for all of us is because today, in fact, I would ascertain that the creation story is under more attack than it ever has been because of all the lies coming from the world of atheism and all of their quote-unquote scientists. Now before I got up here to preach, Brother Dustin actually handed me this Bible. This is a King James Bible. Now in it, we see that an atheist, evidently, he got his hands on this before someone else could and he started scribbling in some notes on Genesis chapter 1, making fun of, mocking and scoffing the creation story. Now I'm not going to go through each one of his stupid notes and debunk them one by one because frankly, this is so dumb and the things that this guy wrote in here are just so stupid, it's not worth my time. But this little twerp who got his hands on this Bible thought that he debunked the creation story when he went in here and started writing all of his stupid little notes because atheists are so puffed up with pride, they believe that their little evolution story makes more sense than what the Bible clearly states occurred at creation in Genesis chapter 1, which is that in the beginning, God, it's as simple as that, in the beginning, God. It's not in the beginning Darwinism. It's not in the beginning an amoeba that slowly evolved into a monkey that slowly evolved into a human being that has the ability to discern right from wrong. You know what I call that? Stupid. That's dumb. That's foolishness. And the Bible says, the fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. And whoever's responsible for these notes here, I'm not even sure how we got our hands on this Bible, but whoever's responsible for defacing this, Genesis chapter 1 and making fun of it and mocking it, this person is a fool who's going to split hell wide open one day and wish, wish that he accepted the God of the Bible when he had the opportunity to do so. So I'm going to put that down there. The creation story is under attack. And so we need to make sure we defend it. We need to make sure we're shored up on this important doctrine. The Bible says in Genesis 1, 1, in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Now, if you want to figure out what happens next, go to Jeremiah 4. And I'm just kidding. Don't do that. So there's obviously there's a false doctrine out there called the gap theory, which states that in between Genesis 1, 1 and Genesis 1, 2, there were millions of years and there was a pre-Adamic race and that God wiped those people out and then created mankind later. Now, I'm not going to debunk that throughout the whole sermon here because then we'll be here for an hour and a half. But folks, common sense tells us that there isn't a gap between Genesis 1, 1 and Genesis 1, 2, because as we go through the creation story, we see that God calls the creation good, very good in some instances. That's because what he made was good. Before the fall, there was no curse. It was Adam and Eve who messed up. Ultimately, originally what God created was good. And there wasn't a gap between verse 1 and 2. The reason why people have come up with that is to try and fit the worldly philosophies into the Bible, millions of years and science falsely so-called. Now go to Romans chapter 1 to start things off, Romans chapter 1. The Bible tells us God created heaven and that God created earth. There is no more fundamental truth than that. God created everything you see out there. God created the sky, God created the planets, God created the earth, God created you. He created animals. And my first point is that Jesus Christ is creator. Jesus Christ is creator. Now in Romans chapter 1, look at verse number 18, where the Bible says there, for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness, because that which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Folks, there's no excuse whatsoever for atheists to deny the existence of God, because all they have to do is look outside their window to see the fingerprint of his existence. There's no excuse for the adherence of science falsely so-called. I believe in science, but I believe in science that makes sense. I believe in biblical science. I believe in creationism, not the science falsely so-called, which was thought up by God-hating reprobates who've tried to disprove the Lord Jesus Christ and disprove the Bible through their teachings, because they hate him that much. There's no excuse for people who hate God. There's no excuse for people who want to argue that God doesn't exist. Just look outside. Look at the creation. Now, some people would say, I would believe in Jesus if he showed himself to me. I would believe in Jesus if there was some sort of proof that he exists. Well, according to Romans 1, it says the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, and again, so that they are without excuse. All you have to do is look at his creation. That's all the proof you need. All you have to do is look at the Bible. Look at the Word of God. Look at the parallels between the Old Testament and the New Testament. Look at how perfect the Word of God is, and it's without error that it's been preserved, that it's been inspired for all generations. Look at what the Bible says. Read it cover to cover, and you'll see the hand of God in this book that you have in your laps tonight. But of course, that's not enough for them. For these folks who say there isn't enough proof, for these folks who don't think creation is enough to prove that there is a God, and they're going to have to answer to him one day, the reality is simple. They're going to have to change their minds at some point, and they better do it before it's too late. They better get saved, and they better get a clue, and they better wake up before it's too late, because Romans 1 tells us they're without excuse. Now some would say this isn't a very effective method of apologetics. Now apologetics is a realm in which pseudo-intellectuals debate atheists to try and prove God exists. I don't believe in apologetics. First of all, because I don't believe we should be apologizing for God. I also don't think anyone's ever going to get saved by spouting off and memorizing talking points that'll win you some brownie points in a debate. That's not how we evangelize. And at the end of the day, I'm not concerned with people who would say, well, I don't think there's enough proof for God. Here's the proof. Instead of apologetics, what we need to support is Bible preaching. That's what we do at Steadfast Baptist Church is we preach the Bible. We don't do apologetics because we don't apologize for God. Look at Romans 1, 21. It says, because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. The Bible says fools deny God. And you know another word that could be used for fool, you could use it interchangeably with idiot. Morons. You'd have to be a moron to deny that God created the world you live in right now. Go to Colossians chapter 1. My first point was Jesus is creator. Jesus is creator. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 3, and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world have been hidden. God who created all things by Jesus Christ. God the Father created all things by Christ. He made the universe by his son, Jesus Christ. Everything we know, everything we see was made by him. And it was the creator, Brother Owen talked about this morning, who was beaten and smitten and tortured for us. The God who created this world, the God who created those who turned against him. He was the one who sacrificed himself for us. Now this demonstrates his power, this demonstrates his excellency, this demonstrates his majesty that Jesus Christ is creator. He's not just savior, he's almighty God. He is creator. Colossians 1, where I had you turn, look at verse number 16. For by him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created by him and for him and he is before all things and by him all things consist. Everything in heaven, everything on earth, everything that's visible, everything that's invisible, it was made by Christ. And like I said earlier, it's the creation itself that's the mark of God's handiwork. Let's go to Hebrews 11 now, Hebrews chapter 11. Common sense would tell us that creation, common sense would tell us creation and evolution are two world views that are entirely, they contradict themselves. They're entirely incompatible. That's what common sense would say and I'm sure you guys would all agree with that. You have to pick a side, God or Darwin, you can't have both. Now the milk toasts, some of the liberal Christians out there, they'll try to have both God and Darwin with their theistic evolution theory, but the Bible tells us you have to make a choice that can't be both. Look at verse number three in Hebrews chapter 11. The Bible tells us there through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. So what's the Bible telling us here in Hebrews 11 and three? The things that we see right now, they didn't come from things that appear, but that's exactly what evolution tells us, that everything we see right now evolved from something that had already been created or something that had already randomly appeared. That's the atheistic creation story that the world at one point was nothing more than water and then magically an amoeba appeared. Basically over millions of years that amoeba evolved into a monkey, first it evolved into a fish, then a monkey, then a person. Absolute hilarity, absolute foolishness, absolute stupidity, but is the creation story taught in public schools today? Is the creation story taught to children who are learning about this massive world they've been born into? No. You know what's taught? Evolution. Darwinism. Because this world has spit in the face of God and decided it doesn't want anything to do with him. Go back to Genesis chapter one. The most fundamental truth about our faith, God created the heaven and the earth. It wasn't a process known as evolution and we reject theistic evolution. We take the creation story seriously because if you get to pick and choose parts of the Bible that you want to take literally or actually believe, then you might as well just throw the whole thing out. My second point as you go back to Genesis one is that God created light on the first day. Look at verse two. The Bible tells us there, and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. So earth in its earliest form was just water darkness on the face of the deep. There was no light yet. The Holy Spirit we see here is present at creation. Look at verse two. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the water. The Trinity is apparent in the creation account because God is three distinct persons, yet one God. Look at verse three. And God said, let there be light and there was light. And God saw the light that it was good and God divided the light from the darkness. So God makes partition here, a partition between the light and the darkness. Now I look at this and I see an important truth. You can't just take it at face value. Yeah. Okay. He divided light from the darkness, but we have to apply this spiritually as well because there should be also a division between the light and the darkness in the world. There should be a division between the light and the darkness in our lives. This is why the Bible tells us in Ephesians chapter five and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. And so God commands us to repudiate the works of darkness. God commands us to walk as children of light. And the reason why is because the sick twisted reprobates of this world, they're the ones who walk in the darkness. The criminals of this world, they're the ones who walk in the darkness. That's why oftentimes you'll see robbery take place at night. You'll see crimes, violent crimes take place at night where the light isn't shining on the perpetrator and so they can't get caught. Bad things happen at night, which is why the darkness represents sin in the Bible and God made a partition between the light and the darkness going all the way back to creation. But the Bible tells us that men love darkness rather than light. This is exactly what we learn in John chapter three, where the Bible tells us, and this is the condemnation that light is coming to the world and men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil for everyone that do with evil, hated the light, neither cometh to the light lest his deeds should be reproved. Unfortunately, those who are given over to just doing all manner of wickedness and sin, they don't want anything to do with the light. They're practically allergic to it, but we should walk as children of light, the Bible says. Evil people hate the light and we shouldn't act like they do. Genesis one, look at verse five, and God called the light day and the darkness he called night and the evening and the morning were the first day. Now my theory on this is that God was the source of light described here in verse five, just assures he's going to be the source of light in the new heaven and new earth. My third point is God created the atmosphere and water on the second day. Look at verse six, and God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament and divided the waters, which were under the firmament from the waters, which were above the firmament. And it was so, and God called the firmament heaven and the evening and the morning were the second day. So the firmament in the midst of the waters, the Bible tells us here is where God placed it to divide the waters from the waters. Now, how does this make sense? Well, I'll explain here in a moment. The firmament is called heaven. Now we know there are three heavens, the sky, space, outer space, and God's dwelling. We also know, according to science, real science, not science falsely so-called, that there are atmospheric layers. You've got the troposphere, you've got the stratosphere, you've got the mesosphere, you've got the thermosphere, and then you've got the exosphere. The atmosphere goes all the way out into outer space, and there are different levels of the atmosphere. So when the Bible tells us that the waters which were, when it talks about the waters which were above the firmament, when there's a firmament that divides the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament, I believe what it's referring to is the troposphere, which is part of the atmosphere, it's one of the layers of the atmosphere. And Wikipedia says regarding this, I'll read you from the Wikipedia article I found here, the troposphere is the lowest layer of earth's atmosphere and is also where nearly all weather conditions take place. It contains approximately 75 percent of the atmosphere's mass and 99 percent of the total mass of water vapor and aerosols. So this is why the Bible tells us that the firmament divides the waters from the waters. Obviously there's water on the surface of the earth, and then there's waters above the firmament, there's waters above that first heaven, and that would be water vapor which is part of the troposphere. That's where our weather patterns take place. It's a division of the sea from the troposphere, which contains water vapor. Now my fourth point is that God created dry land on the third day. God created dry land on the third day. Let's take a look at what the Bible says in verse number nine. And God said, let the waters under the heaven be gathered together into one place and let the dry land appear, and it was so. And God called the dry land earth, and the gathering together of the waters called he seas, and God saw that it was good. Now notice it says in verse 10 that he called the dry land earth, because that word earth doesn't always have to mean the whole planet. It could also just be talking about soil or land, and that's what it's talking about there. Look at verse 11. And God said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself upon the earth, and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself after his kind, and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day. Now the earth brought forth grass and herb, the Bible says, yielding seed after his kind, because everything brings forth after his kind. This is why Romans 1 tells us, for the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. I know we had a bozo show up for soul winning yesterday, who tried to tell us he got saved magically regenerated after reading the Bible. But the Bible tells us that you get saved from faith to faith. That seed is planted. Everything brings forth after its kind spiritually as well, not just physically. And we see that salvation occurs from faith to faith. You have to have someone who's saved show you what it takes to go to heaven. That's how seeds are planted. And ultimately, that's how they're watered. Look at what the Bible says here in verse number 14, Genesis chapter one, verse 14. And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and for years. And so my fifth point is that God set lights in the firmament on the fourth day. God set lights in that firmament we talked about on the fourth day. Now those lights, that's how we construct our calendar. That's how they constructed their calendar in the biblical times. Of course, the biblical calendar was based on the moon. Our calendar is based on the sun. That's what we use to basically construct our calendar. And that's what we use to know what time it is and all the rest of it. Look at verse 15. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth and it was so. And God made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth and to rule over the day and over the night and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. So He sets the light in the firmament there, the lights on the fourth day. The lights are placed in the firmament of heaven to determine, or I should say to divide the day from the night. And this is designed to be for signs. This is designed to be for seasons. This is designed to be for years. The sun, the moon, and stars, folks, that's what was placed in the firmament of the heaven here. The sun, the moon, and the stars. Now here's a little bit of information on the firmament because this isn't the first time we see it brought up in the creation story. If you look back at verse number seven in Genesis chapter one, I know we already read this but I want to go over it one more time. If you look back at verse number seven, the Bible tells us there, and God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament and it was so. And God called the firmament heaven and the evening and the morning were the second day. So the firmament which divided the waters from the waters is called heaven. Now Genesis chapter one verses fifteen through seventeen tells us that God set the lights in the firmament of the heaven. So that might at first glance seem a little confusing because we know that the sun isn't in our atmosphere. The sun has not been placed by God in between the waters that have been divided from the waters, that firmament. The sun isn't there. So is there another heaven? Well like I said earlier, there are three heavens. Flat earthers though, they'll abuse this scripture. They'll totally abuse this scripture and twist it and they'll totally contort it basically to promote their low IQ cosmology. And that's what it is. It's low IQ cosmology and it's designed to make the Bible look stupid. It's designed to make the Bible look foolish. And it's preyed on by the God haters. And Satan is using flat earthers today folks. It's a satanic doctrine. It's a satanic false doctrine designed to make people scoff at the creation account. Now what they'll say, these flat earthers, is they'll read verses fifteen there. What I read to you earlier, Genesis one fifteen through nineteen, they'll read that and they'll say, well you see, there's a glass dome above the earth. It's covered by literal glass. Well that's wrong. And in fact, a six year old can figure out that the earth isn't covered by a glass dome. That's ridiculous. That's stupid. In Acts chapter five, the Bible tells us, you don't have to turn there, why was it remained? Was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. First Corinthians eight. And you're probably wondering where I'm going with this, I'll explain it in a minute. First Corinthians eight. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him, and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Hebrews one eight. But unto the Son he saith, thy throne, O God, is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. Now Acts chapter five uses the word God to describe the Holy Spirit. First Corinthians chapter eight verse six uses the word God to describe the Father. Hebrews one eight uses the word God to describe the Lord Jesus Christ. So we see one word, God, being used to describe Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Why? Because the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. One word used to describe each of those three persons. Now similarly, when it comes to creation, one word, heaven or firmament, can be used to describe the heaven that is the sky you look at when you look up into the sky. The firmament that divides the waters from the waters. You could use the word heaven or firmament to describe that. You could use the word heaven to describe outer space, and you could use the word heaven obviously to describe God's dwelling place where God is right now. I can prove this to you. Ezekiel chapter 10. Ezekiel chapter 10. And while you do that, I'm going to read from 2 Corinthians 12. I said that there are three heavens. Let's prove it. While you're going to Ezekiel 10, the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 12, I knew a man in Christ above 14 years ago, whether in the body I cannot tell or whether out of the body I cannot tell, God knoweth such an one caught up to the third heaven. Now if there's only one heaven, this verse doesn't make any sense. There's one, but it was divided at creation into three. And Paul refers to the third heaven, which means that there's a second and a first heaven. In Ezekiel chapter 10, we see God's dwelling place described. Ezekiel looks up and he sees a vision of where God is. And notice what it says in verse number one. Then I looked and behold, in the firmament. So firmament can be used in the heaven describing the waters that are divided from the waters. Firmament can be used to describe outer space and we see firmament used to describe their God's dwelling place. It says in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims, there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone as the appearance of the likeness of a throne. So Ezekiel, he gets a vision of heaven. This would be the third heaven. This is where God dwells right now. This is where the Lord Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God the Father. And that word firmament, you see it there being used also within God's dwelling place in Ezekiel chapter number 10. So I talked about the sun, I talked about the moon there in Genesis chapter one. And I believe the greater light would be the sun, the lesser light would be the moon. The Bible tells us that they were placed in the firmament of the heaven. Now I believe the sun represents man and the moon represents woman. Go to 1 Corinthians 11 and let's talk about this real quickly, 1 Corinthians chapter 11. The sun represents man, the moon represents woman. Now we were in 1 Corinthians 11 earlier, so I shortened this part of my sermon a little bit because Brother Owen already ripped some face on how men should have short hair and women should have long hair, it's kind of sad that we even have to preach about that in our culture today where you can't tell if the guy you're looking at is even really a guy. So he looks like an effeminate little queer. It's sickening. But of course we have to preach the whole counsel of God, especially the division that should be made between men and women, that men should act like men and women should act like women. So I appreciated that aspect of your sermon. And so let's read verse 3 together. The Bible says, but I would have you know, in 1 Corinthians 11, verse 3, but I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ. Uh oh. The censorship police will come after you for that one, look what it says in the rest of the verse. And the head of the woman is the man and the head of Christ is God. It's not politically correct to say that you serve the Lord Jesus Christ. It's not politically correct to say that the head of every woman is the man. Look at verse 4, every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered dishonor with his head. We covered that in the morning. Verse 5, but every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonor with her head, for that is even all one as if she were shaven. Verse 6, for if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, for as much as he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man. Men were created in the image of God, the Bible says, not women. The moon, similarly the moon, it reflects the light of the sun. It doesn't emit its own light, it reflects the light of the sun. The moon's light, in other words, is of the sun, just as sure as the woman is of the man. Now there are folks out there who would say, no, no, no, you got that all wrong. Men and women are the same. The androgynous agenda being promoted in popular culture today, well if men and women are the same, then I guess the sun and moon are the same too. That's dumb. Go to Genesis chapter 37, and we can prove this further, Genesis chapter 37. In Genesis 37, we read about Joseph's dream. And we see further proof that man is the sun, woman is the moon, and the stars even represent something, which I'll get to here once you flip over to Genesis chapter number 37. It's not popular to say there's a difference between men and women because our society has gone absolutely crazy, and that's what happens when you reject this. You come up with evolution. You come up with millions of years. You come up with an amoeba evolved into a person. You come up with these magical fairy tales they tell the children in school. That's child abuse. They say it's child abuse to teach your child the Bible. No, I think it's child abuse to teach your child the atheistic worldview that says we're nothing more than stardust, which then permits people to devalue life completely because what's the point if we're all animals anyway? And you wonder why we have a bunch of mass shootings today. Genesis 37, look at verse 9. And he dreamed, this is Joseph, his dream, it says, and he dreamed yet another dream and told it his brethren and said, behold, I have dreamed a dream more and behold the sun and the moon and the 11 stars made obeisance to me and he told it to his father and to his brethren and his father rebuked him and said unto him, what is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Now listen to this, shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee, to the earth? Notice the sequence that Joseph's father rebukes him in here, he says, I, which corresponds to the sun, because the sun was in the dream, shall I, the sun, and thy mother, which corresponds directly to the moon in verse number 9, and thy brethren. So what's left? If I, the father, is the sun, and if Joseph's mother is the moon, who's left? His brethren. They would be the stars. So the stars represent his brethren. If I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee, to the earth, so his father correlates to the sun, his mother correlates to the moon, the stars correlate to Joseph's brethren. That's who are represented here. And so we see that even in the creation of God, it's not something we can just take at face value. Obviously, if it's your first time reading the Bible, you probably will. But as you go through over and over again, don't be lazy about Genesis chapter 1. Don't just say to yourself, okay, I've read, I've read the creation story. I'm good. No, there are deeper truths that you can study out for yourself when it comes to the creation story. Now go to 2 Kings chapter 23, 2 Kings chapter 23. The Bible tells us as you turn to 2 Kings chapter 23, in 1 Corinthians 15, it says, all flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial, but the glory of the celestial is one and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars, for one star defereth from another star in glory. You're turning to 2 Kings chapter 23. I just wanted to mention real quickly there that we see God reveals astronomical truth in His word, folks. You can find truth about the planets. You can find truth about the universe. You don't have to go down to your local observatory and you certainly don't have to go down to your local museum to learn about the sun, the moon, the stars, and yes, even the planets because guess what, science, it's catching up to the Bible. It's not the other way around. These folks who are coming up with new quote unquote discoveries in their laboratory, they're catching up to this. Now the context of 2 Kings chapter 23, real quickly before I go into that actually, I just wanted to say in 1 Corinthians 15 there, it says that one star defereth from another star in glory. So again, we see astronomical truth. The Bible tells us about celestial bodies. It tells us about terrestrial bodies. It tells us about outer space, that second heaven. Now in 1 Kings 23, Josiah, he makes a commitment to a revival. He makes a commitment to a revival in Judah and look what he says in verse number 3. And the king stood by a pillar and made a covenant before the Lord to walk after the Lord and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all their heart and all their soul to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book and all the people stood to the covenant. And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priest of the second order and the keepers of the door to bring forth out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels that were made for Baal and for the grove and for all the host of heaven. And he burned them without Jerusalem and the fields of Kydron and he carried the ashes of them unto Bethel. Now I want to stop there real quickly here. The Bible tells us at this time when Josiah comes on the scene that people were worshiping the host of heaven. They rejected God and instead they started worshiping the sun, they started worshiping the moon, they started worshiping the stars, they started worshiping the universe itself. And what does Josiah the man of God do? He breaks down their groves. Because you know what? God's not really for religious tolerance, okay? If Jesus Christ were ruling the earth today, the false prophets would be put to death. As they're the lowest life form you can find anyone who dedicates their life to sending others to hell. There's no one worse than that folks and so that's why Deuteronomy chapter 13 tells us they should be put to death and that's what will happen during the millennial reign. Here Josiah the man of God, he takes down the groves and we see that people were worshiping the host of heaven. Look at verse number 5, and he put down the idolatrous priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah and in the places round about Jerusalem, them also that burned incense unto Baal to the sun and to the moon, now listen to this, and to the planets and to all the hosts of heaven. Imagine rejecting the creator in favor of the creation. That's what these people did and you know what? That's still happening today. People reject the creator and instead worship the creation. The same people who would laugh at a sermon like this, oh you believe that young earth creationism and they'll scoff and they'll make fun of us for that but then those same people they'll turn to their astrology won't they? And they'll sit there and try to explain to you how modern astrologers, the planets represent basic drives or urges in the unconscious. I mean folks these are a bunch of loser nerds. So people have always worshiped the creation rather than the creator, they've chosen to do that through their own agency. Let's go back to Genesis chapter 1 and keep going. Genesis chapter 1. The Bible tells us about the planets, the Bible tells us about space, the Bible tells us scientific facts that the science falsely so called supporters are catching up to right now and in fact they'll never be able to catch up fully because they reject the word of God. My sixth point is that God created creatures for the sky and water on the fifth day. God created creatures for the sky and water on the fifth day. Now look down at verse number 20 when you get back to Genesis chapter 1 where the Bible says and God said, let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of the heaven. Now this is proof by the way that the firmament isn't a solid dome because the birds are flying in the firmament which means that it has to be something transparent that you could fly through which is what these birds are doing. Now if you ever study animals, you ever study nature and life itself and you look at the intricacies of birds and all the different animals, mammals, fish, it just shows you the wonderful handiwork of God improves anyone who would reject creation has lost their mind. Look at verse number 21 and God created great whales and every living creature that moveth which the waters brought forth abundantly after their kind and every winged fowl after his kind and God saw that it was good and God blessed them saying be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas and let fowl multiply in the earth and the evening and the morning were the fifth day. So this is what God created on the fifth day and he says be fruitful and multiply which doesn't just apply to animals, it applies to people as well. In fact this is the first time this phrase is found here in the Bible. He tells them to be fruitful and multiply and again there's a carnal and spiritual aspect to this. We should replicate ourselves physically by getting married, keyword get married, and have children. Now spiritually we should also multiply ourselves by going out and preaching the gospel and getting people saved. Every living creature he says should be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. Every living creature like I said earlier brings forth after their kind. Now this is completely and utterly incompatible with theistic evolution, completely incompatible with it which is why you have to make a choice what you believe. My seventh point is that God created land animals and man on the sixth day. We see the birds, we see the fish. In day number five but here in day number six God creates animals and man. Look what the Bible says in verse number 24. Land animals I should say. Verse number 24 in Genesis 1 and God said let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth after his kind and it was so and God made the beast of the earth after his kind and cattle after their kind and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind and God saw that it was good. The creation was good. Remember there was no fall at this point. Adam and Eve had not sinned yet. The animals are created after their kind. The land animals created, sculpted by God. Now you say what about dinosaurs? Of course dinosaurs there have been dinosaur fossils have been discovered and dinosaurs have been taught in schools and everything like that but the dinosaurs that the kids are learning about in the public fool system a little bit different than what the Bible teaches because in fact I believe there are dinosaurs in the Bible and the dinosaurs we find in the Bible didn't live millions of years ago like the world would say. The dinosaurs of the Bible walked with man. Now you say that to an evolutionist they'll lose their mind. That'll trigger them into a brain aneurysm. They don't like hearing that. They don't like hearing that dinosaurs and man were they they they existed they coexisted together. They don't like hearing that because they hate God but we see behemoth in job 40 I believe is a dinosaur. Let's take a look at the attributes of behemoth and see how it could be a dinosaur. Look at verse number 15. The Bible tells us there behold now behemoth which I made with thee he eateth grass as an ox. Now we're gonna see here in job chapter 40 that behemoth is enormous. Absolutely huge. Gargantuan that this creature matches the attribute of a dinosaur. The many attributes of a dinosaur. Look at verse 16. Lo now his strength is in his loins and it's and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his stones are wrapped together. Now some people will look at that and say oh it's an elephant because they see that behemoth is large and they think of a large creature that walks the earth today and they say elephant it must be an elephant but notice what it says about its tail. It says that the tail moves like a cedar and folks an elephant doesn't have a tail that moves like a cedar. Alright this thing must be absolutely gargantuan. This thing has to be enormous. Now in verse number 18 the Bible tells us in job chapter 40 his bones are as strong pieces of brass. His bones are like bars of iron. That's strength right there. The strength you would find in a dinosaur. Look at verse 19. He is the chief of the ways of God. He that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. Surely the mountains bring him forth food where all the beasts of the field play. He lieth under the shady trees in the covert of the reed and fens. The shady trees cover him with their shadow. The willows of the brook compass him about. Behold he drinketh up like a river and hasteth not. He trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. The Bible tells us about Behemoth that he drinks up like a river. Now imagine how huge this creature's mouth has to be to drink up a river in this manner. It says that he draws up Jordan into his mouth. Now I would surmise that there isn't a creature today that would fit this description right here. This thing is pretty big folks. Absolutely giant. Which is why I think it's probably a brontosaurus. And you can google that if you want to take a look at it and compare it with what we read about here in Job chapter 40. Of course I could be wrong. It might not be a brontosaurus. So don't kill me after the service alright. And you know get all upset here. It's just a theory. I don't know for sure. But that's what I think. Now go back to Genesis chapter 1. Human beings and dinosaurs walk the earth at the same time. And I believe Behemoth is a dinosaur. What we read about there in Job chapter number 40. Now dinosaurs they say were discovered in the 1800s. But they've always been in the Bible. Because again the scientists are catching up with the Word of God. It's not the other way around. Look at verse number 26 in Genesis chapter 1. The Bible says and God said, let us make man in our image after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. The Bible says here that God said let us make man in our image. Let us make man he says. Why? Because God is a Trinity. He wasn't talking to angels here. And the reality is this. If you believe God is speaking to angels here in Genesis chapter 1. Like that reprobate Kirchwe believes. You believe angels had a hand in creating man. Now think about that for a moment. Angels created man. But that's the road you have to go down if you want to believe in this oneness garbage. Look down at verse number 27. So God created man in his own image. In the image of God created he him. Male and female created he them. So important truths here. God creates man in his image. Not woman but man. God we see a plural personal pronoun applied to him because he is a Trinity. And it also says that he created like I said man in his image. But also he created them male. He created them female. Two genders. Not three. Not four. Not five. Not six. Not 128. Just two. And we also see that God is masculine here. He creates man in his image. Male and female he created people the Bible says. And he created man in his image. Because God is masculine. A controversial statement today. But I don't care what is controversial or what constitutes as controversial in today's era. Male. Female. End of story. That's the end. Period. Bookend. Whatever you want to call it. Male and female is how God created people. Look at verse number 28. And God blessed them and God said unto them be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the living thing that moveth upon the earth. So the Bible tells us here not only did God command the people. Not only did he command male and female to multiply themselves. He says be fruitful and multiply which we should do both carnally and spiritually. But he also says that he gave dominion over the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Because guess what? Humans have dominion over animals. That's why we cook them and that's why we eat them. And you know what? They taste really really good. I like me a burger. I like me a hot dog. I like me some chicken with some good old-fashioned Oklahoma barbecue sauce on top of it. And I know the vegans don't like that very much but the Bible tells me that I have dominion as a human being over the animals. But of course the nut jobs out there they equate that to murder and they would say that animals and people have the exact same value of life. Now speaking of nut jobs we see very clearly that the Bible tells us that we should be fruitful and multiply. But of course there's a population control agenda today which says having children is evil and wicked. And there are those who would believe in the global warming myth who say that they're intentionally not having children. They're preventing themselves from having children through birth control because they don't want to give birth to a child that would then live on a planet that's going through global warming. That's what they would say. That's their argument. They also make the argument that having children is bad for global warming and that it's bad for the environment. That's why Bill Nye the reprobate guy said on his Netflix show he said that he supported a Chinese style a communist Chinese style one-child policy. He thinks that the government should enforce how many kids you have. Well there'd be a lot of people in this church who would violate that I'm sure. Now the Bible tells us in Genesis 8 while the earth remaineth seed time and harvest and cold and heat and summer and winter and day and night shall not cease. The end time story of the atheists is that this world is going to experience global warming to the point there will be no more seasons and that it's gonna it's gonna be so hot the ice caps on both the north and south pole will melt to the point that sea levels will rise and flood us all. They even have their own flood but my Bible tells me that while the earth remains cold and heat summer and winter that it's not gonna cease and so I reject the global warming from the United Nations New World Order global warming global warming fraud and I believe the Bible and at the end of the day the folks out there in the world who are divided on this issue or who haven't made a choice they have to decide for themselves who are they gonna believe Bill Nye the reprobate guy with his bow tie or the Word of God. It's that simple. Now flip over to Genesis chapter 2 and let's take a look at the seventh day. That's one chapter over. God created mankind on the sixth day and again he gave people dominion over the animals and over this planet. My eighth point is that God rested on the seventh day and this gives us the foundation on which the Sabbath was built. Look at verse number one. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them and on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made and God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. So God rested on the seventh day the Sabbath day the seventh day of creation he created the world in six literal days six literal days and then on the seventh he rested and this is why from that point forward we see later on when God gives the old covenant he commands the Israelites to sanctify the seventh day of their calendar week along with other Sabbath days associated with the feast days and he tells them that on those Sabbaths they must rest as a callback to what God did on the seventh on the seventh day. Now what we do as New Testament Christians is we rest on the finished work of Jesus Christ. All the work has already been done for us to go to heaven by Jesus and since the work has been done Hebrews chapter 4 tells us that we have entered into his rest and because of that we've ceased from our own works. Exodus 20 tells us for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth the sea and all that in them is and rested the seventh day wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it six literal days and then on the seventh he hallowed it there is no day age theory there certainly isn't a gap theory the Bible tells us clearly that God created the heaven he created the earth in six literal days and then he rested on the seventh again that gave the Israelites the foundation for the Sabbath day he set the example for them to follow and now the Sabbath day has been fulfilled in Christ and we rest on his finished work now go to Psalm 19 and we'll be done last place we're going to turn tonight Psalm chapter number 19 the sermon is about fundamental truths on creation fundamental truths on creation and I went through what God created on each day we looked at some spiritual pictures of his creation and now I just want to close with this in Psalm 19 the Bible tells us in verse number one the heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handiwork the heavens the creation nature itself according to the Bible it declares God's glory it declares the glory of God and whenever I travel I think about this whenever I'm on an aircraft this is why I like to get the window seat my wife wants to get the window seat sometimes but I always fight her about it and say no I want it because I say it nicely of course but you can ask her if you don't believe me I sit on the window seat and I look out and once we hit cruise altitude once we hit 38,000 feet 39,000 feet I look out the window and I see the clouds and I see the atmosphere and I see the troposphere and I look down at the earth below and you know what I'm thinking in my mind I'm just thinking wow the creation what a magnificent fingerprint of the existence of God what an a magnificent mark of his glory and his majesty what a magnificent dwelling place we have of course sin and the curse has bogged it down but at the end of the day there will come a time when God rules and reigns Jesus Christ rules and reigns from this earth that we'll get to see what God's true purpose was for the creation and of course one day there will be a new heaven a new earth and if you think the creation we've got now is good wait until you see what he has in store for us later when we literally dwell with God the Father God the Son and the Holy Spirit so the Bible is scientifically accurate we learned about that today we talked about dinosaurs behemoth we talked about the planets we talked about how God created this world and went through what he did on each day and you have to realize this you're not a cosmic accident you're not something that happened by chance you're not something that just popped into existence magically courtesy of the Big Bang you are the creation of God you are the handiwork this planet we live on the creation itself is the handiwork of the Lord your God and all I have to say to close the sermon is this woe unto those that would reject them let's pray Lord I thank you for this church I just pray that you would help us to never take for granted your beautiful creation and help us to fight back against the evolutionist atheist agenda and Darwinism and that false religion and the people who worship the Sun and the moon and the stars and the creation rather than the Creator one of the attributes of a reprobate and Lord help us also to go out and get some people saved so they don't get stuck in the religion of Darwinism and understand the truth the most fundamental truth you have shown us in your word which is that you created everything and by you all things consistent in Jesus name I pray amen
