(Disclaimer: This transcript is auto-generated and may contain mistakes.) We need to make sure that we're not wasting our time here on this earth. We need to make sure that we're redeeming the time. Buy back the time because you never know when you may go. Okay. Hey, if you're healthy today, you should serve God today. You know, why? Because the evil days come not yet. According, you know, about your health. If you know, if you're financially sad and everything's going well, well, you know what? You haven't experienced the evil day. What you should be doing right now is redeeming the time because an evil day is going to come upon you when you may not have those things. You understand? Walk circumspectly. Don't be a fool and spend all your money on frivolous things. Don't be a fool and spend all your time, talents, and treasures on things that don't matter. No, you should walk circumspectly, be a wise individual, redeem the time, invest your time in things that are important. And this is important for young people. Okay. Because for some reason, young people, myself included, you know, young people have a tendency to think that they're just going to live forever. Like they're immortal. Nothing's ever going to happen. Like I'm 17, I'm 15, 16, 17, I'm 19, I'm 20. I got the rest of my life to figure out what I'm going to do with my life. No, that's not true. Okay. Because guess what? The rest of your life could be this year. You know, we're talking, I was talking to someone in our church about skydiving. Who was I talking to about skydiving? Oh, Brother Geo. I said, you know, the thing, when I was 18, I wanted to go skydiving so bad. I was like, I can't wait till I'm 18 so I could jump out of an airplane and go skydiving. And now, you know, I'm 35 and I'm like, I don't know if that's a good idea. That's not a really good idea. You know, because what if the parachute doesn't open? You know, you start getting some brains, you start thinking about these things. And I said, well, if my parachute doesn't work, then at least I know I have the rest of my life to figure out how to open up that parachute. True, is it not? But, you know, sometimes young people think that they have decades upon decades. Not true. You need to remember your Creator in the days of your youth while the evil days come not. And unfortunately, you know, for some young people, evil days come sooner than later. It's better to invest your youth and the strength that God has given you in your youth for the things of God. Learn how to go soul winning. Learn how to be consistent. Learn how to live a disciplined life, to wake up early, to read your Bible, to pray. Hey, learn how to love your parents. Appreciate your parents. Love your parents. Learn how to love others. Learn how to serve others. Learn these things now in your youth. Don't waste your time because there's going to come a day when the evil days come and you're going to wish you had done those things. Okay, you're going to wish you had invested the appropriate amount of time in the things which are important. Walk circumspectly. Don't be a fool. Be wise. Redeem the time. The days are evil. Verse 17 says this, Wherefore be not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. So the way we can redeem the time, the way we can walk circumspectly and be wise about it is understanding what God's will is for our life. Okay, now a lot of people ask, you know, what is God's will for my life? Well, here's the thing. There's many wills. There's a lot of things that God wants you to do. It's not just one thing that he wants you to do. Obviously, we can narrow it down and say, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. We obviously understand that. But here's the thing. If that were the case, that would be the only verse in this Bible.
