Wait a second, wait a second. That same Bible he's quoting, that same law of Moses that he's quoting requires the death penalty for Sabbath breaking. It requires the death penalty for adultery. And then what does Jesus tell us about, we can commit adultery in our hearts. You want to start throwing stones and say, yeah, they deserve to die. But homosexuality should be a crime. It was a crime under God's law where he said, you know, this is something where you be put to death. Okay. It's not just, it's a sin. I mean, look, lying is a sin, but he never said, Hey, you need to, you need to stone someone for lying or no. It was never against the law. It was just a sin. You know, even having two wives wasn't even against the law, but it was still always sin because God made them at the beginning, male and female. And it's supposed to be two people becoming one flesh. Let's repent of our sins. Let's preach the gospel to all, call them to repent of sin. Let's also recognize that in that bar, there are people that were killed that are hurting, that are lost, that have questions that have maybe been mistreated by the church that we need to reach out to with the gospel. For thus saith the Lord, enter not into the house of mourning. Neither go to lament nor bemoan them. For I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord. Even loving kindness and mercies. Both the great and the small shall die in this land. They shall not be buried. Neither shall men lament for them nor cut themselves nor make themselves bald for them. And look, this says right here about these wicked people in Judah, who in previous chapters, he said they're reprobate. Jeremiah chapter six, verse 30. He said reprobate silver shall men call them because the Lord has rejected them. Elsewhere he said pray not for this people. Pray not for this people for their good. Look what he says here in verse five. For thus saith the Lord, enter not into the house of mourning. Neither go to lament them nor bemoan them. Let's grieve right now over human beings created in God's image. Fallen sinners like the rest of us needing God's mercy. Let's grieve. I'm not going to do it. Why should I?
