Matthew Stuckey here from Verity Baptist Church Manila and I wanted to provide you a quick video on Roman Catholicism exposed and what I want to talk to you about is Constantine's vision. Now you're probably familiar at least to some degree with Constantine and his vision he supposedly saw but in case you're not the general story goes that Constantine was in the middle of the battle the Battle of the Milvian Bridge and he wasn't sure if his side was going to win the battle or not and he ends up having this dream and he ends up seeing this cross in the sky and some people say that he actually saw it some people say it was a mirage some people say it was part of the dream there's so many different reports and different accounts of this event it's changed through the years but they end up winning the battle and Constantine supposedly attributed it to the cross he saw in the sky and converts everybody to Christianity after he supposedly converts and so even in secular reports people question did he really convert is he just making up the story it's not even universally accepted you know even outside of the IFB world you know outside of the Baptist realm people don't even believe this vision they think he faked it maybe he did it for political gain people aren't really sure there's a lot of different reports but let's give him the benefit of the doubt and if we're going to give him the benefit of the doubt well let's look at what he believed after he supposedly converted when he saw this cross in the sky because the Bible says faith is the evidence and so if we want to find out if somebody believes if somebody is saved we look at what do they believe and what do they teach so you look at the religion that Constantine supposedly started or helped build or help you know unify and is that the same thing as biblical Christianity when you look at the all the idols of Roman Catholicism when you look at the work salvation and having to follow the sacraments and you know indulgences and all these other things that are not found in the Word of God it has nothing to do with Christianity and it doesn't matter how many people in the world would call themselves Catholic or how many people are Orthodox or Protestant that came off that Catholic you know tree their branch off of that tree it has nothing to do with biblical Christianity it's not even close at all and Constantine's beliefs after his supposed conversion are not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved so you can see he never really converted himself another question is if he really converted to Christianity if he really ended up believing on Jesus Christ the question comes up who converted Constantine you cannot get saved unless somebody wins you to the Lord every single person that is saved in the world you did not get saved by reading the Bible for yourself you got saved because they so would have preached the gospel to you that's how I got saved and that's how I've led other people to the Lord but people do not get saved by reading the Bible on their own and people like to compare this event to Paul the Apostle but Paul the Apostle actually went to Ananias afterwards after he's on the road to Damascus and he sees the light and talks to the Lord and people like to compare it to Paul the Apostle but here's the thing about Paul the Apostle he obtained mercy because he did it ignorantly in unbelief so Paul the Apostle he tried to follow the law perfectly and in some areas he was great and in other areas he's persecuting true Christianity because he had the wrong religion but he did it ignorantly in unbelief but with people like Constantine and all these people that start these religions they're usually wicked people before they're not good people and so why in the world would God come to them and give them an opportunity to hear the gospel it doesn't make sense that's not the same thing as Paul the Apostle at all and another thing I want to mention is this that the Catholic Church is always looking for some sort of sign they have these signs of Mary they have these signs of the cross they have these visions this stigmata all this Pentecostal madness that they're mixing in in their religion but you know what does the Bible say in Matthew 12 verses 39 and 40 but he answered and said unto them an evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of the prophet Jonas for as Jonas or Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth so the only sign given to us is that Jesus Christ he died for us he was buried and he rose again and people get saved when you preach the gospel onto them and they believe on Jesus Christ so you say what exactly happened with Constantine 1700 years ago well you know honestly he there's a good chance you know he had been drinking alcohol could have been doing drugs he could have been hallucinating could have had a dream there's different reports I don't know but when you look at his beliefs after this event it's not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and now shall be saved so whether is a demonic vision that he saw whether or not he lied about it whether or not he was confused I can't be sure but what I do know is Constantine never converted to Christianity and Roman Catholicism was never a true Christian Church they were always just a pagan religion mixed in with Christianity they were never believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and now shall be saved thank you and God bless
