00:00.000 --> 00:02.000
Matthew chapter 9.

00:09.000 --> 00:12.000
Follow along silently as we read.

00:19.000 --> 00:21.000
Matthew chapter 9.

00:21.000 --> 00:22.000
The Bible reads,

00:22.000 --> 00:24.000
Matthew chapter 9.

00:52.000 --> 00:56.000
But that ye may know that the Son of Man hath power on earth to forgive sins,

00:56.000 --> 01:02.000
then saith he to the sick of the palsy, Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

01:02.000 --> 01:05.000
And he arose and departed to his house.

01:05.000 --> 01:12.000
But when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

01:12.000 --> 01:17.000
And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the receipt of custom,

01:17.000 --> 01:21.000
and he saith unto him, Follow me, and he arose and followed him.

01:21.000 --> 01:29.000
And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at me in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

01:29.000 --> 01:35.000
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your master with publicans and sinners?

01:35.000 --> 01:42.000
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that behold need not a physician, but they that are sick.

01:42.000 --> 01:47.000
But go ye and learn what that meaneth. I will have mercy and not sacrifice.

01:47.000 --> 01:51.000
For I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

01:51.000 --> 01:59.000
Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast off, but thy disciples fast not?

01:59.000 --> 02:05.000
And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bride chamber mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them?

02:05.000 --> 02:10.000
But the days will come when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

02:11.000 --> 02:20.000
No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment. For that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

02:20.000 --> 02:27.000
Neither do men put new wine into old bottles, else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish.

02:27.000 --> 02:31.000
But they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

02:31.000 --> 02:42.000
While he spake these things unto them, behold there came a certain ruler and worshiped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead, but come, and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

02:42.000 --> 02:46.000
And Jesus arose and followed him, and so did his disciples.

02:46.000 --> 02:53.000
And behold a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him and touched the hem of his garment.

02:53.000 --> 02:57.000
For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

02:57.000 --> 03:05.000
But Jesus turned to him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort, thy faith hath made thee whole.

03:05.000 --> 03:08.000
And the woman was made whole from that hour.

03:08.000 --> 03:17.000
And when Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, he said unto them, Give place, for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth.

03:17.000 --> 03:19.000
And they laughed him to scorn.

03:20.000 --> 03:25.000
But when the people were put forth, he went in and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

03:25.000 --> 03:29.000
And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.

03:29.000 --> 03:36.000
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.

03:36.000 --> 03:44.000
And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?

03:44.000 --> 03:46.000
They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

03:46.000 --> 03:50.000
Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith, be it unto you.

03:50.000 --> 03:55.000
And their eyes were opened, and Jesus straightly charged them, saying, See, that no man know it.

03:55.000 --> 04:00.000
But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.

04:00.000 --> 04:05.000
As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.

04:05.000 --> 04:12.000
And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake and the multitude marveled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.

04:12.000 --> 04:17.000
But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.

04:17.000 --> 04:23.000
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom,

04:23.000 --> 04:26.000
and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

04:26.000 --> 04:34.000
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd.

04:34.000 --> 04:40.000
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few.

04:40.000 --> 04:45.000
Pray ye therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.

04:45.000 --> 04:48.000
Brother Temel, could you purpose hers?

05:11.000 --> 05:17.000
And I was not ready for him to be done reading yet.

05:17.000 --> 05:20.000
He snuck up on me.

05:20.000 --> 05:27.000
I was like, Usually Matthew has longer chapters than that, but maybe he just reads fast.

05:27.000 --> 05:28.000
I don't know. Okay.

05:28.000 --> 05:31.000
The title of the sermon tonight is Keep Your Soul Winning Red Hot.

05:31.000 --> 05:38.000
I'm going to move away from doing the Book of Revelation just for one Sunday here.

05:38.000 --> 05:43.000
And when I come back from Texas, I will continue back with the series.

05:43.000 --> 05:55.000
But I preached this as a as a soul challenge yesterday, and I didn't get a really complete the full sermon.

05:55.000 --> 06:00.000
So I figured I would just preach the whole thing in length here for you guys.

06:00.000 --> 06:04.000
And so the title of the sermon is Keep Your Soul Winning Red Hot.

06:04.000 --> 06:07.000
Keep Your Soul Winning Red Hot.

06:07.000 --> 06:20.000
And in verse 35, the Bible says, And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

06:20.000 --> 06:29.000
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd.

06:30.000 --> 06:34.000
So Jesus was very moved when he saw the multitudes of people.

06:34.000 --> 06:37.000
And why? Because they were they fainted.

06:37.000 --> 06:44.000
They fainted and they were as sheep scattered abroad, having no shepherd.

06:44.000 --> 06:47.000
And he was moved.

06:47.000 --> 06:49.000
He didn't just have compassion.

06:49.000 --> 06:53.000
He didn't just have this feeling of, oh, I feel bad for them.

06:53.000 --> 06:55.000
He was moved by this.

06:55.000 --> 06:57.000
He was moved to do something about it.

06:57.000 --> 06:59.000
And that's what compassion is.

06:59.000 --> 07:08.000
Compassion is seeing someone's need and not only caring and having empathy for them, but actively taking action to alleviate their suffering.

07:08.000 --> 07:14.000
And that is what soul winning is, because there's a lot of Christians out there that, yeah, they care.

07:14.000 --> 07:17.000
But do they care enough to actually do something about it?

07:17.000 --> 07:20.000
And there's very few soul winners in the world.

07:20.000 --> 07:21.000
There's very few soul winners.

07:21.000 --> 07:24.000
I mean, there's a there's very few Christians.

07:24.000 --> 07:31.000
But then out of that group of Christianity, there's very few Christians that will actually do something about people's state.

07:31.000 --> 07:43.000
And that's why it's so important to be a soul winner in a church, because there's so you know, there's already few enough Christians, but there needs to be more soul winners.

07:43.000 --> 07:46.000
And in this passage, Jesus actually does care.

07:46.000 --> 07:47.000
And he's an individual here.

07:47.000 --> 07:59.000
So my first point is keep your soul and red hot within because it's very important as an individual that you stay red hot for soul winning, because if you don't, you're going to get what cold?

07:59.000 --> 08:03.000
It's not you don't want to get lukewarm or cold.

08:03.000 --> 08:09.000
You know, obviously, Jesus said it's better to be cold than lukewarm, but you don't want to be either one of those things.

08:09.000 --> 08:11.000
You want to stay red hot.

08:12.000 --> 08:15.000
And we were at the Red Hot Preaching Conference 2.0.

08:15.000 --> 08:35.000
And I felt like it was important to help people understand the importance of individually being a soul winner and being fired up for soul winning, because you know, when you start doing it for years, you can get to the point where you're just like, you know, or you can just go through times when you're just meh.

08:35.000 --> 08:40.000
You know, you don't feel it like you did when you first got saved or you don't feel like you did when you first started going soul winning.

08:40.000 --> 08:42.000
When you got fired up about it.

08:42.000 --> 08:51.000
And you know, when if you don't have that fire in your belly to do it and care about it, then you can get lax in it or you can just stop doing it all together.

08:51.000 --> 08:57.000
And I remember when our first church, our church first started that we had 100% participation in soul winning.

08:57.000 --> 09:00.000
And I would say that's just not true about our church anymore.

09:00.000 --> 09:02.000
And I and I don't like that.

09:02.000 --> 09:04.000
But there's nothing I can do about that.

09:04.000 --> 09:07.000
So it's up to the individual to care about going.

09:07.000 --> 09:10.000
It's up to the individual to care about soul winning.

09:10.000 --> 09:12.000
And Jesus cared.

09:12.000 --> 09:13.000
Jesus was an individual.

09:13.000 --> 09:15.000
Jesus was the son of God.

09:15.000 --> 09:16.000
And yeah, he was perfect.

09:16.000 --> 09:19.000
But it's he was he's our example to look to.

09:19.000 --> 09:23.000
We can't look at people that men that fail and go, oh, well, he failed.

09:23.000 --> 09:27.000
So now I got to fail or, oh, he's not on fire.

09:27.000 --> 09:28.000
So I don't want to be on fire.

09:28.000 --> 09:32.000
And yeah, it is important for us to have our zeal rub off on other people.

09:32.000 --> 09:36.000
And if people around us stop being zealous, it can be a detriment to our to ourselves.

09:36.000 --> 09:43.000
I get that. But you still have an individual responsibility to stay in the game, to still keep fighting and to still stay stolen.

09:43.000 --> 09:45.000
Whatever you have to do to motivate yourself.

09:45.000 --> 09:48.000
That's what you got to do, because Jesus commended us to go.

09:48.000 --> 09:53.000
He didn't say, oh, it's OK for you to take a break forever because you already did it for like five years or whatever.

09:53.000 --> 09:54.000
That's not what the Bible says.

09:54.000 --> 09:56.000
It's not what Jesus said to do.

09:56.000 --> 10:01.000
And we have an individual responsibility to stay so willing.

10:01.000 --> 10:05.000
And even if you're in a slump, don't start feeling sorry for yourself.

10:05.000 --> 10:07.000
And just quit going or quit caring.

10:07.000 --> 10:18.000
And as an individual, Jesus showed us the impact that one man can have because he cared about people, because he cared about seeking and saving that which is lost.

10:18.000 --> 10:20.000
He came down to show us an example of what to do.

10:20.000 --> 10:28.000
And even when the disciples were whining and complaining that they didn't have a break, he still just said, hey, no, you feed them.

10:28.000 --> 10:30.000
No, you take care of them.

10:30.000 --> 10:31.000
And was setting an example.

10:31.000 --> 10:33.000
And he worked so hard that people thought he was insane.

10:33.000 --> 10:37.000
The disciples were like, oh, come on, let us rest in this desert place.

10:37.000 --> 10:39.000
And he's like, no, we got work to do.

10:39.000 --> 10:43.000
You know, he only had a few years on this earth to do the work he did.

10:43.000 --> 10:46.000
And so he wanted to put everything he had into it.

10:46.000 --> 10:53.000
And I've told I've talked about this before that we only have so much time on this earth to do the things that we can do.

10:53.000 --> 11:02.000
And we need to we need to make sure that we have like a focus and an energy where we just do everything we can in the years that we can do them.

11:02.000 --> 11:04.000
Because there could be a time when you can't walk.

11:04.000 --> 11:09.000
There can be a time when you maybe you have some sort of ailment that comes upon you where you can't go anymore.

11:09.000 --> 11:12.000
And you'll be sad when that happens.

11:12.000 --> 11:16.000
You'll be sad when you say, well, I should have just done more when I had the chance.

11:16.000 --> 11:18.000
And I should have redeemed the time when I could.

11:18.000 --> 11:25.000
And, you know, you don't you don't see it maybe necessarily right now, but you would be sad about it.

11:25.000 --> 11:30.000
You would be sad if you knew that tomorrow was the last time you could ever go so in order if today was the last day you could go.

11:31.000 --> 11:37.000
Or if yesterday was the last day you could go and you never went again, you'd be sad about it, especially if you have a soul winner's heart.

11:37.000 --> 11:40.000
Because all of us have times when we don't feel like going.

11:40.000 --> 11:42.000
I get that. I understand that.

11:42.000 --> 11:43.000
And I'm not trying to get on to anybody.

11:43.000 --> 11:47.000
I'm just saying we need to keep our soul winning hot as an individual.

11:47.000 --> 11:50.000
We need to keep that soul winning red hot within us.

11:50.000 --> 11:54.000
And Jesus had the compassion to do that.

11:54.000 --> 12:02.000
He cared about people and part of compassion is suffering together means to suffer together with someone.

12:02.000 --> 12:05.000
And sometimes soul winning is suffering.

12:05.000 --> 12:09.000
A lot of times here it is suffering when you're going to the triple decker apartments.

12:09.000 --> 12:11.000
It's suffering.

12:11.000 --> 12:12.000
It's not easy.

12:12.000 --> 12:14.000
It's not easy even for the most fit person.

12:14.000 --> 12:23.000
If you're just if nobody's home that day and if it's been raining for 40 straight days and nights and then it's a nice day all of a sudden.

12:23.000 --> 12:25.000
And you're like, oh, the apartments, they'll be receptive.

12:25.000 --> 12:28.000
It's like, nope, nobody's home because everybody wants to go out and do something.

12:28.000 --> 12:35.000
And then, you know, you're like, man, I just put some some miles on the pedometer here.

12:35.000 --> 12:38.000
And it doesn't seem like it took that many steps, but they're all uphill.

12:38.000 --> 12:40.000
You know, they're all up and downstairs or whatever on concrete.

12:40.000 --> 12:41.000
And it hurts.

12:41.000 --> 12:43.000
It can become a grind.

12:43.000 --> 12:45.000
It's not always fun going soul winning.

12:45.000 --> 12:49.000
It's not fun when you've knocked a zillion doors and nobody would even talk to you.

12:49.000 --> 12:51.000
But why is it so important?

12:51.000 --> 12:53.000
Because people are fainting.

12:53.000 --> 12:54.000
People are faint.

12:54.000 --> 12:58.000
People are scattered as sheep not having a shepherd.

12:58.000 --> 12:59.000
But you know what?

12:59.000 --> 13:05.000
When someone gets saved, they they can they can rely on the Holy Spirit to not be faint.

13:05.000 --> 13:07.000
They can run and not faint.

13:07.000 --> 13:08.000
And you know what?

13:08.000 --> 13:12.000
They can have a shepherd who is Jesus Christ.

13:12.000 --> 13:17.000
You know, when they get saved, Jesus becomes that shepherd in the bishop of their soul.

13:17.000 --> 13:19.000
So they're not without a shepherd.

13:19.000 --> 13:26.000
Even if they don't have a good church to go to or, you know, but they'll never be lonely with Jesus within them.

13:26.000 --> 13:27.000
You know what I mean?

13:27.000 --> 13:33.000
So even if someone just gets saved and they just have they're just saved and that's it, they're not faint anymore.

13:33.000 --> 13:39.000
And because they're going to have everlasting life and they're going to have a shepherd to watch over them.

13:39.000 --> 13:41.000
And they will not be alone.

13:41.000 --> 13:43.000
He said, I'll never leave the north for safety.

13:43.000 --> 13:47.000
And the multitudes are not saved.

13:47.000 --> 13:48.000
Look at verse 37.

13:48.000 --> 13:55.000
It says, Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few.

13:55.000 --> 13:59.000
He didn't just say that as a filler thing to say.

13:59.000 --> 14:01.000
That's it's really the truth.

14:01.000 --> 14:07.000
There's a lot of people to reach and not enough people to reach them.

14:07.000 --> 14:09.000
The harvest truly is plenteous.

14:09.000 --> 14:15.000
There's a lot of stuff, work that needs to get done, but there's not a lot of people to do it.

14:15.000 --> 14:24.000
And this is always true in church life and old I.F.E. churches that I went to, it applied to the work that needed to get done around the church.

14:24.000 --> 14:33.000
But he's applying it to people that need to help with the labor force of this harvest of souls that are out there that need to be saved.

14:33.000 --> 14:35.000
This is what he's talking about.

14:35.000 --> 14:37.000
He's not talking about who's going to clean the church.

14:37.000 --> 14:41.000
He's talking about who's going to who's going to harvest these souls.

14:41.000 --> 14:44.000
And it's just not enough.

14:44.000 --> 14:46.000
We just don't have enough.

14:46.000 --> 14:50.000
That's why we need the individual because we need all hands on deck.

14:50.000 --> 14:52.000
We need everybody to show up.

14:52.000 --> 14:57.000
We need everybody to go out at least once a week and go out there and work in the fields.

14:57.000 --> 15:03.000
We need every soldier to stay red hot so that we can save the multitudes.

15:03.000 --> 15:07.000
You're like, well, this isn't very receptive around here, pastor.

15:07.000 --> 15:09.000
Did someone get saved today?

15:09.000 --> 15:11.000
Well, it's receptive.

15:11.000 --> 15:19.000
You know, and it might not be the Philippines or something, but we're still getting people saved here every single week.

15:19.000 --> 15:21.000
We don't go without getting people saved every week.

15:21.000 --> 15:23.000
People get saved here every week.

15:23.000 --> 15:29.000
So and if you're not like they're not jumping in your boat, hey, you're still getting rewards for everything that you do.

15:29.000 --> 15:33.000
And then, you know, go on different supplemental trips.

15:34.000 --> 15:37.000
You know, it's people are getting saved here.

15:37.000 --> 15:39.000
Maybe you just need to go more.

15:39.000 --> 15:42.000
Maybe that's maybe that's the answer to your question.

15:42.000 --> 15:44.000
You know, if you go more, you're going to get more people saved.

15:44.000 --> 15:45.000
It's just that simple.

15:45.000 --> 15:48.000
So you put more time into it.

15:48.000 --> 15:51.000
In all labor, there is profit, the Bible says.

15:51.000 --> 15:55.000
So why does the individual matter?

15:55.000 --> 16:01.000
Well, because each individual makes up the team and there's multitudes that need to be saved.

16:01.000 --> 16:08.000
Jesus said, pray therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.

16:08.000 --> 16:10.000
It's the Lord's harvest.

16:10.000 --> 16:11.000
It's people.

16:11.000 --> 16:12.000
And he will.

16:12.000 --> 16:14.000
We're supposed to what?

16:14.000 --> 16:15.000
Pray for these things.

16:15.000 --> 16:17.000
Pray for new laborers.

16:17.000 --> 16:21.000
But don't forget to pray for yourself, because here's the thing.

16:21.000 --> 16:27.000
If you're just only thinking about other people, which it's good to think about other people, it's good to pray for other people.

16:27.000 --> 16:29.000
That's really important.

16:29.000 --> 16:43.000
But it's also you can't just neglect yourself spiritually and think that you're going to be OK, because if you're not reading your Bible, if you're not praying, if you're not attending church and if you're not so winning, then you're not helping yourself.

16:43.000 --> 16:45.000
You're hurting yourself.

16:45.000 --> 16:51.000
You're hurting your ability to go out and win souls because you're not spiritually up to snuff.

16:51.000 --> 16:59.000
You're not a spiritual you're not spiritually a trained and you're not you're you're not the best soldier you can be.

16:59.000 --> 17:13.000
Do you think if someone goes into the military boot camp and they're like private pile and you know they're just they're not fit they can't run they can't do the they can't shoot that you know they're the worst shot in the world.

17:13.000 --> 17:15.000
They can't jump over the walls.

17:15.000 --> 17:16.000
They can't do push ups.

17:16.000 --> 17:17.000
They can't do all these things.

17:17.000 --> 17:21.000
You think that's going to be the best person in the military.

17:21.000 --> 17:27.000
No, they're not because they're not doing what needs to be done to be the best soldiers that they can be.

17:27.000 --> 17:29.000
And we're not military in that way.

17:29.000 --> 17:31.000
We're military in a different way.

17:31.000 --> 17:33.000
A spiritual we're spiritual soldiers.

17:33.000 --> 17:37.000
And so if you want to be spiritual, you want to get more people saved.

17:37.000 --> 17:41.000
You want God to depend on you and bring people across your path.

17:41.000 --> 17:47.000
Well, when you get those opportunities, then use those opportunities to work for God.

17:47.000 --> 17:49.000
You want God to bring people across your path.

17:49.000 --> 17:51.000
Well, be thinking about it.

17:51.000 --> 17:53.000
Be ready for it to happen.

17:53.000 --> 17:57.000
Are you approachable in public or do you act weird?

17:57.000 --> 17:59.000
I mean, are you a nice person?

17:59.000 --> 18:09.000
I mean, is every stranger trying to kill you or I'm looking I'm not saying in the dark the dark of night when you're fumbling with your car keys or something that you would hey stranger how's it going?

18:09.000 --> 18:11.000
You know, are you on the street?

18:11.000 --> 18:21.000
I'm not saying, you know, put yourself in dangerous positions, but I'm just saying if you're out in public, maybe you're at the store and you see some other lady or whatever and you want to talk and try to get them saved.

18:21.000 --> 18:27.000
Those are opportunities, individual opportunities, because not everything has to be within a soul any time.

18:27.000 --> 18:30.000
It could be on a sitting next to a stranger on a plane.

18:30.000 --> 18:32.000
It could be out in public somewhere.

18:32.000 --> 18:36.000
It could be at work when you're not supposed to be working those types of situations.

18:36.000 --> 18:43.000
And it's important for the individual to look for opportunities and use those opportunities.

18:43.000 --> 18:45.000
Pray for laborers.

18:45.000 --> 18:48.000
And so you have to take care of yourself spiritually.

18:48.000 --> 18:52.000
And because if you're not up to snuff spiritually, how can you help others?

18:52.000 --> 18:56.000
How can you get other people saved if you're not up to snuff yourself?

18:56.000 --> 19:00.000
And you can't forget about the people within your family.

19:00.000 --> 19:06.000
You know, you have to you have to have a good testimony.

19:06.000 --> 19:12.000
If you want people in your family to get saved, you know, I'm talking about the extended relatives, then you have to have a good testimony with them.

19:12.000 --> 19:21.000
And obviously, sometimes, you know, a prophet is not without honor, but in his own nation, with his own kin's kin's folk and so on and so forth.

19:21.000 --> 19:25.000
Jesus wasn't even accepted of his own brothers and sisters or his family.

19:25.000 --> 19:28.000
So sometimes they're just hard to win.

19:28.000 --> 19:33.000
But if you want to win them, then you know, you have to work at that.

19:33.000 --> 19:39.000
Don't expect them to be some sinless perfection person.

19:39.000 --> 19:46.000
You know, if they're lost, I mean, a lot of times I think people just think that their lost relatives are supposed to be just like you or something.

19:46.000 --> 19:47.000
It's like they're not going to be.

19:47.000 --> 19:49.000
So don't expect that.

19:50.000 --> 19:59.000
And then, you know, so if you want to get your family saved, you know, you got to work at it and you got to be nice and you got to be kind.

19:59.000 --> 20:03.000
And you can't just blow up on them and then think the next day you're going to get them saved.

20:03.000 --> 20:04.000
You can't cuss out your sister.

20:04.000 --> 20:08.000
And then the next day you're like, oh, by the way, are you 100 percent sure you're going to heaven?

20:08.000 --> 20:11.000
So she'd be like, I'm never going to by you.

20:11.000 --> 20:14.000
I can tell you that right now.

20:14.000 --> 20:18.000
But, you know, you can look for opportunities when people come and visit our church.

20:18.000 --> 20:24.000
You know, the ushers are sending people over to to talk to people.

20:24.000 --> 20:25.000
This is our church.

20:25.000 --> 20:27.000
And a lot of times they just be lining it right out.

20:27.000 --> 20:28.000
I understand that.

20:28.000 --> 20:31.000
You know, they've been held hostage here by me or whatever.

20:31.000 --> 20:34.000
And or they just it's just not their cup of tea.

20:34.000 --> 20:36.000
And they just they just go right out the door.

20:36.000 --> 20:38.000
OK. And then just walk past here.

20:38.000 --> 20:40.000
Whatever. I understand.

20:40.000 --> 20:45.000
But there's a lot of times we've had people get saved in the service or after the service.

20:45.000 --> 20:48.000
And those are opportunities for an individual.

20:48.000 --> 20:54.000
Our community, though, we you know, we need to continue to still try to get people saved in our community.

20:54.000 --> 20:56.000
And we do every week.

20:56.000 --> 21:04.000
So number two, we need to keep keep your soul winning red hot by going without going without our community,

21:04.000 --> 21:09.000
going without the walls of our church, going without your comfort zone in your own family.

21:09.000 --> 21:14.000
And by the way, in your own family, that includes your children, by the way.

21:14.000 --> 21:16.000
Yeah. Get your kids saved.

21:16.000 --> 21:19.000
Make that a priority in your life.

21:19.000 --> 21:25.000
And then so but number two, keep your soul winning red hot by going without.

21:25.000 --> 21:37.000
Let's look at Acts, chapter number 16, Acts, chapter 16, Acts, chapter number 16, verse number nine.

21:37.000 --> 21:42.000
And Paul, of course, you know, he's called a missionary, but the word missionary is not in the Bible.

21:42.000 --> 21:47.000
But that's what I mean, if you want to call him a missionary, that's that is what he was, basically.

21:47.000 --> 21:52.000
But Paul went all over the known world at that time, just preaching the gospel, starting churches.

21:52.000 --> 21:56.000
And he has this vision. It's called the Macedonian Call.

21:56.000 --> 21:59.000
That's what it's generally called is the Macedonian Call.

21:59.000 --> 22:01.000
Here it is right here.

22:01.000 --> 22:05.000
Acts 16, nine, it says, And a vision appeared to Paul in the night.

22:05.000 --> 22:12.000
There stood a man of Macedonia and prayed him saying, Come over into Macedonia and help us.

22:12.000 --> 22:18.000
And after he had seen the vision immediately, we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuring assuredly,

22:18.000 --> 22:24.000
gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

22:24.000 --> 22:27.000
So he has this dream. He understands exactly what it means.

22:27.000 --> 22:29.000
We need to go to Macedonia.

22:29.000 --> 22:31.000
We the Lord's called us.

22:31.000 --> 22:34.000
You know, we know what we need to do.

22:34.000 --> 22:44.000
So notice he didn't he didn't need to know that God is specifically saying they need to preach the gospel.

22:44.000 --> 22:46.000
He already knows that he's supposed to preach the gospel.

22:46.000 --> 22:49.000
He just needed to know where where is he going?

22:49.000 --> 22:51.000
Where's he calling us to next?

22:51.000 --> 22:59.000
And God is specifically calling them to this spot because the Apostle Paul is getting direct revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ.

22:59.000 --> 23:01.000
We don't necessarily get that.

23:01.000 --> 23:04.000
He wants us to go everywhere and preach the gospel.

23:04.000 --> 23:08.000
And obviously, there's places where we can't necessarily get into right now.

23:08.000 --> 23:10.000
But God makes that pretty clear.

23:10.000 --> 23:15.000
You know, you got to be pretty dumb to try to get into North Korea right now.

23:15.000 --> 23:23.000
If you just want to die, trying to get some Bibles to people, then by all means, just try to run and throw some Bibles over the wall or wherever.

23:23.000 --> 23:25.000
I don't think you get close to the border.

23:25.000 --> 23:29.000
There's like the demilitarized zone that you have to get across.

23:29.000 --> 23:36.000
American troops on one side and Korean North Korean troops on the other side and then South Korean troops.

23:36.000 --> 23:40.000
And there's like a I'm not sure how long that stretch is.

23:40.000 --> 23:42.000
There's where you can't cross that zone or whatever.

23:42.000 --> 23:44.000
You're going to get shot.

23:44.000 --> 23:48.000
So and people are trying to escape there all the time.

23:48.000 --> 23:54.000
And then they have China on one part and, you know, Russia, I think, on another part or whatever.

23:54.000 --> 23:57.000
Or they'll then they'll kill you.

23:57.000 --> 24:03.000
If they people try to escape from there, they'll just turn them in to the North Koreans and give them back or they'll just kill them wherever they're at.

24:03.000 --> 24:15.000
People want to get away from there so bad because it's just a complete dictatorship, a cult of weirdness that you have to worship the government basically.

24:15.000 --> 24:18.000
So we know where we can and can't go.

24:18.000 --> 24:21.000
We know what countries are closed and not closed.

24:21.000 --> 24:26.000
And hopefully sometime that regime falls and we can get the gospel to those people.

24:26.000 --> 24:29.000
And there's people that try to sneak stuff across in some other ways.

24:29.000 --> 24:37.000
But that's just not we we don't have the resources and the ability to just help those people right now.

24:37.000 --> 24:40.000
Maybe some people do some people that are close to that situation.

24:40.000 --> 24:45.000
But we have to just go wherever we get called to go to.

24:45.000 --> 24:47.000
And North Korea is not the place.

24:47.000 --> 24:54.000
I think Pastor Stuckey like did a pretend so many marathon or whatever in North Korea, didn't he?

24:54.000 --> 24:56.000
Like made a video saying that they're going to do it.

24:56.000 --> 24:57.000
It was a joke.

24:57.000 --> 25:03.000
I think people actually thought it was real, though, because it seemed like a real one or whatever.

25:03.000 --> 25:12.000
But he was joking because but it would be cool if, you know, Kim Young-Joon or whatever the heck his name is with Kim Jung.

25:12.000 --> 25:14.000
Is it Kim Jung-Yoon or what?

25:14.000 --> 25:15.000
I don't know.

25:15.000 --> 25:16.000
What was his name, Brother Bill?

25:16.000 --> 25:18.000
Do you know Kim Jung-il?

25:18.000 --> 25:20.000
Yeah, he's ill.

25:20.000 --> 25:29.000
So until he dies or somebody takes over that country that gives them freedom, they're they're just enslaved, unfortunately.

25:29.000 --> 25:31.000
But there's places that we can go.

25:31.000 --> 25:33.000
There's plenty of places we can go.

25:33.000 --> 25:34.000
Paul's called to Macedonia.

25:34.000 --> 25:43.000
But this is something that I've that I've seen, like in mainly old life be churches because I've never been to any other church besides the Baptist churches.

25:43.000 --> 25:47.000
But, you know, except for if I was visiting for some dumb reason or whatever.

25:47.000 --> 25:50.000
But but here's what people do.

25:50.000 --> 25:57.000
They go, I'm praying about whether God wants me to go preach the gospel or something.

25:57.000 --> 26:01.000
It's like you don't need to pray for that.

26:01.000 --> 26:03.000
Jesus already told us what he wants us to do.

26:03.000 --> 26:07.000
Turn over to Matthew, Chapter 28.

26:07.000 --> 26:09.000
What is it?

26:09.000 --> 26:11.000
Kim Jung-un.

26:11.000 --> 26:13.000
Okay.

26:13.000 --> 26:15.000
Kim Jung-il was the dad.

26:15.000 --> 26:17.000
Kim Jung-un was the son.

26:17.000 --> 26:19.000
Is that the chubby one?

26:19.000 --> 26:20.000
Chubby panda looking guy?

26:20.000 --> 26:21.000
Okay.

26:21.000 --> 26:23.000
Yeah.

26:23.000 --> 26:27.000
He's he's just as crazy as his dad.

26:27.000 --> 26:33.000
So Matthew, Chapter 28, Jesus gives what's called the Great Commission.

26:33.000 --> 26:41.000
And it says in verse 18, it says, And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

26:41.000 --> 26:51.000
Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I've commanded you.

26:51.000 --> 26:55.000
And lo, I am with you all way, even unto the end of the world.

26:55.000 --> 26:57.000
So there's no doubt about it.

26:57.000 --> 27:01.000
He sent us to go.

27:01.000 --> 27:02.000
He said to go.

27:02.000 --> 27:06.000
He didn't say stay and invite people to church and have them walk up to the altar.

27:06.000 --> 27:12.000
And, you know, I'm not saying that people don't get saved in those situations, but that's not what he said to do.

27:12.000 --> 27:16.000
He didn't say go and invite somebody to church.

27:16.000 --> 27:17.000
Not that we don't do that.

27:17.000 --> 27:18.000
We do do that.

27:18.000 --> 27:20.000
There's lots of ways you can get people saved.

27:20.000 --> 27:22.000
I'm just saying that's not what Jesus said.

27:22.000 --> 27:25.000
He said, Go ye therefore.

27:25.000 --> 27:30.000
And he wants us to go out and preach the gospel.

27:30.000 --> 27:34.000
And we're supposed to baptize them and we're supposed to teach them.

27:34.000 --> 27:39.000
And we're supposed to disciple them and train them to do likewise.

27:39.000 --> 27:41.000
This is how Christianity replicates.

27:41.000 --> 27:45.000
This is how Christianity grows exponentially.

27:45.000 --> 27:47.000
This is how it's supposed to work.

27:47.000 --> 27:51.000
And people go, well, that was to the disciples only.

27:51.000 --> 27:56.000
Well, that's funny because it wouldn't have gotten very far if it was only to the disciples.

27:56.000 --> 27:58.000
This is a commandment to all Christians.

27:58.000 --> 28:02.000
Yes, it was to the disciples, but they went and taught other people to do these things.

28:02.000 --> 28:05.000
The apostle Paul didn't do this stuff by himself.

28:05.000 --> 28:10.000
He's the last apostle, but if you read his letters, which hopefully you have,

28:10.000 --> 28:14.000
he's always commending people that help him.

28:14.000 --> 28:20.000
Phoebe, command Phoebe, command all these, you know, all these Apollos and Timothy

28:20.000 --> 28:23.000
and all these different people helped him do these things.

28:23.000 --> 28:26.000
It's not like Paul was just, nope, it's just me.

28:26.000 --> 28:27.000
He just commanded the apostles.

28:27.000 --> 28:28.000
That's it.

28:28.000 --> 28:30.000
No, he commanded everybody to do these things.

28:30.000 --> 28:33.000
They helped him accomplish these goals.

28:33.000 --> 28:37.000
Other people helped, and that's because that's how Christianity grows.

28:37.000 --> 28:41.000
But notice how it says in verse 18, all power is given unto me.

28:41.000 --> 28:46.000
So, and there's that song, all power is given unto me.

28:46.000 --> 28:50.000
Go you and preach the gospel, you know, whatever that song.

28:50.000 --> 28:53.000
But all power is given unto Jesus.

28:53.000 --> 28:56.000
The Father has put all things into his hands.

28:56.000 --> 28:59.000
Now go to Acts 1, 8, Acts 1, 8.

28:59.000 --> 29:07.000
So, Jesus goes up 40 days after he rises from the dead, and he ascends up into heaven.

29:07.000 --> 29:15.000
And then 10 days later, at Pentecost, he sends the Holy Ghost

29:15.000 --> 29:19.000
and gives them the power of the Holy Ghost.

29:19.000 --> 29:24.000
See, the disciples already get, Jesus blows on them in, I think it's in John, the book of John,

29:24.000 --> 29:31.000
I think it's chapter 20, and he blows, and he says, receive ye the Holy Ghost.

29:31.000 --> 29:36.000
So the disciples are already indwelt with the Holy Ghost in John chapter 20.

29:36.000 --> 29:41.000
But he tells them here in Acts chapter number 1, verse 8, it says,

29:41.000 --> 29:47.000
But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you,

29:47.000 --> 29:54.000
And ye shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria,

29:54.000 --> 29:57.000
and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

29:57.000 --> 30:00.000
So, now notice it says, ye shall receive power.

30:00.000 --> 30:04.000
But didn't Jesus say in Matthew chapter 28, all power is given unto me?

30:04.000 --> 30:07.000
So who's sending that power to them?

30:07.000 --> 30:10.000
The Lord Jesus Christ sends the Holy Spirit.

30:10.000 --> 30:13.000
He's the one that sends the Holy Spirit.

30:13.000 --> 30:19.000
He says, it's expedient that I go, because if he doesn't go in John chapter 14,

30:19.000 --> 30:23.000
if he doesn't go, then the Spirit, the Comforter will not come.

30:23.000 --> 30:28.000
So he sends the Spirit of God into our hearts, crying Abba Father.

30:28.000 --> 30:33.000
That's why, I don't know why that's the case, but that's what Jesus said.

30:33.000 --> 30:38.000
And so when Jesus goes up into heaven, 10 days earlier than Pentecost,

30:38.000 --> 30:42.000
then 10 days after that, the power of God from on high comes,

30:42.000 --> 30:46.000
and that's when that great sermon is preached by Peter.

30:46.000 --> 30:51.000
That's when 5,000 people get saved and baptized on the same day.

30:51.000 --> 30:56.000
And so we get this power when we get saved.

30:56.000 --> 31:00.000
We get the Holy Spirit the moment we believe we get the Holy Spirit,

31:00.000 --> 31:02.000
and then we get this same power.

31:02.000 --> 31:06.000
This is something that transfers onto us also.

31:06.000 --> 31:08.000
But notice what it says in verse 9.

31:08.000 --> 31:12.000
It says, And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld,

31:12.000 --> 31:16.000
he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.

31:16.000 --> 31:20.000
And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven, he went up,

31:20.000 --> 31:24.000
behold, two men stood by them in white apparel.

31:24.000 --> 31:29.000
Which also said, ye men of Galilee, why stand ye up gazing up into heaven?

31:29.000 --> 31:33.000
This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven,

31:33.000 --> 31:39.000
shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

31:39.000 --> 31:41.000
So get the picture.

31:41.000 --> 31:43.000
Jesus, this is the Mount of Olives.

31:43.000 --> 31:48.000
Jesus just, you know, he tells them, he gives them this last thing.

31:48.000 --> 31:52.000
The last thing he tells them is that you're going to receive this power.

31:52.000 --> 31:54.000
The Holy Ghost is going to come upon you.

31:54.000 --> 31:56.000
You're going to be my witnesses.

31:56.000 --> 31:59.000
The last thing he tells them is to, you're going to get the power,

31:59.000 --> 32:02.000
and you're going to go to all these places in the uttermost parts of the earth.

32:02.000 --> 32:05.000
And it's like, whoosh, he just takes off.

32:05.000 --> 32:09.000
And they're just like, I kind of picture the disciples like this,

32:09.000 --> 32:13.000
with their mouths up and going, I don't know why,

32:13.000 --> 32:18.000
but I'm sure if we saw someone float off into a cloud,

32:18.000 --> 32:21.000
and just at some point we stopped seeing,

32:21.000 --> 32:24.000
it's like have you ever let a balloon fly up into the air,

32:24.000 --> 32:27.000
and at some point you just can't see it anymore?

32:27.000 --> 32:29.000
It's probably what they're doing, right?

32:29.000 --> 32:31.000
But it's Jesus instead.

32:31.000 --> 32:34.000
Well then these guys are just standing by all of a sudden.

32:34.000 --> 32:36.000
It's like, who are these, where did you guys come from?

32:36.000 --> 32:38.000
But what do they say to him?

32:38.000 --> 32:41.000
I think it's just really interesting what they say to him.

32:41.000 --> 32:43.000
Why are you just standing here?

32:43.000 --> 32:46.000
Why stand you gazing up into heaven?

32:46.000 --> 32:50.000
And then it's like, gee, he's going to come back in like manners,

32:50.000 --> 32:52.000
you've seen him go up.

32:52.000 --> 32:56.000
And I just kind of always just thought this was a really interesting thing to say to him.

32:56.000 --> 32:59.000
It's almost kind of like, why are you just standing around?

32:59.000 --> 33:00.000
You guys got things to do.

33:00.000 --> 33:02.000
You got work to do.

33:02.000 --> 33:06.000
And I know that the apostles are workers.

33:06.000 --> 33:08.000
I know that they're going to get the work done or whatever,

33:08.000 --> 33:12.000
but they kind of don't for a while.

33:12.000 --> 33:17.000
And I feel like, look, I'm not saying that obviously they're better men than I'll ever be.

33:17.000 --> 33:24.000
I'm just saying that they're kind of a little bit taking them to task here.

33:24.000 --> 33:26.000
Why are you just standing?

33:26.000 --> 33:28.000
I call this gawking.

33:28.000 --> 33:30.000
This is like a word for what they're doing.

33:30.000 --> 33:33.000
They're standing there staring up into space, gawking.

33:33.000 --> 33:39.000
I feel like that's what a lot of Christians do today instead of getting that work done.

33:39.000 --> 33:45.000
Instead of working and going out to Samaria and Judea and Jerusalem

33:45.000 --> 33:47.000
and the other most parts of the earth,

33:47.000 --> 33:53.000
they're standing around looking up at the sky, Jesus could just come back at any moment.

33:53.000 --> 33:54.000
And that's what they say.

33:54.000 --> 33:58.000
If they really believe that, then why aren't they just beating the bushes

33:58.000 --> 34:02.000
and going in the highways and the hedges and compelling people to come in?

34:02.000 --> 34:04.000
If they really believe that you can come back at any moment,

34:04.000 --> 34:06.000
I don't think that they really believe that.

34:06.000 --> 34:09.000
I don't really think that they believe that stupid lie,

34:09.000 --> 34:12.000
that stupid Jewish trick that Schofield pulled on the whole world.

34:12.000 --> 34:14.000
I don't believe that.

34:14.000 --> 34:15.000
I don't think that they really believe that.

34:15.000 --> 34:21.000
Because if you really believe that, you'd be even more of a soul winner than they really are.

34:21.000 --> 34:25.000
And the old IFB is not doing the job that they should be doing.

34:25.000 --> 34:27.000
I'm not saying that they have in the past, they have.

34:27.000 --> 34:31.000
I'm not saying that there's not good old IFB soul winning churches, there are.

34:31.000 --> 34:34.000
But they're not doing it now.

34:34.000 --> 34:37.000
Most of them are not doing it now.

34:37.000 --> 34:43.000
But you don't want to get a bad worker nickname.

34:43.000 --> 34:48.000
And in construction, construction is a rough type of job.

34:48.000 --> 34:51.000
I know anything that works in construction.

34:51.000 --> 34:52.000
Who else does?

34:52.000 --> 34:54.000
You work in construction?

34:54.000 --> 34:56.000
I know road construction here.

34:56.000 --> 34:59.000
And you work in some sort of a shop.

34:59.000 --> 35:03.000
I know that there's probably some rough customers there.

35:03.000 --> 35:08.000
But in all aspects of jobs, you might get nicknames.

35:08.000 --> 35:13.000
But in construction, it's jobs like that, blue collar jobs,

35:13.000 --> 35:17.000
you're going to get a lot of rousing if you're lazy.

35:17.000 --> 35:21.000
Or if you're just, there's things that people can pick on you about.

35:21.000 --> 35:24.000
I'm going to give you some of them.

35:24.000 --> 35:28.000
Well, for people in public that stand around watching other people work

35:28.000 --> 35:33.000
and try to nitpick what they're doing, we call them looky-loos.

35:33.000 --> 35:35.000
And they're just standing there.

35:35.000 --> 35:38.000
And they'll just, when I worked for the city,

35:38.000 --> 35:42.000
there would always be these, you know, I pay taxes and you're doing this,

35:42.000 --> 35:45.000
whatever on a Saturday and getting paid overtime or whatever.

35:45.000 --> 35:47.000
And they're like, yeah, because we can't do it during the day.

35:47.000 --> 35:49.000
And then, you know, they'll just stand there and watch you

35:49.000 --> 35:52.000
and just waiting for you to turn around so they can give you crap or whatever.

35:52.000 --> 35:54.000
But anyway, those are looky-loos.

35:54.000 --> 35:59.000
But here's the bad worker nicknames, right?

35:59.000 --> 36:03.000
And this is kind of what got me this idea.

36:03.000 --> 36:06.000
It says, why stand ye?

36:06.000 --> 36:08.000
Stanley.

36:08.000 --> 36:11.000
When people are just standing around doing nothing,

36:11.000 --> 36:13.000
we call those people Stanley.

36:13.000 --> 36:16.000
Or if they're just standing around.

36:16.000 --> 36:19.000
Or if they're just standing around with their hands in their pockets,

36:19.000 --> 36:21.000
we call them pockets.

36:21.000 --> 36:24.000
Hey, pockets, get over here and do something.

36:24.000 --> 36:27.000
So here's one that's maybe a little more crass.

36:27.000 --> 36:30.000
We call them pisser.

36:30.000 --> 36:32.000
They always have, whenever it's time to get something done,

36:32.000 --> 36:34.000
they always got to take a piss somewhere.

36:34.000 --> 36:36.000
They always got to, oh, I got to go to the bathroom.

36:36.000 --> 36:38.000
And you don't want that because at our job,

36:38.000 --> 36:42.000
you had to find a bathroom someplace off the job site.

36:42.000 --> 36:46.000
So if we had someone that we would call pisser,

36:46.000 --> 36:50.000
they had to carry the porta piss behind their truck on a little,

36:50.000 --> 36:53.000
you know, they have those trailer ones where you can put it on the trailer

36:53.000 --> 36:55.000
and drive around, and then they're pisser.

36:55.000 --> 36:59.000
So if you're a pisser, then you are the one that has to take

36:59.000 --> 37:02.000
the porta potty around with you.

37:02.000 --> 37:04.000
Okay?

37:04.000 --> 37:07.000
Here's some that, after I preach this little message,

37:07.000 --> 37:09.000
brother Matt Adams sent me these,

37:09.000 --> 37:13.000
so I can't claim that I know that I had these already up my sleeve,

37:13.000 --> 37:15.000
but these were pretty funny.

37:15.000 --> 37:19.000
Daisy, some daisy in and some days he isn't.

37:19.000 --> 37:23.000
So don't be a daisy.

37:23.000 --> 37:26.000
Kit Kat, always taking a break.

37:26.000 --> 37:29.000
Butter knife, not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

37:29.000 --> 37:34.000
And let's see, ET, always trying to go home.

37:34.000 --> 37:38.000
Those people that are like, oh, I got to go home because of this

37:38.000 --> 37:40.000
or that.

37:40.000 --> 37:43.000
Seaweed, floats around all day and stinks like crap.

37:43.000 --> 37:44.000
Okay.

37:44.000 --> 37:46.000
I don't know, that was pretty rough.

37:46.000 --> 37:50.000
But lantern, not very bright and has to be carried.

37:50.000 --> 37:55.000
So deck chair, always folds under pressure.

37:55.000 --> 37:58.000
And then my personal favorite is motion light.

37:58.000 --> 38:01.000
Only works when someone walks past them.

38:01.000 --> 38:05.000
There are people like that.

38:05.000 --> 38:06.000
Oh, the boss is here.

38:06.000 --> 38:07.000
Start working.

38:07.000 --> 38:08.000
Whatever.

38:08.000 --> 38:13.000
So, but we don't want to be, we've got enough Stanleys and Pockets

38:13.000 --> 38:16.000
and pissers in Christianity where, you know,

38:16.000 --> 38:19.000
we have enough people standing around doing nothing.

38:19.000 --> 38:22.000
We've got enough Christians in this world that don't want to help

38:22.000 --> 38:23.000
and do things.

38:23.000 --> 38:25.000
We don't want to be like that.

38:25.000 --> 38:27.000
We want to be people that are working and trying to get things done.

38:27.000 --> 38:31.000
And the main job that we do in this church is soul winning.

38:31.000 --> 38:33.000
That is the main thing.

38:33.000 --> 38:35.000
Obviously, doctrine is important.

38:35.000 --> 38:37.000
There's a lot of things that are important.

38:37.000 --> 38:40.000
But soul winning is the main thing.

38:40.000 --> 38:43.000
And that's the main ministry that we have.

38:43.000 --> 38:47.000
So we don't need people, and look, I'm not saying you can't come to this

38:47.000 --> 38:48.000
church if you don't go to soul winning.

38:48.000 --> 38:49.000
I'm not saying that.

38:49.000 --> 38:52.000
I'm just saying that, you know, if you've been out of it for a while,

38:52.000 --> 38:53.000
get back into it.

38:53.000 --> 38:57.000
We've already been given the power to do it.

38:57.000 --> 38:59.000
He's given us the charge to do it.

38:59.000 --> 39:02.000
And people are like, oh, I just need to pray and see if, you know,

39:03.000 --> 39:06.000
I've heard that for years in the old life.

39:06.000 --> 39:09.000
Well, I'm just praying to see if that's what God's will for my life is.

39:09.000 --> 39:11.000
You don't have to pray for it.

39:11.000 --> 39:14.000
He already told us he gave us the charge in Matthew chapter 28.

39:14.000 --> 39:17.000
And then he said, these are the places you're going to go.

39:17.000 --> 39:20.000
To the uttermost parts of the earth.

39:20.000 --> 39:21.000
Everywhere.

39:21.000 --> 39:24.000
So do you need to pray about going on a missions trip?

39:24.000 --> 39:25.000
No.

39:25.000 --> 39:27.000
Do you need to pray about going out to your community?

39:27.000 --> 39:28.000
No.

39:28.000 --> 39:30.000
Do you need to pray about giving someone the gospel at church?

39:30.000 --> 39:31.000
No.

39:31.000 --> 39:34.000
Do you need to pray about giving your family member the gospel?

39:34.000 --> 39:35.000
No.

39:35.000 --> 39:38.000
Do you have to pray about giving a coworker the gospel?

39:38.000 --> 39:39.000
No.

39:39.000 --> 39:40.000
You don't have to pray about these things.

39:40.000 --> 39:43.000
Jesus already said to do them.

39:43.000 --> 39:46.000
Now, do you need to maybe pray for boldness?

39:46.000 --> 39:47.000
Yeah.

39:47.000 --> 39:51.000
Do you need to pray that you could memorize the scriptures better?

39:51.000 --> 39:52.000
Yeah.

39:52.000 --> 39:53.000
You can pray about those types of things.

39:53.000 --> 39:57.000
But, you know, do you need to pray about going to North Korea?

39:57.000 --> 40:00.000
You need to just pray to get smart because, no, you don't need to go to North Korea right now.

40:00.000 --> 40:02.000
There are just things, places you don't go.

40:02.000 --> 40:05.000
Paul was told not to go to Asia at a certain point.

40:05.000 --> 40:09.000
But the Holy Ghost isn't necessarily going to tell you that right now.

40:09.000 --> 40:12.000
Paul had, like I said, Paul had special revelation.

40:12.000 --> 40:23.000
But he also, God gave us also intelligence to know, hey, don't go to an island off the coast of India where they've killed people every time they try to go to the island.

40:23.000 --> 40:25.000
This is common sense.

40:25.000 --> 40:26.000
All right?

40:27.000 --> 40:34.000
And so if they have already speared someone to death every time they go there, don't go to that place unless you've got guns.

40:34.000 --> 40:35.000
No.

40:35.000 --> 40:37.000
And we're not going to try to kill people, right?

40:37.000 --> 40:41.000
Turn to 2 Kings, Chapter 10, 2 Kings, Chapter 10.

40:41.000 --> 40:46.000
So we don't need to wonder whether we're doing something that's God's will.

40:46.000 --> 40:51.000
If you're going to the Alaska trip, you don't need to pray whether it's God's will for you to go.

40:51.000 --> 40:53.000
He just, just go.

40:53.000 --> 40:57.000
2 Kings, Chapter 10, Verse 15, 2 Kings, Chapter 10, Verse 15.

41:03.000 --> 41:06.000
And look, we can go to other people's families.

41:06.000 --> 41:10.000
You know, you want people to reach your family, well, why don't you go to somebody else's family?

41:10.000 --> 41:11.000
Sometimes people give special requests.

41:11.000 --> 41:13.000
Hey, can you go to this person's family?

41:13.000 --> 41:15.000
Can you go visit this person?

41:15.000 --> 41:17.000
And they're in our area.

41:17.000 --> 41:19.000
You know, special requests like that.

41:19.000 --> 41:22.000
Hey, if you want someone to reach your family member in a different area,

41:22.000 --> 41:25.000
why don't you go reach somebody else's family member in a different area?

41:25.000 --> 41:28.000
Here, or wherever you're close to.

41:28.000 --> 41:32.000
If you, when you're visiting someone else's church, do you go so many with their church?

41:32.000 --> 41:34.000
Do you go so many in their community?

41:34.000 --> 41:39.000
You know, and you want people to be reached in our country,

41:39.000 --> 41:41.000
well, why don't we go and help somebody in another country?

41:41.000 --> 41:43.000
And zealously affect some other Christians.

41:43.000 --> 41:45.000
Look at 2 Kings, Chapter 10.

41:45.000 --> 41:50.000
Verse 15.

41:50.000 --> 41:54.000
It says, When he was departed hence, he lighted on Jehanadab,

41:54.000 --> 41:58.000
the son of Rehkab, coming to meet him.

41:58.000 --> 42:03.000
And he saluted him and said to him, Is thy heart right, as my heart is with thy heart?

42:03.000 --> 42:06.000
And Jehanadab answered, It is.

42:06.000 --> 42:08.000
If it be, give me thine hand.

42:08.000 --> 42:12.000
And he gave him his hand, and he took him up into the chariot.

42:12.000 --> 42:15.000
And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD.

42:15.000 --> 42:17.000
So they made him ride in his chariot.

42:17.000 --> 42:22.000
And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria,

42:22.000 --> 42:29.000
till he had destroyed him according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.

42:29.000 --> 42:36.000
Now, this fateful meeting that Jehanadab had with Jehu, Jehu is full of zeal.

42:36.000 --> 42:40.000
You know, he is fully zealous for the things of God, of course.

42:40.000 --> 42:42.000
He's killing people.

42:42.000 --> 42:44.000
That's not what we're trying to do.

42:44.000 --> 42:49.000
But the zeal rubbed off on Jehanadab, the zeal for the LORD.

42:49.000 --> 42:54.000
And look, the zeal of soul winning can rub off on you.

42:54.000 --> 42:59.000
Jesus' zeal to help people rubbed off on other people.

42:59.000 --> 43:03.000
And your zeal for the LORD can rub off on other people.

43:03.000 --> 43:09.000
And so you don't know what your zeal can do for somebody else when you go soul winning with them.

43:09.000 --> 43:13.000
When some person, look, at the Red Hot Preaching Conference,

43:13.000 --> 43:16.000
there was people that came from other places that I had never met before.

43:16.000 --> 43:22.000
And maybe they're just coming, there was a specific family that had never gone out soul winning before.

43:22.000 --> 43:25.000
And they were visiting from a place and they were like,

43:25.000 --> 43:29.000
hey, we've been listening online and stuff, but we've never done soul winning before.

43:29.000 --> 43:34.000
And when you take someone with you like that and they've never seen someone get saved before,

43:34.000 --> 43:41.000
and they see that happen, that sparks a zeal in them to continue and carry it on themselves.

43:41.000 --> 43:43.000
And that zeal rubs off on them.

43:43.000 --> 43:46.000
And that's how other people become soul winners.

43:46.000 --> 43:49.000
You think it's no big deal because you've done it so many times,

43:49.000 --> 43:54.000
but to a person that's never done that before, it affects them greatly.

43:54.000 --> 43:57.000
And so when you think, nobody's going to miss me if I'm not there.

43:57.000 --> 44:00.000
Nobody's going to, it's not going to be a big deal.

44:00.000 --> 44:03.000
It's a bigger deal than you think.

44:03.000 --> 44:06.000
And Jehanadab was in the right place at the right time.

44:06.000 --> 44:10.000
And look, this affected his family for generations.

44:10.000 --> 44:15.000
Where Jeremiah the prophet goes and visits his family hundreds of years later,

44:15.000 --> 44:20.000
and they're still keeping commandment of their father Jehanadab.

44:20.000 --> 44:22.000
They're still not drinking any wine.

44:22.000 --> 44:25.000
They're still not living in their own houses.

44:25.000 --> 44:29.000
Everything that their father had commanded them to do, they're still doing.

44:29.000 --> 44:33.000
And it's an example that these people who are not children of Israel

44:33.000 --> 44:36.000
are keeping their father's commandment and the children of Israel.

44:36.000 --> 44:40.000
Jehu, his posterior was cut off.

44:40.000 --> 44:43.000
His children didn't remain kings in Israel

44:43.000 --> 44:48.000
because his zeal was great for a certain extent of time.

44:48.000 --> 44:51.000
But look, your zeal can rub off on other people

44:51.000 --> 44:54.000
and cause great things to happen in their lives.

44:54.000 --> 44:58.000
And look, we need to remember that there's other people besides ourselves to think about.

44:58.000 --> 45:03.000
And our zeal can last generations for somebody else.

45:03.000 --> 45:09.000
Don't underestimate the effect that you have on a new soul winner when they go out with you.

45:09.000 --> 45:14.000
Your attitude, how thorough you are, the wisdom and the joy that you impart with them.

45:14.000 --> 45:18.000
Just the fellowship with someone that's never gone before.

45:18.000 --> 45:21.000
It does help people. It does affect them.

45:21.000 --> 45:24.000
And it can affect them for the rest of their life.

45:24.000 --> 45:27.000
The impact of seeing that one salvation.

45:27.000 --> 45:32.000
Because a lot of times God will just allow that salvation to take place when you're with that new person.

45:32.000 --> 45:39.000
And something about that affects them because they see your zeal.

45:39.000 --> 45:45.000
And when you're going with a person for the first time, be excited about it.

45:45.000 --> 45:49.000
Show them the ropes. Teach them. Help them.

45:49.000 --> 45:53.000
And impart with them something. Don't have a bad attitude.

45:53.000 --> 45:58.000
And acting like it's just another day at the office. Get excited.

45:58.000 --> 46:01.000
Or the impact of going on a missions trip.

46:01.000 --> 46:04.000
We do the do it yourself missions trips.

46:04.000 --> 46:11.000
A life change that you may never see again, but you will see in heaven again.

46:11.000 --> 46:17.000
Their change may not be much in this life, but their eternity just changed.

46:17.000 --> 46:23.000
You might not have any kind of benefit at all from this in this life, but you know what?

46:23.000 --> 46:26.000
The benefits in heaven are going to be huge.

46:26.000 --> 46:30.000
And again, in this life, maybe they never find a good church to go to.

46:30.000 --> 46:32.000
Maybe they don't even do a lot of great works.

46:32.000 --> 46:36.000
But their eternity is affected forever.

46:36.000 --> 46:39.000
And you have a part to play in that.

46:39.000 --> 46:43.000
And so going without and doing things without our church.

46:43.000 --> 46:45.000
And doing things at other people's churches.

46:45.000 --> 46:51.000
And affecting other soul winners is a great way to keep your soul winning red hot.

46:51.000 --> 46:56.000
So it's important to stay red hot for soul winning.

46:56.000 --> 47:04.000
And have a fire in your belly for other nations and others outside the sphere of your influence.

47:04.000 --> 47:10.000
And when visiting other churches, you can be a help for that time that you are there.

47:10.000 --> 47:15.000
Maybe that pastor, you know, maybe you go to and visit on vacation like another church.

47:15.000 --> 47:18.000
Maybe their soul winning isn't doing great.

47:18.000 --> 47:20.000
You can be a help to that pastor.

47:20.000 --> 47:22.000
You can be an encouragement to that pastor.

47:22.000 --> 47:25.000
You can be an encouragement to some of the soul winners that are there.

47:25.000 --> 47:30.000
Or just even teach them something that maybe they were lacking in their soul winning presentation.

47:30.000 --> 47:33.000
That's why it's good to go with other partners sometimes.

47:33.000 --> 47:36.000
Because you teach other people new techniques.

47:36.000 --> 47:38.000
They teach you new things.

47:38.000 --> 47:41.000
And it's good to get fresh perspectives and to learn.

47:41.000 --> 47:43.000
You know, we should be lifelong learners.

47:43.000 --> 47:48.000
And learning from others things that you've never learned before.

47:48.000 --> 47:50.000
I'm not saying you're going to reinvent the wheel of soul winning.

47:50.000 --> 47:54.000
But there might be something that you can glean from them that helps you.

47:54.000 --> 47:56.000
And you know what? You can also make new friends.

47:56.000 --> 48:01.000
When you go with someone you've never gone before, you know, there's these things called other friends.

48:01.000 --> 48:05.000
You don't have to just have cliques and only certain people you hang around.

48:05.000 --> 48:07.000
You can be friends with a multitude of people.

48:07.000 --> 48:14.000
And you can make new friends out soul winning and meet friends that maybe would be a lifelong friend.

48:14.000 --> 48:15.000
You never know.

48:15.000 --> 48:21.000
Now the last point I have here is keep your soul winning red hot because it's hot down below.

48:21.000 --> 48:22.000
It's hot down below.

48:22.000 --> 48:24.000
Look at Luke chapter 16 verse 23.

48:24.000 --> 48:27.000
Turn to Luke 16 verse 23.

48:27.000 --> 48:32.000
Luke 16, 23.

48:33.000 --> 48:39.000
Of course, it's the famous story of the rich man and Lazarus.

48:39.000 --> 48:41.000
Why is the rich man not named?

48:41.000 --> 48:44.000
Because it really doesn't matter what his name is.

48:44.000 --> 48:48.000
Because he's in hell.

48:48.000 --> 48:51.000
He's dead for all eternity.

48:51.000 --> 48:59.000
But it says in verse 23, and in hell, he talking about the rich man, lift up his eyes being in torments

48:59.000 --> 49:04.000
and see if Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom.

49:04.000 --> 49:15.000
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue for I'm tormented in this flame.

49:15.000 --> 49:24.000
But Abraham said, son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receive us thy good things and likewise Lazarus evil things.

49:24.000 --> 49:27.000
But now he is comforted and thou are tormented.

49:27.000 --> 49:35.000
And beside all this, between us and you, there's a great goal fixed so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot.

49:35.000 --> 49:40.000
Neither can they pass to us that would come from thence.

49:40.000 --> 49:45.000
There are people dying and going to hell every half second.

49:45.000 --> 49:53.000
That is the statistic that is given that every half second someone dies.

49:53.000 --> 49:55.000
That's two people per second.

49:55.000 --> 50:00.000
So I mean, that's a huge statistic.

50:00.000 --> 50:05.000
Every second two people are dying, just dying.

50:05.000 --> 50:08.000
And a lot of those people are going to hell.

50:08.000 --> 50:10.000
A lot of them are going to hell.

50:10.000 --> 50:12.000
The Bible says there's few that be saved.

50:12.000 --> 50:20.000
Not broad is the way that leadeth unto destruction and many be that go in there at.

50:21.000 --> 50:29.000
Because straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leadeth unto life and few there be that find it.

50:29.000 --> 50:32.000
There's very few people that are saved in this world.

50:32.000 --> 50:34.000
Few means like three.

50:34.000 --> 50:36.000
You know, there's just a few.

50:36.000 --> 50:38.000
And I'm not saying there's only like three in the whole world.

50:38.000 --> 50:39.000
I'm not saying that.

50:39.000 --> 50:48.000
I'm just saying if you put three as a percentage, three or four or five or whatever as a percentage, that's not a lot of people in the grand scheme of things.

50:48.000 --> 50:50.000
I mean, it's millions in the world.

50:50.000 --> 51:05.000
But in places like India and China and these places with massive amounts of hard to reach people like Buddhists and Hindus and Muslims who might as well be Mormons.

51:05.000 --> 51:09.000
I mean, there's probably even fewer.

51:09.000 --> 51:14.000
But in places where it's a little more receptive, probably better percentages.

51:14.000 --> 51:22.000
But people are dying to go into hell at rapid succession and there's not a lot of people to reach these people.

51:22.000 --> 51:24.000
Not like we need.

51:24.000 --> 51:27.000
And so why is it so important that we stay red hot?

51:27.000 --> 51:29.000
Because we can't afford to lose any more laborers.

51:29.000 --> 51:32.000
We can't afford to lose any more soul winners.

51:32.000 --> 51:34.000
We need to gain some.

51:34.000 --> 51:35.000
We need to get more.

51:35.000 --> 51:39.000
We need to recruit more, not less.

51:39.000 --> 51:49.000
And the last thing we need is people dropping off on soul winning and not going soul winning and not caring about people and caring more about their own selves than they do other people.

51:49.000 --> 51:52.000
And, you know, Jesus died saving others.

51:52.000 --> 51:53.000
He didn't care.

51:53.000 --> 51:56.000
He didn't care about his own life in that way.

51:56.000 --> 51:58.000
He cared about others being saved.

51:58.000 --> 52:00.000
That's selfless.

52:00.000 --> 52:03.000
That's charity.

52:03.000 --> 52:04.000
That is love.

52:04.000 --> 52:11.000
Greater love have no man have no none than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.

52:11.000 --> 52:15.000
And we are his friends if we do whatever he asks.

52:15.000 --> 52:16.000
Right.

52:16.000 --> 52:19.000
So two people die every second.

52:19.000 --> 52:22.000
One hundred and twenty people every minute.

52:22.000 --> 52:24.000
Seventy two hundred people every hour.

52:24.000 --> 52:27.000
One hundred seventy thousand people every day.

52:27.000 --> 52:31.000
One hundred sixty or sixty million people every year.

52:31.000 --> 52:34.000
That's a lot of people that are dying.

52:34.000 --> 52:37.000
And you think that half those people are going to heaven?

52:37.000 --> 52:39.000
No, they're not.

52:39.000 --> 52:41.000
Half those people are not going to heaven.

52:41.000 --> 52:44.000
A quarter of those people are not going to heaven.

52:44.000 --> 52:46.000
Fifteen percent of those people are not going to heaven.

52:46.000 --> 52:49.000
Ten percent of those people are probably not going to heaven.

52:49.000 --> 52:52.000
Maybe three to five percent are.

52:52.000 --> 52:54.000
Maybe.

52:54.000 --> 52:57.000
That would be a few.

52:57.000 --> 53:00.000
That's a small percentage of people.

53:00.000 --> 53:05.000
Very small.

53:05.000 --> 53:10.000
So stay red hot because hell is hot.

53:10.000 --> 53:13.000
It's important to stay red hot in our soul.

53:13.000 --> 53:17.000
You know I got saved because I knew that hell was a reality.

53:17.000 --> 53:20.000
And you know what I knew I was going there.

53:20.000 --> 53:22.000
That's why I got saved.

53:22.000 --> 53:25.000
I got saved because I knew I was going to hell.

53:25.000 --> 53:28.000
How about you guys?

53:28.000 --> 53:31.000
I mean what are we getting saved from?

53:31.000 --> 53:35.000
I didn't get saved because I knew that the warmth of Jesus' love or whatever.

53:35.000 --> 53:39.000
I knew, I mean obviously I knew that Jesus loved me and died for me.

53:39.000 --> 53:43.000
But I didn't get saved because I felt this comfort and warmth.

53:43.000 --> 53:46.000
You know people give these like weird testimonies or whatever.

53:46.000 --> 53:50.000
And look I'm not saying there isn't people that like they're low hanging fruit.

53:50.000 --> 53:52.000
They respond to the love of God.

53:52.000 --> 53:54.000
I'm not saying that that's weird.

53:54.000 --> 53:57.000
But I'm just saying that that wasn't my experience.

53:57.000 --> 53:59.000
My experience was that I believed the Bible.

53:59.000 --> 54:03.000
And that if I believed in Jesus, that I knew I'd be saved.

54:03.000 --> 54:06.000
And I didn't want to go to hell.

54:06.000 --> 54:12.000
Turn to Jude, the book of Jude.

54:12.000 --> 54:16.000
But I know that I deserve to go to hell.

54:16.000 --> 54:21.000
And for whatever reason, he sought me out.

54:21.000 --> 54:23.000
And I was a hard case.

54:23.000 --> 54:25.000
And he really had to work to get me.

54:25.000 --> 54:27.000
Because I know the devil wanted me.

54:27.000 --> 54:30.000
For whatever reason or purpose.

54:30.000 --> 54:36.000
But I mean I was recruited by the Freemasons more than once.

54:36.000 --> 54:39.000
Like multiple, three times.

54:39.000 --> 54:41.000
Multiple times.

54:41.000 --> 54:43.000
So I don't know why they wanted me so much.

54:43.000 --> 54:46.000
But even as a teenager they tried to recruit me.

54:46.000 --> 54:51.000
But I mean I just wasn't, you know, demon lay sounds like demon lay.

54:51.000 --> 54:53.000
You know I didn't want nothing to do with it.

54:53.000 --> 54:56.000
So I was a little weary of that.

54:56.000 --> 54:59.000
Plus the fact that they were watching us all weekend on cameras or something.

54:59.000 --> 55:01.000
I felt like it was just weird.

55:01.000 --> 55:04.000
So anyway, they didn't make me do anything weird though.

55:04.000 --> 55:06.000
So don't think that.

55:06.000 --> 55:09.000
But anyway, Jude 1-21 says,

55:09.000 --> 55:12.000
Keep yourselves in the love of God,

55:12.000 --> 55:18.000
looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

55:18.000 --> 55:21.000
And if some have compassion, making a difference.

55:21.000 --> 55:23.000
Look there are those people that we're just going to come across.

55:23.000 --> 55:26.000
And they're just looking for compassion.

55:26.000 --> 55:28.000
And we give them Jesus.

55:28.000 --> 55:32.000
And then there's these ones right here in verse 23.

55:32.000 --> 55:36.000
Others, saved with fear, pulling them out of the fire.

55:36.000 --> 55:39.000
Hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

55:39.000 --> 55:42.000
Look there's some people, they're real close to the flames of hell.

55:42.000 --> 55:45.000
And they just need someone to pull them out.

55:45.000 --> 55:48.000
And those are the people that we have to tell about hell.

55:48.000 --> 55:51.000
And look, we can't flinch about these things.

55:51.000 --> 55:54.000
We have to tell them about hell.

55:54.000 --> 55:56.000
We have to tell them about the reality of hell.

55:56.000 --> 56:01.000
And look, more people now, I feel like more people nowadays, today,

56:01.000 --> 56:04.000
they'll try to say that they don't believe in hell.

56:04.000 --> 56:09.000
Or they'll say that they don't deserve to go there, even though they know that hell is real.

56:09.000 --> 56:14.000
I'm just like, what do you mean you don't think that you don't believe that you need to go there?

56:14.000 --> 56:20.000
There was a guy over the weekend, he said he didn't believe in hell.

56:20.000 --> 56:23.000
We're in hell right now.

56:23.000 --> 56:26.000
That's a stupid popular belief that people say, isn't it?

56:26.000 --> 56:29.000
I was like, you're not on fire, man.

56:29.000 --> 56:31.000
I don't see any fire around you.

56:31.000 --> 56:33.000
Because that's what hell is.

56:33.000 --> 56:35.000
And I quoted him some verses.

56:35.000 --> 56:40.000
It's like, that's why people won't get saved, because of dumb stuff like that, that they get taught.

56:41.000 --> 56:48.000
And it all gets regurgitated in stupid movies and all kinds of other dumb books that people read.

56:48.000 --> 56:50.000
And they start believing this stuff.

56:50.000 --> 56:51.000
Hell is real.

56:51.000 --> 56:54.000
And it's a place of fire and torment and screaming.

56:54.000 --> 56:56.000
And the rich man lift up his eyes and held.

56:56.000 --> 57:03.000
The moment he woke up from dying, his eyes were in flames of fire.

57:03.000 --> 57:04.000
He was on fire.

57:04.000 --> 57:10.000
And he just wanted a drop of water, just some kind of soothing to get out of it.

57:10.000 --> 57:19.000
And you know, they're going to get resurrected on the last day, on judgment day, just for a brief moment.

57:19.000 --> 57:23.000
Just so God can judge them according to their works.

57:23.000 --> 57:27.000
And then they're going to be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity.

57:27.000 --> 57:30.000
So they get a little reprieve for a second.

57:30.000 --> 57:36.000
And then their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched for all eternity.

57:36.000 --> 57:39.000
And all they had to do is believe.

57:39.000 --> 57:43.000
But some people didn't get reached, because somebody didn't tell them.

57:43.000 --> 57:45.000
Somebody was too afraid to tell them.

57:45.000 --> 57:47.000
Someone didn't take the time to tell them.

57:47.000 --> 57:53.000
Someone was just standing around with their hands in their pockets and didn't care.

57:53.000 --> 57:57.000
Something was more important.

57:57.000 --> 58:00.000
Look, I'm not saying that we should be 24, 7, 3, 6, 5, only soul-willing.

58:00.000 --> 58:02.000
I'm not saying that.

58:02.000 --> 58:07.000
But hey, if you've lost your zeal to soul-willing, if you don't care anymore,

58:07.000 --> 58:11.000
look, you need to get your heart right with God and start caring again.

58:11.000 --> 58:17.000
Because we need to keep our zeal for God, we need to keep our soul-willing red hot.

58:17.000 --> 58:18.000
Let's pray.

58:18.000 --> 58:21.000
Lord, thank you so much for the Bible.

58:21.000 --> 58:24.000
Lord, help us if we're backslidden in this area.

58:24.000 --> 58:27.000
Lord, help any of us, including me, Lord.

58:27.000 --> 58:30.000
And help us to have a zeal for soul-willing.

58:30.000 --> 58:33.000
Help us, Lord, to care about the lost.

58:33.000 --> 58:38.000
Help us to look on the multitude with compassion and be moved with compassion

58:38.000 --> 58:40.000
to do something about it.

58:40.000 --> 58:43.000
Help us to look for opportunities in our daily life.

58:43.000 --> 58:45.000
Help us to look for opportunities in our family life.

58:45.000 --> 58:47.000
Help us to look for opportunities in our community.

58:47.000 --> 58:51.000
Help us to care about the people in other nations.

58:51.000 --> 58:57.000
Help us to care about the people in other nations, in other states, in other churches.

58:57.000 --> 59:02.000
And wherever we can find opportunity, Lord, help us to use our life as a living sacrifice for you

59:02.000 --> 59:06.000
and that you would be pleased with our efforts, Lord.

59:06.000 --> 59:07.000
Help us to care.

59:07.000 --> 59:09.000
In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

59:09.000 --> 59:12.000
Right.

59:12.000 --> 59:17.000
Remember the first time I actually was a talker and presented the Gospel to someone,

59:17.000 --> 59:22.000
it was a girl here in Vancouver who was like, I just moved here from Cincinnati.

59:22.000 --> 59:25.000
And I was like, I just moved here from Cincinnati.

59:25.000 --> 59:31.000
And then she got saved and was like, what are the statistical chances of me knocking that door?

59:31.000 --> 59:32.000
Right?

59:32.000 --> 59:34.000
And so it's kind of interesting.

59:34.000 --> 59:35.000
353.

59:35.000 --> 59:37.000
Yeah, From Every Stormy Wind.

59:37.000 --> 59:39.000
353 in the red of the green.

59:39.000 --> 59:45.000
From every stormy wind that blows.

59:45.000 --> 59:51.000
From every stormy wind that blows.

59:51.000 --> 59:57.000
From every stormy wind that blows.

59:57.000 --> 01:00:03.000
From every stormy wind that blows.

01:00:03.000 --> 01:00:09.000
From every stormy wind that blows.

01:00:09.000 --> 01:00:15.000
From every stormy wind that blows.

01:00:15.000 --> 01:00:21.000
From every stormy wind that blows.

01:00:21.000 --> 01:00:33.000
From beneath the mercy sea.

01:00:33.000 --> 01:00:42.000
There is a place where Jesus sheds.

01:00:42.000 --> 01:00:49.000
For the gladness born.

01:00:49.000 --> 01:01:01.000
For it's a place that all besides more sweet.

01:01:01.000 --> 01:01:11.000
It is a place where all is seen.

01:01:11.000 --> 01:01:21.000
It is a place where all is seen.

01:01:21.000 --> 01:01:26.000
Where spirits learn.

01:01:26.000 --> 01:01:31.000
The friend holds the Lord.

01:01:31.000 --> 01:01:35.000
Shed the friend.

01:01:35.000 --> 01:01:40.000
The son that born.

01:01:40.000 --> 01:01:45.000
By faith they meet.

01:01:45.000 --> 01:02:00.000
Around one God in mercy sea.

01:02:00.000 --> 01:02:10.000
There there on eagles wings we soar.

01:02:10.000 --> 01:02:20.000
And sin and sins move us onward.

01:02:20.000 --> 01:02:30.000
And then comes the our souls to greet.

01:02:30.000 --> 01:02:45.000
When glory comes on mercy sea.

01:03:00.000 --> 01:03:10.000
When glory comes on mercy sea.
