The smoke of its torment is 10:48.080 --> 10:54.720 Being is basically like kind of like it like hell. It's going to be destroyed forever. So it's uninhabitable. So 10:55.360 --> 10:59.960 If that's the case, how does Jesus Christ rule and reign from if it's in Jerusalem? 10:59.960 --> 11:02.520 How does he rule and reign from there in the in the millennial kingdom? 13:01.500 --> 13:04.540 So that's when they're going to realize 13:04.540 --> 13:06.340 that that's not their Messiah. 13:06.340 --> 13:08.780 They already killed their Messiah a long time ago. 13:08.780 --> 13:11.740 They might even, you know, believe that Jesus is their Messiah 13:11.740 --> 13:13.580 even when he turns against them. 13:13.580 --> 13:15.820 But the reason why I believe that 13:15.820 --> 13:17.620 is because of Daniel chapter 9. 13:18.200 --> 13:22.920 And I'll get into some of the reasons about why I believe the United States is Babylon 13:22.920 --> 13:23.920 also. 13:23.920 --> 13:27.580 So let's look down in our Bible there at verse number 26. 13:27.580 --> 13:31.760 And my first point is the geographical timeline of the prince that shall come. 13:31.760 --> 13:41.000 So Daniel 9.26 and 27 says, And after three score and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, 13:41.000 --> 13:42.000 but not for himself. 13:42.000 --> 13:44.000 This is talking about the death of Christ. 13:44.200 --> 13:49.640 because he was the messiah of course and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy 13:49.640 --> 13:57.320 the city and sanctuary and i've gotten side eye looks and ignored over this interpretation of this 13:57.320 --> 14:03.720 part of the passage but who are the people of the prince that shall come the prince that shall come 14:03.720 --> 14:07.960 it's talking about the anti-christ when you're looking at the context of this passage i don't 14:07.960 --> 14:10.080 I don't think very many people dispute that except for ... 14:10.500 --> 14:17.180 Preterists and people like that but the prince that shall come that it's talking about is talking about the Antichrist here 14:17.180 --> 14:19.180 So he's the little horn 14:19.300 --> 14:22.900 He is the the one speaking great things against the most high 14:23.860 --> 14:30.020 But it says the people the princess show that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary 14:30.180 --> 14:35.460 Now in history at this point the first temple has already been destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar 14:36.200 --> 14:41.720 This is Daniel talking in Daniel chapter 9. He was already taken away from Babylon. There's 14:41.720 --> 14:46.760 already been the destruction of the temple. 70 years the land is supposed to rest. So, 14:47.640 --> 14:51.720 and according to Jeremiah the prophet, 70 years later they're going to go back into 14:51.720 --> 14:57.720 and rebuild the temple. So this is talking about the next temple. So what happened in 70 AD? 14:58.280 --> 15:01.880 Well, General Titus came in and destroyed it and completely 15:02.500 --> 15:07.620 through everything off the temple mount. You can still see the pieces near the west on the western 15:07.620 --> 15:12.740 side of the wall. A lot of the rubble is still there. You can zoom in right now on Google Earth 15:12.740 --> 15:18.820 and look at the pile of rubble right there today. That's where it's at. So Jesus said there wouldn't 15:18.820 --> 15:20.820 be one stone left upon another. 15:21.300 --> 15:25.220 He's right. It all is down on the ground there and whatever they've scavenged out of there, 15:25.220 --> 15:29.940 I'm sure they've taken a lot of stuff away from it. But the people that did that, what is the name 15:35.380 --> 15:41.860 of that people? It's the Romans. Okay, so who are the people of the prince that shall come? 15:41.860 --> 15:47.540 They're the Romans. So what is the prince that shall come? He's a Roman. 15:48.300 --> 15:51.900 Okay, now the Antichrist hasn't come yet. And it kind of uses that language and I think in Revelation 56:05.960 --> 56:13.800 chapter 17. 2 Thessalonians 2 verse 4 says, who so or who opposeth and exalteth himself above all 56:13.800 --> 56:20.200 that is called God or that is worshiped so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing 56:20.200 --> 56:27.240 himself that he is God. And this is what he does when he reveals himself as the antichrist to 56:27.240 --> 56:28.840 to Christians, we know like. 56:29.000 --> 56:36.040 You know, in a prophetic feast, the trumpets blow on the seventh month on the tenth day, 56:36.040 --> 56:40.720 that was supposed to be done in Israel in the feast, that is the warning that the Antichrist 56:40.720 --> 56:41.840 has come. 56:41.840 --> 56:46.320 The seventh month on the tenth day is the exact midpoint on the Hebrew calendar. 56:46.320 --> 56:51.560 So if you do the math mathematically, that is the seventh month on the tenth day. 56:51.560 --> 56:52.200 So. 56:52.500 --> 56:55.100 That is the warning that that's the Antichrist. 56:55.100 --> 56:59.200 So we're supposed to, that's the next thing that's going to happen for Christians to know 56:59.200 --> 57:02.500 that this is prophecy kicking off for sure we know. 57:02.500 --> 57:07.500 We're not going to necessarily know when the seven year treaty is signed. 57:07.500 --> 57:11.820 I mean it's like well wouldn't we know when the temple starts getting built? 01:00:48.160 --> 01:00:49.580 What was originally there? 01:00:49.580 --> 01:00:51.300 The Tower of Babel. 01:00:51.300 --> 01:00:52.400 What is... 01:00:52.500 --> 01:00:56.500 What actually became of that place? 01:00:56.500 --> 01:00:58.500 It became Babylon. 01:00:58.500 --> 01:00:59.500 Okay? 01:00:59.500 --> 01:01:01.500 Now what's interesting about this though is that 01:01:01.500 --> 01:01:03.500 at the time that this was written, 01:01:03.500 --> 01:01:07.500 Babylon had already been taken over by the Medes and Persians and destroyed. 01:01:07.500 --> 01:01:10.500 So why would they be going to the land of Shinar? 01:01:10.500 --> 01:01:14.500 Well, I mean, I think this is symbolically talking about 01:01:14.500 --> 01:01:19.500 going to Babylon, maybe the spiritual Babylon. 01:01:19.800 --> 01:01:24.840 You know, because Babylon in the end times, I think it's talking about the next Babylon 01:01:24.840 --> 01:01:26.640 of the end times is where it's going. 01:01:26.640 --> 01:01:28.720 It's going to the next place. 01:01:28.720 --> 01:01:33.980 Because what happens is, you know, because the head of gold gets destroyed and gets taken 01:01:33.980 --> 01:01:35.840 over by the Medes and Persians. 01:01:35.840 --> 01:01:40.240 Then that, that Ifa gets transferred to another place. 01:01:40.240 --> 01:01:42.360 But the Ifa represents what? 01:01:42.360 --> 01:01:43.280 Merchandise and goods. 01:01:44.000 --> 01:01:47.360 Okay, and then what comes with that merchandise and goods? 01:01:47.360 --> 01:01:52.640 A wicked woman, spiritual wickedness comes with it. 01:01:52.640 --> 01:01:53.360 And what does it do? 01:01:53.360 --> 01:01:55.680 It corrupts the kings of that nation. 01:01:56.400 --> 01:02:00.480 And then over time, it becomes more and more corrupt 01:02:00.480 --> 01:02:03.920 until it gets destroyed and then replaced by another place 01:02:03.920 --> 01:02:06.160 and then it gets picked up and taken away. 01:02:06.160 --> 01:02:07.680 So, but what does it get? 01:02:07.680 --> 01:02:08.560 What happens to it? 01:02:08.560 --> 01:02:11.520 Well, it gets taken to build another house. 01:02:12.200 --> 01:02:18.360 and then it's established and set upon her own base. And what else gets set upon bases? 01:02:18.360 --> 01:02:26.920 Well, how about idols and statues? And that's a big major part of the Babylonian, 01:02:26.920 --> 01:02:33.880 the spiritual Babylonian system is idolatry. So you have the commerce, the idolatry, 01:02:33.880 --> 01:02:38.920 the spiritual wickedness, and also the military power that is behind that. 01:02:39.400 --> 01:02:43.160 And look, this is how every nation has been corrupted throughout time. 01:02:43.160 --> 01:02:47.500 And tonight I'm going to go a little more in depth about this, but I think it is important 01:02:47.500 --> 01:02:55.560 to understand that that passage is super important to understanding about Babylon. 01:02:55.560 --> 01:03:05.800 So in Shinar is the geographical root in spiritual, the spiritual and functional fulfillment. 01:03:05.900 --> 01:03:08.500 and it dynamically sits upon many waters, 01:03:08.500 --> 01:03:11.400 but there's always a home base, 01:03:11.400 --> 01:03:13.700 because Babylon was the home base. 01:03:13.700 --> 01:03:17.440 Then wherever the capital was for the Medes and Persians, 01:03:17.440 --> 01:03:22.440 they kind of had a dual rule of the world. 01:03:23.640 --> 01:03:25.020 And then you had the Greek Empire, 01:03:25.020 --> 01:03:26.380 and then the Roman Empire. 01:03:26.380 --> 01:03:28.420 Of course, they all had their main places 01:03:28.420 --> 01:03:29.360 they ruled from. 01:03:31.000 --> 01:03:35.320 the United States, what would be the place that we rule from?
