And I think there's just a small group that's headed that way. We're seeing the curses of God played out here in this nation. 36:53.120 --> 36:59.260 And at the end of this particular chapter, we have just kind of a crazy story that is 36:59.260 --> 37:05.200 very grievous to read in the Bible. But this does happen. And if we look back at verse 37:05.200 --> 37:10.060 26, it says, and the king of Israel is passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto 37:10.060 --> 37:12.820 him saying, Help my Lord O King. 37:12.900 --> 37:16.680 And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, when shall I help thee? 37:16.680 --> 37:19.280 Out of the barn floor or out of the winepress. 37:19.280 --> 37:21.600 And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? 37:21.600 --> 37:28.220 And she answered, The woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him today, and 37:28.220 --> 37:30.340 we will eat my son tomorrow. 37:30.340 --> 37:32.800 So he boiled my son and did eat him. 37:32.800 --> 37:37.060 And I said unto her, On the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him, and she hath 37:37.060 --> 37:37.820 hit or sun. 37:38.300 --> 37:44.540 Now, this is a crazy story, and I want to make it clear that what the Bible is saying 37:44.540 --> 37:47.180 here, this is not a normal thing, of course. 37:47.180 --> 37:54.740 These people are going through extreme starvation, extreme war and siege. 37:54.740 --> 38:00.700 They're being besieged by an enemy, and so all the foods ran out, all the famine that's 38:00.700 --> 38:06.020 plaguing them is causing them to go crazy and have horrific 38:06.300 --> 38:08.900 that would normally never happen to anyone, 38:08.900 --> 38:12.240 but just through the extreme circumstances, 38:12.240 --> 38:16.440 they've gotten to a place where they're not only cannibalizing, 38:16.440 --> 38:18.240 you know, people in their society, 38:18.240 --> 38:20.280 they're cannibalizing their own children, 38:20.280 --> 38:23.980 which kind of seems like an unimaginable thing. 38:24.500 --> 38:29.500 But it is something where if you push people to a specific degree, they could get to this 38:29.500 --> 38:30.500 place. 38:30.500 --> 38:34.100 But the Bible is basically describing what the Bible calls a curse. 38:34.100 --> 38:39.700 This is a curse that has happened to Jerusalem specifically, and God is cursing the children 38:39.700 --> 38:44.820 of Israel for having turned away from his commandments and having been rebellious against 38:44.820 --> 38:51.460 God, going into all kinds of fornication and adultery and idolatry and just innocent blood 38:51.460 --> 38:52.300 being shared. 38:52.500 --> 38:55.780 and just so much oppression and just all this evil, 38:55.780 --> 38:59.520 just worshiping false gods and going after Baal, 38:59.520 --> 39:02.500 which is representative of Satan. 39:02.500 --> 39:07.200 Going after all this evil has caused God to plague them 39:07.200 --> 39:10.380 and to bring curses upon them so much so 39:10.380 --> 39:13.860 that the women are cannibalizing their own children. 39:13.860 --> 39:17.180 And this is what's crazy, is she asked the king to help her. 39:17.700 --> 39:20.980 Now, what is she asking for though? She's not asking for food. 39:20.980 --> 39:23.780 She's not asking for some kind of substance. 39:23.780 --> 39:27.220 She's asking, can we please kill another child and eat him? 39:27.220 --> 39:30.100 That is what her request is. She's saying, hey, please help me, 39:30.100 --> 39:32.660 because we already killed my child and ate it. 39:32.660 --> 39:36.580 Now I want to kill this other woman's child and I want to eat it. 39:36.580 --> 39:41.300 And what's, you know, you can kind of see at least the one woman, 39:42.340 --> 39:45.380 you know, one woman killed her own son and ate it. 39:46.000 --> 39:49.640 The other woman was willing to eat someone else's son, 39:49.640 --> 39:52.300 but then I guess she has at least a little bit. 39:52.500 --> 39:54.900 of remorse or a little bit. 39:54.900 --> 39:56.400 Maybe she was just being deceptive 39:56.400 --> 39:57.760 or perhaps from remorse, 39:57.760 --> 39:59.740 she's not willing to actually kill her own son. 39:59.740 --> 40:02.100 So even in this extreme circumstance, 40:02.100 --> 40:04.780 not every woman is willing to go down this path. 40:04.780 --> 40:06.740 But we do see at least one of them 40:06.740 --> 40:08.680 is willing to harm their own children 40:08.680 --> 40:10.580 and other children and just kind of gone 40:10.580 --> 40:12.340 down this really dark path. 40:12.340 --> 40:16.260 But this is a fulfillment of Deuteronomy 28. 40:16.260 --> 40:19.220 And let's go there into the back of your Bible 40:19.220 --> 40:20.420 or the beginning, I guess. 40:20.500 --> 40:26.740 I could say to the Old Testament law and look at Deuteronomy 28 which is a pretty famous 40:26.740 --> 40:28.420 section of scripture. 40:28.420 --> 40:33.600 It's describing what God will do if you follow the commandments and what will happen if you 40:33.600 --> 40:34.600 don't follow the commandments. 40:34.600 --> 40:37.880 And the first section of Deuteronomy 28 is giving all the blessings that God's going 40:37.880 --> 40:41.500 to bless them greatly and multiply them and things are going to go well with them. 40:42.100 --> 40:45.800 But if they don't hearken, he says he's going to curse them. 40:45.800 --> 40:48.460 And I want you to notice, we're going to look at a few verses. 40:48.460 --> 40:49.460 Look at verse 15. 40:49.460 --> 40:54.500 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken under the voice of the Lord thy God, 40:54.500 --> 40:58.140 to observe the new all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day, 40:58.140 --> 41:03.500 that all these curses shall come upon thee and overtake thee. 41:03.500 --> 41:07.820 And then it just lists, I mean you can just look at verses 16, 17, 18, 19, just starts 41:07.820 --> 41:09.180 with the word cursed. 41:09.180 --> 41:10.060 curse each other. 41:10.100 --> 41:14.300 in the city and cursed at thy basket and cursed the fruit of thy body and cursed. 41:14.300 --> 41:18.820 And it's just, I mean, this is a long chapter of the Bible just saying how many ways they're 41:18.820 --> 41:21.600 going to be cursed, cursed of God. 41:21.600 --> 41:25.280 And if you go all the way towards the end of the curses in verse 56, the Bible says 41:25.280 --> 41:27.700 the tender and delicate woman among you. 41:28.200 --> 41:31.480 which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot 41:31.480 --> 41:34.760 upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, 41:34.760 --> 41:39.560 her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, 41:39.560 --> 41:42.680 and toward her son, and toward her daughter, 41:42.680 --> 41:46.600 and toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, 41:46.600 --> 41:49.080 and toward her children which she shall bear, 41:49.080 --> 41:52.680 for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly 41:52.680 --> 41:54.360 in the siege and straightness, 41:54.360 --> 41:56.120 wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee. 41:56.200 --> 41:57.200 in thy gates." 41:57.200 --> 42:04.140 So, the Bible warns that, hey, I'm going to punish you so much so that a woman who is 42:04.140 --> 42:09.800 a very, by nature, tender woman, a delicate woman, there's nothing even really you could 42:09.800 --> 42:12.180 say amiss about this particular individual. 42:12.180 --> 42:18.840 Maybe she was a nice person in her upbringing, but she's going to, her heart and her mind 42:18.840 --> 42:21.680 is going to be evil affected towards her children. 42:22.000 --> 42:25.100 and not just her children, it says her infants, 42:25.100 --> 42:28.500 because it's like talking about the one that just came out between her feet, 42:28.500 --> 42:33.600 it's just like, hey, her older children, her younger children, even infants so much so, 42:33.600 --> 42:38.000 that she is going to eat them, and this is a curse. 42:38.000 --> 42:41.300 So we can't sit here and just blame... 42:41.500 --> 42:46.500 Something else, because the Bible is making it clear, this is God cursing the children of Israel. 42:46.500 --> 42:51.500 This is a curse upon a nation when you see this kind of thing happening, 42:51.500 --> 42:58.500 where women are killing and slaughtering their own children in such an extreme and grotesque way. 42:58.500 --> 43:00.500 And again, this is a horrific story. 43:00.500 --> 43:01.500 It says in verse 58, 43:01.500 --> 43:06.140 if thou wilt not observe, to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, 43:06.140 --> 43:09.340 that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, the Lord thy God. 43:09.500 --> 43:15.340 You should be afraid of God when you see women doing these horrific acts, 43:15.340 --> 43:20.700 because you just see how God is punishing and cursing a nation for doing likewise. 43:20.700 --> 43:27.100 And, you know, while, you know, America specifically is not the nation of Israel, 43:27.300 --> 43:33.300 America is not going through the exact same circumstances that the children of Israel are 43:33.300 --> 43:35.600 because we are not going through a siege. 43:35.600 --> 43:39.000 We're not going through extreme warfare and famine. 43:39.000 --> 43:45.800 But I feel like we can see through the text similar parallels where God is cursing America. 43:46.100 --> 43:51.680 and that there is a curse on America right now in this particular category, in this particular 43:51.680 --> 43:52.680 way. 43:52.680 --> 43:56.340 And, you know, that's kind of where I've gotten the title of my sermon this morning. 43:56.340 --> 44:01.820 And I'm linking it to a specific event, but it's not just only about this event. 44:01.820 --> 44:04.780 And so the title of my sermon this morning is The Curse of Lindsey Clancy. 44:05.500 --> 44:12.500 And here's the thing, why bring up that particular name or this particular court case that's recently happened? 44:12.500 --> 44:15.500 Well, here's the thing, it's kind of gathered national attention. 44:15.500 --> 44:19.500 I mean, who in here would say I have no idea who Lindsey Clancy is? 44:20.600 --> 44:22.600 Yeah, I mean, that's why I'm bringing it up, okay? 44:22.600 --> 44:24.900 Because virtually everyone has heard about this, 44:24.900 --> 44:27.000 and it's been a big deal. 44:27.000 --> 44:31.200 Social media is going crazy on this particular issue. 44:31.200 --> 44:33.700 This has been a major event. 44:33.700 --> 44:37.300 It almost seems like more attention on this 44:37.300 --> 44:41.100 than Charlie Kirk being killed or being, you know, assassinated. 44:41.100 --> 44:46.200 And I say that because just of how many people this is affecting. 44:46.600 --> 44:49.400 And again, Charlie Kirk, I feel like, affected the whole nation too. 44:49.400 --> 44:54.900 I can't even say that it didn't, but I've never seen so many people interested in something like this. 44:54.900 --> 45:04.500 And we've seen just kind of the grotesque state of our culture and our nation in response to this, by and large. 45:04.500 --> 45:11.300 You know, unfortunately, there was another woman on September 1st that killed one of her children, 45:11.300 --> 45:14.400 and it suggested that she may have even been a copycat. 45:14.800 --> 45:18.640 But let's say she wasn't a copycat killer, 45:18.640 --> 45:21.840 then it doesn't really matter because we're just still seeing 45:21.840 --> 45:24.640 women slaughtering their own children. 45:24.640 --> 45:26.440 And it's not making sense. 45:26.600 --> 45:34.900 In America in the last few years, around 2,000 children are being killed by their parents 45:34.900 --> 45:39.460 either purposefully or through extreme neglect. 45:39.460 --> 45:43.620 and in the categories when it's just the mom doing it. 45:44.100 --> 45:49.100 It's like 456, whereas if it's just the dad, it's 197, 45:50.500 --> 45:53.180 meaning that the mothers are two and a half times 45:53.180 --> 45:56.020 more likely to kill their own children 45:56.020 --> 45:58.380 by the statistics in America right now. 45:58.380 --> 46:00.660 And so this is a big issue, and it's not to say 46:00.660 --> 46:03.980 that it's not a women versus men issue. 46:03.980 --> 46:07.060 Obviously there's bad men just like there's bad women, 46:07.060 --> 46:08.660 but we're seeing just parents 46:08.660 --> 46:10.300 being turned against their children. 46:10.500 --> 46:15.460 When it was both parents, it's 322 slaughterings. 46:15.460 --> 46:21.780 So in a sense, there's a lot of just death and innocent blood. 46:21.780 --> 46:28.060 But 2000 pales in comparison to what is happening in America right now, which is still about 46:28.060 --> 46:30.660 one million abortions every year. 46:31.700 --> 46:42.100 And since Roe v Wade, which was I think in 1972, it's around that time, since that period of time, we've had 67 million abortions. 46:42.100 --> 46:49.700 That's a lot of blood. That's a lot of bloodshed that has been slaughtered in America. 46:49.700 --> 46:58.200 And in fact, you know, when I was looking at these specific statistics of parents slaughtering their children or women slaughtering their children. 46:58.700 --> 47:03.700 and you compare America to other developed countries in the world, 47:03.700 --> 47:10.500 America is nine times more likely for the parents to be slaughtering their children right now. 47:10.500 --> 47:14.100 So, you know, when I'm saying like, hey, this curse of Lindsey Klansey, 47:14.100 --> 47:19.800 I'm not just trying to take one particular event and one particular woman and say, 47:19.800 --> 47:22.300 hey, our country's bad because of one person. 47:22.300 --> 47:25.600 No, there's a lot of people that are responsible. 47:25.900 --> 47:32.900 And I don't even think God, if you read the Bible carefully, is mad at a nation for having a killer, or for having bad people. 47:32.900 --> 47:36.900 It's that the bad people are not dealt with properly, then God gets mad at. 47:36.900 --> 47:39.900 When there's innocent bloodshed, and then it's not... 47:40.400 --> 47:47.400 dealt with appropriately and there's not a justice that's been served, then God is going to hold that innocent blood, 47:47.400 --> 47:51.400 the guilt of that on that nation and on that group of people. 47:51.400 --> 47:57.400 And what we see in America right now is we see our country is being cursed because we're not dealing with these issues. 47:57.400 --> 48:01.400 We have 67 million abortions and there's been no justice served. 48:02.100 --> 48:05.460 There was three children slaughtered by Lindsay Clancy, 48:05.460 --> 48:08.500 and so far, there's been no justice served. 48:08.500 --> 48:11.380 She was recently in a court hearing 48:11.380 --> 48:13.620 where it's been declared a mistrial. 48:14.100 --> 48:18.900 Which, you know, again, I'm not a legal expert, I'm not going to pretend to be one. 48:18.900 --> 48:25.640 But based on the facts of the case, I think it's suggested that 11 of the 12 jurors were 48:25.640 --> 48:32.860 going to potentially declare her insane or something and say that she's not guilty of 48:32.860 --> 48:36.280 homicide and I don't know what the ramifications of that would be. 48:36.280 --> 48:42.040 But because of this, you know, the chances of her going down a new trial and being found 48:42.100 --> 48:46.500 guilty is pretty much just statistically impossible at this point. 48:46.600 --> 48:50.200 because if only one out of 12 people were going to convict her, 48:50.200 --> 48:54.680 the chances of you then statistically getting 12 people that would all agree to that 48:54.680 --> 48:58.120 and considering how much media attention this case has gotten, 48:58.120 --> 49:03.160 I mean the chances of not having just one jury or one juror hung up on this 49:03.160 --> 49:05.640 is just basically a statistical zero. 49:05.640 --> 49:10.120 And so by and large, you know, this is my projection, my belief, 49:10.120 --> 49:14.440 is they'll probably settle or they'll probably, you know, try to have some kind of a plea- 49:14.600 --> 49:18.980 bargain or something, who knows what's going to actually happen? I have no idea. But it 49:18.980 --> 49:22.740 does not appear that these three children that have been slaughtered are going to receive 49:22.740 --> 49:27.980 justice. And you know, that's a curse on our nation when people are slaughtering their 49:27.980 --> 49:34.780 children and there's no justice served, that people are not caring. You know, we're all 49:34.780 --> 49:40.480 the women in our country standing somewhere and saying, we want justice for these three 49:40.480 --> 49:40.980 children. 49:41.700 --> 49:43.200 We stand with these three children. 49:43.200 --> 49:45.900 I mean, what did an eight month old baby do 49:45.900 --> 49:47.440 that it deserves to be slaughtered? 49:47.440 --> 49:49.080 And let me explain something to you. 49:49.080 --> 49:52.240 We were all eight month old babies at one point, 49:52.240 --> 49:55.600 barring the few infants that are in this room, okay? 49:55.600 --> 49:57.760 I mean, we basically, all of us adults, 49:57.760 --> 49:59.280 we were eight months at some point. 49:59.280 --> 50:00.480 And let me explain something to you. 50:00.480 --> 50:01.480 When you were eight months old, 50:01.480 --> 50:02.960 you could not take care of yourself. 50:02.960 --> 50:04.360 You could not feed yourself. 50:04.360 --> 50:06.360 You could not change your own diapers. 50:06.600 --> 50:11.000 And you know what? You needed someone to take care of you and to provide for you. 50:11.000 --> 50:13.400 And you know what? God bless our parents. 50:13.400 --> 50:16.600 And God bless the parents that are taking care of their children. 50:16.600 --> 50:19.960 You know, this is something that should not be taken lightly. 50:19.960 --> 50:24.520 And the idea of parents turning against their own children is so unnatural. 50:25.080 --> 50:28.680 It's wicked. It's satanic. It's a curse from God. 50:30.100 --> 50:35.860 It's a curse on our nation that so many people are, quote, standing with a murderer. 50:35.860 --> 50:39.540 And again, I don't care what you think about the case. 50:39.540 --> 50:42.580 You know, your opinion of me doesn't matter. 50:42.580 --> 50:46.820 Because the facts of the case are that her defense attorney said she did it. 50:47.600 --> 50:51.000 She admitted that she did it to multiple people prior to the court hearing. 50:51.000 --> 50:53.600 And then from a premeditated perspective, 50:53.600 --> 50:58.000 she sent her husband away on purpose so that she could do this. 50:58.000 --> 51:00.400 That is not someone just going crazy. 51:00.400 --> 51:01.600 That is someone planning. 51:01.600 --> 51:03.000 That is someone scheming. 51:03.000 --> 51:06.600 That is someone knowing what they're doing on purpose. 51:06.600 --> 51:10.800 And so there's no way to get around whether it was premeditated or not. 51:11.000 --> 51:13.000 But let me explain my other position. 51:13.000 --> 51:16.000 If she was crazy, I still think you're guilty of murder. 51:17.000 --> 51:23.000 If you go crazy and you kill anybody that I know or love, I'm going to say put them to death too. 51:23.000 --> 51:27.000 You know, I mean, can you imagine someone came to your house and killed someone in your family? 51:27.000 --> 51:29.000 And they're like, yeah, but they were crazy. 51:30.300 --> 51:33.740 You'd be like, I don't care. Of course they're crazy. Like, they killed somebody. 51:33.740 --> 51:37.340 Like, why would I want to sit here and justify that? 51:37.340 --> 51:42.700 You know, we understand in America and we believe in America, there's a difference between an accident. 51:42.900 --> 51:44.740 and intentional slaughter. 51:44.740 --> 51:46.980 We understand that there's a crime of passion 51:46.980 --> 51:49.380 and that there's premeditated murder. 51:49.380 --> 51:52.020 And we have different classifications for these things. 51:52.020 --> 51:54.820 But at the end of the day, you know, to say someone's crazy 51:54.820 --> 51:57.700 so they shouldn't stand guilty of manslaughter even, 51:57.700 --> 52:01.060 or of homicide, is just backwards. 52:01.060 --> 52:03.620 It's not just, this is not what the Bible says. 52:03.620 --> 52:06.100 And show me one verse in the Bible. 52:06.800 --> 52:12.400 where someone is not held accountable for killing someone because they were crazy. 52:12.400 --> 52:15.800 Because of their mental state. 52:16.200 --> 52:21.520 And you don't think that God realized that women after they give birth are gonna be hormonal 52:21.520 --> 52:29.180 You don't think God realized that women were gonna have maybe the baby blues or our struggle with their hormone levels 52:29.360 --> 52:35.280 Becoming normal again that he wouldn't have just been like hey, I get it after having a kid. It's really hard 52:35.280 --> 52:36.700 So if you kill him no big deal 52:36.800 --> 52:38.080 Like, he didn't say that. 52:38.080 --> 52:39.400 He said it's so unnatural. 52:39.400 --> 52:41.800 It is a curse when they do such a thing. 52:41.800 --> 52:44.680 It's a curse for a woman that's tender and delicate 52:44.680 --> 52:46.560 to turn against her own children 52:46.560 --> 52:49.360 and to slaughter them in such a gruesome, evil, 52:49.360 --> 52:51.080 satanic way. 52:51.080 --> 52:53.840 You know, this is a curse on our nation. 52:53.840 --> 52:55.680 Go to Proverbs chapter 14 for a moment. 52:55.680 --> 52:57.400 Go to Proverbs chapter 14. 52:57.400 --> 52:59.920 And I want to look at some more verses on this. 52:59.920 --> 53:03.100 But, you know, in America, 53:03.300 --> 53:10.300 Unfortunately, you know, I'm not trying to pit the sexes against each other or say that women are, quote, worse than men, 53:10.300 --> 53:17.300 because I don't, you know, I don't believe that. But what I do believe is that women have a certain role in society, 53:17.300 --> 53:24.300 and when they usurp that position in society, you know, there's consequences. 53:24.700 --> 53:30.600 And then the Bible warns about there being a curse on a society when the women are in charge, 53:30.600 --> 53:37.500 when women are ruling over men, when women have just yielded all this power that they're not supposed to have. 53:37.500 --> 53:48.500 And in America, if you just look at voting only, women are 64% for abortion being legal, whereas men are 55%. 53:48.700 --> 53:55.780 So again, you know, you could argue that even if women were not allowed to vote in our country, 53:55.780 --> 54:01.620 abortion would still be legal potentially, because 55% of men are in support of it being legal in some cases. 54:01.620 --> 54:08.100 Okay, as far as identifying yourself as pro-choice, 61% of women identify as pro-choice, 54:08.100 --> 54:11.980 41% of men are identifying themselves as pro-choice. 54:12.200 --> 54:16.800 And I would assume most of those men, their wives told them that they were that way, alright? 54:18.000 --> 54:23.800 For voting Democrat, 53% of women vote for Democrat, 46% of men. 54:23.800 --> 54:30.300 Now here's the thing, when it comes to politics, like, it's not like voting Republican makes you good and voting Democrat makes you bad. 54:30.300 --> 54:34.700 Because let's just be honest, the Republican Party is of Satan too, okay? 54:35.100 --> 54:41.500 But here's the thing, on this specific issue that we're talking about and slaughtering children, 54:41.500 --> 54:45.660 the Democrats, by and large, are more in favor of that position. 54:45.660 --> 54:51.020 And that's often a reason why many people vote Democrat is because of this single issue. 54:51.020 --> 54:54.380 I've seen many videos and many people just openly declaring, like, 54:54.380 --> 55:00.060 the only reason I vote Democrat is because they're pro-choice or because of their stance on abortion specifically. 55:00.060 --> 55:02.140 And so that's the only reason I would bring that up. 55:02.140 --> 55:03.100 You know, as far as... 55:03.100 --> 55:08.600 other aspects of being a Democrat or other reasons to be a Democrat versus Republican or whatever. 55:08.600 --> 55:12.600 I don't really care, but for sake of our conversation this morning, 55:12.600 --> 55:18.100 there's a curse on our nation when so many people are just so bloodthirsty that they want to slaughter children. 55:18.100 --> 55:23.100 They want to kill children. And you know what? Why do you not care about babies being killed? 55:25.200 --> 55:30.080 I mean, as a parent, the idea of your children being killed is one of the worst nightmares 55:30.080 --> 55:31.760 you could possibly think of. 55:31.760 --> 55:35.400 You know, so think about other people's children and care a little bit. 55:35.400 --> 55:39.800 Care about the slaughtering that's happening in our country and realize that, hey, there's 55:39.800 --> 55:41.400 a curse on our nation. 55:41.400 --> 55:45.960 You know, before we can solve any issue, we have to just identify the problem. 55:45.960 --> 55:47.840 We have to realize there is a problem in America. 55:48.400 --> 55:52.080 There's a problem in our country. There's a problem in society. There's a problem in our culture. 55:52.080 --> 55:54.960 There's a problem where women are wanting to slaughter their children. 55:55.600 --> 55:59.360 Why they want that to be the law. Why they want to have these things happen. 56:00.080 --> 56:05.600 And not even necessarily just before the womb, even after the womb. And we see it in previous generations, previous examples.
