One of 29:02.600 --> 29:04.600 One of their assistant pastors, Brother David. 29:04.600 --> 29:10.880 Him and his wife actually came with us all week and were helping us take us to different parts of the city 29:11.440 --> 29:15.000 To Sol Wynn where they go kind of show us some of the activities that they do 29:15.000 --> 29:16.500 He'd Sol Wynn with us as well 29:16.500 --> 29:21.660 And one of the great unique opportunities that we were able to have that was really cool 29:21.840 --> 29:26.600 Was that they do what they call in Spanish Esquedita Biblica, which is like 29:27.280 --> 29:30.740 Basically, they go to a neighborhood where there's a park in the middle 29:31.100 --> 29:36.260 and they go and just give a bunch of flyers out to people and try to get as many kids and parents to the park as 29:36.780 --> 29:41.840 possible at a given time and then they'll have obviously stuff entertainment for the kids 29:42.180 --> 29:49.780 but they'll also have just preaching of the gospel and so pastor Reyes is actually able to just preach to I think it was 29:49.780 --> 29:55.360 90 kids and 64 parents so 154 people total at once there at the park and 29:56.100 --> 29:58.620 Afterwards we were able to also just kind of talk one-on-one 29:59.100 --> 30:02.980 of the parents and stuff, get them saved or make sure they got it. 30:02.980 --> 30:05.300 And they also take a baptistry with them. 30:05.300 --> 30:09.340 And so at the park, there were, I think, two people that got baptized. 30:09.340 --> 30:11.660 Pastor Ray was able to baptize them there. 30:11.660 --> 30:14.580 And so that was just a cool experience to see something a little different, a little 30:14.580 --> 30:20.160 unique that we don't necessarily see on every mission trip and a little different than maybe 30:20.160 --> 30:22.860 our style of soul winning usually. 30:22.860 --> 30:26.800 And another thing too that stood out to me is that 30:27.400 --> 30:31.960 In a lot of ways, Mexico City, Mexico is a lot more liberal than I realized. 30:32.500 --> 30:40.300 But I think it's had this polarizing effect to where people either are really not receptive or they're really receptive 30:40.540 --> 30:46.100 Because I really didn't have to overcome a lot of objections with people. I didn't have to overcome that. Now point one of the sermon is based on verse 10. 40:12.480 --> 40:14.480 The Bible says who can find a virtuous woman? 40:15.800 --> 40:23.080 Plainly, the text is indicating that virtuous women are rare and that is not a common occurrence, 40:23.080 --> 40:29.480 and yet there is a societal pressure to act as if all women are somehow virtuous and all 40:29.480 --> 40:33.220 women are good and kind-hearted and should be believed. 40:33.220 --> 40:38.280 There was a campaign several years ago, or a few years ago really, not that long, that 40:38.280 --> 40:40.080 was hashtag believe all women. 40:41.000 --> 40:47.600 In fact, there were several people in our government, Representative Carolyn Maloney, 40:47.600 --> 40:54.320 that said, quote, we stand with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Deborah Ramirez, and Julie Swetnick, 40:54.320 --> 40:58.160 hashtag believe all women. 40:58.160 --> 41:04.440 Republican Catherine Clark is funny, you know, a representative, sorry, she's a Democrat. 41:04.440 --> 41:08.080 of Catherine Clark, Democrat from Massachusetts said, quote, 41:08.300 --> 41:14.060 Democracy in action, hashtag we believe Christine, hashtag believe all women. 41:14.060 --> 41:21.180 Another senator, Democrat from Hawaii, Mazzie Hirano, said during the hearing, she said, 41:21.180 --> 41:29.420 quote, men need to just shut up and step up. Senator Kamala Harris said, quote, I believe you 41:29.420 --> 41:32.140 and I believe many Americans across this country believe you. 41:32.800 --> 41:38.480 Now, what's funny is that this has became kind of a national mantra for a lot of different 41:38.480 --> 41:44.200 people of this quote, just believe all women and that we should just trust all women and 41:44.200 --> 41:50.120 that women are good and by and large, whereas this is directly contrasted with the biblical 41:50.120 --> 41:53.440 narrative and the biblical text saying that virtuous women are rare. 41:54.000 --> 42:00.600 not that they're the norm, not that virtuous women are what we see as the common experience, 42:00.600 --> 42:08.300 but rather virtuous women are not common, are not normal, are very hard to find. 42:08.300 --> 42:10.600 I mean, the text is just saying, like, who can even find it? 42:10.600 --> 42:13.300 Like, where can we even find this example? 42:13.300 --> 42:17.200 And then you have all of these people in our politics and our government just saying, 42:17.200 --> 42:20.000 hashtag, believe all women, which is nonsense. 42:20.000 --> 42:21.900 And of course, you know... 42:22.000 --> 42:26.600 So these people love to have their cake and eat it too, because whenever Amber Heard and 42:26.600 --> 42:32.640 Johnny Depp went in this public hearing, then comedians like Chris Rock were saying, hashtag 42:32.640 --> 42:35.920 believe all women except Amber Heard. 42:35.920 --> 42:40.320 And so it's like, you know, it's always just to fit whatever narrative they have at the 42:40.320 --> 42:41.520 time. 42:41.520 --> 42:48.520 But it's a really silly idea to try to act as if women are more believable than men. 42:49.600 --> 42:54.800 You know, I mean, and again, I'm not going to sit here and say men are more trustworthy than women. 42:54.800 --> 42:58.880 I think that the Bible teaches that we should just have, you know, really kind of a skeptical 42:58.880 --> 43:04.320 view of humanity in general, and that specifically when it comes to women, the Bible does not teach 43:04.320 --> 43:08.960 that they're just more virtuous or better than men. The Bible does not teach that whatsoever. 43:08.960 --> 43:13.200 And so to then suggest hashtag believe all women, what is the implication? 43:13.200 --> 43:16.080 It's like women are more reliable in their testimony than men. 43:16.600 --> 43:23.960 This is not true and the Bible does not support such an idea and we should not be prejudice 43:23.960 --> 43:26.120 against men for women. 43:26.120 --> 43:27.500 That is not a biblical narrative. 43:27.500 --> 43:28.500 It's not what the Bible teaches. 43:28.500 --> 43:31.040 Go to Ecclesiastes chapter 7, Ecclesiastes chapter 7. 43:31.040 --> 43:34.620 Now I'm not trying to create attention to say the opposite. 43:34.620 --> 43:38.680 I'm not trying to say women can never be trusted and men should be trusted. 43:38.680 --> 43:40.520 We should be skeptical of both. 43:40.800 --> 43:44.000 But we should have a healthy level of skepticism in this world. 43:44.000 --> 43:47.400 And what I find is, you know, the Bible says the simple, believe with every word. 43:47.400 --> 43:53.600 We need to have a healthy skepticism in life and not be trusting by and large. 43:53.600 --> 43:56.400 We should be skeptical of this world because this world is wicked. 43:56.400 --> 44:00.200 This world is very sinful. Our culture is very sinful and very wicked. 44:00.200 --> 44:03.800 And so we need to make sure that we're careful in who we're trusting, 44:03.800 --> 44:05.600 careful in who we're listening to. 44:05.600 --> 44:08.800 And the Bible has a lot of warnings about certain kinds of women. 44:08.800 --> 44:11.600 Of course, there are virtuous women in this world. 44:11.600 --> 44:15.760 I'm not saying that the virtuous women don't exist, but in the biblical text of Proverbs 44:15.760 --> 44:19.200 31, the Bible says that her husband does safely trust in her. 44:19.200 --> 44:20.200 Isn't it interesting? 44:20.200 --> 44:21.660 She's married. 44:21.660 --> 44:28.400 And she's married, and specifically according to the text, she's in submission to her husband. 44:28.400 --> 44:32.040 And really, that is the biblical models, that women should just submit to their husband, 44:32.040 --> 44:34.000 and we should have men leading women in general. 44:34.400 --> 44:38.000 Okay, and you know, why should we not just believe all women? 44:38.000 --> 44:40.300 Well, number one, because it's just super rare. 44:40.300 --> 44:43.800 And here's another biblical text to prove, you know, some of these points. 44:43.800 --> 44:48.400 Look at verse number 26, and I find more bitter than death the woman. 44:48.400 --> 44:53.800 Now, this is where some men hate, or women hating men will stop the verse. 44:53.800 --> 44:57.000 Okay, it's not saying all women are bad. 44:57.000 --> 44:57.600 All right. 44:58.100 --> 45:01.300 It kind of sounds like it though, but it's not saying that. 45:01.300 --> 45:05.140 It says, whose heart is snares and nets and her hands as bands, 45:05.140 --> 45:09.860 who please of God shall escape from her, but the sinner shall be taken by her. 45:10.500 --> 45:15.460 I believe in context and comparing with other proverbial texts. 45:15.460 --> 45:17.940 This is talking about a very, uh, 45:18.400 --> 45:24.240 A woman that's laden with sins in a bedroom sense or in a fornication sense. 45:24.240 --> 45:25.800 So a woman that's permissive. 45:25.800 --> 45:31.180 A woman that's very loose is this type of woman that the Bible really warns about and 45:31.180 --> 45:37.400 how she's a snare and how she's a trap and she will not actually give you her heart even 45:37.400 --> 45:41.080 though she may flatter you and pretend like she wants to give you her heart. 45:41.080 --> 45:45.440 And the Bible is saying that the person that pleases God is going to escape her. 45:45.440 --> 45:46.400 How does that work? 45:46.400 --> 45:53.400 I don't think that this is really trying to say that you're just going to magically not find the wrong woman. 45:53.400 --> 46:02.400 I think it's by studying the Bible as a young man and paying attention to the signs of a permissive woman versus a godly woman, 46:02.400 --> 46:06.400 you can avoid this type of woman through going through biblical directives, biblical principles. 46:06.400 --> 46:12.400 That's how you escape it. I don't think that it's just, you know, you're going to go for this woman and God's going to intervene magically. 46:12.400 --> 46:14.400 I think it's the Bible saying you follow 46:14.400 --> 46:17.180 biblical principles, you'll avoid this type of woman. 46:17.180 --> 46:22.120 You don't follow biblical principles, you'll end up getting taken away with the flattery, 46:22.120 --> 46:25.620 with the deceit, with just this bad stuff. 46:25.620 --> 46:31.940 And notice that the Bible almost is indicating that bad men, bad men are punished with a 46:31.940 --> 46:32.940 bad woman. 46:32.940 --> 46:34.860 I mean, isn't that what the Bible is saying here? 46:35.200 --> 46:39.120 It says, who so pleaseth God shall escape from her, 46:39.120 --> 46:42.400 but the sinner shall be taken by her. 46:42.400 --> 46:45.840 It's almost saying like a bad guy will end up having 46:45.840 --> 46:48.600 this just like horrific wife potentially, 46:48.600 --> 46:51.360 or a girlfriend or toxic relationship 46:51.360 --> 46:52.640 because he's a bad person. 46:52.640 --> 46:54.120 You know, it's like we can sit here 46:54.120 --> 46:56.160 and feel bad for quote Johnny Depp, 46:56.160 --> 46:57.720 but it's like was Johnny Depp looking 46:57.720 --> 46:59.520 for the right woman with Amber Heard? 47:00.700 --> 47:03.740 You know, it's like, oh, we can feel bad for Elon Musk, 47:03.740 --> 47:06.220 but is he really looking for the right woman 47:06.220 --> 47:08.780 when he gets entrapped with this, like, Jewish woman 47:08.780 --> 47:12.460 who, you know, ensnares him and gets pregnant by him 47:12.460 --> 47:14.780 and is, like, trying to sue him for all this money 47:14.780 --> 47:16.780 and just, like, some kind of an influencer? 47:16.780 --> 47:19.820 It's like, obviously, he was finding the wrong women 47:19.820 --> 47:20.860 in the wrong place. 47:22.000 --> 47:24.500 And the Bible is saying like God's gonna punish people 47:24.500 --> 47:27.300 when they're looking for the wrong woman in the wrong place 47:27.300 --> 47:30.400 because it's rare to find the good woman. 47:30.400 --> 47:31.200 Okay. 47:31.200 --> 47:35.000 And again, this is a bad person to be caught by. 47:35.000 --> 47:36.000 It says in verse 27, 47:36.000 --> 47:39.300 Behold, this have I found, say the preacher, counting one by one, 47:39.300 --> 47:41.000 to find out the account, 47:41.000 --> 47:43.600 which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not. 47:43.600 --> 47:45.900 One man among a thousand have I found, 47:45.900 --> 47:49.300 but a woman among all those have I not found. 47:49.900 --> 47:54.900 lo, this only have I found that God hath made man upright, but they have sought out many 47:54.900 --> 47:55.900 inventions." 47:55.900 --> 47:58.660 So, let's unpack this passage for a moment. 47:58.660 --> 48:00.860 This is a very important package here. 48:00.860 --> 48:07.500 Number one, in verse 29, God is saying that He did not make men bad or women bad or anybody 48:07.500 --> 48:08.780 bad. 48:08.780 --> 48:09.860 made man upright. 48:10.700 --> 48:14.200 So you can't say like, oh, well, God just made women bad. 48:14.200 --> 48:18.140 False. God made women upright. God made man upright. 48:18.140 --> 48:21.300 God made everybody to be good and to do right. 48:21.500 --> 48:25.340 And we all have the capability and the opportunity to do right. 48:25.640 --> 48:31.240 But because of sinful natures that we have, we end up choosing selfish things 48:31.240 --> 48:33.440 and sinful things. That's what it's saying. 48:33.440 --> 48:36.040 They sought out many inventions. We're going after evil. 48:36.040 --> 48:37.900 We're coming up with bad ideas. 48:37.900 --> 48:38.700 You know, we can't blow. 48:38.700 --> 48:43.900 all the evils of this world on God because God made man upright but man 48:43.900 --> 48:48.460 ended up coming up with bad ideas and venting all kinds of evils and doing 48:48.460 --> 48:53.820 wrong. Okay so God gives us all the opportunity to do right. We of our own 48:53.820 --> 49:00.260 selfish ambition and nature have sought out wicked devices but we also want to 49:00.260 --> 49:06.100 at least consider what the guy is saying here. He's saying he like did this audit. 49:06.300 --> 49:08.140 He did this like human audit. 49:08.140 --> 49:11.300 He's like an anthropologist studying humanity 49:11.300 --> 49:13.180 and trying to understand the gender 49:13.180 --> 49:15.100 and trying to understand men and women. 49:15.100 --> 49:17.020 And he's like, I decided to get, you know, 49:17.020 --> 49:21.260 my Excel spreadsheet out and I'm listing names 49:21.260 --> 49:25.060 and I'm putting in data and stats and I'm charting. 49:25.060 --> 49:26.020 Cause I mean, think what he's saying. 49:26.020 --> 49:28.980 He's like, I was counting one by one. 49:29.200 --> 49:34.720 to find out the account. This is an accountant. So he's like, here's the name and here's the name 49:34.720 --> 49:40.160 and here's this person. I'm counting them one by one. So that's diligent. And he's like, 49:40.160 --> 49:44.960 I couldn't find a virtuous woman is what he's saying out of a thousand. 49:45.900 --> 49:53.500 So it's like, all right, here's the list of every single person in our district, our area, our kingdom, or whatever. 49:53.500 --> 49:57.740 And he's just like, he's just got thousands, imagine he's just had thousands of names, 49:57.740 --> 50:00.540 just thousands and thousands of names of people. 50:00.540 --> 50:05.580 And he's just like, all right, we have, and again, just for sake of argument, we'll throw some numbers, 50:05.580 --> 50:10.940 he's like, I have 100,000 men. And he's like, here's the guys that I think are virtuous. 50:10.940 --> 50:13.260 And he's like, it's about a thousand to one ratio. 50:13.700 --> 50:19.420 Like he's like he plugged it in and he put it in the calculator and it's like 0.1% of 50:19.420 --> 50:24.160 the men and he's like on the women category it was less. 50:24.160 --> 50:26.100 And it's not saying that doesn't exist. 50:26.100 --> 50:28.620 He's just saying even one out of a thousand. 50:28.620 --> 50:31.740 Now again I'm not saying that this is reflective of today. 50:31.740 --> 50:32.880 I don't even know. 50:32.880 --> 50:35.260 But he is putting an actual number to it. 50:35.260 --> 50:40.960 He is saying statistically he can't even find one out of a thousand women that are virtuous. 50:41.400 --> 50:45.640 is what he's saying. That would be an upright woman seeking the Lord. 50:45.640 --> 50:49.480 And again, what would be the accusation? 50:49.480 --> 50:53.400 Think about it. If he said, I've studied, I've done the measurements, 50:53.400 --> 50:58.280 I've calculated, I did a huge sample, and statistically not even one out of a 50:58.280 --> 51:01.560 thousand women is a virtuous woman, then what would be the implication? Well, God, 51:01.560 --> 51:03.160 why did you make women so bad? 51:03.500 --> 51:05.700 But then he clarifies and says, no, no, no, no, no. 51:05.700 --> 51:07.500 God made them upright. 51:07.500 --> 51:09.600 God gave them the opportunity to do right. 51:09.600 --> 51:11.700 God didn't do anything wrong here. 51:11.700 --> 51:13.700 They sought out many inventions. 51:13.900 --> 51:15.500 God made them perfect. 51:15.600 --> 51:18.700 You know, in the in the garden, God made the male and female. 51:18.800 --> 51:21.100 And he said everything he created was very good. 51:21.400 --> 51:23.800 Yet the woman was deceived. 51:23.800 --> 51:26.700 The woman went after the advice of the serpent. 51:26.800 --> 51:28.500 She took of that forbidden fruit. 51:28.500 --> 51:31.300 She did that of her own volition of her own accord. 51:31.600 --> 51:35.500 And so it what is the Bible painting this picture though? 51:35.800 --> 51:40.600 Why would I say hashtag believe all women when one out of a thousand isn't even virtuous? 51:41.100 --> 51:44.100 I mean, you can't even find one out of a thousand statistically. 51:44.100 --> 51:52.100 And again, you know, these numbers don't necessarily seem to be that off from what we even see in the world today. 51:52.200 --> 51:56.920 And sorry to like wake you up to reality, but that is what the biblical text is saying. 51:56.920 --> 52:01.880 And we see even similar parallels in our society today. 52:01.880 --> 52:06.820 And so we should be very careful when we have these ideas of just quote, believe all people 52:06.820 --> 52:11.220 when the Bible saying, man, it's statistically a train wreck. 52:11.220 --> 52:15.440 Now I want to go to Ephesians chapter five, good Ephesians, chapter number five. 52:15.440 --> 52:18.440 So then if women are... 52:19.000 --> 52:24.000 you know by and large not that virtuous and and having this particular 52:24.000 --> 52:29.000 statement being made about them what should women do then 52:29.000 --> 52:34.000 I mean this is going to affect most people it's like you know they should do they should get married and submit to their husband 52:34.000 --> 52:38.000 that's what they should do Ephesians chapter 5 52:38.000 --> 52:41.000 look at verse number 22 wives 52:41.700 --> 52:45.300 submitting yourselves unto your own husbands as unto the Lord, 52:45.300 --> 52:47.000 for the husband is the head of the wife, 52:47.000 --> 52:50.400 even as Christ is the head of the church, and he is the Savior of the body. 52:50.400 --> 52:53.600 Therefore, as the church is subject unto Christ, 52:53.600 --> 52:57.100 so let the wise be to their own husbands in everything." 52:57.100 --> 53:00.100 You know, the Bible says from a biblical default, 53:00.100 --> 53:03.600 women are just as to submit and do whatever their husband says, 53:03.600 --> 53:06.500 not believe all women, what it should be. 53:06.500 --> 53:08.300 Women should submit to their husband. 53:08.700 --> 53:10.700 That's the biblical model. 53:10.700 --> 53:13.200 That's how we should actually view society. 53:13.200 --> 53:17.700 Look at 1 Timothy chapter 2, and we'll probably come back to this for a different point as well. 53:17.700 --> 53:21.700 But there's no harm in repeating myself this morning. 53:21.700 --> 53:23.700 For you, it is safe, alright? 53:23.700 --> 53:27.200 We don't want to turn into Mexico. Did you hear the testimony about Mexico? 53:27.200 --> 53:28.200 Man! 53:29.500 --> 53:32.000 1st Timothy chapter 2, look at verse 11, 53:32.000 --> 53:37.200 let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 53:37.600 --> 53:41.200 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor you serve authority over the man, but to be in silence. 53:41.200 --> 53:50.600 For Adam was first formed, then Eve, and Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." 53:50.600 --> 53:56.100 The Bible is saying the woman transgressed through deception. She was deceived and she transgressed. 53:56.100 --> 54:01.600 And so, what is the point though, what is the bigger point that's being made? 54:01.600 --> 54:05.600 Number one in verse 11, a subjection re-emphasizes 54:05.600 --> 54:09.800 verse number 12, that she's not to usurp authority. 54:09.800 --> 54:11.940 That's what subjection means. 54:11.940 --> 54:14.040 And then the Bible says why? 54:14.040 --> 54:17.160 Why is it that a woman would not be in charge? 54:17.160 --> 54:20.060 Why is it that a woman should not usurp authority? 54:20.060 --> 54:23.260 Why is it that the biblical order is that a man and then a woman? 54:23.260 --> 54:28.160 And then it gives a specific reason, verse 13, because she was formed second. 54:28.160 --> 54:32.000 And then another reason is because she was deceived and Adam was not. 54:32.200 --> 54:35.800 Okay, that's what the Bible clearly says. 54:35.800 --> 54:40.680 And again, of course, in this sermon, I'm pointing out that number one, the Bible teaches 54:40.680 --> 54:44.240 that it's rare to find a virtuous woman. 54:44.240 --> 54:48.920 It's rare to find this woman and so therefore women should submit to their husbands. 54:48.920 --> 54:49.920 That is what the Bible teaches. 54:49.920 --> 54:52.000 We'll be back to Proverbs, Proverbs chapter 5. 54:54.200 --> 55:03.400 And we need to make sure that we understand that God is giving us instructions that permeate all timelines. 55:03.400 --> 55:08.900 This isn't like, oh, this used to be a problem back then or culturally this we have to understand this. 55:08.900 --> 55:12.700 No, culturally, men and women have been the same. 55:12.700 --> 55:16.700 And he's talking to young Timothy. Think about the timeline here. 55:16.700 --> 55:18.300 He's talking to young Timothy. 55:19.000 --> 55:23.160 in a first century context, and he's bringing up Adam and Eve, 55:23.160 --> 55:26.680 that's pretty far removed. That's a pretty different civilization. 55:26.680 --> 55:29.960 And he's saying, hey, because of what happened in the garden, this is how y'all are supposed 55:29.960 --> 55:33.400 to behave yourself now. Then why would I think that whatever the Bible's teaching in the first 55:33.400 --> 55:38.120 century wouldn't apply now? I mean, there's going to be, there's probably more parallel 55:38.120 --> 55:41.960 to our society in first century than the first century in the garden. 55:42.500 --> 55:49.300 Okay, the garden doesn't have civilization and towns and all this other stuff. It's just a dude and his wife and in the garden 55:49.300 --> 55:54.580 Okay, like that's a pretty different culture. That's a pretty different environment 55:54.980 --> 55:58.420 Okay, but then he's saying just like it was then you need to do it now 55:58.500 --> 56:01.840 So then I would also agree that first century applies to today 56:02.300 --> 56:07.300 Why there's no new thing under the sun, everything's the same, and it's the same circumstances, 56:07.300 --> 56:09.580 same life situations. 56:09.580 --> 56:13.780 That's why jokes can be funny to a broad audience about marriage because we all go through the 56:13.780 --> 56:14.780 same stuff. 56:14.780 --> 56:17.820 People that make marriage jokes, everybody's laughing because we all kind of go through 56:17.820 --> 56:20.740 the same things, the same cycles, the same events. 56:20.740 --> 56:23.260 There's no new thing under the sun. 56:23.260 --> 56:28.220 It's not like, oh well, you know, I got, my wife is different than other wives. 56:28.220 --> 56:28.820 Not really. 56:30.000 --> 56:34.700 By and large, they all kind of have the same shared experiences, the same things. 56:34.700 --> 56:38.300 You're going to experience relatively similar events. 56:38.300 --> 56:42.900 Now, my second point of why we wouldn't want to believe all women, and this is really kind 56:42.900 --> 56:47.000 of aimed towards young men, is that the Bible warns that there are certain women that are 56:47.000 --> 56:52.800 very permissive and they don't take virginity seriously. 56:53.200 --> 56:56.200 And these are very dangerous women in the Bible. 56:56.200 --> 56:57.200 Okay. 56:57.200 --> 57:01.700 And it's not only that you get entrapped in fornication and the constants of fornication. 57:01.700 --> 57:07.200 It's that when they're loose in this area of their morals, they're loose in all morals. 57:07.700 --> 57:10.300 The same woman that will commit this kind of sin 57:10.300 --> 57:13.500 is the same kind of woman that will lie and steal 57:13.500 --> 57:17.900 and commit murder and just all kinds of horrific traps 57:17.900 --> 57:20.600 that also are conjoined in this particular area. 57:20.600 --> 57:23.400 So that's why you want to stay far away from this kind of woman. 57:23.400 --> 57:25.400 Look at Proverbs chapter 5 verse 3, 57:25.400 --> 57:28.100 For the lips of a strange woman drop as in honeycomb, 57:28.100 --> 57:30.200 and her mouth is smoother than oil. 57:30.700 --> 57:35.300 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. 57:35.300 --> 57:37.300 Her feet go down to death. 57:37.300 --> 57:39.200 Her steps take hold on hell. 57:39.200 --> 57:46.800 So according to the Bible, there's a danger associated with a permissive woman or a promiscuous woman. 57:46.800 --> 57:49.000 Look at chapter 7, verse 21. 57:49.700 --> 57:52.020 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield. 57:52.020 --> 57:54.500 With the flattering of her lips she forced him. 57:54.500 --> 57:57.460 He goeth after her straightway as an ox goeth to the slaughter, 57:57.460 --> 57:59.780 or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, 57:59.780 --> 58:03.460 till a dart striked through his liver as a bird hasted to the snare, 58:03.460 --> 58:06.020 and knoweth not that it is for his life. 58:06.500 --> 58:11.720 Notice again the Bible is painting this picture of like you go and lie with this permissive, 58:11.720 --> 58:13.900 promiscuous woman and you die. 58:13.900 --> 58:19.740 Like there's death associated with this type of woman and this is a reality. 58:19.740 --> 58:22.960 This is why you want to stay far away from these type of women. 58:22.960 --> 58:25.980 It says, till a dart strike through his liver and as a bird hastes the snare and knoweth 58:25.980 --> 58:27.340 not that it is for his life. 58:27.700 --> 58:33.540 Notice again, it's like, oh, bird thinks that this little food in this cage is going to be nice. 58:33.540 --> 58:36.580 He eats the food. It's not that the food's bad. In fact, the food's probably great. 58:37.300 --> 58:42.980 I mean, my dad has set up a lot of traps in time past, especially when he catch squirrels, you know, 58:42.980 --> 58:48.660 not necessarily birds, but squirrels. And he would take like acorns and stuff, and they love acorns. 58:48.660 --> 58:54.260 And he'd like slather it in peanut butter and stuff.
