It's always fun to do 26:09.800 --> 26:15.080 that. But we're there in Revelation chapter 20. We'll look down at verse number four. The Bible 26:15.080 --> 26:16.600 reads, and I saw throne. 26:16.600 --> 26:20.040 and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them. 26:20.040 --> 26:23.000 And I saw the souls of them that were beheaded 26:23.000 --> 26:25.160 for the witness of Jesus and for the word of God, 26:25.160 --> 26:28.200 and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, 26:28.200 --> 26:30.680 neither had received his mark upon their foreheads 26:30.680 --> 26:31.960 or in their hands. 26:31.960 --> 26:35.240 And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years, 26:35.240 --> 26:38.120 but the rest of the dead lived not again 26:38.120 --> 26:40.760 until the thousand years were finished. 26:40.760 --> 26:43.960 This is the first resurrection. 26:43.960 --> 26:44.600 So in Revel... 26:44.600 --> 26:49.600 In Revelation 20 we learn that there are certain Christians who were beheaded. 26:49.600 --> 26:52.600 They did not worship the beast nor his image. 26:52.600 --> 26:58.600 And I would actually use this as a proof text to show that those who reject the mark of the beast in the future 26:58.600 --> 27:03.600 will be decapitated for it because that's what it says. 27:03.600 --> 27:10.600 And we also see that there's a connection between refusing to worship the beast and being executed. 27:10.600 --> 27:12.600 The first resurrection though is what 27:12.600 --> 27:21.520 what is used to describe this group of people here that we have in Revelation chapter 20 27:21.520 --> 27:22.520 and verse 4. 27:22.520 --> 27:28.320 They are described there at the end of verse 5 as the first resurrection. 27:28.320 --> 27:33.760 These are revived Christians and directly before the Lord Jesus Christ sets up his kingdom, 27:33.760 --> 27:36.360 they're highlighted here in this passage. 27:36.360 --> 27:37.900 Let's look at verse number six. 27:38.100 --> 27:43.460 The Bible reads, blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. 27:43.700 --> 27:47.440 On such the second death has no power." 27:47.440 --> 27:50.440 So this tells us that we're dealing with saved people. 27:50.440 --> 27:52.840 But they shall be priests of God and of Christ 27:52.840 --> 27:55.540 and shall reign with him a thousand years. 27:55.540 --> 27:58.620 Now what you have to understand about this group 27:58.620 --> 28:00.980 that we're talking about is it's not just people 28:00.980 --> 28:04.280 who were alive during the tribulation period. 28:04.280 --> 28:07.620 This would be every believer who's ever existed. 28:07.620 --> 28:11.620 Now, of course, a subset of that group, of course, 28:11.700 --> 28:14.940 was alive during the tribulation period. 28:14.940 --> 28:17.680 And so they were faced with the Mark of the Beast 28:17.680 --> 28:21.460 and the Antichrist and the Christian persecution 28:21.460 --> 28:25.840 that comes along with that time period in the end times. 28:25.840 --> 28:26.400 But. 28:26.400 --> 28:29.400 When it comes to this passage, 28:29.400 --> 28:32.700 we have them referred to as the first resurrection. 28:32.700 --> 28:34.900 Of course, the question would then be, 28:34.900 --> 28:37.200 well, when does this occur? 28:37.200 --> 28:38.400 And this does happen. 28:38.400 --> 28:42.300 This resurrection happens at the rapture. 28:42.300 --> 28:44.100 They go to heaven. 28:44.300 --> 28:46.500 Once the rapture occurs, 28:46.500 --> 28:49.500 it'll be those who are dead in Christ who rise first, 28:49.500 --> 28:52.380 those who are alive and remain 28:52.380 --> 28:54.880 are caught up with the Lord in the air, 28:54.880 --> 28:56.780 and they go to heaven. 28:56.780 --> 28:59.340 Not temple zero, but heaven. 28:59.340 --> 29:02.180 All right, that's where you go after you get raptured. 29:02.180 --> 29:03.580 But then what happens... 29:04.000 --> 29:09.760 three and a half years later is that we as believers will actually come back with Christ 29:09.760 --> 29:15.860 for the battle of Armageddon in which he does all the work. He slays all the bad guys, the 29:15.860 --> 29:23.280 Antichrist and his armies, and then he sets up his kingdom, the Lord Jesus Christ's kingdom 29:23.280 --> 29:27.680 for what is known as the millennial reign of Christ. It's a thousand year period. 29:28.000 --> 29:33.120 in which Jesus will be ruling and reigning on this earth literally. 29:33.120 --> 29:37.280 So our church, you know, Anchor Baptist Church, your pastor believes this, 29:37.280 --> 29:38.840 that there's going to be a literal time 29:38.840 --> 29:44.580 in which Jesus rules over this earth. The church I'm coming from, Steadfast Baptist Church, 29:44.580 --> 29:46.580 also would subscribe to that. 29:47.500 --> 29:50.940 And of course what happens afterward is the devil is loosed for a little season. 29:50.940 --> 29:55.500 We're not exactly sure how long that is and he tries to deceive the nations. 29:55.500 --> 30:00.860 They come against Jesus for the battle of Gog and Magog. 30:00.860 --> 30:04.460 And then you have the new heaven and new earth etc. So that's kind of the timeline. 30:05.000 --> 30:08.400 in a nutshell, but this first resurrection 30:08.400 --> 30:10.700 that we're talking about, it took place 30:10.700 --> 30:14.500 three and a half years before Revelation chapter 20 30:14.500 --> 30:16.500 at the sixth seal. 30:16.500 --> 30:18.900 When that sixth seal is opened, 30:18.900 --> 30:20.900 that's when the rapture occurs, 30:20.900 --> 30:23.400 that's when the sun and moon are darkened, 30:23.400 --> 30:26.600 that's when Jesus returns for the second coming, 30:26.600 --> 30:29.700 and at that event, every believer 30:29.700 --> 30:33.000 who's ever existed will rise again. 30:33.000 --> 30:36.460 from the dead. And the title of my sermon is 30:36.460 --> 30:40.740 the first resurrection, the first resurrection. 30:40.740 --> 30:44.100 Often when it comes to this event, rightfully so, 30:44.100 --> 30:47.780 we focus on the return of Christ, which 30:47.780 --> 30:51.740 we should, right? That's a monumental event. It's something we're all 30:51.740 --> 30:53.600 looking forward to. 30:54.100 --> 30:57.600 But for this sermon, I want to go in a slightly different direction 30:57.600 --> 31:01.680 and focus on our physical resurrection from the dead, 31:01.680 --> 31:05.580 because this is a promise that the scripture makes to us, 31:05.580 --> 31:08.580 that we will one day rise again. 31:08.580 --> 31:10.420 Now, what does the word resurrection mean? 31:10.420 --> 31:12.920 We're talking about coming back from the dead 31:12.920 --> 31:15.260 to resurrect, to stand up. 31:15.260 --> 31:19.120 Our bodies, when we die, will go down into the ground. 31:19.120 --> 31:19.800 2 31:19.820 --> 31:19.800 3 31:20.420 --> 31:19.800 In this case, I'm going to 31:20.960 --> 31:19.800 say that I'm just going to 31:21.360 --> 31:19.800 make the most of the time I 31:21.720 --> 31:19.800 have to 31:20.100 --> 31:23.100 We will end up in heaven at that moment. 31:23.100 --> 31:26.500 To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, 31:26.500 --> 31:27.500 the Bible teaches. 31:27.500 --> 31:30.200 So the moment you die as a believer, 31:30.200 --> 31:32.700 you'll go to heaven and you'll be present there with God, 31:32.700 --> 31:36.000 but your body physically will remain on this earth. 31:36.000 --> 31:41.000 At the rapture, your body will literally come back from the dead. 31:41.100 --> 31:45.700 and you will receive what we refer to as a glorified body. 31:45.700 --> 31:49.700 Your body will be in a glorified state, never to die again. 31:49.700 --> 31:52.500 At that point, you meet Christ in the air, 31:52.500 --> 31:55.200 you go back into heaven for three and a half years, 31:55.200 --> 31:58.200 you come back down for the battle of Armageddon, 31:58.200 --> 32:04.100 Jesus sets up his kingdom, and the rest is history, as they say. 32:04.100 --> 32:05.500 I don't know if I used that right, but anyway, 32:05.500 --> 32:07.700 let's go to 1 Corinthians chapter 15. 32:08.200 --> 32:10.600 for a moment, 1 Corinthians chapter 15. 32:10.600 --> 32:12.800 Just by way of introduction, 32:12.800 --> 32:15.140 I wanna show you that this is a biblical doctrine. 32:15.140 --> 32:17.860 I'm not up here just making stuff up. 32:17.860 --> 32:22.160 Everything that I'm saying is derived from scripture, 32:22.160 --> 32:26.840 that we will rise again, physically from the dead. 32:26.840 --> 32:28.120 It's going to happen. 32:28.120 --> 32:31.880 This is a promise that the Bible makes to us. 32:31.880 --> 32:35.600 And because of that, there's actually certain 32:35.800 --> 32:37.400 applications we can make. 32:37.400 --> 32:41.440 Now, let's look at 1 Corinthians 15 and verse 17. 32:41.440 --> 32:44.680 1 Corinthians 15 and verse 17. 32:44.680 --> 32:47.280 The Bible says that if Christ be not raised, 32:47.280 --> 32:49.920 your faith is in vain, ye are yet in your sin. 32:49.920 --> 32:53.280 So Paul is combating the denial of the resurrection 32:53.280 --> 32:56.760 as a concept and specifically talking here about Jesus, 32:56.760 --> 33:00.520 saying if Jesus did not rise again from the dead, 33:00.520 --> 33:02.360 your faith is in vain. 33:02.360 --> 33:03.800 That shows you just how important 33:03.800 --> 33:09.240 important the resurrection is as a concept that yes, Jesus, of course, the resurrection 33:09.240 --> 33:16.120 of Christ, if he had not done that, our faith would be in vain. This is why when we go soul 33:16.120 --> 33:21.560 winning, we need to make sure we preach the resurrection. Okay, we need to talk about 33:21.560 --> 33:26.480 the death. We need to make sure that we preach the death, the burial, and the resurrection 33:26.480 --> 33:28.360 of Christ. That's the gospel. 33:29.900 --> 33:32.600 And it says so earlier in the passage, 33:32.600 --> 33:34.600 but let's look at verse 18. 33:34.600 --> 33:38.800 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 33:38.800 --> 33:43.700 Meaning that, hey, if Christ did not come back from the dead, 33:43.700 --> 33:45.000 your faith is in vain. 33:45.000 --> 33:47.700 And additionally, those who are asleep in Christ, 33:47.700 --> 33:52.100 those who are saved and have died are perished, 33:52.100 --> 33:54.200 they will not come back again. 33:54.200 --> 33:56.400 See, it's Christ's resurrection that... 33:56.700 --> 34:02.060 I would say, and I believe the scripture teaches this, enables our own. 34:02.060 --> 34:08.060 Your faith would be meaningless in a sense if there is no resurrection as a concept. 34:08.060 --> 34:12.860 We see in the Bible frequently that saved Christians who die 34:12.860 --> 34:16.780 are referred to as having fallen asleep. 34:16.780 --> 34:20.540 Why is this? Because they're going to be awakened one day. 34:20.540 --> 34:22.200 Because we're going to be 34:22.400 --> 34:25.900 resurrected from the dead. 34:25.900 --> 34:29.640 And that is that first resurrection 34:29.640 --> 34:32.440 that we read about in Revelation chapter 20. 34:32.440 --> 34:35.280 Let's look at verse 20 in 1 Corinthians 15, 34:35.280 --> 34:38.920 where I had you turn, 1 Corinthians 15 and verse 20. 34:38.920 --> 34:40.820 But now is Christ risen from the dead 34:40.820 --> 34:44.760 and become the first fruits of them that slept. 34:44.760 --> 34:48.560 So Jesus is the first fruits of sleeping Christians. 34:48.560 --> 34:48.900 by not using it and not using it in the first place. 34:50.100 --> 34:57.860 This is an agricultural metaphor the first portion of the harvest the first fruits and in Leviticus 23 34:57.860 --> 34:59.560 I'm not going to go there for sake of time 34:59.560 --> 35:05.100 there is the feast of the first fruits that the children of Israel were expected to keep and 35:05.760 --> 35:12.740 That is a symbol of the resurrection of Jesus if Christ himself is the first fruits as 35:12.860 --> 35:18.020 The scripture is saying here then the feast of the first fruits would be pointing us to 35:18.100 --> 35:21.640 to Christ's resurrection. 35:21.640 --> 35:26.840 And Jesus is the first fruits of them that slept us. 35:26.840 --> 35:28.540 That would be us. 35:28.540 --> 35:31.440 The first fruits are sort of like an assurance 35:31.440 --> 35:33.580 that the rest of the harvest will follow. 35:33.580 --> 35:37.020 And it's Christ's resurrection that acts as an assurance 35:37.020 --> 35:40.760 that we're going to be resurrected one day. 35:40.760 --> 35:43.900 So you have the first fruits, okay, which is Jesus Christ. 35:44.300 --> 35:48.140 Then you have the first resurrection. 35:48.140 --> 35:52.540 So this would be the order of the resurrection. 35:52.540 --> 35:56.940 Christ the first fruits, then the first resurrection. 35:56.940 --> 36:00.980 Every believer who has ever been saved, 36:00.980 --> 36:03.720 placed their faith in Christ, 36:03.720 --> 36:06.280 will be resurrected at the first resurrection. 36:06.280 --> 36:08.520 Let's look at verse 24. 36:08.520 --> 36:10.860 Then cometh the end. 36:11.300 --> 36:14.820 when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father, 36:14.820 --> 36:20.740 when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power." 36:20.740 --> 36:23.780 So you have the first fruits, which is Christ. You have the 36:23.780 --> 36:28.180 first resurrection, which is believers rising from the dead at the rapture. 36:28.180 --> 36:32.260 The Bible then says, then cometh the end. I believe you could 36:32.800 --> 36:39.560 label that as the quote second resurrection which happens post Millennium those who get saved after 36:40.160 --> 36:47.000 the rapture there's going to be the ministry of the two witnesses still going on for that second half of 36:47.280 --> 36:50.400 Daniel 70th week you're gonna have the 36:51.400 --> 36:58.280 144,000 that I would argue are preaching the gospel in the second half of Daniel 70th week as well 36:58.280 --> 37:00.400 I believe they come down as we go up 37:00.800 --> 37:06.480 for the rapture and they're going to be people who get saved and these people will be resurrected 37:06.480 --> 37:08.720 at that second resurrection. 37:08.720 --> 37:13.680 There might even be mortal beings who get saved, people, all right? 37:13.680 --> 37:16.040 I didn't mean to sound like they were like aliens or something, but what I'm trying to 37:16.040 --> 37:21.140 say is that there are going to be people who aren't in a glorified state in the millennium 37:21.140 --> 37:26.600 who get saved and they're resurrected at that second resurrection as well. 37:26.600 --> 37:27.740 So that's the order of it. 37:28.200 --> 37:29.700 We're focusing on the first one. 37:29.700 --> 37:32.100 That one pertains to us. 37:32.100 --> 37:34.500 And the first thing I wanted you to notice 37:34.500 --> 37:37.100 is the hope of the first resurrection. 37:37.300 --> 37:39.600 the hope of the first resurrection. 37:39.600 --> 37:41.900 And we see that in Revelation 20, 37:41.900 --> 37:43.240 when it literally says, 37:43.240 --> 37:45.440 on such the second death, 37:45.440 --> 37:46.680 hath no power. 37:46.680 --> 37:47.580 That's hope. 37:47.580 --> 37:49.780 That's the hope that only the saved have. 37:49.780 --> 37:50.880 And it's Jesus Christ, 37:50.880 --> 37:52.480 I believe, referring to this event 37:52.480 --> 37:54.080 that said in John 5, 37:54.080 --> 37:56.080 they that hear shall live. 37:57.700 --> 38:02.100 In Ezekiel, this resurrection is also referenced at the, 38:02.100 --> 38:06.180 in Ezekiel chapter 37 with the Valley of Dry Bones picturing 38:06.180 --> 38:08.740 the fact that believers will come back to life again. 38:08.740 --> 38:12.580 But let's look at 1 Thessalonians 4, 1 Thessalonians 4. 38:14.200 --> 38:18.840 on such the second death hath no power. 38:18.840 --> 38:20.040 There's hope. 38:20.040 --> 38:22.640 Only the saved can enjoy that hope. 38:22.640 --> 38:24.880 Only those who've accepted the Gospel of Christ 38:24.880 --> 38:29.180 have the hope of one day literally rising again 38:29.180 --> 38:31.520 from the dead. 38:31.520 --> 38:34.220 And the second death, if you're saved this evening, 38:34.220 --> 38:38.560 the second death has no power over you. 38:38.560 --> 38:41.000 Has no power over you whatsoever. 38:42.300 --> 38:46.380 You know, Paul said in the face of his persecutors that he has hope toward God. 38:47.100 --> 38:49.180 which they themselves also allow, 38:49.180 --> 38:51.380 that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, 38:51.380 --> 38:54.680 both of the just and unjust." 38:54.680 --> 38:56.480 So think about this, Paul is literally saying, 38:56.480 --> 39:00.480 hey, I have hope toward God because of the resurrection. 39:00.480 --> 39:02.780 Now there's many reasons why, but that's one of them. 39:02.780 --> 39:05.020 Chief among them is the resurrection, 39:05.020 --> 39:07.300 but he also brings up the resurrection of the dead. 39:07.300 --> 39:08.960 You know, that gives me hope. 39:08.960 --> 39:10.600 The fact that the unsaved... 39:11.600 --> 39:15.600 who've done wickedly and have corrupted people 39:15.600 --> 39:18.600 and those who've done evil in this life, 39:18.600 --> 39:22.600 that one day they too will take part in a resurrection of damnation 39:22.600 --> 39:26.600 and be judged for their wickedness and their evil and their sin. 39:26.900 --> 39:29.700 especially those who persecuted Christians in this lifetime. 39:29.700 --> 39:32.400 The fact that one day they will receive 39:32.400 --> 39:34.400 what has been coming to them in this life 39:34.400 --> 39:37.300 that maybe they didn't necessarily get in this life, 39:37.300 --> 39:39.100 that God is gonna judge them 39:39.100 --> 39:41.500 and then cast them into the lake of fire as Christians, 39:41.500 --> 39:44.200 let me tell you something, that gives me hope. 39:44.200 --> 39:46.100 And I think that gives Christians hope as well 39:46.100 --> 39:50.000 because look, you know, we want God to avenge us. 39:50.000 --> 39:52.400 Well, that will happen one day. 39:53.600 --> 40:00.080 But what I wanted you to notice also is that there's a certainty to this resurrection. 40:00.960 --> 40:09.040 It's going to happen. If you believed, you will rise again. Yet another reason as if you needed it. 40:09.040 --> 40:15.360 Why one saved always saved? Because the Bible's saying if you believe, you will rise again from 40:15.360 --> 40:16.500 the dead one day. 40:17.400 --> 40:23.500 Because you can't lose your salvation. That's why it could refer to it with such certainty it will happen and 40:24.900 --> 40:26.640 That gives us hope 40:26.640 --> 40:33.540 You know I have hope that one day I will have that glorified body and all the aches and the pains and the issues that 40:33.540 --> 40:35.940 We have to deal with with this mortal sinful flesh 40:36.080 --> 40:37.940 We won't have to deal with it anymore 40:37.940 --> 40:44.520 The constant battle that we have inside of us not to sin and to do bad things and to yield to the flesh 40:45.500 --> 40:50.280 You know, the Bible says, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly 40:50.280 --> 40:54.160 lusts which war against the soul. 40:54.160 --> 40:57.840 We are in a constant state of warfare with ourselves in a sense. 40:57.840 --> 41:03.000 The spirit versus the flesh, well one day that battle will not have to be waged by us 41:03.000 --> 41:07.800 anymore because we'll be rising again with a perfect glorified body and we won't have 41:07.800 --> 41:08.360 to deal with it. 41:09.100 --> 41:12.780 Like I said, the aches and the pains and the issues that we experience, 41:12.780 --> 41:16.140 the health problems that we've had to deal with in this life. 41:16.860 --> 41:18.380 We have hope as Christians. 41:18.380 --> 41:21.980 We're not going to have to deal with that one day anymore. 41:21.980 --> 41:22.860 And there's more hope. 41:22.860 --> 41:28.380 1 Corinthians, excuse me, 1 Thessalonians 4 talks about that in verse 13. 41:29.340 --> 41:32.460 Famous passage that's often read at funerals for a reason. 41:33.200 --> 41:35.200 And you'll see why. In verse 13 it says, 41:35.200 --> 41:37.200 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, 41:37.200 --> 41:39.200 concerning them which are asleep, 41:39.200 --> 41:44.200 that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 41:44.200 --> 41:47.200 When one of our own dies, we shouldn't sorrow, 41:47.200 --> 41:50.200 even as others which have no hope, because we have hope. 41:50.200 --> 41:52.200 We will see them one day in heaven, 41:52.200 --> 41:57.100 and we will see them one day in their glorified, resurrected flesh. 41:58.100 --> 42:04.100 You know, praise God we haven't had to, as a movement, deal with this too much. 42:04.100 --> 42:13.180 There have been some brothers who unfortunately did pass away at a young age due to tragedy. 42:13.180 --> 42:16.860 There was a case at Faithful Word where this occurred. 42:16.860 --> 42:18.400 And it is sad. 42:18.400 --> 42:20.280 And we do mourn for a time. 42:20.280 --> 42:22.880 And I spoke to some people out there. 42:23.100 --> 42:27.340 who were still at the time, this was last November, 42:27.340 --> 42:29.220 they were still upset about it. 42:29.220 --> 42:31.560 And they were still mourning the loss 42:31.560 --> 42:32.700 that they experienced there. 42:32.700 --> 42:34.980 And there have been some others, unfortunately, 42:34.980 --> 42:35.820 that have occurred. 42:35.820 --> 42:37.740 But here's the thing, though. 42:37.740 --> 42:39.480 They still had hope. 42:39.480 --> 42:41.680 They didn't mourn as those which have no hope 42:41.680 --> 42:43.580 because they know that they're going to see 42:43.580 --> 42:46.520 that beloved brother one day. 42:46.520 --> 42:49.100 They'll see him again and... 42:49.100 --> 42:50.400 And so that's comforting. 42:50.500 --> 42:54.000 Okay, the resurrection gives us comfort to know that, 42:54.100 --> 42:56.100 hey, this life, it doesn't end here. 42:56.200 --> 42:57.600 Let's look at verse 14. 42:57.700 --> 43:00.400 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, 43:00.500 --> 43:02.940 even so them also which sleep in Jesus, 43:03.040 --> 43:06.340 will God bring with Him. 43:06.440 --> 43:09.620 So we'll be coming back one day with Christ Himself. 43:09.720 --> 43:13.460 Verse 15, for this we say unto you by the word of the Lord. 43:13.800 --> 43:18.280 that we which are alive and remain under the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which 43:18.280 --> 43:24.200 are asleep for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout and excuse me with the 43:24.200 --> 43:30.840 voice of the archangel and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 43:32.040 --> 43:37.800 The first resurrection right there the dead in Christ shall rise first. 43:39.200 --> 43:40.960 And this occurs at the rapture. 43:40.960 --> 43:44.200 We clearly see that the Lord Jesus Christ returns. 43:44.200 --> 43:46.760 And then you have believers rising again. 43:46.760 --> 43:47.900 Verse 17. 43:48.100 --> 43:53.540 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air 43:53.860 --> 43:56.900 And so shall we ever be with the Lord again? 43:56.900 --> 44:02.900 This is read at funerals because talks about sorrowing and how we shouldn't sorrow like those who have no hope 44:02.980 --> 44:07.800 But we will be caught up together and we will meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air 44:08.300 --> 44:13.020 For wheresoever the carcass is, there shall the eagles be gathered together." 44:13.020 --> 44:17.540 When Jesus says that at the Olivet Discourse, I do believe that this is what He's talking 44:17.540 --> 44:21.180 about, that we will meet Him in the air. 44:21.180 --> 44:26.820 And so this mortal body, what's the conclusion of the matter, is that this mortal body that 44:26.820 --> 44:31.100 we currently inhabit is not our permanent home. 44:31.100 --> 44:33.340 It's just a temporary home for us. 44:33.700 --> 44:37.700 One day we'll be receiving a more permanent home, 44:37.700 --> 44:40.900 the glorified resurrected body. 44:40.900 --> 44:43.440 And so shall we ever be with the Lord. 44:43.440 --> 44:45.740 But this resurrection is a certainty. 44:45.740 --> 44:47.540 It will happen. 44:47.540 --> 44:49.380 And that gives us hope. 44:49.380 --> 44:50.340 That gives us hope. 44:50.340 --> 44:51.840 Now, if you're a preterist 44:51.840 --> 44:56.120 and you think that every end times prophetic passage 44:56.120 --> 44:58.420 has already come to pass... 44:58.900 --> 45:02.240 then you don't have this hope in a sense. 45:02.240 --> 45:07.340 Because you think it's already, they like nonsensically believe that this already happened in 70 AD. 45:07.340 --> 45:09.340 That Jesus returned. 45:09.340 --> 45:13.900 It's so just ridiculous it's not even worth spending another second on. 45:13.900 --> 45:16.380 These are clearly future events that are happening. 45:16.380 --> 45:19.120 And like I said, the first resurrection gives us hope. 45:19.120 --> 45:21.120 Let's go back to 1 Corinthians 15. 45:21.120 --> 45:24.620 What's another aspect of the first resurrection? 45:24.620 --> 45:26.620 It's the victory of it. 45:27.900 --> 45:31.900 Okay, and so my second point is the victory. 45:31.900 --> 45:36.620 I want you to notice rather the victory of the first resurrection. 45:36.620 --> 45:39.940 Now remember, what did Revelation 20 tell us? 45:39.940 --> 45:45.020 On such the second death has no power. 45:45.020 --> 45:46.940 That's victory. 45:46.940 --> 45:48.780 That's victory, ladies and gentlemen. 45:48.780 --> 45:51.100 We are on the winning side. 45:54.600 --> 46:01.780 Bible says for whatsoever is born of God overcome at the world and this is the victory that overcome at the world even our faith 46:02.540 --> 46:09.500 Faith is the victory. We are victorious. We are on the winning side and the resurrection is a resurrection of 46:09.940 --> 46:14.480 Victory and if you've believed in Jesus, that's exactly what you'll participate in one day 46:15.100 --> 46:22.100 a resurrection of victory. Thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 46:22.100 --> 46:26.600 It is a resurrection of victory over death, victory over hell, and you know what? 46:26.600 --> 46:30.600 Victory over the Antichrist and his armies and his minions as well. 46:30.600 --> 46:35.100 Because even if they take our flesh away and they slay us in the flesh, 46:35.400 --> 46:42.040 They can't do anything about the fact that we have eternal security and we're going to heaven and we will rise again 46:42.440 --> 46:47.000 One day in revelation 20 where we started it does make reference to those 46:47.720 --> 46:50.840 Who did not take the mark of the beast? 46:51.720 --> 46:54.600 And they did not worship his image 46:55.400 --> 47:02.300 They were slain for that. They were beheaded for the witness of jesus, but in spite of being killed 47:02.800 --> 47:05.300 they were still victorious. 47:05.300 --> 47:10.000 The second death did not have power over them. 47:10.000 --> 47:11.700 They live anyway. 47:11.700 --> 47:15.300 In spite of being slain, they live anyway. 47:15.300 --> 47:17.900 And the Bible says that they reigned with Christ 47:17.900 --> 47:19.500 a thousand years. 47:19.500 --> 47:23.400 So to be decapitated for the witness of Jesus... 47:23.800 --> 47:27.640 Because you refuse to worship the abomination of desolation 47:27.640 --> 47:29.480 and take the mark of the beast, 47:29.480 --> 47:33.320 and yet to live anyway and reign with Jesus himself, 47:33.320 --> 47:34.520 that's victory. 47:35.000 --> 47:36.300 That is victory. 47:36.300 --> 47:38.200 And so whenever you feel down and out 47:38.200 --> 47:40.800 or you feel discouraged about the trials 47:40.800 --> 47:42.800 and the tribulations that you might be going through 47:42.800 --> 47:44.800 in this life, maybe you're being persecuted 47:44.800 --> 47:46.000 for the cause of Christ, 47:46.000 --> 47:48.400 remember that you are on the winning side. 47:48.400 --> 47:53.300 Remember that you have victory through Christ. 47:53.300 --> 47:57.300 And this resurrection we're talking about is that, 47:57.300 --> 47:59.900 which is a resurrection of victory. 47:59.900 --> 48:01.900 Let's look at verse 54. 48:02.000 --> 48:09.000 in 1 Corinthians 15. 1 Corinthians 15 and verse 54 where the Bible read, 48:10.000 --> 48:15.000 so when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, 48:15.000 --> 48:20.000 talking about how when you rise again you'll have a sinless body 48:20.000 --> 48:27.000 without corruption that will never die, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, 48:27.000 --> 48:28.500 You will never die again. 48:29.000 --> 48:36.480 Then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written notice death is swallowed up in what? 48:37.240 --> 48:38.440 victory 48:38.440 --> 48:41.160 One of my favorite words in the English language right here 48:42.040 --> 48:45.140 All right. I I am just obsessed with the word victory 48:45.140 --> 48:51.360 Some of you may have figured that out, but death is swallowed up in victory our bodies will come out of the grave 48:51.400 --> 48:53.400 We will have victory over death 48:53.920 --> 48:55.200 victory over hell 48:55.900 --> 49:02.860 And then what? Well, hey, after three and a half years of God pouring out his wrath on the wicked, 49:02.860 --> 49:09.260 his wrath on this world, those who've taken the mark of the beast, then we come back and we rule 49:09.260 --> 49:14.940 and reign with Christ for a thousand years. So here's the thing, is you know, the enemy, 49:14.940 --> 49:21.340 they can lie about us, which they do, they can slander us, which they do on a daily basis. 49:21.800 --> 49:25.180 Okay, they can defame us the enemy can try to 49:25.840 --> 49:32.040 Censor our speech and kick us off of social media and kick us off of YouTube and all these other different platforms 49:32.040 --> 49:35.920 But you know what they can never take away the victory that we have through the resurrection 49:36.120 --> 49:41.200 And they can certainly never take away the hope that we have through the resurrection as well 49:42.640 --> 49:48.960 You know as far as I'm concerned I think we already can claim that victory right now 49:49.600 --> 49:53.200 God call it those things which be not as though they were. 49:53.200 --> 49:55.300 Might as well already have been resurrected. 49:55.300 --> 49:57.000 It's a certainty anyway. 49:57.000 --> 50:00.000 And so we are victorious in Christ right now 50:00.000 --> 50:02.000 as I'm speaking to you. 50:02.000 --> 50:02.940 You're on the winning side. 50:02.940 --> 50:04.300 Never forget that. 50:04.300 --> 50:05.580 You are on the winning side. 50:05.580 --> 50:07.600 Don't let people discourage you. 50:07.600 --> 50:12.320 Don't let people shame you about your stand for Christ. 50:12.320 --> 50:14.040 They're the loser. 50:14.700 --> 50:20.520 You're the one going out bearing fruit taking the things of God seriously 50:20.680 --> 50:26.040 You're the one who is on God's side if God be for us who can be against us 50:27.020 --> 50:34.860 Do not let them discourage you do not let them demoralize you we have a resurrection of victory to look forward to I think 50:34.920 --> 50:36.800 We're victorious right now 50:37.100 --> 50:43.100 The third thing I want to mention is the change of the first resurrection. 50:43.100 --> 50:45.100 The change. 50:45.100 --> 50:48.100 And you should still be in 1 Corinthians 15. 50:48.100 --> 50:51.100 We'll look at verse 50. 50:51.100 --> 50:56.100 But notice the change of the first resurrection. 50:56.100 --> 50:58.100 Verse 50, it says, 50:58.100 --> 51:02.100 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, 51:02.100 --> 51:04.600 neither doth corruption 51:04.700 --> 51:07.700 inherit in corruption. So we have an issue. 51:07.700 --> 51:11.200 Is that in coru- excuse me, corruption cannot inherit 51:11.200 --> 51:15.020 in corruption. So there's gotta be something that changes. 51:15.020 --> 51:18.260 Well, read verse 51, behold 51:18.260 --> 51:23.500 I show you a mystery we shall not all sleep but we shall all be 51:23.500 --> 51:24.500 changed. 51:25.500 --> 51:29.420 In a moment of the twinkling of an eye, the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, 51:29.420 --> 51:35.420 and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, we shall be changed. For this corruptible 51:35.420 --> 51:43.020 must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." Those who are alive at the time 51:43.020 --> 51:49.580 of the rapture are changed. They receive a glorified body in that moment. 51:50.000 --> 51:54.240 They get transformed into a glorified state and meet Christ in the air. 51:54.240 --> 51:58.800 Those who rise again from the dead are not rising again from the dead. 51:58.800 --> 52:03.200 The dead in Christ are not rising again with the same body they had before. 52:03.200 --> 52:09.520 They're rising again with a incorruptible body, a sinless glorified flesh. 52:10.960 --> 52:13.840 And that's how it can inhabit heaven because it is 52:14.500 --> 52:21.540 incorruptible. It is not corrupted with sin anymore. We will be changed as well when we rise again. 52:21.540 --> 52:27.220 We'll have a new body. We'll receive a glorified body. Now what you have to understand is that 52:28.820 --> 52:35.860 there's a direct parallel between what happened to you spiritually at salvation and what will happen 52:35.860 --> 52:40.260 at the rapture because you see the moment that you got saved 52:40.800 --> 52:44.160 you were revived spiritually inwardly, 52:44.160 --> 52:46.160 from an inward perspective. 52:46.160 --> 52:48.080 So when you got saved, when you... 52:48.080 --> 52:51.960 Well, let me actually, I'll rewind a little bit further. 52:51.960 --> 52:54.320 You see, when you were a baby, 52:54.320 --> 52:56.040 you could argue you were safe, 52:56.040 --> 52:59.800 in the sense that like babies don't go to hell, okay? 52:59.800 --> 53:01.800 Regardless of what the Catholics teach. 53:02.200 --> 53:04.160 You know, babies don't go to hell. 53:04.160 --> 53:05.720 They can't understand the gospel. 53:05.720 --> 53:09.840 So had you died while you were a baby, you would have just gone straight to heaven. 53:09.840 --> 53:11.360 That's where babies go. 53:11.360 --> 53:16.520 But the thing is, is that everybody reaches a point in which Romans 7 talks about this, 53:16.520 --> 53:19.640 that sin revived and I died, the apostle Paul said. 53:19.640 --> 53:25.240 So there reaches a point, we talk about it, we refer to it as the point of the age of 53:25.240 --> 53:26.240 accountability. 53:26.240 --> 53:26.400 Thanks for watching! 53:26.400 --> 53:31.000 where once you hit that point, your spirit dies, 53:31.000 --> 53:32.640 you need to get saved. 53:32.640 --> 53:37.640 And then upon salvation, your dead spirit is revived. 53:37.640 --> 53:39.400 This is what we call the new man. 53:39.400 --> 53:43.800 This is the inward man that is revived. 53:43.800 --> 53:47.940 And in the same way, our physical bodies one day 53:47.940 --> 53:52.400 will die and go into the earth, but they will be revived. 53:52.800 --> 53:55.800 at the physical resurrection, 53:55.800 --> 53:59.000 the first resurrection I should say. 53:59.000 --> 54:00.600 Now there's similarities here 54:00.600 --> 54:05.440 because the spiritual inner man is without sin. 54:05.440 --> 54:07.440 So when I'm walking in the spirit, 54:07.440 --> 54:10.840 I am walking in that new man 54:10.840 --> 54:13.900 who is animated by the spirit 100%. 54:14.000 --> 54:18.560 by the Holy Spirit. And so when I'm walking in the Spirit, I'm walking in that new man 54:18.560 --> 54:25.440 and the Bible teaches that hey, on such, against such I should say there is no law. 54:25.440 --> 54:30.320 Because if I'm walking in the Spirit, I'm doing spiritual things and I'm bearing fruit, 54:30.320 --> 54:34.000 I'm exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit. Now of course if I'm walking in the flesh, 54:34.000 --> 54:35.600 I would be committing sin. 54:36.200 --> 54:43.240 So the thing is though is that with regard to your spiritual body when you rise again that will also be without sin 54:43.600 --> 54:45.600 So the thing is is that one day? 54:46.120 --> 54:52.340 Both our spirit and our flesh will no longer be with sin no longer have sin whatsoever will be 54:53.400 --> 54:57.580 Incorruptible let's look at verse 41 in this chapter. We'll back up to verse 41 54:59.000 --> 55:03.880 The Bible says there is one glory of the sun and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars 55:04.280 --> 55:07.720 For one star deferred from another star in glory 55:08.520 --> 55:14.600 So yeah, there's you know planets that exist flat earth earth. All right, and you got stars you've got the moon 55:15.160 --> 55:19.160 You also have in verse 42. So also is the resurrection of the dead. So 55:19.880 --> 55:21.880 you know the planets are kind of like a 55:22.300 --> 55:24.300 analog here for the resurrection of the dead. 55:24.300 --> 55:26.300 It is sown in corruption. 55:26.300 --> 55:30.300 It is raised in incorruption. 55:30.300 --> 55:32.300 It is sown in dishonor. It is raised in glory. 55:32.300 --> 55:34.300 It is sown in weakness. 55:34.300 --> 55:36.300 It is raised in power. 55:36.300 --> 55:38.300 So you've heard me use this phrase like glorified body. 55:38.300 --> 55:40.300 You know, I would derive that from 55:40.300 --> 55:42.300 verse 43. It's raised in glory. 55:43.500 --> 55:46.800 It is sown a natural body the Bible says in verse 44. 55:46.800 --> 55:48.300 It is raised a spiritual body. 55:48.300 --> 55:51.600 There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body. 55:51.600 --> 55:53.600 So just as there's different heavenly bodies, 55:53.600 --> 55:54.700 there's different planets. 55:54.700 --> 55:55.800 When you look up in the sky, 55:55.800 --> 55:57.400 you could see them with a telescope. 55:57.400 --> 55:59.300 You know, there's different, excuse me, 55:59.300 --> 56:00.700 there's different bodies as well. 56:00.700 --> 56:02.000 There's a corruptible flesh 56:02.000 --> 56:03.900 and then the incorruptible flesh 56:03.900 --> 56:07.100 which we receive at the first resurrection. 56:07.100 --> 56:10.000 And again, you're revived spiritually at salvation. 56:10.000 --> 56:11.400 Well, guess what? 58:48.200 --> 58:50.200 The pre-trib is false. 58:50.200 --> 58:52.200 How could the rapture 58:52.200 --> 58:55.840 have taken place before the Tribulation 58:55.840 --> 58:59.940 if the first resurrection contains believers 58:59.940 --> 59:03.740 who were clearly a part of the Tribulation. 59:03.740 --> 59:08.940 If you still want to cling to the pre-Trib doctrine, you would have to 59:08.940 --> 59:09.780 argue 59:09.780 --> 59:14.300 that the first resurrection is not actually the first one. 59:14.600 --> 59:18.040 that there was a resurrection that happened of believers 59:18.040 --> 59:21.420 before the first resurrection. 59:21.420 --> 59:23.080 So I usually speak fast. 59:23.080 --> 59:25.660 Hopefully I'm slowing down and you understand my point here. 59:25.660 --> 59:30.200 It's just like, it's absurd to argue for pre-trib 59:30.200 --> 59:32.200 in light of this passage 59:32.200 --> 59:35.460 because those who took part in the first resurrection 59:35.460 --> 59:38.500 clearly were there during the tribulation. 59:38.900 --> 59:41.100 or else they wouldn't have rejected the mark. 59:41.100 --> 59:43.800 It wouldn't make reference to the Antichrist, etc. 59:43.800 --> 59:48.940 Let's look at Matthew 24. 59:48.940 --> 59:52.680 So what's the timing of the first resurrection 59:52.680 --> 59:56.040 after the Tribulation? 59:56.040 --> 59:59.940 It will take place after the Tribulation. 59:59.940 --> 01:00:03.080 And if the first resurrection contains those 01:00:03.080 --> 01:00:03.840 So clearly. 01:00:04.100 --> 01:00:08.660 were alive during the tribulation and it's the first resurrection, 01:00:08.660 --> 01:00:12.940 then your pre-trib rapture doesn't work unless you want to argue 01:00:12.940 --> 01:00:15.540 that the first resurrection isn't really the first one. 01:00:17.100 --> 01:00:19.100 Which would be absurd. The Bible says, 01:00:19.100 --> 01:00:24.700 Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, 01:00:24.700 --> 01:00:28.600 and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. 01:00:28.600 --> 01:00:31.100 Hey, we're told, let no man deceive you. 01:00:31.100 --> 01:00:38.100 That day, the day of Christ, the return of Jesus, cannot come until the Antichrist reveals himself. 01:00:38.900 --> 01:00:46.900 And that happens at the midpoint when he sets up the abomination of desolation in a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. 01:00:46.900 --> 01:00:50.900 And he declares himself to be God. 01:00:50.900 --> 01:00:53.900 Then you have 75 days of great tribulation. 01:00:53.900 --> 01:00:55.900 Then you have the rapture. 01:00:56.500 --> 01:01:02.100 But clearly that day is not going to come until there are some conditions that have to be met. 01:01:02.100 --> 01:01:09.460 There are certain end times milestones that have to take place first. Jesus just explicitly gives you the timing immediately after the tribulation of those days. 01:01:19.200 --> 01:01:21.100 shall the sun be darkened, 01:01:21.100 --> 01:01:23.000 and the moon shall not give her light, 01:01:23.000 --> 01:01:25.000 and the stars shall fall from heaven, 01:01:25.000 --> 01:01:27.500 and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, 01:01:27.500 --> 01:01:30.500 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, 01:01:30.500 --> 01:01:32.400 and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, 01:01:32.400 --> 01:01:35.400 and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven 01:01:35.400 --> 01:01:37.400 with power and great glory, 01:01:37.400 --> 01:01:42.600 and he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet." 01:01:42.600 --> 01:01:44.800 You notice the rapture language here. 01:01:45.000 --> 01:01:48.640 and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds 01:01:48.640 --> 01:01:51.680 from one end of heaven to the other. 01:01:51.680 --> 01:01:54.380 After the tribulation, Jesus Christ returns. 01:01:54.380 --> 01:01:57.280 And what did we already learn in 1 Thessalonians 4? 01:01:57.280 --> 01:02:01.120 That Jesus Christ will come back with believers. 01:02:01.120 --> 01:02:02.760 He will bring them with him. 01:02:02.760 --> 01:02:05.420 The elect will be gathered from the four winds. 01:02:05.420 --> 01:02:07.700 And at this event, we will rise again. 01:02:08.400 --> 01:02:11.100 we will rise again and it's like our spiritual bodies 01:02:11.100 --> 01:02:13.600 will like meet with our glorified bodies 01:02:13.600 --> 01:02:15.540 and then we'll just all go back up into heaven. 01:02:15.540 --> 01:02:17.040 I'm not exactly sure the, you know, 01:02:17.040 --> 01:02:19.480 the precise intricacies of how it's gonna work. 01:02:19.480 --> 01:02:20.980 I kind of just take it by faith, 01:02:20.980 --> 01:02:23.340 but that's what the scripture teaches. 01:02:23.340 --> 01:02:25.140 Here's some more timing in Daniel 12. 01:02:25.140 --> 01:02:27.220 Let's look at Daniel chapter 12. 01:02:28.720 --> 01:02:29.880 See Daniel. 01:02:30.700 --> 01:02:33.300 is foretold of this resurrection 01:02:33.300 --> 01:02:34.600 that we're talking about. 01:02:34.600 --> 01:02:36.600 While Matthew 24 focuses on 01:02:36.600 --> 01:02:38.600 the return of Christ, 01:02:38.600 --> 01:02:40.600 it's in the book of Daniel 01:02:40.600 --> 01:02:43.200 where a resurrection of believers 01:02:43.200 --> 01:02:44.500 is referenced. 01:02:44.500 --> 01:02:48.000 And you get the timing explicitly stated 01:02:48.000 --> 01:02:49.500 in Daniel 12. 01:02:49.500 --> 01:02:51.300 There is no argument 01:02:51.300 --> 01:02:54.000 for the pre-Tribulation rapture. 01:02:54.200 --> 01:02:59.000 the first resurrection occurs after the tribulation on the same day 01:02:59.000 --> 01:03:02.920 that Jesus returns and Jesus returns after the tribulation. 01:03:06.900 --> 01:03:09.900 verse 11, Daniel 12 and verse 11. 01:03:09.900 --> 01:03:12.300 And from the time that the daily sacrifice 01:03:12.300 --> 01:03:14.900 shall be taken away and the abomination 01:03:14.900 --> 01:03:16.940 that make it desolate set up, 01:03:16.940 --> 01:03:21.520 there shall be 1,290 days. 01:03:22.380 --> 01:03:26.320 This is a time period that encompasses the midpoint 01:03:26.320 --> 01:03:29.280 of Daniel 70th week all the way to the end, 01:03:29.280 --> 01:03:31.620 1,290 days. 01:03:32.100 --> 01:03:36.300 So before Jesus sets up his kingdom on this earth, 01:03:36.300 --> 01:03:38.940 there's a final seven year period 01:03:38.940 --> 01:03:41.880 that we call Daniel's 70th week. 01:03:41.880 --> 01:03:44.440 It's a seven year period. 01:03:44.440 --> 01:03:49.440 The first half of it is 1260 days, three and a half years. 01:03:49.820 --> 01:03:53.180 At the midpoint, the Antichrist proclaims himself 01:03:53.180 --> 01:03:54.920 to be a false god. 01:03:54.920 --> 01:03:58.120 He sets up an idol in the temple and 01:03:58.120 --> 01:03:58.400 Thanks for watching! 01:03:58.800 --> 01:04:04.380 He sets up a decree that says you have to worship this image or be executed 01:04:05.040 --> 01:04:09.200 following that is a 75 day period of great tribulation and 01:04:09.900 --> 01:04:11.040 then 01:04:11.040 --> 01:04:16.200 You have obviously already talked about it the battle of Armageddon, etc 01:04:16.200 --> 01:04:23.300 But there's a 1290 day period that encompasses the second half of Daniel's 70th week 01:04:24.100 --> 01:04:32.180 Now the reason why the first half is 1260, the second half is 1290 is because every seven years 01:04:32.180 --> 01:04:36.740 on the Hebrew calendar year there is a leap month. They tack on an extra 30 days 01:04:37.380 --> 01:04:40.800 at the end of every seven years. But let's look at verse 12. 01:04:41.300 --> 01:04:51.860 It says, blessed is he that waiteth and cometh to the 1,305 and 30 days. 01:04:51.860 --> 01:04:58.260 So verse 11 is giving you just a general timeline of the second half of the seven year period. 01:04:58.260 --> 01:05:03.860 But then we have a very, very interesting verse right after it in verse 12, 01:05:03.860 --> 01:05:07.300 where there is a blessing for those who wait and come. 01:05:07.900 --> 01:05:19.420 to what? The 1,335th day of Daniel's 70th week. Why? Because that's the first resurrection. 01:05:19.420 --> 01:05:28.060 Look at verse 13. But go thou thy way till the end be, for thou shalt rest and stand in thy lot 01:05:28.060 --> 01:05:33.980 at the end of the days. You see, to resurrect is to stand up. 01:05:34.400 --> 01:05:39.400 Daniel will stand in his lot on the 1,335th day. 01:05:42.900 --> 01:05:45.320 So we have the timing right here in Daniel 12. 01:05:45.320 --> 01:05:48.680 Explain to me how it could be pre-trip. 01:05:48.680 --> 01:05:50.240 It just can't. 01:05:50.240 --> 01:05:51.640 And if you looked at it on a chart, 01:05:51.640 --> 01:05:54.460 you would clearly see that that day 01:05:54.460 --> 01:05:57.660 is 75 days after the midpoint. 01:06:00.100 --> 01:06:02.300 See, there's a difference between the tribulation 01:06:02.300 --> 01:06:03.740 and God's wrath. 01:06:03.740 --> 01:06:05.540 Once the tribulation period ends, 01:06:05.540 --> 01:06:09.380 then God pours out his wrath for that second half, 01:06:09.380 --> 01:06:11.040 the three and a half year period. 01:06:11.040 --> 01:06:13.720 So Daniel will stand. 01:06:13.720 --> 01:06:15.080 And what's the timing? 01:06:15.080 --> 01:06:19.680 1,335 days into Daniel's 70th week. 01:06:19.680 --> 01:06:22.320 Let's go to Romans chapter six, Romans chapter six. 01:06:25.000 --> 01:06:28.140 we see the timing of this revival, 01:06:28.140 --> 01:06:32.040 this physical revival. 01:06:32.040 --> 01:06:34.580 And it's also the timing of the second coming of Christ. 01:06:34.580 --> 01:06:38.380 It's the timing in which the dead in Christ rise first. 01:06:38.380 --> 01:06:39.680 They rise again. 01:06:41.800 --> 01:06:46.360 Here's the thing about this is that we could look at the timing we could look at all these different 01:06:46.840 --> 01:06:48.560 aspects of the first 01:06:48.560 --> 01:06:53.440 Resurrection and I love doing that. Hey you guys some of you may know this, you know 01:06:53.440 --> 01:06:57.160 I love geeking out over end times prophecy and things like that 01:06:58.600 --> 01:07:05.160 But you know, we shouldn't forget that with this information comes a calling for us. 01:07:05.160 --> 01:07:11.400 Okay, this isn't just like some cool little facts or whatever for us to learn and then just move on 01:07:11.400 --> 01:07:16.520 without having applied anything. There is a calling and so the final point that I want to make 01:07:17.160 --> 01:07:19.640 is the call of the first resurrection. 01:07:21.100 --> 01:07:28.860 And I want you to notice that there is a calling that comes with the first resurrection. Let's look at Romans chapter 6 if you would Romans chapter 6 01:07:30.860 --> 01:07:34.860 So Romans chapter 6 it has a few passages in it that can be a little tricky 01:07:35.660 --> 01:07:42.620 But pastor Oz, of course, you just you guys had a roman series.
