WEBVTT

09:00.000 --> 09:14.720
Alright, welcome to Shul Foundation Baptist Church on the afternoon service.

09:14.720 --> 09:29.560
If you would turn your hymnal to Psalm 146, Sheltering the Time of Storm, Psalm 146.

09:29.560 --> 09:39.280
The Lord thou rock in him we hide, a shelter in the time of storm.

09:39.280 --> 09:48.520
Secure whatever he'll be hide, a shelter in the time of storm.

09:48.520 --> 10:02.520
Oh Jesus is a rock in a weary land, a weary land, a weary land.

10:02.520 --> 10:16.120
A shelter in the time of storm, a shade by day, defense by night, a shelter in the time of storm.

10:16.280 --> 10:25.320
No fears, no love, no foes, a fright, a shelter in the time of storm.

10:25.320 --> 10:34.600
Oh Jesus is a rock in a weary land, a weary land, a weary land.

10:34.600 --> 10:43.880
Oh Jesus is a rock in a weary land, a shelter in the time of storm.

10:43.960 --> 10:52.920
The raging storms may round us beat, a shelter in the time of storm.

10:52.920 --> 11:02.280
We'll never leave our safe retreat, a shelter in the time of storm.

11:02.280 --> 11:11.640
Oh Jesus is a rock in a weary land, a weary land, a weary land.

11:11.640 --> 11:20.840
Oh Jesus is a rock in a weary land, a shelter in the time of storm.

11:20.920 --> 11:30.280
Oh rock divine, oh refuge dear, a shelter in the time of storm.

11:30.280 --> 11:39.640
Be thou our helper ever near, a shelter in the time of storm.

11:39.640 --> 11:48.920
Oh Jesus is a rock in a weary land, a weary land, a weary land.

11:48.920 --> 11:57.960
Oh Jesus is a rock in a weary land, a shelter in the time of storm.

11:57.960 --> 12:01.800
All right let's open up the service with a word of prayer. Thank you Will for a great day today

12:01.800 --> 12:05.560
and pray that you'll bless the afternoon service. Help us stay awake and be with the

12:05.560 --> 12:11.800
sing and the preaching. Pray this in Jesus name, amen. All right go to song number 191.

12:12.520 --> 12:16.920
We'll sing in my heart, reigns the melody, song 191.

12:19.000 --> 12:34.520
On the first I have a song that Jesus gave me. It was sent from heaven above.

12:34.520 --> 12:43.080
There never was a sweeter melody, this a melody of love.

12:43.720 --> 12:53.880
Oh in my heart there reigns a melody, there reigns a melody with heaven's harmony.

12:54.760 --> 13:02.360
In my heart there reigns a melody, there reigns a melody of love.

13:02.520 --> 13:12.280
I have a sweet day on Calvary, for he washed my sins away.

13:13.400 --> 13:21.880
He put within my heart a melody, and I know it's there to stay.

13:22.600 --> 13:32.760
In my heart there reigns a melody, there reigns a melody with heaven's harmony.

13:32.760 --> 13:41.320
In my heart there reigns a melody, there reigns a melody of love.

13:42.200 --> 13:50.920
To be my hand, let's sing in glory. With the angels I will sing.

13:51.880 --> 14:00.520
There'll be a song with glorious harmony. When the chords of heaven ring.

14:02.360 --> 14:11.080
In my heart there reigns a melody, there reigns a melody with heaven's harmony.

14:12.120 --> 14:19.800
In my heart there reigns a melody, there reigns a melody of love.

14:20.920 --> 14:25.400
Alright good sing. Let's go through the announcement. If you need a bulletin,

14:25.400 --> 14:31.480
please raise your hand and Asher will bring one to you. The verse of the week is 2 Timothy 2 verse

14:31.480 --> 14:35.880
21. The Bible says, if a man therefore purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto

14:35.880 --> 14:41.560
honor, sanctified and meet for the Master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

14:41.560 --> 14:47.160
And we should never be settled on our lease. We should be seeking to be purified so we can

14:47.160 --> 14:54.600
be for God's use. Let's look at the inside page. We are on YouTube, Facebook, Rumble, and X. We

15:14.200 --> 15:21.480
1, 30 p.m. And today we had 14 sinners and five salvations. Praise the Lord for that.

15:22.280 --> 15:30.840
Upcoming events, we'll meet at a different location on May 24th due to the Indy 500 race on the road

15:30.840 --> 15:36.040

15:36.040 --> 15:40.040

15:40.040 --> 15:48.120

16:00.680 --> 16:06.680
please let me know who is planning on to go to the Indy 500 swimming marathon. Raise your hand if you

16:06.680 --> 16:13.000
want to go to Indy 500. All right, yeah because we'll be shuttle we'll be shuttling you guys in,

16:13.000 --> 16:17.720

16:29.480 --> 16:36.520
and then we're going to come back here. So yeah that's Indy 500. Also who has had meatballs for

16:36.520 --> 16:43.400
lunch? Please raise your hand. Okay now let me tell you what's in the meatball. Liver and heart,

16:43.400 --> 16:48.440
so if you guys don't like it, you know you're too bad. Okay, so thank you they're all easy. So

16:50.120 --> 16:54.440
yeah and that's not a joke. So all we're going to meet is good for you, amen.

16:55.000 --> 17:02.120
So boost your testosterone. Anyway, all right that's all the announcement. Let's sing one more song

17:02.120 --> 17:09.320
and then we'll take up the offering. Turn to song number 112, Be Still My Soul, song 112.

17:14.040 --> 17:28.280
Be still my soul, the Lord is on thy side.

17:28.280 --> 17:31.160
Be still my soul, the Lord is on thy side.

17:31.160 --> 17:40.680
Bear patiently the cross of grief of pain.

17:41.000 --> 17:49.080
Lead to thy God to order and provide.

17:51.240 --> 17:58.600
In every change he faithful will remain.

18:01.240 --> 18:09.080
Be still my soul, thy best, thy heavenly friend.

18:11.400 --> 18:18.680
Though heavenly ways leads to a joyful land.

18:20.920 --> 18:28.600
Be still my soul, the Lord is on thy side.

18:28.680 --> 18:38.520
To guide the future as he has the past.

18:41.160 --> 18:48.520
Thy hope thy calm, confidence let nothing shake.

18:49.000 --> 18:58.680
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.

19:01.240 --> 19:08.840
Be still my soul, the waves and wings still know.

19:09.400 --> 19:18.840
His voice who ruled them while he flowed below.

19:21.640 --> 19:29.160
Be still my soul, the howl is hasting on.

19:29.640 --> 19:39.240
When we shall be forever with the Lord.

19:41.080 --> 19:49.160
When disappointment, grief and fear are gone.

19:49.240 --> 19:58.760
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.

20:00.680 --> 20:08.680
Be still my soul, when change and tears are past.

20:08.680 --> 20:16.680
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

21:08.680 --> 21:36.680
Jude the servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father and preserved in Jesus Christ and called, mercy unto you and peace and glory.

21:38.680 --> 21:50.680
When love and love be multiplied, beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

21:52.680 --> 22:06.680
For there are certain men crept in unawares who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

22:06.680 --> 22:16.680
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believe not.

22:16.680 --> 22:26.680
And the angels, which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

22:28.680 --> 22:44.680
Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, in the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

22:44.680 --> 23:04.680
Likewise also, these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, the Lord rebuke thee.

23:04.680 --> 23:26.680
But these speak evil of those sayings which they know not, but what they know naturally as brute beasts, in those sayings they corrupt themselves, woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and reigned greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gain saying of Kor.

23:26.680 --> 23:54.680
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear, clouds they are without water, carried about of winds, trees whose fruit withereth without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots, raging waves of the sea, foaming out of their own shame, wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

23:54.680 --> 24:20.680
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied these sayings, Behold the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds, which these have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches, which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

24:20.680 --> 24:33.680
These are murmurs, complainers, walking after their own lusts, and their mouths speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of the vantage.

24:33.680 --> 24:48.680
But beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, how that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

24:48.680 --> 24:53.680
These be they who separate themselves sensual, having not this spirit.

24:53.680 --> 25:06.680
But ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

25:06.680 --> 25:18.680
And some, and of some, have compassion, making a difference, and others, saved with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

25:18.680 --> 25:35.680
Now, unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God, our Savior, be glory in majesty, dominion, and power, both now and ever. Amen.

25:35.680 --> 25:50.680
Brother Christian, could you bring us into service?

25:50.680 --> 25:57.680
Amen. All right. Remember everything that you just read in Jude. We're going to get back to that at the end of the sermon.

25:57.680 --> 26:04.680
But first, I want to talk about grace, and I just want to start off the sermon by saying grace is good. Grace is a good thing. Amen.

26:04.680 --> 26:12.680
The definition of grace is pretty much just unmerited favor. You're getting something that you do not deserve.

26:12.680 --> 26:25.680
And in the New Testament especially, John, Peter, and Paul open up and close out a lot of their epistles and writings with praying that you would have grace to the reader, whoever is reading it.

26:25.680 --> 26:34.680
The term free grace is a biblical term. Turn to Romans chapter 3 verse 24.

26:34.680 --> 26:47.680
Now, technically, everybody in this room should be in the free grace community because free grace is a biblical concept. You should be in Romans chapter 3 verse 24.

26:47.680 --> 26:57.680
The Bible says being justified freely by his grace through the redemption through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus freely by his grace.

26:57.680 --> 27:06.680
Grace is free, but it's not cheap. It's not something you have to pay for. It's completely free on behalf of the Lord Jesus Christ.

27:06.680 --> 27:12.680
Also, another important thing about grace is that grace is a part of the gospel. Turn to Galatians chapter 1.

27:12.680 --> 27:24.680
Galatians chapter 1. Grace is a very important intrinsic part of the gospel that we need. You should be in Galatians chapter 1 verse 6.

27:24.680 --> 27:33.680
The Bible says, I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel.

27:33.680 --> 27:39.680
Verse 7, which is not another, but there be some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

27:39.680 --> 27:47.680
So in verse 6 and 7 at the end of both those verses, in verse 6 it says the grace of Christ and then at the end of verse 7 it says the gospel of Christ.

27:47.680 --> 27:53.680
So those two things are synonymous. Turn to Galatians chapter 2 verse 21.

27:53.680 --> 28:01.680
A lot of people, even unsaved people, misunderstand the whole purpose of Jesus Christ coming to this earth.

28:01.680 --> 28:11.680
In Galatians chapter 2 verse 21 the Bible says, I do not frustrate the grace of God for if righteousness come by the law then Christ is dead and vain.

28:11.680 --> 28:18.680
If you ask the average person what it takes to go to heaven, they're going to mention the good decision making that they had in their life.

28:18.680 --> 28:29.680
Their moral compass, but if that was the case, if righteousness came by the law then there would be no point of Jesus Christ coming to this earth to pay for our sins.

28:29.680 --> 28:39.680
We could have already did it by ourselves. Another great thing about grace is that it's not just extended to you, it's not just extended to you, but it's extended to every man.

28:39.680 --> 28:54.680
In Hebrews chapter 2 verse 9 the Bible says, But we see Jesus who is made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

28:54.680 --> 29:02.680
So praise the Lord for that, that his grace is not only to you, but is for everybody that has ever existed in this earth.

29:02.680 --> 29:08.680
Another great thing about grace, turn to Ephesians chapter 2, grace saves us.

29:08.680 --> 29:17.680
Acts 15-11 the Bible says, But we believe through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved even as they.

29:17.680 --> 29:32.680
You should be in Ephesians chapter 2, Ephesians chapter 2, Ephesians chapter 2 verse 5 the Bible says, Even when we were dead in sins have quickened us together with Christ by grace you are saved,

29:32.680 --> 29:38.680
and have raised us up together and made us to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

29:38.680 --> 29:46.680
Then the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace and his kindness toward us through Jesus Christ.

29:46.680 --> 29:54.680
For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves is the gift of God not of works, lest any man should boast.

29:54.680 --> 30:01.680
Turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 15, another great thing about grace, we're just naming great things about grace, I'm trying to get you ready for the sermon.

30:01.680 --> 30:12.680
Romans chapter 5 verse 20 the Bible says, Moreover the law entered that the fence might abound, but where sin abounded grace did much more abound.

30:12.680 --> 30:20.680
So praise the Lord that even when we sin there's grace to cover our sins no matter how many times that we sin.

30:20.680 --> 30:30.680
You should be in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, 1 Corinthians chapter 15 the Bible explains to us how grace could even help us do our good works.

30:30.680 --> 30:40.680
1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 10 the Bible says, But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain,

30:40.680 --> 30:46.680
but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

30:46.680 --> 30:57.680
So Paul wasn't being boastful like oh I'm the greatest apostle look at me, he's saying the reason why he did more works than other apostles was because the grace of God was bestowed upon him.

30:57.680 --> 31:03.680
Last thing about grace and a really important factor about grace is that grace helped us in our prayer life.

31:03.680 --> 31:19.680
Turn to Hebrews chapter 4, Hebrews chapter 4 verse 16 the Bible says,

31:19.680 --> 31:31.680
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in a time of need.

31:31.680 --> 31:39.680
So praise the Lord that you know when we're praying and we've been messing up a lot in our lives, God will still give us grace when we pray.

31:39.680 --> 31:46.680
Now with all that being said, there is a lot of problems with the so-called free grace community.

31:46.680 --> 31:49.680
Like I said, we are all technically in the free grace community.

31:49.680 --> 31:59.680
If you believe that salvation is by faith through grace, by grace through faith alone, and that once you're saved you're always saved because his grace covers all your sins, you're technically free grace.

31:59.680 --> 32:05.680
But there's a lot of people that call themselves free grace that are heretics.

32:05.680 --> 32:10.680
For example, we would call them hypergracers in this church.

32:10.680 --> 32:15.680
Now again, they will believe in free grace. They'll believe in once saved always saved.

32:15.680 --> 32:21.680
But when you talk about other things in the Bible, it's like they're reading a different language.

32:21.680 --> 32:28.680
My first example of that is something called the Joannine view or the promise only view.

32:28.680 --> 32:30.680
That's going to be my first point of the sermon.

32:30.680 --> 32:33.680
And the title of the sermon is the free grace community.

32:33.680 --> 32:42.680
Now a lot of these people, I believe they're repeating the right gospel, but at the end of the day they don't really believe anything in the Bible.

32:42.680 --> 32:45.680
I'm going to prove to you this first point, the Joannine view.

32:45.680 --> 32:59.680
The Joannine view is a minimalist theological perspective which asserts that the sole and sufficient condition for receiving eternal life is to believe that Jesus Christ's specific promise that he guarantees everlasting life to the believer.

33:00.680 --> 33:03.680
Now you're probably thinking, yeah, I agree with that. I believe that too.

33:03.680 --> 33:08.680
I believe that too. But what they're saying is different from what you're thinking.

33:08.680 --> 33:17.680
In John chapter six verse forty seven, Jesus Christ said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

33:17.680 --> 33:21.680
So what I just read to you is they believe this literally.

33:21.680 --> 33:34.680
They believe if you just believe a person named Jesus gives everlasting life, no matter what you believe during that time or after that time, you're saved once you believe in this person named Jesus giving everlasting life.

33:34.680 --> 33:39.680
Another verse to use to justify this is at John twenty verse thirty at the end.

33:39.680 --> 33:45.680
It says, And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which were not written in this book.

33:45.680 --> 33:52.680
But these are written that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God, and that believing you might have life through his name.

33:52.680 --> 33:58.680
So according to that, they're saying that the book of John tells you how to get saved.

33:58.680 --> 34:06.680
Specifically, this is the only book in the Bible where it tells you flat out this was written so that you can get saved.

34:07.680 --> 34:15.680
So they take that hyperlisten hyper literal hyper literally and say that the other books that tell you how to get saved throw that in the trash.

34:15.680 --> 34:19.680
The only book that's going to tell you how to get saved is the book of John.

34:19.680 --> 34:28.680
If you don't understand what I'm saying, basically what I'm saying is they believe that someone could believe in just Jesus and they get everlasting life.

34:28.680 --> 34:30.680
But they don't have to believe that Jesus is God.

34:30.680 --> 34:31.680
They could reject that.

34:31.680 --> 34:33.680
They could reject the Trinity.

34:33.680 --> 34:35.680
They could reject that hell even exists.

34:35.680 --> 34:41.680
They could reject the gospel in general, the death, burial and resurrection, and they could just reject the Bible.

34:41.680 --> 34:42.680
They could reject the blood.

34:42.680 --> 34:49.680
They could literally reject literally anything in the Bible as long as they believe that this person named Jesus gives them everlasting life.

34:49.680 --> 34:50.680
You believe in that promise.

34:50.680 --> 34:52.680
Then you're saved in that moment.

34:52.680 --> 34:54.680
Turn to 2 Timothy chapter three.

34:55.680 --> 34:57.680
Second Timothy chapter three.

34:57.680 --> 35:11.680
They will say that it's work salvation for you to say that you have to believe that Jesus is God to be saved because they're saying that you're adding more theological barriers to somebody's mental assent to be saved.

35:11.680 --> 35:18.680
So if you believe in this church that you need to believe that Jesus Christ is God to be saved, they will say you're not saved because that's work salvation.

35:18.680 --> 35:20.680
You see how insane that sounds.

35:20.680 --> 35:22.680
Second Timothy chapter three.

35:22.680 --> 35:48.680
The Bible says, And that from a child that has known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make the wise and the salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus, all scripture, all scripture, not some, not most, all scriptures given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for proof, for correction, for instruction and righteousness that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all the world.

35:48.680 --> 35:54.680
So the Bible explains us that all scripture, the 66 books in the Bible are profitable for doctrine.

35:54.680 --> 36:00.680
So saying that you could only use the book of John to explain to somebody how to get saved is not true.

36:00.680 --> 36:04.680
You could explain from Genesis on teaching somebody how to get saved.

36:04.680 --> 36:06.680
Hell, even what's his name?

36:06.680 --> 36:07.680
Isaiah.

36:07.680 --> 36:13.680
Philip used Isaiah to get the Ethiopian the Ethiopian eunuch saved.

36:13.680 --> 36:14.680
He didn't use John.

36:14.680 --> 36:16.680
Turn to John chapter seven.

36:16.680 --> 36:18.680
I'm going to use some verse.

36:18.680 --> 36:28.680
Obviously, I couldn't use everything in John to prove this wrong, but I'm going to use some verses in John to go against what they're saying, which is that you can only get somebody saved by John six forty seven.

36:28.680 --> 36:32.680
Just believing in a person named Jesus that gives everlasting life.

36:32.680 --> 36:38.680
When they say you don't have to believe in the Bible to be saved, basically, you don't have to hear the word of God to be saved.

36:38.680 --> 36:40.680
You could just believe in the Bible.

36:40.680 --> 36:43.680
Basically, you don't have to hear the word of God to be saved.

36:43.680 --> 36:48.680
You could just look in the sky and then God could show you a cloud.

36:48.680 --> 36:53.680
And then the cloud is explaining to you that you just need to believe in this person named Jesus to give you everlasting life.

36:53.680 --> 36:58.680
John, John, chapter seven, you should be in John chapter seven, verse thirty eight.

36:58.680 --> 37:07.680
Jesus said, he that believeth on me, as the scripture have said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

37:07.680 --> 37:14.680
So according to Jesus, you have to believe in him according to what the Bible says that you have to believe about him.

37:14.680 --> 37:16.680
Turn to John chapter eight.

37:16.680 --> 37:21.680
Turn to John chapter eight.

37:21.680 --> 37:25.680
And this joining view, they say that you don't have to believe that Jesus Christ is God to go to heaven.

37:25.680 --> 37:32.680
You just have to believe that a person again, a person named Jesus gives you everlasting life the moment you believe in this person.

37:32.680 --> 37:36.680
And that Jesus could be a piece of bread, that Jesus could be a chair.

37:36.680 --> 37:37.680
He could be a Honda Civic.

37:37.680 --> 37:39.680
He could be literally anything you want to be.

37:39.680 --> 37:43.680
But just the name alone, if you believe in that name, you'll be saved.

37:43.680 --> 37:45.680
And that's an example of hypergress.

37:45.680 --> 37:49.680
You should be in John chapter eight, verse twenty four.

37:49.680 --> 37:55.680
Jesus Christ said, and I said therefore unto you that ye shall die in your sins.

37:55.680 --> 37:59.680
For if you believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

38:00.680 --> 38:06.680
Jesus Christ is saying if you do not believe that he that I am he, that you are going to go to hell pretty much.

38:06.680 --> 38:08.680
What does I am he mean?

38:08.680 --> 38:11.680
Turn to Isaiah chapter forty three.

38:11.680 --> 38:12.680
Again, this is John.

38:12.680 --> 38:13.680
I'm not going anywhere else.

38:13.680 --> 38:15.680
This is John.

38:15.680 --> 38:19.680
And they're saying that you can only use the book of John to explain to my how to get saved.

38:19.680 --> 38:25.680
Jesus said, if you don't believe I am he, you're going to split how wide open when you leave this earth.

38:25.680 --> 38:28.680
Unfortunately, Isaiah chapter forty three.

38:28.680 --> 38:29.680
You should be in Isaiah chapter forty three.

38:29.680 --> 38:33.680
The Bible says Isaiah chapter forty three, verse ten.

38:33.680 --> 38:43.680
The Bible says, ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord and my servant whom I have chosen, that ye may know and believe me and understand that I am he.

38:43.680 --> 38:48.680
Before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

38:48.680 --> 38:50.680
I even I am the Lord.

38:50.680 --> 38:53.680
Beside me there is no savior.

38:53.680 --> 39:00.680
So according to Isaiah chapter forty three, the person that's describing himself as I am he is the one God.

39:00.680 --> 39:02.680
Then there's no other God.

39:02.680 --> 39:08.680
So basically you have to believe that Jesus Christ is the only true God to be saved.

39:08.680 --> 39:12.680
And if you don't believe that, then it doesn't matter what else you believe after that.

39:12.680 --> 39:13.680
You're going to go to hell.

39:13.680 --> 39:21.680
For example, if somebody has the right gospel, they're like, yeah, Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day.

39:21.680 --> 39:23.680
Once you believe in him, you get everlasting life.

39:23.680 --> 39:25.680
You never lose your salvation.

39:25.680 --> 39:27.680
But then they think that's the motorist Jesus.

39:27.680 --> 39:29.680
That person is not believing in the right Jesus.

39:29.680 --> 39:31.680
And they're going to go to hell, unfortunately.

39:31.680 --> 39:38.680
Now, I couldn't find a verse in John where it said that you had to believe in hell or the Trinity to be saved.

39:38.680 --> 39:43.680
But just logically thinking the word saved, what does it mean?

39:43.680 --> 39:46.680
Saved means being saved from somewhere.

39:46.680 --> 39:48.680
And where are we trying to be saved from?

39:48.680 --> 39:54.680
We're not trying to be saved from, you know, obesity or like some illness or sickness.

39:54.680 --> 39:56.680
We're trying to be saved from hell.

39:56.680 --> 40:01.680
So if somebody says you don't have to believe in hell to be saved, then you're missing all purpose of salvation.

40:01.680 --> 40:05.680
You don't have the right salvation unless you're saved from hell.

40:05.680 --> 40:14.680
The whole part about the Trinity, again, the Trinity is what God is.

40:14.680 --> 40:17.680
That's what God reveals himself as in the Bible.

40:17.680 --> 40:22.680
If you disagree on what God is, then just common sense.

40:22.680 --> 40:24.680
I shouldn't even have to show you anything out of the Bible.

40:24.680 --> 40:27.680
If you don't believe in God, you're not saved, pretty much.

40:27.680 --> 40:30.680
I mean, I don't think I should show you a verse.

40:30.680 --> 40:33.680
Turn to 1 Corinthians, chapter 15.

40:33.680 --> 40:37.680
Now, the first time I heard someone say this was online,

40:37.680 --> 40:42.680
and they were basically debating with another person in the free grace community and saying,

40:42.680 --> 40:45.680
hey, I don't think you have to believe in the gospel to be saved.

40:45.680 --> 40:47.680
You only have to believe in Jesus.

40:47.680 --> 40:51.680
So basically somebody could deny the death, burial and resurrection,

40:51.680 --> 40:55.680
but just believe in a person named Jesus, which could be like a Mexican person

40:55.680 --> 40:57.680
because a lot of Spanish people name themselves Jesus.

40:57.680 --> 41:01.680
So if you just believe in this random person named Jesus, you'll be saved.

41:01.680 --> 41:06.680
Now, you should be in 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 14.

41:06.680 --> 41:11.680
The Bible makes it very clear that if you don't believe in the resurrection, you're not saved.

41:11.680 --> 41:19.680
The Bible says, and if Christ be not risen, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith is also vain.

41:19.680 --> 41:22.680
Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God,

41:22.680 --> 41:27.680
because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ, whom he raised not up,

41:27.680 --> 41:31.680
if so be that the dead rise not.

41:31.680 --> 41:34.680
For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised.

41:34.680 --> 41:37.680
And if Christ be not raised, your faith is in vain.

41:37.680 --> 41:39.680
You are yet in your sins.

41:39.680 --> 41:45.680
Translation, if you don't believe in the resurrection, you're in trouble.

41:45.680 --> 41:47.680
You're going to go to hell when you die.

41:47.680 --> 41:53.680
So that was my first point, debunking that, that you don't have to believe basically in anything in the Bible.

41:53.680 --> 41:56.680
You just have to believe in a person named Jesus that gives you everlasting life.

41:56.680 --> 41:58.680
Those people are technically free grace.

41:58.680 --> 42:00.680
They believe in one saved, always saved.

42:00.680 --> 42:05.680
They believe that salvation is holy by grace, but they don't believe the Bible, which is the problem.

42:05.680 --> 42:10.680
My next point is going to be the people that say you don't have to fear God.

42:10.680 --> 42:13.680
Turn to Leviticus chapter 25.

42:13.680 --> 42:16.680
Turn to Leviticus chapter 25.

42:16.680 --> 42:21.680
There are some people in this community that say, no, God is a peaceful God.

42:21.680 --> 42:23.680
He's happy.

42:23.680 --> 42:26.680
We don't need to fear him at all.

42:26.680 --> 42:29.680
But again, these people don't believe in the voice of the shepherd.

42:29.680 --> 42:33.680
Turn to, you should be in Leviticus chapter 25, verse 17.

42:33.680 --> 42:39.680
The Bible says, ye shall not therefore oppress one another, but thou shalt.

42:39.680 --> 42:42.680
Last time I checked, thou shalt is a commandment.

42:42.680 --> 42:48.680
Thou shalt fear thy God, for I am the Lord your God.

42:48.680 --> 42:54.680
Now, fearing God, obviously fearing God means to respect God and give him reverence.

42:54.680 --> 42:59.680
But it also means to actually be afraid of God.

43:00.680 --> 43:06.680
In Psalm chapter 2, it says, serve the Lord with fear and trembling.

43:06.680 --> 43:08.680
So you're not trembling because you're cold.

43:08.680 --> 43:14.680
You're trembling because you're afraid of what God could do to your life and the people around you.

43:14.680 --> 43:16.680
Now, how do we fear God?

43:16.680 --> 43:24.680
Leviticus 25, verse 18, next verse says, wherefore ye shall do my statutes and keep my judgment and do them,

43:24.680 --> 43:27.680
and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

43:27.680 --> 43:32.680
So fearing God is basically just listening to God because if you don't listen to him,

43:32.680 --> 43:35.680
then you're in trouble pretty much, just like your parents.

43:35.680 --> 43:37.680
Your parents tell you to take out the garbage.

43:37.680 --> 43:40.680
If somebody doesn't care about their parents or they're not scared of them,

43:40.680 --> 43:44.680
they're probably not going to take out the garbage because it's like you're not going to do anything to me anyway.

43:44.680 --> 43:46.680
What am I doing this for?

43:46.680 --> 43:51.680
But if you're scared of your parents, you're going to take out that trash as soon as they tell you to take it out.

43:51.680 --> 43:55.680
Even if you're doing something really important in the process, you're going to take out that trash.

43:55.680 --> 43:59.680
And that's how it should be in households today.

43:59.680 --> 44:03.680
I'm going to read for you Psalm 33, verse 8.

44:03.680 --> 44:10.680
The Bible says, let all the earth fear the Lord, let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

44:10.680 --> 44:16.680
Psalm chapter 19, verse 9, the Bible says, the fear of the Lord is clean and enduring forever.

44:16.680 --> 44:20.680
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

44:20.680 --> 44:26.680
Now, they might say a free grace person, hyper grace person in the free grace community might say,

44:26.680 --> 44:28.680
oh, that was in the Old Testament.

44:28.680 --> 44:31.680
The Old Testament, the Jews were told to fear God.

44:31.680 --> 44:35.680
But, you know, we as New Testament believers, we don't have to fear God anymore.

44:35.680 --> 44:42.680
We don't have to be scared of him because Jesus came and, you know, he made everything happy and sunshine and rainbows.

44:42.680 --> 44:47.680
In 1 Peter chapter 2, which last time I checked, that's in the New Testament,

44:47.680 --> 44:50.680
it's so in the New Testament that's in the back of the New Testament.

44:50.680 --> 44:59.680
It says, 1 Peter chapter 2, verse 17, says, honor all men, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.

44:59.680 --> 45:06.680
So according to the New Testament, you're still supposed to fear God, just like you were supposed to fear God in the Old Testament.

45:06.680 --> 45:14.680
Now, one day I was soul winning and I met a lady and she, I asked her, you know, the questions about salvation.

45:14.680 --> 45:20.680
And she had the right gospel and she believed that someone couldn't lose their salvation.

45:20.680 --> 45:24.680
And I don't know how the conversation got turned into what I'm about to say,

45:24.680 --> 45:28.680
but somehow we started talking about corporal punishment on children.

45:28.680 --> 45:34.680
And she told me that if you spank, if you touch your kid physically for any reason, that's abusive.

45:34.680 --> 45:38.680
That's child abuse. That's ungodly. That's satanic.

45:38.680 --> 45:43.680
She was using very strong language talking about corporal punishment.

45:43.680 --> 45:48.680
So then I showed her this verse, turn to Proverbs chapter 23.

45:48.680 --> 45:52.680
Proverbs chapter 23, I showed her this verse.

45:52.680 --> 45:59.680
Proverbs chapter 23, verse 13.

45:59.680 --> 46:06.680
Proverbs chapter 23, verse 13, the Bible says, withhold not correction from the child,

46:06.680 --> 46:10.680
for thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

46:10.680 --> 46:18.680
Again, remember that thou shalt, thou shalt beat him with the rod and shall deliver his soul from hell.

46:18.680 --> 46:22.680
I showed this lady this verse and in my mind I'm like, all right, I got it.

46:22.680 --> 46:25.680
She can't go anywhere. She's on the ropes.

46:25.680 --> 46:28.680
There's no way she's going to disagree with this verse.

46:28.680 --> 46:32.680
This lady started playing Hebrew hopscotch with me and said,

46:32.680 --> 46:37.680
in the Hebrew beat means something else that doesn't mean beat in English.

46:37.680 --> 46:43.680
And I don't remember what she said, but the way she explained it sounded really insane.

46:43.680 --> 46:48.680
Pretty much the King James translator, first of all she didn't like King James, obviously.

46:48.680 --> 46:53.680
But the King James translator, she said when they translated it as beat, they were wrong

46:53.680 --> 46:56.680
because the Hebrew word for beat is something else.

46:56.680 --> 46:59.680
Maybe like beat meant put them in timeout. I don't know.

46:59.680 --> 47:04.680
But she was pretty adamant on the fact that, you know, if you touch your kids, that's satanic.

47:04.680 --> 47:10.680
But I'm showing her, well, the Bible says, you know, you're commanded to spank your children.

47:10.680 --> 47:19.680
And the Bible also says that God chastens us just like our father and our mother chastened us.

47:19.680 --> 47:23.680
Turn to Proverbs chapter 3. Turn to Proverbs chapter 3.

47:23.680 --> 47:29.680
And again, a lot of these free-gracers, what they'll do, they'll separate the New Testament from the Old Testament,

47:30.680 --> 47:34.680
what you're supposed to do, but they'll say, oh, that was only in the Old Testament.

47:34.680 --> 47:37.680
We don't have to do that anymore. We're under grace now.

47:37.680 --> 47:39.680
So this is how we're supposed to do things.

47:39.680 --> 47:43.680
So some of them will say back in the Old Testament you were supposed to beat your kids,

47:43.680 --> 47:47.680
but in the New Testament it's a bad thing.

47:47.680 --> 47:51.680
Or that Jesus Christ basically changed the law and you don't have to do that.

47:51.680 --> 47:54.680
In Revelation 3.19, Jesus says,

48:01.680 --> 48:04.680
The word chasten pretty much means to discipline.

48:04.680 --> 48:10.680
Now, obviously, you know, Jesus Christ is not coming down here with a leather belt and hitting you across the head.

48:10.680 --> 48:15.680
This is metaphorical, but it's metaphorical for actual discipline.

48:15.680 --> 48:23.680
So he might do something really bad in your life to cause you harm and hopes to get you in the right direction.

48:23.680 --> 48:27.680
So no, Jesus Christ didn't like change the Old Testament.

48:27.680 --> 48:30.680
Jesus Christ was in the Old Testament.

48:30.680 --> 48:33.680
He was the God of the Hebrews in the Old Testament.

48:33.680 --> 48:35.680
You should be in Proverbs chapter 3.

48:35.680 --> 48:39.680
Proverbs chapter 3, verse 11, the Bible says,

48:45.680 --> 48:49.680
Now, it kind of seems odd when you first read it is like, you know, I'm in sin.

48:49.680 --> 48:53.680
God's destroying my life, but I'm supposed to like this somehow.

48:53.680 --> 48:59.680
I'm supposed to be blessed and just be happy that God is tearing me apart.

48:59.680 --> 49:00.680
But yeah, that's what the Bible says.

49:00.680 --> 49:02.680
I'm going to tell you why after.

49:02.680 --> 49:04.680
But look at verse 12.

49:04.680 --> 49:05.680
The Bible says,

49:05.680 --> 49:16.680
So the reason why God is dealing with you in that way is because he's showing his love for you.

49:16.680 --> 49:18.680
That's how he shows his love for you.

49:18.680 --> 49:23.680
So if God's not dealing with you in that way, that means God doesn't love you.

49:23.680 --> 49:29.680
If you know you're living in a bunch of sin and nothing's happening to you.

49:29.680 --> 49:34.680
Like one day I heard a preacher say, yeah, I was living in sin a lot and God didn't do anything to me.

49:34.680 --> 49:40.680
It's like you might want to examine yourselves whether you're in the faith.

49:40.680 --> 49:46.680
In verse of Psalm chapter 94, Psalm chapter 94, turn to turn to Hebrews 12,

49:46.680 --> 49:50.680
Psalm chapter number four, verse 12, the Bible says,

49:50.680 --> 49:56.680
Blessed is the man whom thou chasteneth, O Lord, and teaches him out of thy law.

49:56.680 --> 49:59.680
So, you know, you're blessed if God is in a weird way.

49:59.680 --> 50:07.680
I know it sounds weird, but the Bible is saying that if God is spanking you and chasing you and rebuking you, you should be blessed.

50:07.680 --> 50:12.680
That's a good thing that God cares enough about you to do these things to you.

50:12.680 --> 50:19.680
Now, the reason why God does this is in Hebrews 12, Hebrews 12, verse six.

50:19.680 --> 50:24.680
And by the way, with this lady, another point I brought up was in Hebrews six.

50:24.680 --> 50:34.680
I was like, ma'am, if spanking your child is abusive and satanic and wicked and evil and it's unbiblical,

50:34.680 --> 50:38.680
why does God relate to that situation?

50:38.680 --> 50:41.680
Like, why is God saying he does the same thing that your father did to you?

50:41.680 --> 50:50.680
Like, basically, it's kind of blasphemous because then you would be saying God is satanic by saying that spanking is satanic in a way.

50:50.680 --> 50:53.680
You should be in Hebrews 12, verse six.

50:53.680 --> 50:59.680
Hebrews 12, it says, For whom the Lord loveth, he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

50:59.680 --> 51:04.680
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons.

51:04.680 --> 51:09.680
For what son is he whom the Father chasteneth not?

51:09.680 --> 51:13.680
Verse eight, this is why you should be glad of chastisement.

51:13.680 --> 51:20.680
But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then ye are bastards and not sons.

51:20.680 --> 51:28.680
So if you are just living in gross, wicked, vile sin, and you're just clear and nothing's happening to you,

51:28.680 --> 51:32.680
you might be a bastard, according to Hebrews 12.

51:32.680 --> 51:38.680
And yeah, after the lady, after I showed her this verse and she just still didn't believe it,

51:38.680 --> 51:42.680
I just walked away because I was just, I was done with it at that point.

51:42.680 --> 51:49.680
Next, my next point, my first point was about the joining, comma, the joining view,

51:49.680 --> 51:53.680
which is that just believe in a person named Jesus, he gives you everlasting life.

51:53.680 --> 51:58.680
Second point was on people that say you don't have to fear God, he's never going to touch you, he's never going to spank you.

51:58.680 --> 52:02.680
Third point is going to be on something that I think all of us have heard in this room.

52:02.680 --> 52:05.680
Turn to John chapter one.

52:05.680 --> 52:08.680
John chapter one.

52:08.680 --> 52:11.680
My third point is called no standards.

52:11.680 --> 52:15.680
People that have no standards in their life.

52:15.680 --> 52:20.680
John chapter one, verse 17, the Bible, this is, they love quoting this verse.

52:20.680 --> 52:28.680
John chapter one, verse 17, for the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

52:28.680 --> 52:36.680
So translation in their mind, that means in the Old Testament, God was really restrictive and he had a bunch of rules.

52:36.680 --> 52:40.680
But then in the New Testament, we could do whatever we want.

52:40.680 --> 52:44.680
Turn to Romans chapter, Romans chapter six.

52:44.680 --> 52:54.680
Pretty much these people, when you mention a sin, like if you mention something wrong they're doing, their logic is, oh, well since, you know, we're under grace,

52:54.680 --> 53:03.680
we're in the New Testament, I could just live with my girlfriend, I could smoke weed, I could just do whatever I want because we're under grace and Jesus loves me.

53:03.680 --> 53:05.680
So, you know, nothing's going to happen.

53:05.680 --> 53:07.680
Now, if we were under the Old Testament, I couldn't do that.

53:07.680 --> 53:15.680
But in their sick and twisted mind, they pretty much think Jesus dying on the cross allowed sin to happen in a weird way.

53:15.680 --> 53:28.680
It should be in Romans chapter six, verse 14, the Bible says, for sin shall not have demean over you, for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

53:28.680 --> 53:30.680
Which, yeah, that's true.

53:30.680 --> 53:37.680
You know, the law, the point of the law is it's supposed to draw us to Christ to show that we're sinners.

53:37.680 --> 53:44.680
So at first, when we're trying to get to heaven by works, we're under the law, which is not going to work for anybody because we're not perfect.

53:44.680 --> 53:47.680
But then once we get into grace, we're not under the law anymore.

53:47.680 --> 53:51.680
We're under grace, salvation wise.

53:51.680 --> 53:55.680
But look at verse 14, the Bible says, what then?

53:55.680 --> 54:00.680
Shall we sin because we are not under the law, but under grace?

54:00.680 --> 54:02.680
God forbid.

54:02.680 --> 54:04.680
So this verse just debunked.

54:04.680 --> 54:08.680
It's crazy because they use verse 14 to say, hey, we're not under the law anymore.

54:08.680 --> 54:14.680
I could do whatever I want, stop judging me about, you know, having my girlfriend just live with me.

54:14.680 --> 54:19.680
But then in verse 15, it says, shall we sin because we're not under the law, but under grace?

54:19.680 --> 54:20.680
God forbid.

54:21.680 --> 54:30.680
So that's hopefully you're getting what I'm putting together is they believe in free grace, but they don't believe anything else in the Bible.

54:30.680 --> 54:37.680
Turn to Romans chapter three, turn to Romans chapter three, verse 31.

54:37.680 --> 54:39.680
And then they'll blame Jesus for this.

54:39.680 --> 54:43.680
Somehow they'll say, oh, well, we could do whatever we want now because Jesus came.

54:43.680 --> 54:49.680
But Jesus Christ said in Matthew chapter five, verse 17, think not.

54:49.680 --> 54:51.680
Isn't it crazy? Two thousand years ago, he said, think not.

54:51.680 --> 54:53.680
And people are thinking the exact same thing.

54:53.680 --> 54:55.680
He told you not to think.

54:55.680 --> 55:00.680
Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets.

55:00.680 --> 55:03.680
I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

55:03.680 --> 55:10.680
Jesus Christ did not come to get rid of all the moral laws so that people could dress however they want.

55:10.680 --> 55:13.680
They could just have these tattoos on their body.

55:13.680 --> 55:15.680
They could literally do anything they want.

55:15.680 --> 55:23.680
Jesus came to fulfill the law, which means to complete what God has commanded him to do his work on this earth.

55:23.680 --> 55:26.680
You should be in Romans chapter three, verse 31.

55:26.680 --> 55:31.680
The Bible says, do we then make void the law through faith?

55:31.680 --> 55:33.680
God forbid.

55:33.680 --> 55:35.680
Yay, we established the law.

55:35.680 --> 55:41.680
So according to Paul, even though we're not under the law, we're under grace, we still established the law.

55:41.680 --> 55:43.680
We're still supposed to stand on the law.

55:43.680 --> 55:45.680
Now, let me say this.

55:45.680 --> 55:47.680
They are right in a sense.

55:47.680 --> 55:49.680
There are some laws that are done away with.

55:49.680 --> 55:56.680
For example, the Sabbath days and the sacrifices, the eating.

55:56.680 --> 56:00.680
You could eat whatever you want now.

56:00.680 --> 56:04.680
But they will say the moral laws basically were done away.

56:04.680 --> 56:05.680
Certain moral laws.

56:05.680 --> 56:12.680
They'll still think murder and adultery, some of them, they'll still think that's wrong.

56:12.680 --> 56:16.680
But all the sins that they're dealing with are okay because they're under grace.

56:16.680 --> 56:22.680
Now, a lot of these Hebrew roots people, Hebrew Israelites people, the people, Torah observers,

56:22.680 --> 56:28.680
they'll say that we're hypocrites because we'll say some of the laws are done away with.

56:28.680 --> 56:31.680
But we're only obeying the New Testament.

56:31.680 --> 56:33.680
Turn to Colossians chapter two, verse 16.

56:33.680 --> 56:36.680
I'm going to read for you Hebrews nine, verse 10.

56:36.680 --> 56:42.680
The Bible says, which only stood in meats and drinks and divers washings and carnal ordinances

56:42.680 --> 56:46.680
and posed on them until the time of Reformation.

56:46.680 --> 56:53.680
The reason why the people in the Old Testament did all those laws was because they were under the Old Testament.

56:53.680 --> 56:56.680
But once we got under the New Testament, all that stuff changed.

56:56.680 --> 56:58.680
And that's what the Bible says.

56:58.680 --> 56:59.680
I didn't make this up.

56:59.680 --> 57:01.680
Colossians chapter two, verse 16.

57:01.680 --> 57:08.680
It says, let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink or in respect of a holy day or of a new moon

57:08.680 --> 57:14.680
or of the Sabbath days, which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ.

57:14.680 --> 57:19.680
These two verses prove that some things were done away with because back in the Old Testament,

57:19.680 --> 57:21.680
you could judge somebody for eating pork.

57:21.680 --> 57:24.680
If your brother was eating pork, he got to go.

57:24.680 --> 57:26.680
You can't eat pork in the Old Testament.

57:26.680 --> 57:32.680
But in the New Testament, you're not supposed to judge anybody for eating pork.

57:32.680 --> 57:37.680
So they're right in one sense, but they're wrong in a lot of other senses.

57:37.680 --> 57:42.680
Another thing they'll say is that don't worry about doing works.

57:42.680 --> 57:43.680
That's legalistic.

57:43.680 --> 57:46.680
We all get the same rewards when we go to heaven.

57:46.680 --> 57:49.680
Turn to Hebrews chapter six.

57:49.680 --> 57:55.680
I heard one pastor say, hey, guys, don't worry about going soul winning.

57:55.680 --> 57:57.680
For the people who don't go soul winning, don't worry.

57:57.680 --> 58:01.680
You're going to get the same rewards as somebody who does go soul winning.

58:01.680 --> 58:02.680
How does that make any sense?

58:02.680 --> 58:05.680
If somebody is sitting on their butt and they never go soul winning,

58:05.680 --> 58:10.680
how in the world are they going to get the same results or rewards that I'm getting?

58:10.680 --> 58:13.680
That's not fair at all.

58:13.680 --> 58:15.680
And 1 Corinthians chapter three, verse eight.

58:15.680 --> 58:20.680
The Bible says, now he that planteth and he that watereth are one,

58:20.680 --> 58:26.680
and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

58:26.680 --> 58:30.680
So everyone's going to get rewarded based on the work they've done.

58:30.680 --> 58:37.680
It's not going to be like a pool of communism where everybody just gets the same exact thing.

58:37.680 --> 58:40.680
Everybody's going to get what they work for.

58:40.680 --> 58:43.680
And Hebrews chapter six, verse 10.

58:43.680 --> 58:44.680
Hebrews chapter six, verse 10.

58:44.680 --> 58:50.680
The Bible says, for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love.

58:50.680 --> 58:51.680
This is what I mean.

58:51.680 --> 58:55.680
They'll say they believe in free grace, but then they won't believe in the Bible.

58:55.680 --> 58:58.680
And the way they don't believe in the Bible is blasphemous

58:58.680 --> 59:03.680
because if you're saying God doesn't give us rewards, what you're saying is God is unrighteous.

59:03.680 --> 59:08.680
Because this verse says, for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love.

59:08.680 --> 59:11.680
But they believe God forgets all your work and your labor of love,

59:11.680 --> 59:17.680
and it just gets mixed into a pot of everything that everybody has done.

59:17.680 --> 59:23.680
Now, my fourth point is going to be the flat out denial of the reprobate doctrine.

59:23.680 --> 59:28.680
Now, obviously, even the old IFB disagrees with our interpretation,

59:28.680 --> 59:36.680
our correct interpretation of Romans one and other verses like in Jude and in 2 Peter.

59:36.680 --> 59:40.680
They could find something to twist in that,

59:40.680 --> 59:47.680
but there's some things in the Bible where I would just think it's impossible for somebody to just not understand.

59:47.680 --> 59:52.680
And these free grace people, they don't believe in the reprobate doctrine at all.

59:52.680 --> 59:56.680
For example, your man, John MacArthur, may he rest in hell.

59:56.680 --> 01:00:01.680
He said that somebody could take the mark of the beast and still be saved.

01:00:01.680 --> 01:00:04.680
Now, obviously, he's not hyper-graced. He's like super works.

01:00:05.680 --> 01:00:08.680
I think he started Lordship Salvation, if I'm not mistaken.

01:00:08.680 --> 01:00:10.680
So he's not hyper-graced. He's not in the free grace community.

01:00:10.680 --> 01:00:14.680
But that is something that some people in the free grace community believe,

01:00:14.680 --> 01:00:19.680
that you could do literally anything that the Bible says you can't do, and you're still saved no matter what.

01:00:19.680 --> 01:00:22.680
My first example is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

01:00:22.680 --> 01:00:26.680
Turn to Matthew chapter 12.

01:00:27.680 --> 01:00:31.680
Matthew chapter 12, verse 31.

01:00:36.680 --> 01:00:43.680
Look, if anybody has just half of a brain cell and they understand English to some extent,

01:00:43.680 --> 01:00:47.680
I don't understand how they're not understanding what I'm about to read to you.

01:00:47.680 --> 01:00:49.680
Matthew chapter 12, verse 31.

01:00:56.680 --> 01:01:00.680
If that's not clear enough for you, let's look at the next verse.

01:01:19.680 --> 01:01:24.680
How in the world could somebody twist this to mean what it's not saying?

01:01:24.680 --> 01:01:27.680
Jesus is saying if you blaspheme the Holy Ghost, you're done.

01:01:27.680 --> 01:01:32.680
You have no more chances to be saved, which would qualify you as a reprobate.

01:01:32.680 --> 01:01:36.680
And I believe even the Old Ivy, even though they disagree with Romans 1,

01:01:36.680 --> 01:01:41.680
they believe in this. They believe that if somebody blasphemes the Holy Ghost, they're done.

01:01:41.680 --> 01:01:43.680
Because that's just the plain reading in the text.

01:01:43.680 --> 01:01:47.680
Neither in this world, this current globe that we're in right now,

01:01:47.680 --> 01:01:50.680
neither in the second world to come.

01:01:50.680 --> 01:01:52.680
Turn to Revelation 14.

01:01:53.680 --> 01:01:56.680
The next thing is they deny the Mark of the Beast.

01:01:58.680 --> 01:02:02.680
Mark of the Beast. They believe that if somebody takes the Mark of the Beast,

01:02:02.680 --> 01:02:04.680
they still have a chance.

01:02:04.680 --> 01:02:07.680
What this is called actually is the last breath doctrine.

01:02:07.680 --> 01:02:12.680
That you could be saved up until your last and dying breath.

01:02:12.680 --> 01:02:17.680
But the Bible is really clear there could be some things that disqualify you from ever getting saved.

01:02:17.680 --> 01:02:20.680
Now a saved person would never do these things.

01:02:20.680 --> 01:02:23.680
A saved person is never going to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

01:02:23.680 --> 01:02:26.680
A saved person is never going to take the Mark of the Beast.

01:02:26.680 --> 01:02:32.680
But an unsaved person, if they do these things, they basically sign their ticket to go to hell.

01:02:32.680 --> 01:02:35.680
And there's nothing they could do after that.

01:02:35.680 --> 01:02:38.680
Revelation 14, verse 9, the Bible says,

01:02:50.680 --> 01:03:16.680
Translation, if you take the Mark of the Beast, you're going to go to hell.

01:03:16.680 --> 01:03:18.680
And that's what the Bible's saying.

01:03:18.680 --> 01:03:23.680
And if somebody doesn't believe this, I don't know if the Holy Spirit's not working.

01:03:23.680 --> 01:03:27.680
Because the Bible says the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth.

01:03:27.680 --> 01:03:31.680
So I don't know if it's lax on their part. I don't know.

01:03:31.680 --> 01:03:36.680
But still, the Bible says that if you take the Mark of the Beast, you're going to go to hell.

01:03:36.680 --> 01:03:39.680
Turn to Revelation chapter 22.

01:03:39.680 --> 01:03:45.680
They believe even if somebody changes the Word of God, that they're still going to go to heaven.

01:03:45.680 --> 01:03:48.680
Because you have up until your last dying breath.

01:03:48.680 --> 01:03:54.680
And you can see how the things they believe just turn the Bible on its head.

01:03:54.680 --> 01:03:56.680
Like it's a different language.

01:03:56.680 --> 01:04:04.680
Like the Bible clearly spells something out, and then they disagree with that to go after their own feelings and opinions, trash opinions.

01:04:04.680 --> 01:04:10.680
You should be in Revelation 22, verse 18.

01:04:10.680 --> 01:04:12.680
The Bible says,

01:04:12.680 --> 01:04:17.680
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book,

01:04:17.680 --> 01:04:25.680
If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.

01:04:25.680 --> 01:04:32.680
And if any man shall take away from the words of the prophecy of this, I'm sorry, from the words of the book of this prophecy,

01:04:32.680 --> 01:04:39.680
God shall take away his part out of the book of life, out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

01:04:39.680 --> 01:04:42.680
Technically the context is talking about Revelation.

01:04:42.680 --> 01:04:47.680
If you take something out of Revelation, or if you add something to Revelation, then you're cooked.

01:04:47.680 --> 01:04:48.680
You're going to go to hell.

01:04:48.680 --> 01:04:53.680
But logically, if God, think about it, if God doesn't want you to take anything out of Revelation,

01:04:53.680 --> 01:04:55.680
do you think he wants you to take anything out of Proverbs?

01:04:55.680 --> 01:04:58.680
Do you think he wants you to take anything out of Deuteronomy, out of Genesis?

01:04:58.680 --> 01:05:02.680
Which is what these modern Bible perverters do.

01:05:02.680 --> 01:05:05.680
They add stuff and they take stuff out of the Bible.

01:05:05.680 --> 01:05:10.680
So if somebody were to be on that committee to change the words of God,

01:05:10.680 --> 01:05:16.680
then they're not saved forever according to Revelation chapter 22.

01:05:16.680 --> 01:05:22.680
Now lastly, my last point is going to be on the anti-callers.

01:05:22.680 --> 01:05:28.680
Now I know we've heard people that say, you know, going to heaven is just by faith alone, amen.

01:05:28.680 --> 01:05:32.680
Going that once you put your faith alone in Christ, you're saved forever.

01:05:32.680 --> 01:05:34.680
But calling is a work.

01:05:34.680 --> 01:05:36.680
You don't have to call upon the name of the Lord.

01:05:36.680 --> 01:05:40.680
That's work salvation if somebody was to teach this.

01:05:40.680 --> 01:05:43.680
And there's some people that say it's not, one thing is weird,

01:05:43.680 --> 01:05:46.680
there's some people that say that it's not works, but it's still not needed.

01:05:46.680 --> 01:05:50.680
But the thing about calling upon the name of the Lord, turn to Romans chapter 10.

01:05:50.680 --> 01:05:55.680
I just want to, you know, finish this for the last time because it, you know,

01:05:55.680 --> 01:06:00.680
this is probably the clearest thing, I don't think God could have been clear in explaining

01:06:00.680 --> 01:06:05.680
that calling upon the name of the Lord is a part of salvation then in Romans 10.

01:06:05.680 --> 01:06:10.680
Like I was saying, some of these people say it's not works, but you still don't have to do it.

01:06:10.680 --> 01:06:14.680
But I would say that if somebody didn't call upon the name of the Lord,

01:06:14.680 --> 01:06:19.680
that means they didn't get saved because this is what Romans 10 says.

01:06:19.680 --> 01:06:24.680
And these are people, you might know them like Norm Diamante, Sermon Trailers,

01:06:25.680 --> 01:06:29.680
Jack Smacks, that dude who used to play Killer Instinct on YouTube

01:06:29.680 --> 01:06:32.680
and just sit there and eat hot Cheetos in his apartment,

01:06:32.680 --> 01:06:35.680
just teaching a whole bunch of blasphemous doctrine,

01:06:35.680 --> 01:06:37.680
which is that you don't have to call upon the name of the Lord

01:06:37.680 --> 01:06:41.680
if you say you have to call upon the name of the Lord, you're a works-based salvationist.

01:06:41.680 --> 01:06:45.680
So let's, you know, bury this hatchet once and for all.

01:06:45.680 --> 01:06:50.680
A lot of them will say in Romans chapter 10 that when it says confessions made in the salvation,

01:06:50.680 --> 01:06:54.680
that's about physical salvation, like the rapture or something.

01:06:54.680 --> 01:06:59.680
Let's see with an unbiased mind if this is about physical salvation.

01:06:59.680 --> 01:07:02.680
Romans chapter 10, verse 1.

01:07:02.680 --> 01:07:09.680
Brethren, my host's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved.

01:07:09.680 --> 01:07:15.680
Okay, let's, alright, unbiased. It's either physical or spiritual. Let's see.

01:07:15.680 --> 01:07:16.680
Verse 2.

01:07:16.680 --> 01:07:21.680
For I bear them record that they have the zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

01:07:21.680 --> 01:07:27.680
For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness,

01:07:27.680 --> 01:07:31.680
have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

01:07:31.680 --> 01:07:37.680
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.

01:07:37.680 --> 01:07:45.680
So according to everything I just read, are you getting on the spiritual side or the physical side?

01:07:45.680 --> 01:07:51.680
I think it's pretty clear, especially with the context of Romans, that this is talking about spiritual salvation

01:07:51.680 --> 01:07:57.680
because if it was talking about physical salvation, what would them, understanding their own righteousness

01:07:57.680 --> 01:08:00.680
or God's righteousness have to do with being physically saved?

01:08:00.680 --> 01:08:04.680
God physically saves people that aren't saved spiritually all the time.

01:08:04.680 --> 01:08:08.680
You ever go to the door and then you'll say, hey, so how do you know you're going to go to heaven?

01:08:08.680 --> 01:08:13.680
And they say, I know I'm going to go to heaven because I got shot ten times and I'm still here.

01:08:13.680 --> 01:08:18.680
So God physically saved them because normally when you get shot ten times, you're going to die.

01:08:18.680 --> 01:08:23.680
But God obviously physically saved them, I guess, in hopes for them to get saved later.

01:08:23.680 --> 01:08:28.680
There was one old lady I was talking to. She believed that you could lose your salvation.

01:08:28.680 --> 01:08:36.680
So I showed her according to 1 John chapter 5, where the Bible says basically if you don't believe in the record of God,

01:08:36.680 --> 01:08:39.680
that you're calling God a liar. And in Revelation 21 verse 8, it says,

01:08:39.680 --> 01:08:50.680
And she got really upset at me because I told her that, you know, if you believe that you could lose your salvation, you're not saved.

01:08:50.680 --> 01:08:55.680
And then instead of proving from the Bible that you can lose your salvation, what she said was,

01:08:55.680 --> 01:09:04.680
well, I know that I'm saved no matter what I believe because I had a heart attack and, you know, I was in the hospital for 30 days.

01:09:04.680 --> 01:09:12.680
And I'm like, ma'am, stop, stop. I'm glad you're still here, but I didn't have a heart attack. So that doesn't prove I'm not saved.

01:09:12.680 --> 01:09:18.680
You have to prove from the Bible that, you know, if you lose your salvation, if you believe you can lose your salvation, that you're still saved.

01:09:18.680 --> 01:09:25.680
You having a heart attack and surviving has nothing to do with anything because there are millions of people that never had heart attacks that are saved.

01:09:25.680 --> 01:09:32.680
And there's millions of people that have heart attacks and are not saved. So that doesn't prove anything.

01:09:32.680 --> 01:09:43.680
So back to my point in Romans 10, 10, 1 to 5, it proves that this salvation is spiritual. It's not physical at all.

01:09:43.680 --> 01:09:48.680
Now, let's go to verse 9, the most controversial verse. Verse 9.

01:09:48.680 --> 01:10:03.680
That if thou shalt, we got to go through this slow because some people don't get this, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus.

01:10:03.680 --> 01:10:08.680
So that's that could be audible. That could be saying something in your head. But something has to be said.

01:10:08.680 --> 01:10:17.680
It's a confession. It's calling. And shall believe in thine heart that God have raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.

01:10:17.680 --> 01:10:27.680
So this verse is not adding something on to believe, which would be work salvation, because obviously the only thing you got to do to go to heaven is to believe in Jesus Christ.

01:10:27.680 --> 01:10:35.680
But in that belief, your belief is not complete unless you repent, meaning changing your mind.

01:10:36.680 --> 01:10:42.680
For example, if somebody says, well, I believe in Jesus, but I never changed my mind. That means like, were you born saved?

01:10:42.680 --> 01:10:50.680
Because that's impossible. You had to change your mind to believe and to complete your belief, you have to call upon the name of the Lord.

01:10:50.680 --> 01:11:01.680
I'm about to show you that right now. Verse 10 says, for with the heart man believeth under righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

01:11:02.680 --> 01:11:09.680
So this isn't talking about in steps. It's not saying you believe first and get the righteousness and then you call and get the salvation.

01:11:09.680 --> 01:11:18.680
This is happening at the same time. And the reason it's happening at the same time is because that first word in verse 10, it says for.

01:11:18.680 --> 01:11:26.680
So verse nine says that thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in thy heart that God have raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.

01:11:26.680 --> 01:11:35.680
For or because, this verse is explaining why you will be saved. It's not saying, yeah, you believe and get the righteousness and then once you call you get the salvation.

01:11:35.680 --> 01:11:43.680
Once you believe, you get the righteousness and salvation and your belief is only complete once you make that confession with your mouth.

01:11:43.680 --> 01:11:55.680
So God could have flipped this anyway. And I feel like these heretics, even if God said, for with the heart man confesseth under righteousness and with the heart man believeth unto salvation,

01:11:55.680 --> 01:12:05.680
they still would have twisted it somehow because the way they explain this away is saying, oh, confess with the mouth is physical, but believe unto righteousness is spiritual.

01:12:05.680 --> 01:12:15.680
So they're basically Bible perverts. Now they'll say, well, in Act 1630 and in the whole book of John, it says all you got to do to get everlasting life and to be saved is believe.

01:12:15.680 --> 01:12:24.680
And I agree with that. But you can't use that alone to say you don't have to call upon the name of the Lord because in verse 13, I remember in second Timothy three,

01:12:24.680 --> 01:12:33.680
says all scripture is profitable for a doctrine. It says in verse 13, it says for whosoever shall call upon the Lord shall be saved.

01:12:33.680 --> 01:12:38.680
So how stupid would it be for me to say, oh, all you got to do to go to heaven is call upon the name of the Lord.

01:12:38.680 --> 01:12:44.680
You don't have to believe or repent. Right. That would be silly. But in this verse, it says all you have to do is call.

01:12:44.680 --> 01:12:50.680
But you have to believe in the Bible to be saved, not one verse, not a part of one verse.

01:12:50.680 --> 01:13:01.680
You have to believe in the entire scripture to be saved. And even in Romans 10, 13, Paul calls upon the name of the Lord, the gospel.

01:13:01.680 --> 01:13:07.680
Romans 10 verse 15 says, and how shall they preach except they be sent as it is written,

01:13:07.680 --> 01:13:14.680
how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things.

01:13:14.680 --> 01:13:22.680
So if your gospel is called upon the name of the Lordless, that means you have the wrong gospel because according to Paul in verse 15,

01:13:22.680 --> 01:13:28.680
that progression of getting somebody saved is a part of the gospel.

01:13:28.680 --> 01:13:36.680
So now that we got that out the way, I wanted to prove that even Jesus, because some people, again, these hypergraced people are insane.

01:13:36.680 --> 01:13:41.680
So they'll say, oh, that was Paul's opinion. But I'm going to stick with Jesus.

01:13:41.680 --> 01:13:48.680
In terms of Luke chapter 18, and please explain this away.

01:13:48.680 --> 01:13:54.680
I dare you. Luke chapter 18, Luke chapter 18 verse 9.

01:13:54.680 --> 01:14:00.680
A lot of these hypergraced, free grace people believe that Paul and Jesus are pitted against each other.

01:14:00.680 --> 01:14:09.680
But in our actuality, Paul and Jesus agree with each other because Paul had the Holy Spirit.

01:14:09.680 --> 01:14:13.680
Luke chapter 18 verse 9, Jesus says a parable.

01:14:13.680 --> 01:14:23.680
The Bible says in Luke chapter 18 verse 9, and he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous and despised others.

01:14:23.680 --> 01:14:31.680
Who does that sound like? That sounds like literally every person that I've knocked in the last, how many years I've been sobering, since 2023.

01:14:31.680 --> 01:14:36.680
Literally everybody thinks they're righteous. I'm going to heaven because I'm a good person.

01:14:36.680 --> 01:14:44.680
I'm going to heaven because I did this good thing. So they're trusting themselves that they're righteous.

01:14:44.680 --> 01:14:48.680
And what they're doing actually is that they're despising others.

01:14:48.680 --> 01:14:53.680
Once they're saying that they're righteous, they're saying they're better than other people. And that's why they're going to go to heaven.

01:14:53.680 --> 01:15:01.680
They're like, well, I never killed anybody. I never committed adultery. I never slept with a child.

01:15:01.680 --> 01:15:10.680
Which now you are better than that person. I will say that if you never killed anybody or did any of the things I just named, I would like to hang around you and not that person.

01:15:10.680 --> 01:15:18.680
But at the same time, according to God's law, all of you are condemned under sin because it takes one sin to go to hell.

01:15:18.680 --> 01:15:30.680
You don't have to keep racking up on sins to go to hell. That one lie in Revelation 22, it says, and whosoever maketh a lie is going to hell and is not going to heaven.

01:15:30.680 --> 01:15:40.680
Luke chapter 18 verse 10, Jesus says two men went up into the temple to pray and also call and pray mean the same thing.

01:15:40.680 --> 01:15:48.680
Calling and praying is the same thing. Went to the temple to pray. The one a Pharisee and the other a publican.

01:15:48.680 --> 01:15:55.680
Now, back in the gospels, the publicans were really looked down upon by everybody. Nobody liked them at all.

01:15:55.680 --> 01:16:09.680
Verse 11, the Bible says the Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself. God, I thank thee that I am not as other men are extortioners, unjust adulterers, or even as this publican.

01:16:09.680 --> 01:16:14.680
Now, this is the weirdest prayer I've ever. Why are you praying that you're not like somebody else?

01:16:14.680 --> 01:16:28.680
That's like super puffed up and just prideful and such a wicked attitude that you would even bring, think to bring that stupid prayer before an almighty God that you're just better than everybody.

01:16:28.680 --> 01:16:37.680
I don't know if Donald Trump prays, but that's probably how he prays. Like, oh God, I'm so glad I'm not like Bill Clinton and I'm so glad I'm not like this person.

01:16:37.680 --> 01:16:41.680
I'm so glad I'm not like poor people because I have also all this money.

01:16:41.680 --> 01:16:46.680
So this is a very wicked way to pray that you're not like everybody else.

01:16:46.680 --> 01:16:54.680
Now, look at verse 12. He says, I fast twice in the week. I give tithes of all that I possess.

01:16:54.680 --> 01:17:01.680
And these are good things. When the people at the door said, oh, I did this to go to heaven. I did this. It's not like they're doing bad things.

01:17:01.680 --> 01:17:07.680
Those are good things. And I would pray that they keep continuing to be this good person and never sins.

01:17:07.680 --> 01:17:13.680
But that's not going to get you to heaven. Fasting twice a week is amazing, but it's not going to get you to heaven.

01:17:13.680 --> 01:17:19.680
If you tithed, if you gave all your money to the church, that's not going to get you to heaven at all.

01:17:19.680 --> 01:17:27.680
One inch. You're not one inch closer to heaven if you give all your money, your house, your car to the church bank account.

01:17:27.680 --> 01:17:38.680
Verse 13, the Bible says, and the public in standing afar off would not lift up so much as his eyes onto heaven, but smote upon his breast.

01:17:38.680 --> 01:17:42.680
That's the sinner's prayer right there. When we pray with people aren't their head.

01:17:42.680 --> 01:17:47.680
Now, sometimes they'll like look at you with their eyes open, which is kind of weird, but I'll still count that salvation.

01:17:47.680 --> 01:17:54.680
But most of the time, their head is down and they're praying the sinner's prayer.

01:17:54.680 --> 01:18:00.680
The Bible says, but smote upon his breast saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

01:18:00.680 --> 01:18:07.680
That's pretty much the sinner's prayer. Now, my sinner's prayer is much longer than God be merciful to me the sinner.

01:18:07.680 --> 01:18:16.680
But you got to understand that God is on a hair trigger to just get people saved. He wants everybody to come to heaven with him.

01:18:16.680 --> 01:18:21.680
So it's not about what you say, but you have to say something.

01:18:21.680 --> 01:18:26.680
For example, the thief on the cross, his sinner's prayer was garbage.

01:18:26.680 --> 01:18:37.680
If God would have literally believe what he said, he probably wouldn't want to heaven because the person on the cross said, God, just remember me when you go into your kingdom.

01:18:37.680 --> 01:18:42.680
So if God would have literally remembered him like, oh, yeah, I remember that thief on the cross and so would want to hell.

01:18:42.680 --> 01:18:52.680
But obviously, God wants him to get saved. He understood his heart. He believed in that was unto righteousness and he made a confession unto salvation because God wants people to get saved.

01:18:52.680 --> 01:18:59.680
He's not worried about what you say is just you just have to ask for this gift of everlasting life.

01:18:59.680 --> 01:19:04.680
And another way to prove that these people you have to call upon the Lord.

01:19:04.680 --> 01:19:06.680
I know if you've been so willing for a while, this happened.

01:19:06.680 --> 01:19:14.680
And if you ever went so willing and you get to the sentence prayer part and you're like, I bow your head, Cassie, her bow your head.

01:19:14.680 --> 01:19:21.680
Do you have any father? Do you have any father? I know I'm a sinner. I know I'm a sinner. I know I deserve to go to hell.

01:19:21.680 --> 01:19:27.680
I'm not saying that the reason why they won't say that is because they don't believe what they're saying.

01:19:27.680 --> 01:19:32.680
So that's why you have to call upon the Lord because you have to believe the words that you're saying.

01:19:32.680 --> 01:19:41.680
Now you could say you believe anything, but when it comes down to it at that moment when you're talking just directly to God, your heart's not going to want to lie.

01:19:41.680 --> 01:19:47.680
That's why they start laughing. They start chuckling and they don't want to say they deserve to go to hell.

01:19:47.680 --> 01:19:55.680
And that's a proof that that person is not saved. If somebody doesn't believe they have to go to they deserve to go to hell, then they're not saved because was again.

01:19:55.680 --> 01:19:59.680
Let's go back to step one. What's the whole point of being saved to not go to hell?

01:19:59.680 --> 01:20:06.680
So if you don't think you even deserve to go to hell, you're good. God didn't come for the righteous, but he came for the sinners.

01:20:06.680 --> 01:20:09.680
Verse 14. Look down at verse 14.

01:20:09.680 --> 01:20:17.680
I tell you this man went down to his house justified rather than the other.

01:20:17.680 --> 01:20:22.680
Justified from what? The Bible doesn't say he was justified from a physical salvation.

01:20:22.680 --> 01:20:32.680
Obviously he was justified from his sins. He was made righteous in the sight of God after he did the sinners prayer and said God be merciful to me a sinner.

01:20:32.680 --> 01:20:37.680
So according to Paul, confession is made in the salvation. You know, I'm not making this up.

01:20:37.680 --> 01:20:41.680
I, you know, I'm not that old. This book was written 2000 years ago.

01:20:41.680 --> 01:20:48.680
It says for with the heart man believeth under righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

01:20:48.680 --> 01:20:54.680
I don't know how in the world somebody could twist that to mean something that it doesn't mean.

01:20:54.680 --> 01:21:03.680
So according to the Bible, if you do not make confession unto salvation, that means you don't have salvation according to Roman sin.

01:21:03.680 --> 01:21:13.680
Now, the issue with these people is that at first look, you'll believe that they're saved because they're saying all the right things.

01:21:13.680 --> 01:21:18.680
But again, they're saying all the right things, but they don't believe anything in the Bible.

01:21:18.680 --> 01:21:22.680
Turn to Jude and remember I told you the beginning of the sermon.

01:21:22.680 --> 01:21:26.680
Remember everything you just read in Jude turned to Jude chapter six.

01:21:26.680 --> 01:21:31.680
That was a joke. Chapter one, Acts chapter 20.

01:21:31.680 --> 01:21:39.680
Paul said this for I know this that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

01:21:39.680 --> 01:21:45.680
Also of your own cells shall men arise, speaking perverse things to draw away disciples after them.

01:21:45.680 --> 01:21:54.680
These people's entire goal is to split churches and bring people with them that are kind of weak in the faith that don't really understand the Bible.

01:21:54.680 --> 01:21:59.680
Their whole goal is to mess with and split up the house of God.

01:21:59.680 --> 01:22:04.680
You should be in Jude chapter one, verse 17.

01:22:04.680 --> 01:22:06.680
Jude chapter one, verse 17.

01:22:06.680 --> 01:22:13.680
The Bible says, but beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,

01:22:13.680 --> 01:22:23.680
how that they told you there should be markers in the last time who should walk after their own ungodly lust.

01:22:23.680 --> 01:22:28.680
Remember the people I told you that, oh, yeah, I could do literally anything I want because I'm under grace.

01:22:28.680 --> 01:22:31.680
These people are walking after their own ungodly lust.

01:22:31.680 --> 01:22:37.680
These be they who separate themselves sensual, having not the spirit.

01:22:37.680 --> 01:22:42.680
Separate themselves is just like Acts said, they're drawing away disciples after them.

01:22:42.680 --> 01:22:44.680
That's what separate themselves mean.

01:22:44.680 --> 01:22:48.680
They're trying to feast on the flock.

01:22:48.680 --> 01:22:52.680
Sensual means you're only caring about the things of this world.

01:22:52.680 --> 01:22:56.680
And at the end of this verse, it says having not the spirit.

01:22:56.680 --> 01:22:58.680
Again, what is the Holy Spirit's job?

01:22:58.680 --> 01:23:04.680
It's supposed to guide us into all truth, bring us into remembrance of everything that Jesus Christ said.

01:23:04.680 --> 01:23:09.680
So if they don't believe literally anything in the Bible and the things they do believe sound blasphemous,

01:23:09.680 --> 01:23:13.680
for example, you don't got to give, God's not going to give you rewards.

01:23:13.680 --> 01:23:15.680
He's going to give us all the same rewards.

01:23:15.680 --> 01:23:22.680
And Hebrews says that God is not unrighteous to forget our labor of love and our work.

01:23:22.680 --> 01:23:25.680
That made me forget my whole point.

01:23:25.680 --> 01:23:27.680
Anyway, go to verse four.

01:23:27.680 --> 01:23:30.680
Go to verse four.

01:23:30.680 --> 01:23:31.680
Thank you, whoever that was.

01:23:31.680 --> 01:23:32.680
It made me forget my whole point.

01:23:32.680 --> 01:23:34.680
Verse four.

01:23:34.680 --> 01:23:36.680
We'll close out with this last verse.

01:23:36.680 --> 01:23:37.680
Verse four.

01:23:37.680 --> 01:23:41.680
The Bible says, for there are certain men crept in unaware.

01:23:41.680 --> 01:23:48.680
So when these people come to the church, they're not going to be like Cassie Herr or with devil horns on their head,

01:23:48.680 --> 01:23:51.680
saying that they're like they have the justible spirit.

01:23:51.680 --> 01:23:53.680
They're going to come in unaware.

01:23:53.680 --> 01:23:54.680
They're going to look like us.

01:23:54.680 --> 01:23:55.680
They're going to have a suit on.

01:23:55.680 --> 01:23:57.680
They're going to talk real nice.

01:23:57.680 --> 01:23:59.680
You know, everything like that.

01:23:59.680 --> 01:24:10.680
And the Bible says who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men turning the grace of our Lord into lasciviousness.

01:24:10.680 --> 01:24:14.680
Laciviousness is basically just nasty, nastiness.

01:24:14.680 --> 01:24:17.680
So again, grace is good.

01:24:17.680 --> 01:24:18.680
I'll start out the sermon.

01:24:18.680 --> 01:24:19.680
Grace covers all our sins.

01:24:19.680 --> 01:24:21.680
Grace is the gospel.

01:24:21.680 --> 01:24:27.680
Grace is a great thing, but they're turning grace on its head to be something that's nasty and bad.

01:24:27.680 --> 01:24:34.680
And it says at the end of the verse, and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

01:24:34.680 --> 01:24:43.680
So basically, the point of the sermon is I just want everybody to watch out for these people in the free grace community.

01:24:43.680 --> 01:24:50.680
Specifically, my last point, if somebody's telling you to call upon the name of the Lord, you don't have to do that to be saved.

01:24:50.680 --> 01:24:55.680
Just stay very clear of that person because they don't believe in the Bible.

01:24:55.680 --> 01:24:57.680
I'll close out with a word of prayer.

01:24:57.680 --> 01:25:00.680
Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, thank you for this day.

01:25:00.680 --> 01:25:12.680
And Lord, just please help us to stay wary of people that draw away disciples after themselves and that separate themselves to destroy the house of God.

01:25:12.680 --> 01:25:20.680
And just please help us to be vigilant, to see people that come in unawares and to sharpen up our own doctrine, Lord.

01:25:20.680 --> 01:25:22.680
We love you, Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

01:25:22.680 --> 01:25:27.680
Amen.

01:25:27.680 --> 01:25:28.680
Let's sing one last song.

01:25:28.680 --> 01:25:29.680
This will be a fitting song.

01:25:29.680 --> 01:25:33.680
Song 208, grace greater than our sin.

01:25:33.680 --> 01:25:36.680
Not hyper grace, but the biblical grace.

01:25:36.680 --> 01:25:37.680
Amen.

01:25:37.680 --> 01:25:39.680
Grace greater than our sin.

01:25:39.680 --> 01:25:52.680
Song 208.

01:25:52.680 --> 01:25:54.680
On the first.

01:26:22.680 --> 01:26:27.680
Grace.

01:26:27.680 --> 01:26:34.680
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.

01:26:34.680 --> 01:26:37.680
Grace.

01:26:37.680 --> 01:26:40.680
Grace.

01:26:40.680 --> 01:26:42.680
Grace.

01:26:42.680 --> 01:26:47.680
That is greater than all our sin.

01:26:47.680 --> 01:26:53.680
Saying and despair like the sea waves cold.

01:26:53.680 --> 01:27:00.680
Threaten the soul with infinite laws.

01:27:00.680 --> 01:27:07.680
Grace that is greater is grace untold.

01:27:07.680 --> 01:27:14.680
Points to the refuge, the mighty cross.

01:27:14.680 --> 01:27:16.680
Grace.

01:27:16.680 --> 01:27:17.680
Grace.

01:27:17.680 --> 01:27:19.680
Grace.

01:27:19.680 --> 01:27:21.680
Grace.

01:27:21.680 --> 01:27:27.680
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.

01:27:27.680 --> 01:27:29.680
Grace.

01:27:29.680 --> 01:27:31.680
Grace.

01:27:31.680 --> 01:27:33.680
Grace.

01:27:33.680 --> 01:27:34.680
Grace.

01:27:34.680 --> 01:27:35.680
Grace.

01:27:35.680 --> 01:27:41.680
That is greater than all our sin.

01:27:41.680 --> 01:27:48.680
Dark is the sin that we cannot hide.

01:27:48.680 --> 01:27:54.680
What can avail to wash it away?

01:27:54.680 --> 01:28:01.680
Look, there is flow in a crimson tide.

01:28:01.680 --> 01:28:08.680
Whiter than snow you may be today.

01:28:08.680 --> 01:28:10.680
Grace.

01:28:10.680 --> 01:28:12.680
Grace.

01:28:12.680 --> 01:28:15.680
God's grace.

01:28:15.680 --> 01:28:21.680
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.

01:28:21.680 --> 01:28:23.680
Grace.

01:28:23.680 --> 01:28:25.680
Grace.

01:28:25.680 --> 01:28:28.680
God's grace.

01:28:28.680 --> 01:28:35.680
Grace that is greater than all our sin.

01:28:35.680 --> 01:28:41.680
Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace.

01:28:41.680 --> 01:28:48.680
Freely bestowed on all who believe.

01:28:48.680 --> 01:28:55.680
You that all long him to see his face.

01:28:55.680 --> 01:29:02.680
Will you this moment his grace receive?

01:29:02.680 --> 01:29:04.680
Grace.

01:29:04.680 --> 01:29:06.680
Grace.

01:29:06.680 --> 01:29:09.680
God's grace.

01:29:09.680 --> 01:29:15.680
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.

01:29:15.680 --> 01:29:17.680
Grace.

01:29:17.680 --> 01:29:19.680
Grace.

01:29:19.680 --> 01:29:22.680
God's grace.

01:29:22.680 --> 01:29:29.680
Grace that is greater than all our sin.

01:29:29.680 --> 01:29:31.680
Amen.

01:29:31.680 --> 01:29:33.680
Could you close with a prayer?

01:29:33.680 --> 01:29:35.680
Thank you for serving us.

01:29:35.680 --> 01:29:38.680
Thank you for having people saved today.

01:29:38.680 --> 01:29:42.680
We just pray God we would be aware of the award.

01:29:42.680 --> 01:29:46.680
We would not tolerate the award.

01:29:46.680 --> 01:29:48.680
Amen.

01:29:48.680 --> 01:29:50.680
You are dismissed.

01:29:50.680 --> 01:29:52.680
Have a nice day.
